Donald Trump might be described as unique as a president of the United States in that he constantly impulsively self-promotes in a bizarre fashion which the Independent has described as “wild days of authoritarian and incoherent outbursts.” But normally politicians are canny enough to steal and connive out of sight without letting on what they are doing or thinking. Given that, you know you are in deep trouble as a nation when a major political party is so tone deaf as to persist in introducing spokesmen who suffer from serious negative perceptions to boost the chances of their current candidates for office. That is precisely what the Democratic Party has been doing when it keeps employing the Obamas and Clintons to promote the Democratic National Committee platform and its candidates for the November elections while also supporting the campaign of Honest Joe Biden.

Reminding the national electorate of the legacies of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama guarantees that voters normally inclined to vote Republican or even independent will be energized and turn out in large numbers in spite of their disdain for Trump’s style. Hillary, after all, should still be in jail for her mishandling of classified information while Barack ought to be in prison for life for having given the orders to assassinate American citizens without due process while also using the intelligence and law enforcement agencies to undermine the Donald Trump campaign. Hillary and Barack were also complicit in unnecessary wars against Libya and Syria that have devastated both countries.

Hillary is a co-founder of Onward Together, a Democratic Party front group that is affiliated to other activist organizations. In a recent e-mail she played the race card in a bid to solidify the black vote behind the Democratic Party, writing “Friend, George Floyd’s life mattered. Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor’s lives mattered. Black lives matter. Against a backdrop of a pandemic that has disproportionately ravaged communities of color, we are being painfully reminded right now that we are long overdue for honest reckoning and meaningful action to dismantle systemic racism.”

It is, of course, a not-so-subtle bid to buy votes using the currently popular code words “systemic racism” as a pledge that the Democrats will take steps to materially benefit blacks if the party wins the White House and a majority in the Senate. She ends her e-mail with an odd commitment, “I promise to keep fighting alongside all of you to make the United States a place where all men and all women are treated as equals, just as we are and just as we deserve to be.” The comment is odd because she is on one hand promising to promote the interests of one group based on skin color while also stating that everyone should be “treated as equals.” Someone should tip her off to the fact that employment and educational racial preferences and reparations are not the hallmarks of a government that treats everyone the same.

But if one really wants to dig into the depths of the Democratic Party soul, or lack thereof, there is no one who is better than former U.N. Ambassador and Secretary of State under Bill Clinton, the estimable Madeleine Albright. She too has written an e-mail that recently went out to Democratic Party supporters, saying:

“I’m deeply concerned. Donald Trump poses an existential threat to our standing in the world and continues to threaten the decades of diplomatic progress we had made. It is easy to forget from the comfort of our homes that for many people, America is a beacon of hope and opportunity. We’re known as a country that keeps our promises and upholds justice and democracy, and that didn’t just happen overnight. We’ve spent decades building our nation’s reputation on the world stage through careful, strategic diplomacy — but in just under four years, Trump has done unspeakable damage to those relationships and has insulted even our closest allies.”

Albright, who is perhaps most famous for having stated that she thought that the deaths of 500,000 Iraqi children due to U.S. imposed sanctions was “worth it,” is living in a fantasy bubble that many politicians and high government officials seem to inhabit. She embraces the America the “Essential Nation” concept because it makes her and her former boss Bill Clinton look like great statesmen. She once enthused nonsensically that “If we have to use force, it is because we are America; we are the indispensable nation. We stand tall and we see further than other countries into the future, and we see the danger here to all of us.”

Madeleine Albright’s view that “America is a beacon of hope and opportunity…known as a country that keeps our promises and upholds justice and democracy” is also, of course, completely delusional, as opinion polls regularly indicate that nearly the entire world considers the U.S. to be extremely dangerous and virtually a rogue state in its blind pursuit of narrow self-interest combined with an unwillingness to uphold international law. And that has been true under both Democratic and Republican recent presidents, including Clinton. It is not just Trump.

Albright is clearly on a roll and has also submitted to a New York Times interview, further enlightening that paper’s readership on why the Trump administration is failing in its job of protecting the American people. The questions and answers are singularly, perhaps deliberately, unexciting and are largely focused on coronavirus and the new world order that it is shaping. Albright faults Trump for not promoting an international effort to defeat the virus, which is perhaps a bridge too far for most Americans who are not even very receptive to a nationally mandated pandemic response, let alone one requiring cooperation with “foreigners.”

Albright’s persistence as a go-to media “expert” on international relations is befuddling given her own history as an integral part of the inept foreign policy promoted by the Clinton Administration. She and Bill Clinton became cheerleaders for an unnecessary Balkan war that still resonates and were responsible for what was possibly the greatest foreign policy blunder (with the possible exception of the Iraq War) since the Second World War. That consisted of ignoring the commitment to post-Soviet Russia to not take advantage of the 1991 end of Communism by expanding U.S. or NATO military presence into Eastern Europe. Clinton/Albright reneged on that understanding and opened the door for many of the former Soviet allied states to enter NATO, thereby introducing a hostile military presence right up to Russia’s border.

Simultaneously, the U.S. enabled the election as Russian president of the hapless drunk Boris Yeltsin, who, guided by advisers sent by the White House, oversaw the western looting of his country’s natural resources. The bad decision-making under the Clintons led inevitably to the rise of Vladimir Putin as a corrective, which, exacerbated by Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State and a maladroit Donald Trump, has in turn produced the poisoned bilateral relationship between Washington and Moscow that currently prevails.

So, one might reasonably suggest to Joe Biden that if he really wants to get elected in November it would be a good idea to keep the Clintons, Albright and maybe even Obama carefully hidden away somewhere. Albright’s interview characteristically concludes with her plan for an “Avengers style dream team” to “fix the world right now.” She said that “Well, it certainly would be a female team. Without naming names, I would really try to look for women who are in office, both in the executive and legislative branch. I would try to have a female C.E.O., but also somebody who heads up a nongovernmental organization. You don’t want everybody that’s exactly the same. Oh, and I’m about to do a program for the National Democratic Institute with Angelina Jolie, and she made the most amazing movie about what was going on in Bosnia, so I would want her on my team.”

No men allowed and a Hollywood actress who is regarded as somewhat odd? Right.

  2. Hillary and Barack were also complicit in unnecessary wars against Libya and Syria that have devastated both countries.

Most Americans remain unaware of their destruction of Libya, Africa’s most prosperous nation, which claimed 40,000 black lives. Thousands more were killed as they destroyed Somalia and Sudan as part of the neocon plan from the Bush era to destroy “seven countries in five years” as General Wesley Clark told the world. Thousands more died as they attempted to destroy Syria. Here is a short summary of their destruction of Libya:

  3. Take a close look at the visage of Mad Albright. What do you see beyond the simple ravages of the aging process on a life misspent? Check out those eyes, unmasked by the rouge. Take a close look. What do you see? Can you discern the sociopathic evidence, the haunting by the scores of thousands of Iraqi children who starved to death under the tender mercies of United \$tates of America Corporation’s foreign policy on behalf of the agenda of the elite crime clans of highest international finance.

