Wait, wasn’t this already implemented as our new National Anthem and hasn’t it already usurped Francis Scott Key’s work?[Dem Whip James Clyburn to Propose Making “Black National Anthem” Official US National Hymn to “Bring the Country Together”, Gateway Pundit.com, January 12, 2021]:

House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) said he will propose to make the “Black National Anthem” the official US hymn in an effort to “bring the country together.”

“To make it a national hymn, I think, would be an act of bringing the country together. It would say to people, ‘You aren’t singing a separate national anthem, you are singing the country’s national hymn,’ ” Clyburn told USA Today.

Via USA Today:

U.S. Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., wants a song about faith and resilience long revered in the Black community to become the national hymn and help unite the country after centuries of racial turmoil.

Clyburn, the House majority whip, plans to introduce a measure as early as this week that would make “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” known as the Black national anthem, the national hymn and give it a special place alongside the country’s anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Didn’t the NFL play the Black National Anthem twenty minutes before Francis Scott Key’s U.S. National Anthem during opening week of the 2020 season?

Yes they did, and that was before every game.

Black-Run America (BRA) was a joke of a term more than a decade ago. It’s now reality.

  1. This would be the most honest national anthem.

  2. PK (and the regular posters) called this years ago so it’s not surprising really. You’ll be seeing the red, green and black American flag much more too. Meanwhile the blue-line American flag is being labeled as a symbol of “white supremacy” {snicker} and will probably be outlawed soon. I might as well buy some stickers and patches before it’s outright banned. And thanks for all the recent concern. I still read SBPDL almost every day. It is not an American flag. The American flag has a blue field, 50 white stars and 13 red and white stripes. It does not have a blue line. The flag you describe is a flag of blue supremacy and should be banned. Cops are not white or black, they are blue and only serve the government, not the people. Cops hate whites just as much as they hate blacks. Don't trust a word out of a cop's mouth. They are trained liars.
  3. While our esteemed Congress is entertaining turning our national anthem into a jukebox of the top 10 dumbest hits, let’s add Clyburn’s version of Zipity-Do-Da with a video of him singing to Briar Rabbit.

  6. In one of the few Political Science classes I took in college, the professor explained that the FIRST reaction of American voters to nonsense by The Government is “The Withdrawal of Support Channel”. That is, citizens merely refuse to cooperate. There is some magic threshold (30% ???) below which Government demands simply have no effect.

White Americans aren’t going to participate in, or even actively support, violent opposition to Government bureaucrats. We simply ignore what the people on the 6 o’clock News think is “vital to change”.

  7. Irving Berlin’s ‘God Bless America’ would undoubtedly be a better national anthem if we need a national anthem at all. The lyrics praise the country not besmirch it as something evil which is what the simian Clyburn’s tune does.

Clyburn is part of the Democrat gerontocracy and with only a few neurons still firing in what is left of his primitive brain, he thinks its still 1960. The Civil Rights era is over and what we are dealing with today is not systemic racism or oppression but the negroes inability to function in a modern society.

  8. I’m just worried about when this black worship becomes the norm in South America. You’ll have 3 continents where black people are put on a pedestal (Africa, South America and NorthAmerica).

Eurasia better be be worried about that future (I’m talking to you Russia, China and EU).

There’s already this problem in Brazil and Colombia. Brazil is 45% Euro and 45% mixed/mestizo and 10% black. But now lefties in Brazil are saying all mixed people are black as well to boost the numbers and their victim status. After Bolsonaro there will be a blackening of the Brazil institutions like never before. The US will look tame in comparison.

Then there’s Colombia which is like 18% Black and growing. They will copy Brazil and do black worship. So will the rest of South America follow.

The only hold outs will be majority Indio nations like Bolivia and Ecuador because they have a comparable victim status as Indios.

Mexico will also succumb to the new order as they will be surrounded. Right now Mexico is like 3% black. I would not be shocked if it increases to 10% in the next 15 years due to the Caribbean immigration like Haiti and Jamaica.

