The state of Minnesota is roughly 84 percent white and 6 percent black. The state of Minnesota puts out an incredible document entitled the Minnesota Uniform Crime Report, with the 2018 version now available for public consumption. It appears no news publication in St. Paul, Minneapolis or Duluth has been interested in analyzing the data within this report.

In 2018, there were 100 homicide arrests in the state of Minnesota (p. 56):

  • 46 of those arrested were black or 46 percent
  • 42 of those arrested were white or 42 percent

This means blacks were 15.2 times more likely than whites to be arrested for homicide in 2018 Minnesota.

In 2018, there were 985 arrests for robbery in the state of Minnesota (p. 57):

  • 684 of those arrested were black or 66 percent
  • 238 of those arrested were white or 24 percent

This means blacks were 39.2 times more likely than whites to be arrested for robbery in 2018 Minnesota.

Again, remember Minnesota is only six percent black. These reports are out there for every state and in many cases, for every major city in the United States. And not one newspaper or local news channel in Minnesota will dare publish the data, because we might start basing social policy (as we once did in the USA) on who/whom commits the crime to ensure the law-abiding receive protection.

It should be noted in 1990, the state was almost 95 percent white. The Great Replacement has consequences, and it won’t make the air clean, nor will the water be clean. Sorry, the dirt won’t be clean either. Bowling averages won’t go way up. Mini-golf scores aren’t going way down, and there will be zero excellent water slides. Instead, as social capital goes down, crime goes up.

Welcome to the new Minnesota.

  4. http://m.startribune.com/12-5-million-capri-theater-renovation-pinned-as-linchpin-to-north-minneapolis-revitalization/563569292/

Like the mythical Sankofa bird that looks at its past in order to go forward, the Capri Theater in north Minneapolis is literally and figuratively building on its storied history for the promise of community renewal.

Community leaders gathered last Thursday at the theater, where Prince had his first solo concert in 1979, to break ground on a 20,000-square-foot, $12.5 million wraparound renovation and expansion that’s expected to be completed in October 2020.

Young performers Imani Harris and Ramiyah Jackson, who attended an arts summer camp at the playhouse on Broadway, sang “O, Freedom” as philanthropic, corporate and government leaders applauded.

“There’s a lot of symbolism in this event because this community is literally rising again,” said Anne Long, longtime executive director of Plymouth Christian Youth Center (PCYC), which owns the Capri. The theater is one of three legs of the Christian agency, which also runs an alternative high school and an after-school program.

Designed by Minneapolis-based architecture firm Baker Associates, best known for creating car showrooms for the likes of Porsche and Jaguar, and built by D.J. Kranz Co. of Plymouth, the expansion includes renovation of the 250-seat main Capri auditorium with new backstage and dressing room areas.

A scene shop, a flexible performance hall that accommodates 100 and a Best Buy tech teen center — where young people can do everything from edit movies and record albums to 3-D printing — also are part of the renovations.

“This has been a long time coming, but they have been dedicated and steadfast,” said Reatha Clark King, former vice president of General Mills and retired president of the General Mills Foundation and Metropolitan State University. As head of the foundation, she authorized a $300,000 donation to the Capri in 1988, the first of many gifts.

“This is providing the platform to develop great talent and give young people ways to have a voice,” actor and arts teacher Dennis Spears said. “Young people have a lot to say, and when they don’t have creative outlets to say it, they get frustrated, which explains some violence.”

When completed, the facility also will include galleries, a dance studio and classrooms.

“For too long, this has been a drive-through culture,” Capri director James Scott said. “We want this place to be a destination again.”

That vision would return the street life to what it was a half-century ago when Broadway was one of the most vibrant commercial and cultural arteries outside of downtown Minneapolis. That was before white flight, urban renewal and a host of social challenges muddled that vitality.

The North Side has been making fitful progress over the past two decades, with community radio station KMOJ, Juxtaposition Arts, Homewood Studios and the Northside Achievement Zone serving as neighborhood anchors.

“This has been a great resource for the community,” said George Roberts, owner of Homewood Studios and a former teacher at North High School from 1970-2001. “Kids who struggled at North High found success here, and now there’ll be more opportunities for that.”

Support from sources such as Best Buy and the Pohlad Family Foundation have contributed to the Capri’s success.

