The Great Replacement came to Jackson, the capital city of Mississippi. A little more than 50 years ago, Jackson was majority white. The civilization these white people was for a far different demographic than the racial group that inherited the city once white flight created a black majority.

Sustaining the infrastructure they were bequeathed via white flight (curiously, wherever white people fled to in metro Jackson, they created thriving civilizations out of the wilderness), the now nearly 90% black city of Jackson watches as the civilization regresses to the African mean. [You Can’t Bathe. You Can’t Wash.’ Water Crisis Hobbles Jackson, Miss., for Weeks, New York Times, March 22, 2021]:

Nearly one month after a winter storm froze pipes and water mains, more than 70 percent of the city’s water customers remained under a notice to boil water.

Once again, Lavern Avant was spending her day scouring Mississippi’s capital city, hoping to get her hands on a basic necessity that she and many of her neighbors had gone without for weeks.

She made her newly familiar rounds, driving in and out of parking lots, picking up cases of bottled water for herself, her husband and her neighbors. This had become her new normal since mid-February, when a strong winter storm blanketed a wide swath of the state in ice and nearly collapsed the notoriously rickety municipal water system.

It was wearing her down, she said, and was “more than a mental challenge.”

The city’s water system, parts of which are more than 100 years old, was no match for the storm, the same weather event that crushed Texas’ power grid and water systems, leaving millions of Texans without heat or drinkable water. Across Jackson, the freezing temperatures burst pipes and water mains and left a trail of misery that has stretched on for nearly a month.

More than 70 percent of the city’s water customers remained this week under a notice to boil water, including the senior living complex where Ms. Avant, 62, and her husband have an apartment. On Wednesday, she drove to five makeshift water distribution centers to stock up.

The crisis, while this time protracted, is not new in Jackson, a city of about 160,000 where a majority of residents, including Ms. Avant, are Black. In Jackson, boil-water notices are common and an enduring municipal drama has played out for decades, as white flight, an eroding tax base and poor management have left the remaining residents with old and broken pipes, but without the public funding to fix them.

Parts of Jackson’s water infrastructure are relics of the early part of the last century. A few years ago, a study found elevated levels of lead in the water, prompting comparisons to the water crisis in Flint, Mich. More recently, Jackson was plagued by a faulty billing system that failed to charge some customers and accidentally sent others statements totaling thousands of dollars.

Mayor Chokwe Lumumba, a Democrat and African-American, has estimated that modernizing the city’s water infrastructure could cost $2 billion. Last week, he asked Gov. Tate Reeves, a Republican who is white, for $47 million to help repair the city’s damaged water system.

In an interview this week, Mr. Lumumba said he hoped the current crisis would finally push both state and city officials in the direction of a long-term solution.

ORDER IT NOW

“There’s a saying that you should allow no crisis to go to waste,” he said. “It’s crises like these that really allow us to take stock of conditions of where we are as a city, where we are as a state and hopefully it allows us to build the resolve to address it.”

The city has had a dwindling tax base for decades, after the integration of schools and other public spaces in Jackson triggered a dramatic flight of white residents. In many cases, they took their wealth and tax dollars with them. In 1960, the city was about 64 percent white and 36 percent Black. Today it is about 16 percent white and 82 percent Black.

This week, the water barely trickled from the faucets in Carolyn Willis’s apartment. Ms. Willis, a retired nursing home cook who is Black, said that in a majority-white city, the kind of water crisis she and her neighbors continued to face “wouldn’t be happening.”

“I don’t think our water would be like it is,” Ms. Willis, 69, said. “I don’t feel like we would have to pick up the phone and call these people about the water.”

Jackson’s crisis shares some similarities with Detroit, where deindustrialization and white flight emptied out the city, leaving a smaller population to support vast infrastructure systems.

“Jackson’s infrastructure was built at a time when the population was much higher, and white flight has led to divestment,” Mr. Lumumba said. “It has left fewer people to maintain what was built for more people.”

White flight creates a black majority, where every elected official and the various governmental bureaucracies are staffed almost exclusively by black employees. Quickly, the individual black citizens collectively making up the majority of the city (be it Detroit, Gary, Newark, Flint, Memphis, Birmingham, or Jackson) fail to maintain the civilization they inherited via white flight, completely invalidating the Blood Libel that “blacks built America.”

They can’t even maintain a fully intact city, like Jackson, they are handed to them basically gift-wrapped with an invisible card attached — “Prove the so-called racists wrong by finally maintaining a city we give you via white flight. Pretty please.”

