If you have not already seen this, check out this video of Hillary Clinton stating that, quote, “Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances“:

“Any” means “any”. That would include the (admittedly hypothetical) case of Trump clearly winning by a landslide. Again, “any” means “any”.

The direct implications of that is that the Dems should re-take the White House by any and all means and under any and all circumstances.

That is also a direct appeal to sabotage the US democracy which, as flawed as it is, is the only rule of law based option currently available to the people of the USA.

Will that result in a civil war?

That is rather unlikely, because for a civil war you need to have at least two credible parties which can coordinate attacks and defensive operations on, at least, a regional scale. I don’t see that in the USA.

But I don’t see how local/regional violence (at times severe) and political chaos can be avoided.

We already know that the Dems will never accept a Trump victory.

We also know that the Trump supporters will claims that the USPS cannot be trusted with mail voting (I totally agree with them, the USPS is one of the worst postal services of any developed country on the planet).

Then there is the following issue: as police departments are “defunded” and cops are resigning en masse (and I sure can’t blame them!), simple citizens will have to increasingly protect themselves, which many of them can do, but the problem here is that these citizens are then charged while the surviving BLM and/or Antifa thugs walk free, even if they attacked first.

In some US states (like Florida, thank God for that!), the local Sheriffs will stand by their citizens and the local DAs will not prosecute those who used lethal force to defend themselves against a short list of forcible felonies (including home violations, carjackings, rapes, etc.). Just listen to this selection of FL sheriffs:

I have been a Florida resident since 18 years now and I can sincerely say that I don’t recommend BLM/Antifa try to loot or riot in Florida, because they will be met with a lot of force and a legal system which strongly favors the law abiding citizen, including in cases of self-defense.

But in northern states?!

So far, if I am not mistaken, most of the riots so far have taken place in northern states (Atlanta is in the south, but it is also not truly a “southern city” since it is run by BLM/Antifa sympathizers; the same could be said about Miami, FL, by the way).

This is probably not a coincidence. And this has nothing to do with “southern racism” (in my experience southerners are no more racist than northerners), but much more with a culture of self-defense, rooted in the land, which makes southern people much more likely to “circle the wagons” and act together.

And while I never bought the (rather silly) arguments that “guns protect the people from tyranny” (tyrants typically have trained and professional forces which can make minced meat of any armed civilians!), I do believe that armed citizens can very effectively stop rioting thugs (just remember how the Koreans of L.A. defended themselves and their stores during the L.A. riots).

Luckily, southern states are much more faithful to the US Constitution than those northern states which have “castrated” the 2nd Amendment “by a thousand (legislative) cuts” (there are, exceptions, of course).

This is not widely known, but in about 25%-30% or so of cases or armed robbery by thugs, their guns either don’t work, or they are fake. Their ammo often sucks too (either bad condition, or completely inadequate). Why? Because criminals are too stupid and too cheap to invest in quality firearms and training. As a result, if BLM/Antifa thugs try to storm a residential neighborhood or some small town in the South, they might be “greeted” by a lot of very competent firepower.

I think that it is pretty clear that the US deep state and the Dem Party are using BLM/Antifa as footsoldiers to create chaos and prepare for even worse violence should Trump win. There are also some signs that the Dem leadership does not want to let the (totally senile) Joe Biden go against Trump in a debate. Here is an excerpt from a ZeroHedge report:

I don’t think that there should be any debates,” Pelosi said on Thursday, one day after President Trump demanded Biden take a drug test before the two square off. “I wouldn’t legitimize a conversation with him – nor a debate in terms of the presidency of the United States,” she added. Pelosi said that Trump was “disgraceful” when he ‘stalked‘ Hillary Clinton during the 2016 debate by walking near her, and that he will probably “act in a way that is beneath the dignity of the presidency.”

The message is clear: we do not recognize Trump as a legitimate opponent and should he win, this will be because of Chinese interference and/or and Russian interference and/or “Republican bullying” (whatever that is supposed to mean). Bottom line: we will under no circumstances accept another defeat.

