As Americans hold their collective breath to avoid getting the coronavirus China Virus, never forget our leaders want to make sure you can never, ever socially distance yourself from glorious diversity once this crisis passes (and it will pass, just as all pandemics do). [Pelosi’s Coronavirus Stimulus Bill Mentions ‘Diversity’ 32 Times: 1,100-page bill would force all corporations receiving aid to fund ‘inclusion initiatives’ for at least 5 years, Free Beacon, March 23, 2020]:

The word “diversity” appears 32 times in the coronavirus relief bill House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) unveiled on Monday. Pelosi released her plan as critics questioned the priorities of Democratic lawmakers facing the China-caused pandemic.

Senate Democrats voted Sunday to block a coronavirus stimulus package worth up to $1.8 trillion, and continued voting down procedural motions on the bill Monday. Democrats in the upper chamber were reportedly upset that the legislation does not do enough to increase fuel-emissions standards for the airline industry or to provide additional tax credits to promote wind and solar energy.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) said Senate negotiations over the relief package were going well until Pelosi imposed herself on the process. Democratic obstruction gave the House speaker time to introduce her own coronavirus relief package in the House. At more than 1,100 pages, the “Take Responsibility for Workers and Families Act” is in keeping with the controversial comments Majority Whip James Clyburn (D., S.C.) reportedly made on a conference call with Democratic lawmakers last week. “This is a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision,” said Clyburn, in reference to the drafting of the House Democratic response bill.

The Pelosi bill focuses on “diversity,” for example, more than one might expect from an emergency economic relief package. The plan includes a section on “Improving Corporate Governance Through Diversity” that aims to “ensure that corporate boards reflect the diversity and perspectives of the communities and consumers impacted by the hardships due to the coronavirus disease.” The word “inclusion” appears 14 times in the text of the bill.

One section of the House Democratic bill, titled “Diversity Report,” would establish a congressional oversight panel requiring any corporation that receives federal aid related to coronavirus to provide “diversity data” to congress. The panel would publish a report on its findings the following year.

The required data would include demographic information about the corporation’s employees and board members in terms of “race, gender, and ethnic identity.” The panel would also demand demographics data on the corporation’s suppliers, service providers, consultants, and the various financial institutions utilized by the company.

The “Diversity Report” section also requires companies to compare the salaries of employees based on gender and race and furnish information on the “number of staff and budget dedicated to diversity and inclusion initiatives.”

Furthermore, the House bill states that all corporations receiving federal aid “must maintain officials and budget dedicated to diversity and inclusion initiatives for no less than 5 years after disbursement of funds.”

The House, meanwhile, is not even in session right now. It would not be able to cast votes on the legislation in the coming days, so any bipartisan deal on a stimulus package is almost certain to be hammered out in the Senate.

Turn the boards of major corporations into diversity tribunals (where no white man will dare tread again and wield any unearned power) or see your entire economy face imminent financial calamity.

It’s your choice.

This is what the Democrats are doing in the face of the, ahem, China Virus.

ORDER IT NOW

Light the incense sticks and continue the chants of “Diversity is Our Greatest Strength” all you want, but closing the border to China, stopping all flights from China, and quarantine anyone from or had visited China for two weeks upon entry to the US would have stopped this virus from turning into a pandemic.

But now, Democrats hope to unleash even more diversity mandates upon our society with this recovery bill.

  3. THIS, Quote ,”Turn the boards of major corporations into diversity tribunals (where no white man will dare tread again and wield any unearned power) or “””see your entire economy face imminent financial calamity.””” This will happen anyway and has been happening because of DIE-versity. Everything Blacks touch they run right into the ground. They bring out the hood in Neighborhoods,Cities,towns.. Since all of this is because of “structural racism” …. What the hell is “structural racism”.

You know how when white people build things, they turn out waaaay better than the ones built by “diversity”?

Perfect example; whites built the Mackinac Bridge, a span of over 26,000 feet, over frigid waters, through brutal Northern Michigan winters.

Diversity built the Florida International University pedestrian bridge, a span of 175 feet over 6 lanes of traffic, in sunny South Florida.

The whites bridge still carries 11,600 vehicles a day after 6 decades. Diversity`s bridge collapsed after 5 days.

    That’s “structural” racism.

  4. By the way,all of this remind you of something…Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) is a racially selective programme launched by the South African government to redress the inequalities of Apartheid by giving black (African) South African citizens economic privileges that are not available to Whites in essences wealth redistribution.
BEE South Africa’s policy of black economic empowerment (BEE later BBBEE) is not simply a moral initiative to redress the wrongs of the past. It is a pragmatic growth strategy that aims to realise the country’s full economic potential while helping to bring the black majority into the economic mainstream.