Maddie is a minion, a minion for genocide and for a total lack of elementary human empathy. She is an ambulatory exemplar of Kali Yuga, the age of devolution, which in polar opposition to the Celestial Kingdom which reigned in China as recently as the Ming Dynasty. During that era where administrative positions were based as much as possible on merit, the contrast is vivid versus the current reality in our ruptured republic where instead of the cream, the scum rises to the top.

During the days of her power and glory (Yeltsin years) Albright had made nine maps of the countries that would be created by the dissolution of Russia. Somebody walked in the poker game room and said “Let’s play a different game”. Enter the Putin era.

The democrats are just snake skins laying on the asphalt. The new sheriff in town (Syria, Libya) is laying out a different plan. Good by NWO , halo multipolar world.

  6. Trump declared on many occasions “ we are there because we want the oil”; crude? Yes but honest at least. For those who prefer smooth talkers like the Clintons and the Obamas, I state that the legacy of those two administrations has done more harm to the foreign perception of US power In the Middle East and Eastern Europe than any vulgar language pronounced by Trump who, so far, can be credited with not having started any foreign wars.

At least Trump tried to withdraw American troops from Syria only to be kept in check by the reality of the American Deep state power structure. Had he succeeded in his endeavour, US Russia relations would have better than they are today.

  8. Three months to the election and what is on the main menu? Two old white men, neither fit to serve the office of the Presidency. The nation is a tired old whore, spent from all those wars for Zion, and it seems to me the crazy cat lady from the Simpsons is better than Trump or Biden. Both candidates are loony tune, both are completely unacceptable. We are looking at Weimar in the mirror. The nation has run it’s course, the Republic is dead.

(Weimar Germany, of course, collapsed. Weimar is also the prelude democratic state before the rise of the authoritarian state. All those who thought Trump was a new Hitler are fools, Trump is the slavish whore of the Jews, not the opposing force, not the charismatic leader who restores sanity to the nation wrecked by Jews. What Trump is, is the final wrecking ball, not the savior.)

Gone are the glory days of imperial dreams, Amerika is not longer fit to wage another big war in the Middle East for Israel. So what is Bibi to do, Israel is in corona crazy lockdown, and his influence on Amerikan politics seems to me slipping badly. How much longer will AIPAC be allowed to influence our politicians if we go into a hyper deflationary crash? It seems to me the Greater Israel project is about to get the rug pulled out, because if the USA crashes and burns no one will tolerate one more cent going to that god forsaken shithole.

  9. I despise liberals, but if Barack Obama were ever put on trial for ordering the droning of Anwar Al-Awlaki and those of similar ilk, he’d want me on the jury as I would be a guaranteed vote for acquittal. The only ones who exceed liberals in contemptibility are “conservatives” who consider a Moslem terrorist something other than an unlawful enemy combatant with no rights. It doesn’t matter an iota where Al-Awlaki’s mother defecated him. To paraphrase the great Roger Taney, he had no rights we were bound to respect. Anyone who in the Year Zero of the After-Floyd Era still thinks citizenship means something under the preposterous U.S. legal system is a fool. The concept of citizenship divorced from a common race, ethnicity, culture, and faith is hollow and only a liberal ideologue, whether of the liberal or “conservative” faction of liberalism, would deny that at this point. Al-Awlaki was not one of us and not entitled to our fellowship or consideration. Those who hold otherwise are the reason our cities are burning and our country is flooded with unassimilable aliens.

“That is precisely what the Democratic Party has been doing when it keeps employing the Obamas and Clintons to promote the Democratic National Committee platform and its candidates for the November elections while also supporting the campaign of Honest Joe Biden.”

This can and should be condensed to, “That is what the Democrat Party does when it employs the Obamas and Clintons to promote its candidates, including Honest Joe Biden.” Brevity is a virtue.

  27. BL says:

Set everything else aside and consider the relationship of each POTUS to the sovereign.

The terminology I use is that they fall somewhere on the spectrum from figurehead to real POTUS.

Obama and Trump are opposites in this respect. Obama took office having gifted the national security state a globally appealing front-man. While he had campaigned and started his presidency looking like he wanted to use his power to move the needle in the right direction, he was quickly snapped like a butter bean, retreating into the presidential safe space offered, at least up until that point, to a POTUS that accepted the constrained role to which the American presidency had been consigned in the modern era.

There were signs almost immediately with Obama. After decisively winning election and becoming our first black president, he was house-trained early on over a single comment defending his Harvard professor friend after a silly arrest.

Does anyone other than me even remember this incident? Or how it completely emasculated the new POTUS, with him retreating behind a teleprompter for everything other than occasional unscripted remarks that, if unwittingly notable or problematic, were quickly corrected by some handler.

Now consider Trump. Both as candidate and POTUS he’s Obama’s opposite. Where Obama had the establishment wind at his back, writ large those same forces tried to destroy Trump’s candidacy and presidency.

Rather than belabor any particulars I’ll just note that the psychological driver for the ruling and governing classes, regardless of their ideological and programmatic preferences, is boundless resentment toward him.

After all, it isn’t an overstatement to note that more than any other president, Trump got there on his own, with a near complete array of establishment forces, domestic and foreign, against him, including his own party.

Who would have thought such a thing possible before Trump did it?

Little has changed since 2016. We’re in our current moment because destroying Trump remains as close to a dues ex machina as any of us have or will see in our lifetimes. There are real, monumental interests at stake but when you get right down to it most personalities in the ruling and governing classes — who to a one grew up with mama telling them they should be POTUS someday, need him gone so they can go back to feeling better about themselves.

You have unrealistic expectations of what any U.S. President can accomplish. Trump is not an Emperor or Ayatollah. That means he has to work within the system of U.S. governance. He does not have unilateral power.

To obtain Senate confirmation of judges and other appointees he has to placate some truly awful people, such as Mitt Romney. Some personnel selections that appear to be made by the President are actually part of package deals where key Senators get to pick their names. That is why certain parts of the administration are out of touch with Trump’s agenda.

Trump has been 100% successful preventing NeoConDemocrats from starting new wars. Unwinding the messes he inherited from prior administrations is much more complicated.

Hopefully Trump’s now inevitable second term will include a friendlier Senate. That will help him get more done than his first term which was impeded by the ObamaGate deception.

I will have a party when the Fed Gov disappears like fart gas. The end of the US of A empire is within sight as the dollar keeps declining in importance and the whole world is sick of the sanctions and bullying.

So, Yes, I’m in favor of ending the Constitution as it has shown to be a useless piece of paper except to deceive those that think it’s worth something. Yes, I’m in favor of getting rid of the criminals in DC including the asshat president, all of congress and the absolutely useless supreme court. I’m in favor of 50 new countries once the empire expires offering 50 experiments on how to govern and let the best idea win.

