So… uh… about that white privilege. Is this what systemic inequality and implicit bias looks like in 2022 America? Where white people must sacrifice their vocation first to the betterment of non-whites? But wait a second… isn’t this what diversity ultimately means? [REPORT: Minneapolis Will Fire ‘White Teachers’ First: MPS Violates Civil Rights Act, Chalk Board Review, August 15, 2022]:

A new contract between Minneapolis Public Schools and the local teachers union mandates that white teachers must be fired first when any kind of staff downsizing is initiated.

“Starting with the Spring 2023 Budget Tie-Out Cycle, if excessing a teacher who is a member of a population underrepresented among licensed teachers in the site, the District shall excess the next least senior teacher, who is not a member of an underrepresented population,” the agreement, which was originally obtained by Alpha News, says. Minority teachers “may be exempted from district-wide layoff[s] outside seniority order,” and will also be given priority during reinstatement.

In addition, teachers at 15 “racially isolated schools…with the greatest concentration of poverty” will also be protected from layoffs.

“Past discrimination by the District disproportionately impacted the hiring of underrepresented teachers in the District, as compared to the relevant labor market and the community, and resulted in a lack of diversity of teachers,” the agreement adds. The agreement is meant to rectify past instances of discrimination through more and different discrimination.

Hans Bader, a constitutional lawyer, says that the measure is outright unconstitutional.

“When it comes to termination…an employer can’t racially discriminate even against whites. The Third Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in 1996 [Taxman v. Board of Education of Piscataway] that an school district can’t consider race even as a tie-breaker, in deciding who to lay off, even to promote diversity, because that (a) unduly trammels the white teacher’s rights…and (b) putting that aside, the school district couldn’t consider race to promote diversity when black people weren’t seriously underrepresented in its workforce as a whole,” Bader wrote.

Bader also argued that the Third Circuit’s ruling is strengthened by a 1989 Supreme Court ruling (Wygant v. Jackson Board of Education) that stated that “a school district can’t lay off white teachers to remedy societal discrimination against blacks.“

James Dickey, senior trial counsel at the Upper Midwest Law Center, has already announced that he’s getting involved. He encouraged “any Minneapolis taxpayer or teacher who opposes this racial preference system” to send him an email at [email protected].

Despite the backlash, however, the teachers union is sticking to its guns.

“It can be a national model, and schools in other states are looking to emulate what we did,” Edward Barlow, who sits on the Minneapolis Federation of Teachers executive board, told the Star Tribune. “Even though it doesn’t do everything that we wanted it to do, it’s still a huge move forward for the retention of teachers of color.”

At this time, no white administrators have volunteered to be among the first laid off at Minneapolis Public Schools.

Why aren’t white people lining up to be the first sacrificial lambs to diversity? Why indeed?

Today is the 35th anniversary of Flight 255.
Horrific crash that took place seconds after take off in Romulus, MI. Killed all on board with the exception of a 4 year old girl. Even some passengers in a car on the ground lost their lives.

There’s a ghetto nearby, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to readers here, that some bf’s got arrested for stealing gold jewelry and cash from some of the victims. Think about it. People burned to death, crushed, twisted apart and shredded.

While witnesses and passers by were attempting to help, some blacks ran over and were stipping bodies while they were still warm. They were arrested and it briefly was covered by Detroit media outlets. Story as big as this air disaster, how couldn’t they?

Wonder if the teachers in the story at the top would touch this?

  3. The student body at the schools served by Minneapolis Public School District is 36.9% White, 33.3% Black, 4.4% Asian or Asian/Pacific Islander, 17.1% Hispanic/Latino, 2.6% American Indian or Alaska Native, and 0.1% Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander.
In other words, they are doing the white teachers a favor.

  4. “Privelege” is to be dis-employed first.

What a f***ing JOKE.  These people are self-parodies.  Especially when non-White children learn better under White tutelage than under their own.

Nope.  Not gonna pretend.  Non-Whites have NO business in the USA.

GTFO.  Make what you can.  We have no secrets; your failures to learn and create are yours, and yours alone.  If you fail to evolve from this, that failure is yours also.  If you don’t pick your descendants from your IQ 110+ population, you’ll get exactly what you deserve.

  6. USGrant says:

American public schools were established by wealthy American bigots who hated Christian mostly Catholic religious schools in the USA and wanted to replace them with totally secular schools loyal to the American establishment. The results of their efforts are clearly on display in the schools of Minneapolis.

As long as whites accept their role as subordinates in the country they built, their situation will just keep getting worse. Infusing whites with guilt over a 50 year period was a stroke of genius. Now they don’t even have the will to fight back.

  9. When “GOVERNMENT” grabbed control of teaching our children away from the parents and from their local communities, all hell started breaking loose. “GOVERNMENT” started getting rid of “CLASSIC EDUCATION” to replace it with social programing. Then in the 1930s the self admitted communist gang called the COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS (CFR), which literally went to COMMUNIST RUSSIA to learn how the BOLSHEVKS were indoctrinating their children, CFR then wormed into the U.S. “GOVERNMENT” and set up the DEPT. of EDUCATION, which CFR still controls. Then the CFR wrote their self described “DUMB DOWN” curriculums. When CFR introduced that in the 1940s, teachers balked and /or quit. CFR had to go back to the UNIVERSITIES and “INDOCTRINATE” a whole new crop of teachers. Thus we got “TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMS” and “TEACHER CERTIFICATION”. Then the communist CFR set up TEACHER UNIONS, which to this day CFR still controls (teacher union president WEINGARTEN is a member of CFR). Everything that WEINGARTEN claims is the problem with schools her own gang created and is now presenting distractions from that fact.

    Solutions?

