“Do we get to win this time?” – John Rambo, Rambo: First Blood Part II
Perhaps the five-painting series of Thomas Cole, “The Course of Empire,” was 99.9 percent correct about the cycle of a nation throughout history. Not five years ago, it seemed Washington, Jefferson, Adams and every Dead White Male who had a hand in creating, building, sustaining, and driving our nation ahead were destined for the ash heap of history, with every building or street named in their honor renamed and monument removed.
It wasn’t going to stop with just those with a connection the Confederacy.
And then, on March 27, 2025, an Executive Order was issued by President Trump with the awesomely ominous title: RESTORING TRUTH AND SANITY TO AMERICAN HISTORY.
Ominous for who/whom, though. You see, history has no side. When you win, you get to write it. [Trump wants to restore statues and monuments. Will that happen?, NPR, March 28, 2025]:
President Trump signed an executive order on Thursday aimed at “restoring truth and sanity to American history” – decrying what the order characterized as efforts to “undermine the remarkable achievements of the United States by casting its founding principles and historical milestones in a negative light.” The order calls for the removal of “divisive race-centered ideology” from the Smithsonian’s museums and research centers. It also calls on the Secretary of the Interior to restore public monuments, statues and other markers that have been removed or changed since 2020. But it’s unclear how many sites — and which ones — will be impacted by the executive order.
President Trump has called on the Interior Secretary to determine whether any memorials, statues, markers or properties that fall within the Department of the Interior’s jurisdiction “have been removed or changed to perpetuate a false reconstruction of American history, inappropriately minimize the value of certain historical events or figures, or include any other improper partisan ideology” since January 1, 2020, more than a year before Trump left office in his first term. If so, the executive order calls on the Department to reinstate any such statues or monuments. The Department of the Interior includes the National Park Service, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and nine other bureaus. The Department did not respond to NPR’s request for comment regarding the executive order.
The order also directs the Department of the Interior to ensure that any monuments, statues or memorials under its jurisdiction “do not contain descriptions, depictions, or other content that inappropriately disparage Americans past or living (including persons living in colonial times), and instead focus on the greatness of the achievements and progress of the American people or, with respect to natural features, the beauty, abundance, and grandeur of the American landscape.”
A national reckoning on race – and monuments to the past – grew after George Floyd was killed by police in 2020. More than 200 public Confederate symbols across the country were removed, relocated or renamed within about a year and a half, according to research by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). Seth Levi, Chief Program Strategy Officer of the SPLC, says many of these removals did not take place on lands under the Department of the Interior’s jurisdiction.
Even for the objects that are on public land, it’s normally land that’s owned and controlled by municipalities or state governments. I’m not actually aware of any removals on National Park Service land,” Levi says. “There have been removals on land that’s controlled by the Department of Defense with the names of military bases, [but] it’s unclear to us how many monuments have already been removed that this would actually apply to.”
Though action from Thursday’s executive order might be limited for now, Levi says he believes the Trump administration is trying to “minimize the fact that enslavement was a huge part of our history” and that the contributions of racial minorities to American history “seem to be under threat.” He also points to SPLC data showing that historically, Confederate monuments and names on schools, roads and other sites grew in the U.S. during the beginning of the Jim Crow era and around the time of the landmark case Brown v. Board of Education, in which the Supreme Court ruled in 1954 that racial segregation in public schools is unconstitutional.
Thursday’s executive order comes on the heels of other changes to National Park Service websites. After President Trump’s January executive order about gender ideology declared that “It is the policy of the United States to recognize two sexes, male and female,” the NPS removed all references to transgender people from the Stonewall National Monument website. Weeks later, it had deleted websites containing information about transgender activists like Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera.
The National Parks Conservation Association, a nonpartisan group that advocates to protect national parks, issued a statement regarding Thursday’s order. “Across the country, our national parks protect vital American history, from the birthplaces of American presidents to the birthplaces of our democracy. Our parks tell stories from the civil rights movement, the Civil War, and beyond,” said Alan Spears, a senior director at the National Parks Conservation Association. “Every American who cares about our country’s history should be worried about what people, places, and themes disappear next.”
Every last one of them must go back to where they once stood. Starting with the Confederate Memorial removed from Arlington National Cemetery, culminating with Monument Avenue in Richmond, Virginia being taken over by the jurisdiction of the Department of the Interior. With this move, all five of the monuments to the Confederacy that were resplendently displayed on this thoroughfare and removed after George Floyd died of fentanyl overdose while in police custody can be restored.
“Restoring truth and sanity” are an interesting way to describe the terror we all lived through from March 2020 to January 20, 2025. “Two weeks to stop the spread” became an eternity, with watching the chaos and horror befall America – all in the name of black career criminal dying of a drug overdose while resisting arrest – a daily battle as to which monument of a Dead White Male would come down next.
