I just got home and saw the news that General Qasem Soleimani has been murdered along with another 5-8 people by what was initially reported as a MRL strike (Russian sources say it was a drone attack). This was bad enough. Then this:

The Telegram channel of RIA News reports that the US has claimed that it was responsible for that attack.

So far, PressTV has NOT confirmed the death of Soleimani but other media outlets have.

IF he is really dead, then the likely scenario is the following one:

BEGIN 100% SPECULATION
Trump threatened Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared that there is nothing the US could do, and just to prove him wrong, the US murdered Soleimani. Of course, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei meant that there is nothing *effective* which the US could do. He clearly did not have a cowardly assassination in mind. As for Uncle Shmuel, he now can see that he “showed the Ayatollahs” how invincible the Empire is. And to hell with the consequences (already started).
END 100% SPECULATION.

Now back to the attack itself.

Frankly, I was hoping that Trump and/or Netanyahu had enough brains NOT to claim the attack, whether they did it or not. And, sure enough, it now appears that the US did make that claim.

Now there is only one question left: can the Iranians let this murder go unpunished?

Maybe. But I can’t imagine that they will.

Next, no matter HOW the Iranians retaliate, the US will use that as a pretext to attack Iran.

Right now, it is 01:46 GMT and it is much too early to call this as many of the key facts are missing.

Still, considering the little we know I see no other option that the warn you all that we might have a war in the Middle-East literally any minute now.

I will try to scout the news for any info.

If you see anything interesting please post the info in the comments section (including the source). I ESPECIALLY need to see if the US OFFICIALLY confirms that it is behind the attack.

General Qasem Soleimani was a true hero, and he was my “Saker Man of the Year” in 2015. This is truly a major loss for all freedom loving people. May God rest his soul!

I will be back later tonight.

UPDATE1: this is all PressTV is reporting now: https://www.presstv.com/Detail/2020/01/03/615224/Hashd-Sha%E2%80%99abi-public-relations-director-killed-in-rocket-attack-on-Baghdad-airport

UPDATE2: Iraqi TV confirms the death https://www.militarytimes.com/news/your-military/2020/01/03/iraq-rockets-fired-at-baghdad-airport-7-people-killed/

UPDATE3: PressTV live confirms the death of the general https://www.presstv.com/Live

UPDATE4: The Donald just posted this on Twitter: it’s as good as any confirmation

UPDATE5: so now it is confirmed, see for yourself: https://www.rt.com/news/477354-pentagon-confirms-soleimani-killing/ (if these cretins really believe that they can “deter” Iran, they are even dumber than I thought)

UPDATE6: according to this source, this is an email from the Pentagon “At the direction of the President, the U.S. military has taken decisive defensive action to protect U.S. personnel abroad by killing Qasem Soleimani, the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force, a U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization,” the Department of Defense said in an emailed statement.

UPDATE7: seems like the US is now trying to scare the personnel of the Iranian embassy in Baghdad, see here: https://www.presstv.com/Detail/2020/01/02/615194/Iraq-United-States-helicopter-Iran-Embassy-Baghdad

TEMPORARY CONCLUSION:

ORDER IT NOW

Okay, we now know that Soleimani has indeed been murdered and that the US did it. So the key facts are all in. Now all we can do is to way for the political fallout from this assassination (both inside and outside the USA and both inside and outside Iran).

Let me state here that I do NOT believe that Russia will be involved in any way. Neither will China. Why? Because now everything hinges on the Iranian reaction. I will try to produce an analysis in the course of the day tomorrow.

If you have any relevant/interesting info, please post it in the comments section below. I will read it before I write my analysis. Right now, I would say that war is about 80% certain, with 20% left for two reasons: first, the Iranians are extremely sophisticated actors who will do nothing without first making an in-depth analysis of the situation and, second, because we still don’t have all the facts (we only have the core, key, facts).

At this point it makes not sense for me to remain on standby. I better get some sleep before tomorrow’s analysis.

Until then, I wish you all a good night/morning/day or evening.

Crucially – don’t lose hope!! I will explain tomorrow why we should not over-react to this tragic and evil event.

Can I still say “hugs and cheers”?

I will stick to “hugs” only.

It was an act of stupidity for Iran to not have acquired nuclear weapons yet. It’s time to dump the Khomeini fatwa prohibiting nuclear weapon development. It’s essential that Iran, and, indeed, every other nation that isn’t an Amerikastani colony immediately secure its own nuclear arsenal.

In the short term Iran should immediately give Russia military bases. Russian aircraft flying over Tehran would deflate some hards-on in Warshington.

Based on what I’ve read, the Iranians will have no choice but to retaliate. To do nothing would invite further attacks. I’m not sure what they’ll do, but it will have to involve casualties. That fool Trump and his Zionist / maga-retard / Conservatism Inc. fan base have gone too far this time.

But what options do the Iranians really have?

Option 1: Do nothing and hope that war is averted. Downside: this invites further attacks over the long-term.

Option 2: Terrorist attack on US forces or an embassy somewhere. Downside: mass casualties makes Iran look bad and takes the blame off the US while giving them the excuse to escalate.

Option 3: Attack Saudi oil facilities. Downside: this isn’t proportionate to what Trump did and would be construed as weakness.

