At the end of the nineteenth century, Lord Palmerston stated what he thought was obvious, that “England has no eternal friends, England has no perpetual enemies, England has only eternal and perpetual interests.” Palmerston was saying that national interests should drive the relationships with foreigners. A nation will have amicable relations most of the time with some countries and difficult relations with some others, but the bottom line should always be what is beneficial for one’s own country and people.

If Palmerston were alive today and observing the relationship of the United States of America with the rest of the world, he might well find Washington to be an exception to his rule. The U.S., to be sure, has been adept at turning adversaries into enemies and disappointing friends, and it is all done with a glib assurance that doing so will somehow bring democracy and freedom to all. Indeed, either neoliberal democracy promotion or the neoconservative version of the same have been seen as an overriding and compelling interest during the past twenty years even though the policies themselves have been disastrous and have only damaged the real interests of the American people.

The U.S. relationship with Israel is, for example, driven by a powerful and wealthy domestic lobby rather than by any common interests at all yet it is regularly falsely touted as being between two “close allies” and “best friends.” It has cost Americans hundreds of billions of dollars in subsidies for the Jewish state and Israeli influence over U.S. policy in the Middle East region has led to catastrophic military interventions in Afghanistan, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Mogadishu and Libya. Currently, Israel is agitating for U.S. action against the nonexistent Iranian “threat” while also unleashing its lobby in the United States to make illegal criticism of any of its war crimes, effectively curtailing freedom of speech and association for all Americans.

Far more dangerous is the continued excoriation of the Kremlin over the largely mythical Russiagate narrative. Congress has recently approved a bill that would give to Ukraine $300 million in supplementary military assistance to use against Russia. The money and authorization appear in the House of Representatives version of the national defense authorization act (NDAA) that passed last week.

The bill is a renewal of the controversial Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative that Donald Trump allegedly manipulated to bring about an investigation of Joe Biden’s son Hunter. The new version expands on the former assistance package to include coastal defense cruise missiles and anti-ship missiles as offensive weapons that are acceptable for export to Kiev. It also authorizes an additional $50 million in military assistance on top of the $250 million congress had granted in last year’s bill, “of which $100 million would be available only for lethal assistance.”

Ukraine sought the money and arms to counter Russian naval dominance in the Black Sea through its base at Sevastopol in the Crimea. One year ago the Russian navy captured three Ukrainian warships and Kiev was unable to push back against Moscow because it lacked weapons designed to attack ships. Now it will have them and presumably it will use them. How Russia will react is unknowable.

Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, has been in Washington lobbying for the additional military assistance. He has had considerable success, particularly as there is bipartisan support in Congress for aid to Kiev and also because the Trump Departments of Defense and State as well as the National Security Council are all on board in countering the “Russian threat” in the Black Sea. President Trump signed the NDAA last week, which completed the process.

Far more ominously, Kuleba and his interlocutors in the administration and congress have been revisiting a proposal first surfaced under Bill Clinton, that Ukraine and Georgia should be admitted to the NATO alliance. Like the $300 million in military aid, there appears to be considerable bipartisan support for such a move. NATO already has a major presence on the Black Sea with Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey all members. Adding Ukraine and Georgia would completely isolate the Russian presence and Moscow would undoubtedly see it as an existential threat.

The NDAA also provides seed money to initiate the so-called Space Force, which President Trump inaugurated by describing it as “the world’s newest war-fighting domain. Amid grave threats to our national security, American superiority in space is absolutely vital. We’re leading, but we’re not leading by enough, but very shortly we’ll be leading by a lot. The Space Force will help us deter aggression and control the ultimate high ground.”

If that isn’t bad enough, the new defense budget ominously also requires the Trump administration to impose sanctions “with respect to provision of certain vessels for the construction of certain Russian energy export pipelines.” Last week the House of Representatives and Senate approved specific sanctions relating to the companies and governments that are collaborating on the construction of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline that will cross the Baltic Sea from Vyborg to Greifswald to connect Germany with Russian natural gas. President Trump has signed off on the legislation.

The United States has opposed the project ever since it was first mooted, claiming that it will make Europe “hostage” to Russian energy, will enrich the Russian government, and will also empower Russian President Vladimir Putin to be more aggressive. Engineering companies that will be providing services such as pipe-laying will be targeted by Washington as the Trump administration tries to halt the completion of the $10.5 billion project.

Now that the NDAA has been signed, the Trump administration has 60 days to identify companies, individuals and even foreign governments that have in some way provided services or assistance to the pipeline project. Sanctions would block individuals from travel to the United States and would freeze bank accounts and other tangible property that would be identified by the U.S. Treasury. One company that will definitely be targeted for sanctions is the Switzerland-based Allseas, which has been contracted with by Russia’s Gazprom to build the offshore section of pipeline. It has suspended work on the project while it examines the implications of the sanctions.

Bear in mind that Nord Stream 2 is a peaceful commercial project between two countries that have friendly relations, making the threats implicit in the U.S. reaction more than somewhat inappropriate. Increased U.S. sanctions against Russia itself are also believed to be a possibility and there has even been some suggestion that the German government and its energy ministry might be sanctioned. This has predictably resulted in pushback from Germany, normally a country that is inclined to go along with any and all American initiatives. Last week German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas asked Congress not to meddle in European energy policy, saying “We think this is unacceptable, because it is ultimately a move to influence autonomous decisions that are made in Europe. European energy policy is decided in Europe, not in the U.S.”

German Bundestag member Andreas Nick warned that “It’s an issue of national sovereignty, and it is potentially a liability for trans-Atlantic relations.” That Trump is needlessly alienating important countries like Germany that are genuine allies, unlike Israel and Saudi Arabia, over an issue that is not an actual American interest is unfortunate. It makes one think that the wheels have definitely come off the cart in Washington.

