Among the myriad, earth-shattering geopolitical effects of coronavirus, one is already graphically evident. China has re-positioned itself. For the first time since the start of Deng Xiaoping’s reforms in 1978, Beijing openly regards the US as a threat, as stated a month ago by Foreign Minister Wang Yi at the Munich Security Conference during the peak of the fight against coronavirus.

Beijing is carefully, incrementally shaping the narrative that, from the beginning of the coronovirus attack, the leadership knew it was under a hybrid war attack. Xi’s terminology is a major clue. He said, on the record, that this was war. And, as a counter-attack, a “people’s war” had to be launched.

Moreover, he described the virus as a demon or devil. Xi is a Confucianist. Unlike some other ancient Chinese thinkers, Confucius was loath to discuss supernatural forces and judgment in the afterlife. However, in a Chinese cultural context, devil means “white devils” or “foreign devils”: guailo in Mandarin, gweilo in Cantonese. This was Xi delivering a powerful statement in code.

When Zhao Lijian, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, voiced in an incandescent tweet the possibility that “it might be US Army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan” – the first blast to this effect to come from a top official – Beijing was sending up a trial balloon signaliing that the gloves were finally off. Zhao Lijian made a direct connection with the Military Games in Wuhan in October 2019, which included a delegation of 300 US military.

He directly quoted US CDC director Robert Redfield who, when asked last week whether some deaths by coronavirus had been discovered posthumously in the US, replied that “some cases have actually been diagnosed this way in the US today.”

Zhao’s explosive conclusion is that Covid-19 was already in effect in the US before being identified in Wuhan – due to the by now fully documented inability of US to test and verify differences compared with the flu.

Adding all that to the fact that coronavirus genome variations in Iran and Italy were sequenced and it was revealed they do not belong to the variety that infected Wuhan, Chinese media are now openly asking questions and drawing a connection with the shutting down in August last year of the “unsafe” military bioweapon lab at Fort Detrick, the Military Games, and the Wuhan epidemic. Some of these questions had been asked – with no response – inside the US itself.

Extra questions linger about the opaque Event 201 in New York on October 18, 2019: a rehearsal for a worldwide pandemic caused by a deadly virus – which happened to be coronavirus. This magnificent coincidence happened one month before the outbreak in Wuhan.

Event 201 was sponsored by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the World Economic Forum (WEF), the CIA, Bloomberg, John Hopkins Foundation and the UN. The World Military Games opened in Wuhan on the exact same day.

Irrespective of its origin, which is still not conclusively established, as much as Trump tweets about the “Chinese virus,” Covid-19 already poses immensely serious questions about biopolitics (where’s Foucault when we need him?) and bio-terror.

The working hypothesis of coronavirus as a very powerful but not Armageddon-provoking bio-weapon unveils it as a perfect vehicle for widespread social control – on a global scale.

Cuba rises as a biotech power

Just as a fully masked Xi visiting the Wuhan frontline last week was a graphic demonstration to the whole planet that China, with immense sacrifice, is winning the “people‘s war” against Covid-19, Russia, in a Sun Tzu move on Riyadh whose end result was a much cheaper barrel of oil, helped for all practical purposes to kick-start the inevitable recovery of the Chinese economy. This is how a strategic partnership works.

The chessboard is changing at breakneck speed. Once Beijing identified coronavirus as a bio-weapon attack the “people’s war” was launched with the full force of the state. Methodically. On a “whatever it takes” basis. Now we are entering a new stage, which will be used by Beijing to substantially recalibrate the interaction with the West, and under very different frameworks when it comes to the US and the EU.

Soft power is paramount. Beijing sent an Air China flight to Italy carrying 2,300 big boxes full of masks bearing the script, “We are waves from the same sea, leaves from the same tree, flowers from the same garden.” China also sent a hefty humanitarian package to Iran, significantly aboard eight flights from Mahan Air – an airline under illegal, unilateral Trump administration sanctions.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic could not have been more explicit: “The only country that can help us is China. By now, you all understood that European solidarity does not exist. That was a fairy tale on paper.”

Under harsh sanctions and demonized since forever, Cuba is still able to perform breakthroughs – even on biotechnology. The anti-viral Heberon – or Interferon Alpha 2b – a therapeutic, not a vaccine, has been used with great success in the treatment of coronavirus. A joint venture in China is producing an inhalable version, and at least 15 nations are already interested in importing the therapeutic.

Now compare all of the above with the Trump administration offering $1 billion to poach German scientists working at biotech firm Curevac, based in Thuringia, on an experimental vaccine against Covid-19, to have it as a vaccine “only for the United States.”

Social engineering psy-op?

Sandro Mezzadra, co-author with Brett Neilson of the seminal The Politics of Operations: Excavating Contemporary Capitalism, is already trying to conceptualize where we stand now in terms of fighting Covid-19.

We are facing a choice between a Malthusian strand – inspired by social Darwinism – “led by the Johnson-Trump-Bolsonaro axis” and, on the other side, a strand pointing to the “requalification of public health as a fundamental tool,” exemplified by China, South Korea and Italy. There are key lessons to be learned from South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore.

ORDER IT NOW

The stark option, Mezzadra notes, is between a “natural population selection,” with thousands of dead, and “defending society” by employing “variable degrees of authoritarianism and social control.” It’s easy to imagine who stands to benefit from this social re-engineering, a 21st century remix of Poe’s The Masque of the Red Death.

Amid so much doom and gloom, count on Italy to offer us Tiepolo-style shades of light. Italy chose the Wuhan option, with immensely serious consequences for its already fragile economy. Quarantined Italians remarkably reacted by singing on their balconies: a true act of metaphysical revolt.

Not to mention the poetic justice of the actual St. Corona (“crown” in Latin) being buried in the city of Anzu since the 9th century. St. Corona was a Christian killed under Marcus Aurelius in 165 AD, and has been for centuries one of the patron saints of pandemics.

Not even trillions of dollars raining from the sky by an act of divine Fed mercy were able to cure Covid-19. G-7 “leaders” had to resort to a videoconference to realize how clueless they are – even as China’s fight against coronavirus gave the West a head start of several weeks.

Shanghai-based Dr. Zhang Wenhong, one of China’s top infectious disease experts, whose analyses have been spot on so far, now says China has emerged from the darkest days in the “people’s war” against Covid-19. But he does not think this will be over by summer. Now extrapolate what he’s saying to the Western world.

It’s not even spring yet, and we already know it takes a virus to mercilessly shatter the Goddess of the Market. Last Friday, Goldman Sachs told no fewer than 1,500 corporations that there was no systemic risk. That was false.

New York banking sources told me the truth: systemic risk became way more severe in 2020 than in 1979, 1987 or 2008 because of the hugely heightened danger that the $1.5 quadrillion derivative market would collapse.

As the sources put it, history had never before seen anything like the Fed’s intervention via its little understood elimination of commercial bank reserve requirements, unleashing a potential unlimited expansion of credit to prevent a derivative implosion stemming from a total commodity and stock market collapse of all stocks around the world.

Those bankers thought it would work, but as we know by now all the sound and fury signified nothing. The ghost of a derivative implosion – in this case not caused by the previous possibility, the shutting down of the Strait of Hormuz – remains.

We are still barely starting to understand the consequences of Covid-19 for the future of neoliberal turbo-capitalism. What’s certain is that the whole global economy has been hit by an insidious, literally invisible circuit breaker. This may be just a “coincidence.” Or this may be, as some are boldly arguing, part of a possible, massive psy-op creating the perfect geopolitlcal and social engineering environment for full-spectrum dominance.

Additionally, along the hard slog down the road, with immense, inbuilt human and economic sacrifice, with or without a reboot of the world-system, a more pressing question remains: will imperial elites still choose to keep waging full-spectrum-dominance hybrid war against China?

The most troubling aspect about the corona virus for me has been the naming convention. At the beginning I thought that it deserved the name “Chinese influenza” – kind of paying homage to the Spanish influenza that killed 70 million people. I thought that the reason why they didn’t do it – is because there are many illiterates in the west (read US), who might misunderstand it and read it as Chinese influence – and we know that US doesn’t want any kind of Chinese influence at all. Now that the virus is moving to North America, I thought that they might come out clean and name it Budweiser virus instead of Corona, but I guess that would require way too much honesty.

The Chinese maybe many things but stupid isn’t one of them. They know that the US is run by dual national Jews whose loyalty goes only to themselves.
Hopefully, as a result of this bio-weapons attack they will realize that it isn’t the average American who is their mortal enemy, but Jews.

  5. I am amazed that nobody wants to answer these most obvious, important questions:

    1. When did patient zero begin in the US?

    2. How many people are infected?

    3. What are the names of the hospitals?

    4. Why were US health authorities forbidden to test for Covid-19 after WHO issued a Red Alert January 1?

    5. Why does the CDC classify its coronavirus deliberations?

    6. Why are Coronavirus meetings at HHS held in Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facilities, which are usually reserved for intelligence and military operations?

From New Eastern Outlook: “We can make some blanket statements about COVID 19 and will do so now:
The capability to create COVID 19 exists
The will to create COVID 19 exists
The intelligence and humanity required to not create COVID 19 does not exist
The will to experiment through infecting the general public with a pathogen such as COVID 19 exists and has extensive historical precedent
“Black funded” laboratories operating under cover of animal diseases research or biological warfare defense facilities, run by the US, British, Israeli and other governments, are not only capable of creating COVID 19 but are evidenced as being funded for exactly this type of program
Simply put, there are actors out there that can and would unleash a global pandemic as a component in a long term “chaos theory” operation.”

Hopefully, as a result of this Jihadi bio-weapons attack they will realize that it isn’t the average American who is their mortal enemy, but Islamists.

  7. Took them long enough. That one chemical factory explosion that left a smoking inverted cone shaped hole in the ground should have been a visible signal.
The actions taken against Huawei, including having Canada arrest an executive.
The Freedom of Navigation cruises (that were budgeted to cost the USA over $1.7B for 2019).
Maybe they were waiting for a top PLA general to get assassinated by drone somewhere in Africa as part of a State visit.

