Tolerance. Acceptance. Not judging others by the content of their character nor the color of the skin. Sadly, St. Martin Luther King Jr. – who, with Mein Obama and Jackie Robinson will one day adorn the Black Mount Rushmore – never said anything in his Sermon on the Mount about Gay people and, more specifically, Gay Marriage.

The virtues of tolerance and inclusion are bedrocks of white people’s upbringing and how they are expected to live, as they are constantly told not be judgmental, intolerant, prejudicial nor racist toward any race, homophobic to different sexual orientations or intolerant to disabled people

Racism and homophobia are twin diseases in Post-Obama America and will be deemed psychological disorders that require heavy medication in the near future. Of course, only white people can be homophobic or racist and they will be heavily sedated so as to eradicate the only source of evil left on the planet that could disrupt THE AGE OF OBAMA.

Black people however, can do no wrong when it comes to racism nor homophobia. So 96 percent of Black people voted for Obama in the 2008 election? So what? Black people just wanted to feel proud and ensure that they could see the day they never thought they would in their lifetime!

That’s not racist! It’s racist to even point out that 96 percent of Black people voted for Mein Obama! Black people are immune from being called as a racist, for only white people can be racist.

And, only white people can be homophobic, even though 70 percent of Black people voted to defeat Gay Marriage in California:

“…one of an overwhelming number – 70 percent – of black voters in California who voted for Proposition 8 and helped secure its passage, according to exit polling conducted by Edison Media Research and Mitofsky International. African Americans, energized by Barack Obama’s presidential bid, boosted their numbers at the polls this year to 10 percent of the state’s electorate, up from 6 percent in 2004.”The Obama people were thrilled to turn out high percentages of African Americans, but (Proposition 8) literally wouldn’t have passed without those voters,” said Gary Dietrich, president of Citizen Voice, a nonpartisan voter awareness organization.”

But that’s not homophobic! Black people were just excited about Mein Obama and his imminent coronation and in their jubilation, accidentally voted 70 percent of the time for keeping homosexuals from getting married.

It’s obvious that Black people believe that “queering doesn’t make the world work,” and are shocked that such a proposition could be put forth at a time when the Black family is making a triumphant return from its recent nosedive into the 70 percent of Black babies born out of wedlock.

Family values, after all, are the bedrock of the Black community.

Why Black people against Gay Marriage, when the rest of the enlightened United States is for it?:

“The NBJC report … cites surveys showing that “65% of African-Americans are opposed to marriage equality compared to 53% of Whites” and that blacks are “less than half as likely to support marriage equality and legal recognition of same-sex civil unions as Whites.” It concludes: “African-Americans are virtually the only constituency in the country that has not become more supportive over the last dozen years, falling from a high of 65% support for gay rights in 1996 to only 40% in 2004.” Nor is the problem dying out: “Among African-American youth, 55% believed that homosexuality is always wrong, compared to 36% of Latino youth and 35% of White youth.”Why the gap?

The answer is: They think sexual orientation is different from race. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke of a nation in which individuals would be judged not “by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” Whites, on balance, have come to believe that sexual orientation, like color, is immutable. Blacks, on balance, haven’t. They see homosexuality as a matter of character.”

Black people can’t be homophobic. The intolerant and racist coat can only be worn by white people. It doesn’t fit Black people well and they can easily shed its uncomfortable fabric.

However, Stuff Black People Don’t Like includes Gay Marriage and yet, their disapproval of homosexuals exchanging wedding vows isn’t based on hate, intolerance, bigotry or homophobia, but merely family values.

Only white people can be hateful. Black people, especially in the AGE OF OBAMA are immune from any negativity.

  1. And yet all these "family values" don't keep Blacks from voting for Democratic politicians who are openly pro-homosexual. Clearly government hadnouts are far more important to Blacks than any moral positions they may take.

just a waste of effort now attempting to exist in the same space. Give blacks their own states, give white their own states, agree to disagree and dont have any further contact with them. The hispanics can live in the black states (until they get sick of the blacks too)

  3. Of the typical Black voter that turned up to the California polls, I think the Black in them voted Obama and the Christian in them voted against gay marriage. Perhaps this issue is more about religion than color. It just happens that more blacks are religious.