Hatred can be a double edged sword. The killing of Anwar Al-Awlaki can be justified to some extent, but under rule of law it was murder as he was an American citizen. The killing of his son, 15 or 16 yrs old was even more so. This has set a precedent and after Solamani’s murder, America has demonstrated it does not give much credence to either domestic or international law.

I’m not sure whether this is due to stupidity, laziness, or sociopathic levels of grandiosity. The trade restrictions are increased tariff costs paid for by the American people.

China mines rare earth’s because the US Fed Gov made it impossible in the US. They also make it impossible to construct experimental Thorium reactors on any meaningful scale and is why China is in the lead on a technology the US invented thanks to Alvin Weinberg who has the patents on the current light water reactor and Thorium MSR’s. It’s a self inflicted wound, not China’s fault.

The US was caught planting chips in telecom equipment that went undiscovered for years until Germany noticed it and blew the whistle. Pot calling the kettle black.

US industrialists voluntarily moved manufacturing out of the country. The Chinese were eager to comply to get access to the processes involved. The Chinese didn’t have to steal anything, as the US corporations voluntarily gave them the tech as part of the deal to be in China. The reason to move out of the US is due to the high labor rate and regulations costs. Those costs are high because the Fed Gov that you apparently like is sucking the life out of the population with high taxes, an oversize and out of control military and intelligence services, a financial sector that repeatedly rapes the country and gets away with it, etc, etc, etc.

However, I was shocked to learn that Trump’s people came into the White House, apparently without ever going through the Plum Book making lists of whom to get rid of and who would replace them.

Trump was hamstrung by the “Vacancies Act”, which requires replacing a corrupt official with one of his corrupt subordinates. Obama further complicated the problem by converting some of his political appointees into “civil service”.

Admittedly, Trump has made some tragic errors. For example, Jeff “Recusal” Sessions was a disastrous choice for AG. Someone with a backbone would have blocked the Special Counsel deception before it started.

In the following years I’ve been shocked again and again to observe Trump’s ignorance of government and politics and, even more disturbing, his apparent unwillingness to recover and learn from his mistakes.

He has recovered and learned. Not only is Jeff “Recusal” Sessions no longer AG, he cut the traitor off at the knees in his Senate bid.

Again, he is still stuck putting some very poor Senate choices into positions of authority. He is not making willful mistakes. He is being occasionally cornered by GOP(e) opposition he can not fully rout.

Also, many of his apparent mistakes are not mistakes at all.

The Fake Stream Media [FSM] exists to misrepresent him. There is a huge amount of gamesmanship in the tweet storm, where he says things to provoke the media herd into a frenzied stampede that serves his larger purpose.

Was tweeting about an election delay a mistake?

No. It was clever FSM manipulation. Their stampede to elections must happen on time leaves them stuck where they cannot deliver the desired SJW Globalist DNC fiction. If WUHAN-19 does not warrant a delay, it certainly does not warrant insecure fraud-by-mail balloting.

It is unfortunate that the Fake Stream Media and DNC believe that Leni Riefenstahl and George Orwell produced manuals that should be followed. As long as the opposition is this openly evil, patriots like Trump have a difficult mountain to climb.

Between Aug 9 and Aug 15, 1945, Rabbi Stephen Wise wrote from London to his children (dau. Justine and son James Waterman Wise):

He’s a fine, able man and has grand and spacious ideas on the Nuremberg trials in mid-October, with Weizmann, Goldmann or SSW [Stephen S. Wise] as Jewish witnesses to present the Jewish Case — not permitted as Amicus Curiae!

In itself it becomes the greatest trial in history, with what Jackson calls its broad departure from Anglo-Saxon legal tradition. Retroactively “aggressive war-making” becomes criminally punishable– with membership in the Gestapo prima facie proof of criminal participation. He seems to think very well of Felix Frankfurter and glorifies Ben Cardozo and Brandeis.”

The Personal Letters of Stephen Wise, ed. by Justine Wise Polier and James Waterman Wise. c. 1956, p. 268.

“jus sayin” Nuremberg was pre-ordained as a kangaroo court, devoid of “Anglo-Saxon” legitimacy, with the connivance of Rabbi Stephen Wise who, together with a handful of other Jews, are responsible for provoking war and propagandizing the American people & their leaders to engage in war with the, once again, pre-ordained goal of destroying Germany and the German people.

“The book provides a way for even informed readers to better appreciate the origins, evolution, and extent to which Israel has driven a process by which the United States and other countries have systematically destroyed Israel’s enemies, at no cost to itself. As we have torn up or assailed a long list of countries — only Iran has not yet been openly attacked.”

Overall an astute assessment. So far as my research has taken me, Obama’s mama was CIA and was heavily involved in the taking down of Sukarno’s government in Indonesia and the concurrent massacre by military and Islamist elements of over half a million leftists–primarily Chinese by descent. Don’t know much about the Kenyan who sired him, but much like Wee Willie Klitclincher, Obama’s ascent to the heights had been well paved and thoroughly greased in advance–signs of a MADE MAN.

Clinton, of unknown but highly speculative paternity, was chosen by the Tavistock Institute and/or Chatham House for entree’ into the Rhodes Scholarship indoctrination program at Oxford. One reason the Deep \$tate went all in on demonizing Roger Stone (he could do that quite well by himself, thank you) was because he tattled on a couple of young women who toiled on their beds at the governor’s mansion in Little Cock and told the tale about his pretzeldick, allegedly a wee wounded weenie (little wonder he prefers them young and green)–along, of course, with well-trained Rabbi’s daughters clad in blue dresses.

Back to Obaminable: There was a buzz going round the net a few years back that he and his handler, Rahm Emanuel, were regulars at a somewhat “insider” bath-house in not so shy-town, closely prior to his nomination for State Senate in Ill-Noise. More of that silly rumor was that he enjoyed being “worshipped” by older white guys. Barack’s ascent to “holy” glory was also quite amazing, Grace. From the Statehouse to the White House was an easy ascent for this faux Afro-American, who was NOT descended from West African slaves and who happened to be exactly the smooth, articulate faceman which the shotcallers running the Deep \$tate tend to prefer as their podium images.

The failure of the Wicked Witch of the West to achieve her 2017 coronation was a total shock to the system for the DNC, FBI, CIA, Chew Pork Slymes and other major institutional minions for the ruling plutocratic oligarchy. Even before Trump’s Inauguration, they set out to destroy his presidency. After all, it had been decreed from on high that our ruptured republic would be blessed by our first female (more or less) chief executive and that she would be totally on-message and not some small (d) Democrat the likes of Tulsi Gabbard–an irrepressible anti-imperialist.

    ‘similar ilk, eh?

And if they droned David Duke tomorrow, how many media pundits and politicians (of every stripe – Eric Trump said Duke “deserves a bullet”) would be frothing over who’s going to shed a tear for a racist like Duke- or anyone of his ilk?

