“The lamps are going out all over Europe, we shall not see them lit again in our life-time,” said Foreign Secretary Sir Edward Grey to a friend on the eve of Britain’s entry into the First World War.

Observing from afar as the coronavirus pandemic ravages the Old Continent, Grey’s words return to mind. And as the Great War changed Europe forever, the COVID-19 pandemic seems to be changing the way European peoples see each other.

“All for one and one for all!” These were the words by which “The Three Musketeers” of Alexandre Dumas lived their lives.

This was the ideal upon which the EU and NATO were built. An attack against one is an attack against all. The Schengen Agreement by which citizens of Europe are as free to travel through the countries of their continent as Americans are to travel from Maryland to Virginia is rooted in that ideal.

Yet, suddenly, all that seems to belong to yesterday.

How the EU’s nation-states are reacting to the coronavirus crisis brings to mind another phrase, a French phrase, “Sauve qui peut,” a rough translation of which is, “Every man for himself.”

The New York Times has written of the new reality. In Sunday’s top story, “Europe Locks Up and Faces Crisis as Virus Spread,” the Times wrote:

“While some European leaders, like President Emmanuel Macron of France, have called for intensifying cooperation across nations, others are trying to close their countries off.

“From Denmark to Slovakia, governments went into aggressive virus-fighting mode with border closings.”

Describing a host of countries heeding the call of tribalism and nationalism, the Times laments Monday:

“Today, Europeans are… erecting borders between countries, inside their cities and neighborhoods, around their homes — to protect themselves from their neighbors, even from their own grandchildren.”

“Confronting a virus that knows no borders, this modern Europe without borders is building them everywhere.”

In a few days, the Europe of open borders has become history.

“As the pandemic spreads from Italy to Spain, France, Germany,” reports the Times, “there is a growing sense of the need for harsh, even authoritarian methods, many of them taken from China.

“Europe has been terrified by Italy. Suddenly, many of the continent’s countries are trying to lock down, to protect themselves and their citizens. The idea of European solidarity, and of a borderless Europe where citizens are free to travel and work, seems very far away.”

Italy, hardest-hit country after China, is on lockdown. Germany is closing its borders with Austria, Denmark, France, Luxembourg and Switzerland. The Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia have announced they will close borders to all foreigners. President Donald Trump has expanded his travel ban on Europe to include two of America’s oldest friends, Britain and Ireland.

Slovenia has closed its border with Italy. Norway is on lockdown. International travelers who arrive in Norway risk a mandatory 14-day quarantine, regardless of their health.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced that Canada is barring entry to all travelers who are not citizens or permanent residents. The only exceptions are air crews, diplomats, and, “at this time,” U.S. citizens.

What we are witnessing is the clash of the claims of human nature and of ideology.

Through history, most men have put attachments of family, tribe, faith, country, race and nation above the claims of liberal ideology.

But while all citizens may have the same God-given right to life and constitutional right to “equal protection of the laws,” all people do not have equal rights to our affections or concerns.

For most men, the claims of the heart are superior to those of the mind. Foreign folks do not have the same claims upon us as our own. In a crisis, people put families, friends and country first.

ORDER IT NOW

In the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson declares that, “all men are created equal.” Yet, what truly seems to enrage him and to justify the rebellion against George III are the crimes the king had committed and that he had been “deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity.”

The king had violated the claims of our common blood while we Americans had not been “wanting in attentions to our British brethren.”

Closing borders is a grievous offense against liberalism that is supposedly rooted in the sin of xenophobia. But what governments in Europe are saying by closing their borders, what Americans are saying by banning travel from Europe, is that while all men may be created equal, we will always put our own people first, ahead of the rest.

When a crisis comes, be it a war in which the survival of the nation is at stake or an epidemic where the health and survival of our people is at stake, we take care of our own first.

This is human nature. This is the way the world works.

Patrick J. Buchanan is the author of “Nixon’s White House Wars: The Battles That Made and Broke a President and Divided America Forever.”

The upside of the Coronavirus is that it temporarily knocked some sense into Western leaders and otherwise racial self loathing girly men like Justin Trudeau. But I’m not hopeful that it will last long and everyone once again relapses into unwavering support for globohomo and race replacement of their own native white populations via mass immigration and mass importation of “refugees”.

I guess we can enjoy this fit of sanity among Western leaders. I’ll really celebrate if orange Jebulus announces a six month halt on all immigration and work visas with an option to extend another six months.