The point is that Donald Trump, Mike Pompeo, Mike Pence and Mike Esper (admittedly too many Mikes) wouldn’t know a national interest if it hit them in the face. Their politicization of policy to “win in 2020” promoting apocalyptic nonsense like war in space has also reinforced an existing tunnel vision on what Russia under Vladimir Putin is all about that is extremely dangerous. Admittedly, Team Trump throws out sanctions in all directions with reckless abandon, mostly aimed at Russia, Iran, North Korea and, the current favorite, Venezuela. No one is immune. But the escalation going from sanctions to arming the Kremlin’s enemies is both reckless and pointless. Russia will definitely strike back if it is attacked, make no mistake about that, and war could easily escalate with tragic consequences for all of us. That war is perhaps becoming thinkable is in itself deplorable, with Business Insider running a recent piece on surviving a nuclear attack. New homes in target America will likely soon come equipped with bomb shelters, just like in the 1950s.

  1. I don’t know what Trump’s specific thoughts are on the pipeline but my guess is that he sees a disconnect between militarily defending Germany from Russia and Germany doing major business with Moscow. I guess a skeptic would ask why we would be on the hook for aiding a prosperous nation if they’re doing a $10.5B business deal with an alleged enemy. Add to that Germany’s unsatisfactory NATO contributions (1.2% of GDP) and it certainly looks suspicious.

Obviously, the answer is for Germany to pull out of NATO. Then it can have its pipeline and not worry about being aligned with the meddlesome Yanks.

Russia has a couple of thousand tanks. Switzerland has more tanks than Britain and the meaning of Brexit is Britain (token force in Estonia notwithstanding) no longer thinks Europe faces a threat from Russia or any kind of military threat at all. No one wants anything from Russia, and no one is going to go to start a nuclear war over the Ukraine. If Germany is an ally they can stop leeching off of Nato while (cocooned with it having no unfriendly country on their border) for defence from Russia and bypassing East European countries with a pipeline that benefits Russia.

China are deindustrializing the West making deals with Saudi Arabia and sending missions to the far side of the Moon. Makinder noted in 1904 that a Russia allied with China would have all it needed for world domination.

Trump has been friendly toward Putin but Russia has a deep state denizens living in the Cold War past as well, and Putin as a Cold War counter intel specialist is the worst of them. Trump is the businessman and he understands the threat from China is immediate and economic. By the time it is military China will have already have won.

The attacks against foreign nationals and accusations swung at American citizens as being agents of foreign governments for not towing the party line has devolved us further into the Kafkaesque state of insanity with an Orwellian twist.

Nobody is immune, not even the POTUS. For that reason, when I was blogging, I would not take donations for fear of being accused of being an agent to a foreign government. I have been targeted. The CIA has connections all over the world, and could have easily had someone from a foreign government or business donate to me, and then accuse me of being a foreign agent.

It sometimes pays to be paranoid. Look at how much these accusations have cost Trump and his family in both dollars and time. If Trump is not immune, nobody is. All accusations were entirely baseless, while the one who was taking money from foreign agents, Hunter Biden is being defended to the point of impeaching Trump over Joe Biden having a Ukrainian judge for prosecuting Hunter Biden on corruption charges.

This country has lost everything! It has lost its liberty, integrity, sanity, and dignity! There is really nothing left to defend in this country!

  4. That Trump is needlessly alienating important countries like Germany

He’s been doing that for the last three years with his endless complaints about alleged “free-riding” by Germany and his threats of trade wars. Even if it’s probably true that Germany should spend more on defense, out of pure self-interest, I find Trump’s tone offensive, given his endless fawning over Israel and Saudi-Arabia…unlike them, Germany sent soldiers to be maimed and killed in Afghanistan (Denmark of course did that even more on a per capita basis, including deployments to extremely dangerous Helmand province, but Trump humiliated them as well over his bizarre scheme for buying Greenland).
Even worse is Trump’s ambassador to Germany Grenell, a proud sodomite and former aide of John Bolton, who goes on about nothing but his love for Israel, the evil of Iran and faggot rights, and constantly lectures Germany for not being supportive enough of Trump’s hardline policy towards Iran. This clown should be declared persona non grata and expelled, but since Germany today is a joke country utterly lacking in self-respect that’s of course not going to happen.

Self preference and preservation (‘racism’) is a normal and healthy instinct. The 90% of the world we’re forced to call minorities is allowed to embrace this, Whites uniquely are not.

Homogeneous non-White countries/communities are considered sufficiently ‘diverse’. They don’t have to import and ‘assimilate’ anybody.

Excellent. You have spotted something crucial. This is about Germany not Russia. Keep digging to find more about the TRUTH.

Look at what *is not* done in addition to what *is* done.

Despite the “title” the Trump Administration is really sanctioning Germany not Russia. Ask this… If the wanted to block Russian success, why are the sanctions on the smaller gas project to Germany and not the massive project to China (1)?

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping launched a new China-Russia natural gas pipeline on Monday, connecting a Siberian gas field to a city in northeastern China. … a deal worth $400 billion with Russian energy giant Gazprom in May 2014.

… the pipeline will span more than 5,000 miles, joining a 3,000-kilometer (1,864 miles) section in Russia with a 5,111-km (3,176 miles) stretch in China, eventually terminating in Shanghai.

As a matter of objective observable fact. Germany is the target, not Russia.
    _____

The vicious German/EU elites want to brutalize Christian Populist nations like Poland and Hungary. The Trump sanctions are intended to keep Germany dependant on energy delivered via U.S. allies such as Christian Poland.

Want more? I am glad you asked!

What has been the Trump #1 European energy project for some time. The Italy-Greece-Cyprus-Isreal “EAST MED” pipeline (2).

Greece, Cyprus and Israel will press ahead with the development of a pipeline channeling natural gas from the eastern Mediterranean to Europe, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ office said on Sunday. Mitsotakis, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Nicos Anastasiades, the president of Cyprus, will sign an agreement on the so-called EastMed pipeline in Athens on Jan. 2.

