The Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft think tank launched last November. It has recently issued a roughly 15,000 word manifesto entitled “Ending America’s Misguided Policy of Middle East Domination.” For those who would find ten thousand words plus intimidating, the paper includes a more digestible 1,221 word executive summary which fairly accurately summarizes the document’s conclusions.

I have written about Quincy before, here and here and here. In short, while I would applaud a restrained foreign policy, particularly for the Middle East, I find Quincy unconvincing. It claims to promote “ideas that move U.S. foreign policy away from endless war and toward vigorous diplomacy in the pursuit of international peace” and further takes some pride in being non-partisan, though bipartisan might be a better description. To be sure, Quincy’s two major donors have been reported to be the highly controversial George Soros on the globalist left and the equally notorious Koch Foundation on the libertarian-lite right.

Soros in particular has been much in the news of late given his alleged propensity to fund and otherwise support groups and organizations that many would regard as conspiratorial or even violently radical, to include black lives matter and Antifa. Soros, a Hungarian Jew who is now a U.S. citizen, has been especially engaged in interventions to bring about “regime change” through “democracy movements” in Eastern Europe and he has exhibited a particularly animosity towards Russia, making one suspect that his cash will influence what Quincy is allowed to say about the Kremlin.

The new Quincy report was co-authored by Paul Pillar, Andrew Bacevich, Trita Parsi and Annelle Sheline. I am not familiar with Sheline’s work, but Pillar, Bacevich and Parsi are all highly respectable and very knowledgeable about both national security and developments in the Middle East. To be sure, the paper includes a lot of useful information and insights into how various policies have evolved plus some very positive suggestions for extricating the U.S. from the Asian quagmire. But one should also accept that what is included in its agenda and how it is framed might be shaped by outside considerations, to include how Quincy is funded. It is not so much a matter of what the contributors write, but rather how it is spun and what is either minimized or not even addressed at all.

The ability to write about the Middle East in an even-handed “realistic” fashion, which is what the new article seeks to do, is based on the premise that there is equivalency among all of the players involved. That is, of course, nonsense. Many observers would note that the United States currently is in the Middle East and playing the role that it does mostly due to the immense power of Israel and its domestic lobby operating largely out of Washington and New York City.

Israel’s ability to make American presidents and the U.S. Congress do what it wishes is clearly visible wherever one chooses to look. The American people have gained nothing from giving Israel hundreds of billions of dollars and an endless supply of weapons while also looking the other way as Israel stole nuclear secrets and spied on the U.S. more than any other “friendly” country. What did the U.S. gain in recently moving the American Embassy to Jerusalem, in allowing Benjamin Netanyahu to annex the Golan Heights, in approving the bombing of Syria and Iran, or in permitting the systematic Israeli dehumanizing of the Palestinians?

A recent article by Professor Bacevich entitled “President Trump, Please End the American Era in the Middle East” appears to a precursor study to the current longer Quincy report. It is a good example of how self-censorship over Israel by authors works. The article particularly focused on the foreign policy pronouncements of Bret Stephens, the resident neocon who writes for The New York Times. Stephens, per Bacevich, has been urging constant war in the Middle East and worrying lest “we may be witnessing the beginning of the end of the American era in the Middle East.” Bacevich correctly described how “in the Middle East, the military power of the United States has played a large part in exacerbating problems rather than contributing to their solution.”

The overall message is sound, but in this case, it is interesting to note what Bacevich left out rather than what he included. He cited Iran seven times as well as Saudi Arabia, but, strangely enough, he never mentioned Israel at all, which a number of commenters on the piece noted. It rather suggests that there is a line that Bacevich is reluctant to cross. The omission is particularly odd as Israel is absolutely central to and might even be described as driving American policy in the Middle East and Bret Stephens, whom Bacevich excoriates, is a notable Israel-firster who once worked as the editor of the Jerusalem Post.

Bacevich also has produced an op-ed entitled “Foreign governments are messing with our elections the old-fashioned way” in the Boston Globe. It again fails to mention Israel at all in spite of that country’s enormous influence over the U.S. electoral process through the political donations provided by dual loyalty billionaires Sheldon Adelson and Haim Saban to Republicans and Democrats respectively. In fact, Bacevich has clearly indicated that there will be red lines, that the Quincy Institute won’t focus on “highlighting pro-Israel organizations or donors.” In other words, it will not criticize Israel’s Lobby as a key driving element in America’s interventionist foreign policy.

Bacevich is a smart man who knows perfectly well what Israel and its lobby represents but he also knows that anyone who wants to be a player in Washington DC has to avoid the Israel hot wire. The Quincy report includes, for example, lengthy separate sections on Iraq, Syria, Iran and Yemen but nothing similar on Israel. I have, however, excerpted all the citations of Israel in the full text. They are:

“U.S. military assistance—most prominently to Israel, Egypt, and Jordan, but also to armed proxy groups in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya—exacerbates abuses that contribute to instability… Unconditional U.S. military support for Israel has facilitated its continued occupation of Palestinian territory (potentially culminating in the annexation of the West Bank) and reduced incentives to pursue a peaceful resolution to the conflict.”

The bombing of the U.S. “embassy in Beirut, [was] a direct response to U.S. military intervention in Lebanon, which, in turn, was an attempt to deal with the consequences of the Israeli invasion of Lebanon a year earlier.”

“The Israel–Palestine conflict has been an especially salient example of such an issue, as underscored by how Palestinians opposing the Israeli occupation were in the forefront of the wave of international terrorism that began in the late 1960s. International terrorism sponsored by Palestinian organizations abated once the U.S. and Israel began engaging the Palestinians in the late 1980s.”