I agree, our own come first. But, does closing the U.S. border include people within walking distance? If so, how exactly would that work, at the permeable southern border? Does “taking care of our own first” apply at the hospital, when illegal aliens overrun limited hospital capacity? Does it apply when the income-replacement payments are disbursed?

Francois Legault (L’égo) the NATO puppet denies the right of orthodox jews to work in Quebec’s public function. He’s not better than Trudeau.

He now wants Quebecers to be paid to do nothing, in order to manufacture their consent to close shops.

Once all shops are closed or sold to China, Quebecers will print dollars with their toilet paper.

The best thing that could come out of this pandemic is if companies get used to having employees work remotely and hold virtual meetings, thus reducing the need for urbanization, immigration and business travels.

A permanent reduction to international travels would be a bonus. Airplanes are one of the biggest air polluters. People need to just virtual travel through YouTube instead of flying all over the place. Natives of each country can put up vlogs showcasing their own country, and everyone can experience other countries through these vlogs without physically traveling there. I used to admire world travelers, now I look at them with disdain. They are part of the globohomo tribe that spread viruses everywhere, many are also the wokest SJWs who whined about climate change being an “existential threat” yet never thought about how they contribute to global warming with all their flying.

They were unsparingly loyal to their king but sworn enemies of his rival, Cardinal Richelieu. “Foreign folks do not have the same claims upon us as our own”…but even “our own” may be more bitter enemies, some of them, than any anonymous foreign folks. Civil wars are the most ferocious kind. In severe crises or shortages, many will turn on their neighbors almost as quickly as they would on foreigners. Which is why it’s doubly important to keep such situations from spinning out of control. And The Three Musketeers countryman Macron is right to call for intensifying cooperation across nations – which is not the same as unregulated open borders. If other countries develop effective measures – social or biological – for effectively dealing with these kinds of common extreme scourges, they need to share them with everybody. It’s the only way. United we stand, divided we fall.

The “just in time” supply line for supper markets and consummer-goods means that, upon lock-down, the food supply to cities will be exhausted within 2 weeks.

If it is the case that only the elderly and vulnerable are likely to die from this infection, then allowing those of us who are not so vulnerable to continue as normal, whilst social and health services are provided to the rest would mean that we can keep the people fed, watered, warm…

The orchestrated panic of “our” governments, and the ridiculous level of fear-mongering by the media (including alt-media) is not even remotely helpful and will only make matters worse!

Unless we can keep cities supplied with essentials, a hell of a lot more people will be at risk of panic-induced vulnerabilities.

I wonder how many government agencies/politicians are talking sensibly about this situation? I’m betting none to not many.

For those in a possition to do so I suggest planting a food-garden (now’s the time to get started in the northern hemosphere). – Food, shelter, fuel (including fire-wood) are our keys to independence and survival in an insane world-order.

City-gardens and garden-sharing schemes can go a long way to keeping people fed, provided marshal-law doesn’t prevent their establishment.

Planting a garden now will mean a 3 month wait before first harvest of most produce, in the meantime, stock-up on cereals, pulses, flour, pasta, etc, and leant what wild plants are edible for forraging. Juicing the coarser leaves ( even grasses can be nutritious if processed in this way) can keep you fed and healthy until you dig up your first spuds.

Look after yourselves and each other.

    With love,

Viruses do respect borders if you close them, but if you let people fly in from hot zones you will catch their germs. Closing the border after the event is silly. Our tourist industry was going to be stuffed anyway. Now we have ensured that out domestic economy gets stuffed as well. Way to go, Jacinda!

Diversity is dumb. Look at the Lebanon, the Caucasus, Bosnia, Sri Lanka, Rotherham and a thousand other places. Borders keep other ethnic groups out and permit you to decide the nature of your interaction with them. Many other ethnic groups have radically different and completely incompatible belief systems. If ancient Aztecs today could somehow immigrate to NZ through a time portal, I swear we would let them practise human sacrifice in the name of tolerance.

french-speaking Quebecers seem to be the only group in Canada against which hate can still be freely expressed in the media.

Because they’re trying to cling to their heritage, and that heritage is anathema to the great blending and celebrating diversity!

Only when the Quebecois reject their insistence on that vile motto ‘Je me souviens’, (where they think they have a right to pay homage to their racist heritage and anti-Semitic traditions and memories of their so-called ‘ancestor’s struggles’..) will the Quebecois realize that they must learn to forget. And move into the English-speaking now, where multiculturalism is celebrated! / not their own, provincial, pedestrian and parochial little notions of ‘who’ they think they are, and what their heritage and culture and (perhaps, most of all), language should be.

