I have to admit that before I sat down to write this column I had some misgivings: I thought “not another article warning about a potential explosion in the Ukraine! Not again!”. And yet, events on the ground are what they are and ignoring them under the pretext that I am fed up “crying wolf” again and again is not a wise solution either. I will try to keep it short though. First, let me provide you a quick summary of what has been happening in the Ukraine since my last column about the Ukraine on June 28th.

As most of you know, NATO and the Ukraine have been conducting maneuvers on the Black Sea, air and land called “Sea Breeze”. This is nothing new, but this year these maneuvers attracted more countries than usual, as you can see for yourself.

Officially, 32 countries from six continents providing 5,000 troops, 32 ships, 40 aircraft, and 18 special operations and dive teams are participating in this exercise: Albania, Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, France, Georgia, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Morocco, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Senegal, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States. Kristina Kvien, the chargé d’affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, declared that “USS Ross‘ participation in this year’s Sea Breeze maritime exercise is a tangible demonstration of U.S. support for Ukraine and is necessary now more than ever (…) it is part of the enduring commitment that the United States and our NATO Allied and partner nations have made since 1997 to enhance maritime security in the Black Sea”.

Now here are a few examples of what the Ukies are saying:

  • Let’s see if the accursed Mokal’s will dare to shoot at the Ross which (at least according to the Ukies) can sink the entire Russian Black Sea Fleet with one salvo of its super-dooper Tomahawk missiles.
  • The Ukraine now has missiles which can bring down the bridge over the Kerch Strait.
  • The USA is delivering us fast attack boats while Turkey is giving us Bairaktar drones – with those we will liberate Crimea and the Donbass from the accused Moskal’.
  • The Ukrainian military is now the best in Europe (in fact, it protects the entire EU from assaults by the Russian hordes) and it will make minced meat of the Russians for sure the next time around.
  • In their current format, the Minsk Agreements are dead and we will never implement them. If the Moskal’ refuse to amend them then we also have a plan B: to build a big wall and totally cut all our ties with Russia. Either that, or we will liberate Crimea and the Donbass manu militari!
  • The next time the accursed Moskal’ try to prevent a Ukie vessel from traversing the Kerch Strait we will sink any force trying to stop us.

Keep in mind that all TV channels which are not controlled by Ze have now been banned. The Ukie Rada passed a law declaring that Russians are not native to the Ukraine (makes me wonder where they came from, outer space I suppose). All the main leaders of the rather uninspiring opposition are constantly harassed or even kept under house arrest. All this is to say that the insane examples of what the Ukronazis are saying above is not some minority of hardcore delusional Ukronazis – this is what many of the members of the party of Ze (and others!) are openly saying 24/7.

Now, let’s cut to the chase and see what is really going on!

Party Official position
Official White House We want to contain Russia, maintain a dialog where it is in the interests of the USA and we will defend our friends and values in the region and the whole world
US/NAT/EU officials We will resist any Russian provocation or use of force, we have the means to force Russia to renounce her plans to rebuild the Soviet Union.
Ukronazis The world is with us. Russia is weak and isolated. The US, NATO and our invincible military will teach a painful lesson to the Russian bear which really belongs East of the Urals (the latter are the natural border between the EU and China). We are now rehearsing the liberation of Crimea with our allies.
Russians Just try

Let’s sum this up: while the top US officials have not held the same kind of language as the US, UK and Dutch Navy officers on their ships last week, it is pretty clear that one of two things will happen: either NATO will try to “poke the bear” or they won’t.

  • In the first case, NATO will have looked like it “blinked” and that for all its posturing, NATO is afraid of taking on Russia.
  • In the second case, Russia will sink a NATO ship (or shoot down a NATO aircraft) and if NATO does not repost, it will have blinked, hard and with both eyes.

Both of these outcomes are highly undesirable for the US, NATO or the Empire. These outcomes are also bad news for the EU (which cannot afford to lose NS2 to some silly three letter agency provocation against Russia).