“In other cases, U.S. support for a militarily superior partner has tended to reduce that country’s incentives to resolve conflicts and instead opt to safeguard a status quo favorable to its interests but not to regional stability and U.S. interests. As the only state in the region with nuclear weapons and as a highly effective conventional military power in its own right—and with a qualitative edge conferred over many years by the U.S. and effective weapons development and manufacturing capacities—Israel no longer needs the U.S. to guarantee its security. Yet the U.S. sends Israel $3.8 billion in military aid annually. As of 2019, Israel had received $142.3 billion from the U.S. since 1949 —significantly more than any other nation.40 American military aid is sent regardless of whether Israel tries to resolve the conflict with the Palestinians. By persistently bolstering Israel’s qualitative military edge no matter what direction Israeli policy takes, U.S. assistance as currently structured does not incentivize Israel to pursue compromise, whether with the Palestinians or other neighbors.”

“…persistent U.S. antipathy creates a security dilemma for Iran. U.S. military support for Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE causes Iran to perceive itself as under threat and to respond by trying to enhance its own security, partly by investing in paramilitary groups beyond its borders.”

“In Israel, where the well-reinforced assumption that unquestioning U.S. support will continue no matter what Israel does, it has long been evident that this has encouraged destructive Israeli practices such as the continued building of Israeli settlements in the Occupied Territories.”

“Such a rights-respecting policy would include making military assistance to Israel—for decades (and still) the largest recipient of such assistance—conditional on Israel ending its routine violation of human rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. These offenses include ongoing settlement expansion in the West Bank and East Jerusalem and attacks in Gaza that have failed to fulfill obligations to protect civilians. Israel is a nuclear and military superpower in the region that does not need American military aid to defend itself. As such, it should arguably not be a candidate for military aid in the first place. To the extent military aid should be provided to Middle Eastern states, priority should be given to those at risk of becoming failed states. If Washington decides to continue aid to Israel, it should be conditioned on changes to Israeli policies that advance stability and U.S. interests.”

“A consistent rights-respecting policy embedded in a broader approach to the region, one that emphasizes core U.S. interests, problem-solving diplomacy, and engagement with all relevant regional actors, would have consequences for how the U.S. has traditionally managed the Israel–Palestine conflict. The shortcomings of the U.S.–led peace process have become increasingly evident, all the more so as the Trump administration has abandoned any pretense of serving as an honest broker. It is a process that ill-serves U.S. interests as well as Israel’s long-term well-being, let alone its failure to help the Palestinians.”

“…there would be greater space for advancing negotiated and diplomatic solutions to various conflicts in the region, notably in the Saudi–Iran and Israel–Palestine cases.”

“For the United States, this means a significant reduction of arms sales, primarily to Saudi Arabia, Israel, and the UAE.”

Some of the citations regarding Israel are bundled with other countries, most particularly as related to arms sales and regional conflicts. Other excerpts correctly note that the status quo with Israel serves no American interests and is not even good for Israel, but the problem is that the solution is lame, or to describe it more properly, irrelevant. Distancing the U.S. from the region’s quarrels depends solely on disengaging with Israel first as American hostility towards an unthreatening Iran, Lebanon and Syria is a result of successful advocacy by the Jewish state. And serving as an “honest broker” vis-à-vis the Palestinians is sheer fantasy as it has never been the case for any U.S. administration due to effective Israeli pressure. If the Quincies were being honest, they would concede up front that the so-called peace plan currently being floated is a complete sell out to Israel. Any kind of shift in policy also assumes that Israelis want peace with the Palestinians, but opinion polls suggest otherwise, with many Israelis routinely referring to the Arabs as “terrorists.”

The only suggestion with any teeth to it is making military assistance to Israel conditional on its human rights record towards the Palestinians, but that in turn exposes the fundamental flaw in the arguments being made. The problem for the U.S. is not Israel per se but rather the enormously powerful domestic Israel Lobby which will make sure that nothing will be done to alter the status quo. The American government and media are completely dominated by Jewish billionaire-funded organizations that have repeatedly demonstrated that they have sufficient clout to stop any defections, witness the recent affirmation of the U.S./Israel relationship in the Democratic Party electoral platform and Joe Biden’s proud declaration that he is a “Zionist.” Quincy is delusional if it thinks that it can reorder the Middle East based on “realism and restraint” without the cooperation of Congress and the White House, which are bought and paid for and totally resistant to change.

So, Quincy has a lot of interesting ideas and the basic premise of non-interventionism is sound. But regarding the real fly in the ointment, Israel, it is pointless to urge “realism” in a situation that has not been realistic since 1947. Unfortunately, in America everything has a price and Jewish groups have been canny enough to buy Congress, the White House and much of the media at bargain prices to make sure that Israel stays protected. If you are not addressing that issue out in the open you are wasting your time. Not surprisingly, it would seem that any concerns over the reorganization of the Middle East as proposed by Quincy are most definitely not going to keep Benjamin Netanyahu awake at night.

  2. ‘… The American government and media are completely dominated by Jewish billionaire-funded organizations that have repeatedly demonstrated that they have sufficient clout to stop any defections…’

To be fair, I think this ignores the boots on the ground; to wit, the millions of Evangelicals who (very mindlessly) support Israel no matter what. They, as much as the dollars if not more, are the problem.

If you doubt this, just look at one of those 385-23 House ‘we wuv Israel the bestest’ votes. The 23 dissenters will usually be from liberal suburban or urban districts — often ones with significant numbers of Jews. They will never, ever be from districts with a lot of Evangelicals.

You can’t fight a war without bullets — and the Adelsons et al buy the bullets. But equally, you can’t fight it without grunts — and the Evangelicals are the grunts.

  3. If you find yourself saying that a situation has not been realistic since 1947, then you’re confusing you’re confusing your imagination for reality.

