The rise in fatal/nonfatal shootings across America, almost exclusively in non-white communities, is blamed on COVID-19 and white privilege. Per the Associated Press… [As COVID-19 ravages US, shootings, killings are also up, AP, December 28, 2020]:

When Andre Avery drives his commercial truck through Detroit, he keeps his pistol close.

Avery, 57, grew up in the Motor City and is aware that homicides and shootings are surging, even though before the pandemic they were dropping in Detroit and elsewhere. His gun is legal, and he carries it with him for protection.

“I remain extremely alert,” said Avery, who now lives in nearby Belleville. “I’m not in crowds. If something looks a little suspicious, I’m out of there.”

In Detroit, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and even smaller Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Milwaukee, 2020 has been deadly not only because of the pandemic, but because gun violence is spiking.

Authorities and some experts say there is no one clear-cut reason for the spike. They instead point to social and economic upheaval caused by the COVID-19 virus, public sentiment toward police following George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis police custody and a historic shortage of jobs and resources in poorer communities as contributing factors. It’s happening in cities large and small, Democrat and Republican-led.

Two years ago, Detroit had 261 homicides — the fewest in decades. That year there were about 750 nonfatal shootings in the city of more than 672,000.

But with only a few days left in 2020, homicides already have topped 300, while non-fatal shootings are up more than 50% at more than 1,124 through the middle of December.

“I think the pandemic — COVID — has had a significant emotional impact on people across the country,” Detroit Police Chief James Craig said. “Individuals are not processing how they manage disputes. Whether domestics, arguments, disputes over drugs, there’s this quickness to use an illegally carried firearm.”

About 7,000 guns had been seized through mid-December in Detroit, with more than 5,500 arrests for illegal guns. There were 2,797 similar arrests last year.

“I’ve not seen a spike like this. But when it’s happening in other cities — some smaller — what do we all have in common?” Craig said of the slayings and shootings. “That’s when you start thinking about COVID.”

Washington, D.C., a city of about 700,000, has seen more than 187 homicides this year, eclipsing last year’s total by more than 20. Among the most horrible: A 15-month-old baby boy was shot to death during a drive-by shooting.

“We’re all sick of the heinous crimes in our city,” said Mayor Muriel Bowser.

Crime in parts of the U.S. dropped during the early weeks of the pandemic when stay-at-home orders closed businesses and forced many people to remain indoors.

University of Pennsylvania economics professor David Abrams said crime began to spike in May and June when initial orders in some states were lifted.

Some people “may have been a little stir crazy,” Abrams said. “At the end of May, George Floyd’s killing led to protests and looting. That led to police reform movements. Any of that could have potentially affected individual behavior and also the police response to that.”

Calls for some cities to reduce funding for police departments may have led some officers to take a less aggressive approach to policing, he added.

What the COVID-19 virus did was exacerbate all of the frustration and anger that some in Black and brown communities already were dealing with, according to retired Michigan State University sociology professor Carl Taylor. The virus has killed more than 300,000 people across the country, with minority communities hardest hit.

“The COVID has been absolutely the trigger of an everlasting bomb that’s exploding in many parts of our community,” he added.

Nowhere is that more true than inside people’s homes. “The COVID crisis and the economic shutdown is forcing people into their homes, creating conditions where people are more volatile,” said Kim Foxx, the top prosecutor in Cook County, which includes Chicago. And the most jarring statistic that illustrates that volatility is this: The number of domestic-related homicides in the nation’s third-largest city are up more than 60% compared with last year.

Nationwide in 2020, black people are engaging in near-record numbers of fatal/nonfatal shootings of primarily other people, but we are told (mandated) to believe: A. Black Lives Matter; B. White people/white privilege is behind all of the black violence.

It’s all such a joke.

    It’s all such a joke.

“Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.”

The greatest tragedy of 2020 is how the BLM Riots got swept under the rug of Covid, as if they never happened at all. How despicable that when the Nation is at its lowest point, that an organization like this comes along and kicks it when it’s down! What’s worse is when they do talk about the riots, they lump it in with the virus and try to balance things out by saying the riots were good and ushered in change that ridded the country of evil White racism!

They talk about the mass exodus from the cities as if it only has to do with Covid… yeah that’s it. If anything, it gives people an excuse to tell to their friends and relatives why they’re moving out of the city without having to explicitly state BLACK PEOPLE! THAT’S WHY!!

People think 2020 was bad… just wait, you ain’t seen nothin yet. Buckle up folks!

“there’s this quickness to use an illegally carried firearm.”

So maybe Detroit’s police chief should do something about that. Say demand the legislature pass a mandatory 5 years in prison for being in possession of an illegal firearm. Put a thousand or so of Detroit’s worst hoodrats in prison for 5 years and they are off the street and your cops can focus on clearing old murders instead of being overwhelmed investigating new ones.