  8. China needs to keep moving forward. All it has to do to win is survive and keep growing.

If China can get its energy supply under control, it will be very difficult to stop them. The US is reduced to economic sabotage and various other types of abuse.

I’m keeping an eye on their LFTR program. They are supposed to get a Liquid Floride Thorium Reactor going sometime in 2020.

It also looks like they may be attempting to mine Helium-4 on the moon for a fusion program.

    Hard to get information though.

    1. When did patient zero begin in the US?

Patient Zero in the US, a 35 year old man who lives alone, returned to Snohomish County, WA on Jan. 15 after visiting family in Wuhan, China. On Jan. 19 he visited a local clinic with flu like symptoms and a fever. He was checked into a hospital in Snohomish County and remained there for two weeks before being discharged.

    2. How many people are infected?

So far, the Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center has been able to trace 39 people to Patient Zero who showed identical strand of genetic sequence. This one effer infected at least 39 people. From there, it took off. On Feb. 19, two people were identified as the first deaths connected to coronavirus in the US, both were residents of the Life Care Center in Kirkland, close to the border of Snohomish County.

    3. What are the names of the hospitals?

Evergreen Hospital of Kirkland treated the first two deaths, and all subsequent 28 deaths from the same Life Care Center in Kirkland, all died of coronavirus.

Over 1,000 have now tested positive in WA state, with 51 deaths, all could potentially be traced back to this one mother-effer from China. What I want to know is, why isn’t he arrested and charged with murder by now. At the very least, he should be deported with a permanent ban from the US.

In fact, I hope Trump makes the ban of Chinese travelers permanent, and send packing all their citizens currently residing in the US, incl. those who have taken up US citizenship. They should be stripped of their citizenship, many of which are obtained fraudulently, like through birth tourism or EB5 scams. These people will never be loyal to the US.

Now, you see something of what we have to stand doing the vaccination (immunization).

Imagine that this “Coronavirus epidemic” is big scale model of what is happening in our body when we get the vaccines; the pandemic outbreak of foreign genome.

    Let’s look at what happens.
Within a few minutes to a few hours after the vaccination you take immediately into your gene pool the foreign modified and combined vaccine-borne genome. Mild Symptoms shortly after the vaccination is the indication of the immunized collision between Human DNA and Virus’s.
Study specific data shows that the human genome inherits up to 15-20% of virus DNA. Once infectious diseases are finished, your immune system naturally filters and singles out the vital portion of foreign genetic material and gets it inside the Human DNA. This is a good piece of foreign DNA embedded in Human’s.
But it is another thing that after the vaccination you take immediately into your gene pool the foreign modified and combined vaccine-borne genome which is not controllable by our Immune System at the time.
At the end of the day you are ready-made dress form.

It will be recalled that COVID-19 is the binary virus, of two combined portions, HIV and Corona. It means it was made for the Adult and Elderly Vaccination.

Fact: due to the increased communist centralization of its economy under the Chinese nations latest version of an idiot totalitarian dictator [Xi], the Chinese economy was already imploding prior to the mysterious appearance of cv-19 on the scene.

Because , due to that increased economic centralization, living standards were falling for the average Chinese citizen, there was considerable unrest in the mainland, [exacerbated/encouraged by the Hong Kong situation, I would imagine].

Fact: the outbreak of cv-19 in Wuhan was the perfect excuse for the Chinese idiot totalitarian dictator to clamp down even harder on the Chinese economy, and at the same time crush all dissidents who were increasing in number due to their own increased pre-existing economic hardship.

Fact : according to professor Francis Boyle [apparently the chief author /designer of an international bio-weapons limitation agreement of some kind], cv-19 was originally designed in a lab at a North Carolina university, and then sold to the Chinese government in 2015. It was then further weaponized by the Chinese, [according to him] via something called a “gain of function” methodology.

    See:https://banned.video/watch?id=5e61749ff40ae500aa048732

Fact: the more that other nations imitate the clampdowns that occurred in China, the more they further centralize their own [already way over-centralized ] economies, using the “cv-19 pandemic” excuse, the poorer and less free the citizens of those countries will become, and the more likely it becomes that the dream that communists/ collectivists worldwide apparently continually masturbate over, that is :”one world government” , will become a terrible reality within a decade.

In the US, there’s supposed to be a collection of fundamental laws called “The Bill of Rights” , to protect against economic centralization and the resultant loss of individual freedom via a “pandemic”, or via any other, “emergency” excuse .

However, as always , Trump or no Trump, “stupid is as stupid does”. And so it goes….

Escobar has caused me to admire the way the Chinese are building an infrastructure, the BRI, to gain control over what Sir Halford Mackinder called the world island. It’s really an amazing story. Was coronavirus part of a hybrid war launched against China by the Empire to take back control? I’m still waiting for a Sy Hersh to dispassionately lay out all the facts, and will hold out for an unambiguous conclusion that the USA actually launched a bioengineered viral attack on China (knowing it would come back in spades to Europe and to the homeland). Is Ron Unz standing by all the inferences in these many articles he’s published of late linking coronavirus to such an attack, or are we just hearing ghost stories?

This epidemic is the result of an accidental release from the Wuhan virology laboratory. Scientists at the Wuhan facility were experimenting with a SARS-like bat corona virus that would not jump to humans in 2008. They used material from HIV to augment the protein coat of the bat virus that resulted in a virus that could infect humans. CoVID19 is that virus. The Chinese screwed up and they know they screwed up.

And rightly so, as the incompetent war mongering blunder heads in Trump’s administration would love to do a Ukraine on China, so they could slither in during all the confusion and steal China’s 8,000+ tons of gold. Just like they stole Iraq’s and Libya’s gold. Those WH idiots are jealous that China actually has functioning economy that isn’t being looted every 10 or so by a certain group of gangsters and they have a universal medical system that enabled China to beat back Corona.

Their lust for gold almost makes them ore junkies. Maybe they’re taking some of that gold to Israel’s Negev Desert, where they smelted it down into a golden calf?

COVID-19 has done wonders for popping the bloated DOW bubble, with no blame on those TBTF Wall Street Casinos who AGAIN, have placed hundreds of trillions on bad bets, and now want the WH to save the from their greed & stupidity with the injection of hundreds of billions, so they can recover enough to get back to looting America.

While slinging that loot around, Trump’s biggest backer, the Jew American casino magnate, Sheldon Adelson will also get some of the plunder, since America doesn’t need a functioning CDC/medical health system, but does need casinos. Wuhan people did the same thing at earlier time. They sung national anthem and other songs alike on their balconies to express their emotions: bravery to beat the virus, confidence in the nation and the people, optimistic and encouraging attitude, being socially involved connected and greeting the neighbors, show off the talent, kudo on the internet.
I believe Italians were doing the same thing. Cheer up and life goes on.

It’s a tricky one to manage for Xi since it is most likely that China was well aware that this was a coordinated bio-weapons attack, hence the rapid shutting down of entire cities and provinces. They are in a politically tight spot, because if they already have substantial evidence, to formally acknowledge to the people that this was in fact a bio-weapon attack on China, it would be tantamount to being faced with a declaration of war. The people will want revenge, they will want blood. So the only thing for them to do in the meantime is to take the blow and remain silent unless further provoked. Samples collected from ground zero in Huanan seafood market are a testament of that, with huge viral loads being found in numerous aquatic and fish tanks, so unless they want us to believe that the Chinese are keeping their bats or pangolins in water tanks.

The US has been trying its hardest to paint China in a bad light, thus one would think that they would be openly trying to promote the theory that this was a bio-weapon that was made in China. But prior to the worldwide spread and declaration of a pandemic, they have not only been mostly silent on this, even strongly condemning any links to the coronavirus being manmade. Why? Because they probably realize that China already knows who’s really behind it and most likely already have concrete evidence to back up their claims. But recently after the worldwide spread and failed containment of the virus, they are faced with the condemnation and rumors from US senators, WH officials and media alike who are trying their hardest for the world to pin the blame on China and that this was their bio-weapon leak. The Chinese have been forced to respond to some degree, namely the statements by Chinese spokesman Zhao Lijian, who is basically warning the west to back off, and the questions he posed to the US are legitimate, but instead of answering those questions, Pompeo and the like have just resulted to name calling.

    8. Why does the U.S. respond so ineptly to emergencies? For example, Hurricane Katrina. Every agency (except the Coast Guard) fell into bureaucratic gridlock.

Coronavirus is certainly a useful way to deflate a speculative bubble. The virus gets the blame rather the Dumpers in the Pump and Dump cycle.

Governments have decided to shut down their economies – which is in line with obsessive health and safety culture. In times past, flu variants would burn themselves out as host populations gained immunity. This time, people will probably still catch it anyway, while facing unemployment and bankruptcy.

No question that the Corona virus is putting the whole neoliberal world order under stress. The NWO needs globalization, debt , open frontiers and a petrodollar and they’re all in trouble. Global trade has stopped. Can the public carry more debt? Frontiers are closing around the world. Oil has never had such an extreme demand/supply imbalance.

Would the NWO people (corporate globalists) do this to themselves through a planned Coronavirus 9/11 style “Event” to further extend their control of society? They can now extend their control but to do what exactly? The SWJ/racism conversation has completely disappeared and the Coronavirus is uniting populations in the crisis rather than dividing them.

Which makes it very unlikely that the Coronavirus was a planned 9/11 style “Event” to further remove civil liberties. The virus reaction is rebuilding nationalism, closing frontiers and crashing the wealth of elites. Elites may still try to use it to remove civil liberties but it doesn’t look like it was planned that way. Right now, they seem to be as shocked and confused as everyone else.

If Western governments continue to fail in this challenge, the result may be a default return to localism. Local communities arrange their own governance, schooling, healthcare, policing and pay for it themselves saying goodbye to the corrupt Federal clown show.

