Now that statues of Presidents Washington, Jefferson, Jackson, Lincoln, Grant and Theodore Roosevelt have been desecrated, vandalized, toppled and smashed, it appears Woodrow Wilson’s time has come.

The cultural revolution has come to the Ivy League.

Though Wilson attended Princeton as an undergraduate, taught there and served from 1902 to 1910 as president, his name is to be removed from Princeton’s School of Public and International Affairs.

And why is this icon of American liberals to be so dishonored?

Because Thomas Woodrow Wilson disbelieved in racial equality.

Says Princeton President Christopher Eisgruber: “Wilson’s racist opinions and policies make him an inappropriate namesake.” Moreover, Wilson’s “racism was significant and consequential even by the standards of his own time.”

And what exactly were Wilson’s sins?

“Wilson was… a racist,” writes Eisgruber, who “discouraged black applicants from applying to Princeton. While president of the United States he segregated the previously integrated civil service.”

Another of Wilson’s crimes was overlooked by Eisgruber.

In February 1915, following a White House screening of “Birth of a Nation,” which depicted the Ku Klux Klan as heroic defenders of white womanhood in the South after the Civil War, a stunned Wilson said:
“It’s like writing history with lightning. My only regret is that it is all so terribly true.”

Princeton’s board of trustees has endorsed Eisgruber’s capitulation, declaring that Woodrow Wilson’s “racist thinking and policies make him an inappropriate namesake for a school or college whose scholars, students, and alumni must stand firmly against racism in all its forms.”

Yet, as Wilson left the U.S. presidency a century ago and has been dead for 96 years, one wonders: Was Princeton unaware that Wilson had resegregated the civil service? When did Princeton discover this?

Wilson’s support of segregation was a matter of record in his own time and is a subject about which every biographer and historian of that period has been aware. When did Princeton discover that this Southern-born president, the most famous son in the school’s history, like so many of his presidential predecessors, did not believe in integration?

Four years ago, Eisgruber rebuffed student demands to wipe Wilson’s name off the public policy institute, because, as he wrote last week, Wilson “transformed” Princeton “from a sleepy college to a world-class university.”

Talk of ingratitude! Woodrow Wilson is being dishonored today by the house that Woodrow Wilson built.

Wilson was also a history-making liberal Democrat, a two-term president who took us into the Great War, advanced his “14 Points” as a basis for peace, became an architect of the Versailles Treaty, championed a League of Nations and won the Nobel Prize for Peace.

True, it did not all work out well.

ORDER IT NOW

Sold as “the war to end war” and “to make the world safe for democracy” Wilson took us in in April 1917 as an associate power of four empires. And rather than make the world safe for democracy, the war made the world that emerged accessible to Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini and Hitler.

Yet, if Wilson’s disbelief in equality is sufficient to get the most famous son Princeton produced from having his name on a public institute, this is likely just the beginning.

The Wilson Center, chartered by Congress in 1968, a nonpartisan policy forum led today by ex-Congresswoman Jane Harman, is the official memorial to President Wilson in Washington, D.C.

It, too, is likely to be headed for the chopping block.

One of the largest and most integrated public high schools in D.C. is Woodrow Wilson High, which has stood since before World War II in the northwest corner of the city. Is that name to be changed as well?

What of the D.C. Beltway’s Wilson Bridge, south of the city, which has brought traffic into, out of and around the capital for decades?

Will we need a name change there as well?

Theodore Roosevelt is under fire for his negative views of Native Americans. Yet, he, too, has a bridge over the Potomac named after him — and a D.C. high school as well.

The Key Bridge connects Georgetown to Virginia’s Lee Highway, which was named for General Robert E. Lee in 1919. The bridge is named after Francis Scott Key, author of “The Star-Spangled Banner” and whose statue was lately toppled in Golden Gate Park.

If support for segregation is a disqualification for honor in the new America, is it likely that the oldest of three Senate office buildings on Capitol Hill can remain named for Sen. Richard B. Russell of Georgia?

A confidant and ally of President Lyndon Johnson, Russell was a co-signer of the Southern Manifesto of 1956, which called for “massive resistance” to integrating public schools. Russell also voted against every major civil rights bill in his 40 years in the Senate.

If D.C. ever becomes a state surrounding the Capitol, Mall, White House and major monuments, look for the sweeping destruction of statues and monuments and a changing of the names of streets, parks and circles.

Where does the madness end?

Patrick J. Buchanan is the author of “Nixon’s White House Wars: The Battles That Made and Broke a President and Divided America Forever.”