The agreement will be concluded when Italy signs off

The histrionic posters you often see here on UR are outraged by the source, and miss the real story. Trump is making sure that Euro-skeptic Italy is not energy dependent on Germany.
    ____

Most people do not see the TRUTH. Of those that do, few will say it openly. Please do not “blindly believe” anyone, including me. Look at the facts and then use your own judgement.

Objective facts clearly show that the battle is ‘Christian Populist EU Citizens’ versus ‘Anti-Christian EU Globalist elites’. Anyone who says otherwise is knowingly (or possibly unknowingly) serving the pro-Islam Globalist elites that want subservience not Christian freedoms.

Fortunately, there is hope among men of goodwill in this festive season. Infidels, primarily Christian Populists, are beginning to win the war. The UK election was a brutal defeat for anti-Christian Globalists across the EU.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄

They are not even aware of their own American exceptionalism. Unfortunately all Western-European countries are now totally controlled by the Clinton faction of the American deep state and their Israeli friends. A few years ago it was shown that in the UK candidates for the Conservative Party can be vetoed by the Israeli embassy. The same goes on in other Western European countries. In stead of allies in the eighties and early nineties, we are now vassal states of the USA on the same level as Guatemala and Honduras.

It’s exactly about keeping Russia away and pushing US fracking gas by all means necessary. Germany was building a couple of LPG carrier piers for goods arriving from the US as I remember. I forsee this will be delayed now.

Obviously, the answer is for Germany to pull out of NATO. Then it can have its pipeline and not worry about being aligned with the meddlesome Yanks.

No, because it will still be subject to sanctions. Same with Siemens getting sanctioned because they delivered turbines to a Russian company involved in Crimea. It will have to pull out of a lot more than just NATO, in particular anything to do with the dollar.

Add to that Germany’s unsatisfactory NATO contributions (1.2% of GDP) and it certainly looks suspicious.

I’m mostly suspicious about measuring the appropriateness of military spending against GDP. That kind of thinking came out of McCain’s rear end as I remember, and its not how this is supposed to work. First you need to know what spending is for, and it should not for supporting NATO in Afghanistan or financing US arms manufacturer for their shoddy work for example.

NATO is now no more than an imperial money making scam, which is long past its expiry date.

Germany and others in Europe have to stand firm against US interference in their own affairs. They rolled over meekly when Trump dumped the Iranian nuclear deal and that unacceptable level cowardice has now lead to this latest round of nonsense from the bunch crazies in Washington.

The Euro or other major currencies should now take precedence over the risky dollar. If the Saudis and other Arabs still insist on weaponised dollars, then Europe should buy Iranian and Russian oil instead. The Arabs would then have no option but to accept Euros and other sound currencies.

Of course, this would send the Great Satan into paroxysms of fury, as its days of freeloading and lording it over the rest of the world would soon be over. Is it really going to declare war on the Arabs or Europe? It is high time to find out just how tough the US bully boy really is.

More likely though, Europe will continue to tow the selfish US line, until both entities begin to unravel. By then, it will probably be too late to do anything sensible to save either of them, and the rest of the world will have already have moved.

Siemens violated EU bloc rules, it had nothing to do with ‘Murica.

I’m mostly suspicious about measuring the appropriateness of military spending against GDP. That kind of thinking came out of McCain’s rear end as I remember, and its not how this is supposed to work.

How is it supposed to work then? NATO’s own documents show that GDP is the accepted benchmark for contributions. Maybe they should switch to an “El Dato” benchmark where they get to sneer at the fit & finish of American technology. Technology I might add that Britain and France found quite useful in Libya after they ran out of missiles, couldn’t re-fuel their jets in the air and had no clue what they were shooting at.

One possibility is this would lead to the most powerful economic block on the planet. With wealth, resources and, if needed, military might, dwarfing that of the U.S.

How would this effect U.S. hegemony, the dream of uni-polar world? Better try to divide and conquer now before the nightmare materializes perhaps?

  36. If you can believe the hype, Russia has the best weapons, but not enough of them to win a prolonged war, assuming it does not go nuclear. Putin has said that he will never again allow Russia to be invaded. So, the way I envision it, Russia must strike first with nukes before it is attacked. And it will have to be a killing strike, with an EMP so strong as to disable a US counter attack. If such a scenario occurs, you cannot say that the US didn’t deserve it. It is tragically ironic and that Mr. Trump, who campaigned on friendly relations with Russia, may wind up being the last American president. Have a Merry Christmas as it may well be your last.

Kaizer put his plan in action when in 1880 in Paris together with France of Napoleon the 3rd, the construct of new Europe was set in place. It was Europe of Germany, France and Russia sans England. That set off the alarm in the City and activated the plan for the destruction of Germany and Russia. Two world wars and the goal was achieved, The period 1880 to 1914 has been labeled as the BELLE EPOQUE of Europe.

I find Trump’s tone offensive, given his endless fawning over Israel and Saudi-Arabia…unlike them, Germany sent soldiers to be maimed and killed in Afghanistan

For the US to survive it needs to “consume” Western (and Eastern) Europe by turning them through double-whammy:

    1. Into the markets for US carbohydrates (no matter if they are not competitive with Russian ones);
    2. By increasing already very high energy costs of manufacturing in Europe (and especially Germany), thus reducing European competitiveness against whatever is left of US goods;

Germany, as being (for now) an industrial heart of EU thus must be subdued. She will be. That IS the plan and Germany (and EU as follows) will soon experience even more of “allied relations” with the US until it will be totally subdued. In some sense, Macron of France feels that, hence his attempts to dance to his own tune (also bound for failure), but, generally, considering who EU “elites” are–it is just the matter of time. It doesn’t mean that US will “save” itself (I am not sure what can save it now, a miracle?) but the mess is coming one way or another.

    https://www.popularmechanics.com/military/a26326951/russia-to-receive-first-new-armata-tanks-in-2019/

Now, in early 2019, it’s being revealed that Russia will have only 12 Armatas by 2020. Russian tank company Uralvagonzavod will deliver 12 T-14s and 4 T-16 BREM tank recovery vehicles by the end of 2019. That will leave the Russian Ground Forces 2,288 tanks short of their stated goal.