Dunno about you, but to me this sounds like sedition. Here is how Wikipedia defines this concept:

Sedition is overt conduct, such as speech and organization, that tends toward insurrection against the established order. Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and incitement of discontent toward, or resistance against, established authority. Sedition may include any commotion, though not aimed at direct and open violence against the laws. Seditious words in writing are seditious libel. A seditionist is one who engages in or promotes the interest of sedition.

I don’t see any evidence that Trump and/or the GOP leadership are guilty of sedition, at least not inside their own country – outside, of course, they are currently the single most subversive force on the planet. In fact, I would argue that in spite of all the many major differences, Trump is facing a situation not dissimilar to what Lukashenko faces in Belarus. The biggest difference is that Trump is not backed by Putin. In fact, he is backed by nobody (besides bone fide nutcases like Jair Bolsonaro and Ivan Duque Marquez or cheap prostitutes like Andrzej Duda or Dalia Grybauskaite).

I do see overwhelming evidence that the Clinton Gang & the US deep state & (pseudo-) “liberal” “elites” are all guilty of sedition. As a result of this egging on of rioting thugs, things happen which would have been quite unthinkable just a year ago.

For example: a US Senator and his wife almost got lynched by a mob just outside the White House. Is that even possible? Yes it is, see for yourself:

Friends, this is not Afghanistan or the Central African Republic. And a senator is one of the highest possible offices any man or woman can achieve. Yet in this country capital city, right outside the White House, cops were unable to protect a senator from a mob. Yet this is how the mainstream media presented this: “Protesters confront Rand Paul outside White House after Republican convention“. Since when are criminal thugs who attempt to lynch a senator and his wife called “protesters”?! And does “confront” not suggest that Senator Paul somehow deserved to be “confronted”.

Can you imagine what the media would have said if this had happened to a black senator?

Does this kind of mainstream “reporting” not show that this country’s political system is collapsing?

Conclusion

I don’t see a civil war happening in the US. But I do think that this country can, and probably will, break-up into different zones so to speak. In some regions, law and order will be maintained, by force is needed, while in others something new will appear: what the French call “des zones de non-droit“, meaning “areas of lawlessness” in which law enforcement will be absent (either because the political leaders will refuse to engage them, or because they will simply have to withdraw under fire). Typically, such zones have a parallel “black” economy which can make the gangs which control such zones very wealthy (think of Russia in the 1990s). Eventually, a lot of people will flee from such zones and seek refuge in the safer areas of the country (this process has already begun in New York).

Right now, there are a little over two months before the election, and I think that it is safe to say that the situation will deteriorate even faster and much worse. By November 2nd the country will be “ready” (so to speak) for a massive explosion of violence followed by months of chaos.

Many will probably vote Trump just because they will (mistakenly) believe that he is the only politician who will stand against what the Dems promise to unleash against the majority of “deplorables” who want to keep their country and traditions. At the core, the conflict we are now witnessing is a conflict about identity, something which most people deeply care about. Sooner or later, there will be push-back against the Dems attempt to turn the USA into some kind of obese transgender liberal Wakanda run by crooks, freaks and thugs.

The Dems won’t get their civil war – but they will suffer the blowback for their attempts to destroy the United States.

    These have occurred temporarily in the U.S. (Ferguson, Baltimore) where incompetent SJW Democrats so restricted the police they could not safely operate. However, the non-criminals in these areas want police protection, so eventually the incompetence is unwound.

    Instead there may be near total de-population events. SJW Democrat mayors are permanently eradicating private employment in certain cities by allowing rioters to wipe out businesses. Those seeking work will leave. With near zero revenue, the cities will have to eliminate handouts. Those avoiding work will also leave.

  5. I can’t help but think that The Clinton Machine is a big part of this. Just like the overthrow of Ukraine, Libya, etc. the mobs are taking to the streets supported by who knows. Remember Clinton acolyte Victoria “F-the-E-U” Newland’s comments on spending $5B on the Kiev Project. Hillary’s comment that Biden should not concede under ANY circumstances juxtaposed with Rand Paul’s comments on the rioters seem to be two sides of the Color Revolution coin.

