You can really measure a minority group by their ability to utilize opportunities.

For instance, if it was the case that discrimination was prevalent enough to keep Asians out of jobs as police, doctors, professors, etc., but we came up with rules that attempted to increase the number of Asians and even lowered some of the standards to enable them to get a foot in the door, we would be overall very satisfied with the results.

Even if we do not believe in diversity on principle and have zero desire to demographically displace ourselves, I’ve never thought of an ethnic Japanese surgeon or ethnic Vietnamese police officer as someone who is going to fail me personally…Of course there is always the potential for ethnic nepotism and corruption to personally enrich themselves & their community, but this is even something that we have known to occasionally be a reality among even White minority groups.

It just says something that they would rise to the occasion… And it says something else that other groups tend to drop the ball.

When the chances extended to your community by the host majority only end up getting attention because of how bad you fail to make anything of them… You’ve got a major problem, and the programs should actually be terminated because they only serve to hurt everyone else and make an even bigger ass of an already failing community.