The main problem is that many western officials have declared urbi et orbi that “the civilized world (by that we mean “us” of course) has not recognized the Russian annexation of Crimea and, therefore, we don’t recognize the waters off Crimea as legit Russian waters”. This must have sounded really cool to the first simpletons who declared this, but the Ukies and their UK+3B+PU have immediately, and logically (in their own simple-minded way), declared “okay, great! Prove it by ignoring the Russian warnings and send something across this Russian “red line” to prove to the world that you are not only bark and no bite”. In other words, this is yet another iteration of a favorite challenge amongst US teenagers: “and whatcha gonna do about it?”.

Frankly, this is a legit question. And the US/NATO have until July 10th (this Saturday) to answer it. Okay, I guess they could also answer it after Sea Breeze 2021 is over, but since US Americans (and their clueless NATO counterparts) believe that coalition warfare is the way to victory (in reality, it is a way to defeat, as I have explained it in this article) and the real leaders of the Empire also believe that large coalitions offer a veneer of legitimacy (they don’t, as only a UNSC Resolution can) to their (imperialistic and illegal) actions with lots of small Tabaquis to make it all look kosher.

Furthermore, in the Ukronazi media the SeaBreeze 2021 is presented like this: “hey, Moskal’, it is way easier to threaten a small Ukrainian vessel than to take on NATO!!! Right?! If you just move, we will kick your asses from the Black Sea to Siberia (where you belong!)”; and the conclusion, “we are invincible, NATO is invincible, the US is invincible and the entire civilized world, which is also invincible, is against you”.

As for the clueless (and spineless and brainless) EU leaders, they talk about “containing” Russia by interacting with her “from a position of force”. In other words, this is what is really happening now: NATO encourages the Ukraine to try something, the Ukraine encourages NATO to try something, and both sides take a great deal of (quite misplaced) pride in ignoring not only the Russian warnings, but also the Russian capabilities.

I should also mention that much of the imperial propaganda machine (aka “the free press”) is also hyping the expectations of those who still take them seriously. Their message: “our invincible navies will kick the Russian bear in the ass and teach him a lesson”. Rah! Rah! Rah!

In other words: unless the US/NATO/Ukies trigger some kind of incident, the US/NATO/Ukies will lose face by the 11th of this month.

As for Putin, this is what he had to say recently when asked about the risks of a major war:

“Here is what I would like to say. You said that this put the world on the brink of a global war. No, of course, not. Even if we had sunk that ship, it is nevertheless difficult to imagine that this would have put the world on the brink of a third world war because those who did this know they could not win a war like that. This is very important.”

Pretty clear, no?

Putin will come under a lot of pressure, and even outright anger, if he does not back his words with some real action. This is an election year and the Kremlin simply cannot afford being all bark and no bite.

Last, but not least, from a geostrategic/military point of view, the Russian military cannot afford to ignore NATO’s actions.

Conclusion: alas, only more crying wolf…

Crying wolf is a very unthankless task, and in the case of the Nazi-occupied Ukraine, this is made even worse by the fact that every time the wolf fails to show up, an increasing number of people get used to the idea that the wolf (or bear) turned into a demure and fully tamed koala.

We shall soon find out which side will “blink” and which one won’t.

There are a number of intermediate steps available to both sides: Russia could harass any trespassing ship, even board it, but not sink it. But if it does sink a ship, Nato could take out a similar Russian ship or other asset elsewhere where they have local superiority.

You see, all would be even and all could be forgotten. It is also not a loss if the Western media doesn’t talk about it.

If I am wrong, we can have an in-depth discussion after the fireworks :)…

  2. Saker needs to get of the drugs. This screed is more fevered than the rest of the sewage he posts.

NATO has no reason to go to war with Putin. Putin’s Navy was unable to do anything about the UK ship exercising its rights to transit Ukrainian waters. Sinking the ship would have placed him in a very bad situation and he knows the Brits don’t take kindly to such things.

Saker thinks Putin is more than a gas bag, and that the Russian military is the equal of the Soviet military. Such thinking is utter stupidity and typical of Saker.

  5. Just a quick note, from Australia.

Koalas are not ‘tame’ – they can be quite grumpy and lash out with their claws when not happy.

But when left alone and/or treated well, they eat and sleep and mate, and allow tourists to take cute pictures of and with them.

