Our elite would rather tens of millions starve than lose the moral high ground of calling out white people for being “racist.”

Because somehow white males being the primary individuals who keep alive our just-in-time inventory and supply chain system by collectively being the majority of truck drivers somehow is racist. [MSNBC’s Tiffany Cross Shames Trucking Industry For Employing Too Many ‘Aggressive’ Trump Voters, Daily Caller, November 14, 2021]:

MSNBC host Tiffany Cross took aim at the trucking industry Sunday for employing too many middle-aged white males who “overwhelmingly voted for Trump” and are “too aggressive” on the road.

During a segment of “Cross Connection,” Cross joined CrossCountry Truck Driving School owner and president Pamela Day to discuss the ways in which the trucking industry can attract a more diverse workforce amid a labor shortage.

Cross began the segment by explaining that her brother is a trucker and that she worries about him because it is apparently a “dangerous industry.” The host then handed it off to Day to lay out how she will “disrupt” the industry while promoting diversity.

“We say we’re not building truck drivers, but safe CMV operators,” Day replied. “Folks that can get back to their home whenever they’re done with their shift. That’s the most important part.”

Cross said she interviewed minority truckers, who alleged that they experienced hostility and acts of racism on the job, and asked Day if the industry can become “more welcoming” to these workers.

“This is an industry populated by a lot of white men over the age of 55,” the host said. “This group of people overwhelmingly voted for Trump. Some people have talked about aggressive truck drivers cutting them off or not being helpful. So, obviously, the more populated it is with people of color I think you’ll see less of that.”

After briefly discussing her own experience as a truck driver and touching upon alleged instances of “racism,” Day claimed that attracting women to the industry is key to its success.

According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, the average age of a commercial truck driver in the U.S. is 55 years old, while only 20% of drivers are below the age of 45. The industry is predominantly made up of men, with women accounting for merely 7.8% of commercial truckers.

What happens when enough white individuals collectively tire of being called ‘racist’ for simply breathing?

The nation shuts down.

And changes forever.

With each passing second, this moment’s inevitability inches closer.

  1. Faux News recently published a story about schools, in rural CA, backing off on mask requirements. The reporter’s spin was that some districts have had enough of it. The truth is that the boards were enthusiastic about reinstatement of masking, but they were forced to relent by the threat, issued by a huge number of parents, to pull their kids out. That is, the permanent loss of popular, political support.

    Middle class whites need purge themselves from public schools; and cancel their CATV subscriptions.

    Well there now. As an “old white guy over 55,” who has worked closely with many thousands of truckers over the last four decades, I can honestly say these women are being sh*t-disturbers.
    For instance, many of the owner/operator truck drivers in the City of Calgary, Alberta, Canada are of Lebanese ethnicity. They deliver loads to me and then go get another load. I don’t have time to delve into matters such as the colour of their skin, their ethnicity, or their religion.
    Similarly, they don’t give a rat’s a\$\$ about the colour of my skin, my ethnicity, or my religion. The most important thing they want me to do is deal with their load effectively and efficiently so that they can go get another load.
    In several other areas of the province of Alberta the Indians are predominant in the trucking industry. Same story: I don’t give a flying f about their ethnicity and they don’t give a flying f about mine. Remember please, these guys have to pay for their trucks and fuel, they have to provide for their families, their mortgage, a reliable car… Again, they don’t give a flying f about my ethnicity, same as me.
    We get along just fine, and what I see is some sh*t-disturbers trying to make problems in the trucking industry.

  10. During that MSNBC interview a graphic is shown on screen that shows the ethnic background of truck drivers in percentages. If you add up the percentages of White, Black, Asian, and Hispanic/Latino drivers you get 119.2%. These idiots have obviously included Hispanic/Latinos in the White category- and then added Hispanic/Latinos back in as a separate category. If you subtract the Hispanic/Latino percentage from the White percentage you get a White percentage of 54.3%. Meanwhile, the Black percentage was listed at 16.8%. So, Whites are slightly underrepresented in the trucking industry while Blacks are slightly overrepresented. What are they bitching about exactly?

    You know, for all I know White truckers may well be careless, reckless, and dangerous on our roads. But I’ve yet to hear of one driving 156 mph into a young woman and incinerating her alive.

    I now realize it was silly of me to assume the percentages were botched through stupidity. That was almost certainly done on purpose.

