There is something quite scary about the way leading Democrats have persistently wrapped their attempts to control the American people in platitudes and self-righteous drivel. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, who are currently pulling their team together, are no different than the Clintons and Obamas who preceded them and are already on course to establish conformity by diminishing the fundamental rights that have been hitherto enjoyed by the American people.

The current war being waged against the United States and its constitution hinges on the expressed desire to extirpate “white supremacy” aka “white privilege” aka “systemic racism.” It is a convenient campaign slogan as it immediately creates guilt and apprehension in those white people who are foolish enough to believe it. It also is a vague enough term that it becomes possible to wrap a lot of other issues into it, like gun control, destruction of traditional education, reparations and affirmative action, and even de-policing urban areas. As minorities allegedly suffer disproportionately from coronavirus it might even be expanded to include mandatory national lockdowns every time a pandemic appears, as Biden has suggested in the past.

We are already seeing how some crimes are no longer crimes if they are committed by sanctimonious social justice warriors. Prosecutors in a number of states are dismissing charges against rioters because they have “concluded the protesters were exercising their basic civil rights.” It is generally being claimed that prosecutions continue for the “real” crimes of arson, looting and destruction of public property, but at least one liberal California District Attorney will not charge anyone who maintains that he or she was doing what they did to combat racism or feed their families. She calls it considering the “needs” of the looters. The looted shops that will as a result go out of business and whose employees become unemployed evidently have no “needs.”

The Democrats have long been adept at playing identity politics. They believe that appealing to a number of groups with grievances to create a voting majority is good for the country, which it is not, because sooner or later the ticket has to be paid for and deals that abridge the freedom of most Americans must be consummated. That will certainly take place with Biden and Harris.

And Biden and Harris will likely get away with much of their divisive domestic agenda, if only because it will be carefully hidden behind fear of the Coronavirus and of more civil unrest, but the one area where they will meet real resistance is the Second Amendment. One critic describes how “There is much overlap between Biden’s platform and Harris’s previous presidential campaign proposals. They both emphasize holding gun manufacturers accountable, enacting universal background checks, banning the manufacture and sale of semiautomatic rifles and higher-capacity magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds, [and] prohibiting those convicted of domestic violence from buying guns…” And that is only for starters, with national gun registration and some confiscation certainly being considered.

Many Republicans as well as Democrats own guns and will resist any attempt at registration, much less the seizure of certain types of firearms. The death by shooting numbers have indeed risen dramatically, particularly in urban areas, but the victims and perpetrators are largely black-on-black and the weapons used are obtained illegally. Ironically, the rise in crime is in large part attributable to Democratic Party pandering to movements like Black Lives Matter with their message that violence is acceptable to bring about change. To argue that somehow controlling the legal owners of weapons is a “safety measure” is a convenient fiction.

To help the Democratic Party agenda along there will also of necessity be restrictions on free speech. One can expect greater political control over the propagandistic state media like Voice of America and it is perhaps inevitable that already censorship-heavy social media and news sites will also be regulated for content. Biden has appointed as one of his transition team for “regulating” news reporting one Richard Stengel who has argued that there is a flaw in the First Amendment of the Constitution’s Bill of Rights. He believes that free speech cannot be allowed in some cases and that anything that constitutes a “hate speech” should be criminalized. Stengel explains somewhat confusingly “I’m all for protecting thought that we hate, but not speech that incites hate.” This is, of course, yet another Democratic Party gimmick to secure the support of groups with grievances but it will impact on every American who believes that free speech is a fundamental right.

Yet another brilliant appointment by Biden is Ezekiel Emanual, bioethicist brother of former Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. Ezekiel is on the Biden administration’s COVID transition team. He has a lot of interesting things to say, notably that the United States should give any newly developed and in short supply COVID vaccines to countries with younger populations so that the young could live while older Americans die. He has also said that everyone should die by age 75.

Finally, Joe’s ambitions do not end on the nation’s borders. In addition to pulling together a cabinet that will include a host of warmongers, there is talk that the new president will early in his presidency convene a “Summit of Democracies” with the stated intention of coordinating a response to Chinese, Iranian and, of course, Russian “aggression.” If it sounds like old wine in new bottles, it should.

