If one seriously seeks to understand how delusional policymakers in Washington are it is only necessary to examine the responses by the president and Congress to the assassination of Iranian Major General Qassem Soleimani. The first response came in the form of a Donald Trump largely incoherent nine-minute self-applauding speech explaining what he had done and why. It was followed by a House of Representatives War Powers non-binding resolution that was all theater and did nothing to limit the president’s unilateral ability to go to war with the Islamic Republic.

It was reported that the Trump speech had been hurriedly written by aides the night before it was given and that it existed in several competing drafts. It was full of out-and-out lies and half truths and intended to reassure the American people that the president was keeping them safe. The opening line might well be regarded as some kind of joke: “As long as I am President of the United States, Iran will never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon.” Trump has in fact done more to ensure that Iran will have a nuclear weapon than any other president through his abrupt withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action (JCPOA) and his assassination of Soleimani, which together have convinced the Iranian leadership that there is no possibility of a reasonable negotiated solution when dealing with the American president, even when he claims he wants to “talk.”

Trump then went on characteristically to eulogize our brave soldiers on far flung battlefields before lying again, saying “For far too long — all the way back to 1979, to be exact — nations have tolerated Iran’s destructive and destabilizing behavior in the Middle East and beyond. Those days are over. Iran has been the leading sponsor of terrorism, and their pursuit of nuclear weapons threatens the civilized world. We will never let that happen.” Lie one is that the “destructive and destabilizing behavior” actually has Made in U.S.A. stamped all over it. Lie two is “leading sponsor of terrorism,” an honor that belongs to Israel, Saudi Arabia and the United States, in that order. And lie three is that Iran “pursued” nuclear weapons. It has never done so.

Trump them boasted that “Last week, we took decisive action to stop a ruthless terrorist from threatening American lives. At my direction, the United States military eliminated the world’s top terrorist, Qasem Soleimani. As the head of the Quds Force, Soleimani was personally responsible for some of the absolutely worst atrocities.” Trump’s preening was again wrong on every count: Soleimani is no terrorist by any reasonable definition, nor is there any evidence that he threatened American lives. And Trump and his chorus of neocons cannot name a single “atrocity” committed by the man

The president claimed that Soleimani “…viciously wounded and murdered thousands of U.S. troops, including the planting of roadside bombs that maim and dismember their victims,” a particularly absurd charge suggesting that Trump believes that any American soldier who died in Iraq or Afghanistan did so at the hands of the Iranian Major General. By the same logic, the musical chairs series of American generals that have served in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria have murdered hundreds of thousands of people. If Trump wants to start counting fatalities he should perhaps start with David Petraeus.

Piling Ossa on Pelion, Trump declared that Soleimani “…orchestrated the violent assault on the U.S. embassy in Baghdad. In recent days, he was planning new attacks on American targets, but we stopped him.” There is no evidence whatsoever to support either assertion and Trump then goes on to ascribe all the problems of the Middle East to Iran, ignoring the roles played by others, most notably Washington, Israel and the Saudis. He also roundly condemned the JCPOA before asserting falsely that “Three months ago, after destroying 100 percent of ISIS and its territorial caliphate, we killed the savage leader of ISIS, al-Baghdadi…” In reality, ISIS was defeated by the Syrian Army and its allies Russia and Iran, the very countries that Trump has continued to vilify even as he struts his anti-terrorist credentials. Qassem Soleimani played a major role in the destruction of ISIS.

The only good things in the Trump speech were that it was short and the president did not find it necessary to say a whole lot of good things about Israel. Interestingly, no one in the mainstream media or in the political chattering class made much effort to challenged Trump on the “facts” he cited, though there was some pushback from mostly Democratic congressmen who stated that they could not see any “imminent threat” in the evidence that the Administration produced during a classified briefing. The actual war powers concurrent resolution that passed in the House last Thursday was symptomatic of the unwillingness of the political opposition to take on the illegal and immoral wars in the Middle East themselves – it had no teeth and will not change anything.

The resolution’s subject line “Directing the President pursuant to section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution to terminate the use of United States Armed Forces to engage in hostilities in or against Iran” actually is misleading. And the first thing the text does do is slam Iran with the same dubious “facts” employed by Trump, including that “The Government of Iran is a leading state sponsor of terrorism and engages in a range of destabilizing activities across the Middle East. Iranian General Qassem Soleimani was the lead architect of much of Iran’s destabilizing activities throughout the world.”

The resolution includes “In matters of imminent armed attacks, the executive branch should indicate to Congress why military action was necessary within a certain window of opportunity, the possible harm that missing the window would cause, and why the action was likely to prevent future disastrous attacks against the United States.” It then goes on to explain that “When the United States uses military force, the American people and members of the United States Armed Forces deserve a credible explanation regarding such use of military force…” because “The War Powers Resolution (50 U.S.C. 1541 et seq.) requires the President to consult with Congress ‘in every possible instance’ before introducing United States Armed Forces into hostilities.” It concludes with “Congress has not authorized the President to use military force against Iran.”

It would seem to be a devastating critique of the Trump Art of War but then comes the wiggle room “…Congress hereby directs the President to terminate the use of United States Armed Forces to engage in hostilities in or against Iran or any part of its government or military, unless Congress has declared war or enacted specific statutory authorization for such use of the Armed Forces; or such use of the Armed Forces is necessary and appropriate to defend against an imminent armed attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its Armed Forces, consistent with the requirements of the War Powers Resolution. Nothing in this section may be construed to prevent the President from using military force against al Qaeda or associated forces…” In other words, all Trump has to do is claim “imminent threat” or that he is attacking “terrorist associated forces” and he is home free no matter what he does, particularly as the resolution itself is non-binding.

The sheer ignorance and arrogance of elites in Washington combined with a colonialist mentality that dismisses Asians and Africans as unthinking “wogs” who will do one’s bidding if they are confronted with punishment is currently on display. It was inevitable that Iraq would demand the departure of U.S. troops after thirty-four Iraqi militiamen were killed by American drone and air strikes, but many in Washington just didn’t get it. Trump threatened, in characteristic fashion, to respond with sanctions, but now Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi has made it official in a phone call to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, demanding a plan and timetable for the removal of the American soldiers. The State Department has indicated that it is not prepared to discuss the matter.

Some pundits who should know better have predicted that the withdrawal of U.S. soldiers will not take place because Iraq somehow “needs” the United States. And besides, there will be economic consequences if Iraq does go ahead to insist on an American withdrawal. But sometimes abstractions prove to be more powerful than material incentives. The United States violated Iraqi sovereignty not once but twice and murdered 34 Iraqis in the process. Pompeo can huff and puff all he wants and Trump can mouth his illiteracies, but nothing changes the fact that the United States did things it did not have to do based on a delusional view of the Middle East and will have to pay a price. Minus a presence in Iraq, Syria will be untenable and one might hope that once the U.S. loses its ability to directly confront Iran on the ground the whole house of cards just might collapse, leading to Washington’s gradual departure from the region. That would be good for the region and also for the United States even if Israel and the Saudis, who prefer to have Americans fight and die in their wars, might object.

