Tom Petty was from Gainesville, Florida. He once proudly showcased the Confederate flag in his shows, before he realized the error of his ways. He knew which way he wind was momentarily blowing.

So he buckled. He bowed .

And now, the University of Florida does the same. [University of Florida ends ‘gator bait’ cheer, citing racism, AJC.com, June 18, 2020]:

ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. — The University of Florida is ending its “gator bait” cheer at football games and other sports events because of its racial connotations, the school’s president announced Thursday in a letter making several other similar changes on campus.

University President Kent Fuchs said in a letter to the university’s faculty, students and staff that the cheer has a “horrific historic racist imagery” involving African American people, especially children, being used as bait for alligators.

“Accordingly, university athletics and the Gator Band will discontinue the use of the cheer,” Fuchs wrote.

The university’s sports teams in the Southeastern Conference are nicknamed the Gators, for the ubiquitous Florida reptile. In the past, the school’s band would strike up a “gator bait” tune and fans would respond with their arms doing a chomping motion while shouting the slogan.

The link to racism is borne out by news articles in years past. For example, in 1923, Time magazine published a story about how “colored babies were being used for alligator bait” in Chipley, Florida.

“The infants are allowed to play in the shallow water while expert riflemen watch from concealment nearby,” the article said. “When a saurian (alligator) approaches this prey, he is shot by the riflemen.” The Chipley Chamber of Commerce responded to the Time article by calling it a “silly lie, false and absurd.”

The letter from Fuchs outlined a number of other steps the university in Gainesville, Florida, is taking on racial issues following the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police. Floyd’s death has sparked nationwide protests focused on police brutality against African Americans.

Among other things, Fuchs said the university will require students, faculty and staff to be trained on “racism, inclusion and bias” and will also bring a new focus on the African American experience in the upcoming academic year.

The University of Florida, the state’s largest with about 52,000 students, is expected to reopen in the fall semester with restrictions related to the coronavirus outbreak.

In his letter, Fuchs said the school will look into a number of other race-related topics. These include one task force to document the university’s history regarding race and ethnicity, and a second task force to examine the reasons behind honorary namings on campus.

“I am personally committed to removing any monuments or namings that UF can control that celebrate the Confederacy or its leaders,” Fuchs wrote.

Fuchs said he is ending the university’s practice of using prison and jail inmates as farm labor in some of its agricultural programs. He also said the university will redouble its efforts to recruit and retain African American students, faculty and staff.

ORDER IT NOW

“It is past time for UF to commit and engage in this challenging, uncomfortable, transformational work,” Fuchs wrote in the letter. “We know that we cannot undo lifetimes of injustice and racism, but we believe we can make progress — in education, in advancing truth, reconciliation and justice, and in anti-racism, equality and working to eradicate inequities.”

Despite no truth existing to corroborate the idea of the “Gator Bait” cheer being racist in origin, it must be retired.

Why? Because the war on racism is only accelerating and just a hint of this pernicious idea must immediately be eradicated.

Immediately.

“Gator Bait” today, Mount Rushmore Tomorrow.

  1. Mount Rushmore tomorrow, you are right.

How much explosive is needed to blow it up, Taliaban Style. Or can the faces be transformed into Holy Floyd, Micheal Brown, Trayvon Martin, and Emmet Till.

Of course, the lack of (written) history in Africa will always be covered up. Or non-existant oral tradition history will show up and written down.

Even Wakanda will be found, eventually. Read my lips.

Actually there is plenty of written history about Africa - at least the most recent part. It's true that none of this history was written by the blacks themselves. When the Portuguese arrived in West Africa in the late fifteenth century (at approximately the same time that Columbus was sailing west) the blacks had no written language. So they can hardly have been expected to have developed a history. Be fair. Subsaharan Africa was the most primitive place with the most primitive people any white man had seen - until the explorers got to Australia. The initial Portuguese explorers thought the blacks weren't human. They thought they were a form of chimpanzee. This was unusual because about the same time Vasco da Gama sailed to India and discovered the Indians had an advanced ancient civilization. Cortez a little later got to Mexico City (Tenochtitlan) and found it had temples bigger than any in Europe and very advanced agriculture. Subsaharan Africa only went through the neolithic revolution about 2,500 years ago whereas Europe and the mid-east had gone through their neolithic revolution 8,500 year before. This was all recognized at the time and was written down - by white men and Chinese.