A little freezing weather burst water mains? I call bullshit on that one. Frozen supply pipes usually fail at an elbow. A pain in the ass, yes. Only an insurmountable obstacle if you are a negro.

Lead pipes are fine, so long as human beings are at the switch. Romans had no problems with lead pipes. Lead is introduced into the drinking water only when the pH level is allowed to go out of bounds (negro at the switch). The “lead in the drinking water” canard is used to force state or federal taxpayers to overhaul a municipal water system that has been neglected & destroyed by the negro.

Things maybe coming to ahead as negro run cities collapse. Atlanta’s most prosperous area, Buckhead, with 20% of the population but 40% of the tax base wants to become its own city. This weekend a 22 year old negro shot a white jogger and missed two others before crashing his car into a man taking his garbage out and severely injuring him.

In Baltimore 37 waterfront businesses, disgusted with lack of law enforcement, wrote to city officials threatening to withhold tax payments to the city. This is the only area of Baltimore that was still worth going to. People have had enough of negroes lawlessness and violence. These negro run cities either get some control over their negroes or the rest of the population is going to do a Buckhead and incorporate as a separate city and hire their own police or do what the business community in Baltimore is threatening , cut off the money or just close. They cannot operate a successful business in an area where customers are afraid to go to.

I see this first hand every day; it’s black privilege. They never need to fix anything themselves, there’s always a landlord, handyman, or tradesman doing the work. They never wonder how the water gets to their faucet or why the light turns on when they flip the switch. They just assume things will work, and when they don’t, some White person will fix it. They’ll screech about White privilege while watching the 60 year old White plumber crawl under their sink to fix it. I can only imagine what the hell is happening on a city-wide level, but as always the solution will be more tax dollars to fix it!… and when their tax base is eroded to that of a Flint MI, then they’ll decry racism from the nearest White population or politician, usually hundreds of miles away. However, thanks to Covid-bailouts, most of these cities are currently floating in federal dollars, but most of that will be squandered soon enough, and they’ll be in a worse position than before. I really hope water stops flowing from these peoples faucets altogether, and sh!# starts coming out instead!

This last winter, still white-majority Texas had a major electricity outage and its infrastructure failed. There was major damage, and some people had crippling bills for power even after they had suffered outages that had damaged their homes (BECAUSE MARKETS!).

This was not due to blacks. This was not due to eco-weenie sustainable nonsense, because just next door in non-deregulated El Paso, things were fine. This was the result of beggar-thy neighbor, screw you I’ve got mine, Milton-jackass-Friedman, everything is good if I get more profit, deregulation.

So sure, maybe black-run cities don’t do so well. But white-run ENTIRE STATES, when they are seduced by the mirage of parasitic capitalism, don’t do so well, either.

And the last I checked, the entire state of Texas (excepting El Paso) was a whole lot bigger than Jackson Mississippi.

And remember, until recently the entire United States was white-run. If things have been going downhill, you really gonna blame it all on the blacks? And if whites are soon a minority – well, isn’t that also the fault of whites? (At least, the rich ones). Because cheap labor!

    Just saying.

Fight Over Mini Golf Results In Two Stabbings; One Man Hospitalized

    Jun 07,2021 by Shawn Soper

OCEAN CITY — A Havre de Grace man is being held on two counts of first-degree assault this week after allegedly stabbing two victims with whom he was playing miniature golf on Sunday.

Around 7:08 p.m. on Sunday, Ocean City Police Department (OCPD) officers responded to the area of 18th Street and Philadelphia Avenue for a reported serious assault. Responding officers located two stabbing victims in the area of Kingfish Street.

Ocean City EMS also responded and rendered emergency medical care at the scene. One of the victims was transported by Ocean City EMS to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. The second victim was treated on the scene by Ocean City EMS for a minor injury.

During the investigation, it was determined the suspect and the victims engaged in a physical altercation while playing mini-golf together. OCPD officers identified the suspect as N’Gai Naamone Lincoln, Jr., 23, of Havre de Grace, Md. He has been charged with two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, two counts of reckless endangerment and a fighting knife weapons ordinance violation. As of Monday, Lincoln, Jr. was being held by the OCPD awaiting an appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

  23. So where is that “white privilege” they always lament about? Obviously, it is “black privilege”! Negroes received a whole — perfectly working — city. They hate whitey, and whitey is racist anyway, so they get what they want, a working! city without whites. They run the city, the businesses, etc., but still, as soon as something is not working it still is the fault of white people? Even when there are no white people? Whenever something has to get fixed, paid for, and white people don’t do it, it is “racism”. Whenever whitey demands a secure, clean, silent neighborhood, that’s racissss as well! Holy f. hell, show me the “white supremacy” and “white privilege”. Whites are the modern day slaves!!