Option 4: Assassinate a US military officer in the Middle East. This is proportionate but could also lead to strengthening Trump’s political situation domestically.

Option 5: Humiliate Trump personally without escalating militarily. This means assassinating someone close to him like his lawyer, Alan Dershowitz; a prominent GOP / Trump donor like Sheldon Adelson would also be a prime target. I don’t think the democrats will be demanding war should Iran take this path, which makes it an attractive option for revenge. It could humiliate Trump while making it difficult for him to retaliate. No one in the US wants to go to war over Sheldon Adelson.

I support this. If one looks at the global geopolitical chessboard, Washington is clearly trying to seize all the world’s petroleum producing regions. They tried overthrowing Venezuela’s government last year, which is a major oil-producing country. There are other examples, too. Iran is just the latest. I personally don’t see how either the Chinese or the Russians can just let this happen. A way to possibly prevent this is to strike a deal with Iran to house Chinese or Russian troops, aircraft, and ships. I don’t know what the prospect of this is, though. Has this thought never occurred to China, Russia or Iran? Maybe Iran is too prideful. Maybe Russia lacks the resources. Maybe China believes it can continue slowly gathering power. Won’t do any good though if all the world’s resources are under military occupation of your chief rival. At some point they will have to do something. Maybe Russia could gift the Iranians the s-400 to deter attack?

What is your opinion on the assassination of Qasem Soleimani? What’s going to happen next?

Well, it’s extremely worrisome. Going around assassinating the top generals of other major countries around the world seems a pretty dangerous thing to do, which is why it doesn’t happen very often. It brings to mind an analogy I’ve made on several occasions, most recently about a year ago when we kidnapped the CFO of Huawei, the world’s largest telecom manufacturer and China’s most important international corporation:

Or to apply a far harsher biological metaphor, consider a poor canine infected with the rabies virus. The virus may have no brain and its body-weight is probably less than one-millionth that of the host, but once it has seized control of the central nervous system, the animal, big brain and all, becomes a helpless puppet.

Once friendly Fido runs around foaming at the mouth, barking at the sky, and trying to bite all the other animals it can reach. Its friends and relatives are saddened by its plight but stay well clear, hoping to avoid infection before the inevitable happens, and poor Fido finally collapses dead in a heap.

The assassination of the late Sulaimani and Al Muhandiss occurred in a context where the Iraqi Parliament was about to congregate to issue a decree repelling and making US occupation of Iraq illegal.

The political significance of this assassination therefore goes far beyond the elimination of these military commanders; it was a strategic decision that would have been made at the highest levels of US politico-military command.

That was such an utterly idiotic thing to do. Now I bet US military bases all over the world will need to take additional protective measures and American military personnel from those enclaves will piss themselves with fright every time they have to leave the protection of those walls. What Trump did with that assassination was to put a target on the backs of all service members living abroad. Even if Iran does nothing, this attack is already costing us tens of millions of dollars.

US presidents always use foreign policy to shore up their support for domestic elections, I suspect Trump did the same and is expecting some type of retaliation from Iran so he can blast them to help him win his reelection. I am very glad China is about to overtake the US financially, we need a world leader that doesn’t behave like a psychopathic thug for a change. I saw a video of Iraqis dancing and waving Iraqi flags after the news of his death.

Don’t put too much stock in that. During the 2003 invasion of Iraq, the US military staged a photograph of Iraqis celebrating the downfall of Hussein’s statue. They flew in people associated with the Iraqi National Congress just to stage the photop, and then they cropped the picture to make it look like a huge crowd of people were participating.

Suleimani was an over rated general and during the war with Iraq ,forces under his commnd suffered terrible losses.

Suleimani was one of only 89 people to participate in every major battle of the Iran-Iraq War; Iraq was funded and supported by the US the whole time. His accomplishments were pretty good considering the chaos after the revolution. They suffered terrible losses due to American equipment and disorganization caused by the revolution … but the guy fought on like a beast and prevailed. No loser American general can same the same. Most of them are either girls or transexuals. None of them have seen equivalent combat or demonstrated equivalent courage.

His only achievement was creating that sectarian umbrela of sectarian terror in Iraq and at the end he paid with his life for it.

He was instrumental in training the militias that bloodied your nose in Iraq. He also helped defeat American efforts to overthrow Syria’s government through backing sectarian terrorists. Pretty soon, some Americans will be paying for their murderous adventurism with their lives. I won’t be shedding any tears.

Americans are a very insecure nation and people. They know that the only field they really excel in as a nation is military and warmongering and they become increasingly agitated if there hasn’t been a big war for a while. For the sake of the argument, let’s say the Iranians possessed nuclear weapons and the necessary delivery system. How would that change the situation? Do you propose the killing of one individual, however heroic and important, is a reasonable trigger to commit national suicide?

After killing however many Sunnis it is now preparing the ground for the slaughter of Shiites too, its supposed darlings when Saddam was gassing them.

The assassination of General Sulaimani, a foremost figure within the Axis of the Resistance, is akin to a declaration of war to Iran.

It comes as a consequence of the rising pressure exerted over the past months by Israeli politico-military circles on their US ally to confront Iran, which they considers an existential threat, and it is a decision the US may not have been fully prepared to make yet.