When you start dehumanizing citizens based on your ideological whims, that can easily go in both directions. You’re the kind of ‘American’ that permits an abomination like Gitmo to continue to stain our collective soul. Here’s a great scene from when they used to make great movies.

And as for Anwar Al-Awlaki being a terrorist, I understand he was a Yemeni, and was assassinated while in Yemen. Yemen, as we all know is a nation under murderous siege by the aggressive terrorist state of Saudi Arabia (and I don’t mean 9/11) and the ZUSA. Anyone with a shred of brains or decency knows that the Saudis (and the Americans as always) are the bad guys. So he was likely an heroic man, fighting the good struggle against the fiend on the world stage- bombing and mass-murdering and displacing millions, while drone-assassinating the best men from the most menaced nations, like Iran’s beloved general recently.

As long as the ZUS is a murderous goon, bombing and savaging anyone who looks cross eyed at terrorist states Israel or Saudi Arabia , it takes some pretty rancid balls to call those defending their nations from an illegal aggressor, ‘terrorists’.

What, if not massive and collective terror, is the murder by drone of villagers and leaders? When their children look at the sky, they don’t see wonder and beauty, but terror of an arbitrary death.

The only thing we Americans should be feeling these days, is an excruciating shame for the mass-murder and nation destructions our government has perpetrated in our name.

I guess you missed the numerous exchanges I had with folks on this list concerning the US military in another thread. Let me briefly recap. I told the US Fed Gov to F O when they tried to draft me for Vietnam. I’m no ones fool; not Biden’s or Trump’s.

We should not end wind and solar (I’m an EE) but augment it with MSR’s, LFTR’s in particular. Wind should be limited to the oceans where the winds are more consistent and solar belongs on almost every building roof. What remains as demand should be supplied by safe nuclear – Thorium reactors. The US has enough Thorium in buried barrels in the Nevada desert to supply the whole country’s needs for over a century.

I will continue my voting inaction as I’m a US citizen turned expat for the last 16 years due primarily because I see no future in pissing into the wind in US elections. YMMV.

  97. OK, now to be serious. This article and most of the responses to it thus far, however erudite and with good intention seem to have fallen into a trap before they realized it was a trap namely that everything depends on the result of Dems vs Repubs version 2020. Will Mr. Giraldi write an article to show how it makes even in the slightest way a difference who is the President at this late stage ( or any stage) of decay in the US? I know he knows better to especially on this site. So has he really shed his roots?

I have recently entered into cash bets with almost all of my friends of all dispositions and mental acuity on the prospect of Trump being re-elected. They think that I am crazy. I may be but not on this topic. They are all infected with a mental disease called “normiesm”. It is immensely frustrating for me to put any kind of ‘out of the box’ thinking into conversations regarding Trump because they react like women going through hormonal flushes. All verbal reactions seemingly in lockstep.

So with the monetary challenges shoved in their faces they all seemed to pause briefly to wonder if it was decent to take money from a fool such as I. After a few profanities and insults as to their inter-cranial pressure from me they gladly accepted to a one and some doubled down.

Taking their money, as I will, is the only way that they can be brought to bear to hear me out about my logic. Funny, but it always seems to come down to money.

Now lookie here. What have we had since the Trump inauguration? Four years of 24/7/365 vilification, right versus left, grabbing P*****, Putin, Stormy Daniels, impeachment (a 24 hour respite when he sent 77 missiles into Syria) and then back to 24/7 of Trump foibles.

Do you see what is/was happening? TDS was the precursor of Covid. And like a charm it worked and still works. Divide and conquer, bread and circuses rolled onto one tasty bagel. Look around you. Would you recognize main-street 4 months ago? I would not. Why would the PTB want to remove Trump? He is a major cog in their satanic wheel whether he knows it or not.

So with the powerful combination of TDS, COVID, BLM and antifa backed by MSM effectively scaring the normies from even uttering a peep , I would say that things are going swimmingly in some power’s interests.

Mr Giraldi, “New Dummies, Same Ventriloquist” should be your next article for the sake of your own credibility not digging up another corpse (living or not) like that of of Madeleine Halfbright.

Alden: During the time of the Constitutional Convention, Jefferson was smoothly kept out of the scene as he had been appointed Ambassador to France. From his station in Paris we kept up quite a correspondence. In one of his letters he warned that the way the court system was set up constituted an irruption of a monarchical principle in what was intended to be a republic.

Some years later, during the scut-end of his Federalist administration, John Adams did him a dirty last minute deed by appointing the arch-Federalist, John Marshall as Chief Justice of the S. Ct. Marshall quickly showed his true colors with his Marbury v. Madison decision where he insisted that the court had the power to overturn legislation passed by both houses and signed by the president. Ironically, this occurred during Jefferson’s administration. But as Leo the Lip Durocher insisted, “nice guys finish last.”

Jefferson should have had his fellow Virginian arrested and imprisoned for overstepping his constitutional powers. Didn’t happen. Marshall (the darling of the Kavanaugh-cloned Federalist Society of statist lawyers) had set a bad precedent, much to the dismay of the president and all freedom-loving elements of WE THE PEOPLE. The very root concept of small (r) republicanism, that of popular sovereignty ,was promptly derailed by that closet monarchist.

Well, at least his fellow Federalist (and London bankster tool) Alexander Hamilton got his just desserts.

False. But Giraldi knows most readers won’t know the truth. It wasn’t “western looting,” it was looting by a group inside Russia, “the oligarchs”. Eight out of the twelve were Jews, among them the top oligarch, Berezovsky.

Philip Giraldi also doesn’t mention that Madeleine Albright is a Jew. It’s as if her lust for war springs from being pro-American to a fault. Right? Except it’s all about destroying Israel’s targets, the few Middle Eastern and Central Asian nations that support the Palestinians. And Russia, for giving some support to pro-Palestinian Iran and Syria. The Israeli Lobby always gets what it wants.

Both in Russia and in the Middle East it’s about race, not “the West”. Of course, ask a communist like “Eric Striker” who writes for Unz Review, and he’ll do everything he can to make you believe it’s “the Right,” “capitalists,” “the West” who are behind it all, while conveniently forgetting the Left’s domination of media, universities and politics. Both Israel AND Hezbollah deny devastating Lebanon blasts were a rocket attack

“In a statement issued immediately following the blasts, the IDF has denied responsibility for the explosions. Israeli government officials had previously accused Hezbollah of using the Beirut port to transport weapons, and while no proof has been produced to back these allegations, accounts friendly to the Israeli military quickly swarmed Twitter to revive them.”

The websayanim are not just spamming twitter, as the a123 troll above shows.

The “blame Hezbollah” spam was fast getting posted and is quite widespread:

“Human Rights Watch’s Ken Roth also signed on to the “blame Hezbollah” camp, suggesting – absent a shred of evidence – that the explosions were “Hezbollah’s way of saying don’t mess with us for allegedly killing former Lebanese PM Hariri” before hurriedly deleting his tweet.”

