What happens when you spend the latter part of 2020 completely capitulating to the demands of Black Lives Matter, a terrorist organization that wanted to make it legal for black individuals to collectively commit the bulk of the crime across America?

A mere year later, these corporate CEOs who fell to their knees to fellate Black Lives Matter with the most gusto now rise up and demand police protect their property… [CEOs from Target, CVS and Walgreens ask Congress for help amid retail crime surge, MarketWatch.com, December 11, 2021]:

The CEOs from 20 major retail brands, including Target TGT, -1.68%, CVS CVS, +0.04% and Walgreens WBA, -0.73%, have jointly penned a letter to Congress over concerns of increasing crime in their stores.

“As millions of Americans have undoubtedly seen on the news in recent weeks and months, retail establishments of all kinds have seen a significant uptick in organized crime in communities across the nation,” the letter reads.

“While we constantly invest in people, policies, and innovative technology to deter theft, criminals are capitalizing on the anonymity of the Internet and the failure of certain marketplaces to verify their sellers,” it continues. “This trend has made retail businesses a target for increasing theft, hurt legitimate businesses who are forced to compete against unscrupulous sellers, and has greatly increased consumer exposure to unsafe and dangerous counterfeit products.”

The goal for the letter, which was addressed to the majority and minority leaders in both the House and the Senate, is to consider passing the Integrity, Notification and Fairness in Online Retail Marketplaces (INFORM) Consumers Act. The act aims to increase transparency for online retail marketplaces, slow the sale of counterfeit goods online, and increase verification protocols for buyers.

“Leading retailers are concerned about the growing impact organized retail crime is having on the communities we proudly serve, which is why we strongly support the bipartisan and bicameral Integrity, Notification and Fairness in Online Retail Marketplaces (INFORM) for Consumers Act,” the letter continues. “This important legislation will modernize our consumer protection laws to safeguard families and communities from the sale of illicit products and we urge its quick passage.”

And 69.4% of retailers say they have experienced a rise in retail-related crimes over the past year, according to data from the 2021 Retail Security Survey. The surveyed companies cited issues surrounding COVID-19, policing, changes to sentencing and the huge growth of online marketplaces.

Here’s a list of the CEOs who wrote the letter to Congress, and the companies that they represent:

Ken Hicks, Academy Sports + Outdoors

Lauren Hobart, DICK’S Sporting Goods Inc. DKS, -7.51%

Richard Johnson, Foot Locker Inc. FL, -5.09%

Rodney McMullen, The Kroger Co. KR, +2.31%

Richard Keyes, Meijer Inc.

Erik Nordstrom, Nordstrom Inc. JWN, -6.04%

Heyward Donigan, Rite Aid Corporation RAD, -2.10%

Brian C. Cornell, Target Corporation

Steve Rendle, VF Corporation VFC, -1.57%

William Rhodes, AutoZone, Inc. AZO, -0.84%

Neela Montgomery, CVS Health

Todd J. Vasos, Dollar General Corporation DG, +1.62%

Craig Menear, The Home Depot Inc. HD, -2.45%

Chip Bergh, Levi Strauss & Co. LEVI, -2.89%

Geoffroy van Raemdonck, Neiman Marcus, Inc.

Ron Coughlin, Petco Animal Supplies Inc. WOOF, -4.10%

Anthony T. Hucker, Southeastern Grocers

David Kimbell, Ulta Beauty Inc. ULTA, -3.77%

John Standley, Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc.

Corie Barry, Best Buy Co. Inc. BBY, -2.79%

Brian Dodge, Retail Industry Leaders Association

John Standley, Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc.

Brian Dodge, Retail Industry Leaders Association

No amount of bending the knee to the so-called demands of Black Lives Matter will protect you. In the end, your civilization will be required for acquiescence of just one demand.

Shed not one tear for CEOs who sided with Black Lives Matter terrorists. Not one tear.

  4. The CEOs all knew this would be the outcome. They knew going along with the dominant political narrative would open the future flood gates of government money. They personally gain from being part of the “in crowd” and the company is rewarded with good press. When things start to go haywire for them, which is the natural outcome of following a derelict political ideology, they then cry for help and are again rewarded with government assistance and welfare. Heads they win, tails you lose.

The CTE in Phillips was described by McKee as “severe” frontal lobe damage that she compared to what was found in Aaron Hernandez, the former NFL tight end who was convicted of murder in 2015 before killing himself in 2017.

There is a way forward, but it starts with economic collapse. That is second only to nuclear war as an event that the Deep State doesn’t want. They’d be fine with a slow, grinding, painful process that over a person’s life renders their savings worthless and impoverishes future generations so that property ownership becomes the exclusive right of the upper classes (neo-feudalism).

  21. the Integrity, Notification and Fairness in Online Retail Marketplaces (INFORM) Consumers Act.

Once again we see the dinosaur, established firms cashing in their political influence (lobbying heavily!) in Washington so as to kneecap their cheaper, nimble (i.e. online) competitors.

I once worked for one of those firms, at its HQ. I met the Ivy-MBA CEO. He came across as a very nice person, e.g. he had excellent political skills; he was not at all like the hired gun, shark CEOs who I’ve met. I can understand why those bureaucratic, corporate boards like the beta types.

