That mob that split off from the Donald Trump rally of Jan. 6 to invade the Capitol has proven a godsend to the left.

The death of a Capitol cop has enabled the left — which spent the summer after George Floyd’s death trashing “racist cops” and shouting, “Defund the Police!” — to posture as fighting allies of the men in blue.

Liberals who implored us to understand the grievances of the rioters, looters and arsonists last summer have become sudden converts to the church of law and order.

Elites who had condoned the smashing of statues and monuments to Columbus, Washington, Jefferson and Jackson as a needed cleansing of our hateful history have declared themselves sickened that Trumpists would desecrate the temple of democracy.

Had it been antifa or BLM that carried out the invasion, not one statue would have been left standing in Statuary Hall, and we would have been instructed that it was slaves who had, after all, built the Capitol building.

The media is airing endless footage of the mob marauding inside the Capitol. Purpose: to plant indelibly in the public mind the fiction that this was the deliberate work of Donald Trump and his people, and our elites are the real adversaries of violent protest.

Indeed, to protect the nation from rightist uprisings in state capitals, this weekend saw the widespread deployment of the National Guard.

Sunday was to be the day the murderous violence of the right would manifest itself.

What happened? As The Washington Post reported Monday:

“Authorities in cities from coast to coast mobilized a military-style defense of state capitol complexes on Sunday, rolling out Humvees, concertina wire and thousands of National Guard troops clad in battlefield helmets to defend against a possible onslaught of rioters whipped up by the baseless claims of the American president.

“The assault never came. Despite warnings from the FBI and boasts from armed, far-right extremist groups, security forces in every instance outnumbered scattered groups of demonstrators, and there were no reports of violence.”

In anticipation of Wednesday’s inauguration, 25,000 National Guard have been deployed in and around D.C. to defend against right-wing mobs or would-be assassins. Three or four times as many troops are here in D.C. as there are U.S. troops in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria combined.

Now, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. And better too much security than not enough. But even given the Jan. 6 outrage, to arm our capital city as though Stonewall Jackson’s Confederates were going to march up Manassas Road and capture Abe Lincoln after the Union defeat at Bull Run seems a bit excessive.

Yet, Wednesday is a historic day. Trump will be gone from the White House and national power and responsibility will pass to the Democratic Party.

ORDER IT NOW

Democrats take over the House, Senate and White House. Virtually all major media will be in their camp. They will be welcomed in a city that has never elected a Republican mayor and has no Republicans on the city council, a city that voted for Joe Biden 18-1 over Trump. The 30,000 registered Republicans in D.C. are outnumbered 12-1 by Democrats.

The government bureaucracies here are as deeply Democratic as the “deep state” that bedeviled Trump for four years. Biden’s Cabinet is the most racially and ethnically diverse ever; the majority of its members are women and people of color. Obama administration holdovers dominate the national security team.

Most of America’s major cities — New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, D.C., Baltimore, Detroit, St. Louis — are run by liberal Democrats, and, coincidentally, all experienced surges in shootings and killings in 2020.

While the figures on the criminal perpetrators are rarely reported, it appears that not a great many of the violent and lethal crimes were the work of rogue cops or white supremacists in MAGA hats.

Other problems Trump failed to solve — the pandemic now killing 3,000 to 4,000 Americans a day, the failure to get vaccines into the arms of millions of more Americans — are now Joe’s problems.

Calling Trump names will no longer cut it.

Now, Democrats must decide whether to proceed with the impeachment trial of Trump for inciting a riot that began on the Capitol steps as he was speaking a mile away, a riot planned long before the rally on the Mall.

Now, Democrats can choose whether they will forego extracting their pound of flesh as the first order of business in the Senate and let Nancy Pelosi sit a while on her impeachment resolution.

Now, Democrats have it all. If they wish, they can abolish the filibuster, pack the Supreme Court, make D.C. and Puerto Rico states, forgive all student debt, and vote for slavery reparations.

One reads that a caravan of thousands is forming up in Honduras to pass through Guatemala in the hope of reaching and crossing the U.S. border when Biden becomes president.

That, too, is Joe’s party’s problem now.

  5. Left owns it all?

    Really?

    Will communists rob the oligarchs?

Will BDS have its day in the sun?

It’s not the Left. It’s Jewish Supremacism and its bulldogs.

Current Politics is not about equality.