  39. Several responses Iran might consider:

    1. As one commenter has suggested, S-400. ME countries can no longer leave their airspace open to a trigger-happy Cat Ballou.

    2. Does Russia have an export version of Kinzhal? Might make enemy vessels think twice about coming close.

    3. Russia has a variety of missile systems, electronic countermeasures, and counter-drones that can take down drones.

Russia, China, and Iran just finished a major joint sea exercise, with planned follow-ups. Russia, I expect, would counsel restraint, with a view to the long-term. Would not be surprised if a major defense deal is announced soon.

  40. Sean says:

I don’t think public opinion in Iran would allow their leadership to take the side of an infidel country. Iranians support their country’s defiance of America, but that does not mean they are keen on Russia.

This all was started by the joint Israeli and zionist ZUS traitors attack on the WTC on 911 to be blamed on Muslims and give the ZUS the excuse to destroy the mideast for greater Israel.

What was General Qasem Suleimani doing in Iraq?

Butchering unarmed protesters was apparently his #1 mission. Also, arranging an embassy attack in violation of International Law. Clearly Iran needs to go on trial for this war crime, but not a peep out of the ICC. Could they be biased? Shocking!

The last thing that Iraq needs is to be dragged into another fight. The effort to push Iran out of the country is quite popular. (1)

A TV correspondent from Alhurrra News noted that some Iraqis were baking cakes to thank President Trump. …

Sulaimani was reportedly responsible for ordering the quelling of Iraqi protests resulting in hundreds of deaths and injured protesters.

The weak Ayatollah now looks even weaker. Hopefully the Iranian people will take the opportunity to get rid of him.

    World News
    October 11, 2019 / 8:23 AM / 3 months ago
U.S. says deploying more forces to Saudi Arabia to counter Iran threat

The large deployment, which was first reported by Reuters, includes fighter squadrons, an air expeditionary wing and air defense personnel, the Pentagon said. Together with the 200 forces to Saudi Arabia announced last month, the deployment totaled about 3,000 troops, it said.

Also, did you see the news that US Marines went out into Baghdad to arrest a top Iraqi member of parliament. This is how the USA treated its puppet governments of South Vietnam.

I assumed that Trump would wait until after the elections to start a war. Perhaps he is confident since the Democrats flubbed the impeachment and have no good candidate. Remember that the destruction of Iran has always been the finale for the fake “War on Terror” clearly explained a decade ago by US General Wes Clark:

The US is a mixed race cesspit that has been inflicting BLACK terror on the world through its heavily non-white military for decades, and most white Americans are proud of the fact. I hope Iran does smash the US empire, it will be well deserved.

Americans are only too happy to use BLACK terror as a weapon against other nations, so it’s difficult to have much sympathy when it gets used against them. The US has nothing to offer the world but destruction and a raceless dystopia, and more and more people are realising this. The British are also very keen to tag along with America, especially with the overwhelming victory of US lackey Boris Johnson and frankly deserve the same fate.

Consider, that over the past year or two or more Israeli partisans have effected laws criminalizing any and every “threat” or thought or speech or, of course act of violence against Jewish people.

In the context of the Monsey machete attacks, New York police and FBI officials announced that Jewish people/places should receive extra, long-term, and undercover police and security protection; and that persons accused of planning or carrying out such attacks should be “held for extended observation” if deemed mentally ill, and punished with extensive prison sentences if convicted of crimes against Jews.

Yesterday I learned that US Congress will vote on legislation making such speech or acts an act of DOMESTIC terrorism, in the same category as INTERNATIONAL terrorism.

Can’t help thinking of Ernst vom Rath, the German diplomat killed by Herschel Grynszpan in what was (to my mind) a set-up operation. At least Grynszpan had “the courage of the blood” — he killed face-to-face, not like a coward who kills by drone.
That assassination instigated Kristallnacht — also pre-meditated; many Jews call Kristallnacht “the first step on the ‘crooked road to Auschwitz.’ ”

This morning on C Span Washington Journal a caller that I’d bet Ron’s entire fortune 😜 was Benjamin Ginsberg,
    https://www.c-span.org/video/?467768-2/washington-journal-news-headlines-viewer-calls&playEvent
    @ 58 min:

CALLER: Let me just point out that when there is no alternative, acts of war are sometimes necessary to foster peace. If we had not used atomic bombs against Japan, that conflict would have been much more drawn out and resulted in the deaths of possibly hundreds of thousands more American servicemen.
John McArdle: Do you think there was no alternative here?
    CALLER: Yes.
    McArdle: Why is that?
CALLER: Alternative to war, you mean?
McArdle: Why do you think there is no alternative to the airstrike yesterday?
    [here’s the money quote:]
CALLER: I don’t know about that airstrike in particular, I’m talking about war in general. I think it is an inevitability with the current regime in place.
McArdle: That was Louis in Randallstown, MD.

    Here’s Benjamin Ginsberg:
Ginsberg’s books reveal his weltanschauung and also the function he serves in the war machine and in particular for the Jewish people / zionist project:
The thesis of Ginsberg’s The Worth of War is that

“Although war is terrible and brutal, history shows that it has been a great driver of human progress . . . and a benefit to civilization. . . .War selects for and promotes certain features of societies that are generally held to represent progress. These include rationality, technological and economic development, and liberal forms of government.”