  1. Earl Warren, California’s favorite son, was perhaps the leading voice for rounding up Japanese-Americans and sending them to concentration camps.

When will the State of California strike his name from every road and school (even a UC college!) in the state?

No tears from me for Woodrow Wilson. He took America into WWI (quite possibly under coercion from the Jews who got hold of his letters to his mistress and threatened to expose him), which killed over 300k Americans, and his disastrous Versailles Treaty basically handed Germany to the Jews whose Weimar Republic gave rise to Hitler, and the subsequent WWII killed over 1 million Americans. He had it coming.

How long before they deface Mt. Rushmore? Trump had better brought in the National Guards to give it full protection.

Understatement of the year. The man was scum. The only reason his name is on that boulevard is because Parisians hate us. We should insist they take it down, along with the one for that creep in the wheelchair.

Never mind he lied America’s way into a world war they had no business being in, killing many Germans in the process, he offended some blacks with what he said. These looters and arsonists are very dumb people. They are not capable of organizing and mobilizing a movement of such strength. Will there be a book coming out on who organized and funded this group? Is the Black / Jewish relationship of the past alive and well? I do not believe blacks could do this on their own. Certainly the Jewish owned media is almost completely behind BLM but who funded and organized the movement? Was is Soros? I’m just wondering. I have not read anything about this. Will we find out 75 years from now just as the ethnic identity of most of the Bolsheviks is still unmentionable even though any historian worth anything and most Europeans from those days knew who they were? Were whites also behind the founding and funding of BLM? Who are they?

FYI, per Wikipedia, the total US deaths in WW2 was 405,399, far from the over 1 million you state.

That figure is composed of 291,557 combat deaths, and 113,399 listed as other.

Also, you’re far off on WWI, which had 116,516 total deaths. (53,402 killed in combat and 63,114 other).

Note: The “other” figure is composed of all non-combat deaths, which includes accidents, disease, suicide, and murder.

Woodrow was the worst president in American history (with Clinton and Truman #2 and #3).

Wilson gave us: the Federal Reserve; the FBI; the Espionage Act; recrudescent racism; and World Wars I and II.

Churchill was right. Had America not stuck its nose into WWI, there would have been a negotiated

Wilson’s racism is a minor issue. He imprisoned hundreds of political opponents and misled Americans into disastrous World War I that caused disastrous World War II. These killed over a half million Americans, left millions severely wounded, cost taxpayers a trillion dollars, and destroyed much of Europe. I don’t like statue toppling, but protesters should ransack the government funded Wilson Center, which is a neocon propaganda machine.

  16. Wilson bears much of the responsibility for two of the worst demographic changes to be inflicted on our nation. The Great Migration was the result of the shortage of manpower created in the North and Midwest by the drafting of able-bodied white men into the Great War. This ultimately laid waste to many of our great cities. The second event was the granting of US citizenship to the residents of Puerto Rico. The damage here was more localized, but still resulted in a good swath of our largest city becoming a hell hole.

Who are the big Jews doing this and where do they live?

The Jews would be next to nothing without the venal treachery of men like Woodrow Wilson.

Just look at the whores in congress and our corporate CEOs today. I drove by a Chick-fil-A today hoping against hope that it was empty, and to my delight, it seemed to be.

Jews will always do what they perceive as ‘good for the Jews’, (unlike ‘whitey’ who only does what’s good for themselves – even when that means tossing your people under the bus). So it isn’t the Jews fault that whitey is so eager and accommodating to their sinister schemes. Woodrow Wilson being the patron saint of whitey betraying whitey, for personal gain.

But we now also have the CEO of Chick-fil-A, signaling that he too will toss all white Christians under the racial-spoils bus, just so he can virtue-signal his abased servitude to the Jews (who fund organizations like BLM, in order to destroy white society).

The average Joe doesn’t have the power of a CEO of a large corporation, like NASCAR, for instance, but the average Joe does have the power of his convictions (unlike the CEOs), and what he can do is boycott overtly anti-white corporations like Chick-fil-A and NASCAR and others, that used to be wholesome places to patronize, but are now ‘woke’, and seek the humiliation and destruction of white communities and white society, and indeed, white (Western) civilization itself, all so they can virtue signal and pander to the forces of white destruction ((BLM)), and assorted anti-white hate organizations, (ADL, SPLC, FBI, and so on).