    What will “The Military” do? It depends. Vets I know say they will not will fire on fellow citizens that are trying to maintain their lives, homes and livelihoods. Might the Generals give the orders only to find out the rank and file will disobey?

    Unfortunately we’re probably only in Act 1, Scene 1 of this Fourth Turning play.

  6. I’ve predicted this on multiple occasions:

    A civil war like that which wracked England in the 17th century and Mexico, Russia and Spain in the 20th is almost impossible in the USA. Just as unlikely is a geographic split like that which led to the USA’s War Between The States in the 19th century. Long before the potential for such disruptive scenarios could arise, some combination of the military-industrial complex, the deep state, and the ruling political and financial elites would conspire to stage a coup.

    If such a coup occurs, or if the disorder and violence in this country continues escalating, the end result won’t be a true civil war but something like the Irish “Troubles” of the 1920s and 1930s whose effects reverberate down to the present, e.g. the continued existence of various organized crime groups like the Provisional IRA.

    During The Troubles multiple factions challenged the authority of the official Irish government, which lacked sufficient authority and support to crush these movements. The country was rife with militias, often hardly more than bandit gangs, whose shifting allegiances were often murky, even to their leaders. There was a steady, demoralizing level of thuggish violence, like that which characterizes many Negro urban enclaves in the USA today. This was interspersed with violence that rose to the level of military engagements, albeit just fire fights and ambushes rather than full-scale battles.

    The chaos didn’t end until all parties became so disgusted with the miserable situation that the major leaders reluctantly sat down together and worked out a ceasefire. This morphed into an extended truce and eventually a permanent peace. However, disgruntled radicals still maintained the equivalent of militias and would sometimes engage in violence well into the late 20th century.

    I could imagine something like this happening in the USA. What would make it worse is that the insurmountable racial divisions in the USA are more genetic than cultural, yet align to some degree along ideological grounds. Any simmering, low intensity civil conflict in the USA, unlike the Irish Troubles, will have elements of a race war. As past events in the late and unlamented Yugoslavia have demonstrated this will add a further dark and bloody aspect to an already horrendous situation.

Shan Hackett (“The Third World War”) warned against the “disproportionation of society”, [ahem]”urban” populations voting themselves progressively (heh) lefter governments raising taxes to pay for gibs and police thereby driving out the tax base and drawing in even more deadbeats creating a feedback loop until there are high-tax, no-tax-base, social-spending, leftist-governed places with bloated unfriendly police faced off with productive, low-tax, conservative havens with no social spending, clean and safe streets and polite police.
    Hackett´s objection was this situation was rife for communist agitation – methinks a little naif.
    If the cities are gone anyway, why not let them die in their own juices?

    There is no chance of civil “war”. What the Deep State wants is another matter – they could end the “protests” in a matter of hours, permanently. We´ll see 😀

    It would be difficult for the US military to suppress a popular uprising of armed Americans. Those traitors in the military who turned their weapons against Americans would have to reckon with some brutal facts. Their families live in America; it would be necessary to move all family members to military bases. Those not protected would be executed and that would dispirit the soldiers. Armies need food and supplies; any trucks have to move through the country where they would be in grave danger from IEDs and other attacks. Hellicopters can be shot out of the sky. Armed forces could seize cities but they would soon be starving, there would be no power or water.

National guard depots, which are located all over small town America, are stocked with weapons and staffed by locals. Disciplinary issues where pilots refuse to bomb their own country. The sabotage and destruction of the means of producing such weapons. etc etc. We are also talking about a military that is rapidly losing core competencies fighting organized “retirees” of that same organization from a time when it was capable.

    While they could easily put down a local rebellion, there is no way they could suppress a multi-state uprising without ensuring their own end. The will run out of willing men and materials before they can physically occupy them unless they call in outside help. In fact they will have to. They cant have those racist north dakotans get their hands on the nukes stock piled there.

    Um… I must disagree with you there. Have you ever tried to mail anything in ITALY? (HAHAHAHA).

    The big money has been attacking the USPS for some time. I mean, making them forward-fund the retirements of all postal workers like 70 years in advance? No government – no private corporation – works under those accounting rules. That’s just rubbish, designed to suck resources out of the USPS and slowly strangle it to death.