The real question is, will any sane White person/family go back to that shithole and risk being swung from a tree in the next Black chimpout?

“Nathan Dunlap entered the restaurant at 9:00 p.m., where he ordered a
ham and cheese sandwich and played an arcade game. He then hid in a
restroom at about 9:50 p.m. He exited the restroom after closing at
10:05 p.m. and shot five employees with a .25-caliber semiautomatic pistol.

Dunlap first shot Sylvia Crowell, 19, who was cleaning the salad
bar. She was hit from close range in the right ear and was mortally
wounded. Ben Grant, 17, was fatally shot near the left eye as he was
vacuuming. Colleen O’Connor, 17, pleaded for her life and sank to her
knees, but Dunlap fatally shot her once through the top of her head.
Bobby Stephens, 20, the lone survivor of the shooting, returned to the
restaurant after taking a smoke break outside, thinking the noise he
heard from inside the restaurant were children popping balloons nearby.

As Stephens walked into the restaurant and unloaded utensils into
the dishwasher, Dunlap came through the kitchen door, raised the
handgun at him, and fired a shot that struck Stephens in the jaw.
Stephens fell to the floor and played dead. Dunlap then forced Marge
Kohlberg, 50, the store manager, to unlock the safe. After she opened
it, Dunlap shot her in the ear. As he was taking the cash out of the
safe, Dunlap fired a second fatal shot through Kohlberg’s other ear
after he noticed she was still moving.

The manager who fired Dunlap was not present at the restaurant.”

Those of us with long memories will recall how, immediately after the 9-11 attacks, the 500-plus-page PATRIOT Act was dumped on Congress and Congress-critters were spooked into voting for it before anyone even had the opportunity to read it. In retrospect it was clear it had been written well ahead of time and put on a shelf to await the right opportunity to dump it onto the country with the least amount of resistance from a frightened populace anxious for their (useless) government officials to “do something.”

Now we have an 1100-page bill that has suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Does anyone believe this is a very recent creation, or was it awaiting the economic calamity that was sure to come from so much extravagant spending and massive debt? Again people are anxious for the government to “do something.”

Well, they already have. Their actions put us in the situation we’re in today.

Ironically, this “relief” package can only promise one thing, and that’s far more debt, which got us into this predicament in the first place. As Peter Schiff pointed out, the virus is the needle that has popped the debt bubble. Other “experts” laughed at him when he predicted the coming of the Great Recession (see the YouTube video “Peter Schiff was right”) and he predicted this would be the Greater Depression. Unfortunately I think he’ll be right again. Mistakes from the last time weren’t corrected and instead we were set up to suffer an even worse event.

Sooner or later the virus will go away but we’re going to be living under the impact of this depression for a very long time, perhaps permanently.

Actually as you will find out shortly, biggest traders are people like McConnell who look like ready to cuck on the so called stimulus bill. Democrats interestingly put a full wish list of their needs into their proposal, it will be very interesting what few things Republicans are able to take out, my guess is they will leave all social and anti-white stuff in while taking a few chump changes like emissions standards out. You could not have asked for a better opportunity to shut down the whole immigration system down, instead you will see the floodgates opened up even more.

I understand that Democrats will say “but Republicans wanted billions for Corporations”, and it’s probably true, but at least their agenda & marketing message isn’t “Die Whitey Die!”

What SJW’s don’t get is, even if they got everything they wanted, the chants of systemic injustices & racism wouldn’t magically end… they’d get even louder! Just look at any major city with black run leadership. The cries of racism have nothing to do with equality but rather revenge. White SJW’s are useful idiots to the left, every last one of them.

One has to wonder why the US hosted Event 201 ( Corona virus pandemic-gaming ) that took place in Sept. 2019 before the virus even broke out in China. Chinese officials were not invited to Event 201. Event 201 began on the same day that the International Military Games in Wuhan began. the Chinese FM has stated that this how they believe the US military introduced the virus into China.

Let’s not mention how minorities receive several hundred extra points on college entrance exams simply based on their skin color when, in the past, their applications and test results would have been met with gales of hysterical laughter before they were rightfully thrown into the garbage can. Ever hear of the 1981 Hyatt skywalk collapse tragedy in Kansas City?it killed 114 people (and badly injured over 200 more, many of whom suffered amputations); those who were killed died horrible, gruesome deaths, crushed underneath tons of steel and concrete — Wikipedia has a fairly good presentation of the nature of the failure — the two structural engineers found responsible, Jack Gillum and Daniel Duncan, escaped criminal conviction, but had their licenses revoked — they are both white.