  24. UNIT472 says:

I worked for a municipal utility for 10 years. Here’s the truth. Water costs money. It needs to treated both when it is sent to and discharged from a consumers home. Negroes do not pay their bills. The utility will turn the meter off and lock it if the consumer doesn’t pay their bill but the negroes have made it impossible to lock almost every meter in their communities by prying the locks off. The utility then has to physically remove the meter to prevent theft of service. I have even seen instances where the negro will turn his meter back on and then fill the meter box with concrete to prevent the utility from removing the meter to cut service. The same happens to gas meters only here they might chain a pit bill to the meter to prevent its removal. All of this BS imposes a heavy workload on the utility. Its the Pareto principle where 80% of their employees time is spent on the 2o% of the customers who are deadbeats though it is more like a third of the customers who are deadbeats so this requires the utility to hire more service techs than would otherwise be necessary driving up the cost of delivering water to consumers and or forcing cutbacks in maintenance as more time and money is spent servicing water meters ( which if left alone can work for decades with no maintenance).

In most white neighborhoods a man seen using prying tools on a city water meter would attract attention and be reported but not in negro neighborhoods. It is acceptable behavior even if the city is majority black as somehow stealing from their own utility is ‘sticking it to the man’. This is what causes the deterioration of municipal services in black communities. Delinquent accounts and physical destruction of utility property requiring the utility to divert resources away from maintenance to pursue deadbeats.

  25. I thought this clown Chokwa or what ever died. And wasn’t he the one that was going to separate the South and make it into Africa in America. Apparently this is another Chokwa, go figure. Check these other candidates out. I love the female one…BIG Mama…LOL.. After garnering just shy of 70% of the votes in a field of five mayoral candidates, incumbent City of Jackson Mayor Chokwe A. Lumumba emerged the winner and will serve four more years.

#The 13,160 votes on Tuesday, June 8, for Lumumba, a Democrat, constitutes 69.07% of the total votes cast for mayor in the election. Independents Les Tannehill, Charlotte Reeves, and Shafeqah “Big Mama” Lodree received 2,536 (13.31%), 1,697 (8.91%) and 801 (4.2%) votes, respectively. Republican Jason Wells drew 786 votes (4.13%).

  26. And his speech –In his post-election speech, Lumumba gave a nod to supporters and members of his administration. “I thank the citizens of Jackson, I thank the residents of this beautiful city, that we’re willing to buy into a vision that we’re willing to see through the rhetoric that we’re willing to understand that our problems are deep and that we have to work collectively in order to solve them,” he said.

#”And even as we campaigned today, I worried about the residents, not only in south Jackson, but the residents in Presidential Hills who were without water because of our continued woes with our water-treatment facility,” he added. “And I pledge to you not only would we rebuild our water-treatment facilities so that you have sustainable, dependable and equitable water, but we’re going to rebuild this infrastructure from top to bottom. And we’re going to do it, not because you have an amazing mayor, but because you are an amazing people. We’re going to work together in order to make it happen.”

Is it that once people see the type, style or direction of corrupt leadership…they head for the exits? There has been more than enough time and economic output for these cities to fix their own issues. For decades, trillions of dollars in aid, development and welfare spending has continued, but nothing gets fixed. Where did those trillions go? Why isn’t the political leadership…white or black…why are they not out their trying to solve these issues. Where are their creative ideas for bringing in more people, creating a stronger tax base…and where is the planning and execution of these policies to keep up city infrastructure? What has Jackson…and it’s political leadership…regardless of race or ethnicity…what have they done to fix their issues? That is the question. It is not the fault of the people who left. It is the responsibility of those who remain…and take on leadership positions. These are the people charged with solving their own mess, but it’s easier to blame the people who moved. Instead, we get cronyism, corruption, indictments and a decaying city. If you want it to be a better place, fix the leadership and change the culture of fraud, waste and abuse.

Let’s see: 47 million to fix the water system and let’s say 22 million blacks chip in- hey, dat’s only two dollars and fo’teen cents each! And there’d be 80K left over for a huge Jackson, Mississippi KFC partay! Then, the next month, they could all chip in another $2.14 and fix Detroit’s water problems and throw another partay! Woo hoo!

