You can always count on the neocons in Congress to ignore reality, ignore evidence, and ignore common sense in their endless drive to get us involved in another war. Last week, for example, Senators John McCain (R-AZ), Lindsey Graham (R-NC), Bob Menendez (D-NJ), and others joined up to introduce what Senator Graham called “the sanctions bill from hell,” aimed at applying “crushing” sanctions on Russia.

Senator Graham bragged that the bill would include “everything but the kitchen sink” in its attempt to ratchet up tensions with Russia.

Sen Cory Gardner (R-CO) bragged that the new sanctions bill “includes my language requiring the State Department to determine whether Russia merits the designation of a State Sponsor of Terror.”

Does he even know what the word “terrorism” means?

Sen Ben Cardin (D-MD) warns that the bill must be passed to strengthen our resolve against “Vladimir Putin’s pattern of corroding democratic institutions and values around the world, a direct and growing threat to US national security.”

What has Russia done that warrants “kitchen sink” sanctions that will “crush” the country and possibly designate it as a sponsor of terrorism? Sen. Menendez tells us: “The Kremlin continues to attack our democracy, support a war criminal in Syria, and violate Ukraine’s sovereignty.”

There is a big problem with these accusations on Russia: they’re based on outright lies and unproven accusations that continue to get more bizarre with each re-telling. How strange that when US Senators like Menendez demand that we stand by our NATO allies even if it means war, they attack Russia for doing the same in Syria. Is the Syrian president a “war criminal,” as he claims? We do know that his army is finally, with Russian and Iranian help, about to defeat ISIS and al-Qaeda, which with US backing for seven years have turned Syria into a smoking ruin. Does Menendez and his allies prefer ISIS in charge of Syria?

And how hypocritical for Menendez to talk about Russia violating Ukraine’s sovereignty. The unrest in Ukraine was started by the 2014 US-backed coup against an elected leader. We have that all on tape!

How is Russia “attacking our democracy”? We’re still waiting for any real evidence that Russia was involved in our 2016 elections and intends to become involved in our 2018 elections. But that doesn’t stop the propagandists, who claim with no proof that Russia was behind the election of Donald Trump.

These Senators claim that sanctions will bring the Russians to heel, but they are wrong. Sanctions are good at two things only: destroying the lives of innocent civilians and leading to war.

As I mentioned in an episode of my Liberty Report last week, even our own history shows that sanctions do lead to war and should not be taken lightly. In the run-up to US involvement in the War of 1812, the US was doing business with both France and the UK, which were at war with each other. When the UK decided that the US was favoring France in its commerce, it imposed sanctions on the US. What did Washington do in response? Declared war. Hence the War of 1812, which most Americans remember as that time when the British burned down the White House.

Recent polls show that the majority of Americans approve of President Trump’s recent meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Among Republicans, a vast majority support the meeting. Perhaps a good defeat in November will wake these neocon warmongers up. Let’s hope so!

ISRAEL IS NOT A STATE SPONSOR OF TERROR—IT IS THE TERRORIST STATE; JEWHAD.

Thanks for the interesting article, Sir.

Ms. Graham is from SC, not NC.

These neo-cons are deranged and just doing the bidding of their Zionist owners and operators, who want to punish Russia for getting in the way of Israel’s plan to steal land from Syria (and other historic reasons).

The biggest state sponsor, nay, doer, of terror is Israel, a criminal terrorist state that shoots innocent Palestinian children and traffics humans into Europe as “refugees” using fake NGO’s.

Even Chomsky, a Jewish scholar, and a darling of the left, agrees that Israeli interference in US elections “vastly overwhelms” what Russia has done (if anything):

    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/israel-us-elections-intervention-russia-noam-chomsky-donald-trump-a8470481.html

For Muslims, killing infidels is called Jihad. For Judaists, this is their Jewhaad.

How is Russia “attacking our democracy”?

Well Dr. Paul, I suspect that some of the hysteria vis-a-vis “Russian hacking”, goes directly to the issue of that very damning phone call with Victoria Nuland- deciding on the phone who would be the next president of Ukraine, now that the zio-west had established “democracy” in the Ukraine, by foisting a violent putsch to remove the democratically elected government and install one that suits it.

When Russia released that phone call, it embarrassed the zio-west. And that isn’t something they like very much. No.