Enthusiastic reporting from military contractor funded online newsletter DefenseOne supports the Biden initiative but with a warning: “And if this is truly a Democracy Summit, then Biden should make it clear that government leaders of China, Russia, Iran, Syria, North Korea and their ilk are not invited.” The process of selecting democracies will in fact be more complicated than this with politically protected states like Israel being included even though it is a serial human rights abuser and war criminal. The United States is itself a flawed democracy that is widely seen in negative terms by most of the world, but that will not stop it from attempting to host the summit.

So we Americans and presumably much of the world have a lot to look forward to in the new Biden-Harris regime that is currently taking shape. Internal democracy for all will increasingly be imperiled by pandering to special interests and more foreign wars. It is particularly interesting to note that the one thing that Democratic Party voters as well as other Americans overwhelmingly wanted above all else was a national health care system. That subject is not even on the Biden to-do list.

  1. The psychopaths are not doing themselves any favors, contrary to their beliefs, regardless of their race, religion, sex, age, political affiliation, or ethnicity. Since I am a targeted individual, I can state that I happen to be a victim of crime perpetrated by whites and blacks, Republicans and Democrats, government employees, private sector employees, media sector, tech sector, medical sector, utility sector. What I am totally aware of is that this could only be occurring in a society that has completely decayed and rotted from within in a banana republic in which the overwhelming majority of citizens are rotten to the core. There is no solution to such a problem. The most elegant and perfect system could be put in place and it would almost instantaneously self-destruct because of the people that are in it that are such losers and mentally incompetent thugs that their idea of a winning strategy is to pick up a chess board and throw it in the air if they are losing the game, and then have the hubris to declare themselves victors. It really is that bad in this counyry now.

  3. As my handle indicates I am an old left-liberal by personality and culture, but a noticer who noticed that mass immigration, outsourcing, unmanaged trade, and endless wars were destroying families, communities, and the country. Abandoned Americans, opioids, meth, and tent Obamavilles are no mystery to me.

The return to pure MIC-CIA-FBI-Wall St-BigTech centrism will further the destruction, I fear. The right will get the foreign wars and domestic immiseration they so cherish; the left will get nothing but idpol that is so holy and good, so dishonest and divisive, and costs just pennies from Bloomberg and his class.

Politics goes back and forth, and there is 2024, but my worry is an irreversible immigration emergency before then. We know that Soros, Davos, and globalism are eager to dump populations into high-income countries. But that’s not all. The world is completely wired now, and it’s not so much that people would come on their own, or be boosted by purported philanthropists, but that legal and illegal international labor contractors exist already to connect supply and demand. These brokers can attract finance, rapidly expand, and the luckiest of them be bought out and made a division in one or two of the megacorps. Not to mention the Mexican cartel transport subcontractors deepening American operations and controlling even more U.S. public officials than they do now.

The demand by the rich for cheap labor is infinite: if they could get away with it, wages would drop below zero, and we’d have to compete as to who would pay the most to the boss for the privilege of working. As for supply, we know from polls that a few hundred million would move here if they could, from Honduras, Vietnam, Zimbabwe, Tatarstan, Uttar Pradesh, etc.; they know America through dissemination of its pop culture and believe that many riches can be had – and their cellphones would be exaggerating the riches further and telling how to sign up to get them.

Opportunistic endorsement of open borders by cynical centrists creates a giobal perception of easy entry, increased attempts, individual and organized, open and clandestine, mass crossings, welcoming celebrations of “refugees,” wokester sob festivals about the wretched of the earth, failure of effective response by cynical centrists, perception of even easier entry, turning into a runaway process.

And the severe economic, social, and political consequences would be resolutely explained away by the Tech-Media Ministry of Truth as caused by racism, racism, racism requiring ever more draconian struggle against that supreme evil. The “antiracism” inculcated to splinter popular unity will now block application of an effective policy response by any surviving realists, the inflow will accelerate, and next foreign adversaries will take advantage in military theaters far and near. And would any clever strategists among those adversaries foresee this vulnerability and thus help to bring it about?

The oh so sober and responsible national security humanitarians dreaming of their new wars could by 2024 be destabilized by domestic chaos.

It’s been dissonant the last four years to experience the presidency of a WWE-style, personality-damaged billionaire who nevertheless pursues policies of peace and prosperity for Americans. But it was more miserable a few days ago, accidentally watching MSM TV news’ self-righteous lectures on the supposed return to normalcy and “competence” with Biden and Kerry.

As I watched Biden platitudinize on stage flanked by his masked cronies I wanted to shout out, “Stop! To Serve Americans! It’s a recipe book!”