    Ben Norton
Billionaire-funded regime-change lobby group “Human Rights Watch” is a total fraud. Its executive director @KenRoth just tried to blame the explosion in Beirut, Lebanon on Hezbollah, WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCE AT ALL. Not a shred.

    Then he deleted the tweet”

And not surprisingly, guess which israeli quisling also got the “blame Hezbollah” memo from zionazi, inc.

‘Terrible Attack’: Trump Says US Military Experts Believe Beirut Blast Result of ‘Bomb of Some Kind’

“It looks like a terrible attack.” When a reporter asked for clarification on the remark, Trump said, “it was a bomb of some kind.”

“It would seem like [an attack] based on the explosion. I’ve met with some of our great generals and they just seem to feel that it was. This was not some kind of a manufacturing explosion-type of event. This was seems to be, according to them, they would know better than I would, but they seem to think it was a attack,” he continued.”

While israeli quisling trump didn’t blame Hezbollah, it is obvious he is setting up the propaganda backstory to blame them in a day or two. He used the exact same strategy multiple times in the past when the zionazi-gays were falsely accusing others of atrocities (usually those they themselves set in motion).

The hasbara was spread quickly and obviously well organised. That means either they have these campaigns prepped in general beforehand with specifics filled in when a useable incident occurs or there was zionazi foreknowledge there would be a major explosion in Beirut. So far the Lebanese are saying there is no evidence of an attack, so we’ll have to wait and see if the zionazi-gays had foreknowledge and some role in causing the blast.

The choice between Trump and Biden (or whomever he is holding the place for) simply means that the system doesn’t work for the average person. Both are lairs, cheats, scoundrels, etc.

Why hasn’t Hillary been dealt with? Why does it take months to years of ‘investigation’ to expose the whole Ukraine Democrat money laundering scheme. Sorry, but the Justice Dept under Trump is as crooked as a dogs hind leg, as the saying goes. The political machine is protecting itself from exposure no matter which oaf is nominally in charge.

Biden is a life time crook. His kid is a crook. He worked for that crook Obama. He should be in jail along with his whole family.

There are no good choices, only the lesser of evils. I can’t, in good conscience say I approve of either one or the system in general by casting a vote. I made the mistake of voting once in my life (Ross Perot) and swore I’d never do that again; I’ve kept and will keep my promise.

From my perspective, neither is going to change the trajectory of the country in any meaningful way. With Dems in control, the end may come sooner as they would spend and make more ridiculous ‘laws’ than the Repubs might, but both suck.

Both parties are, and have been, strip mining the country for decades. Every politician of note is a millionaire at least and no one ever wonders how they got rich ‘serving the people’. I’m not gullible enough to believe that any politician is looking out for my interests because I know, absolutely know, they are only concerned with what they can get away with.

The end of the US empire is easily in sight as the world de-dollarizes. No one is going to ring a bell when the Dollar’s reserve currency status ends because ending it is a process not an event. As the dollar goes, so does the country.

I have zero hope for the US’s survival without a major war or internal conflict. The election is looking like the final event to unleash a massive wave of violence and then martial law.

Evident how Beirut was not bound by US-style safety regulations & did not have to report & secure the massive storage of ammonium nitrate (& exact fuel percentage) in the building.

Reports abound about a welder spark having supplied the deadly spark.

I’ll save my long comments about the nuking of Lebanon for an essay on the topic. The problem with the nitrate story is that it isn’t explosive by itself, it needs to be mixed with diesel. The OKC bombing could have been a bomb by FBI/ATF terrorists, and then blamed on the patsy McVeigh.

Thus comparing the two is incorrect, one is fertilizer in bags, the other is a truck with makeshift explosives. The fact the mocking bird media operating in “lockstep” parrots the cover story is suspicious in itself when you can see with your own eyes the nuke vapor sphere, shock wave over the water just like those H bomb tests is the Pacific Bikini atoll.

In this case if you are Israel and you want to find the rocket factory in Beirut, how do you do that? Set up a cargo ship with illegal ammonium nitrate, it gets seized and stored. Hesbollah underground rocket makers will surely be getting at this free supply of nitrate.

Also, another point, Israel which is using the stolen Davy Crockett warheads on a regular basis has denied that they have a nuke program. There is every reason to suspect Israel like this spray painted “GOOD BYE” (with a “Z” underneath for Zionist signature) in English on a concrete abutment:

  155. Watch closely the numerous clips of the explosion, the spherical vapor cloud and shock wave, then the characteristic nuke mushroom cloud of a tactical nuke. Believe your eyes people, not the MSM spin. Look at at the 5 kilometer blast damage. IT IS A NUKE. Israel denies it, so what. They could of had one of their lackeys in the USN done it.

YT: Beirut explosion ‘clearly’ bomb-making related

Remember Ammonium Nitrate will NOT explode by itself, it has to be mixed with fuel or other additives. Every modern farm has ammonium nitrate in the barn, it is not hazardous by itself.

  156. anon[161] • Disclaimer says:

“,,,,did not have to report & secure the massive storage of ammonium nitrate (& exact fuel percentage) in the building.”
Bungled, yes, but known and recorded in the court.

“That the ammonium nitrate was stored for seven years was not the responsibility of the port management but was caused by some judicial quarrel:

The head of Beirut port and the head of customs both said on Wednesday that several letters were sent to the judiciary asking for the dangerous material be removed, but no action was taken.
Port General Manager Hassan Koraytem told OTV the material had been put in a warehouse on a court order, adding that they knew then the material was dangerous but “not to this degree”.

“We requested that it be re-exported but that did not happen. We leave it to the experts and those concerned to determine why,” Badri Daher, director general of Lebanese Customs, told broadcaster LBCI.

Two documents seen by Reuters showed Lebanese Customs had asked the judiciary in 2016 and 2017 to request that the “concerned maritime agency” re-export or approve the sale of the ammonium nitrate, which had been removed from cargo vessel Rhosus and deposited in warehouse 12, to ensure port safety.”

  157. @Robjil

I\$rael did it, is the conclusion of Richard Silverstein, writing in Global today. He claims sources in the Zionist state for his information. His take is that one of their insertion teams targeted a Hezbollah arms depot. It was located close to an ammonium nitrate warehouse. Whether the Zionists were aware of that fact, didn’t care, or did it in full knowledge of possibilities, he did not speculate.

Also pointing at the I\$raelis in an essay on the same site, Stephen Lendman of Chicago, one of those rare, but wonderful noble Jews; did not enjoy any inside information and did not address that possibility in his initial paragraphs, but pointed pointedly in that direction later in his text. Both essays are well worth reading–monumentally superior to what you will encounter in the mass media of hypnotic mind-control.