An absolutely excellent description of the situation. I have long been disappointed in Bacevich’s totally dodging or sideways allusions to the fundamental facts about Israel. Even Oliver Stone recoiled from the issue of Jeffry Epstein and Israel in his recent, otherwise excellent interview with Joe Rogan. “Joe Rogan Experience #1511 – Oliver Stone”

It seemed to me that Stone’s reaction was one of fear. As brave as Stone is, he knows that the Israelis are essentially vicious thugs backed by a vast amount of money, who can whack anybody, anytime, even a prisoner on suicide watch in a maximum security Federal prison. The ocean of money for bribery is important. But the blackmail and death threats clinch their control. 5. The only thing that brings Israel and Zionism to reason is the decline of the West where we are already seeing cracks in the backbone of the Western system of governance mainly the highly disruptive role of central banking which is flooding the economy with money created out of thin air. The FED is indirectly nationalising the American economy to the benefit of the super rich and by propping up the value of financial assets, it is debasing the US Dollar which is the last bastion of American power.

When the alternative plan for the world that is promoted by the Chinese matures, namely a new digital world currency based on a basket of leading currencies including gold, the Dollar will revert to being a strictly US currency and the financing of the military industrial complex will not be possible through the perpetuation of huge deficits while keeping interest rates close to zero. At this point, the prime bankroller of Israel won’t be able to do much and Israel’s option would be to adapt itself to being an acceptable country to its direct neighbours and to the world in general. Add to those facts an axis of resistance stretching from Tehran via Baghdad, Damascus all the way to Beirut, and the prospects for Israel will look bleaker than ever notwithstanding their conventional military might or their nuclear arsenal.

it’s due to the heresy of Christian-Zionism, facilitated by the purposely deceiving Scofield-Bible. In the EU it’s due to the guilt over the holocaust. But Europe’s guilt is mostly enforced by the US.
The solution is a spiritual one, i.e. Evangelicals need to repent the heresy, and turn away. The political fallout will be a massive drop in support for Israel and jewish causes, and through that reduction in aid, free gifts and support at the UN. Israel is a basket case, without the money from the US and Germany it cannot exist, certainly not at the military level it currently sustains, and which is the only way it can keep it’s enemies at bay. The jewish billionaires are not going to emtpy their pockets to keep that country afloat.

  10. An excellent and insightful article on a what seems like controlled opposition but maybe more of an attempt to slow the Israel first agenda in W DC by remaining ‘mainstream’ whatever that is, which by today’s developing definition is not offending the Zio gate keepers of US media and political power.

The question arises not why Soros and Koch are funding it, neither are known to particularly lap dogs for the extremist Israeli Zio right, but more lappy dogs for the neo- liberal Zio elite in case of Soros, seeking to temper Israel’s “take it all strategy while it can.” Soros can be identified as the international banking globalish neo-liberal, that might place its interests over the narrower super Zio domination agenda. Koch has been known as a libertrarian and US firster, however they can be mixed. He may a be seeking to end the US’s uncontrolled servitude to the Zio state and its US henchman in Washington and NY.

My main question is why create the Quincy institute now? Answer seems simple, the intellegentsia of the USA, is moving toward discarding or at least distancing itself from the overly self serving Zionist agenda and manipulation of our political – governing elites. This Zio dominion over all US policies foreign and increasingly domestic and military, trade and economic re- direction of the US behemoth, now seems evidently counter productive and contrary to maintaining the US’ position of political economic dominance and all the while dispatching the US to a “has been” military-economic power.

Whether Quincy is pure controlled opposition or the harbinger of moves by the political economic elite to slowly pull the rug on our Zio domination should be borne out in the coming years.

We also have to get away from the “judeo-Christian” mindset, as well…

Using the “Old Testament” for “laws” is wrong. Yes, the Ten Commandments are a good guide which proscribes certain behaviors, but the rest of mosaic law relies on a vindictive, vengeful “god” to exact “punishment” on “his people”.

That my work fine for jews, as they have their evil “talmud” to rely on, but “for the rest of us”, it won’t wash.

Judaism is an insular belief system that shuns outsiders, prohibits proselytization, and promotes a form of supremacy, relegating all gentiles (non-jews) to the status of livestock-subhumans with souls, only to be used for the advancement and benefit of jews.

In fact, slavery (of goyim) is still condoned and encouraged in the jewish Talmud. In addition, the jewish Talmud condones pedophilia, allowing lecherous old jews to rape children as long as they are “three years and a day” of age.

The barbaric practice of circumcision (male genital mutilation) is also suspect, the mohel fellating the infant after the “deed is done” passing on who knows what STDs to the infant. Sick…

In fact, every jewish “holiday” (holy day) is based on the celebration of genocide and destruction of gentiles.

Our present troubles are a result of a jewish cabal taking over political decisions in our nominally “multicultural” country.

Tying Judaism to Christianity was a clever trick used by the jews to “cement” their claim to the “land of Israel” and of the covenant, to which I reply, “God is not a real estate agent”.

Jews rejected the covenant when they murdered Jesus Christ. Their covenant with God was then “null and void”.

It is the flawed Schofield translation of the Bible that elevated jews to the status of Christianity’s “elder brothers”, which was then reinforced by the Catholic (flawed) “Vatican II Ecumenical Council” in the 1960s.

I cringe when I hear well-meaning people talk about out judeo-Christian heritage.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

The god of judaism is a vengeful god, totally unlike the merciful and welcoming God of Christianity.

Christianity welcomes ALL, regardless of nationality or social status, not true of judaism.

Jews DID murder Jesus Christ and TOOK FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR DOING SO.

Sad to say, even the present-day (post-Vatican II ecumenical council) Catholic church has bought into absolving the jews for Jesus Christ’s murder.

As always is the case, even today, the jews got others, the Romans to do their dirty work for them, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

How can Christians have the same values as the Jews; the very people who denounced and betrayed the founder of Christianity, Jesus Christ, and call for his execution (by others, of course, that is the Jewish way).