They must teach the next generations of Quebecers to forget all of that. And embrace a gay and diverse Quebec, with all the English-speaking Television and corporate management of their culture and so-called way of life.

I see even you have repudiated the vile and anti-Semitic language of the Quebecois, and have renounced that ethnocentric – (another word for Nazi) identity for the more culturally aware English-centric ‘Quebecer’. Bravo!

You have rejected that racist slogan ‘Je me souviens’, and you no longer remember, nor do you want the next generation of Quebecois.. er, excuse me- ‘Quebecers’, (spoken in the bland, mechanical intonations of a ‘squarehead’, vs. the lush, sublime music of the French language) to use the outdated and racist ‘Quebecois’.

As if Orthodox Jews give a fu– about Quebec.

Oh, you can be sure they care very much indeed.

There are waaayyy too many Quebecois who believe they can cling to their ancient Christian culture and Francophile identity, and pass it down to their children and grandchildren, along with their language and heritage. Some of them even agitate for secession!, and self-determination = gas chambers.

Luckily, the chosen (along with their usual armies of immigrants), were able to nip that in the bud when they had a referendum, but there yet lingers some elements that still racistly cling to their heritage, with pathetic, if determined efforts to maintain it, in the French-speaking Quebecois landscape.

If anyone doesn’t understand just how dangerous that kind of thing can be, just check out what Akouna was talking about, when he mentioned Francois Legault banning religious symbols, and yet wants to maintain the racist crucifix, as a “cultural” symbol!

We all know the crucifix is a symbol of hate and persecution. Didn’t the Christians, full of hate, persecute the gays for millenniums?! Did they not march into Jerusalem as ‘crusaders’, dressed (literally) in crucifixes, and put every Jew and Muslim to the sword, out of pure hate?!

Did not the same Christians persecute and torture and murder untold thousands upon thousands of innocent Jews and Muslims during the Inquisition?!

Did not the Christians, (and Catholics and Pope in particular) stand by and look on with approval as the boxcars full of Jews and gays were unloaded at Auschwitz and pushed into ovens?!

How can anyone pretend that the crucifix is not a blatant symbol of hatred and persecution and supremacism?!

    And yet…!

The Premier of Quebec, François Legault, has announced that he will keep crucifixes in schools even though his government has actively promoted a ban on religious symbols. According to Mr. Legault, the crucifix represents a cultural symbol, and not a religious symbol

François Legault = Heinrich Himmler !

And you don’t think Canada’s Orthodox Jews care?!

    Calice!

  24. “In the Pandemic, It’s Every Nation for Itself.”

How can they be so full of hate?!

Thank you for this excellent illustration.

You speak in jest, but poignantly tell the truth all the same.

The way the term hate is used in modern globalist discourse is probably the single truest Orwellism in our ever more Orwellian society. It’s simple, pure, literal Newspeak as “1984” used this concept: logocide, the destruction of language and the very idea of truth itself by purposely making words mean the exact opposite of their true meaning.

In the globalist mind, “Hate” is caring about your community, your heritage, even your own family. “Hate” is the little man’s wish for justice, and punishment for wealthy rapists, murderers and pedophiles who prey on his kin. “Hate” is the refusal to spit on your ancestors and prostitute your loved ones.

“Love” meanwhile, in the globalist lexicon, is despising all your ancestors built and selfishly stealing your sons’ and daughters’ future. “Love” is inviting rapists into your community and covering up their crimes against your friends. “Love” is sodomy, pornography and the sexual mutilation of children.

LOVE IS HATE is the unwritten fourth slogan next to the famous three touted by the Party in the “1984” dystopia. Indeed, it goes beyond its model. Even the Party there did not state its utter inhumanity so boldly (although incipient traces of the same thinking can certainly be seen in their practice as well). But our sadistic “Globo-Homo” regime lacks the lingering moral restraints of Orwell’s cardboard villains, based as they were on mere classic Communists. He was a brave and perceptive writer, but the sheer depths of potential human depravity and degradation were beyond his ken. Once more, reality surpasses fiction.

And this is what we fight against.

    talk about poignant!

    And so devastatingly true.

If we love our families, and harbor a precious place in our hearts for our ancestors and traditions, like Christmas or St. Patrick’s Day and the smiles on our children’s faces..

well then, that can only mean we’re full to the brim with HATE!

What kind of Orwellian mind-fuck it is to be lectured and hectored 24/7, about our ‘hate! and racism! and guilt! – by brutal racial supremacists openly committing a cruel and murderous genocide (with our tax dollars) of innocent people for generations now in the ‘Holy Land’.

