For declaring in March that the U.S. economy might be reopened by Easter, President Donald Trump was roundly mocked.

Yet, it appears his political instincts were correct. He was more in tune with his country than were his critics.

By early Easter week, Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the governors of six states in the New York-New Jersey region had formed a consortium to synchronize the opening of their economies. California’s Gavin Newsom and the governors of Washington and Oregon had done the same.

The governors may disagree on the timing, May 1 or May 15, but most agree with Trump. America cannot remain shut down for months without lasting damage to the livelihood and lives of millions of citizens who are about to be shoved into a new Great Depression.

Twenty-two million Americans are now unemployed.

However, something just jolted the gathering consensus over the need to reopen soon. Tuesday and Wednesday, the U.S. set records for the numbers of fatalities from the virus. Tuesday it was 2,364 dead, the following day 2,371. That put the national casualty total above 30,000.

The U.S. did not record its first coronavirus fatality until Feb. 29. It took 38 days after that to reach 10,000. However, it took only nine days to vault from 10,000 fatalities to more than 30,000.

The ominous implication: If this 2,300-dead-per-day figure is near the new normal, we would surpass the 61,000 fatalities projected for the duration of the pandemic — in two weeks!

Even if we reduce the Tuesday-Wednesday average daily death toll by over half, to 1,000 deaths a day, that would mean 44,000 more dead for a total of 75,000 by June 1.

What makes COVID-19 worse than the flu?

The coronavirus is more easily transmissible. It is more savage in how it maims immune systems. It is more lethal, killing far more of the infected than the regular flu, though we do not know exactly how much more lethal. For we have no hard number of those who carry or have carried the virus asymptomatically.

Nor we do know whether having survived COVID-19 renders one immune to a new infection. Since the medical experts are predicting a second wave of the virus in late summer or fall, this is no small matter.

And seeing what happened on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt, the coronavirus could have a major impact on U.S. global commitments.

Americans were already coming home from the Middle East, drawing down our 12,000 troops in Afghanistan after a deal with the Taliban, and moving our 5,000 troops in Iraq into fewer bases.

We have disengaged from the Saudi war against the Houthi rebels in Yemen and are drawing down our forces in Syria.

In Libya’s civil war, it is Russians, Turks, Egyptians and Gulf Arabs, not Americans, who are the supporting actors.

American soft power is also in retreat from the world.

Some 10,000 Peace Corps volunteers have been brought home. Scores of thousands of U.S. citizens have been repatriated by the State Department. We have shut the door to Europe, China, the world.

What now becomes of the U.S. geostrategic “pivot,” the shift of planes, troops, ships and bases from the Middle and Near East to the Indo-Pacific theater to contain a rising China?

And contain China with what?

The Roosevelt has been ravaged by the coronavirus. As of Tuesday, 589 cases of COVID-19 were reported from a crew of 4,800. Four thousand sailors in Guam are in various stages of a 14-day isolation period in hotels and spare rooms across the island.

But it is not just the Roosevelt. Every U.S. warship — carriers, cruisers, frigates, destroyers, subs — has cramped quarters conducive to the spread of the coronavirus.

How many of these vessels will soon be doubling as hospital ships?

The same question might also be asked of the U.S. Army and Marine barracks in South Korea, Japan, Australia and Okinawa.

There are allegations that the coronavirus did not originate in the Wuhan “wet market” where bats are sold for food but instead escaped through a horrible blunder in a Chinese bioweapons laboratory a few miles away.

Whatever the truth, the Wuhan virus appears to have become the most effective means of disabling U.S. hard and soft power that we have encountered in many a decade.

ORDER IT NOW

Of those 10,000 Peace Corp volunteers, and scores of thousands of other Americans who have been repatriated home, how many of these “soft power” soldiers will be going back after they have been out of their host country for 18 months?
Will this pandemic prove the decisive factor in America’s retreat from global hegemony?

With the U.S. budget deficit for 2020 originally set at $1 trillion, now triple that, there is going to be a hard reckoning for the allocation of our diminished resources after the nation reopens.

And policing the planet is likely to be seen as yesterday’s priority, and a primary candidate for discard.

    It was never a priority.