It makes absolutely no sense at all.

Jews have no respect for Christianity, for Jesus Christ or Mary, his mother, who are both honored as Prophets in Islam, but instead, Jews spit on hearing their names and do the same while passing a Christian of any kind or a Christian Church in Israel. They have no respect for Christians or any other religion.

It is time the Jewish lobbies and the American Government leaders as well as the evangelical Christian leaders who mislead the poor American young into joining the military and believing that they are doing something for God and Christianity by fighting Israel’s wars were named, shamed and arrested and tried for treason.

In a perverse sort of way, israel’s favorite “war song” is “Onward Christian Soldiers”

    There…I’ve said it…

  16. It seems that Israel over the years cynically offered the US arms manufacturers a deal. Have the US Congress pay for manufacturing arms and Israel will buy a good portion of them with US money. We get the arms and you get to manufacture and sell them and Uncle Sam pays. So it is as much the arms manufacturers with the connivance of our military establishment – 700 bases and installations all over the world – as it is Israel. So while Israel is as cynical and as self-serving as it is – like other countries – and will not ever stop taking the free money, it is up to us Americans to change the system by undoing the military archipelago and reforming the CIA, FBI etc. and unfunding the arms manufacturing. So far as I see that is an impossible project.

The picture at the top of the document is telling. American soldiers overseeing a line of ever so peaceful, indeed angelic, Muslims; with the spray-painted word “Liberty” in the background, a ham-fisted conjuring of China’s treatment of the Uighurs.

That’s isn’t the half of it when it comes to this jargon-laden, sleep-inducing collection of jibber jabber.

It has a few rather obvious purposes. The first is to give a pass to all of the personalities involved in American foreign policy during the Bush/Obama administrations. Who better to fund such an effort than the duo of trouble-maker Soros and ‘I’m a Libertarian, whatever that means’ Koch.

The anti-Trump alignment of 2016 hasn’t changed. This is timed for the election in the hopes of not only snookering some foreign policy oriented voters susceptible to such insult to the intelligence signaling, but to foreign powers that once Trump is gone it will be back to business as usual.

One morning in Paris, I had coffee with Alex Soros, who is 32 and the second-youngest of George’s five children… When the caffeine finally kicked in, Alex told me that for many years, his father had not been eager to advertise his Judaism because “this was something he was almost killed for.” But he had always “identified firstly as a Jew,” and his philanthropy was ultimately an expression of his Jewish identity, in that he felt a solidarity with other minority groups and also because he recognized that a Jew could only truly be safe in a world in which all minorities were protected. Explaining his father’s motives, he said, “The reason you fight for an open society is because that’s the only society that you can live in, as a Jew…“

There were no ovens. And Soros collaborated with the Nazis to help create Israel, which the Jewish bankers were fully behind, while simultaneously seeing to the destruction of Germany.

That is enough to discredit this paper and the authors who desire to destroy Jewry.

The Jewish elites are going to end up “destroying” Jewry despite themselves. The greed and avarice of Jewish leaders will see to that, just like they “destroyed” the Jews in WW2.

Your example of whites taking on the character of blacks in order to control them (when in reality, they are losing the battle and actually becoming them) is a prime example.

    The expression ‘Judeo-Christian’ irritates me.

First, while I suspect the original intent was to include the newly arrived Jews in the American commonwealth, it has become a term intended to exclude Muslims instead.

Second, aside from the decidedly malevolent intent, the term is simply misleading. Judaism is a lot closer theologically to Islam than it is to Christianity. Then too, I believe Jews and Jewish converts contributed a lot more to the development of Islam and Islamic civilization than they ever did to the development of Christianity and Christendom. Famously, there were Jewish generals in Muslim Spain, blah, blah, blah. No Jewish knights were leading troops of Crusaders off to the Holy Land.

The only theology between Judaism and Islam is that GOD is Ahad (One Unit), which cannot be divided nor multiplied. Usually, the closed word to Ahad in English is One. Just like in Shema Ya’Israel Ahad means One Unit and not One. Wahid means One and not Ahad

Another similarity with Judaism is that the Creator cannot be creation, back to human beings being creations.

The rest, remember that Mohammad got all the stories wrong, which is very true! Like Adam didn’t commit any sin, the tree had no significance and no fallen angels. In fact, Adam (as) is a Prophet like Mohammad (saws) who is a Prophet too!

All Christian Bible’s are Old testament / New testament for a reason.

    Salam, Excellent and thanks!

One of things which has to be taken into account is the strength of written languages during the times of Jesus. Jesus spoke Aramaic because Hebrew was a dead language at that time. Spoken Hebrew was revived from Arabic in late 18th century.

The written Hebrew was nonexistence just like Arabic. There were written papyrus here and there, but the written Semitic languages were written without vowels and dots to differentiate between letters, therefore the written Semitic languages were very, very weak. For this reason the written Ingel (Good News, New Testament) is originally in Koine Greek and not in the real language of Jesus.

The miracle of Quran is that it introduced the Classical Quranic Arabic, with vowels, dots for letters and strong grammatical written language. This Arabic is taught to all linguistic students in colleges and universities. In 10th century, from the Classical Quranic Arabic, the complete TaNaKh (Old Testament) was put pen to paper.

I wonder how many changes took place for 1000 years in TaNaKh, from the times of Jesus to the 10th century…. When Jesus said that the Old Testament is TRUE Word of God, did he mean the same TaNaKh which was put pen to paper in 10th century!

    Best regards,

    Mohamed

None of this is actually false, but it does manage to reverse the relationships.

To become a Christian, a Jew has to accept (1) that the Messiah already came, (2) that He was the Son of God, and (3) that the entire New Testament is an addition to scripture. He also has to accept that his people murdered that Messiah, and thereby ceased to be God’s chosen people.