China in the earlier fifteenth century (Ming Dynasty) had sailed to East Africa and had written about the Africans it met. Unfortunately subsequent dynasties obliterated most of those records. So it's clear there has been a lot written about Africa from the very first time advanced people went there. It's only quite recently that the record has been twisted and distorted.

Africa got self rule in my lifetime. I was there. When I was twenty one my uncle got me a job with the Washington Post. I was an independent contractor delivering papers to the embassy's in North West Washington. This was my night time job so I could attend college during the day. While I had this little job I got many new subscribers. A whole passel of new African republics were formed. Every week a new African country popped up. They threw off colonialism and set up black governments.

There are many books written on this remarkable period in history. It is a history of horror. Every new government was a disaster. Bokassa and Amin were among the worst. Both were cannibals who ate their political enemies. Bokassa had a special kitchen built into his palace where he could cook his rivals. At least two other emergent African heads of state built zoos where they kept crocodiles to whom they fed their political opponents. Liberia - the American sponsored home for ex-slaves - got Charles Taylor - among the most vicious and cruel ruler on the continent. All this grim and disturbing history is well documented but few Americans have read it. I guess they don't want to be labeled a racist.

I don't know. Might asks the guys who did this to a Mount Rushmore style monument outside Cairo about ten years ago. The one on the far left was once the face of Hosni Mubarak.

  2. It doesn’t matter if it’s a “silly lie, false and absurd.” Just like the “Hands up, don’t shoot” lie, such things get automatically embraced by the black cult of victimhood and become a rallying cry for the low IQ crowd. What disgusts me is how white cucks listen and cave into the pressure from blacks instead of fighting back, insisting on the truth and telling the whiners to STFU.

Yes I think you're right. The public seems to accept really crazy ideas when the media and the agitators promote them. There is no better example than the George Floyd incident.

Hundreds of people were injured, a couple killed, and millions of dollars worth of property destroyed. For what? Because George Floyd a low level drugged up criminal killed himself. Yes it was a suicide not a murder. The autopsy showed he had three times the fatal dose of Fentenyl in his system during his arrest. He was protesting that he couldn't breath before he was restrained by an officer's knee on his neck. Fentenyl kills you by asphyxiation. He was a dead man before the cops arrived (unless maybe he got to an emergency room ). He was never in a choke hold. Now we have politicians announcing the need for new police procedures when the police on the scene followed all existing procedures, and those procedures didn't kill him.

Why was he restrained? Maybe because he was damn big. He was six seven. Rodney King evoked such a strong reaction because the cops were a little afraid of him. He seemed immune to Tasers.

  3. A while back I read about a Confederate regiment put together by some military men down in New Orleans. The soldiers were primarily Irish immigrants who were working on the docks as stevedores and similar brutal jobs.
The regiment was deployed as “shock troops”,a lightning fast force who would fight with utter abandon, mounting surprise attacks on Union positions.
They achieved renown for their ferocity and came to be known as…The Louisiana Tigers.

So much for poor ol’ Tom. He went out of his way to cuck out, and it didn’t gain anything for the man from Gainesville other than to further tarnish his image and alienate many long time fans. 5. “Fuchs” derives from the Middle German, and means “fox.” Fox is the TV network of Tucker and all the other racists. Further, riding with the hounds to chase a fox is exclusively a white-supremacist pastime. Thus, President Fuchs needs to cancel…wait for it… his own name. I suggest “Floyd.” Name-changers tend to retain the first sound; and Fuchs is into first sounds (his“horrific historic” alliteration). Not that it matters, because even assuming football will exist post-Covid, the stands will be empty of fans.