    >>sigh<<

It's like being lectured about child welfare by Jerry Sandusky.

We truly do live in an Orwellian nightmarish dystopia. You laid it all out very concisely and cogently, and yep, that's where we're at. But at least it was a gradual thing. I remember being told that because racism is wrong, all white men were to be discriminated against, based on their race. Because racism is wrong! So they sort of 'taught' me how to think in their terms, long ago.

What it amount to, is if they like it, (homomania, diversity, The Great Replacement of all white nations, genocide in the Holy Land, Affirmative Action, Endless Wars, etc…), then it’s good.

And if they don’t like it (white families happy and contented, living as nature intended), then it is the most evil, racist, hateful Nazi thing that has ever existed, and MUST be stomped out where ever it is!

It’s just a strain of the common cold that had not been previously tested for. China made political hay – notice how it killed the Hong Kong rebellion without having to deploy troops (basic Sun Tzu). Italy managed to close the borders without Salvini stirring up a hornet’s nest with the EU, in fact Brussels is paying for the Italian holiday. Iran, a nation of old smokers, is able to galvanize its population and keep their minds off the f**ked up economy of a 7th Century theocracy by once again blaming a crisis on the Great Satan. And in the rest of the West, the impending Bear market and its causes within the financial institutions can be masked by the big bad bug. And in the proud tradition of Y2K, the Swine Flu, H1N1, etc, etc, the media is once again telling us that Chicken Little was right. Funny how Bezos own the Times, which pushes the ‘pandemic an sheeit’, while expanding Amazons grasp over the supply system by providing goods at the door. And even better Amazon will be able to take advantage of all the laid off food servers and the like, as more desperate workers can be thrown into the slave caste that are Amazon laborers.

That is why Deep State gives such promotion to non white men and pushes them back. Non white men can and do believe the utter b s and can never or do never have Orwellian charged at them. White men can talk bs too but are always subjected to rigourous scrutiny.

Closing (internal) borders in China is purely a technical measure to fight the virus. It is not some BS about xenophobia or love or hate of immigration. The American mentality to politicize everything is unbearably stupid.

Amen! While we pray for the lives lost, let’s also pray for the silver lining, that this becomes the salvation the West needed for its own survival.

The WSJ reported today that the travel industry – airlines, hotels, casinos, cruises, rental car companies, theme parks are in the deepest trouble they’ve ever been in. They are asking for a $150B bailout. But if this extends into August as Trump said today, they may never make up the losses. I say do not bail out. Let the industry go through a much needed shakeout. All this international traveling is the #1 contributor to global warming. Hopefully people will get used to the new world and travel much less.

In other news from Italy, the president of the Italian National Institute of Health, Silvio Brusaferro said something revelatory in a news conference held at the Civil Protection in Rome.

from the article in , Agenzia Nova Rome, 13 March 2020:
“Coronavirus: ISS [Italian National Institute of Health]: in Italy there are only two deaths ascertained so far due to Covid-19”

“‘Positive deceased patients have an average of over 80 years – 80.3 to be exact…The majority of these people are carriers of chronic diseases. Only two people were not presently carriers of [other non-COV] diseases’, but even in these two cases, the examination of the files is not concluded and therefore, causes of death different from Covid-19 could emerge. The president of the ISS has specified that ‘little more than a hundred medical records’ have so far come from hospitals throughout Italy….

…At present, in fact, the authorities are unable to distinguish those who died from the virus, from those who, on the other hand, are communicated daily to the public, but who were mostly carriers of other serious diseases and who, therefore, would not have died from Covid-19. In response to a question from ‘Agenzia Nova’, in fact, Brusaferro was unable to indicate the exact number of coronavirus deaths. However, the professor clarified that, according to the data analyzed, the vast majority of the victims ‘had serious [non-COV] pathologies and in some cases the onset of an infection of the respiratory tract can lead more easily to death.’ To clarify this point, and provide real data, ‘as we acquire the folders we will go further. However, the populations most at risk are fragile, carriers of multiple diseases’.”

Participating here at Unz for some time now, I’ve come to ‘know’ quite a few very decent people here who’re also Christians. And so it vexes me to point out that all mainstream Christian leaders are so utterly venal and corrupt, and working on behalf of the ((worst enemy)) of the Christian people and Christian faith, to destroy the lives and futures of the Christian people who trust them. Most glaringly the Pope.

It’s hard to imagine that there’s any redemption or salvation for America that might come out of the Christian religion, and I find that beyond tragic. When they’re not shilling for Israel and the Eternal Wars, they’re working to import Somalis into Minnesota, force homos into the Boy Scouts, and generally promote ‘wokeness’ to their flocks.