In addition to your reply, I might add that there is no logical reason to suppose the Lebanese government would provide any political cover to the Israelis. Support of Israel in Lebanon is treason, punishable by law. Forbidden to visit Israel. Forbidden for media to write anything positive about Israel. It used to be Ford cars and Coke Cola were forbidden because they sold in Israel. It’s how Hezbollah is allowed to flourish, remain a state within a state complete with it’s own army. It is considered “resistance” to Israel. So I don’t see any reason for the Lebanese government to lie about an Israeli attack. Daily violations of Lebanese airspace by Israeli military has been going on for 50 years that I’m personally aware of, etc.

The two-party system consists of a pair of tentacles from the same Bank\$ter-cabal. My most recent presidential vote was for Ralph Nader. Last time I chose one of the party candidates was in 1968, when micro-politics still seemed to be reality. Since that time, the transition has evolved from macro-politics, through mega-politics and ultimately coming to a theoretical basis for meta-political warfare.

Most folks who post here regularly are fully conversant with the identity of the enemies of WE THE PEOPLE. As you point out, though, in your coda, the probability factor favors the likelihood of the programming of the micro-politicized masses of the American \$heeple succeeding in expanding the growing gap within the populace into a yawning chasm.

It’s not unheard of for ammonium nitrate to explode en mass by accident. Look up the Texas City disaster.

The 1947 Texas City disaster was an industrial accident that occurred on April 16, 1947, in the Port of Texas City, Texas, at Galveston Bay. It was the deadliest industrial accident in U.S. history, and one of history’s largest non-nuclear explosions. A mid-morning fire started on board the French-registered vessel SS Grandcamp (docked in the port), and detonated her cargo of about 2,300 tons (about 2,086 metric tons) of ammonium nitrate.[1] This started a chain reaction of fires and explosions in other ships and nearby oil-storage facilities, ultimately killing at least 581 people, including all but one member of the Texas City fire department.[2]

I have my doubts about Trump ending up as the R candidate. I think he may not want the job any longer, seeing as how he’s been treated by both mafia parties and near 100% of the media. He’s old enough to want to enjoy his wealth without the hassle of the political circus. We’ll see.

The fact that he’s surrounded himself, time and time again, with some of the worst cretins imaginable and the revolving door they’ve walked through doesn’t instill confidence in his leadership or even his thought processes. He may have wanted to do the right thing in the beginning, but I suspect someone reminded him of JFK or showed him the evidence they have assembled to ruin him to get him to function as the figurehead he clearly is. Take away his Twitter account and he becomes completely invisible. It’s as though he’s been completely neutered and is just going through the motions of being the President.

And who elected the rest of his family to function in the gov’t? That Jared Kushner character has to be Mossad or some other form of Israeli plant. The fact that Trump and Biden both have declared their fealty to Israel is disgusting. Take your pick, either way Israel wins the election along with the rest of the deep state.

With all the currency printing going on and now that UBI has been established, the death of the dollar is guaranteed, and real soon. Once price inflation hits for necessities or when a significant portion of the population feels cheated out of the lives they were accustomed to due to the gov’t mandated effects attributable to the phony pandemic, there’s going to be repercussions. I just don’t see tens of millions of people being deprived of their futures and remaining docile. There are millions of weapons in private hands and I suspect they are going to be used to redress grievances. I see a very bleak immediate future.

They’re doing all they can to foment a civil war kind of divide. Not sure why, except that they’re tying anything they can in their desperate imperative to be rid of Trump.

That Biden will be just as slavish (or more) than Trump vis-a-vis Israel is a no-brainer.

The House, under ‘wokeness’ has never even heard of Guantanamo Bay detention (torture) camp. Where innocent brown men are tortured for opposing America’s illegal occupation of their lands.

I did a search for Ilhan Omar + Guantanamo Bay, and apparently, she’s never so much as mentioned the place. Where Muslims, and only Muslims are tortured. If you’re bored, do a search for Guantanamo Bay + rehydration, to see what they do to men who try to starve themselves to death.

For the forces of ‘wokeness’, that’s not a problem. So if anyone thinks the Palestinians are going to fare better under the Dems, then there’s just zero evidence that such would be the case, especially as Obama was a notorious mass-murdering war monger and zio-schvartze, who tried to destroy Syria as cravenly as he destroyed Libya.

No, the iron claw of zion clamps into both sides of the isle.

So the only outcome of the election will be the “growing gap within the populace into a yawning chasm.” IOW, will rural America groan under the vicious comeuppance they’re going to get bludgeoned with by ‘wokeness’?

I anticipate The George Floyd act of 2021, whereupon all white males from 8 to 80 must register with the federal government as domestic terrorists and report to diversity training camps.

Or- will we at least get to re-live the experience of existential evisceration of the progressive, woke left like we did on election night, 2016.

I’d like to see Hillary have a ruptured brain aneurysm. Yes, I said that out loud. In fact, the only reason I wouldn’t want that to happen, is I really, really want her to face the fact of four more years, with all that could entail! Even if she’s never indicted, just her living out her dowager years, when she was supposed! to be president, with Trump mocking her, and us basket of deplorables laughing at her, and taking great pleasure in her meltdown, wanting power like no human has ever coveted power, and being denied.. it a sublime gift that keeps giving and giving. So yea, nix the aneurysm, and just give us unfathomable despair. I’ll settle for that.

We don’t know if Trump will go full-blown zio and start bombing Iran in his second term, or do an about-face, and start indicting all the treasonous scum who tried to remove a sitting president.

Imagine Brenan in the dock, next to Comey and Clapper.

I mean come on.. how excellent would that be?!

2006, I read Nir Rosen’s great book, “In the Belly of the Green Bird; The Triumph of the Martyrs in Iraq.”

    Salam brother,

The title is a reference to the Islamic idea that martyrs’ souls are flown to heaven in the belly of a green bird,

I started to laugh and roll-off, with the above stupid quote about “green bird”. I am sixty eight and this is the first time I am hearing this.

Since liberation the concept has been to divide and rule. In Syria, the Alawites were put in control over vast population of Sunni. Both Shia and Sunni consider Alawites to be infidels. Erdogan who is Sufi Sunni is a lover of Imam Ali, just like rest of Sufi. He used to tell Assad that if Alawites means, lovers of Ali, I am a lover of Ali too, but I pray (salat), fast and so forth. It was Khomeini who issued fatwa to Shia not to call the Alawites, “kaffir”

Iraq was the opposite, it majority of the population is Shia. Imam Ali (first Imam) the first cousin and son-in-law of the Prophet moved the capital of Muslims from KSA to Iraq. Shia who are often refereed to 12ers, because they believe in twelve Imams after the demise of the Prophet. Twelfth Imam is still living, so out of eleven martyred Imams, six are buried in Iraq, in every corner of Iraq, including the first Imam Ali who is buried in Najaf. Iraq is a defacto capital of Shia. The Brits there put minority Sunni in-charge of majority Shia.