How about the collapse of the Tacoma Narrows bridge? — “diversity” was not involved there either.

    Etc etc.

Look, it’s absurd and irresponsible to use minority participation as a criterion to award contracts, especially contracts where lack of technical/engineering competence means putting lives at risk — clearly design mistakes were made, and caused the FIU walkway collapse — most people, including me, would have less confidence in any project where “diversity” was heavily involved — but there are a number of examples of well-known failures that were deadlier than the FIU walkway collapse, and which had nothing to do with “diversity”.

The panel would also demand demographics data on the corporation’s suppliers, service providers, consultants, and the various financial institutions utilized by the company.

It’s a diabolic system. If you want to get government contracts, you have to have a high “BEE rating”. That gives you points for black ownership, black board members, executives and other employees. If you have to give half of your company to a Babuntu, and since they are all bloody useless for business purposes, it makes sense to give it to a politically connected one.

But then, your BEE rating is also based on the BEE ratings of your own suppliers, contractors etc. So you select suppliers accordingly. So, if you’re looking for business from a government contractor, or from a supplier to a would-be government contractor, or… you get the picture. Give away half your company, or go home. It’s mandatory corruption.

Of course, South Africa is collapsing. It’s no surprise. We warned the world what would happen, and it did, just as it had happened in dozens of African countries before.

Of course, we all know there are white and asian engineers that have screwed up, but there are so many more of them. Furthermore, for all of your “damning examples” you provided, it was white and asian engineers who figured out why those examples of engineering mishaps failed. Take for example the millenium pedestrian bridge in London which initially experienced a Tacoma Narrows-type situation when people started walking over it. As illustrated on an episode of the TV show Nova, it wasn’t black engineers who figured out what was wrong with it and the ingenious way to correct it.

Here’s a counterpoint. Provide one example of a bridge or large bridge-like structure designed exclusively by black (sub-saharan African) engineers (without any white or asian assistance) that didn’t collapse or suffer catastrophic failure in a relatively short time. One example.

Of course, South Africa is collapsing. It’s no surprise. We warned the world what would happen, and it did, just as it had happened in dozens of African countries before.

The faster the collapse happens, the better it is for white people, while we still have the numbers and we can still get weapons and ammo.

There is nothing to be gained by letting this draw out.

What SJW’s don’t get is, even if they got everything they wanted, the chants of systemic injustices & racism wouldn’t magically end

That would be the worst that could happen to them. It would leave them without any cause to live for. I don’t think actually winning figures in their plans, at least not after the last White man is gone.

It all comes down to this “The overwhelming majority of Brown Blacks (if not all 100%) are jealous of Whiteys, a large chunk of White people feel guilty of being a Whitey”. It all comes down to this. Colonialism, Slavery, Jim Crow, Racism, all that liberal jargon etc… they are all excuses to give legitimacy for the expression of these various emotions like envy, hatred, aggression, guilt, shame etc….
Add to that, many Brown Blacks & Jews see Whiteys as weak and naive, to be rightfully exploited.
So even if Colonialism, Slavery, Jim Crow etc… had never happened, you would have the same shittery in race relations as we see today.

  69. @Sick of Orcs

Um, Reagan signed both an illegal alien amnesty and a bill that limited gun rights. As far as recent US Presidents go he was far from the worst. But he did some awful things as well. He was not as destructive as LBJ, FDR, and Obama, but those are easy records to beat.

I’m with you there in planning to buy more guns with my check….if I ever see it. Ill it believe when the check carries. Lol

CZ has always made a good product. I keep a CZ 52 as a car gun. Its cheap enough that I’m not too concerned about the wear and tear, but it’s a reliable pistol I would bet my life on. More importantly, 7.62×25 can reliably penetrate auto glass. Thus it makes good “car jacker insurance” so it grts to ride in a holster attached in my vehicle’s central storage bin.

I read an article by Andrew Joyce of the Occidental Observer (whose articles sometimes get published here on Unz) that Donald Trump is to the Dissident Right what Margret Thatcher was to the National Front i.e. a pressure valve that mainstream voters could go for as opposed to any up and coming radical party.

I own a 97B (heavy combat 45 with easy accuracy), a 75BD, and a P01 (the compact with alloy frame and dust cover). All are excellent. I am now looking for a CZ10S as a Subcompact, single stack, polymer carry gun, but there are so many good subcompacts available now. I still want my government checks so I can get a Wilson Combat 45. Its the least the government can do to protect me.
If anyone is short money as more and more are unemployed, they can still get a Taurus G2C for less than $200 at some shops, and they do work. I’ve always said it shouldn’t cost slot to shoot someone.

