Perhaps VDARE Editor Peter Brimelow put it best: William Penn, now being unpersoned by the Biden Regime, was a Quaker and therefore opposed slavery. Also FWIW notably sympathetic to Indians Makes no difference. Nothing makes any difference. Regime just hates whites #GreatReplacement [Biden admin to remove statue of William Penn from Philadelphia park and ‘rehabilitate’ the park to commemorate Native Americans, Post Millennial, January 7, 2023]:

Joe Biden’s National Park Service under Interior Secretary Deb Haaland will remove the statue of William Penn from the park erected in 1982 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of his founding of the colony of Pennsylvania. The park is on the site of his original home in Philadelphia.

The park, located in Philadelphia near the Delaware River at Sansom and Second Streets, will be “rehabilitated” and that proposal will include an “expanded interpretation of the Native American history of Philadelphia.” The plan was “developed in consultations with the representatives of the indigenous nations of the Haudenosaunee, the Delaware Nation, Delaware Tribe of Indians, the Shawnee Tribe, and the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma.”

While much of the original design of the park will remain, the statue of Penn and the model of his original home “will be removed and not reinstalled.” The Park Service claims that at some later date, which is not currently funded, there will be a new exhibit that mentions Penn and his work founding what became the state named for him as well as the city of Philadelphia.

The National Park Service, led by National Park Service Director Charles Sams III, who boasts Native American ancestry as does his boss Haaland, runs a substantial portion of Philadelphia’s historic sites. This agency is in charge of nearly 54 acres of historic sites in the Old City neighborhood, where the Penn home once stood. The Biden administration praised Haaland when she was appointed for becoming “the first Native American to serve as a cabinet secretary.” Equity, as the Biden White House recently stated, has “always, always” been “at the center of every policy.”

These sites include Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence was signed and the Constitution drafted and debated, the Liberty Bell, Congress Hall, Franklin Court, and many more buildings and historical exhibits that Americans flock to each year to get a glimpse into the past of our nation’s founding.

The new park will be designed by famed architectural firm Venturi & Scott Brown Associates, which is the firm that was contracted to design the original in 1982 by the Friends of Independence National Historical Park. The park itself was named for William Penn’s ship, the one on which he arrives from England in 1682, called Welcome.

The park was built to celebrate Penn, his life, and the colony he founded which became the great state of Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania was one of the original 13 colonies, and Penn founded the colony on the principles of religious freedom and civil freedoms.

ORDER IT NOW

Penn’s Charter of Privileges was the governing document and was brought into effect in 1701 and acted as the constitution for what was then called Penn’s Woods. The land had been a given to Penn by King Charles II as payment for a debt that Charles owed Penn’s father who had been an admiral in the British Navy.

Penn was a Quaker who believed in religious freedom as a guiding principal. Philadelphia became known as a Quaker city, and still holds many meetinghouses and Quaker schools. Quakers were abolitionist and led the abolitionist movement. Quakers began the fight for abolition in Philadelphia in the 1680s.

Penn’s reputation was tarnished during the George Floyd riots of 2020, when local National Public Radio affiliate WHYY explored Penn’s history as a slave owner. They said that Penn “enslaved roughly 12 people” and granted some of them their freedom. WHYY complained that while Quakers protested slavery and spoke out against it, they didn’t “officially denounce it” for another 50 years. They don’t explain what they mean by that.

The slaveholding past of America’s founding fathers has been used as a crow bar to remove their statues, names and influence from American historical sites, city centers, museums, cemeteries, and other locations. Those who seek the purification of our public, visible historical records believe that no man committed a sin against the modern progressive religion should have his name or good deeds remembered.

In 2021, Democrat lawmakers in the US House proposed a bill “To remove all statues of individuals who voluntarily served the Confederate States of America from display in the United States Capitol. To remove all statues of individuals who voluntarily served the Confederate States of America from display in the United States Capitol.” The bill was called the Confederate Monument Removal Act.

While the bill did not pass, statues were removed across the US either by local governments or by agitators ripping them. Many of these were not Confederate memorials or statues, but simply statues commemorating American history. Now, the Biden administration is removing the statue of the man who founded Pennsylvania from the park commemorating that founding on the land on which his house once stood.

No, this nothing more than a loud and clear message to White America: the time for honoring your past is over.

Erasing White America’s history is happening before our eyes.

  1. There’s no logic to this except anti-whiteness.

After all, if American Indian interests matter so much, the Biden admin should be ending all immigration as mass immigration led to the erasure of the Indians.

Even as the Biden admin pretend to care about indigenous American Indians, they welcome more mass invasion, meaning American Indians will keep losing their ancestral lands to endless waves of newcomers.

There’s no logic to this at all but anti-whiteness.

Invoke American Indians to beat up on whites, and invite mass invasion to hurt whites.

  2. The Biden administration praised Haaland when she was appointed for becoming “the first Native American to serve as a cabinet secretary.”

And she’s another one of these minorities whose choice of romantic partner is white. And her daughter looks half- half to me.

  3. Philly is a negro run city, a park honoring indians isn’t going to appeal to the coons. Any white tourist who ventures into that hellhole will pay the price and they deserve everything coming to them.
Philly “fans” aren’t into history, they prefer to watch negroes run around and play ball.

