Our only job, our only task throughout this whole ordeal, is to survive the impending collapse of state-mandated egalitarianism.

Statues can be replaced. Monuments rebuilt. Streets and schools renamed.

For the 11 years of SBPDL, many of which were spoof, came a dramatic redirection when a childhood friend was murdered for boasting too much ‘white privilege‘.

Her murder in July of 2011 was the lone reason this site endured. I was prepared to stop then, the joke having run its course. But her horrific murder (and the targeting of two other white females in the midday racial terrorist attack) provided the motivation to continue. Whatever this site became and the people influenced by the writing here, was done in her memory.

And the primary, enduring message preached has been simply, “survive.” [‘You do whatever you can to survive’: 99-year-old woman fought off an intruder in south Minneapolis home, KSTP.com, July 28, 2020]:

A 99-year-old woman fought off an intruder at her home in South Minneapolis.

Minneapolis Police Department confirmed to 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS they are searching for a suspect in this violent break-in.

“You do whatever you can to survive,” said Evelyn Johnson, the victim in this case.

Johnson said a man snuck into her home through a back window around 10 a.m. on Monday and then attacked her, covering her head with a blanket.

“I think he was surprised,” Johnson recalled. “He thought he was just going to cover my mouth and smother me, but that didn’t happen. I fought him. We wrestled for quite a while, according to all my bruises.”

Johnson said the suspect ultimately shoved her into the bathroom and shut the door, making off with about $40 and an iPad.

“She wasn’t going to let him take her down and she fought for her life,” said Barbara Johnson, Evelyn’s daughter. “That really is incredible. At 99 and a half, I don’t know where she got the strength.”

Police confirmed they are looking for a suspect in this case but are not putting out further details at this time.

Minneapolis Police Department is warning about an increase in crime, downtown and in South Minneapolis. They said officers have responded to 100 robberies and 20 carjackings in the 3rd precinct in July alone, with most of the crimes happening north of 42nd Street East.

Police said thieves are stealing cell phones, purses and vehicles. They said some of the victims have been maced, dragged, assaulted and threatened with guns.

According to MPD crime statistics, there have been 909 robberies in Minneapolis this year, a 37% increase from last year.

“The 3rd precinct is my home and what’s going on is kind of a shame,” Barbara Johnson said. “The fact that we’ve been violated here is really a sad reflection of what’s going on.”

Barbara Johnson said her family has lived on the same street in South Minneapolis since 1905. They said they are saddened to see the area becoming increasingly unsafe but are grateful Evelyn survived the home invasion.

“I am surprised when I think that I’m 99 years old and was able to work off that strong, young man,” Evelyn Johnson said. “God was with me.”

Evelyn’s hearing aid was crushed in the scuffle with the intruder, which will likely cost her thousands of dollars. A friend set up this GoFundMe page to help.

(NOTE: Because the hearing aid was damaged, Evelyn asked reporter Alex Jokich to pull her mask down so she could read her lips during the interview to understand better what she was saying. The 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS crew maintained appropriate social distancing measures while interviewing the Johnsons.)

Hearing technology company Starkey, based in Eden Prairie, contacted 5 EYEWITNESS News after this story aired, hoping to provide Evelyn new hearing aids for free to replace the ones that were damaged. Starkey’s president and CEO said he felt terrible Evelyn had to endure something like this and wanted to help.

Minneapolis Police Department is now urging the public to take extra precautions to avoid falling victim to violent crime.

Robbery Prevention Tips from MPD:

• Do not walk alone

• Be hyper-aware of your surroundings at all times – pay attention!

• Carry only items you need, and carry less cash

• Be prepared to give up your cell phone and purse/wallet

• Have keys already in your hand as you approach your car

• Despite all our efforts, robberies may still occur! Do not argue or fight with the criminal. Do as they say. Your safety is most important!

• Be a good witness. When you call 911, be prepared to answer many questions. (How many suspects? Age, height, complexion, hair and eye color? Scars or tattoos? Weapon- what did it look like? What direction did they leave in? Vehicle description?)

Carjacking Prevention Tips from MPD:

• Lock your doors while driving

• Don’t stop for strangers who are trying to approach you or stop your car

• Park in well-lit areas

• Always be hyper-aware of your surroundings

• Use a tracking device

• Never leave anything of value in your car

• Never leave your car running unattended. Many victims were dropping off food or other deliveries.

• Memorize your License Plate number. It helps towards a faster recovery.

Review those tips from the MPS again:

• Be prepared to give up your cell phone and purse/wallet

• Have keys already in your hand as you approach your car

• Despite all our efforts, robberies may still occur! Do not argue or fight with the criminal. Do as they say. Your safety is most important!

The Black Lives Matter insurrection has led us to this point, where a police department is telling citizens do not fight or argue with a criminal robbing them, but instead, “do as they say.”

But the 99-year-old white woman, being robbed by a racially unannounced (meaning black individual) criminal, put it succinctly: “survive.”

Everything that has a beginning, has an ending.

SBPDL was started as a joke. It grew to something beyond that, because I dared push beyond the acceptable boundaries of permissible racial discourse.

All of it was done to honor the memory of a friend murdered for her ‘white privilege’.

As police departments capitulate nationwide to the Black Lives Matter terrorism, remember the ultimate words providing hope the future: “You do whatever you can to survive.”

We are shocked seeing videos where a robber drags an old lady by her bag over the floor and kicks her. You do this in a place with good police and with a population that will interfere and defend the innocent.
Exceptions are people with mob connections. They just politely tell their connections like “I am lawyer of so-and-so mob boss”, and the robber will profusely beg for forgiveness for his mistake and seek another victim.