Given that, so far, all attempts to hijack the Iranian regime have failed, I would tend to believe we are not very far from (or maybe squarely in) the stage called “US Sponsored Terrorism and Armed Insurrection” of the Brookings’ report “Which Path to Persia?”

…or it may lead to the Israel Lobby acting to start the war with Iran before it’s too late.

..that in turn will result in a debacle that will be eventually prove to be Israel’s death warrant.

Good — but there must be a more efficient and humane path to that laudable end.

Ali Velshi and Joy Reid actually provided context about Iran. They both invited Rula Jebreal and Iranian journalists on their shows. Also, Michael Moore called the US a “terrorist” on Velshi’s show (Friday).

Does Moore have the guts and funding to do a documentary about Iran/Israel/Saudi? I’m sure it’s crossed his mind, and I’m sure he is tuned in to the Palestinian plight.

Hearing actual context on corporate TV only amplified how much it has been missing, and how little we know about our appalling behavior toward Iran, from overthrowing their democratically elected leader in ‘53 to supplying Saddam with chemical weapons for burning Iranian civilians alive.

Too bad the darling over there, Rachel, is utterly useless. Complicit even. Point this out to a liberal and their head explodes.

If Hillary was President we would be at war by now. Trump’s inner sanctum of evil are actually too dumb and openly deprived to carry it off, and he also afraid of losing his base with an Iran war. He would absolutely invade in a second term when the pressure would be crushing.

It is vital to elect an anti war candidate above all else, and one who is not afraid to meet the neocons head on. From what I see, there is only one option.

    – No, we should all start with mass murdering Obama, who is given a free pass for atrocities vs. Trump’s removal of Soleimani.

    – BTW, the Iranian people are protesting big time against, that’s right, the Iranian government.

    – They too think the Iranian government is a serious problem.

  9. Most of Trump’s base is against war with Iran, and a few of them are very vocal. So it’s doubtful much will happen, which is good. Trump can sense he wouldn’t get enough of a rally around the flag effect.

Yeah Trump puffs a lot. That’s what he does. He puffs more than any salesmen has ever puffed before.

The link to the original report at that 2011 blog post no longer works (for me), but here is the PDF from Brookings of “Which Path to Persia?” (published June 2009 under the auspices of the Saban Center at the Brookings Institution; authors: Kenneth Pollack, Daniel Byman, Martin Indyk, Suzanne Maloney, Michael O’Hanlon, Bruce Riedel):

    https://www.brookings.edu/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/06_iran_strategy.pdf

Their chapter headings constitute an executive summary:

Part I: Dissuading Tehran: The Diplomatic Options
    – Chapter 1: An Offer Iran Shouldn’t Refuse: Persuasion
    – Chapter 2: Tempting Tehran: The Engagement Option

Part II: Disarming Tehran: The Military Options
    – Chapter 3: Going All the Way: Invasion
    – Chapter 4: The Osiraq Option: Airstrikes
    – Chapter 5: Leave it to Bibi: Allowing or Encouraging an Israeli Military Strike

Part III: Toppling Tehran: Regime Change
    – Chapter 6: The Velvet Revolution: Supporting a Popular Uprising
    – Chapter 7: Inspiring an Insurgency: Supporting Iranian Minority and Opposition Groups
    – Chapter 8: The Coup: Supporting a Military Move Against the Regime

    Part IV: Deterring Tehran: Containment
    – Chapter 9: Accepting the Unacceptable: Containment

    From the Conclusion:

None of the policy options toward Iran have a high likelihood of succeeding, even as their proponents would define success. None is likely to protect all of America’s national interests at low cost and with minimal risks. As should be apparent by this point, all of them are less than ideal solutions to the problems Iran poses. Indeed, one of the reasons that the Iran debate is so contentious and intractable is that there is no obviously right course of action. Instead, policymakers must choose the least bad from among a range of unpalatable alternatives.

It is not the purpose of this monograph to argue for one approach over another, in part because no course is unambiguously better than all of the rest.

They have to put in these kinds of disclaimers, but even raising the prospect of “regime change” bombing and/or invasion, as legitimate options, is a kind of delineation of the Overton Window.

In a few minutes’ scanning a tiny portion of this 2009 document, I notice they did not have a solid copy-editor on hand, as I find several small mistakes a professional would have cleaned up. Perhaps they only had a (possibly unpaid) intern or two look it over. Take that for whatever you think it’s worth. Some wouldn’t care at all; others might take the below as indicative of wider sloppiness of research or argument. (Remembering that this is a high-prestige, centerpiece publication.)

    (1) The report uses hyphens throughout to indicate ranges and other relationships instead of the standard short dash. Hyphens are what people use when writing quickly and informally, but this is a formal, published report; any serious publishing effort will have someone who knows the difference to clean these up.

    (2) This sentence: “Iran is an extremely complex society, with an opaque and Byzantine political system.” Capital-B? Really, Iran is an Anatolia-based empire that existed between the mid first millennium and 1453 AD? Fascinating. So not only are these mullahs very, very evil, but they have access to a time machine. (Ctrl-f finds ‘Byzantine’ four times, all capitalized.)

    (3) The table of contents (p.12) has a capitalization error, “And Opposition Groups” should be “and…” (careless; no copy-editor oversight)

A good article that shows the totalitarian aspect of US media propaganda. It’s the Zionist political line, claiming to speak for all Americans.

Similarly, the (now defunct), Soviet version also served an elite who falsely claimed to represent regular working people.

In both cases, the public adapt to their dictatorship – being careful about what they say in public, repeating the Party lies to avoid trouble. People know what they can and can’t say and which are the taboo subjects.

It may be relevant that the Soviet Union collapsed through economic inefficiency (impoverishing the public) and an unwillingness to use extreme Stalinist style repression. An Iran war would certainly impoverish further the US public, and it’s an open question whether the Zio-Glob would be ready to go full Stalinist on them.

  13. How many HATTs will it take, flown in under the cover of darkened nights, for the US military brass to say, “Enough is enough!”?

As long as they don’t have any dogs in this ‘fight’ [precious sons and daughters to be damaged forever, maimed for life and lost to eternity], the answer is, “The sky’s the limit.”

The Iraqi resistance will continue as long as US and other foreign troops remain n Iraqi soil. Trotting up and down behind humongous sandbags must become boring petty darn quickly… Am sure, irregular sniper fire will keep heads down as well.

HATT = Horizontal Aluminium, Transportation Tube

  14. If there can be two bottom lines , in my view they remain:

    1. “The United States violated Iraqi sovereignty not once but twice and murdered 30 Iraqis in the process.”

    and did so,

    2. against a case for which there is no evidence – the rational doe Iran to attack the US makes no sense. Doing so would ensure that the US presence would remain and worse, instigate hostilities. There simply does not appear to be any case.

