Well I’ll concede that there is probably quite a bit about the Sassoons that I don’t know. (My introduction to the Sassoons was long ago only the poetic work of Siegfried Sassoon, one of Britain’s WW1 poets who I imagine was educated English gentleman more than Jewish by self identification) .