    I guess it is as with farming: If you offer all the diversity clamoring to “farm”
    40 acres (not fl.oz.) with the provision the land can neither be sold nor mortgaged
    there wil be exactly zero takers for a real shitty job.
    And so it is with trucking: Contrary to popular (i.e. their) belief it does not
    consist of stealing freight and raping hitchhikers.

    Well, the first thing I do is correct their grammar. If you use the word “racist” as an adjective, instead of using it as a noun, then you are misusing the word. The second thing I do if someone calls me a racist is say “so what?”. This two things usually kill the conversation pretty quickly.

  13. Those broads couldn’t last a day on the road. I never did the CDL thing, but I know a few in their fifties who did. Getting the CDL is a big deal to begin with, there are physicals, labs, drug testing, you get a lot of both initial and ongoing scrutiny. High blood pressure? No CDL for you. You have to be really proficient at handling the truck, managing records, expenses, it goes on and on. Blacks for the most part aren’t interested, don’t have clean criminal histories, couldn’t pass the physicals, whatever. It just ain’t their thing. Yes, there are black drivers, but few. I used to do the phones at several Petro truck stops and I remember no blacks in my travels around those places, the restaurant and so on.

    The industry would welcome blacks, Hispanics (lots of Hispanic truckers knocking around the old truck stops), women, little green men from Mars, as long as they have a CDL and clean record.

    CDLs have to now been entirely based on merit. While I can see it being attempted, going EEOC/Quotas/Preferences on CDLs would raise many voices, not least of which, the insurance companies because they don’t want gangsters driving the rigs they insure. Also, he industry is attempting to shed drivers moving cargo with bot-trucks, they are NOT interested in hires of drivers with affirmative-action CDLs.

    As for these broads, black, white, or whatever? They’ll always shit on the productive. Because when they look in the mirror every morning they know what they do is the least important and least valuable thing being done, on the planet. They know they’re easily replaced, too. So they try to make a splash. Tiffany Cross, MSNBC. She doesn’t even warrant a guffaw.

Having seen that at least one city, Philadelphia, has stopped enforcing traffic laws since too many blacks break traffic laws, imagine the trucks of America with a great number of blacks behind the wheel. What could go wrong? In addition to the extreme danger of semi trucks weighing tens of thousands of pounds hurtling around with drivers not particular concerned about traffic laws, maybe they would also decide that rushing to get to their next destination is just part of the white supremacist system and that whitey will just have to wait until they get there. No doubt, in the sprit of United Airlines who plans on getting more black pilots by any means possible, lets see the trucking industry diversify by upping the black quotient to the max. What could go wrong?

    Somewhere in there, there’s a social statement, and a warning to future generations, although I don’t know that it was intended at the time.

    No, jackass. The most important part about truck driving is that the critical items you are paid to deliver arrive at their destination with both driver and cargo safe and sound. Sometimes that means you are local, but somebody has to haul that stuff over I-80 in Wyoming. They can’t go home at the end of the day or your hair-hats from India would never arrive at your local weave store. Ditto the “skrimp” and “crawb laigs” you love to scarf down.

    On a side note, most of the drivers at my facility are not American white men. Tons of Eastern Europeans, Sikhs, Mexicans, but not many white guys.

    Yours was the first comment to bring up driverless trucks (I assume that’s what you meant when you referred to shedding drivers with “bot-trucks”). If it’s true that the average age of truck drivers is around 55, that is ominous for the industry, or for getting enough food to the stores. Obviously something must be done. 60 Minutes had a segment arguing that bot-trucks are safer than those with human drivers, plus they can operate 24/7. The problem is when one wrecks and kills people, which is bound to happen.

    It seems that the romance of the road is over for most young people. Those living in cities don’t need cars to get around. Many don’t even have licenses. Is it even possible to recruit enough qualified young drivers who want to enter such a high stress, lonely occupation? Biden now says that they all must be vaxxed, which is hardly an incentive to enter or stay in the industry. Like it or not, driverless trucks are the future. Race doesn’t even enter into it.

We’ve all ready seen how useless blacks are in other industries such as construction and administration ( deal with the Department of Veterans Affairs sometimes) so why do these clowns think blacks can add anything positive to trucking? I don’t have a cdl, but I have driven 26 foot long box trucks with airbrakes. Too many blacks as previously mentioned have felonies besides health problems like hypertension and diabetes. Then, any kind of professional driving requires a work ethic. All whites should just kill their televisions for starters.

    Consider that the last 10 years or so has seen lots of ads and stories about automation. Self-driving trucks and automated warehouses were the future, and it was right around the corner. It seems like that kind of public storyline would deter younger people from making the financial and time committment to earn a CDL if a robot is taking the job forever really soon.