The world would be a much better place, if only we could learn from the koala to ‘live and let live’.

There is a perfectly reasonable third course: the Ukranazis and their masters sail their ships only just outside Russian (Crimea) territorial waters, within a kilometre or less, and declare that they forced Putin to back down by travelling through “Ukrainian” territorial waters in Crimea. Russia claims that the Amerikastanis and their slaves, er, “our Western partners”, did not enter Russian territorial waters. Everyone vomits out their own mediaganda, nothing more happens.

This is so likely that anyone with half a brain, a category to which the Faker doesn’t belong, would have thought of it.

The Saker is a propagandist paid by the Russian state. He supplements his income with donations from the readers of his blog. He lives in Florida, where the cost of living is low.

What is extremely off-putting about the Saker is his Russian Imperialist attitude. That is what this guy really is, a Russian Imperialist.

He rants about the Anglo-Zionist empire, but never mentions the Zionist tentacles in Russia and up Putin’s bum, in the form of the countless Jewish billionaire oligarchs that operate in Russia.

The Saker wants the Russo-Zionist empire to take the place of the Anglo-Zionist empire.

He talks a lot about Russian military capabilities, and yet fails to mention the fact that Russian boots on the ground have not fought a real war in a long time.

The Russian military would be absolutely devastated in a confrontation with NATO.

Russian Imperialism today amounts to supporting and arming separatists in Donbass, and parking fancy jet fighters in their Naval Base in Syria, which is the only part of Syria where Russians hold any sway.

Russian forces shy away from confrontation with US forces, and US-backed forces in Syria, while Iran openly targets US bases with missiles and drones.

Russia is nothing. And without Zionist support, Russian Imperialist ambitions are doomed to fail, like the pathetic attempt in Donbass.

Meanwhile, the Saker coins new terms all the time, like Ukronazis and Zone A/B, etc.

If Russia manages to wrest Donbass from Ukraine, I will buy the Saker a Coke.

    Who are the Ukranazis?

    The Azov Battalion
    Pravii Sektor
The SS pride parade organisers and participants in Lvov and Kiev.

    Those are the Ukranazis.

The Jewish “president ” of Ukranazistan? A total puppet of the above groups.

Even if he weren’t, absolutely nothing stops Jews from being Nazis. All one has to do is go look at the racist fascist genocidal settler apartheid colony in Occupied Palestine.

    Who is the Saker?

The son of a White Russian emigre descendant mother and a Dutch father, grandson of a Nazi collaborator in WWII, Swiss by citizenship, Amerikastani by domicile, know it all hypocrite and moral coward by choice.

I wouldn’t characterize the third course as ‘perfectly reasonable’, but I take your point that it has a high probability.
And if that does take place, and if Russia subsequently explains what actually happened, how would the truth be ‘mediaganda’?
To my mind, Putin’s Russia is behaving conscientiously, cautiously and with strength. If the west wants to foolishly make feints and bluff charges and puff itself up, that’s something that Putin knows how to deal with. Russia knows that it can’t control the narrative that the average westerner believes, or the way that their taxes are wasted on belligerence. Rather, it places its efforts into what it can control – its own military security and borders when it counts.

  12. @Kramer

The saker does this because he’s desperate

the saker is emotionally and intellectually invested in Russian Imperialism he actually can’t admit that its already reached its limits and the reality is now stagnation and decline

The saddest thing of all though is the current form of Russian Imperialism is based upon the crazy ideology of Alexander Dugin who’s managed to do the impossible by bringing together the two worst most destructive forces of the last century,Nazism and Stalinism, and sell it to world as some sort of alternative to western liberalism

You must be a special type of dumb idiot to think such a combination can successfully replace western liberalism

So what exactly is the saker in favour of?