Take the NY controversy about special high schools. The outrage is not about demand for educational equality. If blacks were the best students and dominated the enrollment, no one would complain because blacks are holy. The problem is NOT enough blacks.
So, the real issue is about the idolatry of blacks, not equality for all.
After all, no one seems to complain about black over-representation, even monopolization, of professional sports

Same thing with Jews. If the Left really had control, it would rag about Jews being too rich, too powerful, too influential. But Jews can never have enough money or power. They deserve more and more. It’s only a problem when whites have ‘too much’ power or money.

Stop calling the current oligarchic class the ‘left’. That is old thinking. Or it’s just cowardice, the fear of naming the Jew.

However, the main problem is that they control the Narrative.

BLM caused much more damage and it did not even blemish the Democrats and their supporters.

If the optics was that the Capitol had been invaded by black people and leftists protesting against a Republican congress or something, it would be portrayed in a different way. One thing is what happens, another how it’s shown. We are increasingly unable to even see the difference.

D.C. statehood will be rightly challenged in federal court since the Constitution specifically states that it is to be managed by Congress and the seat of the national government is not supposed to be located inside a state for various reasons given in The Federalist Papers and other writings of the founders.

  13. Hibernian says:

D.C. statehood will be rightly challenged in federal court…

    Three possible answers to this:

[A] A nominal “monument District” is carved out as a successor to DC, which will incidentally get the three electoral votes of DC. Some residential territory could be included, maybe the Watergate complex.

[B] SCOTUS refuses to take the case on the grounds that it is a “non-justiciable political question.”

[C] A liberal/moderate coalition on SCOTUS, or liberals alone after court packing, buy(s) contorted Leftist arguments for the Constitutionality of DC statehood.

I think [A] is the most likely.

When you have 150,000,000 adults so ill informed about how the Fed Gov works to take the time and trouble to vote in a presidential election, that does indicate a level of ignorance and gullibility that is just asking for a slap down. It’s a shame because individually, the average USian, like the average individual anywhere in the world, is a reasonable person just trying to get through life with a minimum amount of trouble.

In one sense, I agree with you that they need a 2×4 upside the head to get their attention, but in another, they are victims of a system they really don’t understand. The bulk of the population is captive to a system that will forever sell them out regardless of which gang is in control. They just don’t get it.

Given that a vast amount of food has been destroyed via the Covid lock down nonsense where crops weren’t harvested for lack of labor, and live stock was destroyed for lack of feed and a market, prices for food staples can go nowhere but up. This is at a time when yields were already suffering due to weather conditions. Countries are currently restricting food exports but most people are unaware of this trend.

Also consider that the fracking miracle was never profitable and is winding down to once again, in future, put the US in the position to import energy. Prices for fuel are going nowhere but up and all this at a time when people’s savings are diminished or exhausted and many in deep debt with an economy with far fewer jobs available due to gov’t policy that guaranteed job and business destruction.

The cherry on top is rampant currency creation that will sooner or later wreck the Dollar’s value, probably leading to hyperinflation once currency velocity picks up.

This is THE perfect storm and the US population has just felt the initial breeze so far.

If the Constitution still means anything, it should be very difficult to make a Constitutionally designated “District” into a state. Many legal experts argue that it cannot be done without a Constitutional Amendment, which requires ratification by 3/4th of state legislatures (38 states), an insurmountable hurdle.

But will that stop the radical democrats from trying? Hardly. What if Schumer’s party succeeds in eliminating the Filibuster, and the democrats then pack the Supreme Court with 6 more of their like-minded cronies? The Constitution says nothing regarding the required number of SC justices. That number can be changed by a majority act of Congress, and signed by the president. If the democrats get away with that subterfuge, the Electoral College will be next.

This much collective dishonesty is just far too much to ever be considered recoverable.

The Democrats don’t give a shit about political consequences anymore. They have everything they need to be as corrupt and shady as they want and there will never be repercussions for them again. There will be a small segment of the population that will see how much worse things get under the Dems, but it won’t ever be close to enough to remove them from power. Not only has the demographic destiny of America been decided, the corrupt state is going to entrench itself further. Things are going to get slowly worse and then much worse all at once.

And I have no idea if people will rise to the occasion and revolt. I don’t expect them to. Americans are so fat and dumb that a highly survivable disease has turned into a catastrophe.

