In Shanksville, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, former President George W. Bush’s theme was national unity — and how it has been lost over these past 20 years.

“In the weeks and months following the 9/11 attacks,” said Bush, “I was proud to lead an amazing, resilient, united people. When it comes to the unity of America, those days seem distant from our own. A malign force seems at work in our common life that turns every disagreement into an argument, and every argument into a clash of cultures.”

Though he surely did not realize it, Bush had himself, moments before, given us an example of how that unity was destroyed when he drew a parallel between the terrorists of 9/11 and the Trump protesters of Jan 6. Said Bush:

“There is little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home. But in their disdain for pluralism, in their disregard for human life, in their determination to defile national symbols, they are children of the same foul spirit.”

What is Bush saying here?

That Ashli Babbitt, the Air Force veteran shot to death trying to enter the House chamber on Jan. 6, and Mohamed Atta, who drove an airliner into the North Tower of the World Trade Center in a massacre of close to 3,000 people, are “children of the same foul spirit.”

Query: Was not Bush himself here giving us an example of the “malign force” that “turns every disagreement … into a clash of cultures”?

Bush did not mention his own contribution to our national divide: his invasion of a country, Iraq, that did not threaten us, did not attack us, and did not want war with us — to disarm it of weapons it did not even have.

Which contributed more to the loss of America’s national unity?

The four hours of mob violence in the Capitol the afternoon of Jan. 6, 2021, or the 18-year war in Iraq that Bush launched in 2003?

“In those fateful hours” after 9/11, said Bush, “Many Americans struggled to understand why an enemy would hate us with such zeal.”

Yet, well before 9/11, Osama bin Laden, in his declaration of war on us, listed his grievances. Our sanctions were starving the children of Iraq. Our military presence on the sacred soil of Saudi Arabia, home to Mecca, was a national insult and a blasphemous outrage to Islam.

After 9/11, Bush invaded Afghanistan and Iraq. President Barack Obama attacked Libya and plunged us into the Syrian and Yemeni civil wars.

Thus, over 20 years, we have been responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands — Afghans, Iraqis, Syrians, Yemenis, soldiers and civilians alike — and driven hundreds of thousands more from their homes and their countries.

Are Americans really as oblivious, as Bush suggests, as to why it was that our enemies “hate us with such zeal”?

Many of these peoples want us out of their countries for the same reason that 18th- and 19th-century Americans wanted the French, British and Spanish out of our country and out of our hemisphere.

Yet, it is not only the Bush and Obama wars that have made us so many enemies abroad and so deeply divided us at home.

ORDER IT NOW

Our southern border is being overrun by illegal immigrants whose number, since President Joe Biden took office, has been running at close to 2 million a year, with 30,000 “get-aways” a month. These last are mostly males who never make contact with the Border Patrol as they move on to their chosen destinations. They are coming now not only from Mexico and the northern tier countries of Central America but also from some 100 countries around the world.

Americans fear they are losing their country to the uninvited and invading millions of the Global South coming to dispossess them of their patrimony. They never voted for this invasion and have wanted their chosen leaders to stop it.

Former President Donald Trump earned their trust because he tried and, to a great degree, succeeded.

Unlike previous generations, our 21st-century divisions are far broader — not just economic and political, but social, moral, cultural and racial.

Abortion, same-sex marriage and transgender rights divide us. Socialism and capitalism divide us. Affirmative action, Black Lives Matter, urban crime, gun violence and critical race theory divide us. Allegations of white privilege and white supremacy, and demands that equality of opportunity give way to equity of rewards, divide us. In the COVID-19 pandemic, the wearing of masks and vaccine mandates divide us.

Demands to tear down monuments and memorials to those who were, until lately, America’s greats — from Christopher Columbus to George Washington to Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson, from Abraham Lincoln to Robert E. Lee to Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson — divide us.

We are even divided today on the most fundamental of questions:

Is America now, and has it always been, a good and great country, worthy of the loyalty and love of all its children, of all its citizens?

And are we Americans proceeding toward that “more perfect union” or heading for a reenactment of our previous violent disunion?

Patrick J. Buchanan is the author of “Nixon’s White House Wars: The Battles That Made and Broke a President and Divided America Forever.”

Tonight AOC attended a 50K a plate “Met gala” in an expensive couture white dress that read, in big red letters, “Tax the Rich.” Can we really laugh at this as shockingly tone deaf or obtuse or hypocritical or whatever? Or should we take it as the deliberate “fuck you, plebe–yes, we’re trolling you” that it is?