I do not see Iran as some manner of benign player in the region — not at all. But we are the ones who made that possibility greater by invading. I think there s no getting a second bite at the apple of Iraq. As for Israel, I remember a CIA commentary about how Israel creates her own problems and then uses those problems to justify making more. Destabilizing the region guarantees that Israel will have active enemies. I am not sure what more can be done to assure Israel she not threatened by anyone. She has the full support of the US and Europe as guardians, should anyone violate her sovereignty.

Of course the issue what to do about Israeli violations of others is the hurdle.

Mr. Bannon’s words ring loud and clear on his departure from the WH. It would be nice to have a team that doesn’t get waylayed by rabbits across the sea– when the wolves are crossing the threshold willy nilly.

Sometimes a case can be made without evidence as long as the rationale makes sense. But case minus evidence and rational reason — tough sell.

Since 1940, the U.S. has been the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism. Israel comes close second. Like Israel, the U.S. is not a nation of civilised institutions, it is a terrorist organisation. In close eaxamination, the U.S. and Israel are the most barbaric terrorist organisation. The U.S. and Israel consider terrorism as the best way to terrorise, intemidate and invade nations that refuse their racist imperialist-Zionist ideology. The assassination of Iranian Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad Airport was a cowardly act of terrorism. General Soleimani was widely-acknowledged as the architect of the successful campaign to defeat the U.S.-Israel -sponsored terrorists (ISIS and al-Qaeda terrorists and their affiliates) in Syria and Iraq. In fact, the Israeli regime and ISIS terrorists celebrated and praised Soleimani’s murde as a “devine act”.r.

General Soleimani was carrying a diplomatic passport (with immunity) on his flight into Baghdad which is controlled by U.S. occupation forces, to attend the funeral of 31 Iraqi security forces killed by the U.S near the Syrian border. He was also on a Trump-encouraged peace mission with Saudi Arabia. Hence his travel plan is well known in advance, which makes his murder a barbaric and cowardly act of terrorism. There was no evidence that General Soleimani was planning or planned any violent act against the U.S. Indeed, U.S. Defence Secretary Mark Asper admitted that he did not see specific evidence from intelligence officials that Iran was planning to attack four U.S. embassies.

It is now revealed that, prior to Soleimani’s assassination, Trump threatened to kill the Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi if he does not cancel a deal with China to repair Iraq’s electric grid and other vital infrastructures that have been deliberately destroyed by U.S. terror. The U.S. regime tried every trick to keep China out of Iraq, unless the Iraqi PM would guarantee that 50% of Iraq’s oil revenue would go to the U.S. (Renee Parsons, The Greenville post). As Iraqi Prime Minster Abdul Mahdi explained. Essentially, the U.S. is carrying out economic blackmail in order to pursue its interests and is keeping Iraq’s economy hostage. The extortionist Trump has reiterated that if Iraqis insist on ending the murderous US occupation that caused the death of over 2 million innocent Iraqi civilians, they will first have to “payback” the cost of the murderous invasion and occupation of their country, “otherwise we’ll stay there”. It is as if Adolf Hitler asking the Jews to pay for the “Nazi Holocaust”.

Roosevelt was provided millions of dollars to pay off demonstrators and organize the “opposition”, which included communists, Islamic clerics and media sources.

It is similar to how ZUS does coups all over the world. The same old.

It is odd that Nuland’s Ukraine has been involved in three big “hot world events” recently.

    2014 – plane downing in Ukraine. MH-17

    2019- Impeachment for Trump

    2020- plane downing in Iran-PS-752

Something is very fishy about this. The “protesters” in Iran should be wondering why Nuland’s Ukraine is involved in this. Was there something in that plane that was like a magnet to attract a missile? Nuland’s Ukraine is a Zio-land. Deception is the way Zion wages war. This all seems to be a Zion deception game again. The protesters should be aware of this.

Look who partly owns Ukrainian International airlines.
Igor Kolomoisky, who is involved in all three of these big events.
How could that possible be? Deception is the way we wage war is the only possible answer.

    https://www.globalresearch.ca/iran-accidental-downing-ukrainian-plane-used-smear-mh-17-skeptics/5700281

Oddly enough, Ukrainian International Airlines is partly owned by the infamous Ukrainian-Israeli oligarch, politician and energy tycoon Igor Kolomoisky, who was notably one of the biggest financiers of the anti-Russian, pro-EU coup d’etat which overthrew the democratically elected government of Viktor Yanukovych in 2014. Kolomoisky is also a principal backer of current Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky whose dubious phone call with Trump resulted in the 45th U.S. president’s impeachment last month. In another astounding coincidence, Kolomoisky’s Privat Group is believed to control Burisma Holdings, the Cypress-based company whose executive board 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden’s son Hunter was appointed to following the Maidan junta. The former Vice President admitted that he bribed Ukraine into firing its top prosecutor who was looking into his son’s corruption by threatening to withhold $1 billion in loan guarantees.

N.B. yesterday’s agenda, Mideast bookended by UN Charter compliance. The UNSC has been huddling since the day of the murder. When you have treaty bodies, charter bodies, and special procedures converging on an issue (like, say, the bombing of neutral Cambodia,) the US is going to need to throw a virgin into the volcano (like, say, Nixon) to propitiate the MAD gods.

So Soleimani’s murder may cause other heads to roll – probably Pompeo’s! He’s a Petraeus-type hood ornament and very disposable. His destruction would further weaken State without undue blowback for the CIA ventriloquists who put him up to it.

  47. Sean says:

Iran’s population and terrain mean it could not be invaded as Iraq was. America has never made a single strike on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the killing of Iranians in other countries seems to be aimed at preventing the US forces from being driven out of Iraq ect.

I would not be surprised if the main reason the army wants to stay in Syria, Iraq and especially Afghanistan is so they could tell the President that they have to finish those conflicts before starting a war with Iran, which is one they really don’t want to fight.

  48. Not a word from agent Giraldi about the Boeing. The Syrian shoot down of the Russian plane? The Iranians fear Raytheon just as much as the US taxpayers. If Trump or Ivanka had simply been forced to pay out of pocket for the 59 Tomahawk missiles that were shot into Syria it’s possible the Iranians wouldn’t have been so emotional with their air defenses after the assassination.

  49. Is there a limit to the evil perpetuated by our country? The purported leading sponsor of terrorism, Iran, owned up to the downing of the Ukrainian plane within days after an initial denial. We took 8 years (1996) to finally compensate families, still insisting that the Iranian passenger plane was shot down in self-defense. George W. Bush’s axis of evil (Iran, yes Iran and North Korea) pales compared to our own, comprising the world’s most powerful, nuclearized and militarized nations, with Israel at the helm. We are now the secular Jehovah, Yahweh and Allah rolled into one. Surrender or face eternal damnation.

The USA has implicitly extended its nuclear umbrella to Saudis, Israeli retaliation = USA itself

Chinese may support harsher sanctions v. Iran iff USA support agrees to increase energy supplies to China.

By Christine Parthemore and James Miller
    https://www.cnas.org/publications/reports/the-case-for-game-changing-diplomacy-with-iran

actually intended as recommendations for whomever the next president would be.