“Policing the planet” was always based on a fraud, a fraud exposed in 1989 when NATO’s very reason for existing evaporated and the United States kept the barking poodle factory called the Council on Foreign Affairs up and running.

“Policing the planet” was only ever good for the people Charles Lindbergh complained about when Roosevelt was president: Bankers, the current administration, Zionists. It’s never “defended” any serious American interest, but it’s always on hand to meddle everywhere to make the rich richer.

“Policing the planet” was considered “a primary candidate for discard” by the people who voted for Trump in 2016. Lot of good it did them.

Christopher Caldwell asks, What did $20 trillion in debt buy? His answer: “Social peace.” The U.S. will print and distribute money, WHEREVER needed or wanted or demanded, to buy more social peace. Thus, there will be no allocation hard reckoning. However, when the printing inevitably causes inflation and must stop, that will be the end of the country as we know it. The U.S. will be a de facto police state, with a society resembling a blend of Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, and South Africa.

Last month before the lockdowns began there were officially 1.7 million unemployed & now there are over 22 million. This doesn’t count many still on payrolls in industries & small businesses covered by the new temporary federal Payroll Protection Program (now out of funds) or others not eligible. Even if average weekly unemployment claims are reduced by half or three-quarters, there could be 25-30 million plus unemployed by June 1. Unemployment benefits only last a few months & many states are falling far behind in processing new claims.
” With the U.S. budget deficit for 2020 originally set at $1 trillion, now triple that, there is going to be a hard reckoning for the allocation of our diminished resources after the nation reopens”…which better be (very) soon because sadly enough, it’s very unlikely that dismantling the military-industrial complex is tomorrow’s priority. Mr. Buchanan’s only opposition to US hegemony is the price tag.

Few people I’m aware of have spent their entire careers being in opposition to US hegemony, for all reasons.

One, it is wrong to attack nations that didn’t harm us, and didn’t threaten us, and especially if by doing so, you bring on global catastrophes, like the US did when it bungled into Europe for WWI, or when it bungled into Europe for WWII.

Few people understand that more than Buchanan. He’s been against all the aggressive war misadventures since Desert Storm, and for solid reasons of law, morality, national interest, and perhaps most of all, the truth. The first casualty of all of our Eternal wars for Israel.

  21. Following the blunder trail would sooner lead to Fort Detrick than to a Chinese lab. Excepting for the people who’ve apparently (and will) die of it, I’d have to agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments.

Even if it was just a bat or a mistake at the lab, whatever or whomever caused~ what might set in motion ~ the ineffable happiness and hope of humanity- when the chains of ((murderous slavery)) are broken, and the zio-fiend is brought to heel, deserves all the gratitude that the human race can muster from the depths of its long-beleaguered hearts.

If it was a bat, then humanity should build a monument and a statue to that bat that dwarfs Mount Rushmore. If it was a clumsy lab assistant, then we should carve that lab assistant, (perhaps in the act of dropping a vial), into the face of the planet’s biggest granite mountain.

Humanity and the earth’s most unlikely savior.

But, that all hinges on this virus bringing sanity to the policies of the ZUSA, and I’m a little too jaded at this point to have a lot of hope for that.

Being part of a collapsing society is no fun at all, and the US seems to be heading for the acceleration phase. Weimar Germany slid down the same slope of debt/financial trouble and mass impoverishment with the same financialization, speculation and sleaze.

The result was a dictatorship (or rather a civil war leading to a dictatorship with German (Jewish led) Bolsheviks and German nationalists (Freikorps) fighting it out on the streets), and IMO there’s a good possibility of the US going the same way.

If only Lao Tzu would be right in this case, but I doubt if taking down the Hegemon could be done without considerable bloodshed. Just one example of current anti-China propaganda is Tucker Carlson’s show, which is the only cable news show I watch. Tucker is fearless and is doing great work in many areas. Unlike other Fox hosts, he’s been consistently against US regime change wars and wants good relations with Russia. Yet, he’s always been anti-China, and nightly attacks them as being the cause of this pandemic.