Good question. I know little of this AOC, but I suspect its more the hypocrisy than the “fuck you”.
These kinds of people are notorious for believing their own bullshit. How monumentally fucked in the head you must be to wear an expensive one-off designer dress that has the words “tax the rich” on it to a 50K a plate dinner ?

Once again that loudmouthed imbecile Trump has spoken an inconvenient truth that is absolutely verboten to say in the corporate media, that that idiot Baby Bush has no damn right to lecture anyone on 9/11. It was Bush’s incompetence that failed to protect the United States from the most devastating foreign attack in our history. It was Bush’s personal chitchats with his good buddy god almighty that led to wasting trillions of dollars in foreign wars in which the United States was defeated and our civil liberties forfeited. Contrary to fake narratives Bin Laden did not mince words in why he opposed American foreign policy. He told us exactly what he thought. Bin Laden did not attack America because it was supposedly so pure and exceptional, because of women’s rights or because we have the Mall of America and the NFL. He hated what the America government was doing in the Middle East.

Ashli Babbitt is on video walking to the Capitol telling people that she merely wanted to have her voice heard which is now a grievous act of domestic extremism since she is the wrong race (white) and wrong political viewpoints (right of center).

The black security guard could have pushed her back through the window and blocked it with his body. She would have been sandwiched between him and the police directly behind her. In a summer of riots in Washington DC, Portland and other cities in 2020, nobody was shot by Federal police just for pushing forward during a demonstration.

To say that Ashli Babbitt was justifiably shot is to say that all demonstrators who cross a line deserve lethal force, without warning.

Trolling? Yes. But, that photo encapsulates much of what Pat is talking about. AOC and her immigrant parents are parasites, living off of others. They, like millions of others flee failed nations, like a swarm of parasitic locusts, bringing into our countries the same behaviors the wrecked their home countries. The behaviors that make countries successful are trust, cooperation, industry, good planning, etc. These parasites lack that. They seek a paternalistic government that will take care of them. Like a swarm of locusts, they just consume everything in sight, creating the chaos that we all see, without adding an ounce of value to this country.

Reddit has a compilation of the videos into one video so you can see what happened from various angles at the same time:

    https://reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout?utm_content=subreddit&utm_medium=post_embed&utm_name=327b4e29a4aa4cb4836a002cf26eb6ad&utm_source=embedly&utm_term=ksgvin

One point to be made is that it can be seen in the video it wasn’t the House Chamber but one of the corridors in the Capitol. That was still a criminal act, but the statement by her killer that she was climbing through a window into the House Chamber is a lie.

More significantly is what is happening in the video clip in the upper right corner. I’m a little surprised this hasn’t been commented on more. You can see in that video there are police officers on the landing with the rioters. A plainclothes agent in a dark suit orders the cops back down the stairs away from the rioters, and blocks riot cop reinforcements from coming up the stairs until after Babbitt has been murdered. Who was this guy and why did he call off the police until after Ashley had been executed?

  32. “Is America now, and has it always been, a good and great country, worthy of the loyalty and love of all its children, of all its citizens?”

America is just another country. Nothing special except that it has been exceptionally successful and powerful because it was founded, developed and overwhelmingly populated by White people of European and Christian ancestry. That is a recipe for success, but we are no better morally or spiritually than our European ancestors. That’s pretty good though.

Whites are empathetic and sensitive people. We are also intelligent and tough. But we are prone to committing hubris. We fought two world wars of White suicide in the name of power and prestige. That left us vulnerable to those evil gypsy-style criminals; the Jews.

In fact, Britain and the U.S. decided to become enemies of Germany BECAUSE of Jewish pressure. And Arthur James Balfour created the Jewish state in an Arab country because of domestic Jewish pressure (money) in Britain. Balfour and Churchill were both bitches for the Jews. We need more courage than that. They were bad leaders.

In the U.S. we made a HUGE mistake in the late-19th and early 20th centuries by letting in hordes of Jews. And make no mistake; Jews are NOT White. They are the self-declared enemies of Whites.

Ever since, like a metastasizing cancer they have bought and whined and entertained their way into overwhelming power, and then proceeded to weaponize nonWhites as their foot soldiers in destroying Whites and civilization.

Jews are the ones who have destroyed our unity. We have let them, but Jews are the destructive aggressors. Jews sold us a fatal bill of goods.

