Bad news all around today. The US has just slammed provocative sanctions against Russia even though the US ambassador to Moscow was summoned to the Foreign Ministry and clearly told that if the US imposes more sanctions there will be no meeting between Putin and Biden.

Then there is this: the US has informed the Turkish authorities that they will not send two USN ships into the Black Sea. This is politically a good sign, but in military terms, this is what the US should be doing if they were preparing for war. Why? Because any USN ship in the Black Sea at the moment of the initiation of a conflict would be sunk withing minutes: not only do the Russians have formidable missiles – Bal and Bastion – they had SIX advanced diesel-electric submarines of the 636.3 class ready to “greet” them. Keep in mind that engaging submarines without air cover is another form of collective suicide.

So, the phone call was a deception and the US is still going down the road towards war with Russia.

In my professional opinion, what I see is a joint preparation by the Ukronazis and the USA (along with the UK and Poland) to attack the Donbass and force a conflict upon Russia.

Considering the extreme nature of these developments, I am reopening an open thread.

PS: as for the Ukronazis, they have just used their heavy artillery (banned by the Minsk Agreements) to murder another civilian in his home. They were apparently trying to disable an electric station (a typical move by US-trained militaries before an attack).

It is very hard for me to see how a war could be avoided.

UPDATE: Biden has just declared a national emergency in the USA in response to the Russian threat. He will make a special address to the nation tonight.

  1. I suspect Biden will soon announce Nato membership for the Ukraine, possibly in his address tonite. So that if Russia attacks Donbass, all the Nato countries will be obligated to retaliate. This is why he recalled the two ships from the Black Sea, because he will have crossed the Rubicon, Russia’s red line. The die is cast. “Let loose the dogs of war!”

This could be the most perilous moment of the Cold War, because shooting likely is imminent. Спаси и сохрани.

“…a joint preparation by the Ukronazis and the USA (along with the UK and Poland) to attack the Donbass and force a conflict upon Russia.”

Certainly they have not given up the idea but it is possible they are stepping back to allow time to change their plans. The original plan was to assume Russia would do nothing in response to a Ukronazi attack followed by NATO troops. Putin made it clear to Macron, Merkel and (JCS) Milley that there would be a response that would result in Ukraine’s destruction.

However, I don’t think they’re stupid enough now to try anything unless Russia pulls back. They might try something in Syria as a distraction though.

What about Belarus? The West tried a color revolution there a few months ago. Lukashenko must see the danger and the Belarussian-Ukraine border extends from Poland to Russia with the middle part not very far from Kyiv.

A serious question needs to be asked at this moment: Who is factually in charge of US foreign policy? I know it’s more than one man, but there has to be someone who has the final say on things like Ukraine and Taiwan. It can’t be Biden, who’s a puppet and half-senile. It could theoretically be this Blinken character, but he just doesn’t look the part to me. I just feel it has to be someone more substantial somehow. Is it Soros, Kissinger, some other heavyweight like that? These are all pretty old.

Because if we knew who it was, we could read what they say and sort of figure out what they’re trying to pull. There’s a feeling in the air that the Americans are gearing up for something big geopolitically (perhaps that’s why they wanted Trump out of the way), but who’s pulling the strings?

There is no single string-puller in an ant colony. For example, every ant is tugging at that dead beetle and trying to drag it back to the nest and doesn’t need an individual string puller to tell them what to do. The ant colony in the present day West is the conglomeration of all the forces who wield power and determine what is right/wrong and where they want to tug human societies. That would be the permanent government bureaucracies, the media, academia, intelligence agencies, militaries, corporate executives, interest groups etc. People try to put a name on it by calling ZOG, or GloboHomo or GloboCap or the MIIC, but it can’t be encapsulated that neatly. They don’t need any one of the individuals who you mentioned to be the master string-pullers who decide on the goal. Everyone knows what has to be done and works as best they can toward it. What we see is the beetle seemingly zigzagging around as individual ants heave at it, but it basically stays on the approximate course laid out by the trail of pheromones from their fellow ants back to the nest. Hence; we are sending US Navy ships to the Black Sea, no never mind we aren’t; we want a meeting with Putin to make demands, no never mind we’ll just pile on more sanctions, but either way we inch closer to the precipice.
The ultimate goal is always the same, the isolation and subjugation of a nation that both resists submission to the global financial order, and refuses to sanction drag-queen story hour in its children’s libraries.