Dennis Ross played the major role in the paper’s proposals; many of the same “thought leaders” featured in the Brookings paper that Hail linked (thanks, Hail) contributed to the 2008 scheme.
(Recall that Parthemore had been suggested for Pres. Hillary Clinton’s Sec of State or Sec Defense.)
And scheme it was, pure Dennis Ross: ‘make Iran an offer they cannot but refuse, then damn Iran when Iran refuses.’

Ten years on and Iran continues to frustrate the mad fantasies of the “thought leaders.”

Ilan Goldenberg is now at CNAS — among the “thought leaders”. He appeared on C Span Washington Journal a few days ago to share his leading thoughts on Iran.
    https://www.c-span.org/video/?467915-3/washington-journal-ilan-goldenberg-discusses-us-iran-tensions&playEvent

followed by Michael Rubin of AEI

(Goldenberg fudged –i.e. lied– when a listener asked if CNAS was funded by Soros, but a subsequent C Span caller nailed him: Soros is a major funder of CNAS.)

This CNAS page includes an audio od Mark Goldberg’s interview of Ilan Goldenberg

The Trump administration made already clear that this won’t happen…

If the Iraqi resistance can have the fortitude and the moral strength to go all VC on foreign, occupying troops, it will eventually happen.

Can’t stomach too many of these:

  61. Anon[223] • Disclaimer says:

It’s quite apparent there won’t be a war now.

Iran ‘was’ a potential war catalyst. Because its weapons were so hopelessly compromised.

It looks like at least four players certainly or probably had control of it’s weapons platforms. London probably did as well. And London is the United States’ biggest enemy.

But now the key players can’t use that vulnerability to false flag the other 2 into a conflict they can remain disengaged from.

That’s been the plan for decades. Now it’s not possible.

That means war is not viable.

Sheldon Adelson and Rothschild can’t push for a war that will force Israel to fight, and not just the United States. Nor can the City of London Corporation.

Look at Netanyahu already trying to distance himself. They are reduced to calling themselves the victims.

Trump, by his usual weird luck, or is it luck? Has defused a bomb by throwing a grenade on it.

No one can false flag Iran now without involving Israel.

So Trump has achieved peace in the Middle East, in the most important latent conflict zone. Small scale conflict will never subside.

But note the Dems are now an anti war party as well. So the bipartisan war consensus is broken. They might conspire with another false flag, but this time it will be much harder for them given their electorate.

Jews whether international or Zionist now cannot force a full scale war that doesn’t consume Jerusalem.

Remember there are around 3 million Iranians in the US. What Jews might do is the trick they always do and pretend to be Muslim and run domestic false flags in the US. But if they do that, it risks unknown consequences.

The IDF is in poor shape. They won’t fight their own war. They can’t. They’re an occupation force now, with state of the art intelligence but a degraded and low combat value kinetic force.

And now Iran may fall into the US sphere. Why would they align with Russia who betrayed them for Georgia?

The US is not as Zog as you might believe.

Maybe Jews aren’t as smart as they thought.

Zionist Supremacists make up probably about 90-95% of the largest donors to the demshevik and repuke parties. Israel has nukes and has even threatened to take out European cities if Israel is threatened via the Samson Option. Iran has no nuclear weapons and has not initiated an attack against another country in centuries, but Israel attacked the USS Liberty in an unprovoked attack looking to blame the attack on Egypt. It was Israel and not Iran who bombed American and British installations in the Lavon Affair, once again looking to blame the bombings on Egypt, only this time Israel was caught red handed. Israel’s fingerprints are all over 911 along with their Saudi buddies.

Yep, there is a country in the Middle East who is a threat to the West, and it starts with I, but it isn’t Iraq nor is it Iran. Neither Iraq or Iran are looking to destabilize the Middle East and expand their country’s borders but Israel is and that is what they currently have in the works. Israel and Zionist Supremacist all over the diaspora are plotting land grabs and sending biological weapons of mass destruction aka Arab and African refugees into Europe and North America to rape, pillage and breed out the indigenous White populations. Not to mention that these same Zionist Supremacists have been promoting anti-White agendas in OUR countries for nearly a century and counting.

Sending gullible White goyim to fight and die for the sole purpose of expanding Israel’s borders and power in the Middle East and then having those same gullible White goyim take in refugees created by those wars for Israel is mind boggling to say the least. And of course the Arabs coming to Europe and North America surely don’t have love in their heart for the people who bombed their countries, nor do many of them respect or wish to assimilate into Western Culture. Notice that none of these war refugees are placed in Israel and that Israel has made it clear that they won’t except Africans to their largely homogeneous ethnic state as well. Are Iranian professors disproportionately represented in our colleges and universities and do they almost always push a rabid and hate-filled anti-White agenda to their students. Have Iranians or Iraqi Americans been at the forefront of pushing race mixing and integrating our schools, homosexual marriage, unisex restrooms, feminism, pornography, promoting drug and alcohol abuse through their movies, etc., etc. Is George Soros of Iranian descent? You have no idea what just happened evidently.

The United States is not going to be going to war against Iran, in any Trump term. Not this term, or the second term, or the third term.

Iran is a friend of the United States now.

Israel’s policy position is now that it wants peace, and a cessation of United States involvement in the Middle-East and in it’s domestic affairs.

Israel have demanded that the United States cease what they regard as interference with their domestic affairs and foreign policy.

Nancy Pelosi said, one way or another, Trump will not be president by the end of this year. That’s quite a sinister turn of phrase, and particularly in that it seems to presage the pursuance of war with Iran against the wishes of Israel. Never mind the safety of the person of the President.

Netanyahu kindly sent the President a photo of John F Kennedy in his recent pamphlet outlining the contours of the special relationship. Which is kind to the President, who doesn’t have JFK’s youthful visage.

The United States will no doubt respect the wishes of it’s ally and friend.

Tulsi should join her colleagues who are joining the Republican party.

Initiative, talent external to identity, and honesty won’t enable survival in a party that is determined to execute a coup against a sitting President & subjugate the American people via domestic subversion and alliance with America’s enemies foreign and domestic. It’s quite difficult to simply keep track of the treason and various collusions. But Bernie Sanders’ time in the Soviet Union per the latest intel looks like it was salient.

I wonder what Ms Gabbard would do if she were ordered to infringe upon the second amendment rights of patriotic Virginians as she is a member of the National Guard. Would she uphold her oath to the Constitution? Or would she participate in the disarming of American citizens on the basis of unconstitutional local law?

Tulsi should join the Republican party. She’d probably have a bright, and swift future which will be unavailable to her in the Democrat party.

If the President never receives credit for his accomplishments due to dearths of comprehension innate and affected, or spite, that is just the price of bearing the weight of office. Particularly at this juncture in American history, as we embark on a new era of the total restoration of western civilization in North America and continental Europe and the Mediterranean.

It’s illuminating that so many, so very many self-proclaimed and self-assured people have no understanding of anything that is going on around them, except for the instigators themselves.