Ginsberg claims that “non-violence is a fantasy,” using the example of Martin Luther King, whose non-violent protests were actually provocations crafted to goad the Target to react intemperately, at which point the seemingly weak MLK would call upon his far more powerful friends to confront and vanquish the Target.

Ginsberg has also written on “the deep state” — tho not in so many words — in What Washington Gets Wrong: The Unelected Officials Who Actually Run the Government and Their Misconceptions about the American People. The title explains the book’s thesis. Vindeman’s testimony exemplified the thesis.

Finally, in 2013 Ginsberg published How the Jews Defeated Hitler, an hagiographic exposé of the ways that Jewish persons of influence produced propaganda to provoke, sustain, finance, and execute war against Germany, including significant collaboration with Stalin’s Communist Russia.

Ginsberg’s role in the Is it good for the Jews? machine is that of the seemingly benign “good Jew,” who is actually a limited hangout mouthpiece —

“When their veil of secrecy is shredded and they can no longer rely on a phony cover story to misinform the public, [the limited hangout] resorts to admitting—sometimes even volunteering—some of the truth while still managing to withhold the key and damaging facts in the case. The public, however, is usually so intrigued by the new information that it never thinks to pursue the matter further.”

That Ginsberg called C Span to advocate for war to topple Iran’s leadership should be understood by the American people as the Jewish-zionist declaration of war, because “it is good for the Jews.”

At a meeting in Moscow in July [2015], a top Iranian general unfurled a map of Syria to explain to his Russian hosts how a series of defeats for President Bashar al-Assad could be turned into victory – with Russia’s help.

Major General Qassem Soleimani’s visit to Moscow was the first step in planning for a Russian military intervention that has reshaped the Syrian war and forged a new Iranian-Russian alliance in support of Assad.

Soleimani has helped lead Iran’s efforts to fight armed insurgents in Syria and neighbouring Iraq and reports directly to the Islamic Republic’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

  104. Israel has pretty well been given control of portions of the US military in addition to major parts of Palestine.

This is classic Israeli extrajudicial killing, an Israeli practice for over seventy years, but now America takes responsibility on its behalf.

Just like the Neocon Wars, all for Israel’s benefit and all done so that Israel does not have to take direct blame for the immense violence it generates in the region.

I suspect Iran will take its time and carefully plan a response, and that response may not be clear and unambiguous.

I do not believe Iran will be driven to war – that would be playing the Israeli-American game with Israeli-American rules – but new clandestine and hybrid efforts.

That is what they are best at. They have serious abilities these days, and the United States, with all its bases abroad, has great vulnerabilities.

Of course, there’s the option of just leaving the nuclear agreement and proceeding with weapons development.

Maybe there is some possibility for covert assistance from North Korea?

Saker, my notion is that Iran should adhere to its moral principles by not developing nuclear weapons in response but instead focus on bestowing great public honors on the late General Qasem Soleimani. Every way the murdering terrorist state looks it should be confronted by his importance and its own lack of importance.

So, everything Uncle Shmuel wants to say to Iran must begin with Uncle Shmuel speaking in honor of the General and apologizing for murdering him, or everything the murderer says after that has legally not been said and is ignored. A precondition for any discussion between the murder state and Iran for the next 20 years will be the murderer state beginning everything it says with that apology.

Still, joint exercises with Russia and China like the recent naval exercise should be developed further.

Announce that in retaliation, they will start to bump off selected individuals, starting with Ghislaine Maxwell and Col. Vindman.

They can work their way through the list of Yiddish infiltrators, assassinating one a day. The US public will rise up and thank them.

  114. In light of Trump’s recent act of war, I think I know what the impeachment scam was all about.

I’m leaning toward the view that it was an effort to gauge Trump’s chances at being re-elected. Perhaps our rulers wanted to see if the peasants would rally around their embattled MAGA hero if they could present him as the hapless victim of the even-more-evil “democrats”; and if so, his re-election “campaign strategy” could then be crafted around his apparent “victimhood” (since he has nothing good to campaign on).

Apparently the experiment is now over, and the result was that the favorite son-of-perdition would likely not be re-elected, thus he has one year to start the war on Iran, and he is wasting no time getting on with it.

  115. Tulip says:

If there is war, odds are that Iran gets stomped (Saker notwithstanding). Doesn’t seem to be any reason Russia or China would stick their necks out at this time. Iran has to find a way to save face but not ignite a war. A war would be unpleasant for the American side, but would likely end in the Iranian government falling and Iran becoming another failed state. In the long term, probably bad for the world and the American Order, but the American foreign policy establishment seems blind to that reality. Certainly, no one seems to complain about wrecking Iraq.

Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of options to save face, and Iran is diplomatically pretty isolated. It is as if Trump were trying to say to Khamenei “there isn’t anything you can do to me”.

It would be insane and the dancing Israelis would not have been memory-holed like they were in 2001.

The next false flag will likely by a Gulf of Tonkin style incident far-away from the mainland where very few people can ascertain facts. I don’t think they will even have to carry out a false flag operation, they will more likely just keep encircling and provoking Iran into doing something.