    It’s quite a plateful.

Now, to become a Muslim, a Jew basically needs to accept that there were two more prophets, and that the retelling of the Old Testament in the Quran is the correct text.

The barbaric practice of circumcision (male genital mutilation) is also suspect,

There are distinct and long-documented health benefits for both those circumcised AND their female sex partners. Many sexually-transmitted diseases and some cancers are less prevalent in both when the male partner is circumcised.

I think it very likely that peoples long ago figured that out and, in later centuries, science proved it.

  67. @Pop Warner

‘This is such a cop out…’

No, it’s not a ‘cop out.’

It’s recognizing the actual situation. We so reflexively and unconditionally support Israel not just because it’s very lucrative for politicians to do that and very expensive for them not to, but because most of those politicians have a knee-jerk pro-Israel contingent among their constituents.

Congressman Blank always supports Israel not just because he’s paid to, and not just because if he doesn’t, he’ll be facing a well-funded opponent in the next election, but because a nice fat slice of his voters will immediately decamp if he stops toeing the line.

You can’t effectively fight all this if you refuse to admit the reality of the situation. It’s not just a function of evil wealthy Jews supporting Israel. They’re part of the equation, but only part,

Generally, people have coming of age rites, and generally, the more primitive the people, the more grueling the rite. Australian Aborigines, for example, split the adolescent’s penis open like a sausage. For the rest of his life, he has to squat to urinate.

The motive for circumcision isn’t hygiene. It’s — among other things — to mark someone as a member of the tribe. You might as well argue the Flathead Indians used to deform their infant’s skulls because they’d determined it gave them greater brain power.

If people want to circumcise their children, it’s fine with me. I’m not one of those people who throws a fit about the practice. But let’s not try to pretend it came about for rational and advanced reasons. That it has some slight effects on health one way or the other is not the main consideration.

But you need Old Testament to prove Jesus divinity. Thus, the word mean Jesus, our means which is three or more due to semantic plural, therefore trinity. Rearranging the TaNaKh making the book of Isaiah as the last chapter of Old Testament. And, don’t even think of Lucifer a Greek/Latin name and not a Hebrew name which appears in Christians’ Old Testament. Then we get to both Lucifer and Jesus being Morning Star. The concept of trinity is from Hinduism concept of trimurti.

Islam doesn’t need either Old Testament or new Testament, and reject them as corrupt scripture. Yes, the Creator is One so there is much similarity between religions. Creator is not exclusive to Judeo/Christianity.

BTW, all Prophets in Judeo/Christianity are corrupt and committed sins. Prophets’ cheating, raping their daughters, committing incest, getting drunk and so forth. In Islam each and every Prophet is sinless!

If that were true, Muslims and Jews on the one hand, and everyone else on the other, would have similar rates of circumcision.

For that to happen, the Jews of Israel would have to go to a mass conversion of Christianity or at least Christian values. Christianity was what after all rescued the American Indians from genocide. At some point in time, America did start honouring what was left of Indian Treaties, and the Indians went shopping. In the Old Testament, good guy Esea forgave bad guy Jacob for blatant bribing and cheating of his first born inheritance. Then Eseau embraced Jacob and peace came to Canaan. Perhaps the only good thing to be said about Christian Zionism, they do appear to be looking forward to this.

Corruption brings failure as talented people are replaced by dishonest and less capable individuals due to a tribal nepotism.

I am certain that religion played no part whatsoever in why it has been done in several generations of my family. And I have come across no American males who ever mentioned that religion was a factor in why their parents chose it for them (although that may have been part of the reason for some Jews I’ve known). And I’m aware that some Europeans I’ve known were circumcised.

To clarify about the health — besides the men themselves, there is definitive increased disease risk to the female sex partners of uncircumcised men. If you search on the CDC or NIH website, you will find that. Color me not shocked that males would not know, or care, about that.

In Islam the translated Quran is not considered QURAN. Even the translated Quran is called, transliterated because it is very, very difficult to translate from Arabic to English. Then agendas are added while translating. Following is a prime example:

    عَبَسَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ – 80:1
The Prophet frowned and turned away

    https://quran.com/80

The above translation is from most popular Quran site but it is a Wahhabi translation, so the translation is with agenda. If you knew Arabic, the original verse says, “He frowned and he turned away”. You see there is no where is the verse the word, “Prophet” is used. The Wahhabis hate the Prophet, so they are always trying to demean the Prophet.

The Quran in full chapter 66, which has 12 verses, calls Aisha a liar and destined for hell. But the Wahhabis have narrations from Aisha that when she was six the Prophet married her and when she was nine, he consummated the marriage with her. The narration is NOT from the Prophet but it is from Aisha singing her own songs.

2 When you give him up you can get his possessions OR

Circumcision has no justifiable benefits and is in fact harmful – from pain and suffering, to surgical botches, to reduced maternal-child bonding. Medical authorities throughout the world consider circumcision medically unnecessary and unethical.

Hope you won’t be offended when I mention that your knowledge of circumcision is zilch, and it is limited to cut and paste. The reason for circumcision according to various religions.

Judaism: It has nothing to do with cleanliness and medical benefit. I am sure that you being an avid reader of OT, you know that circumcision in Judaism had to do with covenant with God and requires drawing of blood, which in some cases can be very dangerous.

Christianity: No need for circumcision by accepting Jesus as he shed his blood for you. Acceptance of Jesus’ blood means covenant with God.

Islam: Blood from whatever source when exposed to air is bad and leads to infections and diseases. A case in point is the blood of HIV positive. Islam requires to keep the area very clean as it can lead to gonorrhea, clap, syphilis, and other diseases including HIV. So, pubic hair needs constantly to be shaved, and should be no longer than 1/8 inch in length. Under the foreskin due to lack of good hygiene and more importantly lack of water, a yellowish cheesy forms under the foreskin which remains full of bacteria.