Get rid of the DEPT. of EDUCATION,
    Get rid of Teacher Unions,
Take the education of our children back to the parents and their LOCAL COMMUNITIES,
    Bring back “CLASSIC FDUCATION.
In other words, take back our parental responsibilities and get “GOVERNMENT” hands off our children.
And definitely do not take strings attached “GOVERNMENT” money for education….just don’t take that money.

  10. It looks like the majority of current union members are white.

Self-loathing is a horrible type of mental illness.

Subjecting children to these sickos is child abuse.

Interesting and not a surprising story. Some years ago, in looking through some old newspapers from the early 20th century, I came across some articles about the great Galveston hurricane, which killed thousands and all but wiped out the city. There were a couple that described negros looting the bodies, even going so far as to cut off fingers, ears and limbs to get at the jewelry. When caught, the civilians shot them down posthaste.

The way things are devolving on this rapidly degenerating land mass, such things may again become reality…

    You are correct.
In 1920s Michigan there were actually legislative attempts to outlaw and abolish all Catholic schools. You see, the Protestants of the time could not compete against the quality of a Catholic education.
Michigan still has had a “hard-on” for eliminating true competition to the government education system.

The union is probably headed by long term teachers who don’t have to worry about layoffs. What they’re doing is screwing the young White teachers. I can’t see how, in light of US civil rights laws and the 14th Amendment something like this can be permitted. If the US judiciary wasn’t completely corrupt, this contract would automatically be thrown out. Unfortunately, our judges are often as crazy, or crazier, than your average women’s studies graduate.

Not snarky at all…it is a good question that deserves an honest answer.
Sad to say, when it comes to ethics, many of today’s Catholic schools have been poisoned by the perversions wrought by the “Vatican II Ecumenical Council”.
From an academic standpoint, Catholic schools do outperform government and other schools by a very large margin.
To this day, Catholic dioceses award education scholarships to “deserving non-Catholics” while denying the same to “deserving Catholic” children. Go figure…
I don’t know how much influence “pope” Francis has on the schools, but it only takes one liberal bishop or cardinal to poison a whole diocese with not just tolerance, but full-blown acceptance of “woke” culture.
Fortunately, there are Roman Catholic sects such as SSPX that abide by pre-Vatican II principles. It is worth it to seek out such institutions.
    Best regards,

I’ve got a gut feeling that the next major “supreme court opinion” will abolish and outlaw “affirmative action” and restore a part of “freedom of association” (which should never have been prohibited by diktat).
Yes, the cities will burn, but so what? There’s not much left anyway. Anytime the jew’s “pets” do not get their way, they get violent. It’s all by design…

If we all didn’t know that any majority black student/teacher failures would be blamed on racism, lack of funding, racism, lack of support, racism, lack of community services and racism, that quote would be downright hilarious.

  27. USGrant says:
    @anarchyst

“Yes, the cities will burn” America’s cities were set on fire decades ago. Early examples Watts in 1965 and Newark NJ around the same year. All deliberate policy by the American anti -christian ruling class. Removing millions from white ethnic enclaves in big cities and dispersing them into the white suburbs where they would spend most of their lives getting indoctrinated by the American deep state while listening to their car radios or watching endless hours of jew run TV. Adding internet porn and now legalized marijuana renders white christian Americans into harmless drones for the Establishment.

anarchyst————Thank you for this information.I grew up in the Southern Baptist tradition.Southern Baptists have avoided the problems inherent in the Catholic Church’s top down tradition. That,of course, just means we have a different set of problems and challenges. We tend to fight constantly within our atomized, each church stands alone, churches.Every 3-4 years there is a major church showdown over the Rev. Even Paul,or perhaps esp. Paul, would have worn out his welcome. As for Baptist Church private schools, perhaps one church in 10 has K-6.I don’t know of but 2 that has K-12.

  29. Nachum says:

In one of his books Meir Kahane describes a debate he had with a liberal rabbi, in front of latter’s congregation. His opponent went on and on about the values of diversity and affirmative action and so on. Kahane stood up and said, “Rabbi, I know a young black man studying for the rabbinate at Yeshiva University. I look forward to you vacating your position in his favor.” The audience gave him a sustained round of applause.

I would like to add that Catholic schools run the gamut. There are very good Catholic schools, mediocre Catholic schools, and Catholic schools that aren’t much better than the neighboring ghetto public schools. The Catholic schools in my region often parroted the nearby public school district by adopting longer school days and cancelling politically incorrect holidays.

My take on unions from personal experience:
I was hired by a major firm to maintain complex electrical and electronic systems. Within 6 months, my employer was able to eliminate the use of contractors. I had brought the repair operations “in-house” thereby saving my employer a considerable amount of money.
My employer decided to reward me with a substantial “raise”. All went well until my “union” (which I was FORCED to belong to in pre-“right-to-work” days) found out about it. My “union’s” position was “if he gets a raise, everyone else in the bargaining unit must get a raise”. My “raise” was promptly rescinded.
Efforts by my employer to create another “bargaining unit” job classification was met with hostility by my “union”. Here I am, FORCED to pay “union dues”, to a “union” that is keeping me down.
It took TWO YEARS, upon the expiration and renegotiation of the “contract” , for me to get my “raise”.
As an addendum, the National Labor Relations Board proposed a “rules change” that would free unions from representing non-members in “right-to-work” states. The unions fought this change as they still see the value in numbers, regardless of union affiliation or dues payments.
I have NO USE for unions and can stand on my own two feet to get ahead. As far as I am concerned, unions destroy incentive.
    P. S. I know about the “Beck” decision…most unions make it extremely difficult to utilize it…
Right-to-work legislation is the best thing to happen here in the USA. It’s a shame that it cannot be nationwide…
The above situation happened to me twice in my work career with two different employers. In both cases, the raises were substantial, over \$10K each.