    Right now, for I think 55 cents, you can mail something physical pretty much anywhere in the US and the odds of it arriving are about 99.9 percent. Sure, UPS and Fedex will do the same: for twenty times more!!! No wonder the rich hate the USPS. If the founders of this republic could be brought back from the dead, the USPS might be the only branch of government that they would still recognize.

    Dump on the USPS all you want. You’ll miss it when it’s gone.

    Um… I must disagree with you there. Have you ever tried to mail anything in ITALY? ‘

    It varies. I used to mail weekly check deposits from my home in the San Francisco Bay Area to the bank I used in Los Angeles.

    Over the course of twenty years, the checks always got there. Moreover, with exactly one exception, they got there within three days (that one time, it took eight days). If one had to go to the local post office, the clerks would work on with unhurried indifference regardless of how long the line got — but the mails were always delivered properly.

    Now, when we lived in rural Hawaii…it was a different story. I used to try to figure out how I could arrange for packages to be delivered without passing into the hands of USPS. They were catastrophic. Mail lost for months, destroyed packages, openly indifferent employees…it was appalling. Aloha.

    Move up here to provincial Oregon, and we’ve gone all the way to the other end of the scale. I realized this one December 22nd or something when I realized I had to go to the post office.

    I am doomed… Sighing, I went to meet my fate. Sure enough, the line was out the door…but it was moving, and fast. In true Oregon fashion, all the postal clerks had lit their afterburners, and were hustling. I was out of there in ten minutes.

    So, in my experience…it varies. The postal service is only as good as its employees.

    If democrats will win the Congress than democrats will invent some tricky new law, that it is the majority what counts and not electoral college. There will be months of arguing, demonstrations but no shooting. For a few months there will be no president. In the end Democrats will win.

    The egg shell plaintiff doctrine is immaterial to the question of liability. Liability of the officers is determined under a two part qualified immunity test. Part one – was the force applied objectively reasonable in light of the circumstances facing the officer at the time? Part two – was the use of force in this case so obviously excessive under the circumstances facing the arresting officers that no reasonable officer could believe the force used was legitimate. The family suing on behalf of Floyd’s estate would also need to prove that the use of excessive force is what killed Floyd. So if for example the jury were to answer part one and two yes, then the arresting officer is liable of the knee to the neck is what killed him. If the fentanyl killed him and the knee to the neck was not a contributing causal factor in bringing about the death, then the officer is not liable for the death under the law, regardless of how egregious the videos appear. It will be a very hard case to try because of all of the emotions and pressure on the jury to find liability, regardless of what the medical causation proves was the cause of death. The jury will be asked, would the death of George Floyd not have occurred but for the excessive of the defendant officer? The jury will be faced with having to decide whether he was a goner anyway despite how bad that video looks.

    In Atlanta, which is typical for the South, an average high temperature of 85F is what you see at the tail end of summer in early September. The average high in November is 64F, and 85F would be a record high for the entire month. It will cool down sooner than you think, and if your overall theory is correct, it will heat up at the same time.

When you consider the fact that the mainscream media is constantly hyping racial hysteria and conflating rioters with the dwindling bunch of legitimate protestors; one is inevitably led to the firm conclusion that this media (owned by a particular self-centered tribe) has become openly seditious.

    Let’s look at the major network boobtoob noose organizations, ABC, NBC and CBS–perhaps also the rapidly fading MSNBC–we are viewing corporations operating under the licensing system of the Federal Communications Commission.

    Should reasonable proof be established by the Administration that these “services” are indeed not serving the public good by presenting at least relatively objective news coverage and that instead of that they are deliberately slanting their coverage in such manner as to endanger the peace; then it might be circumstantially judicious for the President of the United States to inform the chief administrator of the FCC to immediately terminate the broadcasting licenses of these corporate entities.

    So please, Mr. Saker, as much as I like this article, please understand that your offhanded insult of my country’s postal system smacks of ignorance. The postal systems of your favored part of what you call the “developed world” are infinitely more corrupt and problematic than mine.