Niall Ferguson of course virtue-signals as he must to keep his sinecure at Stanford, but below the decoration of the maintenance of his liberal bona-fides he is eshewing more and more by the day he has the germ of an idea. Andrew Jackson of course would be forcibly given estrogen injections today by the Democrats, but once he was a United States President with a set of principles about how a United States government should hold a relationship with it’s people and the world.

There won’t be war with Iran, unless Israel leads the vanguard, and the Democrats force it upon the American people against the wishes of the American people. And at their peril too, at the displeasure of the United States’ Iranian population the Obama administration armed.

Why doesn’t Tulsi explain what the Saudi’s were actually doing vis a vis various, ‘trades’ and who the Saudis are now. She seems to talk a lot about the Saudis. Who were they, what were they doing, with what members of the DNC, and what are they doing now, or not doing now.

America’s business now is to complete the War of Independence which never ended with our good friends in London and the Commonwealth and the Cold War which merely switched continents to our doorstep.

In Iran, which is an extremely (I underscore it) young nation, this has special significance–too many freeloaders who listen to rap, emulate West based on TV pictures and who want what many modern youth want–channel their hormones into something “fun”, like “revolution”. When they will begin to be killed en-masse as a result of this “revolution”, this is totally another matter, they do not know it yet. If they succeed, they will and then they will start leaving (if they survive and have means left) the fruits of their desires. Very simple. I, however, when using term “Iranian people” would add a clarification “some” Iranian People. After all, there was a crowd of several million at Soleimani’s funeral at Tehran. So, which Iranian people?

A great deal of STUPID WHITES would more than likely protest and demand Dr. David Duke not even be allowed to run for POTUS. Pretty bad when Whites look to someone like Trump as the man who will save America. Whites have learned to accept table scraps like Trump who throws them a bone every now and then. Trump, like every other politician, is afraid to even mention what he will do or has done for Whites, but has no problem sucking up to other groups by pointing out what he has done for Jews, African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans. Trump and the demshevik candidates are both Israel Firsters, and Trump pretends to be less anti-White. Neither choice benefits White America.

At the time I believed the Al Qaida story. Now I know that Al Qaida is the CIA creation. Sapienti sat.

The Arabic-to-English translation of ‘Al-Queda’ is ‘The Database’ as the members of the Afghan Mujahideed fighting against the Russians in the Soviet-Afghan War had their details kept on a computer database of the CIA.

I do think that if some form of conflagration with Iran does play out, most Americans and British will be on board with it, even if it is reluctantly. What happens is that politicians create associations in the minds of the masses in an almost Pavolovian fashion. They mention the name of a country in relation to bad things and an association is formed.

For example, W. Bush kept association Hussein and Iraq with 9/11. Major news sources reported his speeches without applying scrutiny and analysis, because had they done so, the public would have been made aware that there is no intelligence linking Iraq to 9/11. None of the hijackers were Iraqi.

69% of Americans believed that Hussein had a role in 9/11 when polled by the Washington Post

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/politics/2003/09/06/hussein-link-to-911-lingers-in-many-minds/7cd31079-21d1-42cf-8651-b67e93350fde/

Hussein Link to 9/11 Lingers in Many Minds

Sixty-nine percent of Americans said they thought it at least likely that Hussein was involved in the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, according to the latest Washington Post poll. That impression, which exists despite the fact that the hijackers were mostly Saudi nationals acting for al Qaeda, is broadly shared by Democrats, Republicans and independents.

The main reason for the endurance of the apparently groundless belief, experts in public opinion say, is a deep and enduring distrust of Hussein that makes him a likely suspect in anything related to Middle East violence. “It’s very easy to picture Saddam as a demon,” said John Mueller, a political scientist at Ohio State University and an expert on public opinion and war. “You get a general fuzz going around: People know they don’t like al Qaeda, they are horrified by September 11th, they know this guy is a bad guy, and it’s not hard to put those things together.”

Then, in declaring the end of major combat in Iraq on May 1, Bush linked Iraq and the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks: “The battle of Iraq is one victory in a war on terror that began on September the 11, 2001 — and still goes on. That terrible morning, 19 evil men — the shock troops of a hateful ideology — gave America and the civilized world a glimpse of their ambitions.”

Moments later, Bush added: “The liberation of Iraq is a crucial advance in the campaign against terror. We’ve removed an ally of al Qaeda, and cut off a source of terrorist funding. And this much is certain: No terrorist network will gain weapons of mass destruction from the Iraqi regime, because the regime is no more. In these 19 months that changed the world, our actions have been focused and deliberate and proportionate to the offense. We have not forgotten the victims of September the 11th — the last phone calls, the cold murder of children, the searches in the rubble. With those attacks, the terrorists and their supporters declared war on the United States. And war is what they got.”

A number of nongovernment officials close to the Bush administration have made the link more directly. Richard N. Perle, who until recently was chairman of the Pentagon’s Defense Policy Board, long argued that there was Iraqi involvement, calling the evidence “overwhelming.”

In follow-up interviews, poll respondents were generally unsure why they believed Hussein was behind the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, often describing it as an instinct that came from news reports and their long-standing views of Hussein. For example, Peter Bankers, 59, a New York film publicist, figures his belief that Hussein was behind the attacks “has probably been fed to me in some PR way,” but he doesn’t know how. “I think that the whole group of people, those with anti-American feelings, they all kind of cooperated with each other,” he said.

Similarly, Kim Morrison, 32, a teacher from Plymouth, Ind., described her belief in Hussein’s guilt as a “gut feeling” shaped by television. “From what we’ve heard from the media, it seems like what they feel is that Saddam and the whole al Qaeda thing are connected,” she said.

You can see this happening to this day, the mainstream media has failed to scrutinise Trump and his lies regarding Iran, such as claiming that Iran is the ‘Number One exporter of terrorism around the world’, ‘terror’ in this sense refers to Iranian proxies who may or may not have killed invading coalition troops during the West’s Middle East adventures, however most in the West associate ‘terror’ with things like Paris attacks or those truck rammings elsewhere in Europe. But since the public are not very discerning and the Iranian leadership wears those headpieces that make them look like Hollywood terrorists, most do not notice the lies. Even the opposition didn’t call out the lies! They were just annoyed that they didn’t get to pull the trigger themselves

This is the result of decades of mass media and entertainment on the mind of the Western individual, they simply see everything as a Hollywood film where there is a clear demarcation between the good guys and bad guys and the hero always wins.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the public, they will be cheering on thsi war for jingoistic reaons.

  124. Actions of the two bullies, Trump and Pimpeo, are from their own inner fears! They both along with the rest of the Congress are fearful of powerful Russia and Putin! The bullies don’t dare to face another powerful country like Russia directly thus the reason for Trump being soft on Russia and friendly towards Putin. There’s no harm or high risks for bullying smaller and powerless countries with NO nuclear arsenals such as Iran. These chicken shits are even fearful of NK with its nuclear arsenals let alone the very powerful countries like Russia or China! As a bully the US is picking on the powerless states in the ME because it also has a couple of additional incentives in that region:
    1. Protecting Oil, oil and oil and petro currency based on $$
    2. Protecting the “shitty little state”, money and politics

This trend will not end until a person or a country will scream out loud that “enough is enough”

By the way, the birther movement was mostly instigated by Jews who were very angry about Obama not going hard on Iran at the behalf of Israel.