Ok. Enough sarcastic commentary. The point is that these problems can be easily solved by ordinary people. It’s just easier to blame others and whine for the government to do something. Come on, Lumumba- put up a Go Fund Me and ax da brutha’s and sista’s to help fix dat sheeit!

Same goes for cable, especially in apartment complexes. One person gets cable and then runs 15+ splitters off of the cable line. We had to add an electrical sub-panel at a groid’s house because their outlets were constantly tripping the breakers. When we got to the house we saw why, in each of the bedrooms, each person had their own mini fridge, tv, dvd players, hot plates, lamps, etc plugged into power strips that were plugged into power strips, plugged into power strips. It looked like something the fire department would put in a PSA about how electrical fires start. The groid was a crack dealer, so we charged him about 4X what the job would have normally cost, and he paid us in cash, mostly $20s & $50s. It was quite an eye opening experience.

The public works department in my old hometown used to have a few guys that were the water truck. They mostly worked on maintenance and other issues as they came up.

After the town turned mostly black, PW had to assign 2 of these guys to go around, every single day, and turn water off and on, ALL DAY LONG. Some of the water boxes had to be dug up in lawns, as they hadn’t been used since the homes were built decades earlier.

Just like the police and fire departments, the problems that are created by nogs cause every department to suddenly need more personnel, when it had been completely fine prior to the invasion. They are just a complete drain and burden on modern society.

There is nothing untrue or even racist about the saying:

You can bring an ape out of the jungle but you can’t bring the jungle out of the ape.

Nor has it been solely said by American whites regarding the imported black Africans. Muhammad Ali, the Ottoman governor of Egypt, once said, regarding the modernization efforts of the Ottoman Empire, that you can import the uniforms and trapping of the superior European civilization but you can’t so easily import their culture. Jayant Bhandari has stated that the reason why India is a third world country is that Hindu Indian culture espouses primitive ways of thinking and intertribal violence.

    https://www.lewrockwell.com/2020/07/claudio-grass/is-the-west-repeating-indias-mistakes/

I am a culturalist, not a racialist. The problem is that the cultures of Israel, Greece, Rome, and China have had more than a few millennia to mature. They have experienced lots of adventures from which they learned from (recorded in the Old Testament and other sorts of religious mythology). The thing is that these adventures tend to begin once these cultures do two things:

    1. They respect some form of the Natural Law (or Golden Rule).
    2. They learn how to read and write so that they may record these adventures.

African cultures seems to refuse to do either. It seems that the only things they are interested in is stealing as many fine things as they can and killing (and cannibalizing) anyone who standing in their way.

Of course, what else? Socialism (Marxism, 3rd wave feminism, Genderism… all the same) essentially is nothing more than legalized robbery. They just call it ‘justice’, but it isn’t. The desired outcome is, as they already implemented it with the ‘copyright’ (just compare that with the effort and money it costs if you apply for a patent – eye-opening!), that a poor working class finances a caste of super rich people.

  90. @Whimadiddy

Disagree blaming issues because local govt is ‘Black’ or as explained taken over by black people. You can’t convince anyone infrastructure problems as this are fault of color of consuls skin. Very same sort of issues have become just as bad in many other townships suffering from age and corruption. Diverting funds to other areas other than infrastructure maintenance has been going on forever no mater what race is in charge. This article linking the two is epitome of racism

That is a joke, right? Infrastructure needs maintenance, and corrupt politicians need to get voted for! Why do black governed towns & countries look the same everywhere on the world? Have you been e.g. to Germany (Italy, France) lately? Cities that have been perfectly clean and quiet ~10 years ago now are littered, crime ridden shitholes! Difference? Afrab colonialists. Haiti has been the richest ‘country’ on earth in 1800, since then it ‘needed’ to be rebuilt how often, five times? (first by French, then by US people)?
No, it is ‘epitome of racism’ to blame whites for the living conditions and societies of black people! Obviously their lifestyles don’t match, it is ‘epitome of racism’ to demand that blacks life the same way as whites do! It is not ‘epitome of cacism’ to connect the dots!!

We even have tenants ask to do the lawn work and we compensate them for this work.

Our black tenants on the other hand will call at the smallest issue. Even to unclogging their toilets, which they seem incapable of doing on their own. True Incident: Black tenant lost their keys and could not get into their apartment.

He called us and we sad we will be there within an hour. When we arrived, he is inside his apartment threatening to sue us. He had kicked in a metal door! While kicking in our door he had injured himself.