Flat panel screens, as extensively used in the Armata tank, are not produced in Russia.

The latest movement on the Mongolian option comes just days after Russia opened its massive 3,000-kilometer (1,864-mile) Power of Siberia pipeline, known as the eastern route, on Dec. 2 to supply gas to northeast China and as far south as Shanghai.

The Power of Siberia route is expected to pump 5 billion cubic meters (176.5 billion cubic feet) of gas into China in 2020 and reach full capacity of 38 billion cubic meters (bcm) annually by 2025.

Russia’s accelerated push for the Mongolian route represents a doubling down on China’s economic growth despite recent “headwinds,” relying on its plans to shift more of its energy consumption to cleaner but more costly gas from cheap but high-polluting domestic coal.

But perhaps equally significant is that Russia’s embrace of the Mongolian plan appears to spell the end of its earlier drive for a direct western route on a narrow corridor into China through Xinjiang after failing to sell Beijing on the idea for the past 14 years.

Russia wanting a route to use existing infrastructure suggests it has trouble building pipelines in a timely fashion when coordinating with the Chinese.

By increasing already very high energy costs of manufacturing in Europe (and especially Germany)

Germany is already doing that on her own to a large extent, energy security is becoming increasingly unreliable due to the misguided Energiewende with its rejection of both nuclear and coal power. There have already been multiple cases when energy-intensive industries (like aluminium-manufacturing iirc) had to cease operating for some time because of energy shortages. It’s also probably only a matter of time, until there’s a large-scale blackout lasting weeks and with hundreds of dead.
Most of the blame for that has to go to German society itself which is in the grip of deluded “Green” fantasies. But it’s of course possible that American strategists do think to some extent like described in your post above, I guess a desire to open up European markets for US liquefied natural gas plays at least some role in the Nordstream 2 sanctions.

They were successful in India and the Arabic speaking region when there were no states in existence at one time. They did try hard in Iran but their partial success only lasted from 1907 with the discovery fossil fuel reserves until 1953 when Dr Mossadegh, elected PM, kicked their asses out of Iran at the expense of his own dully elected job.
America was observing this behavior and she learned and chose to go a different route using guns to force the darker skin people into submission! The old policy which started post WWII continues until to date and it will for an undetermined time in the future.

Germany, as being (for now) an industrial heart of EU thus must be subdued

This was England’s reason (the zionists had their own) for both the 1st and 2nd world wars against Germany. The 1919 Versaillles Treaty was drafted with the intent to keep Germany bankrupt and non-competetive for 100 years. But, when the zionist jews boycotted Germany world wide beginning in 1933 Hitler threw out the Central Banks and printed the non interest bearing New Reichs Mark And, in 5 short years payed off what ‘they’ thought would take 100 years to pay. This lead to the 2nd war and the fire bombing of German cities, and the mass rapes and murder of Germans after WW2. Germany’s current success through the 1960s – 80’s, caused the same forces that began the world wars to create the current immigration crisis. Rome had the ‘First Triumvirate’ consisting of the real estate speculator and billionaire Crassus, the military general Pompey, and Crassus’ protege, the up and coming Julius Caeser. It all started to go badly with Crassus disastrous military campaign against Parthia, ie present day Iran.

The end result was civil war, assassination, the demise of the Roman republic, and the ultimate personal destruction of all three individuals.

The New Rome (the United States) has a hypothetical parallel triumvirate in it’s own billionaire and real estate speculator Donald Trump, the military veteran and Secretary of State Pompeo, and Trump’s protege, the up and coming Jared Kushner.

Of course, only about six months back, the US and Iran came close to war, and there are those even now pushing for it.

While I tend to believe most things are coincidental, one can’t help but wonder at times about the possibility of certain events being deliberately manipulated.

A couple of decades ago there was a story on the internet. It was purported that a time traveler had come back from the America of several decades ahead, which was recovering from a civil war. Obviously a fantasy, and at that time there was no indication that a civil war might be looming. Now that looks more possible. The interesting part was that in this fantasy the rural rebels, pushed into rebellion by the increasingly harsh rule of political correctness mandated by the major cities, had slowly won – aided by nuclear strikes from their Russian friends destroying the major American cities.
Now the Russian supermissiles might be able to do just that without retaliation, if the Americans were engaged in a civil war. Perhaps the next decade may become historically interesting times, and the rabid dog threatening the rest of the world may be put down if Putin stays around for another term.

The LGBT Marxists are not really a big threat, neither are the hordes of immigrants as all Russia has to do is keep its borders tightly shut.

From a realpolitik point of view, it would be better for Russia/Eastern Europe and China to watch the West crumble and die rather than jumping in to “save the conservatives”.

The reason the fascists helped the Spanish was to stop the Bolsheviks getting a foothold in their doorstep, in the case of America and Western Europe, these places have been occupied territory for a long time.

There will be no “White Brotherhood” or a “ChiCom-White alliance” it is in their interests to see the West collapse.

In fact I seek to recall Russian agitating on behalf of Black Lives Matter back in the day by setting up Facebook pages, similar to how they agitated for the civil rights movement back in the 60s.

There is a lot of hand rubbing going on in Moscow/Beijing a the prospect of our collapse, if I were them so would lend my support to the belligerents in such a way to cause maximum chaos and casualties, and then just invade.

