I lived in Albany from 1976 to 1983 and it has just turned majority Black in early 1983 when I moved to Florida. Albany wasn’t a bad place to live even in the late 1970’s. My gawd, they had great food there, at least for me because I love down home Southern cooking. I always laugh when I hear Blacks talking about “soul food.” For you Yankees who don’t know any better, so-called, “Soul Food” is nothing more than everyday common White Southern cuisine. Lived all over the place, NYC, Tampa, Baltimore, and per capita back then, Albany Georgia had some of the best looking White women I had ever seen. Albany had plenty of jobs back then as well for a town that size. They had Miller Brewery, Firestone, Georgia Pacific, M&M Mars, Bob’s Candy, MacGregor, Merck Chemical, etc. Now the town is a complete dump and was actually the per capita murder capital of America in the late 1980’s, I think it was in the year 1988. It is a total shame because at one time Albany, Georgia was one of Georgia’s fastest growing cities and had a lot of promise. It was called, “The Good Life City” back in the day. smdh. Total shame what has happened to my hometown of Baltimore and Albany.

The First 48 shows this trait perfectly when they are being questioned. They show as much emotion when being told they are being charged with murder, as they would if they dropped a bowl of soup. When they finally do confess their motives and reason the murder happened, they’re equally ridiculous and usually along the lines of “He/she/they make mad” or some low value robbery of a couple hundred bucks worth of drugs or cash.

There was one where an old black couple got into a drunken fight, the old man who was probably in his 70s stabbed her a few times, she went to bed and died, so he wrapped her up in a sheet, parked his truck on the sidewalk and dropped her body off the roof into the back of the truck, because he was too infirm to carry her down the stairs of the apartment building. I used to work nights all over in Miami, mostly near and around Overtown. It was not uncommon to see kids 3-5-8-10 years old out walking around the streets with their mom or a teenager in the 13-16 age range at 12-1am on a week night, during the school year. Or an orc with a couple young kids having one of the kids who’s 5-6 approach you and ask for money outside of a store or at a gas station at 11pm, then give you a dirty look and slink off back to mama when you tell them no. During the bush war in Rhodesia, and other places, the Babuntu terrorists demonstrated their unsuitability for firearms. In training, they were taught that, for targets further away, you need to raise your rear sight to compensate. That makes the rifle throw the bullet harder, and it goes further.

In a firefight with the army, obviously you want to throw that bullet as hard as you can. So you lift that back sight as high as you can – and shoot the crap out of those leaves overhead.

No one blinks an eye because it’s so typical. Compare that to an ABC headline from January 12, 2020:
12 shot, five dead, in single day of shootings in Baltimore

Because these shootings can’t be directly tied to white people (i.e., white men in a truck chasing a “jogger”), they’re all just BFD. Rest assured, however, white people are to blame, and they must give up their 2A rights and give the poor, downtrodden black folks more gibs.

I never commented back when sbpdl was independent so I don’t know what the moderation was like. But here, as mentioned, it’s hit or miss and impossible to figure out why some comments never get out of moderation purgatory. Yep, a number of the regular participants, ex-nyer, Pat Boyle, Brian in Ohio, formerly Mrs. Greenbaum have disappeared. A shame.

The Babuntus already have complete control of everything in South Africa. Six years ago, I lived within sight of the power station. I accepted as given that I was probably being exposed to accidental radiation leaks, and Escom (the Electricity Supply Commission) would never tell me about it.

Chernobyl? I have no idea. Of course, they assure us that the design is very safe and it could never happen here, but then, as Mandy Rice-Davies famously said, they would say that, wouldn’t they?

Maintenance is contracted out to the French company that built it. The Babuntus’ record with conventional coal-fired power stations shows that they can’t and won’t attempt any maintenance themselves. Sooner or later the reactor will reach the end of its lifespan, or the government will default on the maintenance fees, and the French will insist that it be decommissioned. Then we will see. I expect they will simply cut off the fuel supply.

I have a very irreverent sense of humor, so only my most anodyne remarks are allowed to be read here. Still, I can’t figure out what words, ideas, or phrases are verboten.

Couldn’t agree more. Here’s a first step. Let’s start forcing Africans-so-forlornly-trapped-in-the-only-country-in-history-in-which-they-could-have-achieved-even-a–modicum-of-success into railcars bound for the East Coast of the US, where we should have ocean-going vessels, anchored and ready to take on cargo, to transport, um, I mean, “repatriate” (!) them to the Muddaland.