Three days of mourning is fine. Just hope that Israel/USA don’t bomb again during that time. Should also give time for the Iraqi parliament to order the Americans to leave – which they’ll ignore. But after the period of mourning Iran had better be prepared to act quickly and ruthlessly. Putin’s “turn the other cheek” strategy has failed completely – just as Paul Craig Roberts predicted it would. Iran needs to recognize that war is inevitable, therefore it is best that they take the initiative. Trump has shown that he is a bold war gamer. Therefore Iran can’t wait for a “shock and awe” major strike that knocks out much of Iran’s ability to strike back. That’s likely Israel/USA’s next move.

America’s Achilles’ heel is the global economy. Iran and it’s allies must hit the Israelis, Americans and Saudis with everything the beginning of next week. Cripple the western economies with a blitzkrieg then wait and see how America’s 350 million spoiled brats react to an economic collapse.

Sorry if this all sounds too barbaric. One must realize that in Washington and Tel Aviv we’re dealing with Nazis, straight out of 1945. Plus after 20 years of endless wars, one must conclude that nearly all westerners have no conscience. They’ve been quite comfortable living with endless war. The only option left to end this insanity is to hurt them. It’d be nice if one could count on China and Russia for support, however you can’t. Iran’s been alone before so they are used to it.

To sit back and wait to see what Israel/USA does next, and hoping it backs off, is foolish. To retaliate in any minor way will produce a freak out response from the western media and Israel/USA. Therefore the retaliation might as well be significant. This is now an existential fight between Iran and Israel. Only one shall survive. It won’t be Iran if they choose to wait until the second quarter to start the war. Time to hurt them as much as you can and pray that Allah will see you through it.

An “Iranian sleeper cell” ruse is making the rounds now. If people buy into it, it gives Israel options for their own Mossad sleeper cells, complete with nuclear weapons stored in Israeli embassies.
The Israeli embassy in New York exhibited a stunning spike in radiation during a 2006 – 7 scan of the city for radioactive hot spots and was by far the most radioactive location in New York. Obviously there was no further investigation into this so-called “anomaly”. The Israeli embassy there came up #1 by an enormous margin, being remarkably hotter than anywhere else in the city and there’s only one way that could happen. The only “liberation” done by the US during the Second World War was liberating hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of French, Belgian, Dutch, Italian and German people of their lives, their property, their culture, their dignity and their nation’s sovereignty.

In retrospect, the destruction of Monte Cassino- arguably the birthplace of Christian Europe- at the hands of the US Army was a symbolic act of horrendous vandalism. What do people here think of doing all that we can to create a counter program, something along the lines of No Place for Deception and hidden Supremacism (obviously a better name will be found, but you get the idea) run by the NOI? Challenges are:
    1) We would have to convince the NOI to do it.
    2) We would have to help them fund it.
    3) NOI would have to develop a program (but my God they’ve already got the materials) and the hardest part
    4) We would have a serious challenge getting them accepted by schools.
As for number 4 – I think it’s doable. AND I think the battle to get them into the schools would be as educational as their programs themselves.
As a New Year’s resolution, I am going to try to figure out who to contact locally, but I bet that some folks here would be far more effective at getting this off the ground.

And don’t forget to include the treasonous and ridiculous “Lord” Polak and the likes and their pretentious and obnoxious plebeian progeny, all preferring to live away from Israel, of course.

Unlike the noble Persia, there is no history of Jewish statehood (apart from the history of terrorism committed by the current upstart Israel), no Jewish art, no Jewish literature, no Jewish architecture. But, as a grumpy, arthritic 72-year-old Army Vet, I cannot get too worked up. In 1969, I had four choices: Enlist, get drafted, go to Canada, or go to prison. I enlisted, since I was still of the “…kill a commie for mommie” mindset. After I was kicked out of Infantry OCS in 1970, Nixon was not sending any more cannon fodder to VN, so I ended up a MP stateside.
My point is we have had an all-volunteer military since the mid-seventies. NO ONE has held a gun at any youngster’s back and threatened them for not signing their lives away. It is regrettable the young have to choose this option in order to get money for higher education, etc. But, when you sign on the dotted line, you become the Leviathan’s property. Shame on their parents and other family members for not indoctrinating them about this sad fact.

very subtle distortion of history as there is no way the Japs could ever invade America

About as subtle as a freight train crashing through one’s house. Of course, it says a lot about most Americans that even such an obvious lie is imperceptible to them.

What the Japanese did contemplate was the invasion and temporary occupation of Hawaii. This had been planned for the Pearl Harbor attack, but was scrapped. They went as far as drawing up drafts of a temporary colonial administration in Hawaii and even scenarios in which the islands would be reverted to American control. The idea was to use them as leverage in making the US understand that East Asia was Japan’s concern alone.

Despite Philip K. Dick and the phantastical propagandizing of postwar American textbooks, Japan never intended to invade the US. Even had they wanted to, they knew they were at least a decade away from being able to project that sort of strength.

