This week the latest Democratic Party attempt to remove President Trump from office – impeachment over Trump allegedly holding up an arms deal to Ukraine – flopped. Just like “Russiagate” and the Mueller investigation, and a number of other attempts to overturn the 2016 election.

We’ve had three years of accusations and investigations with untold millions of dollars spent in a never-ending Democratic Party effort to remove President Trump from office.

Why do the Democrats keep swinging and missing at Trump? They can’t make a good case for abuse of power because they don’t really oppose Trump’s most egregious abuses of power. Congress, with a few exceptions, strongly supports the President flouting the Constitution when it comes to overseas aggression and shoveling more money into the military-industrial complex.

In April, 2018, President Trump fired 100 Tomahawk missiles into Syria allegedly as punishment for a Syrian government chemical attack in Douma. Though the US was not under imminent threat of attack from Syria, Trump didn’t wait for a Congressional declaration of war on Syria or even an authorization for a missile strike. In fact, he didn’t even wait for an investigation of the event to find out what actually happened! He just decided to send a hundred missiles – at a cost of hundreds of millions of dollars – into Syria.

We are now finding out from whistleblowers on the UN team that investigated the alleged attack that the report blaming the Syrian government was falsified and that the whole “attack” was nothing but a false flag operation.

Is such unauthorized aggression against a country with which we are not at war not worth investigating as a potential “high crime” or “misdemeanor”?

Last month, President Trump authorized the assassination of a top Iranian General, Qassim Soleimani, and a top Iraqi military officer inside Iraqi territory while Soleimani was on a diplomatic mission. Trump and his Administration tried to claim that the attack was essential because of an “imminent threat” of a Soleimani attack on US troops in the region.

We found out shortly afterward that they lied about the “imminent threat.” The assassination was not “urgent” – it was planned back in June. Trump then claimed it didn’t matter whether there was an imminent threat: Soleimani was a bad guy so he deserved to be assassinated.

But the attack was an act of war on Iran without Congressional declaration or authorization for war. Is that not perhaps a “high crime” or “misdemeanor”?

We are finding out that, contrary to Trump claims, Soleimani was not even behind the December attack on US troops in Iraq. New evidence suggests it was actually an ISIS operation attempting to goad the US into moving against Iraq’s Shia militias.

Fantasies about Trump being an agent of Putin or trying to get Ukraine to help him win the election are presented as urgent reasons Trump must be removed from office. Real-life violations of the Constitution and reckless militarism that may get us embroiled in another Middle East war are shrugged off as “business as usual” by both Democrats and Republicans in Washington.

Democrats won’t move against Trump for what may be real “high crimes” and “misdemeanors” because they support his overseas aggression. They just wish they were the ones pulling the trigger.

  1. This should be required reading for the “Trump can do no wrong” crowd and the “Trump is more evil than Hitler and Stalin combined” Democrat crowd alike.

  2. It is one of the sad facts of the history of the USA, and speaks to the corruption of this country, that Ron Paul was never president.

Yes, there are two main factions to the Deep State…the Republicans and the Democrats. The Deep State doesn’t care about the unimportant internecine squabbles of the ‘two parties’ as long as their important issues are maintained. As a matter of fact it strengthens the false perception that there is a choice when voting.

  9. Trump is not an hidden agent of Putin and Russia. He is an open and avowed agent of Netanyahu and Israel.

But so are most of our spineless political class, who are either willing Zionist fifth column traitors, or held in thrall by the broader Zionist fifth column which dominates political “contributions”, the information and entertainment industries, the federal bureaucracy, finance, the law, and large swaths of the intelligentsia and so called higher education in the USA.

This domination is now so complete that even daring to mention it risks ostracism, a loss of one’s career and livelihood, and even worse.

It’s not quite true. To his credit, Obama did manage to bring some peace to the ME with the JCPOA, something that the Orange ZioNazi could not stomach. For all his faults, Obama had 50 times the balls of the Orange Traitor when it comes to Israel.

The big irony is that the ConTards demeaned Obama for bowing to the Saudi Barbarian and Japanese Emperor (which he shouldn’t have done, but it’s interesting he did it as it subtly shows the true power of the hereditary dictatorships – and maybe Obama was trying to signal that), but yet they love it when the Orange Satan bends over and spreads his cheeks while NutAndYahoo squirts Kosher Kum in his arse.

OK, TrumpTARDs are just particularly idiotic fools, but my point here is: the Democrats are not as virulent vis-a-vis Iran as are the ZioNazi Republicans.

    ROTFL! You are kidding right?

NEO-NAZI, Leftist Authoritarian, Barack Hussein poured gasoline on the fires in the Middle East and made everything worse. He personally delivered pallets of cash to the sociopath Ayatollah intentionally creating more violence.

Barack Hussein, the Submissive, defines the term “ball-less”. Michele had his plus her own. It is impossible to have less balls than the craven one.

Barack Hussein was quicker to surrender to {insert name here} than the French.

We get it. You do not like Trump. But, everyone understands that Obama has taken his place as worst President in U.S. History. Barack Hussein’s trail of corruption, deception, and anti-Americanism was thousands of times worse than anything Nixon could have even thought of.