The future looks bleak but I wonder how China will deal with this as they become the new economic center everyone moves to.

Even Chile which once restricted asian immigration severely and outright prohibited blacks from entering the country now has a black population of over 200.000 Haitians and Columbians. Of the Haitians presently not much is seen outside the poor neighborhoods which they have infected, but the Columbians play a major role in the drug fueled gang warfare in various neighborhoods. This is beginning to change, as recently there have been fights between Haitian and Columbian street vendors of mostly stolen goods. Chile has its own, large underclass (probably 35% of the population) and criminal problems -- now they are importing the puke of the Carribian thanks to policies put in place by the ultra socialist Michelle Bachelet who today holds a highly paid position in the UN Human Rights organisation.

  9. I told a friend of over a decade if racism is a learned behavior, it was taught to me by the blacks that surrounded me. He was raised upper-middle-class in a neighborhood “on the poor side of the country club” (his words, not mine), a literal two or three blacks at school and no experience surrounded by blacks. His daughter is now a son, not old enough to drive and on hormones readying for the surgical transition.

Democrats AND republicans lie like rugs, stamp their feet and screech about racism and “white supremacy” because they are intellectually dishonest, morally bankrupt or willfully thick-headed. AOC proposes funding to deprogram white supremacists
    January 15, 2021 | 11:41pm

“There are people who are radicalized right now,’ AOC said at a town hall on Jan. 15, 2021.

The federal government needs to fund the de-programming of white supremacists and conspiracy theorists, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said Friday night.

“The White supremacist cause is futile, it’s nihilist,” AOC, a Democrat who represents parts of The Bronx and Queens, said during a virtual town hall meeting Friday night.

“Their world will never exist. That’s why we’re seeing violence right now.,” she said, speaking in the wake of the violent siege on the US Capitol by radical supporters of President Trump.

“We have to pick up those pieces.”

Ocasio-Cortez said the House subcommittee on civil rights she serves on has held hearings over the prior two years on white supremacy and said there are programs to “de-radicalize” brain-washed adherents.

But she said funding was not a priority for those programs during the Trump years.

“There are people who are radicalized right now. It’s going to take a very long time to de-radicalize these people and a lot of effort,” she said.

“This is a problem that doesn’t go away on Jan. 20,” said the congresswoman, referring to when Trump leaves the White House and is succeeded by President-elect Joe Biden.

She said many fringe radicals operate in a “misinformation bubble” and it will take more than more than one conversation to de-program them, likening it to therapy.

But, she said, research has shown “healing is possible.”

“We need to double, triple or quadruple the funding for these programs,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

AOC said there is a spectrum of radicalization that ranges from sympathizers to conspiracy theorists, to Neo-Nazis. Such radical ideology could lead to violence and domestic terrorism.

She said the conspiracy theory wrongly pushed by Trump that the election was stolen from him radicalized his supporters who invaded the Capitol last week, leading to violence and the death of five people. AOC said she felt her life was threatened.

A US Army Air Corps fighter group consisted of three to four squadrons of 12 to 14 aircraft at normal strength. The 332nd Fighter Squadron 'Red Tails' actually only numbered 77 combat-qualified pilots.

The black 477th Bombardment Group flying B-25 medium bombers was still in training at Freeman Field near Seymour, Indiana in May of 1945 when the war in Europe ended. The unit was never deployed overseas, but the officer pilots in training did stage a major protest over not being granted access to the officer's club.

Several decades ago my late father, a veteran of the air war in the Pacific, went to an event honoring WW II vets at the huge Constitution Hall in DC. A lady speaker talked about this or that battle, units, operations, etc. She talked about the Tuskegee Airmen and went on and on and on, and then on and on some more, and then still more. She said nothing at all in recognition of those who fought the air war in the Pacific except for briefly mentioning the atomic bombings and the end of the war. I was off in the military myself at the time but later my mother told me how my father came home incensed at all of the praise that the one black unit received and how so many others were completely ignored. He said, "Hell, if they were so great, they should have been sent to the Pacific and the rest of us could have gone home!"