A few years ago a Big chain drugstore opened a store in Oakland, in a section along Broadway that was undergoing redevelopment. The nice building was smashed up, in riot related violence, a few times. I don’t know whether the store is still there.

Terrorism is defined as a non-state actor using violence, or the threat of violence to further a political goal. So yes. BLM is absolutely a terrorist organization. In a sane and well functioning society, it would be firmly and aggressively supressed. Sadly, we no longer live in a sane and properly functioning nation.

The fact that these companies are now being bitten by their own pets is very satisfying to me. The annoying part is that they will not learn from their mistakes…

This poor man really died of racism! Don’t you know CTE makes black people brain damaged while damaging white people too!

    CTE, a.k.a. Cuck Touchdown Entropy

Cuck Touchdown Entropy is an affliction which makes whites enter a state much like the anti-natalists. Sadly, part of this syndrome causes white men of the usa to waste brain power, and at least one day of the week their families could’ve had simply to fawn over their sporting bucks! All this and so much more to valiantly lay their sobriety, propriety and honor on the line for “their” team.

Without Cuck Touchdown Syndrome the “ignorant 85” (NFL is 85% black?) wouldn’t have to get a medical condition discovered by a black man! And all that for us non-melanated crackers!

  36. No, I won’t shed a tear, Paul. Because of all this, I’ve got half a mind to go steal some merchandise myself. It’s only my whiteness and my realization that I’ve got enough cheap China-made crap that holds me back.

  37. Dear BLM,
You may recall a substantial sum being donated to your fine organization by us. Well sir, security considerations have compelled us to increase our spending in that area, due to the rash of shoplifting attacks we have endured.
Perhaps you have seen some of them on the late news?
Be that as it may we feel the need to respectfully,oh so respectfully, ask if it is at all possible that maybe,if its not too much trouble, we could be refunded some,or even possibly, all of that money? We find ourselves, shamefully,as we should have planned much more carefully, a tad short of, this is quite embarrassing, but a bit short of funds, what with all the looting,or,I mean, non payment purchasing.
We remain,be assured, allies in the great fight against racism! We look forward to many projects and programs we can employ in the future. But for now,can we have our money back?
    Sincerely, The Board

  38. Anyone here think the CEOs will lose their jobs – or even their fat bonuses?? It’s not as if any of the losses will be taken out of their plush accounts. • Replies: @aldasfail770
  41. @The OverSeer

    Indeed.
If you are doing it right, then no one should know you’re carrying, unless you have to use it. My rule of thumb is “my safety is more important to me than your corporate policy”! So I ignore “no gun” signs as a matter of course.

The six months I worked at Wal-Mart (after retiring from state Law Enforcement) chasing shoplifters I was ALWAYS armed in defiance of company policy for employees. In a job were by definition I was interacting with criminals, there was no way in hell I was not going to be armed. Thus I walked the floor with either my Glock model 45 or my Ruger model 57 (both being retirement gifts I bought for myself!) on one hip and an extra magazine and a six inch fixed blade knife on the other.

Sadly, here in Texas we have a set of gun prohibition signs that carry the weight of law. The 30.06 sign prohibits concealed carry, the 30.07 does the same for open carry, while the new 30.05 bars the carry of firearms by non-license holders…the .06 and .07 only apply to those with a current carry license.

The good news is that the law mandates that the signs exactly comply with a rather long list of physical characteristics (for instance the letters have to be at least an inch high) to be valid. A high percentage of the 30.xxx signs I encounter look to be non-compliant, and thus are invalid. Moreover the law also has a couple of interesting clauses. The first states that failing to see the posted signs is a defense from prosecution and the second one states that a person may not be prosecuted if, upon being detected and approached by management, the handgun carrying party leaves immediately. Thus the 30.xx sign law is all but unenforceable and is mostly regarded as a bad joke by the gun community.

  42. @HT

And yet Larry Fink, the wire puller who controls these corporations from his Blackrock office threatens to destroy the stock price of any corporation who fails to comply with his demands to further “social justice”.

    Good question.

From a “List of Companies That Support BLM 2021” and “These 18 Corporations Gave Money to Radical Black Lives Matter Group” of donations to BLM, NAACP and BLM-associated orgs, we find companies with no presence on the street who mostly manage IT bunkers and developer towers, who afford virtual-signaling and who may actually profit from being “black” or who figure that paying protection money against bad publicity on the Internet is worth it.

But a complete list would be nice.