So we get a mob hysteria 24/7, about “Russian hacking”, year after languorous year, all because Russia broke a protocol on deep-state treachery.

What has Russia done that warrants “kitchen sink” sanctions that will “crush” the country and possibly designate it as a sponsor of terrorism?

That’s a silly question Dr. Paul. You of all people know the obvious answer to that, as do most of us with half a brain cell.

What Russia did was upset the Zionists plans for TOTAL domination of the Middle East by having the idiot ZUSA destroy “seven nations” in the greater Levant.

    But noooo!

Russia (Putin) had to go in there and save the Assad government, and thereby complicate Israel’s scheme to steal the Golan Heights!

For that he’s Adolf Hitler and so is anyone who supports him. Like Donald Trump, when he isn’t frothing enough over Putin being Adolf Hitler.

I wish I was joking about all of that, but alas, it really is that mind-bogglingly puerile.

Does Menendez and his allies prefer ISIS in charge of Syria?

They’ve said as much. Yes, yes they do. Just as they prefer a dystopian nightmare in Libya and Iraq and Yemen and everywhere else their Satanic lust for rapine and murder take them.

    Hence the War of 1812,

Actually Dr. Paul, there is a very good argument that the war of 1812 was in direct response to the Bank of England demanding the colonies use fiat debt paper provided to them at interest. Something I’m surprised you of all people are unaware of.

War of 1812 was conspired by the Rothschild family and executed by England against the United States of America because of their failure to renew the charter for the privately controlled Bank of America.

Nathan Rothschild of the Bank of England issued this chilling statement to the United States in 1811. He said, ““Either the application for the renewal of the charter is granted, or the United States will find itself involved in a most disastrous war.”

    Let us hope so Sir!

God bless you and God speed to your son Rand. His actions of late give me great hope for his career as a statesman worthy of your name.

Note that Israel will not participate in the U.S. sanctions regime applied to Russia, which would seem to be to the advantage of Israeli importers/exporters. Kind of amazing that we can’t get them to go along with such an important and vital US policy. Maybe Lindsay Graham can convince them to go along?

Mr. Paul I must say I like and respect you, and your son Rand. lt is hard to believe we have such a cowardly pack of moronic idiots in the House. They must either be taking outrageous bribes and/or, someone or some controlling group has serious evidence of the morons diddling little boys on Epstein’s fantasy island. The shite that comes from their mouths is down right silly. All of this begs this question. How in hell did you work so many years with such transparent trash? I really want to know. After all, to some degree a man is judged by who his associates are.
If I sound harsh please forgive me, It’s just because Washington has for so long now been comedy central, and it’s supposed to be the exact opposite, that I can’t imagine a sane man hanging around for too long.

What boggles my mind is how families such as the Rothschild’s, Schiff’s, and the others have’nt been murdered, down to the 10th removed cousin, by the action of a state. It shouldn’t be that hard to do. Just wondering.

    yea, vital US policy

    good one!

it is fascinating in a certain Machiavellian way how the geopolitics of the ZUSA are so veiled in treachery and guile.

Israel does all its war mongering by proxy. Using the US as its rabid dog on a leash. While pretending to be neutral. It’s a farce that Putin and Lavrov and Bibi and Trump all dance to, pretending that the US has some vital interest in Syria, etc.. as Putin and Bibi hash it out.

The real enemies in the world today are Russia vs. Israel. And the conflict is specifically over the status of the Golan Heights. (which is very carefully never mentioned)

Israel wants to steal the oil rich Golan fee simple, and Putin is telling them ‘no’, the land belongs to Syria.

And so the ZUS goes bumbling in there to smash things like a drunken bull in a china shop, to show that Israel is not happy about Russia saving Syria.

But none of this can ever be said out loud. Instead Bibi goes to Moscow and says ‘well, I’ll just give you more trouble with my bitch the ZUSA, unless you tell Assad that Israel can steal the Golan, and also we don’t want Iran any where near Hezbollah in Lebanon.’

And that’s what’s going on behind the scenes. 😉

  7. @ohmy

Ohmy, first-off, I think it may be just your writing style in addressing the writer (and I do the same a lot), but please don’t figure that Dr. Paul would ever read, much less reply, here. This is a syndicated column, like Mr. Buchanan’s, that may appear on multiple 1000’s of sites. Lots of those sites have comments, but even if only 5% or so do, just on time alone, Ron Paul would likely not have time to read them all. I wish he would too, as I’m an admirer of his, which brings up my argument with your comment.