And we are now looking at another even more catastrophic war. It is unbelievable

The problem with the Anglo-American mindset, now under the control of the parasite, is that everything is immediate reaction. In places like Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan time is measured in centuries not hours. Afghanistan is a perfect example of the brain dead thinking. While the British had success in attaining certain targets in Afghanistan during the 19th century, and all three countries were converted religiously, there hasn’t been a successful invasion since Alexander the Great, and even that didn’t last long.
There will be an Iranian response, but it will be at their time and choosing. Maybe today, maybe next week, or maybe in 5 years. It will be well thought out and will be effective.

Qasem Soleimani was an Iranian soldier. He lived by the sword and died by the sword. He met a soldier’s destiny. It is being said that he was a BAD MAN. Absurd! To say that he was a BAD MAN because he fought us as well as the Sunni jihadis is simply infantile. Were all those who fought the US BAD MEN? How about Gentleman Johhny Burgoyne? Was he a BAD MAN? How about Sitting Bull? Was he a BAD MAN? How about Aguinaldo? Another BAD MAN? Let us not be juvenile.
The Iraqi PMU commander who died with Soleimani was Abu Mahdi al Muhandis. He was a member of a Shia militia that had been integrated into the Iraqi armed forces. IOW, we killed an Iraqi general. We killed him without the authorization of the supposedly sovereign state of Iraq.

We created the present government of Iraq through the farcical “purple thumb” elections. That government holds a seat in the UN General Assembly and is a sovereign entity in international law in spite of Trump’s tweet today that said among other things that we have “paid” Iraq billions of US dollars. To the Arabs, this statement that brands them as hirelings of the US is close to the ultimate in insult
Somehow the Ziocons around Trump have forgotten that the present state of Iraq refused to yield to Obama’s demands for a SOFA and in effect expelled the US from the country.”

The information given on Lebanese TV channel “Al Mayadeen” is that the late Soleimani used a different way of travelling to Baghdad than he usually did, that nobody except Al Muhandiss knew about his arrival, and that the security detail was present and specific.

Details of the strike that killed both is that it was delivered from a military aircraft, not a drone.

Being given the increased instability Iraq has been in over the past weeks, it may be that safer routes usually used had become impracticable. Qasem Soleimani had been present in Iraq since 2014, as he was the key military strategist who prevented Baghdad from falling to “Isis”.

As usual, Iran will take its time and maybe years before they do anything but the plans will definitely be in motion.

This is if they’re given the time. The US is an aggressive predator and works according to its own timetable for the destruction of Iran, or any country they put in their sights. First they wait for the sanctions they impose to bite, then they strike. That’s the only thing that’s “usual”. Nothing will stop those who have murdered millions of innocent civilians all over the world in their wars. It’s just how much damage anyone confronting them can do to them and their interests. The greater the damage to US and the more of their own soldiers killed the better, and hopefully the Middle East will be the graveyard of the US and its colony Israel – if not in this war and this year, then the next, or the one after. That’s all any decent person can wish for this, or any New Year. Make no mistake, Iran is going down; it’s just how many Yanks and their stooges it can, and should, take down, to make it easier for whoever takes them on next to clear them out of that region altogether. Or they’ll just leave when there’s nothing more for them there after they’ve destroyed everything, since Yanks are like termites.

With all due respect I do have to disagree. Iran is no Iraq. Iraq and to the large extent Syria are flatland’s..Iran has many mountain ranges. These are serious obstacles for advancing army. Passes can be mined and on sides of the mountains armed units can be placed.
Iranian army is well armed. In my opinion invasion of Iran is simply out of question.
    US losses would be tremendous.
US can bomb the Iran but also there many planes would be shot down.
In my opinion all US can do is send all their cruise missiles, But than population can disperse in the mountains. So the best US can do is destroy the Iranian infrastructure
So all US can do is damage. Probably large.
But than Iran can do some damage to US with their missiles Probably not great.

They destroyed Libya without an invasion. Iran has more proxies in the region than Saddam did although less support in the general muslim population considering that Sunnis hate the Shiites. If they can do as much damage as Saddam did in the first Gulf war that’d be something at least, but if they try hard enough, and with Shiites in Iraq, Lebanon, and Yemen behind them, they can probably do a lot more. Hopefully the cost of American warmongering will get higher each time.

  251. @Ilyana_Rozumova

    Ma’am you are absolutely correct.

Also, the old adage “what if they declared a war and nobody showed up”. There would be no possibility of war with Iran without a draft and young people would not agree to this.

To truly test the degree of patriotism young people feel, have a draft. When 90% of everyone either gets a medical note saying they have “flat arches” or whatever, you know that the government is not much loved.

Also, Trump is aware that oil prices will rise 600%. Saudi is theoretically an ally but will do nothing to stop this. The US cannot afford another war anyhow. Afghanistan already bankrupted it.

And does Europe really want 5,000,000 more refugees? Where are they going to put them. Are they going to force Germans to allow Muslims to live with each family? So Europe is not going to support that war.

Good luck with a ground war with Iran.

There is irrefutable, scientific research proving that the WTC’s were taken down by nanothermitic charges, which were both incendiary and explosive. Nano-technology is a much higher and much more advanced technology than nukes. That scientific research has been available online since 2007. The names Stephen Jones and Neils Harritt are all you need to know about WTC demolition.