If Americans want to look the other way and ignore how our New Ruling Elite are baiting the Russian Bear, so be it. These Americans won’t notice until that big flash in the sky brings a question mark to their brain a millisecond before it is vaporized in a nuclear Holocaust.

    from ‘German reunification’ Wikipedia
“Jack Matlock, US ambassador to the Soviet Union during its final years, said that the West gave a “clear commitment” not to expand, and declassified documents indicate that Soviet negotiators were given the oral impression by diplomats like Hans-Dietrich Genscher and James Baker
that NATO membership was off the table for countries such as Czechoslovakia, Hungary, or Poland.[6] [7]

In 1996, Gorbachev wrote in his Memoirs, that “during the negotiations on the unification of Germany they gave assurances that NATO would not extend its zone of operation to the east,”[8] and repeated this view in an interview in 2008.[9] According to Robert Zoellick, a State Department official involved in the Two Plus Four negotiating process, this appears to be a misperception, and no formal commitment regarding enlargement was made.[10] Other authors, such as Mark Kramer, have also highlighted that in 1990 neither side imagined that countries still technically in the Warsaw Pact or the Soviet Union could one day join NATO.[11]”

The likes of Lord Palmerston is the reason why the US is in its current predicament.

Yes, Palmerston was very high up in the British establishment and had a major hand in creating the modern geo-political world.

We’re taught the 1848 revolutions that swept Europe were ‘naturally occurring’ and ‘spontaneous’, yet the then British Foreign Secretary and future prime minister Lord Palmerston seems to have known about it well over a year before the actual events, which indicates foreknowledge, if not foreplanning.

As excerpted and linked below, some cryptic writings of Lord Palmerston’s in regards to ‘a dark intrigue’ about to explode across the whole of Europe made the lead story of the front page of The Spectator of London in 1846.

These Palmerstonian writings broadly outlined the events of 1848 which started in France and then quickly spread.

The Majority Rights link below has excerpts from a London Times editorial published in the midst of the 1848 revolutions. It advocated that the prospective new revolutionary states of Europe construct a continental super state of themselves modeled upon the United States.

I suspect this was the actual purpose of the 1848 revolutions, ie laying the ‘republican’ groundwork for what is today known as the European Union. The EU in turn, along with the other continental super states under construction since 1776, are to be cogs of the future global super state/empire.

Historically, at least, the idea seems to have been that this future world state would be dominated by the Anglo-Saxon US/UK.

    Palmerston wasn’t the only one.

The future British prime minister Disraeli also indicated foreknowledge of 1848 in his 1844 novel Coningsby. He, of course, may well have had his own ideas about these things

I’m guessing Giraldi, as with most people, just honestly didn’t know this about Palmerston.

    The Spectator – November 21, 1846

‘The most striking occurrence of the week is not an event, but some writing, highly Palmerstonian in its savor. According to this characteristic effusion, all Europe is about to be in commotion. A dark intrigue is seen in every region, with France at the bottom of it all…’

‘…You would think there was going to be instant war – in Italy, in Schleswig, in Switzerland, in Poland – everywhere.’

    ADL’s Depraved Books For Children
Censorship by any other name smells the same.
And synonymous with censorship is the “Anti-Defamation League,” the Jewish Lobby, ill-famed as the official flagger of YouTube.
But it’s high time the ADL—led by Jonathan Greenblatt and Eileen Hershenov—lay off us truth-tellers and do their own self-censoring.
Just look at the books these Jews are pushing on children in our public schools.
Here’s “Sparkle Boy” and here’s the Jew who wrote it, Leslea Newman.
Now, Casey, the book relates, plays with dump trucks, but also likes to wear skirts that sparkle.
That’s fine, the book tells its four-year-old readers.
Let boys be whatever they want to be especially if they want to be girls.
    Here’s “When Kayla Was Kyle”.
Kyle looks like other boys, the book says, but doesn’t “feel like them.” He simply wants to be the “girl” he was “born” to be.
Will his parents sympathize with his plight? the book asks.
Landing on the side of supportive parents, the book instructs teachers to embolden children to make their own “gender diversity choices.”
How about, “When Aidan Became a Brother”?
Aidan is a black child who was born a girl but “discovered” she was really a boy.
How she made this “discovery” the book doesn’t say.
Yet her parents are thrilled with her “discovery” and changes her vagina into a penis.
How they did this the book doesn’t say.
But once done, Aiden “settles happily into her new life” as a boy.
Here’s “The Flower Girl Wore Celery”.
Emma can’t wait to be the flower girl at her Aunt Hannah’s wedding.
She plans on carrying the wedding ring to the male groom.
    But surprise!
For when she brings the ring, Aunt Hanna is marrying a woman, not a man, and Emma the flower girl gets to experience an “emerging” new trend!
Then we got, “Pride: The Story of Harvey Milk and the Rainbow Flag”
Harvey Milk is hailed as a “hero” of a “new and exciting lifestyle” of anal sex between men.
Milk, now dead, was a Jew and his “coming out,” the book says, was inaugurated by the “pride” flag.
The book doesn’t tell us though of the reported accusations by underage boys that Harvey Milk allegedly molested.
But “pride” with its criminal and deviant acts is “protected” by the “protected class” known as Jews.
And for high-schoolers here’s, “Wedding Cake, Same-Sex Marriage and Discrimination”
The book asks the students if bakeries, such as “Masterpiece Bakery” in Colorado, have a Constitutional right to discriminate against same-sex couples?
Then railing on the “bigoted” religious views of the owner of Masterpiece Bakery, the book says “No! religious bigots have no Constitutional rights who discriminate against same sex couples.”
Now what the hell is this?
The ADL insists that JewTube can ban whoever they want because it’s a “private” company.
But a tiny bakery on Main Street gets screwed in classic Jewish fashion.
You see, the First Amendment only applies to the “protected class”–Jews–not to Christians and the goyim.
Now how pushing sexual deviancy on children, and teaching teens to hate Christians helps the ADL protect Jews from defamation, which is their stated mission, is anybody’s guess.
Unless, by corrupting the morals of Gentile youth, emasculating their male vigor, and turning its teens into haters of the authentic Christian religion, (which Jews fear), they’re guaranteed complete Jewish totalitarianism only one generation away.
‘Cause we’re living in a Jew-ruined world and the ADL is just one culture-wrecking girl.
We need to rethink all this crap about the ‘chosen’ people.
We either die worshiping them or we live kicking them out.
Send them to the homosexual capital of the world, Tel Aviv. They’ll be happy there.
Yeah, let them “settle happily” with their fellow monkey demons in the eternal fires of hell.
–
+BN of the cuff
Hey, coffee time. Alright, snow on it. It’s cold.
Alright, you see, the ADL says you can’t force views on people who are different, like men who want to be women, I mean cross-dressers, and those who want to have same-sex relations, don’t force anything.
Okay, fine, no one’s going to force anything in our American scene. BUT, the ADL is trying to FORCE us to support something we disagree with.
Well, they want it both ways.
Hypocrisy is their hallmark. Sometimes the hypocrisy is subtle, sometimes it’s in your face.
But what they’re doing with children in our schools is way too far even for those who might be inclined to support homosexual stuff.
Recently a group of pediatricians announced that pushing sex changes on children is “child abuse.”
If that’s the case, and it is, the ADL is the BIGGEST child abuser of them all.
Now I, for one, see right through them.
I’m going to see their fall.
    Help me fight.

