Back in 2010 I saw a news story from Cedar Rapids.  Several groids living in Des Moines (but obviously transplanted from Chimpcongo) borrowed a van and drove to CR where they kidnapped and robbed a man, stealing a number of things from him.

They didn’t shoot him, though, and they were quickly picked up when the victim was able to notify police… because the van they were driving was decorated in the paint job of the club one of their parents ran.

I know nothing further about this, and the story seems to have vanished from news archives.  Down the memory hole, along with so many others.