Tucker claims there are “credible” sources within the US government who have proven that China is responsible for the leak of the virus (whether accidentally or on purpose), and that they then covered it up. So the Chinese government bears great responsibility for the tens of thousands of world-wide deaths, as well as the economic devastation. (Yet, did China tell Washington and other countries to shut down their economies?).

Apparently there are massive lawsuits being planned which claim that China owes the Hegemon trillions of dollars in compensation for its economic losses. What happens next, though, when China refuses to pay? It will be put up or shut time for the Ziocons. As is true in nature, cornered tigers never go down without a fight.

you’re just not very good at it.

Maybe that’s because I’m not hasbara at all!

Maybe it’s just that I see Pat talking about his precious ‘America first’, isolationism (Charles Lindbergh Nazism),

.. and I wonder.. OK Pat, you’re unwilling to fight and kill and die for Israel. Fine Pat. Just fine. You’ll have to make your peace with your maker when He asks you about that. It’s your own soul that you’re putting in jeopardy. Nothing I can do to help you.

But when Pat openly pines for the day that America forsakes its most important reason for existing = Israel, then he’s trying to damn the very idea of America itself!

America is God’s country. Who would even try to doubt that?! So since America is God’s country, then that means that America must do what God says, and if God says that America exists to serve Israel, as on your knees, and give your lives and your children’s lives for Israel, then THAT IS WHAT GOD WANTS!

    Genesis 12:3 3

“I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

I hope you can read English, because that is God saying He wants all nations to lay down their worthless lives for Israel. He wants you and your children to fight Iran for Israel. It’s not rocket science man!

Today God is very angry that an evil man, Bashar Hafez al-Assad is allowed to menace and kill and persecute Gods people with impunity. God considers Assad to be Hitler. Hitler tried to take over the world and kill everyone, because he was the world’s most evil man, just like Assad is today.

Both Hitler, and Assad don’t like Jewish supremacists. Both men slaughtered untold millions of their own people, out of their deranged madness to take over the world. Both men threaten global security, and peace and harmony in the world. Just as it was America’s job to destroy Hitler, now it’s America’s job to destroy Assad (and Iran and Lebanon and Jordan and Russia and all other nations that refuse to bow down and get on their knees for God/Israel).

I mean come on, you can’t be that daft, that you don’t know all of this!

Buchanan is shamelessly hoping that America is able to cynically use this virus to forsake its most holy of duties, and allow our Biblical purpose on this earth (to kill and die for Israel) to go unanswered! If he wants to gamble with his own immortal soul, when Bibi makes the call to arms, then that’s Pat’s business.

But America exists to serve Israel. America’s children were born to kill and die for Israel. God says so. Trump says so. All the Christian evangelical ministers all say so. Who are you to go against God?!

    Thank you!

And even when we can’t print dollars, it will still be our duty to send other people’s children to die for Israel.

What would have happened if America didn’t single-handedly destroy Nazism? We’d all be in gas chambers and ovens right now or goose stepping around and looking for Jews to kill. I’m starting to wonder if that isn’t want some people want today.

The *Greatest* generation had a choice. Either kill and die for an aspirational Israel and the right of Jewish supremacists to control the world’s money supply (and thereby pretty much everything else), or allow a madman to take over the world and push all non-Aryans into ovens.

Well the Greatest generation understood their call, and they suited up and went over to Europe and died like good little goyim, slaughtering and raping in the name of God.

Do we want to do any less?!

Would we rather mind our own business, and cut the military budget to a fraction of its unholy size, and spend the trillions on roads and bridges and helping some of the struggling people here at home?

Or spend all of our blood and treasure slaughtering Israel’s myriad and well-earned enemies?

In my previous comment, I posted a photo of an American disgrace, who didn’t want to slaughter German men, women and children wholesale, even after they raised their hand to international Jewish supremacism!

Now I’ll post a photo of a truly exceptional American.

A man who, unlike Patrick J. Buchanan, would be perfectly willing and eager to send every single one of your worthless, goyim American children, to kill and die in a slaughterhouse of horrors, in order to slavishly serve the Israel. He’d sell out his own country, if it meant getting reelected to the Senate. In fact, there’s nothing that Tom Cotton would not do, to serve the Jewish supremacists that exalted this execrable little human shit stain of a man to one of the highest offices in the land. He is a man who knows that Israel’s primacy must NEVER AGAIN! be threatened. And he’d see every last one of your worthless goyim children ripped apart in the holy land, to make sure of it.