Obama was no saint, but your Bibi-type cartoon demonstrates your hasbara.
    – Iran is an NPT signatory. As a signatory, it is permitted to develop nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

    – The US, as a NPT signatory, is required to assist in the development of the peaceful technology.

    – The IAEA has conducted, with Iran’s agreement and co-operation, the most invasive inspection regime of any NPT signatory, and has consistently reported that there is no evidence of a weapons programme.

    – The JCPOA was a voluntary restriction on its rights under the NPT. The 5% enrichment level prevented it from producing Molybdenum99 (20% enrichment), the precursor for Technetium99, which is used in the radio pharmaceuticals for medical diagnostic procedures. It is a billion dollar industry annually. The JCPOA left US corporations and Israel to continue overcharging for the radio pharmaceuticals, due to the “shortage” that would not exist if Iran were producing it.

    – Fatwas are credible, to your ilk, when pronounced against 3rd rate authors like Salman Rushdie, but not credible when pronounced against the production of nuclear weapons in Iran – twice.

    – The “$400 Million Ransom” is only part of the money stolen by the US government post revolution. The money, which was held in the NY Fed, was for the sale, in US dollars, of Iranian oil. All or some of the Iranian oil did may or may not have entered the US.

    – Obama and Clinton had no problem signing off on ten times the above amount for Israel, for nothing in return, despite the amendments by Senators Symington and Glen, to the 1961 Foreign Assistance Act, prohibiting aid to non NPT signatories.

Iran’s hands aren’t as clean as some people may believe, but compared to Israel’s, they are sterilized.

I don’t know or care WTF exactly you are taking about. My point was that both squads, Red AND Blue, of THE PARTY want the warfare state to continue. Ron Paul was quite correct with his statement on this. Your post below this one I’m replying to (#16 as of now) is a whole lot of detail that doesn’t change the main point. NONE of that is anything the US military should be involved in.

One of Donald Trump’s campaign promises was to end (at least a lot of) this stuff. Either he lied or was Neoconned.

Isn’t is Muslim Communist Neo-Nazi? lmfao

Wow, you still suffer from massive Obama Derangement Syndrome. He did not deliver anything personally, the Ayatollah is not a sociopath (certainly not compared to the war criminal sociopaths in the US, Israel, Saudi Arabia and UK), and Iran helps the victims of ZioNazi aggression, which makes them actually the opposite of Nazis, more like freedom fighters.

Barack Hussein, the Submissive, defines the term “ball-less”. Michele had his plus her own. It is impossible to have less balls than the craven one.

Not true, e.g. the Orange Satan has no balls at all, he’s a treasonous coward war criminal.

Barack Hussein was quicker to surrender to {insert name here} than the French.

And who did he surrender to that the Orange Coward hasn’t even more quickly?

Between impossible enforcement and the ten year time limit, JCPOA was designed to start a nuclear arms race for Military Industrial Complex [MIC] investor elites, such as the Bidens, Clintons, Kerrys, etc.

    – The IAEA has conducted, with Iran’s agreement and co-operation, the most invasive inspection regime of any NPT signatory, and has consistently reported that there is no evidence of a weapons programme.

The IAEA consistently reported violations by Iran. For example: (1)

In February, a month after the deal went into effect, the IAEA had noted for the first time that Iran had exceeded its allotted limit of heavy water. That time, Iran exceeded the limit by a greater amount, with 130.9 tonnes.

And, the very incomplete IAEA findings do not include:

    — Off-limits military sites that made the agreement unenforceable.
    — IAEA findings that Iran managed to quash.

    – Iran is an NPT signatory. As a signatory, it is permitted to develop nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

Except that it is proven fact that Iran was developing nuclear weapons, not peaceful uses.

Again, JCPOA was intended to have the long term impact of helping Iran obtain nuclear weapons.

    PEACE 😇

One of Donald Trump’s campaign promises was to end (at least a lot of) this stuff. Either he lied or was Neoconned.

    Neoconned is an apt term.

Deep State holdovers, NeoConDemocrats, from the Obama administration have thwarted Trump’s efforts to extract the U.S. from Syria and Afghanistan.

There have been some gains though. Trump rolled the Deep State actors by relocating U.S. Troops in Syria to the nearly unpopulated SE border with Jordan under the pretext of ‘protecting oil’ that didn’t need protecting. As a result Erdogan’s fiasco does not impact U.S. Troops and will not obtain any NATO support.

Trump is busy ejecting Globalist, Obama holdovers from the NSC (1), State Dept. (2), and other parts of the U.S. Goverment. His 2nd term should produce better results where disengagement is a viable option — primarily Libya, Syria, and Afghanistan.
    _______

Iran is a more difficult issue. Obama built up the Shia threat to Middle East stability. It would be immoral for Trump to abandon innocents to the brutality of Iranian colonization.

Fortunately, there will not be a war. Sanctions and isolation are creating intolerable internal pressures against sociopath Khameni. The Iranian people want a new leader, so it is a matter of time and patience until the problem resolves itself. To address domestic concerns, any new Iranian leader will inevitably stop spending on regional aggression.

Once Iran stops destabilizing the region, this opens the door for:

    — Disengaging with Iraq.
    — Beginning to separate Saudi Arabia and U.S. interests.

There is a great deal of potential as long as Trump keeps the Presidency.