It’s mind-boggling to realize that Biden (if he serves his entire 4-year term or even hangs on for 2-3 years) will be the most transformative and consequential president since Abraham Lincoln, who slaughtered over 700,00o white men to free the slaves so their descendants, beginning in the 1960’s, could be permitted to commit untold millions of crimes against whites and blight or destroy every large city in the East and West and North and virtually all cities of all sizes in the Deep South.

This ludicrous “gaffe-machine” and senile and demented buffoon who often doesn’t know what city or state he’s in or what years or decade he was vice-president and confuses his wife and sister and claims he’s running for the Senate and so forth, this serial plagiarist, liar, hair-sniffer, groper, and grifter, a consummate “swamp creature” and corrupt and greedy shyster and criminal who engaged in bribery and “quid-pro-quo” schemes in the Ukraine, China, and other nations to enrich himself and his family, especially his crack-addict son Hunter, will achieve what Obama failed to achieve, the destruction of what’s left of the “historic American nation,” totally and forever, the transformation of the US into a country in which no Republican will ever be elected President again and Democrats will control the Senate and House with ever-increasing and increasingly nonwhite-majorities, a totalitarian anti-white dystopia in which the left controls everything, ultimately and irreversibly, and all criticism and opposition to the regime and it’s ideology of “equality” and anti-“racism” is censored and criminalized.

    2) Evidence of pre-planning, different people went to the speech and capital,
    3) a 40 minute walk from the Trump speech to the Capital, people at the speech couldn’t get there in time to participate in the initial breach.
    4) the speech had no direct call to that action, one has to hear dog whistles

Yes, deranged Trump-hating “cuck” Kasich endorsed and voted for Biden because “he puts love of country above himself” and “would happily die for love of the USA” -just like Max Boot, David Frum, little Billy Kristol, Jennifer Rubin, Mitt Romney, the execrable Rich Wilson and Steve Schmidt of the “Lincoln Project,” ad nauseam, all the neocons and “cucks” who hate Trump because they love America as an “idea” and “creedal-proposition nation.”

How would you know that Kasich “has never lied to the public,” unlike all other politicians? Are you all-knowing, can you read minds? I suspect that he’s lying about Biden assuring him that he “would not allow Country to go FAR LEFT” to justify his endorsement of Biden. And even if he’s telling the truth about Biden’s assurances, it’s likely that Biden, given his senility, has forgotten that he made such promises to Kasich and possibly that he even had this meeting and conversation.

Finally, does any minimally sane and honest person believe that Biden’s putative assurances to Kasich, even if true and even if he recalls such promises, will have far more power and influence over his decisions than that of his radical left-wing advisers and puppeteers, including Kamala Harris as vice-president, democrats in the House and Senate, and the left wing media, the Washington Post, NYT, CNN, MSNBC, Twitter, Facebook, etc.?

The Constitutional scholars are correct that D.C. statehood would require a Constitutional amendment. Even Tom Cotton and Rand Paul said as much last year when the subject came up. The Democrats have no chance of receiving 2/3 support in both houses and 3/4 of the states when everyone knows it’s just to lock in a permanent Senate majority or at worst, a tie.

Nothing stopping the Democrats on court packing if they succeed in eliminating the filibuster. Manchin and supposedly 2-3 other Senators and even Biden himself oppose eliminating it, but we’ll see if they don’t change their tune if radical legislation gets stalled in the Senate.

As for the electoral college abolition that, too, would require a Constitutional amendment. The way some states are getting around that is by voting to award their electors based on the winner of the national popular vote. Constitutional scholars even on the right side of the aisle say that is “Constitutional” but I personally think that disenfranchises the citizens of that state.

If you want free speech, US citizens can still base web sites in democratic Russia. There are many other democratic countries but would they stand up to US sanctions? They’re still worth a try; there aren’t many countries as repressive as the USA. You could always try Turkey, Venezuela or Iran when the Europeans go to water.

Of course, that doesn’t escape US censorship on mobile phones via app restrictions. You might need a PC.

Most dictatorships wouldn’t care if you had free speech about the USA unless they were a US ally. Just don’t comment about their country and you probably never do anyway. How about Cuba? More freedom for you makes it worthwhile.

I expect China would try to avoid annoying US politicians taking what may seem to the Chinese as sensible steps to control dangerously free speech. If you’re adventurous, try there but they may be as bad as the Yanks. [email protected]

    Great comment.

the main problem is that they control the Narrative.

Yep. And not just the narrative.