  4. Real social justice would start with full employment. The Soviets and Chinese recognized this. If you are gainfully employed, more than 2/3 of your waking hours are tied up by employment, which reduces the amount of time available for mayhem. Meaningful employment gives “normal” people, regardless of race, creed, or religion, a sense of purpose.
The US system, other than a brief wartime and post war periods, and exceptions like Henry Ford, always been about controlling the population through unemployment and poverty. Whether bankers or industrialists, the elite made obscene amount of money while most of their employees struggled to make ends meet. It’s not jealousy that these people feel, it is outrage that the fortunes are earned as a result of their work and they receive so little for it. Even farmers get screwed by price fixing. They all know it, but feel powerless to end it.

Well, remember Mr. Giraldi, Kamala stated openly before the election and with her usual demonic smugness, “it’s necessary for the “rioting and “peaceful demonstrations to go on”, even after we win the election”, It begs the question of where were those Americans that voted for her and Biden anyway, while all of the burning, looting and killing, along with the peaceful demonstrations , were happening across the good old U.S.A.? Perhaps they were on a hiatus somewhere with Ted Wheeler…??

    Interesting post. Part:

This is a land redistribution scheme, plain and simple. A federal agency would be tasked with purchasing billions of dollars in private land annually on the American taxpayer’s dime. And to add insult to injury, that land would then be given exclusively to people based on their race.

If it seems a joke to confiscate the land for blacks in the US, keep in mind the 1619 Project would have been considered a joke less than five years ago when the Obama Presidency convinced millions that we lived in post-racist America.

Always a pleasure to read anything you write, Mr. Geraldi.

Please note that the power to create a “national health care system” is found nowhere in Art. I, Sect. 8 of the Constitution. Such a “benefit” is properly not on any federal official’s to-do list. If Virginia wants to create a state health care system for Virginians it is free to do so as the underlying theory of popular sovereignty and its expression in the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution make abundantly clear.

Moose antler regulation, the prohibition of driving under the influence, and designation of the state vegetable are state functions, the power to perform which is not found in Sect. 8. Like it or not, that’s the basic division of power. Limited, clearly defined powers delegated to the Federal government, all other powers left in the hands of the states or the people.

Voters merely wanting something does not make that something something as to which Congress can pass legislation. (This is, of course, the operative “constitutional” scheme since at least Wikipedia v. Fillmore.) There are, in fact, a multitude of excellent reasons for certain policies and preferences to NOT to be left in the hands of .0003% of the entire population. It’s bad enough that people in New York state have to endure the stupidity of what some.003% of the population in the state legislature do, they being what is jokingly described as being more accessible to state residents.

A recent poll, can’t find it now but it’s out there, has it that the two nation LEAST desired to move to in the developed world are the USA and the UK. Both nations had lots of news this year and none of it good.

The kicker in it though was that Russians still want to move to the USA! I did a double take at that one. Which got me to serious thinking: We got a Russian immigrant truck driver where I worked, and I asked him if the wife and I wanted to retire to Russia, could we? His English is not really good, but he said he’d be happy to sign the papers to help me emigrate. AND there’s lots of American, Canadian, Britons and so on in Russia if we stick to Moscow and environs. Business and tech and all that.

Sounds cool if it’s a one-for-one situation. Russia is much safer than the US. And you can bet they won’t have and BLM protests in Moscow anytime soon.

Just as a thought experiment, wouldn’t it be a sight if thousands of Americans started seeking political asylum in Russia for fringe beliefs? I mean after all. From Stalin to Brezhnev, we did it for them.

The country is in moral crisis. Corruption is not only systemic, but is rewarded financially, with power, and with emoluments of all types. It is not limited to the power structure either. If it was merely the power structure, that would be easy to fix, but it is much deeper than that. It is a way of life for too many people. Deception, manipulation, thuggery, violating people’s constitutional rights, and corruption, are common place to the point that they are widely accepted as reasonable acceptable behavior, in other words, cheating is acceptable. There cannot be any resolution when the majority of the population is that morally bankrupt. We could go from endless wars to endless revolutions and endless civil wars. A revolution cannot be based on lies and be successful, nor can injustice prevail in any successful revolution. The current system is completely corrupt and dysfunctional, and fake revolutionaries want to replace it with one that is more corrupt, dysfunctional, and repressive than the system that we currently have, to save their own asses, obviously!

Where has Trump “impotently surrendered”? He has not conceded, has he? And how can he “easily prove it,” when many democrat appointed judges in state courts refuse to listen?

