Accused of being a serial harasser in 2019, Joe Biden did what comes naturally. He apologized for perceived past misbehavior, and, to appease his accusers, pledged to choose a woman for a Biden ticket.

Reacting to the racial rage that erupted after the death of George Floyd under the knee of a white Minneapolis cop, Biden reacted again. He put out word he would be looking closely for a Black woman to run with.

Thus did Joe paint himself into a corner.

For there was no Black female governor of any state in the Union, and there was only one Black woman in the U.S. Senate — Kamala Harris.

This presented a problem. For in the first debate, Harris had charged Biden with colluding with segregationist senators in the ’70s to block the busing of school children for racial balance.

Harris introduced the toxic charge against Biden with this sweet upfront concession: “I don’t believe you are a racist.”

This Tuesday, Biden made a virtue out of necessity.

He chose Harris to run with him. And did so just one day after receiving a letter from 100 prominent Black men led by rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs and radio host Charlamagne tha God that read like an ultimatum.

“For too long Black women have been asked to do everything from rally the troops to risk their lives for the Democratic Party with no acknowledgment, no respect, no visibility, and certainly not enough support.

“Failing to select a Black woman in 2020 means you will lose the election. … We don’t want to choose between the lesser of two evils and we don’t want to vote for the devil we know versus the devil we don’t because we are tired of voting for devils — period.”

Astonishing. Here are prominent Black Democrats describing the candidates they have had to support in recent years — Bill and Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, Joe Biden — as “devils” and the “lesser of two evils.”

Last Friday, 700 “Concerned Black Women Leaders” delivered a similar letter to Biden demanding he put a Black woman on the ticket.

Wednesday, Biden complied. But after the media ovation for Biden’s selection of Harris dies down, a new reality will emerge.

Before winning her Senate seat in 2016, Harris was a prosecutor and two-term attorney general of California who had established a reputation for being tough on petty criminals.

Biden, as chairman of the Senate judiciary committee, also had taken pride in helping craft the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, which dramatically increased incarcerations and disproportionately affected Black men.

However, Black Lives Matter has pulled the Democratic Party sharply to the left on the issue of crime and cops with its battle cry of “defund the police!”

Yet, today, two months after Floyd’s death, mayors and cops in Democratic cities are still bedeviled by rioters, looters, arsonists, anarchists and a criminal class that settles its quarrels with nightly killings and weekend shootouts.

The public is getting fed up. People want their cops back, and leftist politicians and police are coming into increasing conflict.

The Black police chief of Seattle, Carmen Best, has retired rather than carry out the city’s decision to cut 50% of her budget.

ORDER IT NOW

Elected officials in New York, Los Angeles and Minneapolis have approved plans to reduce police budgets. Meanwhile, shooting and killings are going up in almost every city including D.C. and New York, where more have died of gunshot wounds in 2020 than died all last year.

The president has staked out his position, and it does not lack for clarity. President Donald Trump embraces the phrase “law and order,” denounces the “defund-the-police” movement as promoting anarchy, and offers federal aid and agents to cities that request help. He calls on mayors and governor to demand the National Guard to deal with the crisis and condemns them for their chronic failure to safely secure cities they have run for decades.

Trump has been accused of taking us back to the Nixon era.

But 1968 was the culmination of a decade of soaring crime the likes of which the nation had not known. At its convention in Chicago, the Democratic Party was ripped apart by anarchic violence and the police response. In late September, even Hubert Humphrey was denouncing the “fascists” shouting him down at every appearance.

Undeniably, Trump has his problems.

But it is not certain that Biden’s sheltering in his basement and issuing his milquetoast responses to Portland, Seattle and the shootings, lootings and killings in Chicago, will prevail on Nov. 3 over Trump’s boisterous campaign call to crack down on criminals, go back to school, get back to work and “play ball.”

Biden-Harris looks like a ticket content to sit on its lead and ride to victory in November, the way Governor Dewey did in 1948.