Not Right or Left myself and, though I never had anything against Trump supporters (though their gullibility was exasperating and their desperation almost touching, but mostly just sad), I never had much use for Trump. Even the things he was praised for by his supporters looked too much like things that would eventually bite them on the ass. And, of course, that’s pretty much how it turned out.

But what I really want to comment on is this.

I’ve been involved in Family Systems for over 30 years and, as also a long time student of cultural history, it’s impossible not to notice the similarities between Family System Roles and contemporary societal roles. So much so, that members of the Target Population would do well to familiarize themselves with the subject of Family Systems.

For now, here’s a short list, with Family Systems on the lefthand side and today’s society on the right.

Narcissistic Shaming Parent (that can do no wrong) – The Tyranical Hostile Elite
Golden Child (the Shaming Parent’s mini-me) – Identity Politics
Flying Monkies – MSM, Education from K-12 to Phd., etc.
Designated Scapegoat (that can do no right) – The Targeted Host Population

It’s worth pointing out that, though psychologists often disagree they all agree that the worst thing that can happen to a child or any member of society is to be made a scapegoat. So, the worst thing a parent, family, or society can do is make one.

They also suggest strongly that the best solution for the scapegoat is to go No Contact. Of course, this is exactly what the targeted host population should do. But, to do that, you have to become aware that there is a problem. And even then, No Contact is by no means easy to attempt, let alone achieve.

The good news is, there’s always more one can do than they think.

Pat’s pretending like the situation was salvageable and that the protests fucked it completely. Our dearest old man doesn’t understand that the country was lost when the Democrats opted to cheat, when the media refused to cover the fraud, when judges refused to hear the cases and when state officials refused to investigate. This much collective dishonesty is just far too much to ever be considered recoverable.

That about sums it up, I would just add that the steal furthermore can be repeated ad infinitum. Nothing there to stop it anymore. Well, at least we can say we were there when they blew the republic up.

I wish I could share your sanguinity over the impending and inevitable misery about to be visited upon the people of North America (Canada will not be immune to the societal ravages of wokeness and its dire effects).

Sure, a lot of them deserve what’s coming, but tragically, it’s the very people who do deserve to taste the bitter fruits of their pernicious connivances, who will no-doubt benefit materially from the exigencies about to fall into place in the ZUSA and beyond.

    They
won’t be the ones unable to pay bills or put food on the table. They’ll be taking their private jets to Climate Change galas and schmoozing with fellow ‘one percenters’ and their minions.

While the middle and working class, (who’re collectively only guilty of the very same gullibility that the Canadians and French and Germans- and so many others suffer from), will bear the brunt of the misery about to unfold.

And sadly and tragically, that ‘perfect storm’, that you and I and billions of people the world over, are all longing for, so that the ZUSA might finally, and at long last, stop bombing and menacing every single nation or person who might just possibly look at the ‘shitty little state’ crosswise, is not going to come about.

Because as much as AOC might demand untold trillions of dollars to remake the world in the image of wokeness…

.. the ((PTB)) (((Fed and ECB))), will with certainty make damn sure that nothing is done to even hint at jeopardizing their Total Power over the Western world.

I know you know that, deep down. We all do. We all know that Biden and wokeness isn’t going to save the planet, by destroying the Federal Reserve Note. Because at the end of the day, Biden and wokeness take their marching orders from the Fed. Duh.

It was none other than the Fed (J-supremacism) that put them in power in the first place. Do you think J.S. is going to allow them to emasculate their fount of power? In a million years never.

The only ones that can do that are Russia and China and the rest of the BRICS nations plus others, all working in concert to destroy the dollar. That is the planet’s only hope.

Biden and Kamala and wokeness are simply stooges of the Fed, (duh) and the only real change that’s going to happen in the ZUS is an open war on ‘white supremacy’ (traditional white folks who have genders and are productive and law abiding). They are the ones who’re going to suffer. They and their racist, homophobic children. And their only crime is what they were all born as ~ dormant Nazis and intractable anti-Semites who stubbornly refuse to lick the feet of their betters, and provide endless 12 year olds for the amusement of the people who they exist to serve. ~ It is written.

Well, now they’re going to be made to lick those feet, and most of the world’s people will take pleasure in watching it, because most of the world’s people envy and hate white America, not for the wars and bombs and suffering their government does, but for the same reason throngs and armies of POC descended upon a defeated Germany twice in the last century, and helped themselves to the pickings.