The ”dhimmi globalist EU” run by Muslims isn’t even trying. The Chinese don’t care about the EU, which is fairly rational of them since it hardly matters in this crisis, as the Serbian President said. They do have relations with different European countries and if they help in this event with medical supplies the old western alliance is certain to crumble. If this was the 80s, Reagan, Thatcher and Kohl would be co-ordinating responses, but it’s 2020 so Trump is blaming Europe and trying to steal European medical tech.

Nor has China any problems with the Muslim world, and vice versa.

A former CIA officer has been arrested in the US on charges of retaining classified information in a case thought to be linked to the crippling of the agency’s spy operation in China.

Jerry Chun Shing Lee, a naturalised US citizen, was held at New York’s JFK airport on Monday, the US justice department said.

This case to me is astounding as the guy was not simply a translator (which would be a reasonable justification to employ an ethnic Han in the CIA) but an actual agent with access to sensitive information

Mr Lee, also known as Zhen Cheng Li, served in the US Army from 1982-86, say court documents.

He began his CIA career in 1994 as a case officer trained in covert communications, surveillance detection, recruitment, and the handling and payment of assets (agents or informants), among other duties. He was given top secret clearance and signed several non-disclosure agreements.

And you can bet there are many naturalised Chinese working in the American defence industry.

You are assuming that it originated in China. My working hypothesis is that, like H1N1, it originated in the US and, like H1N1, was circulating for six months before it was identified.

I also assume that the CDC decided to let its toll be masked by seasonal ‘flu deaths.

Since the CDC Director, Robert Redfield, advocates religion-based AIDS treatment, I assume that he did not know that viruses can be traced back to their origins via their evolutionary characteristics.

That would explain why the CDC refuses to answer China’s questions: when did patient zero begin in the US?  What are the names of the hospitals? How many people are infected?

Wuhan people did the same thing at earlier time. They sung national anthem and other songs alike on their balconies to express their emotions: ” to beat the virus, confidence in the nation and the people, optimistic and encouraging attitude, being socially involved connected and greeting the neighbors, show off the talent, kudo on the internet.

They certainly have motivation. Not doing so in a police state means being flagged as a traitor by Dragon Social Credit Make Good System.

  32. …the fact that coronavirus genome variations in Iran and Italy were sequenced and it was revealed they do not belong to the variety that infected Wuhan…

This is an important part of the puzzle, but it is still too early to already make conclusive inferences. The following article from more than a week ago refers to efforts in tracking the progression of the virus, under the implicit premise it initially originated from one source, which need not necessarily be the case:

    https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2020/03/mutations-can-reveal-how-coronavirus-moves-they-re-easy-overinterpret

Quote, in reference to a virologist who was the first to develop the diagnostic test:

A virologist at the Charité University Hospital in Berlin, he had sequenced the virus from a German patient infected with COVID-19 in Italy. The genome looked similar to that of a virus found in a patient in Munich, the capital of Bavaria, more than 1 month earlier; both shared three mutations not seen in early sequences from China. Drosten realized this could give rise to the idea that the Italian outbreak was “seeded” by the one in Bavaria, which state public health officials said had been quashed by tracing and quarantining all contacts of the 14 confirmed cases. But he thought it was just as likely that a Chinese variant carrying the three mutations had taken independent routes to both countries.

What is not mentioned here is that the initial viral outbreak near Munich was known to have originated from a Chinese female with connections to Wuhan, who had visited a seminar at an auto parts manufacturer, where a few employees became infected, leading to the temporary closure of the company there. So the early Bavarian version of this virus, alluded to above, which appeared similar to the genome presumed to have come from Italy, did surely originate in China.

According to the article, at the time it was compiled, already 350 sequences had been shared on an online platform. Honest journalists need to delve into this particular line of inquiry to make sense of how this has been spreading.

With fellow public health physicians Robert Gallo and William Blattner, Redfield

“He has magnificent credentials in public health. This insight would provide the basis for the most sophisticated form of social control known to man.

Fourteen hundred years later, a decadent French aristocrat turned that tradition on its head when he wrote that “the freest of people are they who are most friendly to murder.” Like St. Augustine, the Marquis de Sade would agree that freedom was a function of morals. Unlike St. Augustine, Sade proposed a revolution in sexual morals to accompany the political revolution then taking place in France.”

  57. I think the article’s author is less than convincing in his thesis.

He basically has woven a tapestry of hints and suggestions, a lot of them wordplay stuff.

The case for the coronavirus being an engineered bio-weapon, made by a number of authors, is quite plausible.

Even the fact that the virus is not as deadly as a great many diseases can be understood as supporting the notion of a weapon, a weapon intended to inconvenience and cost rather than just kill.

But the idea of the US deliberately having used it seems less plausible for several reasons.

First, the risk of its spreading back to the US.

Second, the risk that China with its advanced science would conclusively find that it was a weapon.

Third, such a conclusive finding would raise a lot outrage in the world, in places like Europe, where the US has already lost a great deal of favor and reputation.

Fourth, the risk of effectively opening the Gates of Hell for bio-weapon reprisal.

The fact that the US has now some seriously unbalanced people in leading positions – Pompeo, Trump, et al – does mean that the considerations against use might well be pooh-poohed.

That’s a strong statement to make, but it is sadly the reality of America today.

    My working hypothesis …

    You’re fairly predictable, anyway.

I’ve posted the info below under several COVID-19 “conspiracy theory” articles on unz.com (there’s been a LOT of them), most recently here –> link to comment — but it has mostly been ignored, which shows more than anything that (too) many unz.com commenters are agenda-driven (also in part anti-intellectual):

Link to a 2008 paper/study by Chinese scientists/researchers affiliated with the Wuhan Institute of Virology available on the NIH website –> link to study

    Highlighted excerpts from the abstract:

Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is caused by the SARS-associated coronavirus (SARS-CoV), which uses angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) as its receptor for cell entry. A group of SARS-like CoVs (SL-CoVs) has been identified in horseshoe bats. SL-CoVs and SARS-CoVs share identical genome organizations and high sequence identities, with the main exception of the N terminus of the spike protein (S), known to be responsible for receptor binding in CoVs. In this study, we investigated the receptor usage of the SL-CoV S by combining a human immunodeficiency virus-based pseudovirus system with cell lines expressing the ACE2 molecules of human, civet, or horseshoe bat. In addition to full-length S of SL-CoV and SARS-CoV, a series of S chimeras was constructed by inserting different sequences of the SARS-CoV S into the SL-CoV S backbone. Several important observations were made from this study. First, the SL-CoV S was unable to use any of the three ACE2 molecules as its receptor. Second, the SARS-CoV S failed to enter cells expressing the bat ACE2. Third, the chimeric S covering the previously defined receptor-binding domain gained its ability to enter cells via human ACE2, albeit with different efficiencies for different constructs. Fourth, a minimal insert region (amino acids 310 to 518) was found to be sufficient to convert the SL-CoV S from non-ACE2 binding to human ACE2 binding, indicating that the SL-CoV S is largely compatible with SARS-CoV S protein both in structure and in function. The significance of these findings in relation to virus origin, virus recombination, and host switching is discussed.

So back in 2008, researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology converted a SARS-like coronavirus (SL-CoV) found in bats, which was not able to infect humans, into a virus that could infect humans by changing its (spike) protein cover (S) to include an amino acid sequence from HIV.

    Time will tell, I guess.

Maybe, maybe not (Seth Rich, Epstein, et al, etc) — personally, I’m agnostic on the subject of COVID-19: its origin, how it first infected humans, its epidemiological spread — I simply haven’t seen convincing forensic or circumstantial evidence one way or the other.

But I do find the extremely rapid spread of the virus outside China, where it supposedly originated, especially over the last two weeks or so, somewhat suspicious, as well as unprecedented (it seems to me) — certainly a comprehensive epidemiological study of this is warranted.

That way CIA could blame it on those dirty greasy Mexicans. Don’t know where CIA sprinkled their illegal COVID-19 bioweapon but I got it last spring, in what is now one of the larger hot spots. I don’t get nothin. This was unusually persistent but not otherwise debilitating, so far, for me. Too bad there was no way to test for antibodies then (except at UNC.)

CIA knows you have to run your genetically-engineered strains through the population to boost viability and virulence and that takes time, so people should be digging into deaths last spring and summer.

People can also look for the effects of CIA compartmentation on the BWC-illegal development work. You ask the developers (Baric and the Aussies and crucially, their uninvolved colleagues) what they thought they were doing. Probe for outrage, then you know you’re getting warm. The researchers can’t acknowledge their involvement in felony offenses. They need a rationale. The scope of their contracts will be very illumninating because the components must interoperate. A lot of us have life-science contacts in the relevant areas. Let’s work em!

The wisdom of crowds long since exploded 9/11 commission bullshit but there’s no outside pressure to adjudicate it because all CIA did was blow up its long-suffering population. This is different. The whole world has a beef.

One explanation for the Spanish Flu name is that Spain was neutral in WW1 and its newspapers wrote rather freely about the flu outbreak. The newspapers of most other European countries and the USA were at war and censored so as not to make a public already alarmed by the war more despondent by news of an epidemic, actually a pandemic. So the flu was named after the country that actually wrote about it.

In any event, it would certainly explain why “Goldman Sachs” likes to Victim Blame and Deflect Responsibility and Project Guilt by using phrases like “White Supremacy” and “White Privilege” in the hopes that everyone, including and especially the Chinese, will automatically believe the obvious lie.

But, given that the Chinese obviously don’t believe in the lie that the virus started in their country, they might not believe the obvious lie that Whites run The USA. That it is, in fact, run by “Goldman Sachs.”