Nobody at VT has anything close to their credentials.

With nukes you will always have fission products which are easily detectable for years and years and years. No fission products have ever been found in NYC. Yet these VT guys just keep on insisting that nukes were used in NYC. The guys at VT don’t do science. They blog.

I have told the VT group of disinformationists numerous times about how stupid they are and yet they persist. They simply don’t care. The trouble with a lot of these young men is they simply lack world experience and/or knowledge. Most guys going in the military are little more than kids ranging in age from 18 to their early 20’s. When I went through boot camp way back in the 80’s the two oldest guys in our company were 26 years of age. Most were in the 20-22 years of age range with a few even younger.

Another poster mentioned the recent war movies and the war movies that came out before 9-11. WOW. What a COHENcidence. My two sons weren’t about to join the military, I had already seen through the bullsh*t by the time they came of age and thankfully with perhaps my persuasion and them having more lucrative opportunities they steered clear of signing up. Both came of age in the early part of this century so it also helped that we had already become involved in these wars. I doubt my brother or I would have joined up if a war would have been going on at the time, nor would most of my friends.

I remember when 9-11 occurred and you had morons like singer Toby Keith taking the opportunity to $how his patrioti$m by churning out some totally infantile and moronic pro-war songs for his Zionist masters that run the music industry. I’m sure there were others in the country music industry and maybe even some other genres that jumped on the ca$h wagon. America cannot win a conventional war with Iran. That is the hard and and inflexible truth. Anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding himself and is grossly overestimating American military capabilities.
Her only option is to use nuclear weapons which in turn would bring nuclear devastation in America. So that is out of the question.

The Iranians have advanced Russian air defense systems and electronic countermeasures which make the airspace above Iran a no-fly zone for American or Israeli aircraft. They would have to fly far from that airspace and fire their subsonic cruise missiles into Iranian airspace, which would be taken down fairly easily by the TORs and Iranian short range defensive missiles. When the Americans, the British and the French fired their subsonic cruise missiles at Syria 71 out of 103 did not reach their targets and those that did caused no casualties. In fact, there were no casualties at all. The subsonic cruise missile is useless against a competent military opponent armed with advanced defensive military equipment. In fact, one could say that it is an anachronism. So much for the Tomahawk.

So an air assault would be ineffective. As soon as the cruise missiles are launched against Iran the bases from which they were launched would be struck by Iranian ballistic missiles and cruise missiles most or some of which would be supersonic, making it nearly impossible to destroy them before they hit their targets.

The American Fifth Fleet according to my information is some 400 miles from the Persian Gulf, out of range of Iran’s antiship cruise missiles. So that fleet is not to be taken as a serious factor in any war with Iran. If however it gets close enough to Iran so that its aircraft get withing range of Iranian airspace, it would be struck with dozens it not scores of antiship cruise which would result in its total destruction. The Aegis defensive system aboard the fleet is useless against supersonic cruise missiles and probably effective against subsonic ones, but not if they are fired en masse at a particular ship. The Aegis cannot handle a mass attack of subsonic cruise missiles.

Finally, the only remaining option is a ground invasion of Iran which would require a 3 million man army and the return of the draft. That is a non-starter.

Every time the Pentagon wargames a war with Iran, it comes out the loser. For those of you who doubt that, Google “Millennium Challenge 2002”.

And even though the German body did recover for awhile, its soul has been killed. Body without a soul will die, and German body is dying.

In contrast, undefeated Great Britain has been in constant decline since the late 19th century. It tries to get its antiquated special interest ridden society to function in the modern world, same in US (since the 1970’s) with its own takeover by special interests.

    Americans demand no such thing.

    Yes! Thank you, kind sir!

That is the war game that I recall. It was classified, so I am uncertain how it got published. I am sure the Iranians have studied this in great detail – hence their confidence that they could take on US/Israel. In that war game, I recall that *ALL* the US ships were sunk by swarms of “suicide boats”, including ships that were 5 years away from being built!

Those who believe that wars are cake-walks because you have superior technology should study this war game. Maybe they will be less enthusiastic about sending our children to fight for Israel.

I admire that retired Marine general. He follows in the tradition of another great Marine general who admonished us about how war is a racket. Here’s saluting you general Butler!

    Thanks for the interesting reply.

The problem is the US has experienced total defeat. Anglo-American elites totally cucked to the Jews. They’ve accepted Jewish Supremacist Power as the new masters of America. They’ve succumbed to Jewish-promoted globo-homo queertianity as new christianity. They offer their daughters to negro men and celebrate Diversity(or white replacement) as the best thing.

Anglos as a racial group lack identity and organization. It’s gone so far that they now even non-identify, and try to negate it – which is in fact suicide.

This isn’t really true. Once Cold War got started, the US aided the Japanese Business Right to turn the nation into essentially a one-party dictatorship. And this soulless business class turned Japan into the bloodless and sterile Japan that is today. A nation of porn and demographic suicide. And even though the German body did recover for awhile, its soul has been killed. Body without a soul will die, and German body is dying.