    Almost.
The “birther movement” started with Phillip Berg, a Democrat and former Assistant Attorney General of Pennsylvania. He was a Hillary supporter, and yes, a Jew. He filed a motion in court, prior to the primaries, to have Obama disqualified because Obama was not a “natural born citizen” as contemplated by the US Constitution. The court refused to hear the case, claiming he had no standing.
There were other suits filed alleging the same as Berg. All were dismissed.
The “birther” as in birth certificate narrative was cooked up to take the attention away from the “natural born citizen” piece. There were several legal opinions from law schools that stated neither McCain nor Obama met the test for “natural born citizen” and 4 years later, a few questioning Romney’s eligibility as a “natural born citizen.”
The birth certificate “birther” narrative had done its job by distracting from the real issue, according to Obama’s own narrative of having a Kenyan father.

It is highly likely that the “contractor” killed in the “rocket” attack near Kirkuk was a false flag. While attributed to a Shi’ite militia group, none of them took responsibility. The fact that ISIS groups were in the region and have launched attacks was never considered. Why? Because they won’t bite the hand that feeds them. Israel would have no problem getting their hands on Katyushas.

There appears to be some fuzziness in the presentation.

From his inauguration through today, President Trump had approved at least 36 drone strikes or raids in 45 days — one every 1.25 days.

“In 45 days” is not the same as “every 45 days”
How many drone strikes Obama ordered from his inauguration to the same number of days Trump has been in office would be the real comparison. If Obama launched one strike in October and five in November, that would be an increase of 500%. Apples to apples please. Inquiring minds want to know who is the better murderer.

Sadly, that slogan illustrates the unsavoury (pardon the pun) nature of the political systems claiming to be democratic when in fact democracy (rule of the people, by the people, for the people) is unattainable, particularly in representative systems subordinated to the rule of money. All it does is to promote and entrench a political class subservient to its sponsors. Tweedledee Tweedledum is the the “American” version.

Yes the Republican’s sound better and are better around the edges, but ultimately they carry out Zion’s agenda so what’s the point?

The Central Bankers are satanic and anti-Christ. They’re anti-humanity and especially hate white Christians who they’re actively dispossessing. The problem is that most of us are unaware of who our enemy is. With a slight awakening occurring, they counter with anti-semitism and anti-zionism laws, curtailing free speech and the discussion of those who are committing treason and heinous crimes against humanity. This is the game (happening here, France and all over). Trump is a puppet like all the rest. He’ll give you 10% red meat to gnaw on, while stabbing you in the back the other 90%. The propaganda machine (media) does its best to hide this through all the drama and bread and circus. Unfortunately most do not have discernment so they continue on the treadmill of left vs right.

As George Carlin said “the game is rigged”. We need to awaken the public, patriots and those within the military to shut down and arrest members of the Fed. That’s step 1. Step 2 is rinse and repeat with the media (MSM).

Clinton wasn’t supposed to win the 2016 election; the evil orange clown was supposed to win. Why? Because the jews needed an evil, mentally unhinged, militant zionist extremist like orange clown in the white house, not a political opportunist like Clinton.

Yes, Clinton’s evil, and she’s willing to do mass-murder, but jut like her fellow career politician Obama, she has limits, and she’s not going to risk WW3 for the sake of the jewish-supremacist agenda.

Clinton’s job in the 2016 election scam was to present herself as an unelectable caricature of herself – threatening WW3 – while the evil orange clown presented himself as a somewhat more reasonable person; an alternative to nuclear war and the end of the world as we know it.

So while orange clown was mouthing his disingenuous “why can’t we all just get along” BS and Clinton was threatening planetary extinction, Obama attacked the Syrian Army at Deir Ezzor, dramatically increasing tensions with Russia and giving the voters (especially disgruntled Sanders supporters) a little taste of what a Clinton administration would be like (i.e. looming war with Russia).

And the ruse apparently worked, as it was the votes of about 10% of Sanders supporters who gave orange clown a narrow win in three key states which put him in the white house.

The elders didn’t want Clinton in the white house, they wanted the evil orange clown.

    Brother Nathanael for President!

    A Presidential Platform For 2020:

Every president needs a platform to inspire and motivate.

I’ve got five planks that will redo America into an edifice of strength.

    1. Free Speech
Break up Google and make YouTube a public utility.
This way its gatekeepers—Susan Wojcicki, CEO of YouTube, Jonathan Greenblatt of the ADL, and Heidi Beirich of the SPLC—are neutered in their Jewish complicity to kill free speech.
You see, telephone companies don’t deny usage based on personal views.
Let’s do the same with Google and YouTube.
Break up Google into independent Search Engines, and divide YouTube into independent categories, all for starters.

    2. Gun Rights
Reaffirm to the counties—and I emphasize “counties”—their Constitutional right to “nullify” gun control laws.
Every firearm the government owns must also be possessed by individuals and militias in every county.
Counties already have the power to tax in many areas, and sheriffs have the right to mobilize militias—the “Posse Comitatus”—as conservators of peace.
Affirm also their power to defy unconstitutional gun confiscators—like Schumer, like Bloomberg, like Blumenthal—and a rebirth of the defense of the family blossoms anew.

    3. Immigration
Repeal the “Open Immigration Law Of 1965″ which discarded quotas and qualifications of émigrés from Third World countries.
The “American Jewish Committee” was the culprit with its front man, Senator Jacob Javits, so as to eviscerate America’s Christian consensus.
We must again restrict immigration from the Third World to small numbers of professionals only, where only their immediate families can have permanent residence.

    4. Monetary Reform
We must “End The Fed”—a private consortium of Jewish banks—and establish “freedom of money.”
This means we’re no longer forced to use a certain kind of money issued by a criminal entity and administered by an irresponsible government puppeteered by Jewish Wall Street.
Local banks must divorce themselves from this central control and issue their own currency backed by commodities of their own choice.
This way money is no longer “stolen into existence” by Jewish bankers, but money “emerges into action” that represents goods and labor.
Good money will drive out bad money, that’s the key.

    5. Foreign Policy
Either Trump is a liar or he’s not commander-in-chief.
Yet despite Trump’s promises, US troop numbers in the Middle East keep on climbing, ensnared in a volatile plight of Trump’s own doing.
We need to cut our losses, close the military bases, and let the people there settle their own differences.
Is it our problem that the Jews plopped themselves down in the middle of the Muslim World?
I mean, after some seventy five years why can’t Israel make peace with their neighbors?
Or is it always someone else’s fault when it comes to the Jews?
And we need to be dragged into their endless hostilities?
Bring our boys home, it’s not our problem.
Then we register the Jewish Lobbies as agents of a foreign nation.
If they get out of line we hang them for treason.
“Make America Sane Again!” is my slogan.
But Jewry—a bunch of neurotics with most of them on Prozac—should not be running our country into the ground.
For with these five planks as a “Presidential Platform for 2020″ a new vision for America comes logically and profoundly into view.