They published a paper making that claim in 2008. CoVID19 is identical to the virus developed at the Wuhan facility, and the epidemic started in Wuhan. There is only one valid conclusion, this epidemic began with an accidental release from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

No doubt global elites present a united front to protect their common interest in maintaining the petrodollar and international banking system, insofar as it supports their individual interests. However, other than that shared interest, the elite are rife with factions — both domestically and especially internationally.

Incredibly globalization as a system seems to have mostly disappeared in 6 weeks. There are closed frontiers, no more container ships, the ports are empty, no flights and the malls are closing.

It’s not clear where the US public are going to get their electronics, clothing and other Walmart items unless everything rebounds 100%. If there’s no rebound, then it starts to look like some kind of watershed event equivalent to WW1.

If elites and their interests are the foundation of the NWO, then right now they seem to be all over the place.

    – The globalists want a strong dollar which they ensure with the dollar’s reserve currency role (particularly the petrodollar). The dollar is doing fine now as a refuge, but with oil approaching $20 a barrel it doesn’t look like such a great link longer term, and what use is a reserve currency when there’s no trade?

    – Globalism is based on ZIRP (Zero Interest Rate Policy) to keep the West consuming and allow the issuance of massive debt. Now international bond markets are hesitating in the face of more massive international issuance to deal with the economic fallout of the Coronavirus. Interest rates only have to rise to their historic averages to collapse the whole thing.

    – The LGBT, SJW crowd find that racism, diversity and generally anti-White propaganda has become a non-issue. Everything has become Coronavirus which is actually sort of equalizing , and putting the focus on what the government needs to do to protect all the public including Deplorables (unusual turnaround).

    – Frontiers are closing with the cheap labour/ multicultural crowd having gone quiet.

    – Many globalist interests are facing bankruptcy as demand disappears, new share and bond issuance is blocked, credit disappears and a myriad of counterparty risks (finacialized opaque derivatives) turn into counterparty failures.

    – The general inability of Western government elites to handle all these combined events. Monetary policy doesn’t work in a ZIRP environment so they may just resort to “Helicopter Money” but with shortages of goods this is guaranteed to feed directly into inflation.

Altogether a remarkable change of direction in a very short time.

I’m agnostic on the subject of COVID-19: its origin, how it first infected humans, its epidemiological spread

Perhaps agnostic is not the best choice of words, but overall, I agree.
It is not impossible that the virus did not “escape” from the Wuhan Lab, but it is unlikely.
That the Chinese have sequenced a virus to do something unexpected, then published it, is unremarkable. That others may have done the same or similar and not published it, would be remarkable. I would consider the “Five Eyes” and Israel entirely capable – and likely to do that, given they operate as one.

I look to the narrative we get in North America, irrespective of the topic, and the pattern is the same:
    1- “report” the topic;
    2- announce “breaking news” to establish the narrative;
    3- repeat the narrative endlessly saturating the media;
    4- ignore contrary evidence;
    5- if #4 becomes too difficult, discredit it by a bait and switch;
    6- pronounce the narrative is still solid and alternative information false;
    7- rinse and repeat.
(I suppose, if all else fails, blame Russia/Putin could be added.)

In context of the above, I am leaning toward that it wasn’t an accident and in all likelihood it wasn’t China.

Here was me thinking the Western elites wanted to continue making money on Chinese growth.

Much of the US elite is sinecured in the media, foreign policy, and national security state establishments, whose status depends on the relative power and prestige of the US state. The relative power and prestige of the US state is jeopardized by the continued growth of China.

If you follow US coverage of China in the US, you’ll find that this US elite is generally critical of China, although style and presentation vary. The liberal “China watchers” among the US elite in the media and foreign policy establishment tend to focus on human rights, democracy promotion, and liberalism as vectors to attack the Chinese state. They tend to be polished and more subtle rather than explicitly hostile.

The US elite in the national security establishment tend to be more overt about military containment and or confrontation with China, and on developing an anti-China coalition in the Pacific.

Freeman Dyson believed communism survived in China unlike the USSR because its elites were reeducated among the poor natives. Xi Jinping himself was sent to the countryside as a youth to work as a manual laborer in a pig farm.

    https://www.nybooks.com/articles/2016/05/26/fang-lizhi-heritage-great-man/

Why did communism grow deep roots and survive in China, while it withered and died in Russia?…the recently published autobiography of Fang Lizhi suggests a different answer to the question. Fang’s book is the personal story of a scientist whose life was shaped by Chinese history. From the evidence provided by this book, I am led to believe that communism survived in China because the brutal reeducation of the elite, by exile to coal mines and villages and forced sharing of hardships with dirt-poor workers and peasants, was to some extent a genuine reeducation. A great many members of the elite endured a period of gross abuse and humiliation, so severe as to drive many of them to suicide. Fang—who died in 2012—describes four of these personal tragedies that he remembered vividly when he wrote his book thirty years later. But the majority of the victims, like Fang, survived the physical and mental battering, and returned to pursue careers as leaders of society. They became a privileged and corrupt class, but had acquired some indelible firsthand knowledge of the real needs and desires of the Chinese people.

In Russia there was much talk of reeducation of the elite, but the reality was different. In Russia the purges killed large numbers of the elite and condemned others to long years of imprisonment in the gulag archipelago, but those who survived were not re-educated. The intellectuals who survived in Russia remained isolated from the realities of working-class existence. The working class in the minds of the rulers of Russia remained an intellectual abstraction, detached from contact with reality.

Going by the asssumption that major cinematic projects in China are subject to CCP control and direction (just as the same applies to US/UK and the various intelligence agencies of Anglo-Zionist regime), it is interesting to note the quite enjoyable film “The Emperor and The Assassin” (荆柯刺秦王 – 1998).

The film opens with the transfer of power to a trembling Ying Zheng (Qin Shi Huang) as the Qin head clergy harshly admonishes him to “remember” the duty of his position “to unite all under the heaven”.

This guy is definitely one of my favorite tyrants in film. He’s a tragic figure, torn between collective and personal forces that are at odds. Gong Li (“the most beautiful woman in the world”) plays the role of his girl-friend, his concubine, and the love of his life, who unfortunately is from the wrong Chinese tribe. How many times he makes a promise due to natural inclination and how many times he does a 180 due to collective responsibility demands?

He cries at the end of the film but China is united as one.

“What’s so unusual about Emperor Shih Huang of the China Dynasty? He had buried alive 460 scholars only, but we have buried alive 46,000 scholars”, states the monster, the Supreme Statesman. (Mao also compared himself to CaoCao.)

When I first read about the Cultural Revolution and the ‘floral prelude’ that had prompted many to stick their heads out to offer constructive critcism (lol) we were going through the internet unveiling over here and I remember thinking “how clever of that monster, the chairman”.

There are 2 legitimate analytical frameworks that lead to hierarchical control structures. One, an analytical subset determines the majority is too stupid to be permitted to participate. Two, contingencies due to space and time considerations require command and control structures (which are contingent structures only).

    Don’t blame the monster.

seems to indicate that China has enormous potential for shale gas production.

Presently, they have not yet made the investments necessary to exploit these reserves, and of course crude (regular) oil is freely available from Venezuela, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Libya, Saudi Arabia and Russia, while Russia, Central Asia, Iran (as well as the rest of the Gulf) have huge traditional gas reserves, all easily available for purchase.

IF China ever gets concerned enough that their energy supplies would be illegally cut-off , they WILL develop these resources so as to be gas self-sufficient, albeit at higher cost than otherwise.

China will also examine coal- and gas- to oil conversion technologies, as they have very, very abundant (estimated/yet untapped) coal resources.

So, without even yet discussing concepts such as Thorium and traditional Uranium-based nuclear power, China will not be held back by a lack of energy.

It’s been a while since I last saw that film and an objection was just raised from my (somewhat tardy) memory unit that it wasn’t a transfer of power to Ying Zheng:

Actually he was visiting the household of the head priest on his deathbed and first he has to hear the old man use his last breath on Earth to say “Ying Zheng! Do you remember your promise to your Qin ancestors to unite all under the heaven?” To which the future tyrant (currently still a nice guy) replies trembling that he does. Then the old man makes a noise and gives up the ghost. Then, right away, his son, the new chief priest, boldly sticks his face in the emperor’s face and repeats: “Ying Zheng! Do you remember your promise to your Qin ancestors to unite all under the heaven?”

I also should add that another interesting item that made an impression about the cultural revolution was that most of the intellectuals who voiced criticisms during the “Let a Thousand Flowers Bloom” period licked the boot when the Cadre worked them over a bit.

I remember one guy refused to recant. A true man of convictions. The monster should have spared that scholar.

Greek and Roman culture did not have a sense of chosen-ness. Ending conflict and forgiveness was an important given in their cultures. Chosen-ness does not allow for a concept of living in peace with beings who are not chosen. The professor I mentioned talked a lot about the god Yahweh in the Old Testament. Roman, Greek and Egyptian gods were not so barbaric as Yahweh in the Old Testament.

Rome liked the concept of peace. Something that the ZioUS empire fears more than anything on earth.

    https://www.ushistory.org/civ/6c.asp

The term “Pax Romana,” which literally means “Roman peace,” refers to the time period from 27 B.C.E. to 180 C.E. in the Roman Empire.

This 200-year period saw unprecedented peace and economic prosperity throughout the Empire, which spanned from England in the north to Morocco in the south and Iraq in the east. During the Pax Romana, the Roman Empire reached its peak in terms of land area, and its population swelled to an estimated 70 million people.

The Olympiads are supposed to be a time of peace. In our ZioUS world, the opposite is done many times. So many times the ZioUS uses it for games against Russia.

    http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/Olympics/truce.html

A truce (in Greek, ekecheiria, which literally means “holding of hands”) was announced before and during each of the Olympic festivals, to allow visitors to travel safely to Olympia. An inscription describing the truce was written on a bronze discus which was displayed at Olympia. During the truce, wars were suspended, armies were prohibited from entering Elis or threatening the Games, and legal disputes and the carrying out of death penalties were forbidden.