I am 68 now and my son is 32. He was circumcised on second day of his birth in the hospital. It didn’t require any surgical instruments. No cuts and so forth. He was given a local anesthesia in the room, a tight rubber band was put under the foreskin while pushing the skin backwards and after 10 minutes the skin fell off. There was no chance of botch up and no mutilation took place. Islam is the religion of cleanliness. Thanks to Covid-19 we now all wash our genitals and hands after peeing. Islam didn’t need Covid-19 to practice this.

    Best regards,

    Mohamed

Those Zionist Republicans keep telling us that the Democratic party is anti-Semitic, but in reality the Democratic party (in addition to nominally leftwing parties all over the western world) gets more and more Zionist with every passing day. the Jews of Israel would have to go to a mass conversion of Christianity or at least Christian values.

Yes, that conversion should come naturally, even if somewhat redundant, because both share a similar “in-his-image” pagan mangods-worship, hence the so-called Judeo-Christian civilisation. Actually, it makes more sense for Christians to convert to Judenism, children reverting to the parent faith and all.

As for “Christian values,” like what is evidenced by the gatekeepers of Christendom, namely, unabashed Greed, Psychopathy, Bloodlust, Promiscuity, Intoxication, Gambling, etc., surely “Jews of Israel” have plenty “Christian values.”

As for one more of those glorious “Christian values,” that of the accursed pederast priests, I am not so sure that is as prevalent amongst the equally accursed rabbis.

For the umpteenth time, what most hyphenates the two of you is your absolutely pagan “in-his-image” mangod(s)-worship!! Also, which of those “Old-” scriptures idolises the Juden?

Does Islam subscribe to the curse of “in-his-image” mangods-worship? God forbid! Do the Islamic scriptures sing praises of the Juden? They are generally viewed as “wrongdoers.” In fact, it is said that when the blessed Islamic unwaveringly true monotheist Christ (pbuh) returns, he will convert the lot of Christians and smite the most rabid of the Juden.

Salam and welcome back Robin. I am glad that you took geokat’s advice and posted in Phil’s latest article. Geokat is right that Chuck has been missing you a lot and always inquire about you. Your reference to Surah 16:116, that “…..Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allah will not succeed.”.

Islam is a complete system of behavior and everything is defined in Islam. Basically, Islam goes beyond the bounds of cultures and races. Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim respectively are the two topmost books in Sunni religion and I will quote from them.

The Sunnah indicates that it is prescribed to remove pubic hair and armpit hair. Al-Bukhaari (5889) and Muslim (257) narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The fitrah is five things – or five things are part of the fitrah – circumcision, shaving the pubes, cutting the nails, plucking the armpit hairs, and trimming the mustache.”

The wisdom behind the prescription of removing the hair from these two places – and Allah knows best – is that removing it helps one to attain a perfect level of cleanliness and prevents what could emanate from them of bad smells if the hair was left without removing it. And there are other reasons and wisdom behind it.

LOL, my hick wife of 45 years from Arkansas used to gripe in early days, that what kind of religion is this, which prescribe you everything including how to walk, talk, behave which basically controls every facet of one’s life. We have two beautiful half breed children, a son and a daughter.

Your question to Uncle T about the translated Qurans, or rather transliterated Qurans, please see my above post #112. Basically, these are not considered Qurans by Islam as there is Only One Arabic Quran in Islam.

You are correct. I should have made clear that I think the nuclear option is not an option as an offensive weapon. Resorting to such powerful weapons is sure to provoke outrage and a raft of unexpected, bad consequences. Too, it doesn’t make sense to use a flame thrower to eliminate a fly in the kitchen.

That leaves leaders with their conventional resources which increasingly they must not use carelessly. Israel’s experience in Lebanon in 2006 was a hard lesson and they have not repeated their mistake. Hezbollah has a missile capability now as well that has further raised the ante. Israel also knows that its fighters fly only because of Russian forbearance. In 2006 it also saw the damage that a missile could do to a ship at sea. But I belabor my original point.

Your point about people escaping the spell is a fascinating one. It is equally applicable to the spell Americans have been under since 1991. The spell of”righteous American world leadership.” All the good will and moral authority the US had coming out of the Cold Was has been squandered because the US proceeded to act according to bizarre imperatives — plunder Russia, manufacture hysteria about Russian expansionism and election meddling, mindless MIC expense, multiculturalism, and enforced Jewish agenda. Many Americans are waking up and seeing things that were always there but blanketed by Cold War imperatives. Why exactly was it necessary to bomb Serbia and rip Kosovo away? What is this odd creature called “nation building”? Why is it necessary to have mass, illegal, third-world immigration? In what way are Muslims able to contribute to Western nations? What is the reason for suppressing free speech? Why must the reality of black hostility and dysfunction be endlessly hidden behind a wall of lies? Why should Jews control the media, Congress and the Fed? Why, if Jews control fabulous wealth, should charitable appeals be made to non-Jews for Holocaust survivors/elderly Jews in Timbuktu/elderly Jewish victims of terror? Why are we sanctioning everyone and his brother? What was so bad about Gaddafi? What business is it of ours if Crimes votes to return to Russia? Why should Venezuelans not have the government of their choosing? In what way does Syria threaten the US? What is so awful about Iran that we have to act like we are on the brink of war with them every second of every hour? Why exactly must we send $10M a day to Israel and what exactly is so wonderful about a country stolen from the Palestinians? Is it necessary for Israeli “settlers” to dump sewage on Palestinian villages and uproot their olive trees? Where does the Bible say that Palestine is the ancestral home of the Khazars? Where does the Constitution say that it’s a “living” Constitution or that the central government has unlimited powers? What role did Jews play in the Bolshevik catastrophe? Are Jews EVER responsible for the hostility toward them? Have Jews destroyed America with their vicious promotion of third-world immigration? Is the Fed operating in pure panic mode and, anyway, why do we have a Fed and who makes what profits from it and why? Did Jews manipulate Wilson and the nation into needlessly entering WWI? Who exactly did Epstein blackmail and who killed him? Why are there no prosecutions in Coupgate?

