Somehow the spike in gun violence across America is the fault of white people and Donald Trump, despite few white people or Trump supporters pulling the trigger…[Mass shootings surge in Florida as nation faces record high, Tallahassee Democrat, March 7, 2021]:

COVID-19 highlighted long-standing healthcare, education, housing and employment inequities in the nation’s communities of color and only policy changes that improve living conditions will lead to shooting reductions, said Jerika Richardson, senior vice president for Equitable Justice & Strategic Initiatives at the National Urban League, a non-partisan civil rights organization based in New York.

“We want to see a decline but we won’t until the nation does more to advance justice and economic empowerment for these communities,” said Richardson. “Civil rights groups are on it. But to see a decline in numbers in 2021 and beyond we need everyone in this country to get involved and do the work.”

A USA TODAY analysis of Gun Violence Archive statistics from 2020 shows that mass shootings surged by 47% as many states reported unprecedented increases in weapons-related incidents. In 2020, the United States reported 611 mass shooting events that resulted in 513 deaths and 2,543 injuries. In 2019, there were 417 mass shootings with 465 deaths and 1,707 injured.

“Those numbers are sobering,” said Sarah Burd-Sharps, director of research at Everytown for Gun Safety, a non-profit that works to reduce gun violence nationally. “There are lots of theories flying left and right as to why this happened and it’s too early to tell, but what’s clear is that it was a very deadly year.”

Another big factor in last year’s surge is record gun sales, she said. According to the FBI, the agency performed 39.7 million background checks for gun purchases in 2020, up 40% over 2019. Those gun purchases came at a time of heightened concerns about both public safety and anti-police sentiments, as well as warnings of violence by former President Donald Trump.

The result was a more on-edge and armed citizenry. The Police Executive Research Forum, a non-profit research and policy group, noted that 70% of police departments surveyed experienced an increase in non-fatal shootings in 2020 relative to 2019.

“The entire year was extremely violent,” said Patrick Sharkey, a gun violence researcher and professor of sociology and public affairs at Princeton University in New Jersey. “This could end up the most violent year of this century.”

The most dramatic increases in mass shootings last year were found in states with cities that boast large Black and Latino populations, groups that traditionally are disproportionately impacted by crime and gun violence as well as, more recently, COVID-19 cases and deaths, along with high unemployment rates driven by the pandemic.

Read that last paragraph again, carefully.

How are white people to blame for any of this, or more importantly, Trump supporters?

It seems the more non-whites a state has, the greater the increase in mass shootings, crime and COVID-19 cases and deaths are found… yet blaming white people is the correct solution.

That is an absurd statement. The increase in gun sales was not a cause of increased gun violence. The gun violence caused increased gun sales. Many leftist ideologies invert cause and effect.

The gun sales were to law – abiding citizens, many of them new gun owners, concerned about the increased personal danger from crime and violence.

Much of their additional exposure is increased violent carjackings and home invasions, crimes committed mainly by blacks. It is convenient to keep a firearm available in the car or the house.

The increase in gun violence is entirely the fault of the negroes and mestizos who do the violence, mostly with illegally obtained and “owned” guns.

It’s a template they use, when they must mention truthful statements about blacks, they also must close it out with an anti-White propaganda.

The usual stories blaming everything on the wrong people. In every city, town, village, county where more than 5% of the population is negro the violence numbers are the same. 80- 90+ % of the violent crime, murders and shootings, are because those crimes are committed by negroes. Meanwhile the woke politicians, judges, prosecutors, news media look at this with see no evil, hear no evil, say no evil mindsets and preach their white man bad line to all the sheep that will listen. BRA was theory, now it’s a fact.

  8. Calling it “gun violence” is a piece of indirection.

True as far as it goes, but not the real problem.

Look at the UK with their “knife crime” problem. Really the same problem.

Just a sample of what this reports lays out. In war torn Chicago, this weekend, 2 dead and 24 shot. Not one of those statistics were white, Asian or other race. 22 negroes, 2 Hispanics added to the body count. And for the umpteenth time, who’s the problem?

It’s utter lunacy, but the sheer ease (intellectual laziness) of accepting wokism (and the penalties coming with refusing to do so) guarantees that lots of people will do it.