I’m talking about regularly plundered Christmas and birthday presents to relatives and family in Hawaii and the Texas capital of Austin (we gave up on that) as well as checks for deposit only in a Stateside bank in Hawaii and registered notarized documents needed for my former business in that state, which is no longer possible anyway thanks to ridiculous state and federal edicts. I live in Europe and the mails work on this end. German mail remains as reliable as Hitler’s railroad schedules. No idea what’s going on in the States, but it looks pretty Third Worldish.

Would that be achieved easier or harder if the supporters and family of illegal immigrants have guns?     Anyone who hasn’t been a combat infantryman has no clue of the specialized competencies involved. Watching war movies won’t help. A band of untrained or semi-trained romantics coming up against professional soldiers is in for a nasty surprise.

Under these circumstances it is not unfair to conclude in the last analysis that “proximate cause” like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. It is only slightly facitious to suggest that no one really knows what it is and neither will the juries who will have to decide the issue. As Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart said in 1964, he couldn’t define obscenity but “I know it when I see it. The juries will have all the evidence and the video as well. How much the video will influence the juries no one knows but it will be a factor and it is startling. Under these circumstances if the juries decide the conduct of the defendent(s) was the legal proximate cause of Floyd’s death no appellate court will overturn their verdict. The defendant’s will be guilty and liable for wrongful death damages. On the other hand nor will an appellate court overturn the juries verdicts if they decide the defendant(s) conduct was not the legal proximate cause of Floyd’s death. It’s just that simple. Like beauty, it is in the eye of the beholder.

    Eight weeks basic training gets you to E-4. Twelves weeks advanced infantry and you’re an E-5 infantryman. Rangers, Airborne and other specialists get additional months of training.

    A couple months ago a story in a SF newspaper reported 11,300 small businesses in L.A. had closed for the pandemic, highest in the nation, and Yelp research concludes most of these closures will be permanent.     “DeJoy, a Trump fundraiser who owns millions worth of stock in Postal Service competitors, has been on the job barely two months. But already, his changes have caused serious delays in delivery.

    Ostensibly, these moves are cost-saving measures. But it doesn’t take a partisan cynic to understand how this kind of disruption could affect voting in November’s election. The president himself has said he hopes as much.

    Postal employees pride ourselves on a culture of never delaying the mail. Our unofficial mantra can best be summed up as, “Mail that comes in today, goes out today — no matter what.”

    We are now being told to ignore that. If mail can’t get delivered or processed without overtime, it is supposed to sit and wait. That can mean big delays.

    For example, letter carriers normally split up the route of a colleague who’s on vacation or out sick. These carriers each take a portion of the absent employee’s route after completing their own, often using a little bit of overtime. Now, that mail doesn’t get delivered until much later.

    Then there’s the mail that arrives late in the day. Before, late arriving mail would often be processed for the next day’s delivery, even if that required the use of overtime. Today, that mail sits in the plant at least until the following evening. Mail arriving late on a Saturday or a holiday weekend could be delayed even longer.

    In the plants, meanwhile, the short staffing of clerks means it takes longer to get all the mail through the sorting machines. To make matters worse, under orders from DeJoy, mail processing equipment is also being scrapped.

    Even though the processing takes longer, drivers aren’t allowed to wait on it. Postal truck drivers are being disciplined for missing their departure time even by a few minutes — even if they haven’t gotten all the mail they’re supposed to haul. In some cases, the trucks that leave are completely empty!

    Finally, DeJoy’s proposals to cut hours of operation at many smaller post offices — and the removal of many public mailboxes — will make it harder for the public to access postal services.

    When you limit hours to 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and close on Saturdays, you eliminate access for anybody working the day shift. Throw in mandatory closure for lunch breaks in the middle of the day, and it makes matters that much worse for our customers.

    DeJoy now says he’ll delay more changes until after the election, but he also had the nerve to tell Congress he wouldn’t replace the 600 sorting machines he’d already removed.

    Delaying more changes isn’t enough. Instead, Congress must approve crisis relief for USPS — and reverse DeJoy’s disastrous service cuts altogether.”