Small potatoes compared to the once great city on the shores of Lake Michigan, Chiraq. In 2019 at this time of the year there were 519 recorded homicides, 2020 787! Almost 300 more dead with various ventilation holes. Almost 4200 shot, that number includes the deceased, amazing numbers. The usual percentages again show that rogue Amish citizens are responsible for 80% of the violence with the more peaceful Hispanic residents adding their usual 16% to the total. Damn white folks, Asians, Native Americans, Pacific Islanders, and an assortment of other races make up whopping 4 % of which about half fell victim to their violent demise via the Amish gangsters or the Hispanics. Violent crime isnt a problem, Amish crime is. Thanks to HEYJACKASS.COM for the gory statistics.

  7. The spike in black violence is caused by the newfound boldness of protected, criminal blacks taking up the void of the retreating police. It’s ground that had been fought for over a century and is now being ceded. The bloodletting involved in keeping it, then losing it only to have to reclaim it someday is incalculable.

Police are reluctant or restricted for a myriad of reasons while lawmakers bend backwards to show how ‘progressive’ and forward thinking they are by decriminalizing bad behavior.

Caught in the middle, as always, is the tax paying American citizen who is left with the choice of defending him/herself (sometimes having to break the law to do so) or becoming a statistic in some elected official’s social experiment.

Stop having sex with anything that looks at you. Control muh dickings. If you get a woman with child, try and be a part of that child’s life. Get a job. Keep that job.

No one has ever been able to explain to me how 50,000 years of evolution in totally separate biomes has no effect on intelligence, aggression, impulse control or future thinking. 10. No matter what negative black behavior exists or erupts, they’ll find ways to twist the narrative in order to blame white people for it. In fact, I’m sure there’s probably some white person living in the far northern reaches of Canada who’s somehow to blame for black behavior in Detroit. He just doesn’t know it yet.

As I’ve said before, the narrative is that everything wrong with black people and black culture (no matter where they are) is considered to be the fault of the white man because of something whites did or didn’t do. Blacks are sweet, innocent angels who never do anything wrong and, if they do, it’s only because the white man did or didn’t do something that subsequently forced them into misbehavior and/or criminal activity by leaving them no other choice. Denying that means you’re an evil white racist in denial who needs to be “re-educated” via “sensitivity classes.” You must become “culturally sensitive” and “politically correct” and “aware of your evil” or else. Oh, and don’t forget the gibsmedats while you’re at it- you gots a lot to make up for, honky.

Man shot, killed in Minneapolis’ Seward neighborhood identified

A man who was shot and killed in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis last week has been identified.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as 23-year-old Keithshon Daquan Lamarr Fairley, of St. Paul.

His cause of death was determined to be multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 2000 block of 28th Avenue South at 12:48 a.m. on Dec. 23. When they arrived at the scene, officers found Fairley in a parked vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers began CPR on him until medics arrived, but Fairley was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

Police haven’t announced any arrests in Fairley’s death, as of Monday morning.

“We’re all sick of the heinous crimes in our city,” said Mayor Muriel Bowser.

Well Muriel, what are we going to do about it?

Mayor Bowser Picks MPD Veteran Robert J. Contee To Be D.C.’s Next Police Chief

In picking Contee, Bowser opted for staying within the department, just as she did when she picked Newsham in 2017 and when former mayor Adrian Fenty selected Cathy Lanier in 2007. Contee will also be the city’s first Black police chief since Charles Ramsey in the early 2000s. He will have to be confirmed by the D.C. Council.

Lots of marketing-adjective-laden meaningless feel-good filler text follows:

Earlier this month, the D.C. Police Reform Commission, which was created by the D.C. Council over the summer to recommend changes to how MPD operates, called on Bowser to “implement a robust plan for community engagement” to select a new chief, and asked that a selection panel “take special consideration of the communities who have the most contact with [police],” namely those east of the Anacostia River.

The ACLU of D.C. similarly asked Bowser to consider candidates who would reconsider how MPD engages with residents and communities.

“Our next chief must understand that decentering police — removing the law enforcement response to behaviors that are better addressed by a public health or community intervention — is critical to making our communities safer and stronger,” said Monica Hopkins, the group’s director, in a letter. “D.C’s next police chief must tackle the District’s most urgent problems with an approach unhindered by MPD’s failed practices and culture.”

    In cauda venenum:

While some policing experts [who?] say that MPD has reformed and improved significantly over the last three decades — officers all use body-worn cameras now, and have undergone specialized training in conjunction with the National Museum of African American History and Culture — a new generation of racial justice activists say that traditional policing strategies are failing to prevent violent crime and homicides, which are currently at a 15-year high in D.C. There has been a push to expand two violence interruption initiatives and redirect police funding to other services.

Now stay with me … the COVID is linked inextricably to SR. Yes shocking I know. The COVID kills 99% of Minorities and only .001% of whites. So removing SR is still the objective. It will take probably decades maybe centuries and of course trillions of dollars maybe quadrillions. I know this is horrible to think but whites might be forced into slavery with chains and whips in order to correct this unspeakable injustice. I mean no other race of people ever ever ever suffered so much as Blacks. But first trillions and quadrillions.

Really think about it. How can the police protect the citizenry from a criminal that shows up unexpectedly? The plain truth is that cops cannot protect the individual because they aren’t there when the crime occurs.