“This is an investment in a place, but it’s as much about investing in the people,” said Susan Bass Roberts, who was in charge of Best Buy’s philanthropic programs before becoming executive director of the Pohlad foundation.

The effort also had consistent government support. The Capri raised more than $7 million privately, Long said. With great help from the city of Minneapolis, it closed on over $2 million in tax credits two days before the groundbreaking. And it’s still seeking to raise more than $1 million to complete the effort.

Attendees included Council Member Jeremiah Ellison, Hennepin County Commissioner Irene Fernando, former Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak, and current Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey.

At the groundbreaking, Frey nodded to the Prince concert: “Tickets were — guess how much? $4.”

Those making pilgrimages to Prince touchstones will want to stand on the Capri stage. The floorboards are the same ones from 1979.

Visual artist Heidi Jeub — whose great-grandfather Herman Jeub built the original theater, which opened as a vaudeville house in 1927 — also attended the ceremony, choking back tears. The family operated a store and lived in the same building just as the Depression hit.

“It is so emotional to be here right now,” Jeub said, as she collected original bricks that she intends to use for an art project with neighborhood storyteller Beverly Cottman. “I have an appreciation of the history but also an understanding of the changes that have happened since then.”

The only surviving vaudeville house of 13 theaters on Minneapolis’ North Side, the Capri has seen many names and changes over the years. Once the Paradise Theater, it was given its current name after a 1966 remodeling. The Wheelock Whitney Foundation donated the theater to PCYC in 1984. It was remodeled in 1993 and had a $700,000 refurbishment in 2009.

PCYC announced plans for a more ambitious renovation during the Great Recession. However, those dreams were put on hold for a decade while Long, her board and supporters worked quietly to bring them to fruition. Now that vision has folks excited.

“The Capri has been great in the past as an anchor and major cultural attraction in the neighborhood,” said Don Samuels, a former City Council member who lives just blocks away. “But it’s never been as grand or as big as what it’s now going to be. This is a true renaissance.”

    The new Capri

When completed a year from now, the new, 20,000-square-foot Capri Theater will include:

    • A renovated 250-seat auditorium.

    • New and expanded support spaces including dressing rooms, a catering kitchen and workshop space.

    • A Best Buy teen tech center.

    • A new great hall with flexible seating for over 100.

    • Classrooms for PCYC’s Arts & Technology High School.

    • A transit-oriented outdoor public plaza.

    • Green space that functions as a connecting point for the major W. Broadway/Penn Avenue intersection.

As “recreational” pot spreads across the USA, look for violent crime to skyrocket.

    Why?

Thesis: White people support legalizing pot because their experience with it is from college, where people who got stoned were passive, and the worst crime they committed while stoned was stealing their roommate’s potato chips.

Africans, however, biologically react differently to THC. It doesn’t make them passive and lethargic, it makes them even MORE impulsive than usual. Story after story about black criminals and violent crimes they committed describe how Dindu and Shitavicious smoked a blunt before walking into the 7-11 to rob it, and decided to shoot the clerk and three bystanders.

What if the long-ridiculed Reefer Madness contained a kernel of actual truth in it? What if weed is to black violent criminality as alcohol is to fist-fighting in an Irish bar?

I don’t know if this thesis is correct, but there’s ample reason to suspect it is. If so, look out.

PS: Ethanol is undoubtedly related to hyper-aggressiveness in certain individuals; I know first hand about this, and believe it is because it “turns off” the deliberative part of the brain, such that what’s left running the show is ALL impulse, hence why women are fools to drink in an environment where they may wake up the next morning and regret their impulse to get laid by some clown.

If this ersatz religion called Equalism (it’s a Cargo Cult, of course) lasts long enough, even Whitopia will have stores where you have to PAY FIRST, before you can so much as enter the shop, much less fondle the merchandise.

This will be seen as an appropriate accommodation the “advantaged” must offer so that the “disadvantaged” are not singled out for having to PAY FIRST.

All societies fall to their lowest common denominators.

This is why, as we know all too well, we can’t have nice things anymore.

80 years ago middle-class people bought solid hardwood furniture and lived in houses build to last a century. Now, middle-class people buy IKEA plastic veneer wood-like furniture, live in houses built to last a few decades and are the 20% of the populace that pays 99% of the taxes (not to mention being robbed blind, deaf and dumb by the Medical-Services/Medical-Insurance/Pharma complex.)

Until middle-class whites stop consenting to being robbed by parasites and grifters, all roads lead to ruin.