I’m not privy to the numbers, but it’s obvious to me from considerable reading that the election was rigged. Trump’s legal team is making progress, and it may well go to the Supreme Court. I just wish that Trump had a better lead attorney than 76 year-old Giuliani, who hasn’t prosecuted a case in years, and whose best days are clearly behind him.

What bothers me tremendously is that half of Whites remain clueless about what will happen under Biden/Harris. Per A. Epigone, not that much more than 50% voted Trump, a lower percentage than he received in 2016. Married men broke 56-42 for Trump, while a similar percent of single men went Biden.

If his stats are anywhere near accurate (which this election proved polls are not), then it’s hard to believe that a Trump win could be a landslide, especially since he lost White single women, Hispanics, and Blacks (major gains were made in the Hispanic & Black vote). Trump is certainly no savior, and I’m no MAGA person who thinks he walks on water. But at least Trump does not hate Hillary’s “deplorables,” as Biden/Harris and most democrats clearly do.

And you used the ellipsis to obscure … what?

    The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

    The context of taxation, etc.?

The limiting “of the United States,” as opposed to the people?

I was scared before, but now I am really scared.

The point is “depopulation” — has nothing to do with improving your “health” — except making it bad — all sorts of people in the “trials” had terrible side effects — one Lady was covered in sores and her feet were rotting off — she couldn’t work so put up a GoFundMe Page with PHOTOS (gruesome) and was getting lots of notice so the NWO Corporate Creeps who run it pulled it of course, can’t have the Peons cluing in — so “woke” they are they decided better she die than anyone clue in as to what’s up with the “vaccine”…this is what is “running” the USA now, these NWO Creeps –anyone who lets them stick this needle in their arm is a flaming idiot, given that fact in the USA there will be tens of millions who will do so….

Take solace in the fact that any USians that die in a foreign war are the dregs of the society for volunteering to murder people that have never harmed them or the US.

Better late than never, I suppose, but would have been nice about four years ago, along with firing all the US attorneys, ( like Clinton and Obama did). Would love to hear Phil’s take on this.
Trump clearing the deck for second term?
Biden bringing the CFR back (if they ever indeed went away) – guaranteed catastrophe.

I notice that your Constitution allows the U.S. government to start unnecessary wars abroad, though, with ordinary Americans ‘free’ to pay for it with their taxes – and in some cases, with life and limb. There seems to be no restraint on that.

Anytime I can use a rabbi`s statement, in or out of context, to blow up multiculturalism, I will. Disagreeing with a rabbi would be Auntie Shem-itic, wouldn`t it?

Now there’s a good idea! Everyone, name your next daughter Semitic, and within one generation they’ll all be Auntie Semitic!

    The Smith-Mundt Act???
Is that a re-hash of the Fink-Meadows Heads Up Act?

It really is that bad in this counyry now.

And not just this country. It’s literally everywhere. Not everyone. But everywhere. And for a reason devoid of any complexity. The population explosion that started in the 19th century introduced a new species of child-people, or, the spoilt child, as Ortega called them. These people are constitutionally incapable of grasping the fact that civilization isn’t something you hold on to, it’s something you uphold.

Within the West the population explosion was a kind of internal mass migration that introduced millions and millions of people to a civilization it did not create, and so, didn’t understand, care for, or value. So, it basically set out to squander it. Though they thought they were doing something else.

And this child-people might have been self-centered and indifferent to the very civilization that made its existence possible, but it wanted the goodies. And, being spoilt children, it felt entitled to them. So the age of rising expectations was born.

From this perspective, Identity Politics is simply a continuation of something that started long ago within the host population of the West and then spread througout the world. Which is why the world wanted to come to the West. That they’re here has only served to speed up the process.

And it is exactly this age of rising expectations that has come to a crashing halt, leaving its child-people to dangle over an abyss while hanging by a thread.

In any event, we’re in no position to laugh at the dinosaurs for getting themselves extinct. After all, they lasted a lot longer than we have so far.

    platitudes and self-righteous drivel

Dropping bombs on people all over the globe, shock and awe, destroying countries, turning millions of people into miserable refugees, all have been explained as spreading democracy, liberating them, bringing good things to them. Self-righteous drivel and platitudes are the Orwellian cover given to the sordid mass murder the US has perpetuated against weaker countries everywhere. Now the target is increasingly internal, US citizens to be targeted. The more noble sounding the rhetoric the viler the reality. It’s an inverse sort of thing. Nothing is beyond these evil people.