Imam Hussein, who is the third Imam is the grandson of the Prophet, butchered in Karbala, Iraq including with the rest of the Prophet’s family, so he is buried there. Basically, war crimes were committed by Muslims against the Prophet’s family, fifty years later after the demise of the Prophet. Kudos to Muslims! The event took place on 10th of Muharram, the next month is Saffar. Basically, the forty (Arbaeen) of grieving falls on 20th Saffar, and it is also called, “Arbaeen’

The Hajj can accommodate 4 million pilgrimages. The Arbaeen accommodates 22 million pilgrimages, where the people all around the Iraq, including Syria, Iran, Jordan, Turkey, KSA and surrounding countries, walk on foot as far as 400 or more miles, to meet in Karbala, Iraq on the day of Arbaeen. Read the following 2014 article at least 3 times, very, very carefully. God bless the Dubya.

One part of the pilgrimage which will leave every visitor perplexed is the sight of thousands of tents with makeshift kitchens set up by local villagers who live around the pilgrims’ path. The tents (called ‘mawkeb’) are places where pilgrims get practically everything they need. From fresh meals to eat and a space to rest, to free international phone calls to assure concerned relatives, to baby diapers, to practically every other amenity, free of charge. In fact, pilgrims do not need to carry anything on the 400 mile journey except the clothes they wear.

There’s another peculiar feature of Arbaeen. While it is a distinctively Shia spiritual exercise, Sunnis, even Christians, Yazidis, Zoroastrians, and Sabians partake in both the pilgrimage as well as serving of devotees. This is remarkable given the exclusive nature of religious rituals, and it could only mean one thing: people regardless of color or creed see Hussein as a universal, borderless, and meta-religious symbol of freedom and compassion.

I think Trump has been sidelined intentionally. He’s been told to go play in the corner and let the deep state continue screwing the country, or else.

The man did manage to have large structures built and that did require delegating authority, so he must have some experience doing that. The fact that he’s now ineffective, I think, speaks to him not being allowed to be President in function, just President in name only.

That’s also why I think he may just announce he isn’t running in the coming election. I think he’d be foolish to continue taking the abuse he’s survived till now. If he runs and wins a second term, then my theory about him being shunted aside would be wrong. I’d be wondering then what he was doing for the previous 4 years besides Tweeting and signing BS executive orders. The man has accomplished next to nothing.

If he’s around for a second term, that’s when he would go for blood for those that obstructed him. He has a take no prisoners reputation and being vindictive to the extreme, so if he’s President for another 4 years, he’d go for scalps but he’d need a team loyal to him with the know how to hang the upper tier of the Democrat party and also the RINO’s. If those team members existed anywhere, he’d already have them on board, so I’m not that optimistic on that prospect.

Very true! Transfiguration of Prince of Peace Jesus (as) and at the same time another evil Hiroshima.

The tenth in Arabic is called, Ashura. Another beautiful article dated August 03, 2020 on Saker’s blog.

Every Day is Ashura, Every Land is Karbala:

During the early days of the Iranian revolution, Imam Khomeini explained in one of his speeches,

“This expression, ‘Every Day is Ashura, Every Land is Karbala,’ is a really important expression but many misunderstand it. They think it means we should mourn and cry every day. But its true meaning is something quite different. What did Karbala do? What role did the land of Karbala play on the day of Ashura? A handful of people came to Karbala and stood up against the injustices of Yazid. They stood against a tyrant ruler and an emperor of their time. They sacrificed themselves and they got killed but they did not accept the injustice and defeated Yazid. Every place must be like this and every day must also be like this. Every day, our nation must reach this realization that today is Ashura and we must stand up against the injustice. And this very place is Karbala and we must make this place, right here, a Karbala. It is not restricted to one land. It is not restricted to one specific person. The story of Karbala is not restricted to a group of seventy some people and a land of Karbala. All lands must play this role. And all days must play the same role.”

The parasites you speak of are almost all Americans. The corporations decided to off shore their manufacturing and even their R&D in cases. The Chinese, Mexicans, etc were the recipients of a technology transfer that was initiated by US corporations. Being able to tap the foreign consumer markets was a bonus.

The corporations did what was in their best interests when viewed from a competition perspective. The first widget manufacturer that reduced his cost of goods by moving off shore almost forced his competition to do likewise or lose market share due to price competition. Once that cycle started there was a rush to not get left behind and grab as much of that cheaper labor and lack of regulatory costs as possible.

I can’t blame the corporations for doing this. It’s compete or fail and they chose to compete for the most part, hollowing out the US in the process. They reacted to market forces heavily influenced by US Fed Gov policy.

I’m of the opinion that the entire Fed Gov has long past it’s sell by date. It is no longer necessary and the states should get rid of that cost structure. That would reduce all costs across the board and would make the US price competitive with other parts of the world. Corporations would then see the US as a reasonable labor cost market and would be incentivized to bring manufacturing back. It’s all about the bottom line when it comes to making decisions on where to put investments and the Fed Gov is too high a cost for any benefit it may offer. The market, I believe, agrees with me because the decisions made by individual corporations all point in the same general direction – get out of Dodge.

However, one time I saw a comment by a Wahhabi that the shahid (martyrs) are hanging as tiny birds from Allah’s Throne. The Shia don’t take things literally, and they believe Allah has no body, shape, form, image and so forth. Since there is no body, therefore the Throne is not literal. If you read my post #181 between the lines, there is no sectarianism in Iraq. Six of eleven Imams are buried in Iraq, and they are scattered all over Iraq, so the Iraqi Sunni are like Shia, as there is the majority of Shia allover Iraq. Read my post #181 and follow the article I have linked, you will understand what I mean that there is no sectarianism in Iraq. It is invented!

Hadiths (Traditions) have two portions, the text of the hadith and the chain of narrators (250 years later). The majority Muslims have six True (authenticated) books of hadiths (each book is a very large voluminous). These were written down 250 years later by six individuals who guaranteed their authenticity and no one questions the truthfulness of the hadiths in those six books, including some more voluminous books by other authors beside the six authors. The chain of narrators takes precedent over the text of hadith, even if it contradicts the Quran, it is considered True hadith. Also, the belief that a Shahabi (meaning a Muslim who met the Prophet) can’t lie about narrating the hadiths, even though the Shahabis are liars, murderers, rapists and so forth they will dare not to commit the sin of narrating a false hadith. One of the biggest narrator is the so called, “child wife” whom the Quran calls a liar and destined for hell. She can lie to Prophet, but she can’t dare to lie while narrating the Prophet’s hadiths.

Not every Muslims is aware of these more than 100,000 (guesstimate) True hadiths. Most of them are contradictory to each other, and are very demeaning to the Prophet. Two such examples, Prophet married a child and when he found out that he was a chosen Prophet, he tried to commit suicides many times. These two narrations are not from the Prophet, but from the so called, “child bride”.