They also bloviate about global warming, gun control, and the need for abortion, population control ( you not them) pornography, sexual liberation (ie cheating on your spouse) and of course the necessity of Covid lock downs and facemasks and now vaccines. They are the degenerate wealthy global ruling elite who own the MSM mostly WASP leftist “do gooders” like the Quakers and Unitartians many of whom are super rich jewish converts and mainstream Jewry. We shouldn’t leave out the homosexual perverts in the Vatican who are doing more than their share of the heavy lifting for Satan these days. Sure but never forget that the most far Left places in America such as Vermont are still largely the safest and cleanest places provided they are still predominantly white. The same can be said for European cities that were safe and clean even though controlled the the Left. Some of those places are now dangerous because of the influx of non-whites. The absolute worst places to live are the predominantly black places and that is worldwide. Further it is the black vote that elects and enables the Leftist. The Democrat Party today could not win elections without the black voting 90% Democrat.

  13. And now the blacks and mestizos, through their Democrat “leaders” have voted themselves free stuff paid for by white people. We’re on the verge of an economic collapse. People tolerate a lot of crap when they’re well fed and comfortable. Once they’re not is when people will have to start showing their true loyalties.

  14. This black woman who makes all these whacky assertions may be forgiven because that’s her job. If she were to suddenly start making sense, she would have to be let go.

The Urban League changed its name from “National League on Urban Conditions Among Negroes”. It is not any kind of impartial think tank or neutral research organization. It is an advocacy organization created more than a century ago for the specific purpose of benefiting blacks. If you hire a defense lawyer to argue for you in court, you can rightfully expect him to only present viewpoints favorable to your case. Similarly a black woman working for a black organization that only exists to defend black people should be wholly disregarded. But the press treats such pronouncements as if they are meaningful.

An honest reporter would at least mention this. It would be as if in a court case the press would only quote one side in a legal dispute. WAIT. That’s what they do do too.

So in an abundance of justice I routinely ignore everything published by such organizations. Come to think of it, I ignore almost everything presented by any black person.

    Just trying to be fair.

  15. .. education inequities ..

    I agree with that observation.

Poor, inner city kids are drafted into, and confined within, totally crappy, physically dangerous public schools.

The segregationist policy is designed to keep them out of less crappy, suburban schools.

Well egalitarians feel they have no choice.

Accountability means not only more Blacks in prison but possibly admitting the unthinkable which is that equal outcomes may not be possible.

So instead they blame Whites for everything that goes wrong in America and also in Africa despite the fact that most colonialism was over after WW2.

Egalitarians and leftists will absolutely burn this country to the ground before admitting they were wrong. That includes Christian conservatives that won’t give up paint theory and want to turn San bushmen into the Cosbys.

But I have plenty of hope for this country. The left controls the media and schools but still go absolutely bonkers when someone *hints* that race might not be totally environmental. They are losing it. I remember when they used to show up to forums and try to argue their positions on race. They don’t even bother anymore. They switched to exclusion tactics.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan has called for an investigation into a Baltimore High School after a local investigation found scores of students at the school are failing.

A senior at Augusta Fells Savage (AFS) Institute of Visual Arts failed all but three classes over four years and still graduated at the top half of his class with a 0.13 GPA, according to a Fox 45 Baltimore report published earlier this week.

“This is something I’m going to ask the inspector general to immediately look into. They have to get to the bottom of this and find out who’s responsible,” Hogan told the outlet on Thursday.

Gee. I wonder who they will find to be Responsible.

They don’t need to ban guns, just limit the production of ammo similar to what we are seeing these days. When I lived in Connecticut a few years ago (pre-ammo shortage), you could only buy 2 boxes of ammo per day, and they wouldn’t sell it to you if you had an out of state drivers license/ID. When I tried buying ammo at Walmart in upstate NY, they asked if I was buying it for a pistol or rifle, when I said pistol, they wanted to see my NY pistol registration (I was visiting from FL at the time) and wouldn’t sell to me because I didn’t have one.