Gsjackson has pointed out that at least the Mormons have repudiated the Boy Scouts over their radical pro-homo agenda, but then look at the Mormon’s champion Mitt. No one saw any burying, no one saw patient zero, etc. I do have friends in Mexico, and asked them about those ‘dead’ and every one told me ‘we did not see any sick or dead in those days”. SO, where are those dead? we keep hearing about so many dead, but no one shows any dead bodies! Scaremongering at it finest, and people who don’ t ask for evidence. I was into the boys at TruNews for awhile because they are refreshingly anti-Zion. But, every day their program degenerated more and more into fear porn over this overhyped C-19 “pandemic,” and I couldn’t take Rick Wiles and his two yes men seriously anymore. Wiles must be making a forture over hawking his book “Final Day,” which he does several times per show. He’ll send you a personally autographed copy for $100 and an additional $10 for shipping.

My suspicions were confirmed when I watched, just now, two of Dr. Drew Pinsky’s recent interviews. He is adament that the regular flu kills more people than C-19, and only the sick and old are dying (just like the regular flu). He is furious that the press is blowing this out of all proportion, causing the panic to spread every day. Check out his YouTube interviews for yourself.

At first I didn’t think this was a plot to oust Trump (I’m not republican, btw), but now I’m wondering big time. Would the press have over-reacted to this extent if Obama was still The Man? Odd that this was the next crisis to hit Trump on the heels of his exoneration from the failed Jew Coup (credit to TruNews for that one). We who turn for truth to the Unz Review rather than the mainstream garbage are way ahead of the normies.

I’m sad to report, though, that Tucker Carlson seems to have fallen for the CDC narrative hook, line, and sinker. He’s been calling it the Chinese Coronavirus since day one, and those with the insight to question it conspiracy theorists. That’s all he’s been talking about lately, and he’s engendering panic among his millions of avid viewers. He used to be must watch TV for me, but now I plan on spending that hour more productively reading a book, or reading Unz.

As an American I don’t mind taking care of our own first. But taking care of our own first does not mean increasing the suffering of other people. Reimposing sanctions on Iran in 2018 was bad enough, but to increase the in the face of this calamity is cruel and inhuman. Only a cruel and callous person will gloat at the misery of Iranian people.

When a crisis comes, be it a war in which the survival of the nation is at stake or an epidemic where the health and survival of our people is at stake, we take care of our own first.

I ask you again, Mr. Buchanan; does this mean to lose all sense of human decency, even in a time of this calamity? I never knew Americans to be this heartless until this administration came. I too voted for you in 1996. But Patrick Buchanan of 1996 was a different peson. He cared for palestian people and railed against the atrocities commited by Israel. He wrote articles after articles condemning Israel. Now he is afraid to even use the name of Israel in his articles. Patrick Buchanan of 1996 would have condemned behavior of our government and would have opposed inhumane sanctions on Iran.

This is human nature. This is the way the world works.

If it is acceptable human nature, why are pandits complaining about China not releasing critical vaccines or medicines to the US? If nations are supposed to take care of their own people, why compplain if China is doing the same? If this is how the world works, why complain about China. We happily allowed all technologies and other industries go to China for cheap prices. Why complain when they use this as a weapon against us? Isn’t this similar to what we are doing to Iran?

Modern Christians seem to be trying their best to convince as many people as possible that Christianity should be abandoned as useless at best and destructive at worst.

Part of the problem is probably that poor whites no longer go to church. It is a middle and upper middle class affair and has all the bourgeois trappings that go with that demographic.

My last church was always raising money for Chinese missionaries and for their yearly mission trip to places like Haiti or Guatemala. Hundreds of churches sponsor these vanity projects, youth adventure, trips and they are exactly what the bible warned them against with “throwing pearls before swine.”

It was the church my in laws had attended for years and every sermon given by the young doughy preacher always made me a little ill. He had a flat tire around his waist that jiggled when he got animated. “Can’t they see that.” I thought. A few months ago he gave a sermon about being more welcoming to the gays so my father in law decided he had to find another church.

Well, stand by. The Q world says that is what is happening. With people quarantined and not in large gatherings, the shootings by mind-controlled stooges and similar false flags can’t be deployed to take over the news cycles. The bad guys are going down, and soon. They launched this pandemic scare by releasing a bio-weapon to sabotage Trump, but it has been co-opted and turned back on them.

Of course, Q has been saying this for two and a half years, and Anons are kept satisfied with table scraps such as huge increases in prosecution of child trafficking and mass CEO resignations (today’s is “Lord” Rothschild stepping down from public life).