  74. @Mark in MI

Our taxes would skyrocket to support the exploding numbers of welfare recipients.

Yes and no, perhaps. On one hand, yes there would be a lot more of them on welfare. But on the other, how much are we paying now, to have them in these affirmative action jobs, where they get paid a lot more than they’re worth, and it usually takes several lower paid white people in lower-level positions to prop them up.

But, there could be a catch-22, even there. While an orc getting $30K in welfare costs less than an orc getting a $100K+ salary, I have a feeling the welfare orcs, with nothing else to occupy their time, probably breed at a higher rate than the Affirmative-Action-Career orcs.

Regardless of what we do, we as a society are doomed, I’m afraid.

Ever hear of the 1981 Hyatt skywalk collapse tragedy in Kansas City? — it killed 114 people

Yes, and even after all these years I can tell you exactly why it failed:  the builder did not build to the print.  The design called for the 3 tiers of the bridge to be supported by continuous threaded rods, with each tier resting on its own set of nuts on the rods.  The builder decided that he didn’t want to take the time to run nuts all the way up that much rod, so he cut the rods into sections and suspended the lower tiers, not from continuous rod, but from the tier immediately above.  This tripled the load on the nuts supporting the top tier, and that’s why they failed.

All this because the builder wouldn’t pay a machinist to build a jig to drive nuts up threaded rod with something like an electric drill.

But at least we’d have them out of our workplaces (no more “can’t tell a joke or you get fired, Whitey”, no more “dey fired me cuz dey racist, gonna get ’em back” massacres) and we could shove them back to the ‘hood where their housing assistance pays the rent.

And when we made Depo-Provera a condition of recharging the EBT, we’d get rid of the problem at the source.

When Reagan did the amnesty, that was the middle of the end. The beginning was
    (((1965 immigration act))).

  78. @Augustus

If there’s any left in shops right now. A friend of mine in Wyoming told me guns are flying off the shelves there, the only pistols left are those .22 match pistols and really cheap garbage that nobody wants. I have some gun hating liberal family members in NY who lo & behold went out and bought pistols, shotguns, and rifles when all this virus stuff was just starting. Another gun hating friend told me her boyfriend went out and bought a pistol just in case, because he heard about possible looters.
While I am happy to see people exercising their 2nd amendment rights, overcoming their fear of guns and recognizing them as the tools they are, and being able to protect themselves and their families against possible threats. My concern for them is that they waited too long and have no shooting experience, no familiarity with the weapon, and won’t be able to practice with it, especially these days with ammo shortages and limits on how much you can buy per day (in Wyoming it’s 2 boxes per person), so many of these new gun owners will most likely adopt the spray & pray method popular in our inner cities, if they remember to take the safety off.

Investigators concluded that the underlying problem was a lack of proper communication between Jack D. Gillum and Associates and Havens Steel. In particular, the drawings prepared by Gillum and Associates were only preliminary sketches, but Havens interpreted them as finalized drawings. Gillum and Associates failed to review the initial design thoroughly and accepted Havens’ proposed plan without performing necessary calculations or viewing sketches that would have revealed its serious intrinsic flaws — …

The structural engineering firm approved the change — or do you somehow believe 1) a component contractor would make a significant change to a design all on its own?, and 2) the investigation would either not uncover this, or uncover it but put all the blame on the structural engineers anyway?

    Dummkopf.

The larger point is that it’s wrong to cherry pick one example of a successful project (assume done by Whites), and one example of a project that experienced a fatal failure as a result of a serious design flaw (where the responsible engineers/architects were ‘diverse’), and then present this as if it indicates something general about ‘non-diverse’ vs ‘diverse’ contractors — because it doesn’t.

  82. Augustus says:
    @Mark in MI

We’re already losing so much in wasted salaries and demoralized workforces that there is no way ending affirmative action, quotas, and set asides wouldn’t save us money.
Worrying that welfare costs would rise is the same as believing diversity is a strength. It is not. I read somewhere that Japan had accepted 26 Muslims in the last 20 years, and now 3 are already in jail.
    Diversity is weakness.

I remember leftists denying that tax cuts could improve economic activity and create jobs. This was done after the Kennedy and Reagan cuts. Reality was denied. Can anyone STILL deny it after Trump destroyed an overly regulatory environment and gave cuts?

  86. @Sick 'n Tired

Don’t want to call you on anything but ‘gun hating liberals’ tend not to have the proper credentials to run out and buy a firearm, even a simple shotgun, in an emergency.

Firearm id’s, pistol permits, etc., take months to receive in NJ and the same is true in NY.

    Legally.

Then again, the left had no interest in ‘laws’ when their own ass is on the line.