Okay. I’ll stop. But I could go on and I think any non-brain dead Westerner could come up with his own list. And with such lists in mind, what Westerner can be under any any kind of a delusion that an immense catastrophe is in the offing?

Apparently, we are not at a point of critical mass as Tucker and Lou and the like are still a minority and half the US seems willing to support a creepy, corrupt presidential candidate who’s clearly struggling with dementia. It’s also unser Unglueck to have in Trump a leader with some excellent instincts on trade/alliance issues but who is oddly neutered in ways and most certainly bereft of the vision thing.

Economic catastrophe will sober many up. Probably there will be no large-scale epiphanies before then but my questions remain and that we live in a moribund culture cannot be denied.

    Whoa!

    Salam Robin,

When I first joined this forum, I made two claims. I am a Shia. Iran and USA are in cahoots to destroy IsraHell and still today I have the same views, but everybody my conviction gets on stronger. Almost everyone jumped on me and started calling a fake or a hasbara. I basically became an outcast and was not given a chance to explain myself. I see you asked Uncle T about Sufism and Sunni. I will explain my position religion-wise and political-wise how Iran and USA are in cahoots.

    Religion:

Shia: Their belief is that the Ahlul Bayt (Family of House) are spiritual, religious, and political leaders till today. These are 14 persons, but initially the first five persons are: Prophet Mohammad (saws), his daughter Fatima (as), his first cousin and husband of Fatima, Imam Ali (as). And, Fatima and Ali two children Imam Hassan (as) and Imam Hussein (as).

Sufi: Are Sunni who believe the spiritual and religious leaders are Ahlul Bayt but the political leaders are the Caliphs. Both President Assad and President Erdoğan consider themselves to be Sufi, however President Assad and his group were not considered to be Muslims by both Shia and Sunni. But things are changing. Once President Erdoğan told President Assad, if you are lover of Imam Ali, I am too, but I do salat (pray), fast and so forth.

Wahhabi: Are Sunni who hate the Ahlul Bayt and are the enemies of the Ahlul Bayt. They glorify the first Islamic Dynasty, the Caliphate of Omayyad. The first Kingdom of Caliphate, which started from the fifth Caliph onward. To gain power the Omayyad’s murdered Imam Ali, Imam Hassan and Imam Hussein. Basically, murdered the whole family of the Prophet.

    https://whoishussain.org/who-is-hussain/the-full-story/

Sunni: They believe in Caliphs to be spiritual, religious, and political leaders. Their theology and Sharia differs from country to county. The Sunni have four different and sometimes conflicting Sharia. Countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Muslims in India, favor the Wahhabi theology due to investment in them through Petrodollars.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabic only interest is to preserve their crown. Wahhabism has become hindrance to them. Imagine in this day and age, women in KSA cannot drive. So, they have agreed to throw under the bus the Caliphates (Kingdoms) of Omayyad, Abbasid, Ottoman and so forth. Thanks to Caliph abu Bakr al-Baghdadi belief in Caliphate system is no longer necessary for a Muslim. By rejecting Caliph abu Bakr al-Baghdadi all Muslim became Kaffir and not just the Shia.

Also, they have agreed even though the wives of Prophet are Ahlul Bayt, they are not real Ahlul Bayt as their relation is by marriage and not by blood. Prophet married about 14 wives, but he only had one surviving daughter Fatima, and his generations are from Fatima and Ali. Usually, generation run from male child and not female child but God made an exception for the Prophet. For Prophet’s two wives please refer to complete chapter 66.

Islam is becoming One and the Ummah is being United. This process is very, very slow and subtle and it started about 10 years ago.

    Political:

First thing Dubya did after 9/11 was to rid Iran of its two main enemies. Saddam Hussein on the North of Iran and Taliban on the South of Iran. Which in 2004 led to Jordan’s King complaining (rather complimenting) that a Shia Crescent (Power) is being created from Iran to Syria. A half-moon shape curve from Iran to Syria. Shia were never allowed to practice their religion in Iraq, even though the Capital of Shia is Najaf, Iraq. About 4 million Muslims go to Hajj ever year, but after the downfall of Saddam around 22 million Muslims go to Karbala, Iraq.

    https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/sayed-mahdi-almodarresi/arbaeen-pilgrimage_b_6203756.html

So far, there always been saber rattling between USA and Iran, but in reality Iran is at the doorsteps of IsraHell. Religion-wise and political-wise the reality on the ground is different.

The Moderators : I will appreciate if you let this article go through without putting it in “more” tag!

It’s much worse. I can remember when those jews who touted “separation of church and state” pushed their agenda to the extreme–instituting lawsuits against municipalities who chose to allow Christmas displays on public property. The lawsuits were numerous, from big-city displays to small towns-public displays of Christianity were outlawed.
It’s turned full-circle. Christmas displays are still prohibited on public property while jewish menorahs are cropping up all over the place. Hell, even the White House proudly publicly displayed a jewish menorah.
Jews no longer couch their hatred of Christianity in legal terms, but are overtly brash and confident in their hatred of Christianity.
It is long overdue for ((them)) to be kicked out of country 110…

    Judeo-Christian is an oxymoron.

    As is Christian Zionist.

Yeah? So is Monotheistic Trinitarianism, the very foundation of Christendom.

Some 2 billion deluded godless souls believe this oxymoron is “The Truth.”

Oxymorons can simply be a state of mind.