I’m not certain, however, why the Q narrative hasn’t acquired at least a mildly attentive, agnostic audience in these parts, because the target Anons claim to be circling is almost identical to the villains identified every day at UR. They don’t name the Jew, of course, beyond Q saying once that Israel will be saved for last, because they are trying to capture a following largely conditioned by the corporate media. Under this theory, Trump’s relentless sucking up to Israel is just optics (which clearly aren’t working, since the DS attacks him every day). Similar optics are said to include his feuding with Sessions, who is a key player in “the coming storm.”

So I regularly watch the three parallel and completely contradictory universes — Q, UR and the corporate media — in bewilderment. I know the latter is nothing but agenda-driven propaganda and can be ignored. Between Q and UR, the only one offering hope of any sort of win is Q, so I watch it, hopeful but agnostic. if we come out of this quarantine without a fairly significant amount of SHingTF, I’m going to start thinking it’s nothing but a Trump reelection ploy.

And Trump has proposed ending interest on federal student loans until further notice. A knife to the heart of of one of the DS’s biggest scams?

Your poignant criticisms bear much truth. When I read them, my blood starts to boil, because I think they are generally fair, especially when speaking of Amurika. And I know you speak from the heart. As the Indian chief said to Josey Wales, “There is iron in your words.”

Can’t think of any ‘Murkan preachers who decry the persecution of Palestinians, who are often their fellow Christians. Certainly not on tv, but guess who owns that. I make no defense of those who apostasize from the Gospel of peace. My only word to those who preach war and wokeism is, “You will give account on That Day.”

However, even in this once great land now fatefully challenged, some do preach the Gospel. I have never known Greek, Russian, or Arab priests to preach the faddish blasphemies one might hear elsewhere. All three, respectively, have suffered persecution under the Turks and Latins, the Communists, and the ‘Murkan and Israeli myrmidons currently. They know full well the persecution and destruction of their brothers and sisters throughout the Middle East, as do their parishioners.

In Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East bishops and priests have frequently condemned the killing and called for peaceful working out of differences. They have been decimated with the rest of the Christian population, which was once substantial. I believe in Damascus there were native speakers of Aramaic, the language of Christ. Now they are almost gone.

If all the world’s Christians apotasize to the war gospel, save one, I continue to believe in Christ; for He promised to be with the Church till the end of the age. He also said You will answer for every word you speak. God is not mocked, neither is His faith impugned. God is not under judgment, man is. World war and pandemic advance to the gates of great Babylon. Let the just love God and their neighbor. The sun is setting.

FWIW, Italy was in the grip of a TB epidemic, which conveniently morphed into the CV epidemic. Perhaps there’s no evidence that anyone in Italy has died from this new virus. After all the test being used is unsuitable for identifying any particular virus, according to the inventor of the test:

“Dr Kary Mullis, who won the Nobel prize for inventing PCR to detect HIV, [9] explains its limitations—why the PCR is not especially diagnostic, for HIV or for anything else:

“Quantitative PCR is an oxymoron. PCR is intended to identify substances qualitatively, but by its very nature is unsuited for estimating numbers. Although there is a common misimpression that the viral-load tests actually count the number of viruses in the blood, these tests cannot detect free, infectious viruses at all; they can only detect proteins that are believed, in some cases wrongly, to be unique to HIV.
    .
“The tests can detect genetic sequences of viruses, but not viruses themselves.” [1]”

    https://thedoctorwithin.com/blog/2020/03/10/newsletter-march-2020/

I kind of doubt that the test has been reinvented and made in a form that can actually identify a specific virus. Bill Sardi’s guess is as good as our own beloved CDC’s, to put it mildly.

I used to go as a youngster, and I remember almost nothing that was ever said of consequence. Just drab, vanilla homilies about ‘the prodigal child, or some paean to Joseph, with a vaguely Biblical, if gentle rebuke about selfishness before the plate gets passed.

It was really more about a social affair, (the women would check out each other’s hair and clothes, and the men would effect a pious visage) with all demonstrating their ‘respectability’ to the community.

Nothing nefarious about it in the least, except that there is so much spiritual depth and wisdom in the pages of the Bible, (Proverbs and so much more), that when I later read some of it, I was always amazed the preachers always carefully avoided anything in the Bible that made you think.