The only rational thing to do is to protect yourself with your weapon of choice. The gov’t makes that near impossible with all the laws, clearly in violation of the 2nd Amendment, and does so to guarantee you are always submissive and under their police control.

Cops are there to subjugate you, the hardworking citizen. They aren’t there to fend off the bad guy. Cops are the politicians insurance policy against you getting pissed off at them. Cops protect their paymasters in the political class and don’t care about you. If the laws cared about you, there would be no laws preventing you from protecting yourself; there would be a push to provide weaponry to all citizens that don’t have a police record.

Being vaccinated against the virus did not mean an end to social distancing and other public health measures, chief scientist Dr Soumya Swaminathan told the briefing on Tuesday.

‘I don’t believe we have the evidence on any of the vaccines to be confident that it’s going to prevent people from actually getting the infection and therefore being able to pass it on.

‘So I think we need to assume that people who have been vaccinated also need to take the same precautions,’ Swaminathan said, adding that the vaccine is intended to prevent symptomatic disease as well as severe cases of infection and deaths.

Anglin: What this means, in practice, is that nothing is ever really going to go back to normal.

It is important at this point to take the decision of self defense very seriously. As the police begin to be selective about what they respond to, you can do the job yourself and ‘punch out for the day’ before anyone arrives.

    Don’t be a Bernie Goetz.

Cities are dead. What happens with the suburbs is now the question. You can’t defend your home with firearms or your life as you knew it might well be over. Private security and fortress architecture are the remaining options. These have been employed elsewhere in the world. These are a constant, depressing reminder of what life has come to. Why bother planting some nice flowers amidst bars on your windows, an electrified wall, and a guardbooth on the corner?

In my area, which is approaching 30% Negro, the savages have expanded into what was once the safe suburbs and are in the process of destroying those too. Shootings and violence are everywhere now, not just the Negro city areas. The best hope to live safely is leave the county and move to the next one which is nearly all white with many new real estate developments and also isolated rural areas. It is now necessary to be a good 30 minute drive by interstate highway from the city. Since the Negros are not protected by the politicians out there and there is no bus service, they won’t follow anytime soon.

Dang, one was orcs fighting in prison, the other was a couple sheboons fighting in the aisle at Walmart while their toddler screamed in a shopping cart.

Looks like the private security force was formed by the Buckhead Community Improvement District…

Buckhead could be greatly improved with a simple sign:

    Whites Only

  58. It’s all such a joke.

Isn’t it obvious? You hire a bunch of black people because black. They then come up with insane “theories” as to why they can’t do rational, logical, incisive investigative journalism.

It’s time to confront all Conservatives whom denounce racism and in the same breath pretend that only White People are capable of it.

Here’s a few that need attention

    Dan Bongino
    Michael Savage

    Charlie Kirk
    Ben Shapiro

They are the face of controlled opposition, gate keepers, whom espouse Conservative values built upon the foundation of Anti White Liberalism.

  61. D-FENS says:

The cops can only relocate crime temporarily. It’s like playing wack-a-mole. Especially true when they no longer put them in prison. Since the cops can no longer go after negroes, whites are the low-risk targets of their enforcement actions.

If you live in a place with good demographics, defunding the police makes little difference.

More likely, someone with a whole lot more IQ points and a grudge against YT invents the “theories” for them, and simplifies them enough that blacks can parrot them accurately.

Savage, Levin and Shapiro? Sounds like a New York City law firm. Hmmm?

And much like the NY Times is the furthest limit to which many libs are allowed to “think” these clowns on the right define it for people who think they will be voting their way to the promised land.

    Our job is to survive.

  68. OT: Carjackings are up 200+%, again blamed on Covid and not the people doing the carjackings, while the media scratches their asses trying to figure out how to explain it. Maybe once every YT gives up their cars and starts taking public transit, dindus won’t have to force people out of the cars they worked to own, and use to avoid having to take public transportation.

I happened upon an article by a travel advisory company “The Ten Most Dangerous Cities in America” and looked at similar articles in a Google search.

The cities are ranked by incidents of murder and violet crime. Typically. they are:

    1). St. Louis
    2). Detroit
    3). Baltimore
    4). Memphis
    5). etc.

Not one of the articles says anything about negroes. A lot of violent crime occurs, but no mention of who does it or exactly what these cities have in common.

Haha, I saw this video on LiveLeak and sent it to my dad and a few other realist friends. I can only picture how ball-less the driver was to sit there, let himself be surrounded and have his car attacked like that. In Florida where I live, I would have been well within my rights to light their asses up once they blocked me in and started attacking my vehicle. I would have just run them over though at that point and claimed I feared for my life. I’d wager the driver in this video is probably a lib and is all for diversity, yet lives in an all white building/town.

Rep. Steve King of Iowa came the closest and he is now former Rep. Steve King.

One can look up the demographics of any major city and then cross-reference it with lists of dangerous cities. It’s not as convenient as having the information in a single location but it can be done.

Of course, SBPDL readers know all about chocolate cities. Where there are orcs, there are murders and violent crime.

  75. @Trevor

Because sometimes stating facts, according to them, is racist.
The irony is , they make the racist claim so often it no longer has any meaning