Looks like a unique form of Russian fascism if you ask me,and yet the saker has the brass neck to talk about Nazi’s in Ukraine, when he surely knows Putin has allowed Nazi’s to train para military forces in Russia, and used ultra nationalist Russians to invade Ukraine, basically Nazi’s

Last thing that’s needed is some shooting incident. The only people to suffer would be the hapless servicemen shoved into the firing line by the policy makers who themselves couldn’t care less but need some martyrs to enrage their public with. NATO seems to be upping its posturing to play to all its captive members, a lineup of midgets who’ll mutiny should they start getting sunk and shot up. NATO is just the US pushing all the other chumps in front of it as bullet catchers. Even the illegitimate Ukrainian government may have misgivings about all this. The US may even be seeking a limited armed incident to incite war hysteria at home in order to ratchet up its dictatorial powers.

What alarms me most, is that the relentless anti-Russia propaganda in the US (all of it garbage) puts enormous pressure on our political leaders (whoever they are … and I don’t include Biden) to act against Russia, which would be a disaster.

Martyanov actually listed a lot of actions Russia could take short of sinking a ship, damaging the steering, boarding it, etc. But, if a NATO ship fires on a Russian installation, it will have committed suicide. The Black Sea coast of Russia is one of the most heavily-armed locations in the World, bristling with anti-ship missiles, a lot of them mounted on mobile launchers.

The saker isn’t a sound unbiased source of information on Russia, thats the first thing

Secondly for someone who hates the West as much as he does, he really should go and live in Russia,he’d be much happier, and no i don’t care for his blathering about why he won’t move to Russia,I’m sure Putin would give him citizenship for all his sterling propaganda work 😉

As for Martyanov, well same thing applies, his so called analyses about disabling a NATO warship wouldn’t go down well with NATO or the crew of said ship,as they’d have no option but to shoot back

Maybe thats what NATO want, then they could really hammer Putin’s regime, the loss of one warship wouldn’t be a high price if it meant the end of Putin’s regime, and don’t forget once Putin goes Russia goes with him

Anyway nobody is gonna sink anything,NATO sailed straight past Putin’s army and they couldn’t do jack shit about it,although all of this was spun in a particularly Soviet way by Putin’s propaganda machine and hyped up by his fanboy club, you know people like you’ve mentioned

What they never mention is how poor the Russian economy is and how Putin has had absolutely no ability to stop demographic decline, his regime stinks Russia is now basically run by the FSB so anybody with brains leaves, another massive problem for Putin, but basically he doesn’t care

My advice stop reading biased BS about Russia, otherwise you’ll be in for a big fat shock when it becomes apparent that Russia is collapsing, which I’ve predicted to be within the next 15 years, thats when the perfect storm will engulf Russia

It’s not clear why Russia needs to take formerly-great formerly-britain’s military seriously. Even its once-vaunted navy is a joke, small, weak, unprepared, stretched thin, and about to shrink further:

    From early 2021:

Which on the surface makes sense to me, we never had and never will have a war with Russia. Maybe I am too young, but a 50 year cold war sounds like a silly joke or bad propaganda. And all of the posturing now? Please, looks like more of the same.

What I do not understand at all is how people can call the jewish president a nazi. Another reply i received said that fascist = nazi therefore the president is a fascist i guess, which is immoral i guess. But how is he a nazi if he is embracing nato? How is he a nationalist if Ukraine is a poor backwater filled with sex workers that just manufacturer cheap goods for 1st world countries? None of this rhetoric makes any sense.

The few Ukronazi units daring to engage in operations will be destroyed way before the 175 and 176 brigades physically cross the DNR and LNR border. The West won’t lift a finger. 39. Erebus says:

Doubtless the UK’s “confirmation” has the same status as their denial that the Russians sent shots across the Defender’s bow and bombed its course.

The reality is that almost certainly NATO and their Russian counterparts have worked out where their respective red lines lie and both will act within them. They’ve doubtless worked out the corollaries to that as well, namely what sort of response would be acceptable for a given infraction.

Should a rogue commander improve on his instructions, he’ll get an embarrassing lesson, perhaps from both sides. In any case, Sea Breeze is a feel-good, media exercise. The Russians need do nothing but watch carefully.

With that many disparate countries involved, the phuckups will either be numerous or embarrassing or both, but are likely to expose the GPP’s inability to coordinate fully and the Russians can expect to learn much about how to exploit the discontinuities. If I were Russian command, I’d be welcoming such an “exercise” on Russia’s front lawn. Beats travelling half way around the world to catch a much poorer view.