The parallels are indeed striking, Miro23

Weimar Germany was also Jewish supremacist-dominated in absolute terms, exactly as we are today. They also saw their culture turned into an open sewer, and their children contemptuously used as depraved amusements for the supremacists and their assorted homos and pedophiles and others, all very eager to get in on the ‘fun’.

Your characterization of their financial situation as ‘sleazy’, is apt, and just like Weimar, we too are printing money like as if they’re trying to bring on a financial catastrophe.

My opinion of our elites, (just as it was during Weimar), is that being fantastically wealthy and powerful, is only so much fun, when there’s a thriving middle class, who’re well fed and have a roof over their heads. There’s not too much fun you can have with such people. Their children don’t go to bed hungry. But if you can destroy the middle class, and send them reeling into destitution and near-starvation, then they (and their children!) will do almost anything to survive.

That is where the ‘fun’ really kicks in for the elites. There are only so many trailer parks to find prepubescent white girls to amuse Jeffery and his clients. And in the suburbs, the white girls (and boys) have fathers and are well fed. But destroy that father’s ability to feed his children, and soon the pangs of hunger and desperation will kick in. (hehehe)

[cue image of elite deviously rubbing hands]

They don’t want a nation, they want a playground, with your children as their toys.

When the economy collapses, they get two things they crave as desperately as any crack or meth addict craves; power and an impoverished citizenry they can exploit to their black-heart’s content.

When the orcs go wild in the cities, it will give them the power to smash in your door to restore order, and smash in your face, if you resist.

This is the kind of power every psychopath craves- as a heroin addict craves his next fix. The unlimited, absolute power to rape and brutalize and even murder other people with absolute impunity. They want to be like little Gods, over their subjects.

And our elites today, are salivating enough to fill a small ocean with their drool, for exactly that kind of power.

And the battle lines you describe, with the Red states as the metaphorical Nazis (or white nationalists or White Russians, during their Bolshevik mass slaughter fest), and the ‘wokes’ (or ‘Reds’) as the parasites and sexual deviants and losers of every stripe, are hunkering down for the when the shooting war begins.

I do think that this criminal 9/11 government could drive the US into a civil war. If/when the shooting starts, it’s a completely different dynamic. The LGBT crowd, and peaceful leftist middle class will need to radicalize and support the neocons/Homeland security.

If it follows the lines of the Spanish Civil War (also radical Bolsheviks vs. the traditional right), the security forces will probably split (mirroring the general population). In Spain it was the army mostly to the right, the navy to the left and police split down the centre.

The optimal solution, would be to get the 9/11 neocons out of the US government (along with their MSM and freaky counter-cultural friends) but it’s obviously not going to happen.

  46. NATO & Five Eyes plus One have no choice but to disband the behemoth Second World War relic of the Military Industrial Complex & USA must repatriate all their troupes from the over 800 worldwide bases given that there is no possible way that the USA is going to have the money to maintain the once lauded & now laughed at hegemonic MIC & laughable ‘New World Order’ that Kissinger keeps meandering about in his lament for former glory days of hegemonic control.

Clearly, America is fucked financially as deflation set in long ago when Secular Stagnation set in.
What America is faced with is a Greater Depression far worse and orders of magnitudes longer than the dirty thirties manifested. Overhead costs for unwinnable war mongering that is no longer supported by any sovereign nations is not politically correct or even politically advisable these days.

America watched as Wall Street sold them down the river to China back in the 80s. Mr. Buchanan knows all too well that war is not possible now that China is the world manufacturer that has the lion’s share of high production capability that America could only dream about today.

No, Mr. Buchanan America will not be great again as that fate was sealed when your colleagues on Wall Street bought the votes of Congress in order to deregulate the Glass-Steagall Act so that the Wall Street investment houses could further damage the American taxpayers & the very government bureaucracy that it is supposed to maintain in stewardship.