Now it’s going to be middle and working class white America, (and Western Europe and the ‘West’ in general) who’re the defeated ‘white supremacists’ who actually and arrogantly considered their children as deserving a hopeful and prosperous future, rather than what ((wokeness)) has in mind for them.

So for me, I won’t be taking any pleasure in watching as Sally from Nebraska and Greg from Wyoming, take the brunt of billions of people’s envy and rage, at a white America that created unprecedented prosperity, but made others feel bad about themselves by comparison.

Perhaps that’s the worst crime imaginable, is making people feel bad about themselves by comparison. Indeed, I suspect that is the very fount of genocidal rage the tribe feels for Germans (in particular) and white Americans in fly over country, and why they want them all blended into oblivion. Yes? No?

In any case, that’s what they’re all going to get.

And any hopes that as the blending gets kicked into high gear, that it will mark the end of the Fed, and Zionism, and America’s viciousness on the world’s stage, then all I can say is – think again.

  60. “Now, the Left Owns It All”…

However, the Democrats should be careful about what they have wished for. Owning all that Washington rubbish now in 2021, may be exactly what they did not want! So, to name some:

The plain verifiable fact is that Joe Biden is nothing. He is as mentally and physically deserted as a WalMart parking lot on a Sunday morning. Just some Happy Meal garbage drifting along in the wind, but that’s about all that there is to him…

As a numbskull President and all too transparent puppet of his Democratic handlers, he must now make the following 3 crucial errors:

    1. He must absolutely go after the gun owners!
After the riots and arson in Seattle and Portland and over 200 other American cities in 2020, people all over America are buying guns and ammo’ hand over fist, so going after all those evil AR-15’s is just the right ticket for an all out civil war. Now, just leaving those gun owners alone would calm down things quite a bit for 2022, but to hell with that! The Democrats must have a clearly defined public enemy, and the NRA is just the right target for that. Until it all blows up…

    2. He must go all Green Deal, in other words promiscuously pander to AOC and her Lunatic Left, hoping to corral enough of her airhead activists and students to vote for him (or her..) in 2022.

    3. He must go “totally off the hinges – MMT” (Marxist Monetary Theory), in other words to print as many new dollars as the economy needs to prop up the stock markets and to avoid an enonomic melt-down before the 2022 mid-term elections. But the Chinese may have other plans for just that, as they have for years been hoarding gold by the hundreds of tons…

So whatever happens, Congratulations to the New Left of the former United States of America, you now officially own the worlds biggest Banana Republic…

Yes, “It doesn’t look good.” The Fed’s reserve balance sheet increased to $7.3 trillion since Sep 2019. Foreign buyers of Treasury securities keep dwindling, the Fed isn’t holding them long term, most domestic purchases have decreased. But, the Fed says there is a group of “other” domestic buyers, who don’t fit into their list of traditional domestic buyers, who’ve appeared out of nowhere, to buy all of this newly issued debt. I don’t think the world will rejoice, if this debt is rejected. The whole world would likely face spiraling deflation.

The Grand Solar Minimum should only heat the world’s surface by -0.1 W/m2 per year. That is less than three years of heating due to carbon emissions.

I agree that it disenfranchises the citizens of that state.

I argue that the charge the explicit text “Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct”, requires the current legislature to appoint the electors, thus no legislature can bind a future legislature. My interpretation requires that the legislature must be in session and affirmatively certify the slate of electors. There has been little reason, until this year, to challenge the electors being on autopilot, but the suits will fly if they try the compact.

  65. “God is not mocked. We’ve chosen barbarism. Our greatest danger is that He’ll let us have it.”
    – Peter Leithart

Choosing barbarism started in the Sixties when cowardly college administrators yielded to delinquent children who occupied their offices. It continued with the acceptance of medical murder by the killing of unborn children in the womb in the name of convenience. It continues with the rejection of epistemic certitude in favor of subjective, postmodern bullshit. It continues with the attempt to normalize sexual perversion and gender confusion. It continues with wicked economic policies like Modern Monetary Theory which debases currency, robs the honest via fiat money and fractional reserve banking, and rewards liars and thieves with cheap credit and helicopter money. How barbaric was the War on Poverty? It would be more correctly called the War on Poor People. It enslaved generations with handouts and programs which incentivized fathers to abandon the children they sired for government dollars.