  6. The ironic thing about getting rid of the Gator Bait chant is, the chant was created by a black football player.

Instead of watching college or pro football and basketball, use your "sports watching" money to go to a college swim meet, gymnastics meet, tennis, wrestling, baseball, volleyball, etc. Those teams tend to be populated with actual student athletes, rather than mercenaries that could not otherwise get into the colleges. And of course spend time with family, hiking, etc. You will find yourself with a lot more money in your pocket if you bail on football and basketball. Seems like a cumbersome and inefficient way to catch an alligator. I never thought I’d live to see the insanity that’s sweeping across the western world these days!

  13. That is an absolutely horrific story.

Your next project, Mr. Fancy Pants, is to solve a tangible problem. Since you’re so smart, you surely see that this is just melting like a snowflake and not actually solving anything. You don’t have to look far to find actual suffering in the world. Yet you went out of your way to deliberately avoid it.

  14. Never heard of blacks serving as gator bait. Never followed Florida football and Tom Petty was a pot smoking minstrel who’s opinion of anything held no meaning.

Watching trembling cucks apologize for things they didn’t do has become a new form of disgusting entertainment for me. At once, hysterically funny while being embarrassingly sad at the same time. Oh, how they are now tripping over one another trying to pander and grovel harder than the last guy, certain this is the ‘new way’ to appease their black cohorts.

Right now, the blacks are fooled by this behavior. I say fooled because they expect it’s a universal reaction to their threats of violence.

What they fail to realize is, we are not our government. We are not big conglomerates. We are not administrators. We are certainly not their propaganda mouthpieces in the media.

We’re just a BUNCH of pissed off people, sitting around loading mags and getting angrier by the minute. We’re not going away and we’re not abandoning the country and lifestyle we’ve created here.

Blacks are being led down a garden path for some sinister reasons, I believe. They’re literally being told they are ‘bulletproof’ while stomping around their communities. Eventually, they’ll be led to ours and they will quickly find out they are not.

When both they and their propaganda teams feel the sting of their mistake, then the war will have begun.

The real "northern aggression" wasn't the war, in which Gen Sherman saved you from a much blacker future (Louisiana was 50% black then, 33% now). It was the introduction of the Massachusetts (actually, Massachusetts-Canada) sports of pigskin and hoops.

    Another Fake Noose story?

Everyone is nodding away as if this absolutely must be on the up and up, deathly afraid to invoke the name of Smollett or the hundreds of other such incidents proven to be hoaxes:

    https://www.espn.com/racing/nascar/story/_/id/29345568/nascar-says-noose-found-bubba-wallace-garage-talladega

It’s almost a 100% certainty that if there was an actual noose found (which has yet to be confirmed in any way), it was planted on the sly by one of Wallace’s buddies or a black person that worked at the racetrack. If caught, not only will the story be relegated to the back page of local news, the black perpetrator will give the same excuse all the rest have (if they even make one), that “they did it because they felt it was important to start a ‘dialogue’”.

Update on a Fake Noose story from 2017:

Remember the young black child in New Hampshire in 2017 that white kids strung up with a noose while shouting racial taunts at him? It was the top story everywhere for several days, while the child and his family did the talk show circuit, got treated to courtside seats by Lebron James, and pulled in hundreds of thousands of dollars on gofundme?

Of course, the state concluded two years later in 2019 that there was absolutely no evidence of a racial incident and “concluded that the boy himself had looped the rope of a tire swing around his neck…and jumped from the picnic table as a prank.”

Kind of like that black guy in Louisville a coupe weeks ago--the BBQ guy who got shot and killed in a crowd when cops opened fire on "protesters". That was a big thing for a few days--the "Gentle Pitmaster" was "peacefully protesting" when cops shot into the crowd (which was in response to shots fired from the crowd at the cops-this of course was played down). Talk was of how this gentle rib smoker would feed cops for free and cry at sunsets and all kind of syrupy goo. I was waiting on another 4 hour nationally televised negro-palooza funeral. Then, no more mention of this tragic event. Vanished totally from the MSM. Curious.