I was raised by a Chartered Accountant, Mr. Buchanan. America is insolvent, and so too is the superstructure of USA Military, as well as command structure & architecture/bureaucracy.

The New World Disorder manifested out of the failed New World Order that could never manifest as envisioned for the Middle East takeover of the Gulf of Oman et cetera. America bit off too much to chew on when it comes to imperialist creep & drift.

nCov-19 was most assuredly cover-up CIA Psyop to add subterfuge into their failing hegemonic USD which is deflating the dark pool derivatives universe even further as we write here.

nCov-19 is a Gain-of-Function Dual Use bioweapon designed & engineered for lethality & stealth covert worldwide contagion as it was designed & built to spread exponentially throughout the world and all life. Moreover, not ony will this engineered deadly pathogen render all military infrastructure & equipment useless but it will shut down space exploration and NASA research forever as they will never be able to maintain life in a contained space station without the chimera super-spreading viral load contagion breaking out to render operations stopped.

This bioweapon was built & engineered with molecular tools so that it would wreak havoc globally to shut down all economic activity & force a financial reset that will not actually be a reset.

Like I said, America is insolvent.

    Maybe. Then again, probably not.

Just having that “maybe” at a significant percentage is really bad news. Please note that positions are hardening. 9/11 is now a proven crime and the government that supposedly represents the will of the US people is still covering for the perpetrators.

“If/when the shooting starts, it’s a completely different dynamic.”

So, will you be front and center?

I’m talking about the similarities to the slide into conflict in the Weimar Republic and pre civil war Spain. I want to attract attention to the risks and get some sanity from this corrupt government. A genuine investigation of the 9/11 crime, and arrest of the suspects would diffuse a lot of tension.

“The optimal solution, would be to get the 9/11 neo-cons out of the US government (along with their MSM and freaky counter-cultural friends)”

    Optimal solution for Who/Whom?

For the majority of the US public who want to be told the truth about what happened that day – and have the perpetrators put on trial. The US neo-cons and the US media have consistently interfered with and blocked the process.

The truth as told by the US government is that the three WTC towers collapsed due to fire – which is what the NIST report claimed – so maybe I can ask you a question.

What’s your opinion, if you have one, of the recent University of Alaska Fairbanks report on the collapse of Building 7? There’s a video below that summarizes the main points.

The optimal solution, would be to get the 9/11 neocons out of the US government (along with their MSM and freaky counter-cultural friends) but it’s obviously not going to happen.

I’d say that about one in ten to one in twenty of the people I know, are aware of the 9/11 false flag attack. Most of them are too bovine, apathetic, incurious, or terrified by the implications.. to delve into it. But let’s say they all knew, then what?

I’ll never forget Waco. I remember the whole thing, the siege, the terror and ultimately the decision to burn them all alive, for having the temerity to thumb their noses at the fiend.

If anyone had the slightest curiosity about what happened, the truth is all out there. The FBI lied about starting the fires. They lied about everything. It turns out that people who were trying to flee the flames, as everyone knew they instinctively would, were machine-gunned down at the only exit to the building. The coroner called their deaths homicides, because they were riddled with bullets coming from outside the building. Even Lon Horiuchi was there.

Those people, including the children, were deliberately burned alive. Having incurred the unholy wrath of a fiend. The same fiend that dropped gasoline bombs on Dresden. The same fiend that tortured and lynched Gadhafi, the same fiend that is operating a permanent torture camp as part of America’s new, post-9/11 identity/ethos/charactor.

Because of America’s bovine apathy and ubiquitous moral cowardice.

Basically Ehud Barak laid it all out on 9/11, when he said nothing would ever be the same. Getting on a plane or ship or crossing a border, all of that would change from that day forward.

9/11 had more than one purpose. Yes, of course it was the pretext to wage aggressive wars all across the Middle East and beyond, but it was also intended to create the Total Surveillance Police State here at home.

Basically what they saw happening, was the Internet was exposing too much of their murderous treachery to the sheople, who’d always been extremely easy to control by simply owning the newspapers of note, and the network television stations. But now the truth was getting out to an inconvenient and concerning percentage of the sheople. A few of the sheople, were waking up, and discovering that America is a fenced in farm, with sheople dogs (police, CIA, FBI, NSA, etc..) all around.