In any election year in the past, my bet would be that Mumbles Biden and Kamala-Clinton would be sure losers. But we’ve seen such a departure from the norm this year that I can’t say they will lose. The COVID hoax, mail in voting, White Lives Don’t Matter, etc, could never happen in a healthy journalistic environment, but narrative control, canceling of the Constitution, and a sense of fair play have been cast to the winds. The powers that really control our lives have shown their willingness to destroy America to save their grift. The whole world has gone crazy, and it gets worse from here. 2. I didn’t get past the title of this article. The “United States” of 2020 bears so little resemblance to the United States of 1948 that Pat might as well be analyzing this election in the light of Brazilian or Argentinian elections. In fact, the lessons of those elections are probably increasingly relevant to the geographic entity known as the United States.

    Semi-weekly litter box duty.

Reacting to the racial rage that erupted after the death of George Floyd under the knee of a white Minneapolis cop, Biden reacted again. He put out word he would be looking closely for a Black woman to run with.

Found two of these nuggets here last time:
    – “death of George Floyd under the knee of” is Mr. Buchanan’s cowardly way of backing out of the Establishment narrative of “atrocity” and “sadistic public execution” that he was writing in June
    – contradistinguishing “white” and “Black” also helps to stoke racial conflict among the sheep

Note, too, the two inciteful uses of “react” in the blocked quote. Hegelian dialectical horsefeathers from the Beltway, with the same, inevitable solution: vote, sheep, vote. And keeping people gulled into solving problems through another Red v Blue Most Important Election Ever, he has now openly invoked “1968.” (Maybe he does read these comments after all.)

Harrumphing a few paragraphs of PoliticsAsSportsball (“Thus did Joe paint himself into a corner”), and the word count is easily reached before the weekend. Tune in Monday, America!

Nah, don’t give him age as an excuse. He still has enough on the ball to whitewash his years of “public service,” rely with his dwindling fans on goodwill from what he said (sincerely? cf., Trump) during his increasingly remote political campaigns, and address current events shilling for the GOP, demonizing the Dems, and covering the Right cheek of Uncle Sam’s Exceptionally! bloated ass overseas.

    Cut him no slack.

  6. Last Friday, 700 “Concerned Black Women Leaders” delivered a similar letter to Biden demanding he put a Black woman on the ticket.

It’s only a matter of time before the next group starts making similar tribal demands. They just need to get organized. The blueprint is in the book The Latino Wave: How Hispanics Will Elect the Next American President by journalist Jorge Ramos.

  7. So, Biden was shaking in his shoes after receiving that letter from “100 prominent black men?” Where would “P Diddy” and that Charlemagne guy go anyway? Unlike Kanye West, it’s doubtful that they would consider leaving the democrat plantation. And do they have any influence over how black women vote?

Biden’s handlers know damn well that, just like every other democrat, he’s in no danger of receiving less than 90% of the black vote, regardless of how many times he disses them (i.e. “If you vote for Trump, you ain’t black.”). They’ll stick to him like glue because he was Obama’s VP.

It was decided months ago that Kamala was going to be picked as Biden’s running mate. Because that’s who Hillary wanted.

It was my take that Kamala-Clinton was the first choice of the Empire. She was heavily promoted early on. Their alternate was Gay Pete. These are people the Empire grooms to front for the NWO agenda, to lead America in the NWO’s name. Sanders and Warren were sure losers since they were not NWO constructs. Biden was a fall back position since he had name recognition and could claim Obama legacy. When Kamala and Mayor Pete-pie tanked in spite of the heavy promotion, the Empire reluctantly had to run Mumbles Biden. Kamala-Clinton was always the choice for VP, since nobody will vote for a gay man and Mumbles will retire immediately after election. So the Empire gets it’s way all the same.

Is it Buchannan that is stoking racial conflict? He was simply pointing out what Biden had said, that he’d select a black woman. Because of pressure for the black community.

    100 prominent Black men:

“… because we are tired of voting for devils — period.”