The minority (Shia) use a different method. The first criteria is that the text of the hadiths must agree with Quran. If it doesn’t then throw the hadith on the wall. Then the chain of narrators should be truthful, including the first narrator meaning the Shahabi must be truthful. If the Shahabi is murderer, then his/her narrations of hadiths have no value. Then a third criteria the hadiths are not authenticated for truthfulness. So, the Shia hadiths books are different. Each and every hadiths is be looked at by the individuals for him/her to make the decision for the truthfulness of the hadiths.

Hope this is helpful and best regards,

Maybe you should “thank” Nir Rosen for the free education?

    Salam brother,

I assume, the quote of “green bird” is in regards to shahids (martyrs). The definition of shahids (martyrs) in Islamic sense differs from minority sect which Hassan Nasrallah belongs to. And, the majority sect.

According to minority sect, the fatwa for religious war for defense purposes can only be given by the Prophet and/or his 12 Imams. The last 12th Imam is in hiding, and he only can give this fatwa if needed, when he reappears. So, all those Hezbollah fighters are not shahids (martyrs) in Islamic sense. They are shahids (martyrs) defending their country and/or homes.

In majority sect any scholar can give this fatwa. During Iran/Iraq war the Ruhollah Khomeini didn’t have the authority to issue this fatwa, so he never did. However, Saddam Hussein in Iraq had lots of scholars to give this fatwa for him, which put him in advantage in comparison to Ruhollah Khomeini.

According to Quran the rewards for those who die in the way of Allah is as follows:

Think not of those who are slain in Allah’s way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord; They rejoice in the bounty provided by Allah. And with regard to those left behind, who have not yet joined them (in their bliss), the (Martyrs) glory in the fact that on them is no fear, nor have they (cause to) grieve.

LOL, I am aware of Nir Rosen, so when I read the title of his book “In the Belly of the Green Bird”, I let my imagination run wild and started seeing giant green birds. However, one time I saw a comment by a Wahhabi that the shahid (martyrs) are hanging as tiny birds from Allah’s Throne.

On the onset of the Prophet’s death, the Caliphs in power fought aggressive offensive war to increase the borders of their Empires and in return to increase their Mammon. These offensive (not defensive) wars were not fought in the way of Allah as Prophet was not there to issue the fatwa. However, the first Imam Ali was there but he never issued this fatwa. So, the Muslims who died in those wars are not considered shahids (martyrs) according to the minority sect. They could be considered as killers.

To issue a fatwa to fight in the way of Allah is not child’s play as wars are evil. Even Ruhollah Khomeini didn’t have this authority to issue such a fatwa in Iran/Iraq war. He defended his country and the homes of the people in Iran, against Saddam Hussein aggression. This put him in disadvantage as Saddam Hussein had many scholars to issue this fatwa in his favor.

    Best regards,

To the best of my knowledge, it was successfully tried for centuries in what is now Iceland

Unless you are referring to the Irish monks that pre-dated Norwegian settlement in 874, I don’t think so. Their National Parliament (Althing) was established in 930, and there were 4 regional bodies predating that. While Norway had some influence between 930 and its takeover around 1260, the “Old Commonwealth” as it was known, was independent. During that time they developed laws which were recorded in a book called Grágás (Grey goose). The foreward in Grágás contains the phrase “Með lögum skal land byggja” – with laws shall the land be built. That phrase is still touted today.
Iceland was passed around for a couple of centuries while Norway, Sweden, and Denmark united then disunited, and ended up as Danish possession (as did the Faroe Islands and Greenland) until it became self governing during WWI and then declared independence during British and American occupation of WWII.
Iceland and Icelanders may be chaotic from time to time as well as quite liberal. However, as they are, and have been for centuries, virtually all related in some way shape or form anarchy would be a no no. Lots of co-operatives and community backed projects, i.e. socialism, but not anarchy,

I think you had better reconsider.

The late Jude Wanniski of Reaganomics fame vehemently opposed the Clinton crowd going in to re-structure the Russian economy arguing that it had to be organic and gradual.

While the oligarchs were, indeed, primarily Jewish, they were merely front men for the vulture capitalists of the West. Even at the fire sale prices for state assets, the oligarchs did not have capital of their own, and had were financed by the (((West))) by backroom dealings.

As an aside, both Wanniski and Paul Craig Roberts maintain that their trickle down model for Reaganomics was never implemented.

  199. @Curmudgeon

I stumbled across some site that gave the history of some anarchic settlements and they probably were very old. Anarchy as a political philosophy is hated by all governments (duh!) and they use their schools to propagandize it so that almost no one is interested in it. That’s really a shame because it limits thought.

Cartoons, when I was a child, showed Boris Bedenov tossing a round bomb and the language itself has been contorted to associate the most peaceful political philosophy with the direct opposite. People should investigate it and then make up their own minds. The standard canard – it’s never been tried – is the obvious result of ignorance, not stupidity, but ignorance of what it actually represents. People have formed a concrete opinion on something they have never seriously investigated.

There’s a Jimmy Buffett song where a part of the lyrics says ‘we are the people our parents warned us about’. Using that as a starting point, gov’t is the criminal organization they keep telling us they are protecting us from.

Governments murdered 200 million people in the 20th century.
Governments instituted fiat currency and central banking to guarantee a reduced purchasing power throughout ones life on any money someone manages to save.
Government steals from the population and calls it taxes.
    etc, etc, etc.

With friends like the gov’t, one doesn’t need an enemy. Government is the largest and most successful criminal conspiracy of all time. The second would be organized religion. Both are sacred to people that view them as something as natural and essential as the sun rising in the morning. Both are not questioned by most people.

Anarchists did not try to carry out genocide against the Armenians in Turkey; they did not deliberately starve millions of Ukrainians; they did not create a system of death camps to kill Jews, gypsies, and Slavs in Europe; they did not fire-bomb scores of large German and Japanese cities and drop nuclear bombs on two of them; they did not carry out a ‘Great Leap Forward’ that killed scores of millions of Chinese; they did not attempt to kill everybody with any appreciable education in Cambodia; they did not launch one aggressive war after another; they did not implement trade sanctions that killed perhaps 500,000 Iraqi children.
In debates between anarchists and statists, the burden of proof clearly should rest on those who place their trust in the state. Anarchy’s mayhem is wholly conjectural; the state’s mayhem is undeniably, factually horrendous.

I have never suggested that governments are pure. Any system without rules, written or otherwise, eventually end up as chaos. Governments in and of themselves are not the problem, it is the corksuckers who seek the power of government who are the problem. Those people create a different chaos over a longer period of time, and are usually more dangerous.
Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, a socialist from whom Marx stole many ideas and twisted them, has often been called the first anarchist. He referred to Marx as “the tapeworm in socialism”.

The one real problem I have with this piece is that it does not put “property” into context. “Property” is/are objects that are moveable. Stealing a car is a property crime. Land is Real Property. Otherwise, it’s pretty good.

    • Replies: @RadicalCenter

You are right, but nobody except lawyers calls land “real property.” Most people have never even heard the term.