  4. It truly is a war on White people. And what’s so disheartening is that the people doing it are White. There’s nothing as reprehensible as a race traitor. If American Revolution 2.0 ever happens, these people should be dealt with first.

  5. Rich says:

Nikki Haley, the “Indian” candidate for president, recently gave the correct answer when asked about the reason for the War Between the States. “Slavery” is now the only acceptable answer, even if it was only one of the many reasons for the war. The Quakers and other abolitionists, well-meaning as they might have been, helped bring about the destruction of this nation. Quakers were huge in the “civil rights” movement and helped force integration down the throats of poor Whites. This is the natural consequence of their actions. When our transformation to a Latin American country is complete, statues and parks will be the least of our worries. We live in a new reality and have to prepare accordingly.

I guess they better get busy on something really important like renaming the state. As a matter of fact, since all the state and county names as well as the country itself were invented by White people, they all gave to go. To say I loathe the people fomenting this crap is an understatement of biblical proportions…

Democrats favored Jim Crow, and never formally denounced such laws. Our path is clear. We must remove all statues and public references to Democrats.

Wow, this being the moral conscience of the entire nation is hard work, but I love this country, so I will carry this heavy burden forward. Now bow down and worship me before I unperson you all, because of my great leftist love of America.

Haha! Sounds like Paul Craig Roberts, and just as unconvincing.

So let’s edit the quote to correspond to reality.

It truly is a war on White people. And what’s so obvious is that the people doing it are Jewish.

    FIFY

There’s nothing as reprehensible as a race traitor.

Says the person who blames Whites.

    1. White is a racial descriptor. Anything more specific inevitably breaks down into culture groups, from the ancient Greeks to the Romans, from the Germanic peoples, to the French, to the English (which were 33 waring tribes when the Romans first arrived, and it took them centuries – centuries – to become the English, and that lasted a couple of hundred years, at best).
    2. White is not, and has never been, the name of a well-organized, well-funded, and highly motivated group capable of acting in its own interests. The use of the word “White” in this case is an example of the logical fallacy of misplaced corrrectness.
    3. Whites as Whites have no institutional power or cultural control.
    4. That fact that some people who happen to be white side with those in power who are obviously Jewish is nothing new and should come as no surprise. Sucking up to power is hardly unique to “whites.” It’s a human constant.
    5. The reason people continue to blame an abstraction like Whites is because they can’t or won’t blame Jews.

  11. “Interpretation the history of Native American people”. Will this include stories of how these stone age savages pillaged frontier towns, savagely killing all the men and children, and raping and killing almost all of the women, and then enslaving those that they didn’t kill? No, it’ll be stories of how those poor oppressed “land owners” had their property taken from them by the evil white man. Who then exiled them into the cruel wilderness, where most of them then perished. This country has gone full retard. The people that built this country and fought and died for it would be completely disgusted by all this, way more than I could possibly ever be.

  12. @usNthem

Hey, you just brought up something I hadn’t even thought about yet. Yeah, how long until these lunatics want to rename an entire STATE? Oh, you’re right ….it’s coming!!

  13. @Rich

Start looking for properties in El Salvador, Honduras, Venezuela, or Guatemala, those countries will start improving in the next few years, since they are sending all their criminals, mental patients, and poor across the border here.

  14. @anonymouseperson

Jews (whose whiteness is uncertain) are also to blame.

While they push for the destruction of White history in our country, they eagerly engage in the extinction of Palestinians in another; both processes sanctioned by the US government.

  15. @usNthem

The State could be re-named X formerly known as Pennsylvania. Philadelphia could be changed to Wakanda.

They don’t like us to notice this, but I saw a Jew on TV, and a POC called him White, to which said Jew replied, “I am not White, I am a Jew.”

I see now why they were happy to have White people demonized by minorities for at least the last decade. The Jews feel they have a way out, sort of Jewish plausible deniability. It’s always good to know who our enemies would be in a race war.

They’re starting off slowly George Washington High becomes Malcom X High, and no one seems to upset. Give it a few years, we’ll be issued White Race cards that will have to be shown to get our food rations and when stopped by the People of Color Liberation police.

When your historical monuments begin to be destroyed regardless of what they represent you’re as good as fu**ed! This is the Jewish blueprint for your erasure and what they did in Russia/Soviet Union when they systematically went about destroying all the churches which we will also see in the US in the not too distant future I’m sure. Releasing all violent criminals from their prisons was also a tactic of the Bolsheviks which I believe is also well underway in the US. Unfortunately the public are absolutely clueless so forgive me for my total lack of optimism.

  29. @Rich

One of my favorite quotes from original period literature of the War for the Union era is by the observant English economist J.E. Cairnes, who wrote in his 1862 book The Slave Power … An Attempt to Explain the Real Issues Involved in the American Contest, “As for slavery, it was little more than a pretext for both sides, employed by the leaders of the South to arouse the fears and hopes of the slaveholders, and by the North in the hope of attracting the sympathies of Europe and hallowing a cause which was essentially destitute of noble aims.”