    Astonishing. ..

    It is astonishing.

whom are these 100 prominent black men who’re characterizing (basically all) white people as “devils”?!

If Biden had selected a white person, then as far as these 100 prominent black men are concerned, it would then have amounted to selecting a devil.

This is a rather astonishing thing for prominent blacks to be reveling, that they openly consider white people to be devils.

And, it’s also notable that this doesn’t seem to raise an eyebrow with white folks.

But if they do notice it, and mention it, then they’re ‘stoking racial conflict’, huh?

Reminds me of how the media screech that Trump is Hitler! and a white supremacist who hates all POC, and why does he keep trying to divide the nation by race?!?!

We just need De Niro saying ‘stop kicking me! Stop kicking me!’ and it would be perfect.

Correct if Buchanan meant the crimes committed by the United States of America against the indigenous populations of Vietnam and later Cambodia. The major unrest in the USA was a direct result of the Vietnam War and its principle promoters, LBJ and Francis Cardinal Spellman.

  13. Dems aren’t above choosing a “law and order” candidate as long as it’s obscured by left-seeming rhetoric, and the timing is certainly right. Don’t forget just how many fence-sitting ostensible liberals it took to elect Nixon twice. It’s a sword that cuts both parties in this election.

Pat brings up Bill Clinton as if the electorate really cares about the racial flaws of his presidency. Nobody besides a handful of extreme left critics bothered themselves about any of the center-right policies of the 90s until Bush Jr. was in office to bear the blame. Did any LGBTQ+ Hillary supporters (or more importantly, those who were desperate to be perceived as allies) care in any substantial way about the Clintons’ late and labored conversion to the gay marriage cause?

I say that white and black voters will be happy to forget or excuse the “Superpredators” rhetoric, along with Kamala’s own hardline policies, if it means getting Trump out and getting a black woman in. At this point, they could elect a Black Hitlerina with absolutely no sense of ideological incongruity. I’m certain that for a lot of people, Biden is a foot in the door — at death’s door — and nothing more. Quoth the Raven.

  14. Exile says:

Trump has given us more promises, tough talk and Tweets – and done nothing but let Kim & Kanye’s friends out of jail in return for another 1% of the Black vote.

Excuses, blame-shifting, coping and deflection can’t hide the fact that Trump has left 90% of his previous promises entirely unfulfilled.

He has entirely let White Americans down and he can’t even be bothered to say the word “White” unless he’s trying to con us out of a vote.

  19. Kamala struck fear into his opponents. Entering the ring at 7 feet tall and a proportioned 400 pounds had the audience in shock. That wooden face mask—and mono-syllable grunts before and after matches. Most were against ‘washed up” white “ham and eggers” –guys like Donnie Trumpet and Mikey Pentz but Kamala would take on 2 at a time pinning them and then the 3 count. With real action like this for past memories—the drama unfolding in DC today –pales by comparison.

  20. No arguing that Kamala was as formulaic of a choice as Biden could make: Black, female, and holding a higher office than anyone else who’s black and female.

I’ve got an article here about what I think Kamala is likely to do policy-wise, in the event that her stars align and Biden drops dead before his term is up: https://www.twilightpatriot.com/2020/08/what-to-expect-from-kamala-harris.html

Anyway, I think the odds are against Biden-Harris winning in November. Though I do not feel as sure about that as I did at the beginning of the year, since the wrecked economy and inept handling of the riots have made Trump look weak.

  21. Jesus, Pat, I love ya, but how do you dodge it? I hate to tell the Empress an obvious and as-yet unmentioned fact in the press:

Kamala ain’t black. She’s a Brahman from India. She has enjoyed Ultimate Privilege her entire life. She’s played every card and undeservedly benefited from all of it. She has to be neck and neck with Liz Warren for stolen privilege and valor.