These days most stores that sell ammo have limited quantities, and ammo cost has pretty much doubled, and will only allow 2-3 boxes per person, per day. Even reloading materials are scarce, so unless you had a stockpile before February 2020, it’s much harder to stock up now. I’ve had friends who asked me to go shooting a few times in the last year, but I don’t want to waste the ammo.

Chris Rock had a joke about charging $5k per bullet, and shootings will go down. That reality doesn’t seem so far fetched these days.

People are often critical of black leadership due to their incompetence, laziness, and corruption. What they really need to understand is this is the cream of the crop for black people. The sheer amount of dysfunction in the black community is immeasurable; especially in the school system. This has now permeated every aspect of society and is spreading; it literally is cancerous.

Of course the institution started out crappy, but its smallness and zero out-of-taxpayers-pockets cost concealed the fact. The exponential growth of the crappiness made its presence, even decades ago, impossible to hide.

Political conservatives fully support public (tax funded) education, e.g. vouchers and, contracted services such as charters and construction.

Public unions are a catastrophe, but where lousy school system is concerned, they’re just one contributing factor. The worst factors must be compulsory attendance (all kids have to go to school) and the 180d school “year” (high-cost guarantee).

Poor, inner city kids are drafted into, and confined within, totally crappy, physically dangerous public schools.

You have the chain of causation backwards.  The stupid, violent African kids CREATE the physical dangers and crappy learning conditions.  Bad students, not bad schools.

My own family watched this happen in a major American city that is now falling apart.  My own grandfather taught in the schools which no longer teach anything.

The segregationist policy is designed to keep them out of less crappy, suburban schools.

Stupid, violent children should be kept away from those who are capable of learning and want to learn.  We owe it to the latter.

The inner city schools get metal detectors, self-esteem instruction, and foot/basket ball teams.

The inner city schools GOT metal detectors because the stupid, violent throwbacks were bringing knives and guns to school with intent to harm others with them.  BAD STUDENTS, NOT BAD SCHOOLS!

  29. @Rooster10

The sheer amount of dysfunction in the black community is immeasurable; especially in the school system.

It permeates everything where Affirmative Action is allowed to rule, especially HR departments and university administrations.

  30. @Abolish_public_education

Of course the institution started out crappy

Why do you make this assumption? Compton didn’t start out crappy. It was actually once a nice suburb. Why would you assume any different for the schools?

Political conservatives fully support public (tax funded) education, e.g. vouchers and, contracted services such as charters and construction.

Charter schools were already tried (and failed) in Chicago. Yes I realize they don’t talk about that on Fox News / Con Inc Prop Radio. Kind of throws a wrench into the grand theory that government is always the problem.

Funny how those public school unions aren’t making crappy schools in Utah.

I’m not a fan of the unions but this line of thinking started by libertarians doesn’t add up.

The worst factors must be compulsory attendance (all kids have to go to school) and the 180d school “year” (high-cost guarantee).

Well conservatives already signed onto that and it would be heresy for a politician to suggest otherwise. Conservatives bet on charter schools somehow fixing this mess and it didn’t work. Over a billion in private funds have been spent but they never discuss this. Gates even spent a few hundred million on the theory that teachers are to blame and then quietly went back to funding a cure to Malaria.

Research on your own as to how much Betsy Devos and a few wealthy families have spent on charter schools. It didn’t work but they don’t have the guts to talk about it.

  31. @Dr. X

Their “solution” to the problem of Negro gun violence will be to disarm whites, leaving whites at the mercy of the savages…

It’s a two for one for the left. That is why they are so obsessed with guns.

The left only fears White people. A grumpy Austrian terrified them not long ago and they haven’t forgotten.

The plan is to disarm Whites and then let Blacks stab each other. Make Whites less threatening and limit Blacks to pointy objects.

I’ve had liberals admit that Blacks will still kill each other with knives and that innocent people (Whites) will be killed by not being able to defend themselves with guns. But in their minds it will even out.

“It would still be for the best”

A leftist really said that to me after admitting to this. What a utopia.

    That wouldn’t change anything.

Black thugs only need a magazine full of ammo. They aren’t going to the range on the weekend.

