The Texas A&M School of Medicine bragged that removing photos of white male alumni was an example of its institutional commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion , new documents reveal.
The institution included the response in a survey it completed for the Association of American Medical Colleges last year, which the organization used for its Diversity, Inclusion, Culture, and Equity Inventory. The school’s survey responses were obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request by the medical watchdog group Do No Harm and shared with the Washington Examiner.
The survey detailed a number of institutional commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion, or DEI, including maintaining “holistic admissions,” requiring diversity training for search committees, and reviewing salaries for “diversity.”
In response to a question that asked schools if they had modified branding and communications displays to eliminate aspects that could be “perceived as noninclusive,” the Texas A&M School of Medicine said it removed “the predominantly white male photos of [the] graduating class prominently displayed on the entrance” to the school.
The school also bragged to the AAMC that a faculty member of color said the medical school communicates “too much” to students, faculty, and staff about its “formal policies related to diversity, inclusion, and equity.”
The Texas A&M School of Medicine has over 650 students and is nationally ranked as the 80th best medical school for research by U.S. News and World Report . A Heritage Foundation report says Texas A&M employs 46 DEI staffers, in line with the national average of 45.1.
While the survey results provided a snapshot of the Texas A&M School of Medicine’s internal diversity policies, the school openly touts its commitment to diversity on its website and published a DEI statement .
“Knowledge is power, and the primary purpose of a tertiary educational institution is to uplift humanity through the continuous advancement of the power of knowledge,” the statement reads. “This is achieved through the creation, dissemination, and application of knowledge in service to humanity. Given that knowledge comes from diverse sources and experiences, diversity is a sine qua non of excellence in tertiary education. Grounded in this fundamental framework, Texas A&M University is deeply committed to a culture that embraces, expands, and celebrates diversity in an inclusive environment where all parties are appreciated, encouraged, and supported.”
Dr. Stanley Goldfarb, the board chairman for Do No Harm, told the Washington Examiner that he’s concerned medical schools like Texas A&M’s are sacrificing merit to achieve their goals of diversity and, by extension, are harming the medical profession.

Just reading some of the text though, you can tell the race of the deceased, without seeing any pictures. “Nine Children” is one tipoff. The last time I heard of a white family with near as many kids was the last time I watched “The Waltons”. Yes, I’ve heard this before. It seems like in many predominately black areas there’s a number of hospitals that have that reputation. I think there was a documentary on one in St Louis where not only was it a death trap, but they also routinely mixed up babies in the maternity ward; not that it mattered much anyways since none knew the fathers anyways.

I think White applicants to any school which acts anti White, should attend another school. The problem with medical schools is that they are extremely hard to get into, so an alternate school may be possible. Entrance to medical schools are also controlled mostly by one religion, and it’s not the Amish. If you don’t have an (((uncle))) on the board, entry is very hard, despite excellent grades.
That should not preclude other White students from attending a school that is not bigoted toward them. Let the whites who set such anti White policies stay there with their attitudes and their most favored minorities. Let’s see how long that works out for them before their pets destroy their careers.

My own university did this. It placed a large stone painted in rainbow colors, a black power fist and with the words BLACK LIVES MATTER at one of the entrances to the campus. The current president, who looks like the leader of an African country, set up an “Anti-Racism Task Force” which of course is really about punishing whites.
And then the university sends out a quarterly magazine that looks for generous donations from former students. When I went there long ago it was overwhelmingly white, but not anymore. The school, however, wants lots of money from its white students of the past to help crush whitey today.