The reporting by USA Today never mentions that the six victims of poor, black, brain damaged Phillip Adams were white. Nor do they bother to look into what might have motivated this beast to target the elderly doctor, his wife, their young grandchildren and the two HVAC workers who were on the property. I heard this same brain damage story yesterday on NPR and they made sure to leave out the racial information as well. I think this follow-up to the original reporting of the murder back in April is intended to bury the possibility that anyone, anywhere might just sort of wonder if this faded black sports star had the slightest hint of hatred for white people buried somewhere deep in the blackest part of his black heart.
The original media coverage of this mass murder (all the media) in NC and SC took the same tack by leaving out pictures of the victims. With their usual religious zeal to hide all black sin, every newspaper and TV station refused to address the reality of black hatred of and violence against white people. I was able to identify all six of the murder victims as white but it took some digging; the kind of digging the deceivers who own and control our media assume most people won’t bother to do. The traitors in the mainstream media, the owners, editors, reporters, photographers, janitors and bar tenders are truly the enemies of the white race.
Speaking of blacks killing whites (with trimmings) here’s a little something from Monday, Dec.13 to brighten everyone’s day:

I seem to remember that according to the black mass murderer’s father, his son had a pain medication prescription that deceased doctor would not renew, and that this rejection enraged him.

  53. I think the CEOs are getting exactly what they planned for. Start by giving a token sum (probably part of existing advertising budget) to these WOKE organizations during times of riots when the CEOs’ stores were getting looted. They are insured or take the hit for the looting, either way all people see are stores completely gutted and destroyed. Move forward a couple of months… Now the stores continue to lose because of the flash mobs and the CEOs now see this as a cash injection cow. The CEOs will begin crying (as they are doing now) about how much it’s costing them to stay in all these neighborhoods and CONGRESS will provide the handouts. Remember too big to fail. Can’t have our retail giants go under… free taxpayer money to the rich, again.

Blacks are born brain damaged and crazy. If anything, the collisions probably made him smarter.

    There are lessons here.

Move away from blacks. Don’t help blacks you don’t know, even if they seem to be in trouble. Don’t answer the door for strangers, especially joggers. Arm yourself and stay armed even at home, if you can safely do so. Get in shape, physically and mentally–be prepared and do what it takes to get away from American Africans.

Lock your doors, always. It doesn’t matter that you didn’t do it in Mayberry in 1962– those days are long gone. In 2021, Otis the friendly drunk was lit on fire by Teens and Barney Fife was killed when an aspiring rapper dropped a cinder block on his head from the roof of the Booker T. Washington Homes.

To lurkers, you might not be interested in racial strife, but rest assured it is interested in you. Like it or not, your skin is your uniform and there is a violent army of your enemies out there who would like nothing better than to wipe you out. Ask that Marxist kid in Philadelphia–Mr. Antiracist, “I love black people”–what happened when he didn’t let Teens borrow his car. Oh, that’s right, you can’t ask him anything. He’s dead.

Exactly right. Never do business with anyone who looks or sounds like their name is Travorious. If they manage to fool you in emails or over the phone, and your buyer looks like Travorious, just leave. If you’re into selling online, use fake accounts and burner phones untraceable to you.

Remember, we are in the dawning of the Age of Travorious, and when things go pear-shaped good guys lose.

Never sell guns to groids. People who do that are as dumb, and as big of race traitors, as the water-heads that sold whiskey and rifles to the Indians in the 19th century. Those guys then scratched their head when they came home from work to find their cabin looted and burned with their wife and kids raped and dead. Keep that in mind–the. 357 you sell groids will be used to rob your own kind of the fruits of their work or to end the life of one of our people. Let Travorious buy a rusted Hi-Point 9mm loaded with .380 ammo from their homies.

If you have to use your gun in self-defense, shut your mouth afterwards. Only speak to the cops to point out potential witnesses or to tell them where the bad guy threw his weapon. Nothing more; this kid likely talked himself into a jail cell. https://www.mcall.com/news/breaking/mc-nws-one-dead-in-fountain-hill-shooting-20211210-rkr4pyfyqrdelptbzdq5c4b7nu-story.html

It’s his fault for selling a gun to a stranger, and he was under no threat from the fleeing groid because the gun was most likely unloaded, so he can’t use the feared for my life/he had a gun excuse. His mistake was not collecting his gun from the corpse and running off instead of calling the cops.

Aside from that I agree with never doing business with them, and the few times I have while selling tools on Offer Up, I would meet them in public and was armed.

That’s where a good lawyer would have helped. “I thought I saw him load the gun, and was scared for my life”.

Travorious. I still can’t get over that name.

Can’t have our retail giants go under

Once upon a time, AMZN refused to collect sales tax from CA buyers. The company had a legitimate claim (i.e. court ruling) that it was not doing business in the state.

The state’s dinosaur, brick-&-mortar competitors complained to Sacramento that they were at an unfair disadvantage. Governor Jerry Brown saw that sales tax revenue was dropping (residents were ignoring their obligation to pay it on Tax Day), so he issued a declaration of war (i.e. constant harassment) against Bezos.

JB didn’t care who failed, so long as sales tax revenue growth did not diminish. Public workers (e.g. schoolteachers) had supported him in a big way, and had even given him a year to get the budget in order. The time had come for him to deliver the raises he had (quietly) promised.

This moron is the kind of idiot that tarnishes the public’s perception of the rest of us gun owners/carriers. You really shouldn’t carry one in public without knowing what you can/cannot do lawfully. Also, note how he is being held on “no bond”. If the shithead had killed HIM I guarantee that said shithead would have had a bail amount. White people are ALWAYS treated harsher than our dusky criminals in this country. As was stated by several other posters here, do not do business with groids.