Turns out the Gentle Pitmaster was shot because he was the one who shot at the cops. Videoes showed him squeezing out a couple of rounds from a 9 mm at the cops. A cache of seven firearms were found in his BBQ shack nearby, which I suppose were to augment his peaceful protesting.

As for the noose at Nascar, it's already been exposed that the noose was actually the loop cut off of the manual over-ride of a garage door opener and all the garage door openers at Nascar have them. So, it looks like everyone (especially the MSM) once again made fools of themselves by jumping to conclusions and engaging in a frenzy of virtue signaling. Either that, or this was intentional to stir up trouble. I saw all the photo's on another website (can't remember which) that showed all the evidence including photos where the offending "noose" was cut off and other manual over-rides with the "nooses" still intact. Apparently, the only original member left is Gary Rossington. To his credit, Hank Williams Jr., did a show in New York State during the height of the infamous Dylan Roof media circus and was selling Confederate Flags (with his picture on them). When told that he wasn't allowed to market Confederate themed merchandise at the venue, he simply pointed to a clause in his contract that indicated that he could continue to sell them. The arena was a virtual sea of Confederate Flags (with Hank Williams Jr.'s picture on them). I feel really sad for the family and the loss of his daughter.

Actually there is plenty of written history about Africa – at least the most recent part. It’s true that none of this history was written by the blacks themselves. When the Portuguese arrived in West Africa in the late fifteenth century (at approximately the same time that Columbus was sailing west) the blacks had no written language. So they can hardly have been expected to have developed a history. Be fair. Subsaharan Africa was the most primitive place with the most primitive people any white man had seen – until the explorers got to Australia. The initial Portuguese explorers thought the blacks weren’t human. This was all recognized at the time and was written down – by white men and Chinese.

China in the earlier fifteenth century (Ming Dynasty) had sailed to East Africa and had written about the Africans it met. Unfortunately subsequent dynasties obliterated most of those records. So it’s clear there has been a lot written about Africa from the very first time advanced people went there. It’s only quite recently that the record has been twisted and distorted.

Africa got self rule in my lifetime. I was there. When I was twenty one my uncle got me a job with the Washington Post. I was an independent contractor delivering papers to the embassy’s in North West Washington.

Liberia – the American sponsored home for ex-slaves – got Charles Taylor – among the most vicious and cruel ruler on the continent. All this grim and disturbing history is well documented but few Americans have read it. I guess they don’t want to be labeled a racist.

He had the flag displayed on his guitar in some videos, and it was on displayed on various items even some of the singer’s clothing. As far as I know, Billy Idol has never CUCKED about this and I hope he didn’t. Great talent and it makes me like him even more for his non PC approach. Believe me, it was not as bad as it is now, but even in the Eighties it took some nerve for a mainstream talent to display a Confederate flag. Btw, Idol’s hit “Rebel Yell” was the name of a whiskey one of the Rolling Stones had sampled while touring Dixie.

Rebel Yell Whiskey is interesting in that it has been distilled since 1849? It isn't bad going down, but it seems to have a bit of lingering effect that carries over to the next morning. I prefer Wild Turkey. Of course, Crown Royal is good, but being a Canadian Whiskey, it's a guilty pleasure.

Billy Idol was pretty good, if not a little strange. He had the Elvis sneer down pat. SNL did a skit with Phil Hartman as Frank Sinatra. It was hilarious. Frank (Hartman) kept calling Sinead O'Conner (Jan Hook) names like Sinbad. He repeatedly told Luther Vandross (Chris Rock) that he couldn't understand a word he was saying. Sting played Billy Idol and Frank (Hartman) told him to quit sneering because people wanted to like him. Idol's first band was Generation X. It's kind of hard to say what a Confederate Flag meant to a Punk Rocker. Dimebag Darrell with Pantera apparently was a student of the War to Prevent Southern Independence. I don't know how immersed in it he actually was, but it was reported that he had quite a few books on the subject. His home had multiple Battle Flags hanging in it, he had at least one guitar with a Battle Flag motif, and the Battle Flag was featured on an album and t-shirts.

Did the Whites that left those cities bring the statues with them when they left? Did they put up new ones in the towns and suburbs they moved to? Is there a fundraising effort to buy the fallen statues so that they can be erected in friendly territory?