Not African for three generations and THEY were slave owners and traders in the sugar cane bizz in Jamaica. The rest of her his High-Caste Brahmans from India, the single most racist group on the planet, worse than Jews in Israel. She destroyed hundreds (or thousands?) of black lives in service to California’s prosecuting meat grinder, something like 94% of her ‘convictions’ mere plea bargains. She’s a hideous woman. Hopefully, the Blacks call this out when they see that demonic rage bubble up when she gets her dander up. Oh, she’s way nastier than Hillary. And she is fully on-board with the Israeli Way.

    But she ain’t Black. That’s a joke, a sham.

I think we all know what the Jew controlled media reaction would be to a letter to the Republican party by 700 concerned White women leaders calling on them to take a pro-white stance.

Kamaumau Harris isn’t even really black. She just has some Jamaican in her. Stacy Abrams is a real fire breathing black buckette who hates whitey with a passion and would make the black electorate swoon.

Trump is giving mixed messages. He’s painting himself as the law and order candidate while railing against Joe Biden for supporting the 1994 crime bill that led to an increase in the black male incarceration rate. But everyone with a brain understands that maintaining law and order isn’t possible without locking up violent, recidivist black criminals, for long periods of time since they commit a wildly disproportionate amount of violent crime.

Some observers, like Pat Buchanan, think the unrest in the cities will lead to a repeat of 1968 and a landslide win for Republicans. But recent election results say otherwise. Anti-white and defund the police radicals like Ilham Omar, Ocasio Cortez and Rashida Tlaib all cruised to easy victories unlike in 2018. And the nation’s demographics and political orientation has change dramatically since 1968 and not for the better.

You should know by now that when the Establishment wants anything, that’s what the Court will do. I’m updating and reposting below (again) to help explain why I quit voting, especially with two crayons:

    ——

Justice Kennedy – who decreed the change in legal marriage – was a Republican choice for whom young Mr. Kavanaugh clerked before helping President Cheney with the Patriot Act to earn his first robe on the Swampville Circuit. Chief Justice Roberts was the one who nailed down Big Sickness for the pharmaceutical and insurance industries. Just as important are the cases that the Court kicks for lack of standing, or as with your 2A declines to take up at all.

Like the “federal” elections held every November in even-numbered years and the 5-4 decrees of the Court, the nail-biting confirmation hearings are another part of the show that keeps people gulled into accepting that so many things in life are to be run by people in Washington, so we should pour our time and energy into the endless drama of Red v Blue politics. Mr. Buchanan for years has been proclaiming each The Most Important Ever.

I’m still inclined to the notion that the Constitution was intended, at least by some of its authors and supporters, to create a limited national government. But even by the time of Marbury, those entrusted with the powers have arrogated the authority to redefine them. In my lifetime, the Court exists to deal with hot potato social issues in lieu of the invertebrate Congress, to forebear (along with the invertebrate Congress) the warmongering and other Exceptional! “foreign policy” waged under auspices of the President, and to dignify the Establishment’s shepherding and fleecing of the people.

Why should a robed, unelected politician be redefining marriage? Entrusted to enforce the Constitutional limitations on the others? Sure, questions like these are posed from time to time in a dissenting Justice’s opinion, but that ends the discussion other than in the context of replacing old Justice X with middle-aged Justice Y. Those of us outside the Beltway are told to tune in and root Red. And there are pom pom shakers and color commentators just like Mr. Buchanan for Team Blue.

    So yes the courts matter.

Why should a robed, unelected politician be redefining marriage?

They shouldn’t be but liberal and mushy judges like Kennedy don’t think the intent of the constitution matters in regards to their own egalitarian ideals. The men that wrote the constitution weren’t egalitarian so liberals have to make dishonest arguments for matters that really should stay at the state level. Even RGB admitted that Roe V Wade was really about the values of the time. Meaning they wanted it to be legal at a federal level and not allow the states to create their own laws. Most abortion activists can’t explain the interpretation that the liberal judges came up with to justify it.

But to put a stop to this, keep voting GOP…. Right.

Biden wants to ban semi-auto rifles.