We called the police and they arrested him for breaking and entering. That gave us the excuse to kick his fat ass out.

The All-Black Council was out of money and decided da Man (Detroit Water Works)
could be done away with most easily (the – actual – rumor da Man wuz tryin to make them impotent probably was not a factor; probably); I do not know who got the contract but my money is on the Council´s useless cousins. Now for the problem:
Lead pipes “passivize” i.e. insulate themselves with an insoluble scale provided
the water is not corrosive i.e. Eh and pH are high enough – ensuring which, along with
low Fe, Mn, Ca, Mg and bacteriological soundness, was what da Man commanded his odious moolah for. For whatever reason – my guess is they overdid it with iron chloride (oxidizer and flocculant) – the new water was corrosive and ate the scales, then the pipes (i.e. it wasn´t the Flint River pollution).
All that is so elementary I´m at a loss for words.

    – The dame in question is right on one thing: In a white-run city not only would the press have been all over it but someone would be in jail. Things being what they are they just covered up their idiocy until it was too late, then blamed the EPA for lack of oversight (too much oversight be wayciss too 😛 ).

It´s an eminently teachable moment – if what is to be taught is [throwing up hands].

  96. I was a resident of Jackson MS as recently as 10 years ago. I still work in Jackson. I’ve lived in the Greater Jackson area my entire life. So I can speak to this with some authority.

There is very little tax base left in the city. Most of downtown is occupied by government, or by businesses that service the government: lawyers, copy shops, lunch places. Any business that sells to ordinary customers has, if they can, moved outside of town. Because of this, Jackson is essentially a ward of the State and Federal government. It cannot issue bonds that are worth anything, because they would be rated lower than toilet paper, unless they are backed by some other entity.

The water system is ancient. To address the earlier commenter, yes, the freeze affected our mains. The office where I work was without water for a week. It doesn’t take much to break 100 y/o iron mains that have been left without maintenance for going on 40 years.

Jackson is called “Boil Water Alert, MS” because these ancient mains have to be kept at high pressure to keep the soil out. If there is the tiniest problem, the pressure drops and dirt and bacteria seep in. This is a regular occcurance.

The population left is all old (very old) upper and upper-middle class in a few sections of the city, and very poor blacks. Every black family with the ability has also left the city for the suburbs. If you have the wherewithal to save up a couple of grand, you will go rent an apartment in the neighboring counties rather than stay in Jackson.

The Jackson Public School system is in shambles. When I was a kid, there were a few JPS schools that regularly graduated several National Merit Semi-finalists and Finalists. Murrah High School was a powerhouse school, with a very good performing arts program and a fiercely competitive academic team. I had many friends in JPS that I knew through the youth symphony program. The main teaching hospital is in Jackson, so a lot of these kids were the children of doctors or similar.

There was a robust and thriving arts scene in Jackson when I was young. We had two ballet companies, a symphony, art museum, etc. Jackson is one of the cities in the International Ballet Competition rotation. Most of that is gone. The museum of art hangs in there, but the only ballet is done by private companies. The symphony staggers on, at maybe 1/3 of its former size. The only shows the city sees now is the rodeo. Gone are the big musical acts.

The mayor is the son of Chockwe Lamumba, who died in office a few years ago. He’s a nice enough guy, I guess, but he’s not competent enough to organize a spaghetti supper, much less dig Jackson out of its hole. The financial situation alone is untenable. With a tax base rapidly heading to zero, and many of the single family home property owners being “investors” who live in other states, and simply own the home to collect the Section 8 money, there are few people left who are invested in the city.

    I’ll end with this link:

    https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/803-Meadowbrook-Rd-Jackson-MS-39206/3052433_zpid/

I noticed this house up for sale some time ago. In the not so distant past, this house would have been on the market at $700K in today’s dollars. You could probably get it tomorrow for $300K. You might even be able to get it for $275K. This is, by not unreasonable measures, a mansion. It’s in a relatively decent part of town, which says more about what constitutes “relatively decent” in Jackson. Meanwhile, cookie-cutter McMansions with zero lot lines in neighboring counties all start in the $240K range.

A sad but true assessment. As someone who lives in suburban Baltimore, I can tell you that the city is a true and utter shithole. The prosecutor and the mayor for the city are true incompetents who were only elected on the bases of their skin color. They keep lowering the bar for behavior of blacks to a damn-near nonexistent level. The prosecutor for the city has already decriminalized many misdemeanors for blacks.