Black criminals are not as poor as everyone thinks. If they can afford 4k wheels and a 2k stereo then they can afford a couple boxes of ammo.

The poor Blacks are not the ones doing the shootings. It’s the thug life Blacks that drive around in gangsta cars with 26″ rims that shoot each other over stupid reasons.

totally crappy, physically dangerous public schools.

Interesting choice of words. I recall my elementary and junior high school days in the late seventies and early 80’s in buildings built in 1907 and 1919 respectively. I cannot ever recall thinking that either place was “crappy” or physically dangerous until busing started. And even in the early years the negro population of students that were bused to my side of town stayed for the most part in check because if they didn’t they got hammered. Both schools are now closed and used for publicly funded education for adults. The white families that saw the writing on the wall, cared about their children and sucked it up financially moved to the suburbs or put their kids in private schools having realized that exposing their young to the culture of the current systemically protected species of inner city negro’s was not only immoral, but tantamount the destroying their chances to becoming anything worth while in life.

I also agree with most blacks only having the amount of ammo in the magazine of the usually stolen gun, because they know they are going to use it and throw it away or sell/give it to someone else to use for crime. My point was how difficult it is now for legal gun owners to buy or try and stock up on ammo for themselves, and how costly it has become.

The government sold public education, to a gullible voting public, with the promise that it would teach the 3Rs to poor (e.g. inner city) kids — thuggish or not, and finish the job by 8th grade. At no future out-of-pocket, taxpayer cost. At 90 school days per year.

That was the original, limited mission of the schools.

Somewhere in that OK must have existed the expectation that it will do so in a peaceful, clean environment.

So I don’t want to hear any 20:20 hindsight, baloney excuses about bricks, glass, whatnot ruining things.

That some schools look like filthy, medium security prisons is not the issue, nor that bullying is rampant at “good schools”, nor any other incidental. (I mention the danger aspect only to draw attention to how ridiculously terrible it is that kids are sentenced to such places.)

  47. You concluded, in part:
“It seems … blaming white people is the correct solution.”

Yes, it can certainly “seem that way”. But that’s largely due to two factors:

    1) The “media” has become a veritable propaganda arm for that premise. So we’re inundated with the tenets of “critical race theory” and leftist ideology, as “news” is wrapped with and expressed through that distinct “lens”.

    2) Especially in this most recent 1.5 years, we’ve obviously become subject to a widespread, concerted campaign advancing, and hastily implementing, the premise and constructions (and fabrications) upon it. There has been a veritable “infiltration” of government, education, social services and a myriad of NGOe all positioned to then dovetail and act collaboratively as we’ve been seeing. “Striking while the iron’s hot”, so to speak. But also heating irons up.

The basic idea so adamantly forced upon us all is: “because slavery”. And “white supremacy”. And “colonialism”. And “capitalism”. And “patriarchy”. You know, all those features of “whiteness” that are the new Original Sin. And, yes, it’s all more like a religion than anything else.

The rhetoric is variations upon Marxism, in form and function. And that is a purpose of “two sides” delineation and wielded mainly desctructively. There is no distinct vision of how everything would be “after” all the changes pushed, nor a timetable. The objective is slely to “overthrow the system”, ultimately. The main problem with that is that whenever and wherever that’s been done, manifesstly, the “replacement” system was at least as bad, oppressive, harmful and even deadly. And to more people. Last century, roughly 100 million people were killed due to it.

This has all been essentially driven by powerful and organized people and groups identified as “globalists” and their obective is to steer it all into a “new world order” and a centralized “one world governance”. Toward that end, they are exploiting many otherwise probably well-meant and even subectively sincere people, by pandering to their special interests and seeming to thereby provide “resources” and “grant power” to them. For now.

Within a more pragmatic neoMarxist context, these all would be what’s referred to as “useful idiots”. They don’t realize what they’re doing, yet, in terms of the eventual conditions to be brought about and the way paved with the incremental “changes” that had “seemed” even beneficial.

Once a successful “transition” (or revolution or whatever) has been effected, the “useful idiots” are among the first to be rounded up and either sent into prison, exile or shot because they will, by then, most clearly see and grasp the betrayal and, therefore, possibly become more avid opponents.