We must simply use the power we have, and repudiate those who seek our denigration and decimation. All we have to do, is not play along with their schemes, and boycott those corporations that are shitting in our faces.

    But will we?

Will white folks cease to patronize anti-white corporations like Chick-fil-A and NASCAR?

Or, like Woodrow Wilson, will they obediently serve the very people who hate their guts and want them marginalized and replaced?

  18. Rurik says:
    @Realist

Wilson’s greatest crime…by far was being a warmonger.

lots of men are war mongers. Teddy Roosevelt was a scumbag war monger of the highest order.

But what Wilson did by handing the world’s greediest and most sinister men they keys to the US Treasury, by treasonously authorizing the (((Federal Reserve Bank))), is the act that has directly led to subsequent wars of the 20th, and now the 21st centuries.

The Fed was instituted on Dec. 23, 1913. America entered WWI in April, 1917, and has been involved with wars for global Jewish supremacism ever since.

And all of that is a direct consequence of Wilson’s seminal act of a Biblical level of betrayal.

He is our Judas, alright- and every life lost in WWI, and WWII, and all the horrors unleashed upon Europe and Palestine by J-supermacism, are all a direct consequence of Wilson’s singular act of unspeakable treachery.

And all of it set in motion by the ((Fed)), who can create a trillion dollars- or ten- out of thin air, in order to corrupt the governments and institutions of our world, and turn them into agents of our annihilation.

So yea, tearing down his, (and FDR’s and Churchill’s and Lincoln’s statues and monuments) are something I find amusing.

Also, I’ve heard that they’ve started targeting Jesus. This too I find amusing, because there are no people on the planet more servile and groveling before the great ‘wokeness’, and BLM, than the Christians, who take millions in government shekel$ to implement the immigration of millions of non-Christians into the West, and America in particular. Few things could be more satisfying than seeing the ‘refugees’ these deluded and suicidally virtue-signaling ‘Christians’ have brought here, being rewarded for their ‘goodness’, by seeing the ‘refugees’ defiling the crucifixes and Churches and other symbols’ of ‘whiteness’ – that all must burn if we’re ever to have ‘social justice’.

Nothing could be more satisfying, than seeing the Somalis in Minnesota, dragging out the crucifixes from the churches (who brought them here), and burning them in the streets.

And as the ‘Christians’ are crying and blubbering ‘but it was us who brought you here!’, the rioters can simply say ‘no shit, Sherlock, now get on your knees and pray to your new God!’

The movie is based on Thomas Dixon’s Klansman trilogy. In fact the White House screening was done as a favor to Dixon. The books are more honest about the behavior of the Ku Klux Klan.

They whipped scalawag politicians night after night and drove them from the county. They called on carpetbagger postmasters who immediately left for parts unknown. They whipped Negroes, young and old, for all sorts of wrongdoing, real or fancied, and finally began to regulate the general morals of the community. They whipped a rowdy for abusing his wife and on the same night tarred and feathered a white girl of low origin who lived in the outskirts of town and ran her from the county.

The KKK didn’t protect white womanhood. The powerful squadrons of mounted klansmen beat up white girls who lived with black men.

The Klan came into existence as a response to the sadistic cruelty of the Reconstruction, which was intended to humiliate the Southern man, and encouraged the Negro to take revenge on him and his family.

The Carpet Baggers and other scumbags were heaping miseries upon the defeated South, and the Klan were simply Southern men who were willing to fight back against these vermin.

Today the Klan is a joke, and believes in all kinds of silly religious, pseudo-Christian silliness, but back in the day, they were an honorable rite, and indeed noble in their defense of their communities against Northern opportunists and Negro criminality.

The people passing themselves off as Christians, are, and are not Christians. Their notion of a Christian is what is skewed.
    Matthew 10:
34 “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
    35 For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’;
36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. ”

They are certainly doing that, however, they are unworthy:
37 “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.”

Clearly they love BLM more than Christ, and do not regard the former slave masters as worthy of all honour
    Timothy 6:
1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.

Openly homo troop leaders as role models in the overtly Christian Boy Scouts?

Now the Boy Scout have a mandatory diversity badge, to teach all their white Christian boys to be self-loathing, and to bow to every POC who crosses their path?!

I’m at the point where I think we should (figuratively) burn it all down. It’s as rotten and corrupt as a religion can get. Exulting sodomy as a sacrament. Fanatically doing all they can to import millions upon millions of Muslims and Asians and everything and anything they can get their hands on, except white Christians from Europe, who’re considered all racist and the enemy of our modern, new ‘woke’ Christianity.