There has to be a “big brain” behind it all. Geopolitics isn’t ant work. You need somebody with great competence to make the big decisions. In the past it was quite obvious who it was: McNamara, Kissinger, Brzezinski, Wolfowitz. But I don’t see who has taken their place. It’s obvious to American elites they’re losing clout geopolitically, but they surely have some tricks up their sleeve. And I’m curious who will decide which tricks get put into motion.

I construe not sending the ships into the Black Sea as a backdown rather than as preparation for conflict. The US may want to save face by doing something else but its ability to engage in direct military conflict is limited. It’s geared toward overwhelming smaller, weaker countries, not taking on a peer enemy on their doorstep. The US may push others to do something rash but it seems they may be hesitant in view of the probable outcome. A nice little war scare could be beneficial domestically in that police state powers could be increased and the public panicked into buying into it. We’ll see what they have up their sleeve.

What frightens me is that Russia and China have not got a real lot to lose anymore when it comes to detente because the US in its guise of global bully is actively picking fights. It seems that if the US is on the way down it intends to take the rest of the planet with it.

Russia has hypersonic missiles that gives it a first strike capability that is quickly being eroded as the US catches up. Likewise the S500 advantage is limited and reasonably short term.

Having been made self reliant due to constant sanctions, Russia probably has the ability to win a nuclear war now, but probably not in the near future. (With China on their side nuking the few US survivors of secondary exchanges, Russia definitely wins but China goes straight to the head of the class.)

The kicker is the US pulling out of the INF treaty means that Russia _must_ assume that _any_ cruise missile headed its way carries a nuclear warhead and react accordingly.

Nato better be delicate when Russia reacts to Ukraine invading the Donbass next month or I fear a nuclear war is a _real_ possibility.

Anonymous 4, 14, a very apposite question with a simple answer. Who can kill you and torture you and get away with it? Who has a dozen different get-out-of-jail-free cards in law and regulation? That is the locus of sovereignty – not sovereignty as responsibility, the contemporary meaning in international law, but its opposite, sovereignty as impunity, the atavistic kingly power of life and death. That’s who’s in charge.

And that locus of atavistic absolute sovereignty is CIA. CIA was chartered with impunity at the outset. Sen. Tydings pointed it out at the time, but they sicced Tail-gunner Joe on him. With an unnumbered presidential directive, CIA got the power to stick moles in every government agency.

CIA periodically tries to obfuscate its impunity. In the 70s they farmed the crime out to satellites’ secret services. After 9/11 they created DNI to “coordinate” CIA and extend its power to the Nazi Heimat homeland. And who’s DNI now? Avril Haines, the CIA all-star who gamed out and executed CIA’s domestic use of the banned biological weapon SARS-COV-2.

So when you’re looking for Biden’s ventriloquists, keep your eye on Avril and the DO, Cohen. They will have CIA alums as henchmen on the NSC, but Avril and Cohen are commanding this war. When the SCO kicks the US junta’s ass, they will be the first two cringing in the dock at Khabarovsk.

As a sidelight, I would like to point out how utterly preposterous the claims that Russia was behind the SolarWinds hack is.

SolarWinds fired a lot of US employees and moved most of its engineering to Eastern Europe: the Czech Republic, Poland and Belarus. The CEO made a pile of money, but now the people writing the core security software for companies like Microsoft are foreign nationals, on foreign soil, probably unvetted. And we are surprised that there was a hack?