    Separations, not reparations!

Folks who enlist in the military (in my time) had to make the rank of E-5 within 10 years or they were given their walking papers and around $10k to ease the transition back to civvy street. I believe commissioned officers who didn't make O-4 were given around $50k.

We should have separations not reparations, and all these blacks can take their fat cash to Africa where they can invest in all black communities where there is no evil YT racism. Perhaps they would open stores with thick, bulletproof glass? Wow, maybe even an African hair braiding salon!

Don’t trust a word out of a cop’s mouth. They are trained liars.

  30. In the first place, we don’t need any official anthem, and did not have one until 1931, when some Maryland chauvinist pushed it through Congress. (If you want to see attacks on “The Star-Spangled Banner”, read the public letters from patriotic fans of “America the Beautiful” that followed. Lynn Sherr’s book on the song quotes a few.)

Before 1931, we had a plethora of unofficial anthems. Each of us could choose his own. We should go back to that. Official anthems are like official languages– once you have one, there is pressure for more.

One thing that the “black” anthem has in common with the official one is that neither mentions God until the final verse. Irving Berlin was an unpleasant character, but the Creator is the first word of his anthem.

I'm just worried about when this black worship becomes the norm in South America. You'll have 3 continents where black people are put on a pedestal (Africa, South America and NorthAmerica).

Eurasia better be be worried about that future (I'm talking to you Russia, China and EU).

There's already this problem in Brazil and Colombia.

Then there's Colombia which is like 18% Black and growing.

Thanks. I see that there is another wave of nonsense about the Tuskegee Airmen coming. It is all propaganda. The blacks got our best fighters of the war the Packard/Merlin powered P-51 Mustang. There were three great late war fighters - Th P-38, the P-47 and the P-51. The first two were turbocharged and expensive but the P-51 was cheap and cost effective. All the pilots who flew them did well against even the late war Nazi Fw 190 Dora - the best Nazi fighter of the war. Except the Tuskegee Airmen.

Every white unit that flew P-51s had many Aces. Every unit except the black unit which flew under different rules of engagement. There were no Tuskegee Airmen Aces. None. The reason was simple few blacks ever saw a Nazi fighter. Most of the black pilots who escorted our bombers flew into Germany unopposed. They flew in clear skies over central Germany with nary a Nazi plane in sight. But that isn't the story that keeps getting repeated.

Our bomber pilots liked having the black pilots escort them. They recognized that the white pilots were under orders to engage and destroy all Nazi fighters as part of the Pointblank initiative. All except the black unit. These were kept from engaging. They were protected by political decisions made in Washington.

AOC proposes funding to deprogram white supremacists
    January 15, 2021 | 11:41pm

"There are people who are radicalized right now,' AOC said at a town hall on Jan.

  56. Some people worry too much. Everything almost anyone says about negroes as a comment on this blog is more or less right. That’s largely because black people are indeed the race of crime and depravity. No wait, that’s an exaggeration. I should say “a race” not “the race”. The Maori seem to have the same genetic defect as African blacks (low MAOA repeaters). Australian Aborigines are even more stupid. But the only Maori I’ve ever met was Kiri Te Kanawa and I’ve never met an Aborigine at all.

I’ve known many Amerindians and my best friend in college was an Eskimo. Among the deeply inferior races however, Americans blacks are pretty much my only personal experience.

The thing to remember is that if the present unpleasant events erupt into some kind of shooting war, blacks are going to lose. I know because of history and my time in the army. First of all blacks always harp on their race’s experiences as slaves and how terrible it was. This is just ignorance. Blacks had far less experience than whites as slaves. How can anyone miss this elementary point?

Slavery was an institution that existed between the Neolithic Revolution and the Industrial Revolution. Before agriculture was invented no one kept slaves. After farm equipment was mass produced no one bother with keeping slaves. Free men are said to produce three times as much as slaves. The Rust Cotton Spindle allowed 1 man to do the work of 25 humans – free or slave. The only slavery of any consequence today is sex slavery and most domestic sex slavery in the US is controlled by black pimps.