And now, we get the opportunity to see monuments, memorials and statues toppled by the anti-white orgy of violence momentarily sweeping the nation in 2020 restored and rededicated. Not one person is alive who saw the Robert E. Lee Statue dedicated in 1890 in Richmond, Virginia, while a crowd of overzealous freaks, misanthropes and anti-white proponents of every nation destroying facet of diversity, equity and inclusion gathered in 2022 to watch it removed from its grand pedestal high above Monument Avenue. A headstone to Lee’s beloved horse was destroyed in 2023, too.
Every action by these vandals was fueled by anti-white hate, resentment and spite.
And now, we get to have a national re-recognizing of America: celebrating our past, present and future as a people. To form a more perfect union simply entails realizing those who believe in Project 1619 have no business being a part of our nation at all, for the only language they can speak is one of resentment for having no part to play in establishing, building and sustaining our nation, but only in sowing chaos and disarray.
Destabilizing our nation for their momentary gain.
History has no side. It’s written by those who win.

I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for name changes and statue/monument restorations. There are way too many leftard psycho mutants out there (including judges) – they’ll need to be dealt with first…
OFF TOPIC
Sometimes breitbart gets it right
Atlanta rapper Young Scooter has died after injuring himself fleeing from the scene where police were called for shot fired, reports say.
The rapper died on his 39th birthday after police had been called to a home he was in. Officers report that as they arrived and began to assess the reason they were called, several people fled out of the home’s back door. One of them was the rapper who later injured his leg when he jumped a fence in his attempt to flee the police.
Young Scooter was not being chased by police when he injured himself, officers say.
Just like Ft. Bragg isn’t named for Gen. Braxton , but some bro soldier from WW1. I’m not holding my breath.
Yeah. Another EO that will be reversed out the first chance they get unfortunately. When a President has to do something like this, it tells you we have a much more serious and deeper problem than the EO can fix. The cancer that is eating away at our culture is still there and more determined than ever. The America of the past that loved our history exists only as a minority in our multicultural country now. The Hispanics, blacks, and Asians that will soon make up our new majority could not care less about restoring these monuments or embracing our history.
And if people wouldn’t have fallen for the lies about the Charlottesville Protest, and instead, had an honest conversation, we might have had a chance to prevent some of the madness!
Because that was the first time a bunch of people stood up AGAINST all the bullshit, and look where it got them! All based on corrupt government officials, police malfeasance, and a dishonest media.
Trump should do something to clean the slate for those guys, and get the one guy out of prison, where he does not belong!
I’ve seen some Confederate monuments in my travels, but before viewing that Wikipedia page I had no idea how many there were. Most of them visually pleasing, too! What a sad loss of history and beauty for towns and cities where they were formerly displayed.
How many of these memorials are still intact in dusty sheds and basements, capable of being restored to their rightful places once the Jacobin phase of the Woke Insurrection has passed?
Monument Avenue in Richmond was one of the noblest urban vistas anywhere in the world. I count myself lucky to have seen it before the belly-crawling reptiles of the left ravaged it. First, in recent years a statue of Arthur Ashe, the tennis player, was added. I’ve nothing against that gentleman, but his monument could have been placed at many other sites. On Monument Avenue it was like a parody of the rest of the memorials on the street’s median.
But that insult was mild compared to pulling down the other memorials because those they honored fought for the Confederacy — in Richmond, the Confederacy’s capital! Other than the destruction of New York’s Pennsylvania Station, this was perhaps the greatest aesthetic atrocity ever committed in the US.
President Trump’s executive order aimed at making good the damage (where possible) instils hope. Fingers crossed.
The dems are shopping around for an activist Federal “Judge” who will issue an injunction. The Trump Administration should set a precedent and ignore any rulings. The administration won’t suffer any consequences as who will enforce judicial rulings.
Same sympathetic magic just like the wokers: do something to the symbol in order to change what it symbolizes. Ridiculous, but perennially crowd pleasing, a cheap stunt that costs nothing and does nothing.
Maybe the problem is the need that some once felt to elevate fallible mortal men onto pedestals for public adoration in the first place. Particularly those individuals who actually waged war against the United States, and who were responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of U. S. soldiers, sailors, and Marines, a Deep State-ish regional oligarchy that refused to accept the result of a free, democratic presidential election they had done everything in their power to sabotage.
And come on now, could one person in a thousand actually give an accurate explanation of who a statue memorializes, or why and when it was built and placed where it is or was? For most of Americans, history is the incredibly boring thing they were tortured with in school, that they never ever want to tax their minds with again. A frothy Hollywoodesque combination of 1776, the Old West, and WWII (or making traitors into heroes) is all they know or care to know.
Hiking on Mount Lemmon in Tucson Arizona they had plaque for a work camp for Japanese in the 40s. Much like the every Smithsonian exhibit, it was all white people evil bullshit. No mention of what the Japanese were doing to POWs or even Chinese under occupation.
I don’t know where you heard that, but it’s definitely not true. This is PFC Roland Bragg of the 513th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 17th Airborne Division of WW II (not WW I and not a bro):
https://www.asomf.org/who-was-private-first-class-roland-leon-bragg/
The WW II Army was segregated and the 17th Abn Div was a very white unit, as was Roland Bragg, as you can see in the photo.