GAY MARRIAGE? Well from what I see on either side of the fense, "It can be a lose lose," depending on why the 2 folk's are together to begin with? I'd NEVER marry because, "I'm too much of a giver," to get a companion who is NOT a taker IS really a search I don't believe is worth the trouble! So my conclusion to my story was to, "MARRY MYSELF & GIVE MYSELF THE BEST YEARS OF MY LIFE." I'm gay by the way & VERY HAPPY!!!

I may not approve of the gay lifestyle but, I think the answer is to remove the government control over marriage entirely. If gays want to get married let them do it in a gay church. If straits want to marry let them do it in a conventional church. Everything else gay or strait should be a civil union. Whatever happened to the separation of church and state? Some English king made himself head of the church because the Pope wouldn't give him a divorce. That is no case for precedence and is most certainly a violation of the separation of church and state ideology.

Many black males are on the down-low yet are in denial that that at least makes them bi! they believe that since they have relationships with women that they could not possibly be gay and therefore are vehemently against anything gay including marriage lest they be called "fag"!! Black females are contracting hiv at an alarming rate and its mostly because because boyfriend or hubby is dipping in(or dipped in) the poop chute before he heads home! Those card games with the guys or im going watch the game with the guys nights may not be so innocent!

"Many black males are on the down-low … dipping in the poop chute"

Dude, I'm White and I find that insulting!

It is true however, that promiscuous sex is a risk factor for HIV. Of the greatest risk 'sex acts' sodomy is the worst. I thought marriage was about sexual fidelity amongst other things so I don't think HIV has much to do with this argument.

Even with the gap, it's just a gap. There's plenty of all races that don't want to live in a society with same sex marriage.
When the whole dang world with the exception of a handful of countries still deems same sex marriage a joke, it's rather difficult to pin that one on "Blacks".

  10. The thing is, if gay marriage passes, then where does it end? What's to stop a man from wanting to marry a Rottweiler, or a woman marrying a horse? What about adults who want to "marry" a pre-adolescent child?

  11. Anonymous • Disclaimer says:

Who cares if some moron wants to marry his horse. The government should not have control over marriage at all. No religous leader should ever say, "by the power vested in me by the state…". If you don't believe in the views of the 'church of bestiality' so be it. Think about it. Why does the government control marriage, an inherently religious contract? Sexual acts with pre-adolescent children are allready illegal.

  12. Ha! This one didn't turn out quite how you wanted. Why, in every state except California and Georgia, have blacks voted at lower rates against marriage/adoption equality than whites? Hmmm, do more research.

  13. Anonymous • Disclaimer says:

Blacks are lazy…now that Obama is in the White House, they wont show up to vote again until the next election. It just KILLS me to hear that blacks have a problem with gay marriage because of religion…LOL. Where is their religion when they father all these illegitimate children. Gays are getting organized, Soap Operas are having major story lines, the "shock value" is wearing off. State by state we are slowly getting the rights to marry. We will win this…its going to take time, and perserverance. I think that since we have a black President…we should repeal Affirmative Action, that would let the 70% of blacks that voted to uphold prop 8 something to do…idle hands are the devil's workshop. Clearly when people that ARE NOT gay have nothing better to concern themselves with gay issues…too much time on their hands.

The high amount of HIV in the black community is a result of both heroin and bi-sexual men who keep their male encounters a secret.

Coming out for a thug is a death sentence, if your homeboys don't kill you, your secret boyfriend will.

So they hide it, and have sex with women too.

  15. " "…one of an overwhelming number – 70 percent – of black voters in California who voted for Proposition 8 and helped secure its passage, according to exit polling conducted by Edison Media Research and Mitofsky International."

It sure is nice to learn that even blacks are good for something…