Biden wants to ban magazines that can hold more than 10 rounds.

    So not even close.

Trannies are grooming little kids at your local school, homosexuals are marrying in Christian churches, Jews are printing trillions of dollars for their own Tribe and your culture is a wasteland of hatred for Whites and celebration of degeneracy.

You didn’t fight over any of that

So if I support Trump on the issue of guns I must fit some crude conservative stereotype you created in your mind?

I’m actually to the left of most here on economic issues. I don’t care for mainstream conservatism as it is mired in globalism and “free market” wishful thinking. But that doesn’t mean I am going to vote for Biden. I have mixed feelings on Trump but I’m deeply insulted by the Democrat plan to elect a fall guy and stick in the 5% Black woman they wanted in the first place.

Harris reminds me of an invasive, exotic plant species. Such a species creeps unobtrusively upon the surface…until it finds something to climb. Then it encounters another species to use to climb into the sunlight. It then puts down roots, and will out-compete anything else.

Voting for Trump doesn’t mean you support the GOP or the system. I am involved in third party politics and yet here you are making judgements about me and how I vote.

So, who are you going to vote for?

Besides, your entirely ornamental gun collection hasn’t “conserved” anything.

I agree on that point. Right-wingers clutch their guns and watch while their freedoms are taken away from them. Because they know that if they tried to use their guns to preserve freedom they’d be crushed by the government. Guns are in fact a substitute for actual freedoms. “We might be living under totalitarianism and it might be getting steadily worse but at least we have our guns.” It’s a pathetic fantasy.

So gun owners are now to blame for a loss of freedom in the US? Ridiculous.

Conservative Inc isn’t pro-gun and they have dominated the right for decades.

Their plans to fix America have FAILED and yet they still control the American right. A bunch of selfish White millionaires that cling to a failed globalist fantasy of the “Free market” uniting everyone while desperately trying to pretend that race doesn’t exist.

They are the real problem on the right, not gun owners.

Con Inc and Libertarians should be shipped off to Haiti in rafts so they can show us that race doesn’t matter. Go build your “free market” utopia there.

Some of us have guns because we don’t trust right or left and not because we want to wear some corny molon labe t-shirt. Better to have some guns and water on hand in case society collapses. Both right and left stick to dopey failed theories that can be picked apart in minutes. Why should we have confidence that they can keep the lights running in an emergency when they can’t even face basic facts about race? Look at all these dopey mayors that can’t even put down a riot. Why do you think guns are selling out?

  45. People want their cops back. The moisture is beading up your screen as Pat licks law enforcement sphincter.

Your asshole cops never went away – they had a ball in the “riots” that kept you old pussies home wetting the bed. Amnesty counted 125 violent police crimes against public assembly in protest of killer pigs.

Nobody wants pigs back except chickenshit timmies like Pat. Every shift pigs kill some poor sad sack who’s usually white. If COVID wipes out all you elderly cowards trembling when you sneak outside to get the mail, then we can save money on white man’s welfare busywork. Cop jobs are for stupid C+ assholes who can’t get real jobs. Fuck these pigs. Zero out their pensions and they’ll eat a gun cause they can’t get drunk on jet skis and we’ll save more on medical care.

Baby Jesus gurgles and coos every time a pig eats his gun.

Pretty sad that the liberals dominate the schools and the only the opposition they can muster to Unz amounts to a 12 year old calling Pat names and ranting about police.

    Yea well…….you lick butthole.

Pretty much the sum of all opposition to alt-right from establishment types both right and left.

Now get back to your online anthropology class. Your prof has some exciting new theories on how White people are to blame for everything.

  50. @Pseudonymous1

Here’s to the Democrats expanding the supreme court, stuffing it with ultra liberals as the Repubs have stuffed it with conservatives and then removing the requirement of Senate confirmation votes.

We 2A supporters only need the courts to hold out another 10 years.