Since Fort Bragg is home to Airborne and Special Operations forces, it’s very appropriate for the post to be named for an outstanding paratrooper. Read about what he did that resulted in PFC Bragg being awarded the Silver Star. His balls were so big that it’s surprising he was able to put on his pants.
It is well to remember Arlington National Cemetery (now that you mention it)
was conceived as a funny way of defiling Robert E. Lee´s property 😁
This kind of mutual revenge rape is part of the condition humaine; no one
is above it, and no one is safe from it – the best you can hope for is some kind
of memorial park like the Ruskies have: Earth belongs to the living.
Saint Fentanyl the Breathless is already circling the memory hole, and the
Mr. Michael King cannot be far behind (I´d like to see the hollowcause memorials
turned into public urinals, but there´s no guarantee of that in the short term).
What is “our” history for that matter?
Never forget Paul Ryan’s cowardice in Trump’s first term bowing the knee to pressure from business interests organized by Jewish billionaire and candidate for president Tom Steyer who pushed Ryan to rebuke Trump for failing to condemn the Charlottesville protests. And Ryan, heretofore to forever to be known as Cowardly Paul, complied with the wishes of his Jewish masters.

Hey, Paul, I like your work. But please, my comment has languished in moderation for 1.6 days. It was not a hasty scribble; I put effort into writing it, as you do with your posts. Please don’t be like Steve Sailer and ignore responses.
Replace the statues so patriotic young white men enlist in the armed forces and go die in WW3 that Isreal and the MIC are ramping up tensions for in the next few years.
A guy 39 years old calling himself “Young Scooter. 🛴 “
ROTFLMMFWAO
Nigras, man.
Now then you mentioned it, imagine what if Heather Heyer would have been hit by a black driver like Darrell Brooks instead of James Alex Fields? I doubt Heather Heyer would have been turned into a martyr.
young= mind of a retard.
oh my…
That is, until they get enough young white men to die for Israel, and then they’ll all be toppled again, and won’t go back up, ever. But none of that matters since the USA is what is really being toppled. Welcome to The Pyrrhic Victory of Supremacy Inc.
Yes, yes, that’s the attitude!
Your kind of “can’t-do/why-bother” spirit is what built America.
Right?
No.
Homey, just move to France and join your fellow “cheese-eating surrender monkeys.”

Why not? Should we let humans sink to the level of niggerwords?
Fallible humans need to be inspired, not remain boneheaded like they literally were in Ye Olde Africa.
Emotions aren’t stirred by facts, graphs, and multiplication tables. That’s why coaches give peptalks. And teams have cheerleaders. And smart folks know Homer (not just the Simpson version). And have heard of Pericles’ funeral oration.
FACT: Man lives by more than maggot-infested bread alone.
You mean the members of the separate nations at the time that were called “states”? The ones that, having voluntarily united with other nations/states, decided to voluntarily leave?
So…did the Southern “nations” deserve to become the slaves of a Union that supposedly hated slavery?
The Industrial Revolution hadn’t transformed the pastoral South yet. Slavery was still an accepted institution…like it had been for eons, beginning in Africa. The North had no right to tell the South to give up their human John Deeres and International Harvesters that made cotton king.
Imagine how America would be today if the South had been left alone, niggas eventually moving North, while Whites created paradise on Earth in Dixie!
Homey, wussup? You sound like the kind of guy who’d beat his girlfriend if she decided to leave.
You also seem enthralled by “America, land of the unfree forced-to-live-togethers.”
Nigga please: it takes two to tangle. Both sides killed.
Also, nothing compelled the North to force Southern freedom-seekers to stay in a relationship they deemed toxic.
To wit: The North…which kept its slaves.
Sure, if…wait for it: they’re taught it in schools! You know, the schools that now grajimate Tyrones and Sheboonias who think the Pentagon has 4-sides and the War of 1812 was fought in 1492.
Because gooners like you (who get chapped lipped struggling to speak words out loud that booger-incrusted fingers point to) bore them to death.
Tell us without telling us that you’re ashamed of America.
Why not live on Incel Island with your inflatable harem, GTA games, and skids of boxed Red Bull?
Sounds like you, folks who never pay such mental “taxes,” having generated no cogitational income while living in Noncomposmentistan.
They obviously can’t know what they don’t know. Plus there’s no reason media can’t enhance learning. Would you rather they remain ignorant? You’ve never had an inspirational teacher? Never learned from someone who loved History?
If so, c’est dommage.
(By the way, are you a Niggertonian member of Mediocre Meamjojo, Inc.?)
Arlington is beautiful. The tour of Lee’s house is amazing. I can only imagine how warped it must be now.
Yeah and be sure and let me know when there is a reason to believe most Whites realize the problem and are determined to do something about it. The vast majority of Whites would never even participate here because they believe we are all horrible racists and antisemites which to them is the worst thing imaginable.