Wouldn’t this worry be better placed on planning for homeschooling your kids in the fall? Where you can teach them WHAT Columbus, Washington, Lee etc. did? Or reassessing your lifestyle to minimize your support of the corporations arrayed against us? Did you pull your kids out of (what was) the Boy Scouts? And, with each cancellation, the pattern is reinforced...attention is brought to a “problematic” part of culture, those supposedly in charge (such as university administrators) feign sober reflection in deciding to remove the “offending” image, song, statue, painting, etc., and then continue the cycle by condemning “racism” and “injustice” as if cancelling innocent cultural traditions will harmonize society.

I’m sure deep down many do hate themselves - who wouldn’t if one looked like that - and they for sure hate Whites. Everything they’ve achieved or have is because Whites built the infrastructure for them to take advantage of. For example, the two venues orcs sort of excel at, some entertainment and some sports were invented by Whites - especially the major revenue producing versions. They’ve got nothing w/o us and they damn well know it, but don’t hold your breath waiting for one to admit it.

No way a random Black ..... Here is why. If a random Black guy wanted to start something and he found out there were no cameras in a garage with all the equipment and tools he would have stole stuff.
No way a random White guy did it.... Here is why........ There is no way with all the security that you have to go through would a person be able to get by everyone with out being caught. If it was that easy everyone would be down in the garage.
No way and established Nascar Driver or his team did it..... Here is why........ Under no circumstances would a guy defecate in the bed he lives in. People unfortunately care more about their careers than they do making a stand. This is a career destroyer and there would be no coming back for this person. Plus you would be stooping to their level. So it comes down to "Bubba himself, or one of his crew. That is the only logical thing that makes sense.

And Clinton praised at least one ‘leader’–Julius Nyerere
Julius Kambarage Nyerere was a Tanzanian anti-colonial activist, politician, and political theorist. He governed Tanganyika as Prime Minister from 1961 to 1962 and then as President from 1963 to 1964, after which he led its successor state, Tanzania, as President from 1964 to 1985

    • Replies: @Pat Boyle
    @Loren

Well yes Nyerere was not quite like the other African post-colonial dictators. At the time it was recognized that he was not the typical homicidal mad man type who was so common elsewhere in Africa. Maybe he was worse.

Tanzania was not dominated by one single powerful tribe like so many other new African republics. One tribe typically elected one of their top politicians to power and then there were no more elections. They had a new "Great leader for life". Tanzania was multi tribal and Nyerere was a Marxist. So he didn't kill members of other tribes as other dictators did. He instituted traditional socialist measures. He instituted communal farming and it resulted as everywhere else that was tried in a famine. They went from being a food exporter to being a net food importer. The people starved. Then he transported them to new towns he had built. Some went voluntarily others under compulsion. Like all socialist states Tanzania failed as a nation. In old age Nyerere bitterly blamed his recognized failures on his people for being stupid and lazy.

The real “northern aggression” wasn’t the war, in which Gen Sherman saved you from a much blacker future (Louisiana was 50% black then, 33% now). It was the introduction of the Massachusetts (actually, Massachusetts-Canada) sports of pigskin and hoops.

I know the rock star Billy Idol, who was British by the way, was always displaying the Confederate flag in his videos in the Eighties. He had the flag displayed on his guitar in some videos, and it was on displayed on various items even some of the singer's clothing. As far as I know, Billy Idol has never CUCKED about this and I hope he didn't. Great talent and it makes me like him even more for his non PC approach. Believe me, it was not as bad as it is now, but even in the Eighties it took some nerve for a mainstream talent to display a Confederate flag. Btw, Idol's hit "Rebel Yell" was the name of a whiskey one of the Rolling Stones had sampled while touring Dixie.

    Replies: @Cowtown Rebel

Rebel Yell Whiskey is interesting in that it has been distilled since 1849? It isn’t bad going down, but it seems to have a bit of lingering effect that carries over to the next morning. I prefer Wild Turkey. Of course, Crown Royal is good, but being a Canadian Whiskey, it’s a guilty pleasure.