I’d send every last rotten one of these woke’ priests and ministers and pastors to Zimbabwe and South Africa, to immerse themselves in the diversity and wokeness’ they all seem to love as their new idol of worship.

I wonder if the Christians of Minnesota watching the Somalis and BLM orcs dragging out the crucifies from their churches, and burning them in the streets, would join in, and shout ‘burn the white man’s God!! He’s white, and so He’s part of the problem!!!

Even if there had been no Second World War, it’s quite a stretch to think that there would have been no US Empire. The country was founded on Manifest Destiny, which then morphed into American Exceptionalism. The US has always thought it was better than anyone else.

Global capitalism would have never left the USSR alone. The Bolsheviks, who took control of Russia in Oct. 1917, dropped out of the war at roughly the same time that the US entered it. Lenin returned to Russia in April 1917 after a decade in exile to take the reins of the Russian Revolution, so it was a fait accompli whether the US entered the war or not.

Who knows, one possible scenario is that, if the US had not entered WWI, and there had been no Hitler, the US and Churchill’s England (both warlike countries) may have joined forces to take out the Communists. After the US had won that war and Stalin was defeated, it would have been the preeminent global empire in any case.

England made a huge effort during the First War to influence public opinion in its favor. It started out with cutting the German transatlantic cables just days into the war in order to disrupt communications between Germany and the US. After that speeches, newspaper articles books by people of influence from Britain were used all over the United States to turn public opinion in England’s favor. I can’t imagine that Churchill looked with disfavor at these efforts to secure the US as a future ally. Churchill had intellectual insights (as the one that it’d have been better if the US had not been involved in the First War) and his lust for war which always overruled reason.

Hell, what is a statue of a Bolshevik Jew ( depending on sources Lenin ranged from 1/4 all the way to 100% kosher approved) who slaughtered millions of innocent White Christians doing in a major American city? And everyone knows that Jews themselves played a major role in the African Slave Trade and that the Confederacy had Jewish officers as well. Hmm, so only Whitey is guilty, not the Africans who sold their cousins, or the Jew or Arab.

Oh, I can handle the truth alright. I just quoted the parts that gave me a boehner reading it, like they do now. Specifically this part:

They whipped scalawag politicians night after night and drove them from the county. They called on carpetbagger postmasters who immediately left for parts unknown.

It gives me a psychological boehner to read of ‘scalawag politicians’ getting horse whipped. Or even better bull-whipped! (that’s the long whip that you can ‘crack’, and would be perfect for showing ‘scalawag politicians’ the error of their ways ; )

If you’ll humor me, I would rather find it somehow satisfying to imagine Adam Schiff being treated to a session right after his lies about what Trump did vis-a-vis the Ukraine idiocy.

‘You mean I’m going to be whipped like some animal, just because I lied?! This is barbarism! All I did was mischaracterize a conversation in order to smear someone who I hate. And now I’m going to be whipped, just for that?!’

I’m not talking about flaying the skin off of Adam, just a right-proper punishment for being a lying, treacherous, deceiving scumbag. Who’s been charged with the public trust, and sworn to uphold it, but then who betrays that public trust, for his own mealy-mouthed agenda.

Those who betray the public trust should, in my humble opinion, be bull-whipped- into crying submission, and then perhaps, like in James Comey’s case or John Brennan’s, etcetera.. be tarred and feathered, (and if their crimes rise to it, imprisoned for a very long time ; )

(if they lied about things that led to someone losing their lives, as in lies about Iraq or Libya or Syria, etc.. then they should arguably hang by their necks, until they stop dancing ; )

Perhaps that’s what’s wrong with our society, is the lack of a proper deterrence for politicians who’re tempted to betray the public trust.

What could be better than a good ol’ whipping for such scoundrels?

Who wouldn’t have loved to see John McCain publically whipped, before he croaked, as a proper send-off to hell from the American people?!

    I mean, come on, right?!

I’m fanaticizing right now about Dubya, crying and blubbering that ‘it was all Dick Cheney’s fault! He made me tell all those lies! It was the neocons! Whip them if you must, but not me!!!’

‘What’s a few thousand American soldier’s lives anyways? They told me I had to bomb Iraq if I wanted to be president! It was the only way they’d let me be president!!’

‘Oh God please no! Not the whip! ‘

    ‘crack!

Ow! ‘Mommy! daddy! make them stop!’

    (I can dream ; )

There were white girls living with blacks back then.