My gratitude to Brat geokat for delivering Brother Nathanael’s following Uncontrolled & Free In The Christ’s Thought: “… the ADL is the BIGGEST child abuser of them all. Now I, for one, see right through them. I’m going to see their fall. Help me fight.”

    Hey geo!

Although a continent apart, am in the trenches with him.

As you and Brother Nathanael know, there’s a price exacted when an individual freeman decides to fight ADL’s diabolical social engineering, especially while employed in Amerika’s Zio-‘guvmint sector and it’s dystopian Corporate culture. Shall offer a personal & disturbing work example.

To reiterate a fact, am a part-time public school bus driver. About 6 weeks ago, I learned about the unexpected passing away of a 2nd grade female student’s father who I shall call Carolina.

So deeply hurt, I learned Carolina began talking about suicide among classmates. The school intervened, best they legally could to help with her intense grief.

One day, upon borading my school bus & accompanied by her grandmother, Carolina approached me, smiled, and asked, “Chuck, can I give you a Philadelphia Eagles cup for Christmas?”
Very touched, I replied “Sure, my dear, I would love the gift of a cup like that.” She cheerfully replied, “Oh good, I will steal one from our kitchen cupboard.”😲

Stunned, I rose from driver seat to ensure all kids were properly seated & safe, and I stopped to momentarily tell Carolina, “Please sweetheart, don’t steal the cup because doing so is not good.” Respectfully, I cusped my right hand upon the rear of her head.”

A few days later, all hell broke loose when Carolina complained to her Elementary school teacher that I (unwarrantedly) touched her.😟 Next ball dropped and my company was asked to provide the bus interior video which allegedly would include evidence of my (argh) “abuse.”

The school bus video & audio failed to function that day, and naturally my good company dispatcher was required to call me in and interrogate me about the prohibited “touching.” In awe and with chin up, I immediately confessed to having patted the rear of Carolina’s head, and was informed to await a school district’s discernment & final judgement on my “crime.”😲

To date, Brat geo, am still school bus driving, and I reckon my country’s ADL controllers would have cheerleaded my firing. Moral of this comment: There is a big cost to be paid by a principled employee who chooses to openly resist & reject ADL’s rotten fucking & war mongering gifts👺 to society.

No doubt, as present in Phil’s article, it is the end of American society as I knew it. Thanks, geo, for giving me a hearing.

  151. I think Giraldi leaves out some important aspects of the situation, i.e., the actual power-relations within the world of Washington and what is called the “Deep State.” The Deep State is a network of interests that is a virtual dictatorship like the Roman Emperor but instead of a person there is virtual “person” who “directs” all policies as if “he” was a person. This is a System of systems. Because this insanity grew out of the coup of 1963 it has grown up distorted and, at heart, toxic to the nation of the United States. But the System operates ONLY considering the interests of those who make up the System. For starters, it consists of the military-security industrial complex, the health-care, energy, finance, real-estate, media (entertainment and “news”), agriculture, chemical, industries as well as the “justice” sector that consists of prosecutors, judges, police, and jailers plus, last but not least, good ole’ organized crime. All these elements are part of the Deep State and all have similar requests of the administrative system of this “state” consisting of crooked lawyers, lobbyists, political operatives, and gunsels that make up the unofficial keepers of the virtual Emperors “peace” among these various sectors. All are protected by the System and pledge fealty to it and all agree to stop any change. That’s why universal health-care and other rather simple and relatively harmless reforms are resisted with “both-barrels” by the media and politicians. Above all, the System depends on external threats to maintain itself.

Trump is hated by all because he is bad PR for the System whereas Obama was perfect. But as time has passed this system becomes increasingly corrupt and those that profit from it increasingly criminal in intent and actions both in their public and private lives. Because the USA has an increasingly lame educational system that encourages conformity and passivity there’s little hope that anything will change. If there is to be leadership in the world that would put us in a positive direction it can’t come from Washington a den of thieves and vicious swamp creatures who are capable of all imaginable cruelty and perversions and anyone who blows the whistle will be hurt. On the positive side, other than the usual true-believers that swarm in the fetid swamp, no group wants nuclear war or serious shooting wars that are bad for “bidness” as we used to say.

They are not even aware of their own American exceptionalism.

The kerfluffel over the discussion to purchase (not “”take”) is/was mostly Trump derangement.