Oregon police have released body camera footage of the controversial arrest of a black college student who clashed with officers after they stopped her for allegedly riding her bike on the wrong side of the road.

The video, released by Oregon State Police on Monday, captured the Oct. 13 arrest of Genesis Hansen, a 21-year-old Oregon State University student who was pinned to the ground and dragged by two officers after refusing to answer their questions.

OSP said it was releasing the video in response to claims from critics, including the NAACP, who accused the officers of using excessive force and targeting the young woman because she is black.

  16. Note that 31 of the 119 criminal homicides in that year (2017, not 2018) were not cleared.  That means that no suspect was identified.

If those 31 homicides were black-on-black (which is almost certain due to “no snitching”), then the total black-committed homicide count jumps 67%, from 46 to 77.

  17. @unit472

“Police aren’t as good at clearing murders and robberies committed by negroes.”

Nothing to do with the competency of the police force.

Blacks won’t rat out other blacks. No witnesses. No leads. Low clearance rates.

These statistics always have the caveat “where the race of the perpetrator is known”. One can assume the demographics of the unknowns is not representative of the general population nor representative of the subset of murderers. The unknowns are going to be mostly black.

White murders have a clear motive like significant financial gain or revenge. A likely suspect is often someone known to the victim. The suspect typically has a life and people will notice if he disappears.

Black murders often have no motive or trivial motives like disrespect, sneakers, etc if a motive can be discerned at all. The murderer is often a stranger or it could be any other black that the victim knows or doesn’t know. The killer can disappear without anyone noticing. So there is no way to connect things and clear the case.

If work is the physical kind, you know where effort is expelled throughout the day, unless it is a sport, Dindu ain’t there.

  26. @Sick of Orcs

Only if no blacks worked there. Otherwise, they’d be selling stuff out the back door like crazy or stealing it for their famblies. As is, you just know there’d be some black sow wearing a collar who’d get her head blown off because she was too stupid to understand what was going on. Then, the fambly would be claiming the store was racist, she didn’t do nuthin’, sumbody put those po’k chops in her underwear- we gonna sue!” Or they’d claim a thief paid for the item(s) and the clerk “jus’ didn’t scan dat stuff right! Y’all murdered her!” Then, of course, there’d be all the lawsuits over disparate impact because white customers at white stores don’t have to wear the collars.

Anyway, the immediate effect of such a policy would be that the ghetto blacks would run to white stores that didn’t have the collars and the shoplifting rates at those stores would skyrocket into the stratosphere. The ghetto stores would close in no time or be burned to the ground by outraged hoodrats.

There are liquor stores in my town (in black areas) where the customer enters an enclosed foyer, tells the clerk what they want, pays for it and then and only then receives the item. They aren’t allowed into the store itself. That works with a small purchase like a bottle of whiskey but wouldn’t work with a grocery store where numerous items are being purchased at one time. Blacks would try to claim they got home and “da ten dolla’s of chicken I bought wuzn’t in da bags. You owes me!” Each transaction would have to be recorded so that when a liar came back, all the store would have to do is look at the time stamp on the receipt and run the tape to see the truth. Even that wouldn’t stop the chimping as some would claim, “Hell naw! Y’all done edited da tape! Gibs me muh munny back!” Such lying scam artists would get a lot of support in the black community and there’d be mass protests outside the store.

The best thing is for whites and others to not even bother trying to operate a store in a black area. Let them fend for themselves. Besides, blacks already claim that any non black operating a store in a black area are racists and “jus’ takin’ advantage of black folks and feedin’ off da hood.”

Can someone please tell us what makes people think so differently.

My answer to your question is found in the juncture between Kahneman’s Thinking Fast and Slow, Oakley’s Cold-Blooded Kindness and Prechter’s Socionomics.

tl:dr version… Our cognitive processes do not work as we think they do. Most of our “thinking” is done by the always-on, low-energy, quick-and-dirty, impulsive part of our mind. It is closely related to the processes associated with emotion and sense-of-self found mostly in the limbic system of the brain, which is the seat of herding behavior…which dominates human social behavior.

This means that most of our thinking is simply not rational. The higher-energy, slower cognitive process, System 2, mostly is invoked to provide rationalizations for what the faster-but-less-accurate part, System 1, already concluded. The smarter the person, the better the rationalizations. This is why smart people still believe utterly irrational crap.