The POC self-identification is furthermore a rallying cry to persecute innocent whites, or at a minimum extort yet more unmerited privilege bases solely on the color of one’s skin. The essential Progressivist principle that groups and not individual citizens have rights throws out a thousand years progress in human rights, so go to Africa or South America if you want society based on the political power of tribes and the like. 171. @Crazy Horse

There are basically two possibilities here which would explain the 2016 election: a “shit happens” theory or a conspiracy theory.

The problem with the “shit happens” theory is that as you start adding up the ostensible “coincidences” (e.g., Trump’s own pollsters claim Sanders would’ve beat Trump in the general election but the democrats end up running Clinton rather than Sanders; FBI releases “bombshell” information about its investigation of Clinton just eleven days before the election; etc.), you end up with a collectively preposterous cohencidence theory.

On the other hand, my “conspiracy theory” – the result of observation and common sense reasoning based on generally accepted facts – provides a plausible explanation of the 2016 election. So it’s a case of the plausible vs the preposterous. If this isn’t enough, what kind of “actual proof” would you need to see, a signed and notarized confession?

Trump was merely supposed to be their “Pied Piper Candidate” according to the Podesta emails which have never been disputed. Bernie was supposed to act as her sheep dog candidate which is why they rigged the Primary in her favor. This seems to have been the DNC’s strategy again according to the DNC emails released known as the “DNC Leak”. Again which have never been disputed but falsely claimed that Boris and Natasha were directly involved in purloining them.

No Clinton and the PTB fully expected her to win despite all the baggage you’ve mentioned because they figured that Trump would be so odious that nobody would vote for his sorry lying ass, but it seems they were wrong because they didn’t understand how much the voters hated her and that the vote was actually a vote against her more than a vote for the carrot topped barbarian.

  196. @Crazy Horse

I must vehemently disagree with you.

    First:

In Sept. 2016, with only a few months left in his term, Obama attacked the Syrian army at Deir Ezzor, which drastically elevated tensions with Russia.

In response to Obama’s attack (which apparently killed both Syrian and Russian personnel) the Russian military retaliated with a cruise missile attack against a “secret” CIA base somewhere in Aleppo province. Russia also announced at the time that any U.S. planes threatening its personnel would be “targeted.” Pundits like Paul Craig Roberts were then warning of a greatly increased risk of war with Russia and Alex Jones et al. were uploading nuclear fallout maps on youtube.

Why did lame duck Obama do this, and why did he choose to do it just as the 2016 election was coming into the home stretch? Because “shit happens”? I think not.

You’ll agree with me that some of Sanders’ supporters were of an anti-war sentiment (at least when it came to the prospect of nuclear war with Russia), right? And you’ll agree with me that the one issue common to both Sanders’ and Trump’s platforms was the avoidance of war with Russia, right? So it makes sense that in a tight election some Sanders supporters might be nudged to hold their nose and vote for Trump just to prevent WW3, right?

In light of this, there is really only one answer that makes sense as to why Obama did what he did when he did it: It was a scare tactic intended to nudge some Sanders supporters into Trump’s camp. It was a psyop that hearkened back to the famous scare tactic that Johnson used to great effect in the 1964 campaign against Goldwater (the “daisy girl” ad).

And the fact is that it was the critically important votes of Sanders supporters in three key states that put Trump in the white house. Trump’s winning margin in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania was LESS THAN the number of Sanders supporters who voted for him in these states.

Surely Obama and his handlers knew that escalating tensions with Russia at that time would undermine Clinton’s electoral prospects; just like Comey knew that his letter to Congress coming eleven days before the election (apparently in violation of DOJ rules) would do the same.

What happened here was obviously calculatingly done to help Trump. No other explanation makes sense in light of the circumstances. If you’re to convince me otherwise you’ll have to propound some kind of compelling argument; hand-waving and dismissive rhetoric won’t suffice.

    Second:

Yes, just like Obama, Clinton is a warmonger – but within limits; just like Obama.
Just like Obama, Clinton got into politics a long time ago for her own benefit; just like Obama, she didn’t do it to become a suicide bomber for the jewish-supremacist cause.

(Moreover, there’s evidence that Clinton doesn’t really like jews, and jews don’t really like her).

    https://www.haaretz.com/opinion/hillary-clinton-is-no-friend-of-israel-1.5418613

So the situation in 2016 was this: The jewish-supremacist agenda in the Mideast had become stalled under Obama. With a rising Russia and China and with Russia now militarily involved in Syria, it was clear that any further advancement of the agenda would only come at much greater risk.

And to deal with this risk, the elders needed a hard-core-militant-zionist-extremist like Trump – someone evil enough and mentally unhinged enough to accept personal responsibility for giving orders which could result in WW3.

The elders did not want career politician Clinton in the white house, they wanted and they got evil ideologue Trump.

Let’s not do sweeping generalization in regards to US officers–there are still many good leaders and courageous people among them. But Soleimani, certainly, was one of a kind, as he asked himself to have simply “a soldier” carved at his gravestone. I respect that. US has created a martyr and now she will have to deal with people who would have, probably, Soleimani’s photo in their uniform pockets. Eventually, they will stare down both US and, especially, Israeli forces. This is how one loses (yet another) war–not that Pompeo will know anything about it, not to mention DJT.

Jean “doubled down” & exposed the true Trump/Netanyahu relationship…

Speaking of exposing things, Chuck, Adam Green in his previous livestream presented a little booklet, The Life of an American Jew in Racist Marxist Israel, written in 1985 by Jack Bernstein.

Although it only 50 pages long, it nevertheless packs quite a punch, as you can easily infer just by reading this Amazon Description:

Unlike most American Jews, whose support for Israel is limited to words and money, Jack Bernstein actually “returned” to the “Jewish homeland” not as a tourist, or for a summer visit but to live and die in Israel as a committed builder of the Jewish nation. As he explains here in this punchy and persuasive booklet, his idealism soon turned to disillusionment. He takes the reader on a guided tour of Israel s history, institutions and values. He exposes Israel s sham and hypocrisy, revealing its oppressive, racist, militaristic, and parasitic character.

Bernstein speaks above all to the deceived and misguided American people, whose money, toil and blood sustain the Zionist state. As long as the US continues to support Israel, he prophetically warns, there will be no end to war in the Middle East, strife between Jews and non-Jews, and the brutal oppression of Palestinians.

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/0939482010/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_5a6hEb6BGGKAH

Jack has a serious warning to the American people (which is highlighted in these most pertinent excerpts). I think it behooves them to heed it:

Most Jews are atheists or they follow humanism which is anti-God religion…

Israel is one leg of the New York/Moscow/Tel Aviv Triangle which is behind the communist movement…

Tens of millions of people have been killed since the Zionist/Bolshevik Jews, backed by the Zionist Oriented Jewish International Bankers, took over Russia…

The question arises: How many Arabs will they kill when the Zionist/Bolsheviks gain control over the Mideast and when they gain physical control over America? They already have control of nearly every phase of American life. If the Zionists ever succeed in imposing gun control on the American people, there will be nothing to stop them from complete take over America

    Exposure is the Solution
In 1920 Henry Ford, Sr. wrote, “If the American people ever become aware of the truth about this coterie of Jews, it would be the solution”. What Henry Ford meant was: If the American people ever learned the truth, they would take whatever action necessary to stop this bunch of Zionist/Bolshevik Jews.