A couple of million complaints citing their false news and the chaos created by it, with a request to present in person at the renewal hearing would scare the shit out of those deciding the fate of the license.     The state of USPS, unsurprisingly, depends on where you live. I have witnessed frequent obvious use of the Dodge delivery SUVs. I receive misdelivered mail addressed to someone many blocks away. The service at the post offices, when I’ve been unfortunate enough to need to go there, is extremely poor. Speed of delivery has continually declined.

    — Wouldn’t there be substantial recordings from cockpits to air traffic control as pilots realized they were being pulled astride of their routes? Even if recordings were destroyed, the controllers would have been witnesses to the conversations they had with pilots.

    — What about the cell phone calls between passengers and family members, many of whom were interviewed extensively later and the call audio was played? Wouldn’t that mean that at least fake hijackers were on board acting out? (Edit: oh, I see how this could have been done too. The hijackers may have believed that they were just working a ‘live exercise’ and didn’t know they would die that day.)

    —Certainly possible that the planes were blown-up far enough into the Atlantic that no one would have seen anything and zero evidence would remain. But, it seems a bit unlikely. Between fishing vessels and tankers plus other distant planes — it’s amazing that no one saw anything. Even more so that ZERO pieces of baggage, plane part, body part, etc. would have ever been found by water vessels. Oh wait, the perps would likely have had ‘clean-up crews’ out there for the debris collection. Hhmm.

Since GN, DoD is responsible for preparing for war, but not for executing it. Chain of command for fighting units now runs President, SecDef, “Combatant Commanders” (CCDR). The CCDR are, nowadays, leaders of expeditionary forces, way far away where they can’t do much harm.

    In the name of efficiency, units in the States (active and National Guard) are kept separate from their ammunition and supplies.

    Somebody disarmed DoD quite some time ago, the abolition of the Regiment being a first step. I remember back in the hollow force era, morale was quite low, and the question was asked — “What can we do for morale?” Answer: issue berets. The last thing wanted back then was an armed force with morale. If it were not for the NCO corps, the US Armed Forces would have gone the way of the European armies.

    So, yes, a military coup isn’t that likely. There are scenarios that could almost work, but not not quite, unless they were symbolic — support for a new regime that had already won politically and wanted a show of support.

    The basic city problem is that the resources to support the cities are used up. Capital flow has been diverted to the cities since the 1960s revolution (and that is all the 1960s revolution was about). The US industrial/infrastructure plant is as fully depreciated as was the USSR’s back in the 1980s. It cannot support the cities anymore.

    The above analysis applies to Western Europe as well – urban government that has maintained its economically useless cities by importing foreign vote farms and has impoverished its countryside.

    So much for background. To summarize:

    * The US/Western cities are almost fully depreciated, and cannot recapitalize.

    * The Western countrysides have given all they have and have nothing to give their next generation.

    So: yes, a rural victory in the 2020 elections (Trump elected) is frightening to cities — it means the system they set up in the 1960s has failed. However, it is not illegitimate. There is no reason for the countryside to accept further impoverishment from the urban areas, nor are they party to any agreement to tolerate such further impoverishment. Moreover, the countryside has no capability to accept impoverishment from the urban areas — “Everything you had is gone, as you can see. That’s what you get for loving me.” (**) and the countryside does not love (or respect) the cities anymore.

    Cities cannot paint themselves and their inhabitants and as the injured. They aren’t. Cities are the killers, and their time is up.

    *) Note that the definition of “hatred” first informs us that “hate” is an emotion or feeling, then uses the word “hate” to define the feeling. In other words, the word is disconnected from any description of the situation that evokes hate.     But, to answer you about the books…no, I have not read any of those. The info I gather is enough for me as I find delving into book-length format on such dark topics to be depressing. I tend to get the gist pretty quickly on things so don’t need extensive details. But, I’m glad other people get into that.

American cities are much bigger than Belfast (400,000) and Londonderry(80,000); the population is much better armed. If a comparable conflict were to break out in America (Blacks & Left wingers versus Whites & Center/Right wingers) the death roll may well be an order of magnitude greater, over just a few years.