So who were the slaves? They were those who fought their neighbors and lost. The Romans enslaved the Germans. This is until Arminius defeated the Romans in the Teutoburger forest. Germans haven’t been slaves ever since.

Africans – like all other people – used slaves only after their Neolithic Revolution – that is after hunting gathering people began agriculture. The first place this this happened was among the white people in the Fertile Crescent about eight thousand years ago. Then it spread to Egypt, the Indus valley and China. Sub Saharan Africa only got the Neolithic Revolution about three thousand years ago. Africa has only had slavery for a comparatively short period – less than half as long as most of the other places on Earth. Some primitive tribes like the Andaman Negritoes or Australian Aborigines have never been slaves because hunter gatherers just kill and eat the losers of their wars. They are too primitive to have had slavery.

African blacks are stupid which means they lose almost all military conflicts with other peoples. Three of the smartest peoples on Earth are the Germans, the Italians and the Japanese. It is not a coincidence that these three countries did so well in the beginning of WWII until they were crushed by larger populations and greater resources. I hate the Nazis but the historians say one Nazi infantryman was about 40% more effective than an Allied soldier.

I was in the American Army during the Viet Nam War. But our guy Robert McNamara believed in stupidity. He brought in what came to be known a McNamara’s Morons. He lowered the Army IQ requirements. The Nazis brought in their smartest and best young men. We gave our best deferments. I was there. I was surrounded by dummies. We lost that war. The better soldiers beat the dummies. A more sensible policy would have been to recruit those who wanted to go to college and give the some kind of GI Bill – not drain the military of talent. If all the current unpleasantness turns into an actual shooting war – there will be casualties – but the white/black exchange rate will strongly favor whites.

If you want to worry about something, don’t worry about war with black people. There are two issues that are serious and inevitable. First of all a few years ago Al Gore needed a cause to run on for President. He chose Global Warming. Many people think Gore was a scientist and that’s why he was worried about the environment. No Gore was a Divinity student in school. He was obsessed with the apocalyptic vision of a ruined world. It fit with his bible thumping world view.

Global Warming is real in the sense that CO2 does tend to warm the planet but the scale of this so called crisis, is way off. The Earth’s temperature was first estimated or measured in 1750 (before America even existed). Today it’s warmer – exactly one degree warmer. That’s the science. The Democrats’ talk about runaway warming is not science. It is a political ploy to keep the public off balance. We are in the middle of an Ice Age – The Holocene Ice Age. We have been in it for thirty million years. It is believed to be caused by orbital perturbations called the Milankovitch cycles. The pattern is that there are about 100,000 years of ice and then a warm 12,000 year interglacial. We have good knowledge of the last five interglacials. All five of them were warmer than our current one. So the scenarios about our mild warming running away is very unlikely.

If you want to worry about something serious and inevitable, worry about the end the interglacial – the return of the ice. It should kill a majority of humankind.

No one knows exactly when it will start getting colder – some think it already has. But there is another big issue to trouble you if that is your taste. Most of the readership will live to see the day when machine intelligence surpasses human intelligence. Assuming that hasn’t happened already.

Serious scholars predict that machines will achieve what they call superintelligence soon . When that happens the fate of the human race will be in its hands. If it chooses to exterminate all people or just one or more races or nations – there is nothing we can do about it. Has the day when the machines are smarter than we are (or can be) already passed? We wouldn’t know it if it didn’t want us to know. Personally since I can’t do anything about it, I don’t worry.

We are smarter than Blacks because we have about five cubic inches more gray matter in our frontal lobes. That means a whole bunch more connections. I don’t know exactly how many nodes that is, but however much it is, the Internet has more – or soon will.

Not I.  Normally at this time of year, I have at least a foot of snow on the ground.  There's barely a dusting, and I had thaw conditions for the previous few days.