    I worked for years in the shipping and receiving department of a national chain while I lived in Southern California. After Reagan’s foolish amnesty in 1986, pretty much all the local drivers vanished by early to mid 1987 and had been replaced by Mexicans- many of whom were self-professed illegal aliens hired under the table by local companies. The only white or black drivers (very few) we saw after that were the long haul truckers for the most part who were doing a west coast turnaround. In essence, it became like working in Tijuana and was a major reason I left the state forever. I’d already spent the years between the ages of 13 to 23 living in Asia and, as I said to coworkers in 87 when I decided to quit and move, “I didn’t move back to America just so I could wind up working in what amounts to a foreign country. I moved back to my country to be around my countrymen- not to be surrounded by Mexicans!”

    In the example the word is being used a a noun. “He is a racist” whites are tired of being called racist.

    However “racist” is (according to the Oxford dictionary) an adjective, as in “it was a racist comment”
    So your first argument is incorrect.

    What is the first thing you do if someone calls you a racist? You have told what the second one is but not the first.
    Clearly the example is speaking of collective action not some individual and does not apply to your erroneous reaction.

    Before even discussing this aspect, I believe that you should attend English classes to give you a basic understanding.
    “This” refers to the singular and can never be applied to more than one.
    Your sentence “This two things usually kill the conversation pretty quickly.” displays a sad lack of language mastery.

    One of their Chocolate factories has a huge warehouse, with little to no human interaction…..

    I think we need to read that statement like a lawyer. As in, the more populated the trucking industry is with POC (ironically, back in the day, we used that same acronym to describe a junky car…i.e., “Piece Of Crap”), the less likely it is you’ll see a White male trucker over the age of 55 cutting you off, or doing something else illegal/dangerous.

    Overall, you’ll see MORE instances of dangerous/illegal driving. But it will be fewer White men over the age of 55 doing it. And in their minds, that’s all that matters.

    Here the owners of the businesses often put unrealistic time constraints on the drivers, pushing them to take too many risks while driving. When travelling on the highway I quite often drive in the wee hours when the only people on the roads are the truckies. I find that those guys know where the cops are hiding, so often all of a sudden the truck slows down and off on the side of the road will be a camera van hiding. Then we’re off again. Quite often at a good pace.
    A while back I saw a little hatchback sneak up on the inside of a truck as it swung wide to exit a roundabout. As the trailer was going through the corner, the hatchback was squeezed and ended up on two wheels between the gutter and the trailer. Rather comical. Can you imagine if a female driver was out in the middle of nowhere and had to change a couple of flat tyres by herself. I know that I struggle with the weight of the 18 inch alloy wheels on my four wheel drive.

    If you’re following along at home, I highly suggest you avoid any sort of birdshot if there is the slightest chance of needing to shoot people or people-like attackers.

    Yes, I know people have been killed by birdshot. Yes, I know, I don’t want to be shot by it. Yes, I know other rounds might overpenetrate.

    Still, in spite of all of that, all my shotguns that are kept at the ready in case I need to visit violence on humans or humanoids have ammunition with “buckshot” in the name. I prefer #1, but 00 or 000 isn’t bad either. I keep #4 buck for coyotes, but in a pinch wouldn’t be too concerned if that were all I had for home defense.

    My situation isn’t yours, and anything is better than nothing, but if your life or the life of those you love is in danger, select ammo that will give you every possible edge. That means, IMO and in my case, buckshot rather than birdshot.

    My 2 short barrel shotguns are loaded with #4 ,i also have an assortment of 12 ga. loads due to the ammo shortage.Better birdshot than nothing.My friend had to carry loads through the North East,anything that resembled a “man killer” would have been a trucker’s ticket to prison.

    First rule is to have a shotgun, I agree. Beyond that, I know it is always recommended to use buckshot and I even tend to agree with that as well.

    Now to be contrary and add fuel for discussion, in house-distance there is little or no spread, let alone pattern. If you hit a target with a shotgun at fifteen feet, you will post one, ragged hole. Whether what passed through it was nine pellets or an ounce of BB’s won’t matter to the recipient.

    The important thing to remember, non-shooters is to AIM – not point- your punt gun. No Biden ‘let one go over their heads’ negligent discharge… center mass (or center hips… armor, you know) and shoot till the target is down.

    As was said, each circumstance is different but if you know how to handle and feed your pump gun, you always control what comes out the business end next.

    And did someone say ballistics??