It was like it is today, all about reinforcing our societal tropes. ‘The Viet Nam war is to save the world from Godless commies’. ‘God blesses them what blesses Israel.. Now it’s ‘Jesus loves homos’. I haven’t been in a while, but I suppose they’re saying the Coronavirus is God’s judgment upon us all for forsaking Israel, blah, blah..

what the west needs more than anything else is a new St. Paul.

I see Geo just posted another one of Brother Nathanial’s videos on the Giraldi thread.

St. Paul was Jewish, and worshiped Christ, and so is and does Brother Nathanial.

He’s whacky and somewhat unorthodox, but he tells the hard, bitter truth.

“Their inability to effectively respond to the coronavirus is, I think, inducing pressure on and inside the leadership,” Marine Corps Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, the commander of U.S. Central Command, told the Senate last week.

Some analysts believe that Iran has renewed attacks on U.S. forces in order to distract from the coronavirus outbreak. “Iranians are fiercely nationalistic,” American Enterprise Institute scholar Michael Rubin, who specializes in Iran and the Middle East, told the Washington Examiner. “And so, basically, it’s a no-brainer on the part of the Iranian regime to try to distract people from their own incompetence.

There are sanctions on the bloodthirsty butcher Ayatollah Khameni.

All the Iranian people have to do to rejoin the civilized world is — Get rid of the hated sociopath Khameni. Sorry that degenerate Khameni is causing the Iranian people to suffer, but the U.S. is unwilling to put boots on the ground. It is up to the Iranian people to end their 40+ years of suffering under false religious zealotry.

    I love that. Thank you.

Can’t think of any ‘Murkan preachers who decry the persecution of Palestinians, who are often their fellow Christians.

The rot is deep and pervasive.

First they came for the Palestinians..

“You will give account on That Day.”

I pray you’re right about that.

Greek, Russian, or Arab priests to preach the faddish blasphemies one might hear elsewhere. All three, respectively, have suffered persecution under the Turks and Latins, the Communists,

Russian Christians were persecuted by Latins? Arab Christians by communists? (I definitely agree about the Greeks and the Turks)

In Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East bishops and priests have frequently condemned the killing and called for peaceful working out of differences. They have been decimated with the rest of the Christian population, which was once substantial.

Just as the Christian Palestinians are driven out of the Holy Land, to the thunderous ‘Amens!’ of America’s “Christian” leadership.

If all the world’s Christians apotasize to the war gospel, save one, I continue to believe in Christ; for He promised to be with the Church till the end of the age. He also said You will answer for every word you speak. God is not mocked, neither is His faith impugned. God is not under judgment, man is.

I believe fidelity is a great virtue. Whether it’s to your spouse or your God. It says a lot about a person’s charactor. Also, perhaps not ironically, your iron words of piety sound a lot like the Muslims with whom I’ve bantered with here. Their fidelity to God is also non-negotiable, and set in stone, as I suppose, it should be. Otherwise, what’s the point?

World war and pandemic advance to the gates of great Babylon. Let the just love God and their neighbor.

I remember reading where Vicky Weaver used to write letters to someone in the federal gov. calling ZOG the ‘Great Babylon’. It turned out that the Great Babylon/ZOG ended up proving her all too right.

This photo was taken right after ZOG’s goons murdered Vicky’s son Sam.

It’s been called, (I think poignantly) America’s Pieta.

The JW’s are poor, humble and strictly nonviolent, reject all idols, including “flags” “anthems” and “nations”, preach the gospel everywhere, await end of the world every day, accept no compromise and are always ready to die for their faith.

    Exactly like the first Christians.

Something tells me that you are not in a hurry to join them.

  86. @Rurik

Thanks so much for your reflections and “America’s Pieta,” an unforgettable image.

May not have used the greatest syntax in the sentence on persecution. The word “respectively” was meant to refer to the Greeks under the Latins and Turks, Russians the Communists, Arabs the ZiMurkans.

The Vicki Weaver photo is a heart-breaker. The FBI sniper got off after several prosecutions, at the judge’s (arbitrary?) discretion. At least the tragedy led to some reforms in the use of deadly force.

His assassination of a mom holding her baby to me is symbolic of ‘Murka’s destruction of innocence at home and abroad. It is the deification of the ‘Murkan Kriegsstaat, a river of tears that rages through the Middle East, our own baleful Euphrates.

without so called ‘Christian zionism’ the world would be a better place. those so called Christian Zionists are the most war like people on the planet!

I do agree with that. A lot of the evil and stupidity and US Foreign policy over the past half century has been driven by crazy right-wing Christians.

