“Every Day Is Jan. 6 Now.”

That was the headline over the editorial of 1,000 words in The New York Times of Sunday last.

On first read, I thought the Times was conceding its obsession and describing its mission. For the editorial began by bewailing yet anew the “horrifying” event, “the very real bloodshed of that awful day,” the “once-unthinkable trauma.”

Still, a year later, said the Times, “the Republic faces an existential threat,” as the “Capitol riot … continues in statehouses across the country, in a bloodless, legalized form that no police officer can arrest and that no prosecutor can try in court.”

“We should stop underestimating the threat facing the country. … (our) democracy … is in grave danger.”

What the Times is saying is that the electoral reforms being enacted democratically in red states — requiring voter IDs, for example, and subject to judicial review — are a Republican continuation of the Capitol riot.

Why cannot our liberal media let it go? Why does the distortion and hysteria about Jan. 6 seem to grow with each retelling?

Now, undeniably, as I wrote in a column the next morning, Jan. 6 was “The Worst of Days for Trump & Trumpists.”

“The worst of the day’s events for Trump came when a segment of a friendly crowd of 50,000 he just addressed concluded its march down the Mall to the U.S. Capitol by smashing its way into the building and invading and occupying the Senate and House chambers.

“Members of Congress were forced to flee and hide. A protester, an Air Force veteran, was shot to death by a Capitol cop. Vice President Mike Pence, who was chairing the joint session, was taken into protective custody by his Secret Service detail. Doors were broken open. Windows were smashed, and the building was trashed …

“What Americans watched was a mob occupation and desecration of the temple of the American Republic.” I added, “And the event will be forever exploited to discredit not only Trump but the movement he led and the achievements of his presidency.”

That last line understated what an obsession Jan. 6 has become for the nation’s establishment and media elite.

The left cannot let go of Jan. 6. Indeed, it has fixated upon, exploited and exaggerated the riot to discredit and destroy the Trump presidency in the history books and to prevent Donald Trump from ever running or being elected president again.

Though Trump was exonerated by the Senate of the impeachment charge brought by Nancy Pelosi’s House, the House select committee wants to try Trump again and again in the court of public opinion and wants President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice to find some crime with which to charge and convict him.

There are other reasons the left cannot let go of Jan. 6.

Democrats have no other issue on which to run this November.

The Biden presidency has produced an uninterrupted string of disasters: the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle, the Texas border crisis, inflation, an explosion of gun violence and murders setting records in Democrat-run cities, failure to produce an adequate federal response to the delta and omicron waves of COVID-19.

Again, Jan. 6 was a riot, involving assaults on Washington and Capitol cops and the disruption of a formal congressional procedure to validate the electoral vote victory of Joe Biden.

But was Jan. 6 really the planned coup, the terrorism, the sedition, the armed insurrection, the attempt to overthrow the U.S. government?

Was Jan. 6 really comparable to Pearl Harbor and 9/11, during each of which 3,000 Americans went to their deaths in an hour’s time and major wars followed — as Vice President Kamala Harris said yesterday?

If so, why, a year after Jan. 6, 2021, has no one been charged with inciting a rebellion, sedition, treason, armed insurrection, plotting a coup, or a takeover of the government of the United States?

Thus far, all the charges prosecuted and punished are consistent with a riot, which is what Jan. 6 was. Comparisons of this three-hour mob action to Pearl Harbor and 9/11 are almost sacrilegious.

Was that QAnon shaman occupying the chair in the Senate chamber really the moral equivalent of Mohamed Atta ramming an airliner into the World Trade Center or Adm. Isoroku Yamamoto plotting the Dec. 7 surprise attack on Pearl Harbor?

Another reason for the left to paint up the horror of that day is that the perpetrators of Jan. 6 were not the radical left who battled cops and burned and looted Seattle, Portland, Milwaukee and scores of other cities in the aftermath of George Floyd’s killing.

They were the “deplorables” of Trump, the populists of the American right, against whom any slander is justified.

Question: If the left is so terrified of Trump it feels it must prevent him from even running again, by imposing a criminal conviction, what does that say about the left’s belief in American democracy?

What does that tell us about the left’s trust in the people?

Now, undeniably, as I wrote in a column the next morning, […]

“What Americans watched was a mob occupation and desecration of the temple of the American Republic.”

is the first time I can recall Mr. Buchanan owning up to his having help carve the sacrilege narrative into the Establishment’s stone tablets.

But after a year, has he still not heard of Ray Epps? Even the television on which he apparently relies showed a lower priest from Kentucky, right there in the temple, asking the Attorney General about the DOJ’s presence among “the perpetrators of Jan. 6.”

Mr. Buchanan remains more concerned with keeping Team Red fired up, faulting President Biden for “failure to produce an adequate federal response to the delta and omicron waves of COVID-19.” What would that be? Never mind, stay reverent, America — vote GOP.