Expecting humans to think rationally is akin to expecting a frog to take wing and fly south. We’re simply not designed to do that.

Once you embrace this theory, a whole lot of history and “news” suddenly becomes explicable. For me, this holds some promise to stop tilting at windmills.

To wit, the “woman enraged at wrong happy meal order who threw food at employees and then got hit with a blender” story linked to this one about a black woman who got enraged over having to wait in line at a McDonald’s drive thru so she attacked the manager (who was a gay white guy) at the window with a stun gun (and said he was getting what he deserved because he voted for Trump–just in case you thought the Dem nominee was going to get anything less than 99% of the black vote in 2020).

The genius thought he got away scot free since he stole their cellphones and left them on the side of the road (“they can’t call 911 now”). Of course, when they did get a hold of the police, it took them just 2 hours to find the car and capture the thief at a local motel.

    “He stole their cell phones.”

Anyone who sits in front of a TeeVee all day and night will learn that criminals carry phones and talk on them all the time.

It never occurs to anyone (esp. the writers) that cell phones triangulate periodically (ping cell towers) and that record is permanent.

A murder occurs at this address at this time. All the cops need to do (and they DO do this) is pull the cell tower data which lists every phone within a few feet of that address at that time. It’s a nice, short list of people to interview, most of the time.

The trope of the “burner phone” is just as laughable. One would have to (1) buy it for cash (2) from a store that has no video surveillance and (3) never turn that phone on (A) anywhere where you normally are found or (B) anywhere where your REGULAR phone is pinged.

    Yeah. Not going to happen.

The only time violent crimes aren’t cleared now is when the cops have no desire to clear them. Otherwise, each and every one of us (down to grade school kids) has consented to wear a universal tracking device all day, every day, and our location at 4 PM today will be trivially searchable in 2050 or 2070 (unless the sky falls.)

  40. @Jake Surtes

Are you unaware that folks smoke weed presently? It is easy to get.

Do you think that legalization has no effect on use?

The storefronts now advertising CBD oil are outnumbered only by those offering video poker. When weed gets fully legal in IL (in January) should I expect to see more people smoking weed?

After all, we’re surrounded by rationalizations informing us that weed is wonderful! No cancer, no COPD, it cures cancer, enhances sex, lowers blood pressure….why, I’m sure there’s nothing that’s not better when stoned. At least as far as “the news” goes on the subject.

It’s fascinating to watch a mass mania in action, knowing that I could write the follow-up articles (hand-wringing about all the disasters that will come downstream) today for publication in a few years.

My parents (lifelong smokers) told me that the ill health effects of cigarettes were well-known back in the 1940’s. It took a couple decades for the studies to accumulate and a new Mass Mania (anti-tobacco) to arise. The wave of weed will follow a similar trajectory.

I don’t smoke (tobacco or weed or anything.) Why? As I told my sons, the reason I don’t use any of that crap (and only rarely have a single serving of alcohol) is that I already find this life to require MORE mental capacity and acuity than I have, so I can’t spare any at all.

I have two college degrees and qualify for a “high IQ” society 10 times more selective than MENSA, yet I cannot spare a tiny bit of capacity.

No one ASKED you about your (alleged) credentials, “Astonished”. Besides, on another blog, you claimed to be a “public school teacher in a mostly white, blue-collar area”. So who are you trying to kid?

    Is DC also ‘astonished?”

That just jogged my memory. Years ago, I briefly worked with a guy named Mensa. Black guy, naturally; Whites usually don’t give their offspring such haughty, aspiring names. Anyway, one day, Mensa took a floppy disk, and instead of putting it in the upper drive or the lower drive of his computer, shoved it in the little gap in between the two disk drives.

They had to call tech support to come take the computer apart, to get it out. At the time, I didn’t know what “Mensa” meant, but some of my more knowledgable coworkers were laughing about it. When they told me what it was, I really appreciated the irony.

I don’t think he was with the company for long. I moved to a different department after a couple months, but I heard he was constantly screwing up one thing or another.

  44. There is a catagory for graffiti / swastikas… And its yuge.

Dissapointed the “huwhite” classification isnt hroken down by Arab, mestizo, etal.

They go through alot of effort to disect murder, but stop disection when you hit rape, robbery assault.

As most here know if the real analysis was done it wouldnt look to favorably on ” who we are”