Here is what ancient Greece has given to the world.

    https://ancient-greece.org/history/classical.html

The Classical Period produced remarkable cultural and scientific achievements. The city of Athens introduced to the world a direct Democracy the likes of which had never been seen hitherto, or subsequently, with western governments like Great Britain, France, and USA emulating it a thousand years later. The rational approach to exploring and explaining the world as reflected in Classical Art, Philosophy, and Literature became the well-grounded springboard that western culture used to leap forward, beginning with the subsequent Hellenistic Age. The thinkers of the Classical Greek era have since dominated thought for thousands of years, and have remained relevant to our day. The teachings of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle among others, either directly, in opposition, or mutation, have been used as reference point of countless western thinkers in the last two thousand years. Hippocrates became the “Father of modern medicine”, and the Hippocratic oath is still used today. The dramas of Sophocles, Aeschylus, Euripides, and the comedies of Aristophanes are considered among the masterpieces of western culture.

Can’t work that way, not in China.

In China, you are in or you are out, no in-between, and no such thing as hyphenated-Chinese. Been like that for millennia.

Ever heard of the Kaifeng Jews? Descendants of Jewish traders who reached China in the 10th century (some thousand years ago). So ethnically assimilated that there seem not a trace of their original ancestry. Ethnically and biologically, they are the same as Han.

Han bear no ill will toward Jews or indeed any non-Han. But they insist on TOTAL assimilation. There are a great many Chinese today of Mongol, Manchu, Siberian, and even Turk and Tibetan descent. They speak Chinese, observe Chinese rituals, and know no other identity but Chinese. So they are seen as Chinese. There are also the Hui, ethnic Chinese Muslims, who in all but religion are . . . Chinese.

The Kaifeng Jews, though, insist on their own identity. They practice Jewish ritual, celebrate Jewish holidays, read their holy texts in the Hebrew script. All of which is perfectly fine and accepted in China. This means they are safe, and have no problems, and are seen as . . . Jews.

A thousand years in China, and they have not been able to get a foothold. THAT IS CHINA.

So in this sense, the Chinese have a problem.

The citizens of America don’t owe China anything — China owns bonds issued by the US federal government (UST) — these bonds may or may not be worth face value depending on market conditions, including prevailing interest rates, current sentiment about world economic conditions, and, perhaps increasingly in the future, the (over-)supply of USD, even political instability in America that may jeopardize payment of interest.

Now to have states, families, and selves is to allow each individual to maintain a sphere of selfishness. This infracts utterly the Universal Principle (gongli) and impedes progress. …

Therefore, not only states should be abolished, so that there would be no more struggle between the strong and the weak; families should also be done away with, so that there would no longer be inequality of love and affection [among men]; and, finally, selfishness itself should be banished, so that goods and services would not be used for private ends. …

The only [true way] is sharing the world in common by all (tienxia weigong) … To share in common is to treat each and every one alike. There should be no distinction between high and low, no discrepancy between rich and poor, no segregation of human races, no inequal- ity between sexes. .

All should be educated and supported with the common property; none should depend on private possession. …

Even though you can see the 5 strains in the US. The 5 strains are also in China and may be those strains from the rest of the world

What is clear is that Hubei only have 2 strains and not the strain that is taiwan and Japan. I also know that the strian in Italy and Iran are the same one from China.

It is interesting that no one with the scientific background is coming out to challenge it.

Ahhhh… You let politics cloud your judgement. I said nothing about how doctors and nurses are paid. Why they keep their inefficient economic system – I have no clue…. But it’s not my business to tell them that… I see nothing in the bible – nor the constitution of any so called “free world” countries that state that any nation has the right to do so. My point is their healthcare and educational systems. The fact you question their education system when they are able to train so many doctors and nurses – shows your political ideas are blinding you. As to healthcare and ordinary Cubans. It is better to be poor and sick in Cuba than working class and sick in the United States.
As to “one of the most educated” before Castro. The fact Cuba still exists and can even export doctors and nurses – while being under embargo from the US for decades – again belies your prejudice. Cuba was supposed to crumble about 7 US Presidents ago… Remember…?

Well Mao wrote to the President before he got into full power stating the CCP had no grouse with the US and would like to work with the US so China could modernize. The US supported the Nationalists with equipment/money/training/intelligence. The CCP beat the Nationalists anyway. The US and China then fought directly in Korea… The CCP got the better in that exchange also by pushing the US back to the 38th parallel. Then in Vietnam the Chinese supported North Vietnam in the same way the US supported the Nationalists against the CCP.
So explain to me – what is the point in continuing to try to fight? Wouldn’t it be more sensible to get along…???

Sure, and the virus developed at the Wuhan facility MOST CERTAINLY IS an “engineered bat virus” as well. The American experiment took the protien coat from a bat virus and mated it with the RNA component of a SARS-like virus known to infect humans. This was done to determine if the bat virus could possibly jump to humans. It was able to infect cultured human cells, but did not produce fatal disease in mice, obviously not much of a “bioweapon”. The American experiment demonstrated that this particular bat virus protein coat MIGHT be able to jump to humans, therefore the Wuhan out break might have started naturally. HOWEVER, CoVID19 appears to be a standard bat virus with a protein coat that has been augmented with material from HIV, giving it the ability to easily jump to humans. Is CoVID19 a natural mutation of the bat virus? Perhaps. What is CERTAIN is the Chinese scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology augmented bat virus with HIV material in a successful effort to produce a chimera that could infect humans(they also tried other routes, not successful). Given the similarity of CoVID19 to the chimera virus produced at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and the outbreak’s epicenter in Wuhan, an accidental release from the Wuhan facility is the most likely scenario. Insisting the outbreak is from an American bioweapon requires a level of confirmation bias that crosses into mental illness.

Would the NWO people (corporate globalists) do this to themselves through a planned Coronavirus 9/11 style “Event” to further extend their control of society? They can now extend their control but to do what exactly?

Your conclusion – that the CV-19 may result in reversing the NWO drive – appears sound at first analysis, but it may be too early to be that sanguine about. We may find soon another event that is linked to this one and give us better and different understanding of what the “grand plan” might be. Or it may have been designed as a single-event by another agent not related to the NWO cabal or rogue elements within it, the only commonality being the delivery of a nasty message to China similar to the one delivered to Iran recently (killing of gen. Soleimani).

Besides, one should keep in mind Karl Rover’s boasting about the NWO’s capacity to produce “realities” for the world to study while they are already busy at producing another alternative “reality”, always one step ahead of those studying the previous one.

We may also take heed of Escobar’s entreaty to Foucault, supposedly to come to the rescue by reminding us that:

China has been transitioning its economy away from infrastructure and manufacturing to technology and services which reduces its energy intensity per GDP output as the country becomes more “developed” over time. So the biggest users of energy will also shift from carbon-intensive heavy industries such as steel to service-oriented transport industries such as high-speed rail. Shifting to electric-powered transportation such as high-speed rail, maglev, light-rail, electric vehicles, etc. reduces China’s dependence on imported oil. China’s sources for electric power generation is also shifting from traditional sources of carbon-based energy such as coal to alternative sources of energy such as solar, wind, nuclear, biomass, hydro, etc. To reduce pollution, China is also turning to clean energy such as natural gas where it has the world’s largest reserves of shale gas. But extracting those shale gas is quite environmentally destructive which has forced China to import natural gas from foreign countries such as Russia.

There are 2 legitimate analytical frameworks that lead to hierarchical control structures. One, an analytical subset determines the majority is too stupid to be permitted to participate. Two, contingencies due to space and time considerations require command and control structures (which are contingent structures only).

But it wasn’t about imposing any kind of hierarchy at all. The Qin State was a highly meritocratic warrior society which allowed it to defeat and conquer the other six kingdoms ruled by feudal aristocracies. Yin Zheng’s reason for uniting the Warring States was to establish a Universal State in order to promote peace. He ruled as Qin Shi Huang Di (literally First Emperor of Qin) after founding the Imperial State of China which is named after him. It was his successor the Han Dynasty who established the social and political hierarchy based on Classical Confucianism with Scholar-Officials selected by the Imperial Examination System to administer the bureaucracy of the Imperial State.

Western observers tend to confuse Mao with Qin Shi Huang Di. In fact, Chiang was closer to the First Emperor of China both in character and ideology. And after losing the Chinese Civil War, Chiang established himself as a military dictator in Taiwan. The reason why Chiang lost to Mao was because the KMT was infested with opium-trading gangster-Capitalists who were in bed with Western Oligarchs while the Chinese Communists were highly-disciplined, highly-egalitarian, highly-motivated revolutionaries.

Mao was a revolutionary leader turned brutal tyrant but his Maoist ideology has nothing with Qin Legalism which together with Han Confucianism became the ideological foundation of the Chinese Empire.

  218. annamaria, thanks for dilyana’s helpful précis of the case against CIA in 218. There’s one significant error in it. It doesn’t matter that the US failed to join the ICC. The Rome Statute defines the crimes in its remit by summarizing universal jurisdiction law. All the crimes listed in the Rome Statute are subject to complementarity: if a state is unwilling or unable to prosecute, the world can step in.

The US is clearly unable to prosecute CIA officials with the life-and-death power of impunity for murder and torture. The CIA mad scientists rule. So US germ warfare criminals can be tried in any signatory of the 1925 Geneva Convention, or in a special-purpose tribunal anywhere. The US government can use its veto to withhold authority from certain ICC actions. But if the UNGA finds that the US is using its veto to maintain CIA impunity for grave crimes, it can empower the ICC with a Uniting for Peace resolution (a US invention for dealing with isolated and recalcitrant states.)

In practice, this would require a war. But this is an undeclared “sneak attack” war we’re in right now. The CIA started this last year, infecting us in the US. When the CIA regime loses – and they will – we’re going to have Nuremberg II.