Billy Idol was pretty good, if not a little strange. He had the Elvis sneer down pat. SNL did a skit with Phil Hartman as Frank Sinatra. It was hilarious. Frank (Hartman) kept calling Sinead O’Conner (Jan Hook) names like Sinbad. He repeatedly told Luther Vandross (Chris Rock) that he couldn’t understand a word he was saying. Sting played Billy Idol and Frank (Hartman) told him to quit sneering because people wanted to like him. Idol’s first band was Generation X. It’s kind of hard to say what a Confederate Flag meant to a Punk Rocker. Dimebag Darrell with Pantera apparently was a student of the War to Prevent Southern Independence. I don’t know how immersed in it he actually was, but it was reported that he had quite a few books on the subject. His home had multiple Battle Flags hanging in it, he had at least one guitar with a Battle Flag motif, and the Battle Flag was featured on an album and t-shirts.

As for any logical reasoning as to why Montgomery refuses thus far to take over the murder investigation, Wetumpka Police Chief Greg Benton said he is totally confused. “The only thing I can think of is that (Finley [Montgomery, AL police chief Ernest Finley]) did not want another murder occurring in Montgomery, or taking credit for another murder.”

    https://www.espn.com/racing/nascar/story/_/id/29345568/nascar-says-noose-found-bubba-wallace-garage-talladega

It's almost a 100% certainty that if there was an actual noose found (which has yet to be confirmed in any way), it was planted on the sly by one of Wallace's buddies or a black person that worked at the racetrack. If caught, not only will the story be relegated to the back page of local news, the black perpetrator will give the same excuse all the rest have (if they even make one), that "they did it because they felt it was important to start a 'dialogue'".

Of course, the state concluded two years later in 2019 that there was absolutely no evidence of a racial incident and "concluded that the boy himself had looped the rope of a tire swing around his neck...and jumped from the picnic table as a prank."

Kind of like that black guy in Louisville a coupe weeks ago–the BBQ guy who got shot and killed in a crowd when cops opened fire on “protesters”. That was a big thing for a few days–the “Gentle Pitmaster” was “peacefully protesting” when cops shot into the crowd (which was in response to shots fired from the crowd at the cops-this of course was played down).

As for the noose at Nascar, it’s already been exposed that the noose was actually the loop cut off of the manual over-ride of a garage door opener and all the garage door openers at Nascar have them. So, it looks like everyone (especially the MSM) once again made fools of themselves by jumping to conclusions and engaging in a frenzy of virtue signaling. Either that, or this was intentional to stir up trouble. I saw all the photo’s on another website (can’t remember which) that showed all the evidence including photos where the offending “noose” was cut off and other manual over-rides with the “nooses” still intact. Samantha Kate James, a former Miss Universe Malaysia, posted several tone-deaf Instagram stories in reaction to the police protests taking place across America.

The Independent reported that James wrote, “I don’t live in America and it has nothing to do with me, but to me, it seems like the ‘whites’ won,” she wrote in her first post. The beauty went on to say, “They have power over you.”

James continued saying, “To the Black people: Relax, take it as a challenge, makes you stronger.”

She says that “You chose to be born as a ‘coloured’ person in America for a reason. To learn a certain lesson.”

When questioned by commenters, James explained that she meant that the soul “chose this life, this country, this race, this human form, specifically.”

She said, “Accept it as it is, till now hunger and poverty still exists. It is what it is. It’s inevitable. Best you can do is remain calm, protect heart, don’t allow it to crumble. That’s your responsibility.”

The former pageant queen’s statements were met with disapproval. One commenter said the posts were “actually embarrassing.” The comment went on to say, “I can’t imagine telling Black people to ‘relax’ and take the fact that they’re getting killed by the very people who swore to protect and serve them as a challenge.” The writer urged James to delete the posts and to consider something outside of her own privilege.

More than just her social media commenters disavowed the remarks. The Miss Universe Malaysia Organization also said the posts are “inappropriate.” They note that James is not affiliated with the organization and that her views are not in line with theirs.