    • Jews are the ones responsible for the disastrous civil rights bill of the 1960s.
    • Jews were the leaders of the “New Left” of the 1960s that destroyed Christianity and manifested itself in the disgusting hippies and the equally disgusting religion of Negro Worship.
    • Jews WROTE the 1965 immigration bill that has left us open to a hostile invasion of low-IQ, third-world savages.
    • Jews have used their power to make us fight for Israel and against our own interests.
    • Jews are turning the U.S. into a Soviet-style tyranny.

Under the circumstances, the nigger had every reasonable belief that lethal force was about to be applied by said mob and had justification to use lethal force himself to counter it.

How did it become contagious, and dominant? (Of course, there are thousands of places where it has NOT become dominant, but those are being destroyed.) So, the answer to Pat’s question is: the ACCEPTANCE of the Jewish mental state.

One answer to this “acceptance” question is that a predilection running through the American psyche is to embrace what has been called “the con style.” Another reason is the power of “the talking gene.”

The southern border has been open since the 1960s when the Jews came to power in a malignant deep state under that bitch for the Jews LBJ.
The last time the southern border was secure was when Eisenhower ordered Operation Wetback. The Jews HATED that and declared it racist. Then the Jews WROTE the 1965 immigration bill that officially opened the U.S. to low-IQ, third-world savages.
Then Reagan signed the largest illegal-alien amnesty bill.

Saying that the Jewish ethos (I have detailed it previously) unraveled the country does not get to the bottom of it. “Why the heck was it accepted?” is the real question. How did it become contagious, and dominant?

The ((Jews)) have been waging a culture war (really, a counter-culture war) against American values (in tandem with their Marxist-Zionist war against the Christendom, Western Civilization, and world civilizations) for over a century now. I tag it “From Bolsheviks to Beatniks to Booomers,” and it’s swept through academia, the government, business, banking, MSM, etc. from New York to Chicago to Hollywood, and influenced every place in between.

With the neocons, the ((Jews)) finally broke into the right in a big way. They should have been careful what they wished for, because neoconned America has shown the world just how evil, arrogant, savage, incompetent, criminal and poisonous these people are.

That’s why neoconned Boomer jackasses like George W Bush are so desperate to save face by demonizing traditional America. But he was only neoconnable because America had been systematically infiltrated, ((Jewed)), degraded and whored for a century by ((Jewish)) culture wars and ((Jewish)) hot wars.

“In those fateful hours” after 9/11, said Bush, “Many Americans struggled to understand why an enemy would hate us with such zeal.” — Pat Buchanan

Upon first hearing about the 9/11 dancing Israelis in Jersey City, I exclaimed, ‘Surely those were Arab Israelis!’

That was my MSM programming kicking in.

But nope. All five were Jewish Israelis. One lived in my town. As did some of the Israeli ‘art students’ and peddlers of Dead Sea salts who used to work the shopping malls in the summer of 2001.

So yeah, Pat … I DO struggle to understand why an enemy would hate us with such zeal, when all we’ve ever done to them is shower them with mountains of free money.

By the way, search ‘dancing Israelis’ on Gurgle and the second result is an ADL rant … ‘Ten years after 9/11, anti-Semitic conspiracy theories surrounding the attacks are alive and well.’

Thanks, Joogle. How nice to get scolded as a bigot, when I was only searching for facts: a clear case of heaping insult upon injury.

She was less than zero threat

True. Any individual member of that mob was zero threat. But the mob as a whole presented a major threat, or at least would have been believed to by an reasonable person, which is the standard for the use of lethal force. And the law is quite clear that any individual member of a mob incurs that liability.

If a black version of Babbitt was at the head of a mob BLM thugs at your doorstep and you shot her ass, do you think you should be liable for that?

  52. Rurik says:

“ after 9/11, said Bush, “Many Americans struggled to understand why an enemy would hate us with such zeal.”

    I understand

How else are an enemy supposed to feel about a nation’s leadership who allows their enemies to slaughter their citizens with impunity, and then sucks up to the very ones who perpetrated the war crime?

Everyone of these congress-scum knows at the very least that Bibi knew the attacks were imminent,

and yet gloated when they were perpetrated, knowing his government would be protected above all other concerns, as the American people struggled to figure out what had happened.

    “it’s very good”

how else but visceral hatred are you supposed to feel about a people who allow their own citizens to be horrifically slaughtered in fireballs and crushed in controlled demolitions? The first controlled demolitions in history where the buildings being imploded were carefully made certain to contain as many people as possible.

    “it’s very good”

Imaging being the leader of a nation that is willing to take money and perks to send his own citizens to certain death, because by doing so, he’ll also trick thousands of his other fellow citizens to die fighting in wars to benefit the murderers who slaughtered the first three thousand citizens.