Many individuals and groups are in the process of trying to inform the American people about the danger they present to America and to the free world nations, but it is still far too little to be effective. It would be in the interest of nearly every person who is aware, to quietly but energetically help to spread the information to others…

Since each and everyone of these nationalities are fighting the same destructive enemy—the Zionist/Bolshevik (communist/socialist) Jews, it would be more effective if all joined hands in a cooperative effort.

I might add that leading the fight against the Zionist Jews should be the pro-American Jews, like myself, who love America and realize the destruction the New York/Moscow/Tel Aviv has brought to the world…

I find most Americans willfully ignorant of their nation, its history, its crimes, and who controls it.

Sure they are drinking the Kool-Aid.

  214. @Anon

No not at all; somehow you’ve misunderstood me.

The elders wanted their agent Trump in the white house, not Clinton, but when the polls got dangerously close, i.e. when Trump’s victory wasn’t guaranteed, Obama was ordered to create a foreign policy crisis with Russia which apparently convinced some Sanders supporters to vote for Trump rather than stay home or vote for Jill Stein.

IOW, Obama’s manufactured crisis with Russia was intended to show the voters what the bellicose foreign policy of a Clinton administration would be like, thus encouraging them to vote for Trump – who was promising cooperation with Russia (but intending the opposite).

We can agree to disagree. Personally I was working on the Sanders campaign and I can tell you that although they were antiwar and many also were antiHillary they for the most part weren’t aware of Obama’s geopolitical actions.

With recent protests about plane crash subsiding I have to write a few lines, some may not like my conclusion, but that’s what I see as an observer since more than 10 yrs ago:
number of people who attended these protests were hundreds not even 10s of thousands.

The social class of this week’s protestors were mostly upper middle class, university students. I have told a friend or 2 that the are from the same classes who attended 2009 post-election protests in large number. I call them political protesters. They usually live in Tehran.

These 👆protesters are totally different from those who participated in winter 2018 and November 2019 demos which were nationwide (small cities) or on the suburbs of big cities while Tehranis stayed away from them. I call them economic protesters.

Another point is: while you may see many of those economic protesters going to flood or quake stricken regions in volunteer groups along with Basiji or seminary students, you never track political protesters, celebrities, tv personalities helping affected locals.

It could explain why such protests are never taken serious by ordinary people (though security forces take them very serious!

His Iran policy has been a disaster and unquestionably the dumbest thing he has done. It has all backfired on him and pushed him into a corner. The sanctions have not worked and the Iranians show no sign to come to the proverbial negotiating table. I am beginning to think that he ordered the assassination of the Iranian general out of sheer frustration. That also was a very stupid move on his part. He must have thought that the Iranians would do nothing. They both surprised and humiliated him.

America had to absorb the Iranian attack without retaliating because the Pentagon knew its air and naval assets alone could not defeat Iran. It would lose most of them in a war with Iran. In fact, there is no possibility of defeating Iran, unless one wants to use nuclear weapons. America, as a consequence, has suffered a military humiliation of incalculable magnitude. The ramifications of this humiliation will not be lost on anyone in that region of the world as well as the rest of the world. America by her failure to respond to the Iranian attack will be viewed as an unreliable ally. Her credibility is shot to hell.

Not only that. Since America has shown that it cannot deter the Iranians, the Iranians can now proceed unhindered to develop a nuclear weapon. And there is nothing America can do about it, in spite of blabbermouth Trump saying he will not allow Iran to have nuclear weapons. He has no way of stopping that unless , as said previously, he uses nuclear weapons. If he is stupid enough to do that, America would be placed in the nuclear crosshairs of a nuclear power.

Experimental evidence shows that the only way to prevent an attack by bandits is to have your own nukes. NK is a good example: bandits sent several aircraft carriers in its direction, lost two planes in the process, issued a lot of huffing and puffing, hot air, and backed off in the end.

So, Iran would be wise to acquire nukes and make sure nobody doubts that they have them. That would give pause even to lesser and even more shameless bandits, like Israel and KSA.

Frankly, compared to the US, Israel, or KSA, China is an angel, a paragon of exemplary international behavior. In contrast to those, in the last 50+ years it started only one war (against Vietnam), and even then backed off quickly.

But that’s besides the point. The reality is, several countries (at least nine today) have nukes and have no intention of abandoning them. Which means that any country wanting to keep its sovereignty needs a deterrent to scare those sharks off. As the experience of NK shows, nukes are the most effective deterrent. Hence, proliferation of nukes is inevitable, so that “exclusive club” does not feel all that exclusive. That’s basically why bipolar world was better than unipolar: no bully felt that he has a free hand.

  247. A123 says:

As the experience of NK shows, nukes are the most effective deterrent.

As the NK experience shows, being the vassal state of a superpower is a path to minimal sovereignty. NK is totally dependant on China for both energy and food. As a result, the Norks do exactly what Beijing instructs.

several countries (at least nine today) have nukes and have no intention of abandoning them. Which means that any country wanting to keep its sovereignty needs a deterrent

    Under your plan:

    — How many additional countries will get nukes? If nukes are the ‘only’ deterrent, does that mean that every nation needs one?
    — If large numbers of additional countries obtain nukes, what is the increased chance of one of more being used (accidentally or intentionally), lost, or stolen?
    — How much wealth do you want to transfer to the MIC investor class, including George Soros?

Again, your plan makes mankind less safe and George Soros wealthier. Those of us who are interested in peace oppose the inevitable results of your proposal.

Mankind will be wealthier and safer if nuclear proliferation stops.

You are betraying you US-Israel-UK-centric thinking too obviously. Only in sick nations there are weapons manufacturers that get richer when the nation wastes its resources on war toys. The scum like Soros flourishes in those sick societies. The good thing is, in those countries weapons manufacturers steal so much that the weapons they produce and sell the military via corrupt officials aren’t even fit for the purpose. The super-duper fighter jets have trouble flying, the super-duper ships experience engine breakdown in Panama channel, etc. In a healthy country military expenses are counted as what they really are: a subtraction from national wealth, with no one benefiting.

The humanity could have been safer and wealthier w/o nukes, but several countries that cannot be trusted in anything already have them: the US, the UK, Israel. Thus, depriving others of the right to acquire nukes means giving these criminals an unfair advantage.

Naturally, that’s what hasbara and State Department trolls are rooting for.

If there was anything more oxymoronic uttered by a complete moron than the following clueless statement. I haven’t seen it:

“You are revealing your massive anti-US, pro-Globalist bias.”

Do you even know what the concept of what is called “Globalism” is? I’m surprised you can type the numbers you use for your handle in the numerically correct order.