It’s not just the out-and-out Christian Zionists. There was a time when Christianity was a force for good in the world but that has never been true of American Protestantism. American Protestantism has always had an edge of madness to it. A missionary zeal to tell other people how to live, and to tell other nations how to live. I guess it’s the Puritan influence, Puritanism being the most dangerous and pernicious of all Christian heresies (and the most insane).

At first I didn’t think this was a plot to oust Trump (I’m not republican, btw), but now I’m wondering big time.

If it’s a plot to oust Trump how come we’re seeing the same hysteria in every country?

Some conspiracy theories are so crazy it’s hard to know how anyone can swallow them.

My problem with conspiracy theories is that so many people on the Right are no longer capable of thinking except in terms of conspiracy theories.

Mass media always creates hysteria when there’s a crisis. That’s the nature of mass media. Social media is even worse. Governments and bureaucrats in the liberal democracies always bungle their responses to a crisis. That’s the nature of liberal democratic governments and bureaucrats. Scientists always disagree wildly on these things because they hate to admit they don’t really understand what’s going on. The public always panics. Cynical politicians on both sides try to make political capital out of crises. That’s the corrupt nature of liberal democratic politics.

You don’t need to assume a plot in order to understand what is happening with this virus.

There seems to be a huge increase in the amount of people, even right wingers, demanding socialism and nationalisation as a result of the coronavirus panic. In the UK people seem to be literally begging for the government to spend vast sums of money on keeping businesses afloat, and giving everyone a “basic income”, taking control of supply chains, putting military on the streets, etc.

Even outlets like the Daily Mail are advocating for this yet only a few months ago during the election they were vehemently against anything even vaguely “socialist” and were claiming that Corbyn would destroy Britain with his “socialist” policies and turn this country into Venezuela. It’s interesting how people only believe in capitalism during the “good times”, it seems the second things go bad and the future starts to looking somewhat uncertain, people start rallying behind socialism/communism, even many of the people who were previously extremely opposed to it.

  90. I’m not a fan of Christian Zionism, but Christian Zionists are not driving U.S. foreign policy, or anything else. These people lose every issue they support, from abortion to school prayer, so it’s obvious that they are not the power behind the throne! The leaders are guilty of misleading their flocks, being frauds, and supporting evil, but they are not the driving force behind anything beyond their movement.

His assassination of a mom holding her baby to me is symbolic of ‘Murka’s destruction of innocence at home and abroad.

And the reason they murdered her, was because she knew their nature, and told them so right to their fiendish faces.

They decided to prove her right.

Not she’s a saint and a martyr, just like her son Sam, and all those people who ZOG burned alive at Waco.

Now they’ve gone full-blown Moloch, and are murdering and assassinating and displacing untold millions upon millions of innocents.

Perhaps SeekerofthePresence, if some small measure of inconvenience from the virus comes to the people of France, I pray they might take a moment to ponder what they did to the people of Libya.

It looks like the virus is an act of God, but what France did to Libya, was an act of deliberate human malevolence.

And if the people of America have to suffer a little shortages and heavy-handed edicts, they might, after all – finally consider what they’ve done – though their bovine complicity, to millions of Iraqis and Afghans and Libyans and Syrians and Russians and Ukrainians and many, many more.

I see recently a wedding hose was arrested for breaking the quarantine.

How would they feel if instead a drone missile blew the bride and her family into little bits of flesh and blood, spattered all over the garden?

How would these Americans, (who have trouble getting toilet paper), feel if they had no more home of even village left to go home to? And their relatives murdered wholesale, because a fiend/zio-American government/military decided they were somehow inconvenient to its wider agenda of horrors writ large over entire swaths of the planet?

It wasn’t a virus that did this to their lives

but rather a deliberate act of their own government’s policy using their tax dollars to pay for the weapons..

    And why?

Out of pure, raw hatred for mankind, and fiend’s bloodlust for Absolute Power.

Vicky Weaver understood them all too well.

The people of Libya and Syria and D0nbas understand them as well.

Hopefully, if the virus ever manages to upset the American people’s insouciance (as PCR puts it), they too might consider the contrast between their inconvenience, and the millions upon millions of lives their own governments have deliberately, and with malice – sent reeling into a literal Hell on earth.

Capitalism, like fire, has uses and kept under strict control can be very useful. However, while it has many good features, compassion, fellow feeling, sympathy, honesty, good neighbourliness, conscience, long-term planning, care for the environment, society and humanity are not among them. When a crisis comes this lack becomes starkly apparent. Witness the way that China tackled the challenge posed by the virus and the way that the UK and the USA responded to it. Whether the sheeple in either country will see the significance of the difference is another matter. No doubt the MSM will be working hard to obscure the lesson.