Poor Putin, his Russians will only fight to defend Russia, they will not fight to attack anyone. So now how to make NATO’s incursions into Crimean waters look attacking so that a defensive response is appropriate. Answer: only if NATO fires first on Russian assets will it look defensive. So unless NATO fires first, all Putin will be able to do in the Black Sea is play some bumper cars or dodgems with his fleet against the NATO fleet there in the Black Sea.

Compare this to West though, there they are always willing to attack anyone anywhere, but mostly if they are of the ak-47 carrying brown skins wearing flip flops type. The West is not into attacking others who can fight back effectively. How can Putin turn his Russians into Westerners so that they will attack anywhere on command. Answer: its impossible, the Russians lived through communism, they know all the mind games already. Russia cannot fight outside its borders, the only exception is the Russian Muslim troops who will fight anywhere, like in Syria now. The bulk of the Russian ground forces in Syria are Muslim.

  42. Kramer says:

The best way I’ve seen the US vs Russia situation explained is that it’s a chabad vs neoliberal jewish internecine conflict.

In the previous century, Global Zionism (Jewish globalist ambitions) created the Communist Soviet Union, and pitted it against the Capitalist-Liberalist West.

Is there any doubt regarding the Jewish origins of the Soviet Union? Even if Karl Marx himself were not a Jew, which he was, the Soviet Union was a Jewish Imperialist project through and through.

And of course, there is no doubt about the Jewish origins of the modern West.

I do not believe there is any internecine conflict within Global Zionism. US/West vs Soviet Union was perhaps:

    1. Divide and conquer
    2. Trial and error of Capitalism vs Communism, and the gauging of their merits and superiority
    3. Competition between the Jews’ two “dairy cows”, in order to force them to produce more “milk” for the thirsty Jew

In that phase of the project, the capitalist West wiped the floor with the Soviets.

The Jews never lost control of Russia, but Russia was deemed unsuitable for their purposes.

Today, Communist China is The Producer, and the Capitalist West is The Consumer. Neither can survive without the other. And Jewish banks facilitate trade between the two.

The NWO plan is for Greater Israel to take its place between East and West, and assume Ancient Persia’s role as the middle man along the Silk Road.

China and the US are in place. Russia is irrelevant. All that is left is to conquer Iran and the Resistance Axis, and the entire oil and gas rich Middle East will go to Israel. Russia and China have no objection to this; they are both going along with US sanctions against Iran, Yemen, etc.

Israel will then control half of the world’s energy, and they will control the East-West trade route, which is the geopolitical crown jewel.

I challenge anyone to describe a scenario whereby Global Zionism can be defeated once the NWO (ie. the US-Israel-China Axis) is completed.

True, but later the price of oil collapsed, as part of our war against Russia for daring to act independently. Now it’s on the rise again. Notice how these events never followed pump prices except when the price rises.

But the larger point is Neoliberalism had to go and yet it’s after effects, 13 billionaires remains.

  45. Carlo says:

“Can anyone tell us what Russia actually does in Syria these days? Fight terrorism, like the US?”
Nowadays what Russia mostly does in Syria is to project its air and naval power in the Mediterranean, opening a new front from where they can harass NATO. Which is good and justifiable, considering how NATO never stopped harassing Russia even when this country was near collapsing.

  46. @Kramer

jews always have internal conflicts. For example the Iran issue. Neoliberal jews want a slow burning cultural revolution in Iran, whereas chabad/lukid types just want to use brute force and starvation. So in regards to the cold war it is likely a similar schism existed. During the cold war in the 1960s I believe, when Russia stopped allowing jewish emigres to Israel that’s when Kristol and other former Marxist jews switched to neoconservative, because Russia’s actions (in their opinion) were bad for the zionist project.

Everything else you said was 100% correct. I would add though that Israeli technology firms and growing physical fiber optic network are a major current and future power source for them as well.

I am curious where else you get your news and research from as your analysis is spot on.

    Where’s Pepe Escobar ????