As Americans we view the conflict through the wartime propaganda of both sides, colored by the hyperemotional issue of race, while ignoring the larger trends in the global economy and international relations. Great Britain correctly saw the rising power of the United States, with its lingering passionate Anglophobia, as an existential threat to the empire’s unrivalled global hegemony. London would have been the greatest beneficiary of sabotaging the Union, hands down. And coincidentally, most southern cotton went to London (and Paris) as the US’ most valuable export commodity. Intriguing perspectives are found in Doyle’s The Cause of All Nations, An International History of the American Civil War (Basic Books, 2015).

Walt Whitman penned perhaps the best epitaph for those four years of bloodshed and horror, “Those hot, sad, wrenching times – the army volunteers, all states, or North or South: the wounded, suffering, dying; the exhausting, sweating summers; marches, battles’ carnage; those trenches hurriedly heaped by the corpses, thousands, mainly unknown – will the America of the future, will this vast, rich Union ever realize what itself cost back there, after all?”

  38. If Pennsylvania were a country, it would rank in the top 20 economies in the world, bigger than Saudi Arabia’s. Native Americans contributed nothing to that and presumably would not have contributed anything to it in the 300 years after their first encounter with Penn had they continued to with their way of life. Its colonial economy was largely self-contained and was not reliant on slavery in the state or in any other states. From its beginning it produced surpluses for export. The state formed the first abolition society and its assembly was the first to ban slavery, so that by 1790 there were fewer than 4,000 enslaved persons in the state, with steep declines every decade after.
These initiatives are ridiculous and the people behind them should be banned from public life.

The ultimate aim is to erase from history any record that a sizeable number of white people were in active opposition to slavery for centuries prior to the Civil War. Why, widespread knowledge of such a fact belies The Narrative – that humans born without some arbitrary level of melanin in their skin are inherently racist.

None of that matters, all they see is a statue of a white man who lived 200+ years ago, so he’s automatically an evil racist. Same goes for any white person born when Jim Crow laws were in place. Doesn’t matter if you were 2 years old when desegregation happened, groids will think you were manning the firehouse, turning the dogs loose and giving wood shampoos to MLK and Rosa Parks in Selma, Alabama.

As I have said before, if you’re blaming all your failures in life, or are having your feelings hurt by a 100+ year old statue, you have much bigger issues. Most of these idiots have no idea who these statues are of, or what they did.

Adeline Chicongo: It seems an assistant principal at an area public school has been charged with stealing $273,000 from the after school program.
Tracy Canty-Robinson allegedly wrote checks to herself from the funding.
If the money had been used as intended, would it be any better spent? I doubt it.
Lock the b####h up,yeah, but she probably helped more downtrodden negroes( like her lay about thug bf?) than the original program would have.

I should add I only partially agree with this comment. The Jews are certainly behind it,but it’d be very difficult to do tikkan olem(?) w/o hordes of pig whites. Our faggot Congress, clergy, celebrities, white women, granola crunching literal idiots,(remember that white male thing that cried to the cops about their arresting some negro thug? Crying, literally.)

White people can become a “thing” here in the USA,but it will always be bitterly opposed by the other whites. Just how it is.

The flag of Minnesota has been redone and that probably won’t be the only one. Eventually the change will include the name of the state as well. During the Summer of Saint Floyd the DC government proposed renaming the city as the Douglass Commonwealth in honor of the black abolitionist. It didn’t happen then but I’m sure the idea has not been abandoned.

What could Minnesota be called? In recognition of reality, New Somalia would be very appropriate.

The filthy Lutherans were the ones responsible for bringing those filthy Somalis to that neck of the woods. The white female bitch in charge was pulling a 400k salary.
We can thank that evil bastard Bush the first for bringing them here in the first place.

I should only add the same, I agree with you, but not entirely.
Or, to be more precise, the agreement is solid, but requires some qualification.

That I do agree with you is exactly why I prefer to refer to Jewish Supremacy as Supremacy Inc. because that subsumes white useful idiots and poc proxies. However, the point still stands, those whites are simply doing what people the world over have been doing since forever – sucking up to power. Also, they have no more institutional power or cultural control than whites like us who have nothing but contempt them.

White people can become a “thing” here in the USA,but it will always be bitterly opposed by the other whites. Just how it is.

I agree with you here too. Though White is a racial descriptor, it is still possible (though unlikely) that they could make the leap to organized culture group capable of acting in its own interests. All that would be needed for that to happen is a critical mass, making the bitterly opposed whites irrelevant. Though their own actions, based entirely on opportunism and cowardice, are fast making them irrelevant as we speak. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch of bootlicking bottom-feeders.

  62. Whites simply set the achievement bar too high. You replacement demographic had no interest in nor any ability to maintain western civilization. They will put up their own statues, their own monuments to mediocrity.
It’s no surprise that these markers of society are disappearing quicker than fried chicken at Devonte and Shaniqua’s wedding dinner.

  63. Just asking, will they rename Pennsylvania? After all, it was named after William Penn’s father.

“Degeneracy” implies a fall from some better state. These creatures have never been in a better state. This is just what they are, and always have been.