It matters not that they caused more damage. Those riots were in reaction to the satanic evil of whitmofer racism. Any action taken in response to such evil may be construed as an act of “righteousness.” Of course, that may be stretching it somewhat, but it cannot be argued that those riots were a reaction to your kind of evil.

“Democrats have it all” is not the same thing as “Now, the Left Owns It All”. Joe Biden, sir, is no Che Guevara.

Agreed. The Left does not own it all because there is no longer a Left. The Left has been marginalised to the point of irrelevance.

To describe a party that represents the interests of the bankers and billionaires as leftist is absurd. It’s not merely absurd, it’s deliberately misleading.

Like so many ageing conservatives Pat is still living in the mental universe of his youth. There is no longer a Left and a Right as these things were understood in Pat’s day.

What we have today is a kind of globalised fascism, with Big Business and Big Government working together to screw everyone else. It’s globofascism. And it’s supported by both parties. In fact it’s supported by all the major political parties in the West.

  72. Apparently Pat Buchanan is unaware of the fringe right and Qanon tweets planning what happened on January 6th. The insurrectionists that left Trump’s speech early were the advance men setting up the scaffold and smashing the doors and windows of the Capitol to let the rest of the Trumpsters gain easy entrance.

I am really disappointed that Buchanan hasn’t done more research on what happened that day and what went into the planning beforehand.

“That mob that split off from the Donald Trump rally of Jan. 6 to invade the Capitol has proven a godsend to the left.”

Who was that “mob”? Why did they “split off” from the ‘Stop the Steal’ rally? Was it because Trump told them:

“We’ve got to get rid of the weak congresspeople, the ones that aren’t any good, the Liz Cheneys of the world, we got to get rid of them…Because you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength and you have to be strong”

Pat has no explanation/regret for insurrection, only amoral calculation and a desperate attempt to salvage Trumpian honor. Lipstick on a pig.

“The death of a Capitol cop has enabled the left — which spent the summer after George Floyd’s death trashing “racist cops” and shouting, “Defund the Police!” — to posture as fighting allies of the men in blue.”

How many police did BLM kill in protests/riots Pat? Did they attempt to overturn the Constitution? Disenfranchise 81 million Biden voters?

“Liberals who implored us to understand the grievances of the rioters, looters and arsonists last summer have become sudden converts to the church of law and order.”

Please quote “liberal” praise of the summer protests/riots. Please explain Trump’s 6 Jan 2021 “We love you, you’re very special” send-off to insurrectionists after his limp-wristed ‘go-home’ hours into the Capital breach 6 Jan 2021. What was there to love, what was special Pat?

Who were the “very fine people” Trump cited chanting “Jews will not replace us”, “Blut und Boden” [Blood and Soil] at the ‘Unite the right’ rally in Charlottesville 11-12 Aug 2017? Give us some names. Explain creepy Richard Spencer, filmed saluting ‘hail Trump’, hail our people, hail victory”:

Is that the GOP? This has all been evident for years. Where are you cautions Pat?

“Had it been antifa or BLM that carried out the invasion, not one statue would have been left standing in Statuary Hall, and we would have been instructed that it was slaves who had, after all, built the Capitol building.”

LOL. Trump rioters weren’t after statues. They (with zip-ties and body armor) were after Pence (“hang Mike Pence”), Pelosi and other “traitors” dear leader and acolytes like ‘trial by combat’ Rudy, ‘kick-ass’ Mo Brooks, ‘we’re coming for you’ Donnie Junior. Of course Trump was brave enough to view it on TV (failing despite promises to show up on the barricades).

Trump insurrectionists (after losing legal challenge after legal challenge – most before Republican judges) wanted to overturn an election in a Putsch trashing the Constitution. Simple as that.

Who is Pat Buchanan? An ideologue in visible decay (unlike Wilde’s Dorian Gray)?

  75. @Dumbo

That there would be the need of fraud to oust him?

This is the kind of thinking that leads to disaster. Trump was historically unpopular. He motivated women and blacks to get organized and vote in unprecedented numbers. No one on the right seemed prepared for that, everyone prefers to cling to the myth of “fraud” and “COVID”. Fact is, Trump failed. He was destined to fail because he is a reality TV star playing at being a businessman, and he is incredibly lazy and self-absorbed, and surrounds himself with parasites and losers. The longer people whine about fraud instead of finding a positive pro-America message, and attacking the left where they are weak (immigration and overreach on gender nonsense) the stronger the left will get and the more time they will have to entrench themselves.