    — You mean, Israel gets along with China by stealing and selling American know-how to China? https://councilforthenationalinterest.org/?page_id=154

Israel runs one of the world’s most aggressive and damaging espionage networks against the U.S. … In 2006 a Pentagon judge stated categorically: “The Israeli government is actively engaged in military and industrial espionage in the United States.” …

In 1981 the FBI received an application by the Defense Department for a Top Secret security clearance for Bryen. Richard Perle, who had just been nominated as Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Policy, was proposing Bryen as his Deputy Assistant Secretary. Within six months, with Perle pushing hard, Bryen received both Top Secret-SCI (sensitive compartmented information) and Top Secret-“NATO/COSMIC” clearances.
Bryen then attempted to provide top secret technology to Israel.

Similarly, In 1983 Richard Perle recommended that a man named Michael Ledeen be hired at the Department of Defense as a consultant on terrorism – despite the fact that the CIA had him in their files as an agent of influence of a foreign government: Israel. Once in place, Ledeen continued to take actions to assist Israel. …

“One might wonder how, with security histories like these, Messrs. Bryen and Ledeen have managed to get second and third chances to return to government in highly classified positions. And the explanation is that they, along with other like-minded neo-conservatives, have… friends in very high places. In particular, Bryen and Ledeen have been repeatedly boosted into defense/security posts by former Defense Policy Council member and chairman Richard Perle, Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz, and Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Douglas Feith.”

Well, never thought Trump was on anyone’s side, except his own, in the first place…

But his message resonated in the heartland, and being a showman, he knew it would. Perhaps he believed some of it, but pragmatism and survival instincts quickly took over once he was attacked by deep state factions in the intel “community” allied with the Democrats. So he made what allies he could, particularly Israel and its many supporters here… His initial appointments proved that, with the few exceptions being ruthlessly hounded out by deep state intel and LEO operatives. (Flynn scared them, as did the thought Trump might actually end wars in the ME.)

ASIDE: Friend of the wife is an older Jewish lady from Palm Beach. She notes that most older Jews in the Miami metro area are ardent Trump supporters with many having framed pictures and portraits hanging on their walls.

Trump’s candidacy reminded me of Ross Perot’s runs in the 1990s — he too was subjected to vicious attacks and marginalization by the MSM as a crazy populist… Course I’m not too sure just how any billionaire could be considered a populist, but… Hindsight being 20/20 I’m sorry I didn’t take Perot more seriously considering his America First stance before NAFTA was effected.

In any case, Trump does seem to be an honest politician, where the definition of honest means that once bought, he stays bought. Considering Israel’s dominance in US political life (Congress, intel agencies, think tanks and MSM), it was quite an operation that forced him to heel — the left hand whipping as the right applied salve — if ever he was a loose cannon in the first place.

Here’s my reference, from the good ‘ol NYT:

    阅读简体中文版閱讀繁體中文版
Dr. Helen Y. Chu, an infectious disease expert in Seattle, knew that the United States did not have much time.
In late January, the first confirmed American case of the coronavirus had landed in her area. Critical questions needed answers: Had the man infected anyone else? Was the deadly virus already lurking in other communities and spreading?
As luck would have it, Dr. Chu had a way to monitor the region. For months, as part of a research project into the flu, she and a team of researchers had been collecting nasal swabs from residents experiencing symptoms throughout the Puget Sound region.
To repurpose the tests for monitoring the coronavirus, they would need the support of state and federal officials. But nearly everywhere Dr. Chu turned, officials repeatedly rejected the idea, interviews and emails show, even as weeks crawled by and outbreaks emerged in countries outside of China, where the infection began. ‘It’s Just Everywhere Already’: How Delays in Testing Set Back the U.S. Coronavirus Response.https://cn.nytimes.com/usa/20200311/coronavirus-testing-delays/

Granted, I’m extrapolating the CDC’s Seattle refusal to the entire nation, but I’ve seen no evidence that anyone else was permitted to test.

In fact, testing still seems to be passively discouraged.

Any help you can render answering (or finding clues to answers of) those 6 questions would be most welcome.

To be sure, many of the Confucian ideas, the good ones, are still respected and practiced. The bad ones have been discarded.

It speaks to the reason China has survived for most of history: the ability to eventually let go, sometimes violently, of ways and means that no longer suit the pattern of history – or as they put it “The Will of Heaven”.

I seem to note though that the broad strokes of their ancient culture seem to endure: the principle of “harmony with the Universe.” Once upon a time, the ideas of Confucius were in harmony, then came the ideas of Marx, then of Adam Smith, and so on and on.

Thanks, Godfrey. With your information, I plugged (Helen Chu CDC coronavirus testing) into DuckDuckGo, and over a dozen articles were reported on the roadblocks thrown up to black Dr. Chu.

The NYT article you link to is Chinese, which I can’t read. Here’s an English article, which I can’t read because I don’t have a NYT account: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/10/us/coronavirus-testing-delays.html

Here are excerpts from a Reason magazine article based largely on the NYT article:

As the Times reports, Seattle infectious disease expert Dr. Helen Chu had, by January, collected a huge number of nasal swabs from local residents who were experiencing symptoms as part of a research project on flu. She proposed, to federal and state officials, testing those samples for coronavirus infections. As the Times reports, the CDC told Chu and her team that they could not test the samples unless their laboratory test was approved by the FDA. The FDA refused to approve Chu’s test on the grounds that her lab, according to the Times, “was not certified as a clinical laboratory under regulations established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, a process that could take months.”

In the meantime, the CDC required that public health officials could only use the diagnostic test designed by the agency. That test released on February 5 turned out to be badly flawed. The CDC’s insistence on a top-down centralized testing regime greatly slowed down the process of disease detection as the infection rate was accelerating.

A frustrated Chu and her colleagues began testing on February 25 without government approval. They almost immediately detected a coronavirus infection in a local teenager with no recent travel history. Chu warned local public health officials of her lab’s finding and the teenager’s school was closed as a precaution. The teen’s diagnosis strongly suggested that the disease had been circulating throughout the western part of Washington for weeks. We now know that that is likely true.

Did the FDA and CDC functionaries commend Chu for being proactive? Not at all. Washington state epidemiologist Scott Lindquist recalled, “What they said on that phone call very clearly was cease and desist to Helen Chu. Stop testing.”

In my mind, this is indicative of a coverup, at the very least an embarrassing level of incompetence and callousness toward the American people. I hope Dr. Chu or somebody else will test collected samples from last fall to determine whether COVID-19 was circulating in the US before the first patient in Wuhan contracted it.

Sorry I don’t have answers to any of your other questions, but The Last American Vagabond has several YouTube videos that contain evidence that suggest but don’t prove this bug may have escaped from a US bioweapons lab. Here’s an interesting one I watched portions of today:

What in the holy fuck does Confucius have to do with Marx and Adam Smith?

It’s funny because this worship of Confucius is a revisionism to Maoism, Mao specifically said Confucius is outdated feudalism crap and does not belong to Marxism science.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticize_Lin,_Criticize_Confucius

Confucius is also a “class-ist” i.e. class collaborationist like Fascism and National Socialism, because it wants different classes to exist in order to support each other, which is in contrary to Marxism which is the destruction of class society.

But now we have chinese celebrating Confucius and Mao, like russians celebrating the Czar Nicholas and Lenin. It’s all worship of historical characters and memes, regardless of ideology.

I cannot decide whether the behavior behind this is sinister, stupid, or both.

All are appealing, but each requires so much stupidity (the idea that you can cover up a national outbreak of a readily-identifiable virus) that the mind is repelled.

Militarized government incompetence is the most common cause of national collapses, however, and all explanations fit that description.

The most puzzling meta-question why no-one is interested in uncovering the coverup.

When the Chinese Ambassador asked his questions he was accused of ‘propaganda’ and the entire population of America immediately lost interest.

Mao said nothing of the kind. He did attack[1] old methods of education, old marriage customs, and the habit of using Confucius to justify subservience to Japanese occupation.

But he not only memorized the Classics, he also entire books of commentaries on them.

While acknowledging the primacy of popular will he insisted that a guiding organization–in the context of Chinese civilization–was essential:

Confucius is the beginning of the precious legacy which makes up the specific characteristics of China. The writings of the Confucian scholars are different from those of men of letters; the former were translucent and pure while the latter are unrestrained and argumentative. Consequently, the Sinification of Marxism—that is to say, making certain that all its manifestations are imbued with Chinese characteristics—is our most pressing task.

    [“On the New Stage” (1938)].

Impatient, he goaded[1] colleagues, “We must urgently create a civilization in which classes, state power and political parties die out naturally and, together, we enter the Realm of Great Harmony, dàtóng[2].” In other words, he made Confucius highest societal goal, dàtóng, the nation’s goal–which it remains.

    [1] On the People’s Democratic Dictatorship, June 30, 1949
[2] In Confucius’ dàtóng society ”the world was shared by all alike. The worthy and the able were promoted to office and men practiced good faith and lived in affection. Therefore they did not regard as parents only their own parents, or as sons only their own sons.”

Link to a 2008 paper/study by Chinese scientists/researchers affiliated with the Wuhan Institute of Virology available on the NIH website –> link to study

So what? Everybody has been experimenting with SARS or similar viruses; the US government has even gone so far as to obtain US patent #7,776,521 on a method for detecting SARS-CoV (link). This patent was filed in 2007, which means the US started work on SARS long before the Chinese paper.

In any case, I doubt the Chinese work amounted to much, as SARS-CoV is only 82% similar to SARS-CoV-2 (link). Other viruses are much closer to the Covid-19 bug. For instance, Bat-CoVRaTG13 is 96% similar (same article).

So your feeble attempt to blame Wuhan’s Institute of Virology for Covid-19 falls flat on its face.

There are different forms of Confucianism just as there are different variants of Christianity. There’s Imperial Confucianism (as practiced by the Emperor and his Confucian Scholar-Officials), Feudal Confucianism (as practiced by Chinese families during the Imperial Era). What’s been happening is that Chinese Socialism has now integrated Chinese Confucianism to create a Modern Confucianism. East Asia countries such as Japan and Singapore have also managed to create their versions of Modern Confucianism which integrated Industrial Capitalism with a modern technocratic State. That’s the path China is taking albeit with Industrial Socialism mixed with Corporate Capitalism and Social Entrepreneurship.

