If the sailors were treated well, the world would view Israeli officials in a kinder light. If not, the world would view Israeli officials in a harsher light.

Why leave the treatment of the sailors subject to a “he said, she said” analysis? This incident served as an opportunity to characterize the IDF as humane before the world – but only if filming was allowed and the cell phones were not confiscated.

3. The video at no. 28 speaks about one of the vessels not carrying any aid for the starving Palestinians – the purpose of the event – thus, implying nefarious motives. However, that not ALL of the vessels carried aid is understandable since many of the 500 vessels joined the flotilla as a show of solidarity.

Thus, how many vessels (from at least a quasi-impartial source, not the Israeli government) carried aid? 499?

4. Why do the defenders of Israel uniformly ignore or lie about where the IDF intercepted the flotilla?

The flotilla was intercepted in international waters, not the territorial waters of Israel. But since this interception, in and by itself, characterizes the IDF as a lawless group of pirates, the defenders of Israel uniformly ignore or lie about the interception. This of course, casts doubt on the entire pro-Israel narrative.

So, by the latest account it was around 2300, orderly executed, in batches, around Srebrenica. You know the drill: packed in those schools/warehouses/whatever, sorted in batches of around 50, tied up of course, marched to the pits and gunned down. Covering the dead was an interesting exercise, according to that unit commander testimony in Hague.

My guess: it was Mladic, himself. He ordered, directly and in private, of course, Beara and the Captain executed (pun intended) the mission. Quite competently, for Balkans standards of the time. Almost as competent as your arch enemy Nazi Croats in WW2. Anyway….