Ron Paul did not exactly “WORK WITH” these congresscritters in Washington, FS, for those 3-4 decades or so. He was there to represent his district in Texas, and he did an admirable job. Because Dr. Paul was one of the few there who understood, and actually gave a damn about, the US Constitution, he did not work with ANY of those f__kers, and was therefore known as “Dr. No” for voting down all sorts of Big-Gov crap.

Maybe Dr. Paul had to quit because of your very reason, his sanity!

As far as this article goes, yeah, over our American Pravda, yeah, I’m gonnn have to believe the Russians.

    @ohmy

How in hell did you work so many years with such transparent trash?

that, ohmy – is why Dr. Paul is such a great and noble man.

Because he lived and worked in that sewer.

    He’s like Andy in Shawshank

“shit-smelling foulness I can’t even imagine, or maybe I just don’t want to”

But even as he worked in that den of treason and perfidy, Dr. Paul always kept his integrity.

Trying to undo their evils, and even running for president, as the Fiend (especially the GOP) did all it could to cheat and thwart this honest patriot and statesman.

Thomas Jefferson and George Washington had the benefit of peers that were also honest men of integrity, and so it wouldn’t have been as tough to do what was right. Since they were all more or less committed to doing what was right.

But Dr. Ron Paul never had that blessing, of working with other honest men and women to do what was right. Hardly.

No, Dr. Paul’s greatness is due very much to the fact that he (and his son) are operating in a den of iniquity that would choke a pit viper.

Imagine being the only honest man in a room full of traitors and criminals. Knowing the gravity of sending young Americans to die (killing innocent people) in wars waged to benefit the most intractable and sinister of all America’s enemies.

Imagine what it must be like to listen to John McCain accuse your son of treason, knowing there isn’t a more treasonous man alive, than John McCain. Or stand there as 9/11-Giuliani questions your patriotism.

Imagine the depth of character it requires to watch that and stay composed and unflappable.

No, knowing how Satanically evil our congress and the apparatchiks of the Fiend in DC are, and how treasonous and rotten to the core… is not a reason to denigrate Ron Paul, but quite the opposite. It shows all the more what a remarkable man he actually is.

I’ve thought this for years, but never had a good opportunity to actually say it out loud. So thank you for prodding me to get those sentiments out.

  9. Rurik says:
    @Achmed E. Newman

he did not work with ANY of those f__kers

I see you beat me to it.

My sentiments mirror yours vis-a-vis the distinguished statesman (and overall decent and honest man) Dr. Ron Paul.

Russia (Putin) had to go in there and save the Assad government, and thereby complicate Israel’s scheme to steal the Golan Heights!

Putin also kicked out the leading Jewish oligarch Khodorkovsky & friends ending their Russian bid for power, rather like the Freikorps finished off Rosa Luxemburg (Berlin) and Eugen Levine (Munich) and their Bolshevik inspired German coups (1919).

In return for thwarting their plans, Germany’s National Socialists earned the undying hatred of world Jewry, the same as Putin is getting now (and Trump – for upsetting the Hillary show and introducing toxic – for them – nationalist MAGA ideas).

  11. It’s strange to observe this society from within realizing that we have reverted to 16th century aristocratic politics while citizens have reverted to indebted feudal subjects n a ruling ethnic Tribe calls all the shots. Neocons n Lefticons ostensibly fall onto opposite extremes of the spectrum yet they persist in pulling the wagon of state inexorably toward war like matched oxen, just like rich Jews n Bolsheviks pulled together in 1917 to ensure the success of their Messiah Lenin’s dictatorship over a sixth of the Earth.

Not even Presidential elections or Constitutions can change the course, just as they can no longer reclaim “our” universities which have become the monasteries of the Judaized PC Cult that is the new state religion cementing control by the new aristocracy, effectively a state within a state. I wonder if the Jewish military, formerly called the US Marines n AirForce, will win the dynasts’ crusade against Putin n their historical arch-enemy, the Russian Orthodox Church? Whether they win or lose is all the same to me, my only stake is the crushing taxes n interest I pay.