  137. Moi says:

No argument from me on that 🙂

  138. @Moi

It’s more than an oxymoron. I call it “The Judy-Christy Magic Mindfuck.” Belief patterns of most people follow their programming.

Majority of Americans are programmed from very young ages to believe in the Old Testicles mythology for starters and then in Constantine’s reformulation of the many Christianities and Jesusisms into a top-down, unified cooked-up mythology, which with the absolute backing of state-power by a series of emperors of Rome; effectually circumcised the peoples of Europe by sundering those roots connecting them with their innate spirituality conjoining them with the natural world and all of Creation.

Cutting off the roots of any people is accomplished as a process of deracination. Deprive them of their tribal mythologies and substituting alien agendas dissolves the cohesion of a culture. THAT is by definition, a Magic Mindfuck. Magic is real. It is deeply spiritual. A people deprived of its history is little more than a vulnerable herd of Goyim. Contemporary pushers of this assault on spiritual reality are working with black-magic, an agenda with evil intent.

Jewish and Muslism theology is similar

With all due respect sir, that is simply untrue.

The Jewish theology may be putatively based on “monotheism,” but their core belief in man being created in the “image-of-god” is simply pagan mangods-worship (just like Christianity, Hinduism, etc.)

Sure, they dissemble about this, apprehending the spiritual hole they have dug for themselves, claiming that is not quite the essence of that clearly pagan belief, but given their history of calf-worship, it is hardly convincing.

Also, I have heard orthodox looking jews (in videos) spewing this same nonsense, in the same way Christians say it all the time, and the only reason for saying it is to imply its literal meaning… that their “god” is man-like, or man is god-like. Muslims will never claim this because the very idea is abominable, and a disgusting heresy.

So, at best Judaism can be defined as one more of those spiritual oxymorons, Monotheistic Paganism (or Paganistic Monotheism??). All quite similar to Monotheistic Trinitarianism of Christianity… or Monotheistic Trimurthism of Hinduism, and so on.

It is all these pagan polytheist mangods-worshipping faiths which share the same theology… as for Islam, it stands alone as the only shining light of True Monotheism.

    Peace be upon you.

Thank you for taking the time and the effort to write this all encompassing article that entails such fine soul searching questions which if answered correctly could very much undo the work of the fiend that has wreaked havoc on the Western Societies in general and on America in particular. To answer the whys, at the risk of being simplistic, I would say that it all relates to special interests and the worshippers of Mammon. That a country with the resources, the dynamism and the creativity of the U.S. should end up with a decaying society as we are seeing more by the day, is mind boggling.

The decline of societies starts in earnest with the degradation of the moral fibre of the people who make up society. Here, any half brain person can see the U.S. is hardly the country that the founding fathers have fought and worked for. Unfortunately, without a leader who could herald a spiritual revival, the rot will persist. The American system of checks and balances ( or cheques and balances) has been hijacked by the moneyed elites to the point that the Supreme Court gave corporations the right of citizens in 2010 which made the political and electoral system hostage to the financial contributions of corporate Amerika. The same Supreme Court exempted Big Pharma from any liability to the nefarious effects of vaccines. The media is owned lock, stock and barrel by the .01%. We could continue for hundreds of pages but I suppose most commentators on this site are very much aware of the gravity of the moral and ethical deficit which if left unchecked, there is little hope that the U.S. and the world to move from the current nightmare into a bright future.

I would appreciate that you grant me your permission to keep your valuable comment in my archives.

but an infant has no choice

That can be extended right down to a choice of been born, which those sweet little infants don’t also have.

Given how many of those innocent souls will grow up into adulthood, and take the path of Hellfire (godlessness\paganism\mangods-worship, wickedness…), and eventually as they stand at the gates of Hell, they will find themselves with much regret that they could not have made that crucial choice. Why was I born, they/you will scream?!

In fact, the Holy Quran says that those of unrighteous and/or the disbelievers would beg to be returned for another chance to live a true monotheist and righteous life…

And if you only could see when the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) shall hang their heads before their Lord (saying): “Our Lord! We have now seen and heard, so send us back (to the world), we will do righteous good deeds. Verily! We now believe with certainty.” : Holy Quran 32:12

So remember, the choice of circumcision, a most trivial matter, would be the least of your worries then, especially when you will be filled with regret that your parents made the choice of your birth.

Another reason why the “Christian” Evangelicals are a “jewish problem”.. David Brog et al. David Brog (Jewish) is the powerhouse behind the Christian organization (Christians United For Israel), yet he’s also a conservative (non-Messianic) Jew. He brought two other Jews on board: Shari Dollinger from Atlanta as one of his coordinators and Ari Morgenstern as communications director.

Morgenstern ensures CUFI’s messaging is consistent with what Brog wants—which is to convey that evangelical Christians support Israel, yet (to his Jewish supporters) are also “safe” because CUFI will never proselytize. In July 2015, Brog was tapped to head a new group called the Maccabee Task Force, an entity formed by American philanthropists Sheldon Adelson and Haim Saban to combat Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) activities on the college campus level.[2][3][4]

Our goal is to change the younger generation from neutral, if not opposed to, Israel to support of Israel.

    Salam,

Male circumcision is mandatory and required by Islam including shaving the pubic hair and armpits hair for both male and female. Female circumcision is an African practice and has nothing to do with Islam.

However, rarely the hood of the clitoral completely cover the the clitoris, which is the primary source of female sexual pleasure. In those rare cases Islam allows the hood to be partially removed, keeping in mind the area under the hood is very sensitive and much care is required. But this is not mandatory and it her choice if she wants to enhance her sexual pleasure.

The clitoris is one of the most sensitive erogenous zones due to its high concentration of nerve endings (4,5). By stimulating an erogenous zone, a sexual physiological response can be set into motion.