India is practically at war with China, plus they’ve jumped ship and joined in with Japan in the Quad

China full on westernized big problems with obesity, plus that one child eugenics experiment hasn’t done them any favours as just like Russia they’ve lined themselves up for a demographic time bomb

Anyway i’ll still put my money on the west and leave the saker to keep crying wolf,i wonder what he’ll do when it goes ‘ pop’ in Russia ?

  56. Kramer says:

..if they do nothing Russia will win.

What exactly does Russia win? It continues to exist as a polity under Putin? Is that a win for Russia?

The trade volume between China and the collective West is pretty much on par with Russia’s whole GDP.

How is Russia relevant? What is their “deal”?

China is a massive industrial production powerhouse that dominates every market in the world. The West is an enormous capitalistic consumer. Israel leads the world in designing advanced tech. Iran commands the de facto most powerful and successful military force in the world. What does Russia do that makes them relevant in today’s geopolitical world? Scare Dutch sailors? Bravo.

Their GDP is negligible compared to big Western economies. Their military shies away from engagement, as a rule, even when their planes are shot down by any and all. Their attempt at Imperialist expansion in Donbass is embarrassing. And they are behind the West in technology.

Russia is not a nice place to live, it is very grey and gloomy most of the time, and regardless of the climate, many Russians want to leave and move to the West.

Russia is in the same league as India. A second rate power that plays no relevant role in the grand scheme of things today. But where India successfully captured the Kashmir region, Russia can’t seem to conquer a Russian speaking region in Ukraine.

Pakistan is a nuclear armed power, and Kashmir is a Muslim region. The Ukraine is nothing. So, perhaps in some ways Russia is not even in the same league as India.

Russia couldn’t even prevent NATO/Turkey from gaining access to the Caspian. Or did they sell out to Turkey there?

So, would you be so kind as to enlighten me, what is Russia winning? A gas pipeline to Europe? Congratulations.

Isn’t the second biggest gas company in Russia (Novatek) owned by Leonid Viktorovich Mikhelson the Jew, who is the second richest man in Russia?

Not by themselves, they don’t. Gas, paperclips, toilet paper, field dressings, etc. could all be claimed equally as “winning” battles. They all play their part, of course, but to claim they “win” battles is an exercise in rhetorical nonsense. In the end, it is the men at the sharp end who actually do it, or not. Win or lose the battles.

I saw a video of a meeting with Mr. Oleg Tyagnibok which took place about a year before the first demonstrations of the Maidan, which would put this meeting about fall 2012. The discussion was about mobilizing demonstrators for what would become the Maidan overthrow of the legal government of Ukraine. The Maidan was the cause. The uprising in Crimea and the Donbass was the effect.

Ukraine is a modern-day Khazaria. The president of Ukraine, Zelenski, is a Jew who venerates the SS who had been killing his forefathers. The main propagandist of Ukraine, the bald Jew Gordon, has openly joked about cannibalism on Instagram. And a Ukrainian Christian nationalist zealot, Korchinski, has publicly called for Catholic terrorist attacks in Moscow. Ukraine is fruit of bad Russian conscience, an incarnation of Russian Christian self-hatred.

Regarding the topic of the article, I have drawn a map of Sea Breeze 2021. Quite an unfortunate situation, as the only future where the Aryan race survives this century is when America dies, and Poland makes peace with Russia.

Russian …. Their GDP is negligible compared to big Western economies.

In the magnificent city of Moscow, public transport on their metro costs \$0.77 (57 roubles). In London, the shortest trip on the underground costs \$7.57 (£5.50 for Sloane Street to Piccadilly Circus – a walkable distance). That means that London is almost 10 times more expensive to travel in than Moscow.

Extrapolate the above and you will quickly learn that GDP is a useless measure. The economy of Russia is far bigger than that of the UK. Their army is vastly greater and their weapons far deadlier. More importantly, they are better trained, educated and motivated. They don’t do woke. 🙂

Tell me of a single thing the UK exports in a significant way? Almost all the factories have been shut for a generation. The oil and gas is almost finished.

If you look at the list of British exports, you will find things like German cars, imported oil and Australian gold. Laughable.