The lack of a proper deterrence for armed government workers has proven to be an impenetrable bulwark against the manifestation of a peaceful and just society.

In my view, a cop, uniformed or otherwise, should be held accountable for his actions and that includes the prospect of ruinous damages if he or she or they or it interferes with, or obstructs the exercise of, another’s natural rights.

Qualified immunity is an outrage. It is a doctrine created by activist judges. It has no constitutional roots and it is utterly incompatible with our founding principles.

Tucker Carlson, unfortunately, opposes the abrogation of qualified immunity. He characterizes QI as a mechanism that “would make it easier for left-wing organizations to sue the police.” Last week, he suggested that federal legislators who support eliminating QI should be willing to dispense with their immunity which is unequivocally set forth in the constitution.

On this issue, Tucker is a lying, mendacious turd. The legislative immunity to which he referred is the speech & debate immunity. If he has a problem with that, then he should take it up with Madison. It is abject intellectual dishonesty to ridicule the speech & debate immunity while irrationally defending QI.

Lots of contradictions with Tucker who has thus far demonstrated that he does not have the stones to be a race realist or JQ realist.

Wasn’t it Wilson who appointed the first Jewish SCOTUS and then there was something called “the Federal Reserve” and WWI.

don’t forget his ‘Fourteen Points ruse, with its promises of ‘national self-determination’, if only Germany will lay down its arms, and put its trust in our (perfidious) honor..

We all know how that one ended up. (Germany starved- literally- into signing away their people into depraved slavery to the tribe).

Or, Wilson’s efforts to vouchsafe Trotsky’s travels to Russia with suitcases of cash, in order to foment the Bolshevik terror. Wilson intervened on Trotsky’s behalf after the commie POS was arrested in Canada.

He sure was an (if not thee) betrayer of everything of virtue and decency in this world.

His treasons led directly to hundreds of millions of souls perishing in the most cruel ways imaginable. The Holodomor and the fire bombing of European cities. The mass rapes of Eastern Europe and genocides writ large all over the planet.

To think that one man could have betrayed us all so infamously, is hard to wrap one’s brain around.

His actions undid all the sacrifices of the Founding Fathers of this nation, by chaining the American people to a ((Central Bank)), the very thing our Founders killed British soldiers, and were willing to die, to prevent.

And all of that undid by one execrable little coward and civilizational Judas.

If they have no use for the statue, I could use the head, at least- to decorate the bottom of my septic tank.

    Well stated, as usual Mike,

Tucker is good at frowning, and he’s really the only semi-sane voice in the ((media)), but he definitely pulls his punches. The closest thing to telling the truth I’ve seen him do, (and I disconnected from cable about years ago, so I now only see him when someone links to him), is when he says something like, ‘What a crock Russian meddling is, if you ask anyone in this town, they’ll tell you who does the meddling’. Anyways, when he said something like that long ago, I figured that was a close as he’d dare go.

And you’re right about Qualified immunity’ being an outrage.

And you’re also right about “a cop, uniformed or otherwise, should be held accountable for his actions and that includes the prospect of ruinous damages if he or she or they or it interferes with, or obstructs the exercise of, another’s natural rights”.

Only I’d go one further, and say if they obstruct another’s natural rights without just cause (based on a reasonable standard), they deserve a bullet.

Every one of those thugs at Waco and Ruby Ridge, deserved a bullet. Lon Horiuchi deserves to dance at the end of a rope. As does everyone involved with perpetrating those terrible tragedies. Just like the FBI agents who assassinated LaVoy Finicum.

Police should be held to a much more exacting standard than the rest of us. We put our public trust in them, and give them great powers to protect the public, that are all too easy to abuse.

When the police abuse the power entrusted to them, they’re far worse than a street thug, because they’ve been trained and entrusted and empowered, but only to serve the law, not to serve their own puffed-up egos, which is what happens waaayyyyy too often, believe me.

Yes, Tucker is ‘our’ sole voice in the media, but as you say, he too follows the script, when his masters bark.

“He took America into WWI (quite possibly under coercion from the Jews who got hold of his letters to his mistress and threatened to expose him)…”

First, a series of events in Europe led the U.S. to enter WW1. Second, what is your evidence regarding this “coercion”?

    “his disastrous Versailles Treaty”

Dude, it wasn’t HIS treaty. He offered suggestions to the leaders of Great Britain and France. Remember, the U.S. Senate never ratified it.

“Jews whose Weimar Republic gave rise to Hitler”

Actually, political and economic conditions within Germany led to the rise of a dictator.