We always have been since the early 1900s, via the jewish-owned economic entities since the American civil war, the factories and slave trades. They wanted us infested with surly blacks after slavery “ended”. After, they moved the blacks North. They were cheap labor in the factories of the jewish. When FIRE moved the factories to Chinese slave labor, the blacks were weaponized against us. It’s all progressed from there. But Pat can’t go there.

When the state propaganda apparatus of an imperialist oligarchy as abusive as ours trumpets that regime over and over and over as a viable, functioning democracy whose passionate commitment to protect its subjects’ welfare is mortally imperiled by a handful of its own discontented citizens, whom it relentlessly declares “the most dangerous enemies of freedom”, my now old New Left bullshit detector is chirping like mad.

  7. Variations on a Theme. Jan 6 is just another putrid lie from the scum sucking boot licking and azz kissing Dims and sycophantic twins in the MSM. They really are cowardly frightened cretins. Deep State keeps them in line by suggesting what is coming, which should be terrifying to them. That is not a light at the end of this seemingly endless tunnel, it’s the headlight of a locomotive. It will stop and become clear when the fur flies.

As for Patty, my boy. He continues to barf out words and sometimes even sentences. He just can’t stop trying to be the sycophant he has always been. It’s how he got the job and how he keeps it even though he is way past the expiration date.

Can’t agree with that — it was a FedSurrection there is zero doubt that is who actually led it –the FBI/Feds/Pelosi Cops — and planned what happened to create the narrative we are now seeing 24/7 that if you oppose the NWO Lefty loons you are a “terrorist”…can’t agree that this was a “good” thing — Trump was deranged in ego to green light the stupidity of bringing all those people there that day– the outcome was obvious to anyone not a complete dullard– he’s either some level of controlled opposition — Rothschild’s bailed him for years and Wilbur Ross is their “man” — or there’s something definitely wrong with him and his “advisors” at a very deep level, 4 years of appointing his “Enemies” to high offices, Wray et al, I guess we should have expected more of the same on his way out….

Some riot you have here Mr.Buchanan!

This was a false flag. Gullible patriots who still believed in the 1st Amendment were taken advantage of by the Deep State.

  12. Jan 6 was a false flag attack on the Capital organized by the FBI and attributed to Trump supporters. Nancy and Liz know this.

Texas and Florida are experiencing an influx of people from New York, Illinois and California. Red States are getting redder and Blue States are getting bluer. The Country is coming apart.

  14. Now, undeniably, as I wrote in a column the next morning,

Pat, it’s undeniable that you wrote that claptrap, but what you wrote is by no means “undeniable”. What you wrote in that column was just a recitation of the TV news outlets’ nonsense version of what happened that day.

If you mean to keep on writing political commentary, you should stop watching TV news. It makes you come across as someone who agrees with what the MSM pushes, with a little quibble or two about the use of words.

  15. It’s a “game” (in the sense of Eric Berne’s “Games People Play”). The game is called “Now I’ve Got You You Son Of A B***h”.

They have caught Trump supporters doing something wrong – and they will go on about it for ever. It beats talking about ballot stuffing, or the election of a new people.

  16. Patricus says:

“Again, Jan. 6 was a riot, involving assaults on Washington and Capitol cops and the disruption of a formal congressional procedure to validate the electoral vote victory of Joe Biden.”

I was in front of the Capitol building for about 2.5 hours, until about 3:20 PM. The “riot” or “assaults” were not evident to me, or others around me. No one talked about occupying the Capitol. People held Trump signs and American flags but there was no violence whatsoever. Some sang God Bless America. It was a quiet protest gathering and the median age was probably mid fifties. Along Constitution Ave. not a single window was broken. None had been boarded over. There was no trash in the streets. It was kind of dull so I decided to leave in order to get on a Metro train before a rush hour mob.

The crowd was immense on Constitution Ave., shoulder to shoulder and completely covering the avenue. No violence or agitation had developed by that time. I had to walk north a few blocks so I could move westward. I happened to pass an ambulance and about ten cop vehicles racing to the Capitol. I later guessed these were responding to the Ashli Babbit killing. A man I met on the street told me the Capitol had been breached.

The word “riot” is an exaggeration. I have seen lively demonstrations in the past. When a group of guys decide to throw rocks or bricks at cops it is unmistakable and loud. A person 100 yards away is aware. None of this happened while I was there January 6.

I was amazed to later see on media reports of a violent coup or insurrection. How could I have missed that? There was a collection of thousands of smart phone videos inside and around the Capitol building posted on YouTube. They quickly took it down but others, such as Rumble, still have it. For a couple hours I watched hundreds of these videos which ranged from 10 seconds to about a minute. There was no violence in the ones I watched. It appeared more or less like what I saw in person. At the very worst it was like an average Black Friday shopping mob.

A single witness can miss a lot but at least he or she is an actual witness. If someone who wasn’t present describes the events of the day they should be ignored.