So they decided to do what they do best, and they turned the American people into Palestinians. With check points and surveillance and Police State tactics of belligerence and treating all Americans (including children and 96 year old grannies) as if they were terrorists.

That’s how they see the world. ((They’re)) all very special, and the rest of us are basically just dormant (for now) terrorists and Nazis, who must be kept down with an iron zio-boot on their necks.

But Woodrow Wilson handed them the keys to global domination, and all we’ve had since then is wars and slaughter and hatred and global strife.

Imagine if Wilson had told them to pound sand, and followed the Constitution and printed our own damn dollars (interest free), as the American people saw fit?

The Jewish supremacists driving the planet to the brink today, would be nothing more than a cabal of powerless, grubby little men, wishing with all their black-hearts that they controlled the nation’s money supply.

If Jesus Christ was the most momentous persona/event/epic of the fist two millenniums, then similarly Woodrow Wilson has made his mark as potentially the most momentous man of the next two millenniums. Having delivered humanity into depraved slavery and horrors unimaginable.

Orwell’s boot, stamping on a human face forever, is close, but I suspect George would be aghast at what lies in the black depths of a Jewish supremacist’s rancid soul.

If Max Boot could, I honestly suspect that he would like very much to give each and every single white Christian on the planet, the Blake Leibel / Iana Kasian treatment, over and over.

Leibel was steeped in his Jewish supremacism, to the point of obsession. And Kasian’s horrific torture/murder was simply the natural expression of Jewish supremacism unleashed.

I imagine that for Jewish supremacists, the long days of the Holodomor were their slice of pure heaven on this earth. Millions of the hardiest and most successful white Christian farmers, slowly and excruciatingly made to watch their loved ones starve to death before their eyes. Mothers watching their children die day by day, husbands watching their wives succumb to starvation, all imposed on them by a fiend so cruel, that it confounds reason or comprehension.

Why not just shoot them? Because like Blake Leibel, that cheats them of the giddy pleasure of watching them suffer! Knowing that you are the cause of their torment and anguish, which makes it all the more orgiastic for the J-supremacist.

This is true every day in Palestine, where the Gentiles are humiliated with petty torments, and driven to near insanity, for the obvious pleasure it gives the J-supremacists to torment them. Like a cruel boy torturing some pitiful animal to death. They get off on their sadism, and Woodrow handed them the keys to absolute domination of the Western world.

It doesn’t look good, going forward.

COVID-19 won’t retire the world’s policeman, unfortunately. America will always find time for endless war and militarism on behalf of our (((greatest ally))) in the history of America. In order for our role of policeman to end America will need to collapse into its own footprint or we’ll need to get our asses kicked in a military conflict. Besides, it won’t be long before the U.S. military runs out of white guys and without white guys running things and doing the fighting we won’t win wars.

When our black and tranny admirals are running their ships aground or into each other during a naval conflict with China then we’ll now the end is nigh for the Jewish run colony called America.

With the U.S. budget deficit for 2020 originally set at $1 trillion, now triple that, there is going to be a hard reckoning for the allocation of our diminished resources after the nation reopens.

Personally, I expected that there would be a QE4, but not happening quite like this.

It’s bigger and faster than any of the previous QE’s, and it’s combined with an actual rise in unemployment ( 22 million jobs gone) rather than just the threat of a rise in unemployment.

I also thought that the US financial system (as it presently is, ZIRP, dollar reserve status, massive debt) couldn’t sustain another QE – and now I’m certain that it can’t. Something has to give – ZIRP (bond market) or the dollar or probably both.

One theory is that this was inevitable with or without the virus. The virus arrived, and it’s being pumped up out of all proportion to deflect the blame for the approaching trouble away from those who are actually responsible. And they receive a quick bonus of $ 2.3 trillion in free money while the MSM trumpets that it was all China’s fault.

Has nothing to do with China per se. The rise and fall of nations is allowed by the Almighty. The US and Western Europe figure they would face no reckoning for what they have done around the world. They also think they would have been protected by divine intervention… Yet they still haven’t learned the lesson of repentance – but would rather blame the WHO and China.