Consult a history book before spouting off nonsense.

As a representative of the US, a belligerent party to the War, Wilson was present at the sessions when the articles of the Versailles Treaty were formulated among the US, France, England and Italy; Germany was not allowed to be present, hence it was merely a Dictate.
In Paris, there is to this day an Avenue Wilson. Wilson was the man who with his 14 Points raised great hopes but rescinded in all of them and broke his word. This will always be remembered about: He broke his word. He should have resisted particularly Clemenceau, bit also the Poles and Czechs who presented their fantastic lies about the extent of the areas in which they said lived and were a majority. The result was that very few Poles and no Czechs lived beyond the borders of the newly-formed states, but many millions of Germans and Hungarians were put under the yoke of these untruthful chauvinists.
Wilson could have prevented particularly the French from their insidious machinations against an acceptable conclusion of the War. Representing an active belligerent, he, Wilson was in a position to make more than mere suggestions.
He felt the need to act from early on in an anti-German and pro-Entente manner, acquiescing to infringements of US neutrality at first and following his secret plan to bring the US into War, despite his promises not to, he felt no need to force the English hand to abandon their Continental blockade, instead he made hateful speeches against the German navy attempting to break it.

I am cognizant of the background. But anony stated “HIS disastrous Versailles Treaty”, which infers that it was Wilson’s own doing, when in fact it clearly was not the case.

Pat, I’ll explain this real slow. You don’t live in 1918. You don’t live in the 30s or even the 70s. You live in the 21st century. You live in a country that cannot meet the contemporary minimal standards of the civilized world. Killer pigs are just one aspect of that.

“..a two-term president who took us into the Great war..”

Said as if this was somehow a good thing. He “took us” into a needless war AFTER he was specifically elected as a peace candidate who ran on the slogan “he kept us out of the war”.

  44. @follyofwar

Your WW1 figures may be wrong or incomplete. 4,503 men died in accidents and 1,000 committed suicides. This raises the total number to over 120,000. In 1930 the veterans bureau noted that war-related-disease, wounds, illnesses and other traumas inflicted on the western front had raised the total cost of American lives to 460,000 deaths. Gas attack victims were especially likely to die prematurely. Also about 41,000 American soldiers were listed as psychiatrically disabled. Many of them were institutionalized for life. See the book THE ILLUSION OF VICTORY.

A lot of Americans had their lives ruined so one oddball egomaniac could strut like a peacock on the world stage.

  45. It doesn’t EVER end, they just keep pushing along, until someone has the guts to say, NO MORE!! The intestinal fortitude of D.C. is pathetic at best, there’s no hope for leadership to do anything, they are Bought-n-Paid-For!!

George W. Bush and Barack Obama belong on any worst presidents list. Along with Wilson and LBJ.

Bill Clinton was bad, but not as bad as people like Wilson, LBJ, GWB and Obama.

  47. Erzberger says:

How come nobody gets upset about Trump throwing Wilson under the bus in his recent West Point speech (June 13, 2020)? After a load of the usual drivel about the bravery of American patriots, he zeroed in on abolishing Wilsonianism (regime change, makin g the world safe for democracy):

“ Each of you begins your career in the Army at a crucial moment in American history. We are restoring the fundamental principles that the job of the American soldier is not to rebuild foreign nations, but defend — and defend strongly –our nation from foreign enemies. We are ending the era of endless wars. In its place is a renewed, clear-eyed focus on defending America’s vital interests. It is not the duty of U.S. troops to solve ancient conflicts in faraway lands that many people have never even heard of. We are not the policemen of the world.

But let our enemies be on notice: If our people are threatened, we will never, ever hesitate to act. And when we fight, from now on, we will fight only to win. As MacArthur said: “In war, there is no substitute for victory.”

Germany never threatened the US, nor did Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq etc. Glorifying the hideous McArthur is as low as it gets. Did he win in Korea? If so, why are the US and North Korea still in a state of armistice? Who are the enemies now? China, North Korea, Germany and the EU, Iran, of course, even Canada has been proclaimed as a security risk. Expect annexation of Canada sooner or later. You know: vital interests like water, oil, whatever. Germany has to be destroyed for exporting too many cars to the US – unacceptable that the US should not be first, including its car industry. Russia – tricky

  48. Every single war America has fought since at least 1898 – The Spanish-American war – has been entirely a war of choice for the USA. In absolutely no case was America threatened or in any danger.