Not to irritate robbers is just general knowledge South of the US border. And propagated by police.

True. Most honest folks there don’t have guns.

Where Sherman grew up, between the coasts and above Mason Dixon, where folks watch out for each other, generations of families lived in the same area.

When the elders allow crime to set and grow, it will rapidly take off.

In Minnesota, Johnson is more often a Swedish rather than English or black surname. (Especially in 1905!) They already had the O, unlike Danes and Norwegians, and Anglicized their Janssons and Johanssons.

Of course, the best course of action is to avoid such areas, but if a person cannot, wearing a “face diaper” would conceal enough of a person’s identity to allow him to avoid legal consequences as a result of defending himself.

County sheriffs are equally politicized here. County cops patrol the parks and work in the courts.

Governors weigh in on who ‘should’ be sheriff and that usually works. They get in and stay in typically till another governor gets elected.

No concealed weapons permits. No exposed carry. No point in trying.

If you are carrying, you’re doing it illegally here. Good, bad or indifferent, the thief is viewed the same as the citizen in this horrific state where the myriad of gun laws could keep an entire team of lawyers busily confused for years.

Doesn’t this, then, make the ones (cops, mayors, pols of all stripes) who embrace, who push the idea of cooperating with criminals, criminals, too?
Does that not make the politicians and cops guilty of conspiracy to commit assault, theft, etc., etc.?
Does that not then qualify them for the Self-Defense response if and when they actively support the front-line criminals by arresting and charging the victims for defending themselves?

  40. If enough whites and white businesses leave, the tax base will collapse and also the victims base as well. Hope it happens as maybe, just maybe it will set an example and other cities won’t follow the lead. Hey, a man can dream right?

If you live in a jurisdiction that has a Police Department, move away.

Find an Unincorporated jurisdiction. Unincorporated means they cannot issue municipal bonds to raise funds, to be paid back with interest by taxation.

County Sheriff is an elected position. Chief of Police is an appointment.

Good point about revolvers retaining brass.

I’m in NJ and I don’t believe there is any I incorporated land left.

County sheriffs are equally politicized here. County cops patrol the parks and work in the courts.

Governors weigh in on who ‘should’ be sheriff and that usually works. They get in and stay in typically till another governor gets elected.

  47. I see that new bodycam footage of the George Floyd incident has surfaced. Confirming what every rational person suspected all along, the film shows he resisted arrest. Just as in the cases of Garner, Brooks, Brown, etc, Floyd chose the obvious risk of physical injury in a futile attempt to resist. It’s quite safe to bet that if he had not resisted, he would not have had a knee applied to his neck.

Clearly one of BLM’s main goals is to grant black people the right to violently resist lawful arrest, and to have the right to a “fair fight” when they do so.

    Welcome back. Missed your posts.

Left Minneapolis in January 1975 and I have never regretted it. Everything I have read since has confirmed my decision as correct. Gov. Dayton telling Whites to get with the program or get out of Minnesota. Al Franken stealing an election. Somalis dropped off in small cities to spread the diversity goodness. Minnesota just doesn't have a Democratic party, they have the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, as in the Hammer(Labor) and Sickle(Farmer) Party.

I have two brothers that still live in the Minneapolis area. One lives less than a mile from the burnt precinct and has been a lifelong social justice Democrat. I guess he is reaping what he has sown. The other is a Jehovah's Witness, he lives on another planet.

In Minnesota, Johnson is more often a Swedish rather than English or black surname. (Especially in 1905!) They already had the O, unlike Danes and Norwegians, and Anglicized their Janssons and Johanssons.

That would explain much of her sturdiness at 99. She probably shops at Ingebretsen's, which was looted, but not much. Never mind blacks; even the Swedes wouldn't touch lutefisk!

This is basic knowledge many Latin American crime ridden South American and Central American cities, such as Rio de Janeiro. Never argue or fight with a robber. He snatches your phone, your bag, NEVER hold on to it, never resist.
We are shocked seeing videos where a robber drags an old lady by her bag over the floor and kicks her. You do this in a place with good police and with a population that will interfere and defend the innocent.
Exceptions are people with mob connections. They just politely tell their connections like "I am lawyer of so-and-so mob boss", and the robber will profusely beg for forgiveness for his mistake and seek another victim.

Not to irritate robbers is just general knowledge South of the US border. And propagated by police.
Minneapolis is becoming Sao Paulo or Tegucigalpa.
It is taboo t even think, it must never be told that

majority Black or majority Latin cities are not the same as majority white cities

Government is corrupt, gangs become powerful, Leftist governments disarm the population. Don't interfere in other people's affairs, mind your own business.

I know several people that were in a South American public city bus robbery, where all passengers get fleeced. A scary gangster-looking man, and a black beauty that looks like a gangster bride routenely get skipped over, even explicitly told "pal, I have no issue with you, I am just going to rob the other people".

True. Most honest folks there don’t have guns.

Where Sherman grew up, between the coasts and above Mason Dixon, where folks watch out for each other, generations of families lived in the same area.

When the elders allow crime to set and grow, it will rapidly take off.

  68. This is a round about way to deny Whites their 2nd Amendment rights. Okay, you can keep your guns but you can’t use them even in self-defense. The charges against the St. Louis couple who were being terrorized by antifa as well as the husband of Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey who was being harassed by the BLM are prime examples.

The BLM/ antifa strategy is to provoke people into fighting back and charge them with crimes when they do so. Now even resisting crime will be considered a crime itself. Next time, a robbery escalates into a murder. The Black perpetrator will be let free because the White victim did not give in into the demands of the Black perpetrator quickly enough.