When white people whom our Jewish elites detest exercise their fundamental rights and/or oppose white genocide and refuse to go quietly into the good night then suddenly “democracy is under attack”. But the same Jewish elites and deracinated whites lecture us that BLM and antifa laying waste to the nation and destroying close to two billion in property over a black animal with a mile long rap sheet and a “fascist” president is the very essence of democracy and freedom.

Disgraced CNN loser Chris Cuomo said that political protests aren’t supposed to be nice but we all know that only applies if our Jewish overlords agree with the cause.

The late Revilo Oliver was correct when he said that America would resort to totalitarian measures and gulags similar to the Soviet Union once white Americans can no longer be manipulated and controlled using Jewish television and media.

There is NO ‘Left’ in any sense among the US power elites. The NYT, simple observation of ownership, personnel and content tells us, is a yeshiva dedicated to Jewish power in the USA, and US ‘Full Spectrum Dominance’ over the planet.

  21. What the Dems are doing is trying to shore up a lie, so that the dam doesn’t burst.

The occupation of the Capitol was planned in an FBI operations room. The agents provocateurs were seeded in the crowd, and did their parts to herd the Trump rally goers onto the Capitol grounds and into the building.

Why? Because the Capitol is under Fed jurisdiction. As seen by the collapse of the J20 2017 anti-Trump riot prosecution, charges don’t stick in municipal DC, even when people are kettled and arrested en masse in the street in the act of rioting.

On the other hand, getting people onto Federal property is a game changer. Capitol police don’t even need to respond to Access to Information. Cameras everywhere. FBI, DHS and DOJ running the prosecutions.

For four years the Dems chafed at watching Trump supporters living large. Twisting a routine Trump rally into a chargeable moment in his last days in office was their revenge. At the very least it would provide a photo-op of ugly clashes as the police tried to control the crowds. As it turned out, the plot exceeded their expectations.

This is bigger than Watergate. There it was just G. Gordon Liddy and his little band of Cuban burglars. Here you have FBI regulars and a plot against the sitting President, which may lead right back to the highest reaches of the security services.

  22. The good news is that in a year we wont have to put up with the House Democrats male bovine fecal matter.

The alarming thing about Biden is his history going back to the middle 80s attacking whites in South Africa and at home. Most rightwing people understood how untenable apartheid was and were looking for ways to dismantle the system with the least bloodshed back in that time. Look at Thatcher and Reagan who were seeking ways to get that done without name calling or finger pointing. Biden was out there howling about how “ugly the white regime in South Africa” was in his Senate performances, pandering at the time to a biased media and black voting base. Biden has a most peculiar aggressive streak against his own ethnic group. He’s bloodthirsty and represents the opinion of perhaps 1/10 white guys and perhaps 1/20 white men his own age. He’s an anomaly. How can anyone in good conscience and good faith be so hostile to his own Co ethnic like he is? He’s creating massive instability pandering to the forces he allies with.

  48. @Getaclue

It was always in the works to call people a terrorist anyway. They call the school board meetings terrorism even though trying to link them to Jan 6 is ridiculous. It’s kind of inevitable if you oppose the system. This is not a natural system, so it can only work by force. It’s completely set up against normal White people peacefully going about their lives- ultimately you’re not going to be able to exist without being a terrorist (this is seeded with the covid narrative). They called soldiers returning from the wars for Israel terrorists because they said they would be angry finding out their buddies died for nothing. Well of course! The answer to a moral person would be to admit what you did wrong, resign, and stop doing those things, and in that way prevent terrorism. Obviously this isn’t something the deep state people would consider, so you’re left at an impasse.

I’m not condoning or encouraging violence, nor saying false flags are impossible. What I’m saying is we should be peacefully steadfast about our existence and our self governance, through whatever mechanism: local, state or federal, and ignore their narrative and their lies. They have all the power anyway. We can’t disengage from removing their power because we’re worried their power will make false flags. Where would that leave us?

As for Trump, I think the problem is he should ‘get a clue’. He was concerned about loyalty walking into the belly of the beast, so he appointed family members. Unfortunately the top family member was Jared… Yikes.

Also from the Trump angle Jan 6 was another milestone in the revolution. He could have asked people to stay in the capital, and walked in there himself. But he pulled back because no one knew what that would mean exactly, though we knew it would mean violence. People wouldn’t be willing to go all the way, which I completely understand. This is all very new and bizarre and more people are waking up. The development was huge numbers of patriots going to DC and refusing to say the election wasn’t rigged.

The real battle is for the hearts and minds of the cops and military. If they didn’t enforce their actions AOC would just be a ranting dumb whore, and Chuck Schumer would just be a whining old Jew.

However they’re looking to purge the military and police at which point it’s peacefully attempt to secede, devolve power to the states or just give up.

P.S. I would recommend Nick Fuentes stream on this issue, like all Fuentes streams it’s looooong but still very insightful.