I had a near-record dump (by weight, not by volume) in the spring a year or two ago.  What fell wasn't snow, but sleet.  A "polar vortex" tongue of cold air was overrun by a very wet tropical air mass which dumped almost a foot of freezing rain.  The only reason the upper air mass could carry so much water is because it was WARM.  Think about it.

If the Milankovic forcings are trending towards cooler, they are being over-ridden by other forcings in the direction of warming.

Some people worry too much. Everything almost anyone says about negroes as a comment on this blog is more or less right. That's largely because black people are indeed the race of crime and depravity. No wait, that's an exaggeration. I should say "a race" not "the race". The Maori seem to have the same genetic defect as African blacks (low MAOA repeaters). Australian Aborigines are even more stupid. But the only Maori I've ever met was Kiri Te Kanawa and I've never met an Aborigine at all.

I've known many Amerindians and my best friend in college was an Eskimo. Among the deeply inferior races however, Americans blacks are pretty much my only personal experience.

The thing to remember is that if the present unpleasant events erupt into some kind of shooting war, blacks are going to lose. I know because of history and my time in the army. First of all blacks always harp on their race's experiences as slaves and how terrible it was.

The Rust Cotton Spindle allowed 1 man to do the work of 25 humans - free or slave.

Germans haven't been slaves ever since.

Africans - like all other people - used slaves only after their Neolithic Revolution - that is after hunting gathering people began agriculture. The first place this this happened was among the white people in the Fertile Crescent about eight thousand years ago. Then it spread to Egypt, the Indus valley and China. Sub Saharan Africa only got the Neolithic Revolution about three thousand years ago. Africa has only had slavery for a comparatively short period - less than half as long as most of the other places on Earth.

He brought in what came to be known a McNamara's Morons. He lowered the Army IQ requirements. The Nazis brought in their smartest and best young men. We gave our best deferments. I was there. I was surrounded by dummies. We lost that war. The better soldiers beat the dummies. A more sensible policy would have been to recruit those who wanted to go to college and give the some kind of GI Bill - not drain the military of talent. If all the current unpleasantness turns into an actual shooting war - there will be casualties - but the white/black exchange rate will strongly favor whites.

If you want to worry about something, don't worry about war with black people. There are two issues that are serious and inevitable. First of all a few years ago Al Gore needed a cause to run on for President. He chose Global Warming. Many people think Gore was a scientist and that's why he was worried about the environment. No Gore was a Divinity student in school. He was obsessed with the apocalyptic vision of a ruined world. It fit with his bible thumping world view.

All human civilization has taken place in this little sliver of time called the Holocene Interglacial. After the Younger Dryas the Earth rapidly warmed. The oceans rose something like 200 feet worldwide when the great ice sheets melted. It has been warm now for about 12,000 years. This is not normal. It is normal for mile thick ice sheets to cover most of North America and Asia. Those conditions are returning - it's just not clear exactly when. If it's another hundred years or so, few today will care. But there is some evidence apparently that the return to our normal glacial maximum conditions can happen fast. Some think that process has already begun.

The previous interglacial was called the Eemian. It was warmer than this one and also lasted about twelve thousand years. The 12,000 period has been the pattern for the last five interglacials. I hope all of this is wrong. I have about three weeks of emergency supplies. I would have real difficulty riding out a hundred thousand year cold snap.

They would usually target illegals, because they typically got paid in cash and wouldn't risk reporting it to the police. They target Asians like that as well, not because of their immigration status, but because they tend to keep large amounts of cash in their homes, and usually run cash heavy businesses like dry cleaners, take out counters, and smaller food stores. It was a big issue in San Francisco a while back, although now it seems like most crime has been legalized there, especially if your skin is darker than a paper bag, or a drug addict.

    Replies: @Patrick Boyle

Thanks. I see that there is another wave of nonsense about the Tuskegee Airmen coming. It is all propaganda. The blacks got our best fighters of the war the Packard/Merlin powered P-51 Mustang. There were three great late war fighters – Th P-38, the P-47 and the P-51. The first two were turbocharged and expensive but the P-51 was cheap and cost effective. All the pilots who flew them did well against even the late war Nazi Fw 190 Dora – the best Nazi fighter of the war.