By then it will be easy for Blacks to print guns from 3D printers and liberals will be forced to abandon their strategy of blaming private gun ownership. In fact liberals will look back and realize that trying to blame Whites and the 2A for their failed plans for Black areas was a massive waste of time and resources.

    So here’s to that.

    Cheers.

So gun owners are now to blame for a loss of freedom in the US? Ridiculous.

No, that isn’t what I said. My point was that gun owners are in practice powerless to do anything about the loss of freedoms. Gun owners are not responsible for the problem. They’re simply politically irrelevant.

  52. Gun owners are not responsible for the problem. They’re simply politically irrelevant.

Politically irrelevant? Politicians could only dream.

Beto was dropped by the mainstream once he announced his plan to kick in doors and take AR-15s.

Metropolitan liberals have been trying to convince rural Democrats that they aren’t going to take their guns.

Beto ruined his career with that comment.

Johnson, kudos for the apt nym but comment 49 shows deficient reading comprehension. Evidently you also lack the habits of mind for productive discourse.

And you’ll never stick up for your imaginary freedom with the little popguns you lovingly stroke to climax. You’ll always knuckle under and snivel “Yes, officer, no sir officer” like a little prolapsed prison suka. That’s why you loser proles are so downtrodden in your fake democracy. Better check and make sure your PBA sticker’s up to date! You cringing snool.

The root of fake liberty must be watered with Johnson’s saliva on every asshole cop’s dick.

What you think proles are able to comment on websites at random hours during the day?

Shows how much you know about workers in this country.

Anyways I live in small town and I rarely talk to the police.

They drive through my neighborhood and I wave as I mow the lawn.

I also wave at the garbageman.

Doesn’t mean I am kissing up to anyone. It’s called being friendly.

You really have some weird sexual issues if you can’t make a sentence without some oral reference.

I am going to guess that you are mixed race and bitter.

For whatever reason the cop hating trolls tend to be mixed race like Shaun “Talcum X” King.

Full blooded Blacks get online and search for BBQ recipes or rap songs.

It’s the self-loathing mulattoes that get obsessed over a website like this one.

Blaming the police for anything is just stupid. Might as well blame Black problems on firemen.

I have no doubt that liberalism is a sinking ship if their front line troops can only resort to trolling crass insults when the conversation isn’t controlled. You are a tribute to the liberal education system. (slow clap)

You made my day in fact. Liberals dominate the media and schools but you can only respond with comments like WELL F DA POLICE SUKA. Oh man that ship is going down.

I’m as lilywhite as they come but I’m not a fan of the police. Unfortunately the police are necessary. But just as we need cops to protect us from criminals we also need laws to protect us from cops.

In a less-than-ideal world cops are like whores – they’re a necessary evil. Just as it’s unwise to put whores on a pedestal it’s unwise to put cops on a pedestal.

Sadly in the current political climate, on this issue as on so many other issues, the debate is increasingly dominated by extremists on both sides. You can believe the police are necessary whilst also believing that they have too much power and they abuse that power too often.

Dickname Peter Johnson, 54, 55 (!), ooh, hit a nerve, didn’t I? On and on! Waving to cops as they surveil you and check on your compliance. Your heart is free, Braveheart. Turn around and put your hands behind your back and bend over for your cavity inspection, that’s even friendlier!

I bet you’re this, I bet you’re that, random ad hominems – You’re not too bright, I like that in a man. You drolly mistake Russian prison slang for sucka. Even jigs spell better than you, they know to put the c in it. In this you mark yourself as a provincial goober who’s never been out of the country. Do you even know any jigs, or mulattoes? You scared of them like you’re scared of cops? Sounds it!

You also adhere to the government-issue political enemy typology for simpletons. Conservative XOR liberal. That’s prole larnin’. Loser larnin’. There’s a whole world out there Roger, I mean Dick, I mean Johnson, far beyond the synthetic enemies you fight with, and they own you. We own you. We make money from the Gaussian copulas that suck the measly pathetic “equity” from your “home” as you mow your tiny lawn and grovel for cops.