I mean, suppose you are put in charge of guarding a warehouse. You hire a bunch of people right off the street, pay them next to nothing, don’t do background checks, give them the keys, and go off to enjoy the profits of a juicy security contract and low wage costs. And a year later the warehouse owner notices that stuff has gone missing. So of course you blame the Russians! It’s all Putin’s fault! We should declare war!

It’s a joke. I mean, maybe the Russians were involved, or some other country, who knows? Even if it was the Russians, it was the fault of the SolarWinds CEO.

I mean, if you put a $20 billon a park bench, walk around the block, and find the $20 gone, is that automatically Putin’s fault? Or maybe the fault starts with you…

It’s like the OPM hack a while back by communist China, turns out that the contractor for the government computer system gave administrator privileges to Chinese citizens on Chinese soil. I mean really, we’re not a serious country any more.

  27. @Molip

Russia has hypersonic missiles that gives it a first strike capability that is quickly being eroded as the US catches up.

To the extent Russia’s lead is “being eroded” at all it is certainly not happening quickly. Russia is presently way ahead, and Russian weapons development is continuing. So by the time the U.S. deploys its first hypersonic missiles (if ever), Russia will be fielding its 2nd and/or 3rd generation hypersonic missiles and will likely have effective defenses against such missiles.

Likewise the S500 advantage is limited and reasonably short term.

“Limited” is better than the “nothing” the U.S. has, and what do you mean by “reasonably short term”? As I understand it, S-500 can defend against ICBMs and hypersonic cruise missiles.

Having been made self reliant due to constant sanctions, Russia probably has the ability to win a nuclear war now, but probably not in the near future.

I don’t see how anything is going to happen in the “near future” that’s going to change the odds in favor of the evil empire. If anything, the U.S. efforts to catch up will fail like everything else and the evil empire will continue to fall further behind.

I don’t think it’s a “distraction”; I think it’s an act of desperation by demon-possessed, devil-worshiping madmen who increasingly realize at some level of consciousness that their satanic wet dreams of complete world domination and control are in the toilet.

  39. @War for Blair Mountain

I am certain that the Chinese are also targeted for genocide. Even a China without the CCP would be too much for the necrotic West, and any break-up into several countries, if achieved, would not last long. For the racist Western and Zionazi supremacists, a superior State and system run by untermenschen is an impossible affront. To top it off, oneUS military psychopath accused China of pursuing ethnically specific bio-weapons, a lie, naturally, but also, as is so very often the case, a pathopsychological projection of US and Israeli (with apartheid South Africa)research efforts over decades. Believe nothing until it is officially denied and someone else is accused of it.

Yeah…it’s real bona fide physics. You can go google the graduate courses on emergent phenomena. But applying this to understand society…in my point of view….is largely metaphorical….but still useful because it’s better than nothing. Speaking for myself…I believe local interactions-long range order perspective is very interesting because it may explain why top-down oppressive systems persist via Hume’s…as in David Hume the English Philosopher….idea “‘given the consent to be governed”. A physical system that exhibits the phenomena of local interactions-long range order are quasi-crystals and Penrose Tiles.

The S500 is limited by the amount of ammunition Russia can expend. Simply there are way more missiles that can be aimed at Russia than they could conceivably shoot down. And now that the INF is gone Russia must treat every incoming cruise missile as if it is a nuke.

The fake missile, the fake F-35, the fake Nato, the fake snowflake troops, the fake mad-hatter “command,” the fake strategy(?!), all can expect to take heavy losses. They were designed to enrich corporations and please the Wokefare state, not fight wars. Russian soldiers are trained and their weapons designed to kill. Casualties do not play well on television. https://www.globalresearch.ca/vaccines-real-driving-force-behind-latest-donbass-destabilization/5741970?utm_campaign=magnet&utm_source=article_page&utm_medium=related_articles

“Putting everything together, it can compellingly be argued that while domestic Ukrainian politics and the US’ regional geostrategic ambitions play very important roles in driving the recent destabilization in Donbass, any discussion of these developments is incomplete without incorporating the influence of “vaccine nationalism”. The US will do whatever it can to prevent Russian-EU Sputnik V cooperation since it fears that this would greatly reduce its hegemonic influence over the continent. Provoking a crisis in Ukraine, which was already boiling for a long time already even before last year’s COVID-19 outbreak, could help advance this agenda by making it politically impossible for the EU to purchase Russia’s vaccines. It would be very challenging for any country to go forward with such plans in the face of unprecedented American pressure to “reconsider” following what they’d be told was so-called “Russian aggression in Ukraine” even though Moscow wouldn’t be responsible for sparking any potential conflict. That could in turn prolong America’s fading hegemony over the EU.”