But that isn’t the story that keeps getting repeated.

Our bomber pilots liked having the black pilots escort them. They recognized that the white pilots were under orders to engage and destroy all Nazi fighters as part of the Pointblank initiative. All except the black unit. These were kept from engaging. They were protected by political decisions made in Washington.

It is shoehorned into one of the chapters where he is recalling his time as a WW2 pilot. The paragraph itself seems out of place with the rest of his narrative, but still ended up in the published book.

That's SCAREY! I am imagining enough lawsuits to tie up and persecute all manner of white people in enormous numbers. I also bet the 40 million came from a white person, or estate. Otherwise from some "woke" corporation. We are constantly stabbed in the back by our own race.

These lawyers dedicating 8 years to "racial justice" are just another reason why I feel blacks in America are a fifth column of anti Americans in our midst. Of course we also have (((others))) inside our midst who are as treacherous, or more so. Then there are out right terrorists who belong to a violent political cult disguised as a religion. It's a wonder all Caucasians are not total paranoids, but we are not paranoid if so many fears come true, and are created by those in our midst. Still, I see white, backstabbing, socialist/elitist/liberal/leftists as my worst enemies.

My idea of "social justice" for white people would be separation from black criminals for all who wish it. That may not be possible without complete separation. If so, then that will be fine with me.

Probably not for a long time.  We are dangerously close to levels of warmth at which C3 plant life becomes net respirators; that happens at an average daily temperature of about 18°C.  C4 plants (grasses) have this turnover at 24°C.  At that point warming is a self-reinforcing feedback loop.  Then you have the "clathrate gun", which can blow gigatonnes of methane (a very potent greenhouse gas) out of permafrost and ocean-bed deposits.  That also is self-reinforcing.

There's suspicion among climate scientists that a major driver of deglaciation was, ironically, the fresh water pressed down into sedimentary rocks like shales by the glaciers themselves.  This fresh water activated dormant methanogenic bacteria.  As the ice started to melt at the margins, this water was free to escape and carry the dissolved methane with it, heating the atmosphere and leading to more deglaciation.

If methane released by melting glaciers can kick Earth's temperature up, methane from anything else will do the same.

Then there's Colombia which is like 18% Black and growing.

Chile has its own, large underclass (probably 35% of the population) and criminal problems — now they are importing the puke of the Carribian thanks to policies put in place by the ultra socialist Michelle Bachelet who today holds a highly paid position in the UN Human Rights organisation.

I see you subscribe to the "tipping point" hypothesis. These notions are not mainstream science. It seems to me that these various scenarios are just ad hoc additions to the warming hysteria agenda. There has been almost no actual warming. One degree in more than two hundred years. People have personal impressions of greater warmth today than some cold winter they remember from their childhood, but the actual measurements have always been disappointing for those who push the warming agenda. So instead of pointing to real greater warmth they have substituted these speculations about sudden runaway self sustaining warming after we pass some point. These ideas seem strained. They seem desperate.

Climate obviously changes. Before warming became a political weapon for the Democrats everyone assumed warm times were better times. The Roman ( and Chinese) points of their greatest accomplishments in ancient times are known to history as The Roman Warm Period or Roman Climate Optimum. It was warmer then than now, but it did not kick off any tipping point with runaway warming. The subsequent Dark Ages that befell Rome (and China) were cold. The current Holocene Interglacial is the coolest of the last five interglacials. Yet none of those warmer periods spontaneously breached some critical tipping point and initiated runaway warming. It just didn't happen.