“MUMO stands for a non-racial society and strongly condemns all acts of racism and prejudice anywhere in the world,” the organization said.

James has since deleted her posts and wrote a more detailed explanation on her page where she said she articulated herself “poorly.” She turned the comments off on the post.

Why should we care about chants at a college football game that we shouldn’t be paying attention to in the first place? We should be boycotting college athletics as well as “professional” sports.

To be honest, all the statues that have been torn down have been in enemy occupied territory. Has anyone gone out of their way to visit them? Did the Whites that left those cities bring the statues with them when they left? Did they put up new ones in the towns and suburbs they moved to? Is there a fundraising effort to buy the fallen statues so that they can be erected in friendly territory?

Wouldn’t this worry be better placed on planning for homeschooling your kids in the fall? Where you can teach them WHAT Columbus, Washington, Lee etc. did? Or reassessing your lifestyle to minimize your support of the corporations arrayed against us? Did you pull your kids out of (what was) the Boy Scouts? How about that church you attend that digs wells for Africans or expressed support for BLM?

We should be more concerned with what White people should DO, rather than what negroes have done.

The point is innocent traditions that no serious person believes have real past racial overtones are being cancelled due the hysteria we find ourselves in. And, with each cancellation, the pattern is reinforced…attention is brought to a “problematic” part of culture, those supposedly in charge (such as university administrators) feign sober reflection in deciding to remove the “offending” image, song, statue, painting, etc., and then continue the cycle by condemning “racism” and “injustice” as if cancelling innocent cultural traditions will harmonize society. Until the madness is stopped, the social marxists and black agitators who have seemingly unlimited social power will strip everything of value bare.

The real "northern aggression" wasn't the war, in which Gen Sherman saved you from a much blacker future (Louisiana was 50% black then, 33% now). It was the introduction of the Massachusetts (actually, Massachusetts-Canada) sports of pigskin and hoops.

    NEGROS IN NEGROLAND.

    A CLASSIC.

And Clinton praised at least one 'leader'--Julius Nyerere
Julius Kambarage Nyerere was a Tanzanian anti-colonial activist, politician, and political theorist. He governed Tanganyika as Prime Minister from 1961 to 1962 and then as President from 1963 to 1964, after which he led its successor state, Tanzania, as President from 1964 to 1985

    Replies: @Pat Boyle

Well yes Nyerere was not quite like the other African post-colonial dictators. At the time it was recognized that he was not the typical homicidal mad man type who was so common elsewhere in Africa. Maybe he was worse.

Tanzania was not dominated by one single powerful tribe like so many other new African republics. One tribe typically elected one of their top politicians to power and then there were no more elections. They had a new “Great leader for life”. Tanzania was multi tribal and Nyerere was a Marxist. So he didn’t kill members of other tribes as other dictators did.

Yes I think you’re right.

He was protesting that he couldn’t breath before he was restrained by an officer’s knee on his neck. Fentenyl kills you by asphyxiation. He was a dead man before the cops arrived (unless maybe he got to an emergency room ). He was never in a choke hold. Now we have politicians announcing the need for new police procedures when the police on the scene followed all existing procedures, and those procedures didn’t kill him.

Why was he restrained? Maybe because he was damn big. He was six seven. Rodney King evoked such a strong reaction because the cops were a little afraid of him. He seemed immune to Tasers.

I really enjoyed the train from Durango to Silverton.

I was planning to take a trip centered on a drive along the Oregon coast. In fact, it was going to be a scouting trip for a possible relocation. One of the areas I have visited in the past and really enjoyed was the central Oregon coast. However, THIS gives me pause in considering relocating there:

The point is innocent traditions that no serious person believes have real past racial overtones are being cancelled due the hysteria we find ourselves in. Until the madness is stopped, the social marxists and black agitators who have seemingly unlimited social power will strip everything of value bare.

My alma mater only gets 7% of the alumni donating because it is being run into the ground by a dictatorial negress. A first (admittedly imperfect) attempt was made here:

Lol. This is definitely another hoax.