I suppose it’s like a father selling his children into slavery or worse.

How is the man who buys his children, going to feel about such a father, unless it’s visceral hatred?

If I was Bibi, I’d certainly have a contempt for these congressmen and presidents that borders on hatred, for sure.

Perhaps he would rant something about an inside job in cooperation with the Israeli Mossad. The truth is that Osama bin Laden didn’t commit this heinous crime. I don’t want to repeat all the facts, which repudiate his involvement. For every reasonable person, the official narrative is an insult.

George W. Bush’s equation of the 9/11 terror with the protest on 6 January is intolerable. When will be the Black killer of Ashlie Babbit be indicted with murder? After the US and its European flunkies suffered a crushing defeat in Afghanistan in their so-called war on terror, the Biden regime brought this fight against terrorism home and used it against the own population. They practically invited the protestors into the building and then sprang the trap on them. The elite were sending a very clear message. A black cop can kill an unarmed White girl with impunity. Don’t even think about revolution because we will shoot you and hunt the rest of you down and put you in prison.

I still wonder how differently it might have turned out if even half of the protestors had showed up with automatic rifles and blown away a few dozen congressmen. I do believe we are rapidly approaching that very real possibility here in America. It can’t come soon enough if you ask me.

Bibi was there to humiliate Obama, so it was kind of awkward for the Dems to grovel as openly as the Repulicunts.

But they nevertheless showed their fealty to their real leader by going to the speech.

My favorite was Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who was exalted from obscurity when Obama personally selected her as head of the DNC.

And then when a foreign head of state comes triumphantly marching in to repudiate the president of the ZUS, right there in his hearth and home, and humiliate him in front of his party, who goes to the Capital to show support for Bibi?

Yep, you guessed it, Wasserman Schultz.

The magic Negro is only superior to all lesser goyim, so long as a ‘chosen one’ isn’t demanding abased fealty from his slaves. Negros included.

There is a strict pecking order, and yes, the Negro is in competition with the homo for second place, but never doubt or question who is firmly at the top.

That’s why Bibi was there, to impress upon Obama and everyone else just who was in charge of the ZUS. Nadler (Schumer, et al) may not have considered that moment the most opportune to prostrate themselves publicly before Bibi, but their fealty and loyalty was and is never in question.

Proportionality: his response to her non-violent breaking of door’s window was to kill her. That is hardly proportional to her acts. That police officer fails all the case-law tests of justifiable homicide: Innocence: he had the gun, she didn’t.

Irrelevant. Disparity of force is what matters, not if he had a gun or not. The mob–of which she was a constituent part and whose liabilities she incurred by joining it–was capable of applying lethal force. Therefore, he was justified in applying lethal force himself, against her, regardless of the method used.

Imminence: neither she nor the mob around her showed any violence against others, just violence against a door.

It is not necessary to show imminence by committing violence against an actual person.

If, suddenly and for no reason, I produce my Ruger Speed Six from concealment and point it at you with my finger on the trigger while looking down the sights, I have not committed any actual violence, but no jury in the land would convict you for producing your own gun and neutralizing me before I could pull that trigger.

Proportionality: his response to her non-violent breaking of door’s window was to kill her. That is hardly proportional to her acts.

First, it does not need to be proportional to actual acts, just to acts that a reasonable person would believe imminent. Second, again, it does not need to be proportional to her acts, just that acts of the entire group of which she was a part.

Avoidance: Washington DC requires him to flee if reasonable, to avoid harm. It is not a pure stand your ground state.

OK, this is really stupid and shows you have no idea what you’re talking about. Do you really think that the law holds on-duty cops to the same standard? To do that would essentially require them to run from any suspect who offered resistance.

Even as a police officer, he saw no evidence of harm by her or the mob.

Uh, the broken window in the door she was coming through and that the other members of the mob would almost certainly have followed her through? Hell-OOOO?

Reasonableness: she didn’t even see him nor did she have a weapon.

Again, totally irrelevant. The fact that he had a gun and she didn’t does not show disparity of force.

He killed her to get the mob to back off. This is not reasonable.

Ever seen what a mob can do to people? It’s lethal force. And it’s totally reasonable to counter it with lethal force.

    He used emotion, not logic.

Fear is an emotion. And if one has a reasonable fear that lethal force is about to be used by a mob (which he did) then one has the right to preemptively employ lethal force in self defense.

His state of the mind in killing her, his mens rea, showed unreasonable use of murder to control a mob. He is guilty of second degree murder.

    No.