The issue is reminiscent of Seward’s purchase of Alaska from Russia in 1867, and offers similar benefits. While I’m no fan of the concept of “exceptionalism” as a guide to international politics, I don’t think you should reject a sensible policy just because it might be seen as politically incorrect. The policy should be debated on its merits.

On the one hand, if Denmark offered to sell Greenland to the US at an “affordable” price, any US administration would be a pack of fools not to decline such an offer. OTOH, a Danish administration that would put Greenland on the market in the first place would be a pack of idiots (or under extreme duress.)

This whole episode was just much ado over a very unlikely hypothetical, i.e., nothing.

  154. Here is the thing that the Europeans are going to learn sooner or later. It has been going on since after 2001. Washington is determined to take more and more wealth from everyone including the people of this country and its “allies,” except its favorite buddy. Washington is making more demands on every one and is taking away people’s freedoms. This is reflected in the continuously expanding regulations with increasing complexity. The complexity helps them trap people into illegality and into the criminal just us system. They are doing it to the people of Europe, SK, Australia, Japan and others. It is just a matter of time when the world will realize enough is enough, hopefully before it is too late.

Past experience has shown that political action is usually necessary to counter environmental irresponsibility, and political action is the only antidote, even if, like everything else, it’s easily corrupted.

    https://www.npr.org/2019/10/12/768935251/trump-ukraine-and-the-path-to-the-impeachment-inquiry-a-timeline

9:03 a.m. to 9:33 a.m.: Trump and Zelenskiy speak. According to the Ukrainian readout of the call, the two leaders discuss “investigation of corruption cases.” It also mentions a planned visit by Zelenskiy to the U.S. The U.S. readout of the call also mentions a meeting.
While on the call, Zelenskiy mentions wanting to purchase anti-tank missiles from the U.S., according to a rough transcript of the call released by the White House. Trump responds, “I would like you to do us a favor though.” Trump brings up investigating both the CrowdStrike conspiracy theory and the Bidens. He repeatedly tells Zelenskiy he should talk to Giuliani and Attorney General Barr.

    • 9:03 am – Hijackers crash United Airlines Flight 175 into floors 75-85 of the WTC’s South Tower, killing everyone on board and hundreds inside the building

Why 9:03 am for both? Zionists love to shove things into our faces. If we are too stupid to see things as it is,then we are really are stupid goyim.

This impeachment charade is all about Zionists in the US worried about their new colony in Ukraine. Zion Ukraine has a Jewish president. Shabbos Goys are not trusted to hold top positions in this new Zion territory. Poroshenko, had a Jewish father. This Zelensky is even better, he had both parents who are Jewish.

    https://www.tabletmag.com/jewish-news-and-politics/290021/from-ukraine-to-israel-and-back-again

There was enough symbolism in the meeting between the head of the Jewish state and the Jewish head of Ukraine “to choke a horse,” according to one observer. But there were also practical and tangible matters, some lofty and others not as much—including the upcoming elections in Israel, and the political theater in which both leaders are practiced. Netanyahu and Zelensky, who are both leading countries engaged in uniquely modern forms of hybrid warfare, discussed business and history, and the business of history, as well as increasing military and economic cooperation.

This “meeting” of two Zion rulers was on August 19 2019. Notice that the “whistleblower” “leaked” the complaint in late August. Was this impeachment charade one of the “hybrid warfare” games that the two Zionist rulers talked about on 8.19.19 ?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment_inquiry_against_Donald_Trump

Believing critical military aid would be revoked, Zelensky made plans to announce investigations of the Bidens on the September 13 episode of CNN’s Fareed Zakaria GPS.[5] After Trump was told of the whistleblower complaint in late August,[7] and elements of the events had begun to leak, the aid was released on September 11 and the planned interview was cancelled.[5] Trump declassified a non-verbatim transcript of the call on September 24,[6][8] the day the impeachment inquiry began. The whistleblower’s complaint was given to Congress the following day and subsequently released to the public.[9] The White House corroborated several of the allegations, including that a record of the call between Trump and Zelensky had been stored in a highly restricted system in the White House normally reserved for classified information.[10][11]

But how did these inert crash-test dummies wind up competing to vilify Russia? Where did they get the DOUBLEPLUSGOOD NEWSPEAK that Russia is the enemy? Wherever did they get that stupid idea?

The Steele reports failed the laugh test at FBI, so McCain went over their heads and gave them to Comey. And where did McCain get them from? David Kramer. Did you know Kramer? He was a CIA spook like you, just not in your part of the world.

Russia burned Kramer with their legal assistance request, remember? It was a genius diplomatic dick move. In an obvious, undeniable tell, the Mockingbird media did not name him, alone among the dumb pantsed sad sacks on the list. But his ass was burned. So failed spook Kramer had to go to an underdeveloped shithole country where the primitive natives are too stupid to catch him. Kramer became an illegal secret agent in the US government. A focal point, as Dulles used to call them in the good old days.

First Kramer went and did the CIA’s most crucial domestic dirty work, concocting legal pretexts for manifestly illegal acts, as the treaty bodies put it. At DRL, in the run-up to the US CAT review. CIA installed him at State to dream up reasons why simulated live burial and strappado and dick-slitting and waterboarding is Okey-dokey under the CAT. That is CIA’s vital interest and prime directive: maintain CIA impunity.

Then Kramer went “undercover” in the US legislature as CIA used to say, and fed McCain his pap as the old man’s brain turned to sticky globs of cancer. And he sent McCain’s last brain cells shambling off to Comey like an ant with fungus growing out its head, to put out CIA’s illegal war propaganda and domestic political intervention.

Again and again and again, the trail goes straight back to CIA. Russian war propaganda comes from CIA. Come on. The agency you worked for is the cancer. The Stasi. Unless we burn it down your life is wasted, your good intentions are worth shit. Face it, CIA has got to go.

Germany is a democracy of limited sovereignty, to put it mildly, with an effective unity party from Merkel’s “conservative” CDU, over the social democrats and Greens, to even the communist Die Linke (the rebranded formerly ruling party of the GDR, the SED); excluding the new right populist AfD which is a Zionist party nonetheless.