Alas poor uncle Shmuel seems to be having some serious trouble in procuring cost-effective weapons with which to threaten and/or beat the independent world into submission. Apparently the consequences of the self-destructive contradictions inherent to evil just snuck up on him, catching him off guard. What most children learn at an early age – that you can’t have your cake and eat it too – Uncle Shmuel apparently only began to grasp after coming face to face with what would almost certainly be a spectacular and devastating military defeat.

The extent to which fantasy drives Pentagon “thinking” does not bode well for Amurika’s next war.

Apparently the Looney Tunes cartoon series “Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner” predicted the future, where Wile E. Coyote = U.S. “government”; Road Runner = independent countries that refuse to offer themselves up for dinner, e.g Russia; ACME corp. = Lockheed-Martin et al.

For example, the U.S. “government” (Wile E. Coyote) bought the complicated and expensive Aegis Combat System from Lockheed-Martin (ACME corp.) which can shoot down passenger jets (Iran Air Flight 655, TWA Flight 800) but is probably useless against modern Russian missiles and EW technology (Road Runner). In other outlandish schemes, Wile E. Coyote also bought the complicated, expensive and useless F-35, faulty littoral combat ships, etc., all in hopeless pursuit of that elusive goal of complete world domination and control.

Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner are a duo of cartoon characters from the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of animated cartoons. In each episode, the cunning, insidious and constantly hungry Coyote repeatedly attempts to catch and subsequently eat the roadrunner, but is successful (in catching the Road Runner, not eating it) only on extremely rare occasions.[23] Instead of his animal instincts, the Coyote uses absurdly complex contraptions (sometimes in the manner of Rube Goldberg) to try to catch his prey, which comically backfire, with the Coyote often getting injured in slapstick fashion. Many of the items for these contrivances are mail-ordered from a variety of companies that are all named Acme Corporation.

The Acme Corporation is a fictional corporation that features prominently in the Road Runner/Wile E. Coyote animated shorts as a running gag featuring outlandish products that fail or backfire catastrophically at the worst possible times. The name is also used as a generic title in many cartoons, especially those made by Warner Bros., and films, TV series, commercials and comic strips.

The company name in the Road Runner cartoons is ironic,[1] since the word acme is derived from Greek (ακμή; English transliteration: akmē) meaning the peak, zenith or prime,[2] yet products from the fictional Acme Corporation are often generic, failure-prone, or explosive.

Love the Wyle E. Coyote allegory. Sad but true. How I loved those cartoons in my younger days! America, I think, was a better place back then, and not the crumbling empire of today.

Resident Biden and Vice-Resident Harris are appropriate. The White House must be thoroughly fumigated if it is still there in four years.

I believe we should not forget Cheney/Rumsfeld most likely took their orders from MOSSAD. As “pragmatic” as Cheney is, he is not bright enough to plan the burnt offering of 3,000 goyim on Satan’s altar of war and death. That is the work of MOSSAD, Satan’s action arm, who represents the master race who consider all others less than animals. The Zionists of Israel are still reaping the benefits of their successful – in Satan’s eyes – 9/11 operation that triggered the ongoing $2 trillion war to put control of the Mideast, with its gas and oil, in Jewish-Zionist hands.

biden isn’t going to make it all four years, but they’ll try to preserve him until after the midterms.

Vice Fraudsident Harass is enormously unpopular. After the Chauvin show trial her ugly mug might be enough to trigger badly-needed Secession.