Western Christianity likewise went through a similar process after the Protestant Reformation created Modern Christianity which broke away from Medieval Catholicism. This “Cultural Revolution” took place over several centuries in Western Europe which paved the way for the political and economic revolutions that subsequently created the Modern Capitalist Industrial West. Max Weber wrote about this in his seminal work on the Protestant Work Ethic. Ironically, Catholic Spain (and Portugal) exported their version of Medieval Catholicism to what is now Latin America which is still mired in medieval feudalism.

I remain confused about my, or my country’s, responsibility for the Vietnam war, or the anti Muslim wars, or US support for dictatorships, and so on, given that it hasn’t gone to war for a lifetime and was never an imperial power.

Some Americans don’t want the imperial war machine but it seems to me there is a near universal support for attacking whatever country is being attacked, and a general acceptance amongst the population that the US has rights or duties in the Middle East to overthrow whomever displeased the empire. For instance even (and maybe especially) the US left wanted to overthrow Assad; as if that is the right of the US, to overthrow dictators who don’t adhere to the party line. I would say the US empire is probably the empire that has the greatest universal appeal amongst its population.

You yourself want a continuous war against the non existent communist threat

“Well then, my relentless hatred of communists—all of whom seek world domination and the subjugation of we who refuse to “get with the program” and “get our mind right”—is my way of life.”

The real world domination is the ideology of the US, the idea that China needs your system – the oligarchic pseudo democracy – or else it needs to die or be defeated. Why would the Chinese system (more confucian than communist) so enrage you so much? why should you care unless you have a bred to the bone imperialist ideology that what is good for Texas is good for the Middle Kingdom. And yet there you are hating on a country that you think threatens your empire by merely existing.

The left imperialist version of this is similar but the country is different; there the country that needs to be destroyed because it occasionally snubs the empire is Russia. The entire American left is breathlessly panicking about some Russian tweets, while the US (left and right) support the overthrow of any dictator or democrat opposed to empire. The day after she tore up the state of the union speech Pelosi, who wants trump impeached because of Russian influence, met guaido the unelected guy the US wants installed in Venezuela. She barely thought to be embarrassed.

And what did that country do? It tried an economic system the US doesn’t like.

The US left also fights phantoms, while the right imperialists oppose communism or the supposed threat of Islam to Texas, or the UN; the left want to overthrow “white supremacy”, as if Serbia, Ireland, Hungary and Poland were running the world. The supposed universalistic “all countries are immigrant countries” merely spreads an Americanism to places, like Europe, that are diverse enough thank you. In all of this I fail to see why Balfour is an issue, this site has an unhealthy bland culture for certain ethnic groups, but the logic of the empire – like all empires – is to spread or maintain its power , and the American ideology is doing just that. Regardless of who is in power it will continue to do so, or lose.

Yes, let us look into the chronology of events — the full chronology.

In 2007 the U.S. applied for a patent on a method for detecting SARS-CoV. Which means the U.S. was probably working with the SARS virus in 2004 or even earlier — far before the 2008 Chinese paper.

As for the work on ACE2, that was inevitable, as anyone experimenting with SARS-CoV would be aware that that the virus likes to target ACE2 (link to the abstract of an article published in 2005 by Nature Medicine; warning: this is in PDF format).

The US has definitely been working on SARS-CoV, probably years before China got started. If the Covid-19 virus is not natural, the US is more likely to be responsible for it than China.

Yes, I noticed that. I don’t know if that means the U.S. has actually patented the SARS virus; I don’t know how patent filings work. I didn’t want to defend the notion that a natural organism could be patented, so I didn’t mention it.

Anyway, the patent’s filing date proves that the U.S. has been working on SARS-CoV since at least 2007, almost certainly years earlier. This probably predates any Chinese work on that virus. Thus if SARS-CoV-2 is not a natural development, the U.S., having more experience, is more likely to be responsible for it than China.

Three, the Wu family of Kantzuyuan Street in Changsha, the family of the husband she did not want. These three factors constituted three iron nets, a kind of triangular cage and–once caught in these three nets–she sought life in every way possible, but in vain. You are engaging in Straw Man fallacy. Nowhere did I say the Chinese “made” CoVid19. The 2008 Wuhan experiments took a bat coronavirus, did not alter the RNA backbone, but did augment the protein coat “spike” with HIV material in order to increase its ability to infect, and did increase its ability to infect. This is a technique that could be applied to other corona viruses. It is therefore entirely irrelevant that “SARS-CoV has only 82% similarity to SARS-CoV-2(the CoVid19)”[you are obviously referring to the “backbone”]. It is the similarity of CoVid19 to the Chinese “HIV spike” experiments, and that the outbreak started in Wuhan, site of a Level 4 biolab, that causes concern that CoVid19 is an accidental release from the Wuhan facility. Level 4 biolabs are where dangerous monkey business occurs, and it is very difficult to prevent an accidental release. To rule out this scenario is asinine. Another scenario is a natural mutation enabled the bat virus to jump to humans. This scenario cannot be ruled out as it has happened before, and I sincerely hope this is the case. What is utterly ridiculous is that you,Vidi, along with your circle jerk of d Dan, Valmonde, and denk plus the paid propaganda shills Godfree Roberts and Pepe Escobar relentlessly push the story that this outbreak is a bioweapon attack on China by The United States, with nothing but arch insinuations as argumentation.

The red chinese did not abandon communism. Citizens do not receive fair trials and there is no freedom of speech. Their “social credit system” is straight out of 1984. Their ‘capitalism’ means little when any private company can be seized without due process.

As a European I believe a Eurasian alliance is necessary for Europe’s survival, certainly attaching ourself to the crazed wild animal that is America in decline has done us no favours.

After observing most of Europe abandon its national identities and surrender to the scimitar of allah, we Americans were fools to spend billions rebuilding Europe. The red chinese do not see you as equals, you don’t have the strength nor will to oppose them. Your “alliance” with red china will be the same parasite/host arrangement the US has with “our most important ally.”

The wars in the Middle East are destabilising, more destabilising is the influence of American ideology which is hostile to Europe on the right and the left.

I agree, but our adventures in Sandland don’t excuse Europe’s failure to curtail demographic invasion (US also failing at this, BTW)

You are engaging in Straw Man fallacy. Nowhere did I say the Chinese “made” CoVid19.

You are being less than honest. Why bring up the 2008 Chinese paper unless you intended to blame Chinese scientists for creating SARS-CoV-2?

The 2008 Wuhan experiments took a bat coronavirus, did not alter the RNA backbone, but did augment the protein coat “spike” with HIV material in order to increase its ability to infect, and did increase its ability to infect.

Yes, another try at blaming China.

This is a technique that could be applied to other corona viruses.

Regarding your first point, an accidental release from the Wuhan bio lab is not at all unlikely. The United States has deep experience operating biolabs, and many that are level 4 like Wuhan. Despite that there are hundreds of breaches every year, most minor, but even minor breaches can result in catastrophe, and have resulted in deaths in the past. The Wuhan facility is China’s first Level 4, and is no more than 5 years old. A breach is inevitable in the best of circumstances. However, the Chinese care only for money, are sloppy, and lying and corruption are systemic problems. An example of systemic lying is their reports on coal usage, the Chinese announce they have reduced coal consumption, then 5 years later announce they used more than reported, in fact new record amounts, same for oceanic fishing. An example of sloppy is their ongoing effort to develop farm to supermarket refrigeration nationwide. An American company is helping this effort and are on the record saying the system is leaking vast amounts of refrigerant, an environmental disaster as the refridgerant is a ferocious green house gas and the amounts are so large it will be a measurable contributor to global warming. The PLA is a swamp of corruption, the officers operate their units as a personal enrichment racket. Given this level of idiocy, a major breach at the Wuhan bio lab resulting in an epidemic is not surprising. Regarding your second point, China is the worlds reservoir for the common flu, every year there is a new mutation that originates in China and spreads throughout the world. This has been going on for centuries, so for The West it is barely noticeable, merely a background to life. It only becomes noticeable in spectacular cases like the 1918 Spanish Flu, and no, it did not originate in Kansas, it was straight out of China. Given China’s status as a flu virus reservoir, aggravated by a culture of swindling, sloppiness and lying, why is it so difficult to accept that many other flu-like viruses are bouncing around China causing major fiascos?

In their 2008 experiment, the scientists at the Wuhan facility, according to their own words, chose a virus that does not infect humans and tried several alterations to get it to infect humans, all were unsuccessful except the HIV method, which was highly successful. They claim their technique does not involve altering the RNA “backbone”.They claim the technique could be used with many other SARS-like virus, not just the one they described in the 2008 paper. Is it such a stretch to think they would not experiment with other SARS-like viruses to test their claim?

If Covid19 was in fact deployed by the US DOD, it would be no different to the countless American wars instigated by “God’s chosen termites” the tab being picked up by the American tax payer, as well as the blame.

But there are commenters (as you certainly know) who are not here to engage in a civil and reasoned discussion about relevant topics in order to improve their understanding or to assist others. They use this forum for a single purpose: to regurgitate their irrational and obsessive fear and hatred for something or another they don’t understand – usually something of a fantastic nature similar to the boogeyman uncaring parents used to frighten their children with.

Part of one’s growing up was the resolution of that fear with the realisation that boogeymen don’t exist – their function was only to impart a message for a child’s simple mind to associate it with something unpleasant or dangerous. Most of us grew out of it without any enduring psychological trauma but, as anything else subject to the laws of the Bell Curve, there are those unfortunate outliers who escape from the normal distribution core and bear the burden of that condition known as obsessive compulsive disorder and cannot get rid of the imaginary fears clogging their minds. Commendable your efforts might be, but they are wasted and there are other places more appropriate to treat that condition.