A few politicians inside the AfD were the only ones to ever suggest Germany should leave NATO and form a defensive pact with Russia. It was completely dismissed. The argument was that Germany would get the “bringing freedom and democracy” treatment; the entire might of the nation wrecking MIC would crash down on Germany with full force.

Now the only question for me remains how this is not an argument against NATO and if we will finally see a smart and tough generation of European leaders who will finally replace NATO with a European Army.

How is it the veritable case that my “Homeland’s” #1 ally, Israel,👺enjoys close relations with the ZUS arch adversaries, Russia and China? Are average Americans simply & totally duped?

Hey, brat Chuck. Duping the American people? Perish the thought, lol!

Here are a couple of examples from the article where the duping is laid on heavy:

The United States has also previously warned Israel against deepening business ties with China, citing “security implications.”

Last year, US officials warned Tel Aviv that “the United States could not be friends with a country for which China was building ports.”

Could you even imagine a scenario in which the Trumpstein Administration chuck full of Supremacist Jews would deign to warn their Jewish Supremacist counterparts? Pulleez!

    German called them “Pancerfast”

They called them Panzerfaust – Link to Encyclopedia Britannica

Excerpt: “The Panzerfaust 100, which entered service in November 1944, weighed 5 kg (11 pounds), was 104 cm (41 inches) long, and launched a grenade containing 1.6 kg (3.5 pounds) of high explosive. The fourth and last model, which was ready by early 1945, could fire 10 grenades in succession before becoming useless.”

fyi, linked below is last night’s report regarding a machete attack at an upstate New York synagogue.

Glad you mentioned this attack, Chuck.

It appears that blacks are largely responsible for this spike of attacks against the Jewish community in NYC/NJC, not white supremacists.

But what does mayor de Blasio go and do? Why, he naturally announces the establishment of a new police unit to… you guessed it… track down white supremacists!

Excerpt from Responding To Jersey City Shooting, Mayor Launches New Unit To Tackle Extremism:

The mayor’s focus on right-wing anti-Semitism, which the Anti-Defamation League said was tied to all extremist-related murders in the United States in 2018, is at the core of the new NYPD unit. Named REME for “Racially and Ethnically Motivated Extremism,” the unit will bring together staff from several city agencies already working on hate crimes to share information and coordinate investigations and prevention. The unit will be housed in the intelligence unit, part of the NYPD, and will be staffed by about 25 people.

    https://jewishweek.timesofisrael.com/responding-to-jersey-city-shooting-mayor-launches-new-unit-to-tackle-extremism/

The article does reluctantly acknowledge that blacks have committed a number of the attacks, but struggles to identify any motivations. Here’s how they put it:

At press time, their motivations remain murky.

If I had to speculate about motivations, I would tend to lean toward more and more of the black community becoming increasingly aware of the central role played by Supremacist Jews in the transatlantic slave trade and the fact that twice as many Jewish households were slaveowners compared to white households, on a percentage basis.

Over the coming months, it’s going to be very interesting to see if Jewish Supremacist Organizations (JSOs) can manage to maintain the delicate balance in Black/Jewish relations, especially if more of these attacks take place.

    Hi geo!

Very interesting. Hm. The ZUS’s black community percentage which are “increasingly aware of the central role played by Supremacist Jews in the transatlantic slave trade…” 🤔

My “Homeland” ain’t going to get even stilted Opinion Poll cellphone calls on this issue.

I reckon that JSO’s will continue to task the Zionist Corporate Media & ever reliable Shabbos goy de Blasio-characters with the mission 👺to establish a “murky” consensus of how Amerikans ought to misperceive the actual imbalance of Black/Jewish relations.

Admittedly, I give the fuckers too much credit, but JSOs are obsessed with controlling the dumb goyim’s, including all races & creeds, vital PERCEPTTON. (argh)

A case in point. In order to increase enlistment of blacks & even whites who want to be black😳 the ZUS Army is using very cool rap music TV ads to do the trick.

So in conclusion & taking off from Phil’s article title, it is “An End to the Murky World as We think we Knew It.” Thanks, geo!

Everyone speaks about Christmas traditions coming from other traditions. Hanukkah menorah, the nine branch one, is most likely coming from the old Iranian religion of Zoroaster.

    https://www.haaretz.com/jewish/.premium-the-more-likely-explanation-of-the-menorah-1.5346542

No mentions of a menorah being used in the earliest accounts of Hanukkah.

When exactly Jews started lighting menorahs, today usually eight-branched candelabra with a ninth “shamash” candle, is unknown. There is no mention of menorahs in the earliest known account of Hanukkah, 1 Maccabees, which describes the rededication of the Second Temple after a Maccabean victory and the decree that the anniversary of that day would be a holiday – Hanukkah. Nor does the text say how Hanukkah should be celebrated, though in all likelihood, it was marked with animal sacrifice at the Jerusalem Temple, as all other Jewish holidays at the time were celebrated.

The reason is that it is most likely an adoption of the Zoroastrian Festival of Fire.

So where did the tradition of the menorah come from? Conservative Jewish authorities would have been unlikely to create a new tradition with no biblical reference. The more likely explanation is that Jewish households adopted the practice from pagan ritual, following which the authorities gave the practice a “Jewish explanation” after the fact. The Zoroastrians of Persia for instance marked the Winter Solstice with a festival of fire, called Chaharshanbe Suri, which predated Hanukkah and fell at about the same time of year. That. or some pagan mid-winter tradition, influenced Jews into lighting fire on Hanukkah.

This is ironic since Iran is in the crosshairs of “what is best for the Jews” agenda. An Iranian concept celebrated everywhere on a grand scale all over the Jewish ruled world. Yet, the Jewish rulers want to destroy Iran at the same time.