At least Germany and Japan had the chance of a fresh start with their entrenched special interests removed. Hitler destroyed the Jewish dominance of Weimar, and chased the Jews out of the German speaking world (plus German occupied Eastern Europe – with the new destination being the USA). He also crushed the German aristocracy. Post 1945 organized Jewry couldn’t regain power in Germany and Eastern Europe because there were so few of them left. Stalin did scour his Gulags to build a cadre of Polish Jewish Bolsheviks that he introduced as a new Polish elite but they were greatly disliked and gone by the 1960’s.

Current Jewish influence in Germany and Japan is exercised indirectly through the US using international treaties, neo-liberalism and (in Germany) a controlled media (ref. Udo Ulfkote “Bought Journalists: How Politicians, Intelligence Agencies and High Finance Control Germany’s Mass Media”). There’s a possibility of escape by disconnecting from the US, which in fact seems to be happening across Europe – other than the UK.

UK is in bad straits but no worse than Sweden, Germany, France, and etc.
What Jews understand is that modernity without roots in culture and history is alienating and atomizing. This is why Jews combine modernity with identity. But as Jews urge only modernity on others, those that take the pill die.

The UK is escaping from the EU just as the EU is starting to break up. The UK public live in a strange time-warp where Americans are 1945 style Yanks (their best friends) and Trump is a British national hero. Read the Daily Mail comments and they’re all in with the US, for example cheering on an Iran war. The UK is a terminal case, but Europe may recover.

    1. First and foremost, all Jewish Americans from ages 18 up to 45 years of age.

    2. Second. All Christian Zionist ministers, preachers, priests, etc., and their children over the age of 18 if applicable.

    3. All politicians in Washington, D.C. and/or their family members over the age of 18. The politician can elect whether he or she wants to go off and fight, or stay back and serve America in Washington, while sending a family member in his or her place. This of course excludes politicians who are against these wars like Tulsi Gabbard for example.

    4. All students of Ivy League colleges and/or universities and other universities across the nation.

*The groups given the most consideration and special privileges to be exempt from the draft are the poor, the working class, with poor or working class White Southerners and White Midwestern males having the most privileges, options, and choices.

The probable financial collapse and ensuing international collapse would only hasten it on. (Regime change starts at home!)

Your post has no sense except as a display of moral relativism.

You are not able to appreciate valor in others (like Soleimani) and don’t expect valor from yourself.

You have a lot of harsh words for Muslims yet zero critiques for Israel-firsters and the “local” traitors like Cheney — as if the ongoing conflict between the west and the Middle East is a total responsibility of the natives living in the Middle East.

The Chinese have not arranged the Wars for Greater China on the US dime & limb; it was a different state (a midget both by size and morally), which emissaries have arranged the Wars of Aggression for Eretz Israel. You obviously don’t have children who came back home from the Middle Eastern wars only to kill themselves. “We lost more than 60,000 veterans to suicide over 10 years.” https://www.militarytimes.com/news/pentagon-congress/2019/10/09/new-veteran-suicide-numbers-raise-concerns-among-experts-hoping-for-positive-news/

Exactly. They took an oath “to support and defend the U.S. constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic” or something like that.

If they were true to their oath they would not carry out Trump’s illegal, unconstitutional and immoral orders which clearly risk WW3 and the potential destruction of their own country.

(they wouldn’t be of much use in such a local conflict anyway (possibly of no use)

the only countries in this situation that envisage use of nuclear weapons would be Israel and its little proxy, ie the US. (but mainly Israel)

I agree in principle that illegal orders must not be obeyed, but there is a “Catch-22”.
Who does one complain to if the higher-ups insist on imposing illegal orders?

Up to the rank of Colonel (full bird) and generally all enlisted personnel, the military is relatively honest.

It is “flag officers” (generals) who are the problem, as they are more akin to politicians than professional military personnel.

The same situation exists on a smaller level with most police chiefs being more like politicians than being a part of a police department.

This is why sheriffs should be the chief “law enforcement officer” of each respective county and should have powers beyond that of any police chief of any jurisdiction.

Complaining never solved anything. What’s the worst that could happen to, say, 2000 members of the armed forces if they, all at once, said, “We won’t go”? Who’s going to arrest 2000 soldiers? Are there enough cells to hold them all?

If there’s going to be a shakeup, it’ll have to come from the personnel at the bottom, not the top, who, as you say, are more like politicians.

Says who? I worked with a Q for over 20 years estimating the consequences of nuclear accidents. You’re flat out wrong in claiming “you will always have fission products for years and years and years.” Was it some talking head on TV once a long time ago talking about the horrors of nuclear war? Or was it from the Godzilla movies?

Have you heard of Ronald Reagan’s “neutron bomb”? Modern nuclear explosives minimize long-term fission products in a number of ways with all of that technology remaining classified SRD.

EPA published their measurements of the various elements in samples which were taken near WTC in late 2001 and maybe also 2002. They were blocked internally from reporting the isotopic fractions, but you can see how much strontium versus barium and tellurium versus ruthenium, which they measured. I heard from a friend who worked at Research Triangle Park that they were prohibited from measuring radioactivity.

I don’t have all those reports handy but it’s easy enough to find under the title World Trade Center (WTC) Dust Screening Method Study. Tables and tables of measurements element by element.

P.S. By credentials you mean the letters PhD? We used to say that meant Piled Higher and Deeper.