And the corollary to that is… if Italy has 4000 fatalities
and the death rate is 0.5%
with 3 weeks for the virus to kill someone…

It then follows that 3 weeks ago, close to a million Italians were already infected.
If you reject that, then the only other possibility is that the fatality rate is 10%

Either option is a colossal disaster that will leave the Italian economy looking like a smoking crater.

If the virus has an infection rate that sees it double every 3 days… the number of infected in Italy must therefore be well over a million, maybe even ten.

It also follows that the difference between your country and Italy can perhaps be measured in weeks.

They claim the technique could be used with many other SARS-like virus, not just the one they described in the 2008 paper.

And the key phrase is “SARS-like”. As their paper states, they were working with SL-CoVs (SARS-like Coronaviruses). The authors state “SL-CoVs and SARS-CoVs share identical genome organizations and high sequence identities”. In other words, the viruses they were using were almost identical to SARS.

I doubt their work would transfer to something as different as the novel coronavirus, which is only 82% similar to SARS. Just going between nearly identical viruses was so hard that they considered their work worth writing up. Transferring their work to a substantially different virus would have been extremely difficult.

Is it such a stretch to think they would not experiment with other SARS-like viruses to test their claim?

Why would they make an enormous effort to adapt a very different coronavirus when they had something that worked already?

The researchers at Wuhan chose a coronavirus that could not jump to humans to test this technique. It worked. The Wuhan researchers stated this technique would work on other coronaviruses. COVID19 is a bat coronavirus that appears to have the ability to infect humans due to a feature of its “spike”. Why do you find that so difficult to understand?

Confucianism was essentially a breeding program. It was a selection criteria that decide who get to pass on their genes. Those who didn’t fit in didn’t.

The only way civilisation can endure at the Malthusian limit for 2000 years is for individual sacrifices to be made and by extension submissiveness and other neurotic traits. It is a good thing. Most White people won’t understand.

The work done at the Wuhan bio lab in 2008 was with a bat coronavirus, and COVID19 is a bat coronavirus.

However, I must respond to this. You are far closer to a chimpanzee (96% genomic similarity: link) than the two bat coronaviruses are to each other (only 82% similarity). It would be much easier to get you to fling poo like a chimp than to transfer the work done with a SL-CoV to SARS-CoV-2. So the 2008 work on a SL-CoV is almost certainly irrelevant to Covid-19, and is very poor evidence for accusing China of engineering SARS-CoV-2.

Quite the contrary. The 2008 Wuhan researchers found genetic compatibility between SARS corona virus that infects humans and the SARS-like bat corona viruses that cannot infect humans. The SARS-like bat corona virus was able to easily acquire the ability to bind with human ACE2 by the insertion of a small sequence segment from the SARS corona virus that infects humans. The insertion altered the “spike” of the protein coat. Covid-19 is a SARS-like bat corona virus with an altered “spike” that gives it the ability to infect humans by binding with human ACE2. Covid-19 resembles Chinese research at Wuhan, Wuhan is the epicenter of the Covid-19 pandemic, and a simple, nearly inevitable, mechanism neatly accounts for the epidemic: an accidental release from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

There is either the Church, the divine-human social body instituted by the Christ, the Incarnate Logos, for the salvation of the fallen Man and his accession to the Kingdom of God, which ‘is not of this world’, or the negation of Incarnation and its legacy on earth the Church, by the Jews which is ‘Judaism’.
All sects that negate the Incarnation (like the Mahomedans) are ‘judaizing’. In fact ‘Judaism’ means etymologically ‘ioudaismos’, the participle of the Greek verb ‘ioudaizo’ – to live like the Jews, to adopt/follow the beliefs and practices of the Jews.

Yes but what we know today as the “Middle East” which conjures images of Lawrence of Arabia simply didn’t exist back then. The geopolitical rival of the Romans were the Persians not the Arabs who were just a bunch of dessert dwelling nomadic tribes. The Judeans of Judea were the people practicing Temple Judaism who became a Stateless People after the Roman Conquest of Judea. Rabbinical Judaism then replaced Temple Judaism for the Jews who settled throughout the Roman Empire. However, what we know today as Ashkenazim (European Jews) have very little in common with the Misrahim (Oriental Jews) who are the descendants of Jews living in North Africa, Middle East and Central Asia. There is also another group called Sephardim (Hispanic Jews) who were expelled from Spain and later settled in North Africa, Middle East and the Americas.

Jewish Christianity was considered a heretical sect by the Pharisees of Judea. That’s why the Jewish Christians preached their gospel of Christ to the White Gentiles who were enslaved in the Roman Empire. The Romans treated these early White Christians with contempt, even throwing them to be eaten by lions during gladiator matches. That only ended when Roman Emperor Constantine converted to Christianity which later became the official State religion of the Roman Empire. From that time onwards, Roman Christianity in the form of Roman Catholicism took hold in Europe, pushing out Jewish Christianity.

Really? What do you call the new religion of Jesus followed by his twelve disciples after his death?

There is either the Church, the divine-human social body instituted by the Christ, the Incarnate Logos, for the salvation of the fallen Man and his accession to the Kingdom of God, which ‘is not of this world’, or the negation of Incarnation and its legacy on earth the Church, by the Jews which is ‘Judaism’.

That’s the Nicene Creed adopted by the Roman Church after Christianity became the official State religion of the Roman Empire.

I am using the term “Jews” to refer to the Semitic tribe living in Judea who were practicing Temple Judaism which ceased to exist after the Roman Conquest resulted in the destruction of the Temple of Jerusalem in 70AD. So my use of the term “Jewish Christianity” refers to the inhabitants of Judea who converted to Christianity after the death of Jesus. It’s probably more accurate to use the term “Judeans” as opposed to “Jews” because the former refers to a nationality while the latter refers to members of a tribal religion called “Judaism”.

But I do get your point: “Jewish Christianity” is a contraction in terms because “Jews” as a people practicing the tribal religion of Judaism can never become “Christians” unless they stop practicing Judaism in which case they would cease to be Jews.

Yes, my past reading agrees with what you’ve said.

But I don’t know why you use the term “White Christianity.”

It is unnecessary and neceaarily carries the taint of racism.

I didn’t. I used the term “Jewish Christianity”, as explained in my last post, to refer to Jews who had converted to Christianity.

It is unnecessary and necessarily carries the taint of racism.

    My apologies for any offense.

  369. A few interesting reflections in the link below on the crisis and the economy and on how it will likely accelerate China’s rise to the top, something which was coming anyway.

Perhaps murkkan agents planted this crap in Wuhan, precisely cuz the biolab and Chi’s previous work on SAR COV offer them a ‘solid’ plausible deniability , [[[they]]] knew sheeple like you could be counted on to jump to your ‘conclusion’.

So you explanation is sheer vacuous speculation, and idiotic speculation at that since (a) covid19 is clearly not particularly lethal to the vast majority who contract it and thus useless as an warfare agent or even an agent of serious social disruption, and (b) it has had economic consequences for the US at least as severe as those on China.

Such vacuous speculation as yours is a waste of time. If you have no evidence, why not just piss off back to China where ill mannered oafs like you are probably welcome in the Red Guard, or whoever it is with responsibility for imposing ideological discipline in the crudest and most stupid way.

Well, it would be more appropriate to call it Christianism, following the same logic as for ‘Judaism’. Those who follow the beliefs and practices of the Church (ecclesia, assembly, congregation) of the Christians (“And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves [Paul and Barnabas] with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch”.
The Nicene Creed was adopted BEFORE ‘Christianity’ became the official religion of the Roman Empire. The Creed is actually the declaration by those who wanted to join the Church instituted by the Christ, that they adopt its beliefs given by the Christ and transmitted by the Apostles, and pledge to follow its practice. To be a Christian means to belong to the Church. Christianity is specifically the Church and not a philosophical or moral teaching however lofty.

Shutting down Wuhan and other major cities for two months is NOT a serious social disruption !
    ROTFLMAO !

Why dont you quarantine yourself for one month, come back and tell me its no big deal , go try it, now !

China was prepared to bit the bullet.

USA and others are very reluctant to follow China precisely cuz they fear the ensuing social disruption, which might even lead to social unrest.

When did the ptb ever fear of blowback ?
Its always sheeples like you that got shafted while the insiders make obscene profit.

Trumps trade war blizkreig has been kinda like cutting off your toe to spike your face.

Every time he imposed a tariff the Chinese would hit back and murkkan economy got whacked as well.
    A war of attrition.

Trump was betting on the Chinese would blink first but Beijing was game to take him on.

The trade war failed to break China,
    Hence the Wuhan caper.

Your stupid refrain, repeated ad nauseam, has been thoroughly shot down by many posters already.

    Give it a rest, kiddo,
    This is an adult site.
Better go back to your Harry and Potter.

Red guard your sorry ass, I have nothing to do with China.

    P.S.
Can you post a comment without vulgarities ,
have some respect to your elder !

Count your ass luck that I happen to come back to this thread else you’d get away with you signatory nonsense . 😉

Or gawd know what else [[[they]]] have concocted in their myriad Frankenstein labs ,[[[sobs]]] have perfected
weapon miniturisation to a fine art.
It could be carried out by some of the under performing athletics on special assignment, or may be even Jp agents, Chinese fifth columns who blend in more easily.

Agreed… Though the first recorded conversion of the Jewish Christian was an Ethiopian pilgrim… To this day the Ethiopian Orthodox Church still exists. While it was spreading it Europe it also spread through the Parthians into Central Asia and even reaching Western China. That church was very much separate from the Roman Catholics – but it’s history is not as well told…

  376. @Seraphim

The word translated in Greek as “church” is basically the same word as “assembly” and “synagogue” to the Hebrew speakers. That’s why in Corinthians it is translated as the church in the wilderness following Christ – were the 12 tribes