Worrying about warming seems silly. For example the popular press continuously publishes articles about how we are losing land as the seas rise and islands slip beneath the waves. I suggest that they consider looking at the shape of the Northern Hemisphere. One third of Russia is above the artic circle. Almost all Canadians live just a few miles north of the US/Canadian border. Canada gets bigger and wider the further north you go. If the world actually did get warmer, Russia and Canada would gain huge tracts of useable land. Who cares about a few low islands? Warmth means more land, not less. It also means more food. The American Great Plains feeds the world. The Great Plains in Canada is greater yet. It just needs to warm up a bit more, and it will, but first we will have another Laurentide Ice Sheet for a hundred thousand years or so.

The line that led to humans split off from apes about seven million years ago. We had already been in our current Ice Age for more than twenty million years when that occurred. That took place in Africa because it was one of the few places warm enough for us to develop properly. We are still in that same Ice Age and we will sooner or later go back to Africa. Americans though will undoubtedly relocate to Brazil and points nearby in Central and South America.. The Russians, Europeans and Chinese will probably go to Africa.

It just didn’t happen.

I see you subscribe to the “tipping point” hypothesis. These notions are not mainstream science.

Holy FUCK man, don't you pay attention to the actual science?  The Milankovic forcings are far smaller than the actual changes between glacials and interglacials.  There are MAJOR reinforcings involved.  If those rein-forcings are produced independently (and they are), they WILL override the normal cycle.  And THEY ARE.  We SHOULD be in a cooling phase.  As you yourself acknowledge, we are in a WARMING phase.

Why can't you grasp that things have changed, and we need to deal with that?

Climate obviously changes. Before warming became a political weapon for the Democrats everyone assumed warm times were better times.

Oh, FFS man.  Too much warming is as bad as too much cooling, and climate scientists have been warning against this since the 1930's.  It's possible you remember The Bell Telephone Hour when it was first broadcast.  The episode The Unchained Goddess was all over this issue 3 decades before it became a political football.  Why do you politicize what is a purely scientific issue, just because pols have hitched their wagons to it?

It was warmer then than now, but it did not kick off any tipping point with runaway warming.

Because it wasn't hot enough to kick off feedback effects.  We're seeing those feedbacks NOW.  Get a grip.

    Worrying about warming seems silly.

Unless you have a clue about how the Sahara turned from forest to desert, and how Nebraska's sand dunes turned to arable grassland and are on course to turn back.  IF you have a clue.

Warmth means more land, not less. It also means more food.

It means more spaces with thin soils which have to be cleared of forests before they can be farmed.  This is not a good recipe for sustainability.  We should try to keep things as they were a few decades ago.

Check out Chuck Yeager’s biography “Yeager”. He talks about the Tuskegee Airmen in it, for about a paragraph. It is shoehorned into one of the chapters where he is recalling his time as a WW2 pilot. The paragraph itself seems out of place with the rest of his narrative, but still ended up in the published book.

Why is America so fascinated with African culture that has contributed virtually nothing to the world but horrible amounts of violent crime. Every Black run Country is a cesspool.

I honestly think the U.S. is making a Nationwide version of the movie Trading places.

James Clyburn is not fully Woke and not completely down with the struggle against whiteness.

Otherwise, Rep. Clyburn would have picked the obvious choice for the new national anthem.

“……must commit to 8 years of racial justice work.”

That’s SCAREY! I am imagining enough lawsuits to tie up and persecute all manner of white people in enormous numbers. I also bet the 40 million came from a white person, or estate. Otherwise from some “woke” corporation. We are constantly stabbed in the back by our own race.

These lawyers dedicating 8 years to “racial justice” are just another reason why I feel blacks in America are a fifth column of anti Americans in our midst. Of course we also have (((others))) inside our midst who are as treacherous, or more so. Then there are out right terrorists who belong to a violent political cult disguised as a religion. It’s a wonder all Caucasians are not total paranoids, but we are not paranoid if so many fears come true, and are created by those in our midst. Still, I see white, backstabbing, socialist/elitist/liberal/leftists as my worst enemies.

My idea of “social justice” for white people would be separation from black criminals for all who wish it. That may not be possible without complete separation. If so, then that will be fine with me.
