Some polls now have Joe Biden running ahead of Donald Trump by 10 points and sweeping the battleground states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. This vindicates the strategy Biden’s advisers have adopted:

Confine Joe to his basement, no press conferences. Trot him out to recite carefully scripted messages for the cameras. Then lead him back to his stall.

This enables Biden to avoid the blazing questions that are dividing not only Democrats and Republicans but liberals and leftists. And most of these issues touch on the explosive subject of race.

Consider. California’s legislature just voted to put to a statewide ballot in November a return to the racial preferences that were banned as discriminatory in a statewide referendum, 25 years ago.

The proposal would reverse the 1995 constitutional amendment, approved by 55% of voters, which outlawed “preferential treatment” based on “race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin.”

If the measure carries, California returns to a racial spoils system.

Race preferences are being pushed because they are needed to bring about greater representation of Blacks and Hispanics in the student bodies of elite schools of the state university system like UCLA and the University of California, Berkeley.

Asian students are today “overrepresented” in these prestigious schools, because of their superior test scores.

Where does Biden stand on anti-Asian discrimination?

Earlier this June, the California Assembly voted to establish a task force to make recommendations for reparations for slavery.

Now, California did not enter the Union until 1850, and slavery was outlawed in the state constitution, though several thousand slaves were brought there during the 1849 Gold Rush.

Where does Biden stand on reparations for slavery?

Many of the recent protests in the wake of George Floyd’s death have involved the desecration and destruction of monuments.

What does Biden think about tearing down statues of Christopher Columbus and Robert E. Lee? Where does Biden stand on destroying statues of Presidents Washington, Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Lincoln, Grant and Theodore Roosevelt?

What did Biden think of the removal of the statue of Caesar Rodney, Delaware statesman and slave owner, who, despite a grave illness, rode to Philadelphia to sign Jefferson’s Declaration of Independence and cast his lot with the American Revolution?

Understandably, Biden would prefer not having to choose between Caesar Rodney and BLM.

Black men are arrested and incarcerated more often than whites because of the systemic racism of law enforcement officials, we are told.

Does Biden believe white cops are congenital racists?

In the great cities where the killing of Black men is today all too common, the regimes that have ruled them for decades have been almost wholly Democratic.

Does Biden believe there is systemic racism in the ruling circles of all these Democratic-run cities?

Over the last month, there has been an explosion of shootings and killings. In Chicago, over Memorial Day, 84 people were shot, 24 mortally.

Last weekend in Chicago, 106 people were shot and 14 killed. New York City is experiencing the worst shooting violence in a quarter century.

Is there systemic racism in the police departments of our great cities? Again, who has been running those cities, if not Democrats?

Is there inequality in wealth between Black and white America because of systemic racism? If so, why did that inequality persist through two terms of our first Black president, with Biden as his VP?

Does Biden believe, with Elizabeth Warren, in wealth taxes on the rich and wealth transfers to close the Black-white wealth gap?

Is there systemic racism in American media?

Our dominant media institutions include The Washington Post, New York Times, ABC, CBS and NBC. All are controlled by liberals.

Is there systemic racism in our great universities and colleges? Yet, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, and the rest of the Ivy League have long been run by an entrenched liberal elite.

Is our huge federal workforce permeated by racism?

Though African Americans are 13% of the U.S. population, they occupy 18% of all federal jobs.

Is there systemic racism in our public schools? Who controls the teachers unions? Who fills almost all of the teaching positions?

Is there systemic racism in California? If so, who is at fault? The governor, both senators, both houses of the legislature, all statewide offices, and 46 of 53 U.S. House seats in California are held by Democrats.

ORDER IT NOW

If Biden emerges, then he will have to answer why all these institutions where his party and people are predominant — the media, Hollywood, the academic community, public schools, big-city governments, the big foundations, the federal bureaucracy — are apparently shot through with systemic racism after decades of Democratic dominance.

And, more precisely, what he intends to do about it.

Perhaps it’s better to shelter in place in the basement.

Great article, Sir. His advisers have told him to hide. And let him hide.

Trump has a bad habit of shooting from the hip and using street language. He needs to stay of Twitter. He needs to run his desired statements by advisers, and let them refine/revise it or talk him out of it and then the spokesperson can then tweet it for him or issue the statements for him.

It is inappropriate for the US President to tweet himself. It is like him doing his own laundry.

Once Biden is selected by his party, Trump can attack show photos of him fondling girls, his demented and bizarre statements, his and his son’s looting of Ukraine, etc.

DOJ needs to break up Google, Twitter, Amazon and Trump also needs to do all he can to ban discrimination against conservatives by the tech companies.

No, the next Most Important Election Ever is barely four months away, so people need to be fired up with transgender statues and Confederate bathrooms to vote Red or Blue.

They will bring in more immigrants, continuing to force down wages and increase taxes for more of their wild social engineering schemes as well as to pay off blacks with some kind of “reparations ” bill. Yes, I know all the very good arguments against the repubs, but they are still far better than what the dems offer.

Trump blurts out many ideas favored by his nationalist base. But where is his follow-up? It’s been nonexistent.

Last night Tucker Carlson blasted Trump for the very same things. He said that Trump should banish his campaign advisors to the basement (he specifically named 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale) where they can cause him no harm. The main issue now, and for the rest of the campaign, needs to be centered on stopping the anarchist rebellions designed to end the Republic and drive Trump from office. If it entails imposing the Insurrection Act and federalizing the National Guard, so be it. Let the democrat governors and anti-Trump media cry all they want. The majority want to see an end to the rioting and looting.

Leaders who do not show strength in times of rebellion are not re-elected. I’m opposed to what Lincoln did to save the Union, but he was a man of strength. So were Andrew Jackson and Teddy Roosevelt, two favorites of Trump. Sadly, up to now Trump has been all bark and no bite, and the clock is ticking.

Do not let the polls fool you.

TRUMP IS AHEAD BECAUSE OF HIS HIGHLY SKILLED TWEETING

Trump deftly manipulated the SJW Globalist DNC into open support for civic disorder. Team Blue owns the damage caused by the Floyd riots and Seattle occupation. Employment is down, revenues are down, expenses are up, and Seattle is now going to be sued out of existence: (1)

The plaintiffs argue that city leadership is responsible for allowing violence, shootings, assaults, noise pollution, and property damage to take place in the roughly six blocks of occupied streets.

“The City’s policies have effectively authorized the actions of the CHOP participants. The City has communicated clearly to CHOP participants that they may indefinitely continue occupying the streets in the area, maintaining their barricades, and blocking traffic, all without interference from the City,” the lawsuit alleges.

The riots and occupation will be memory in a few weeks. In November the story will be months of Blue Voters suffering in failing Blue Cities under SJW Globalist DNC mayors. And, because of Trump’s 3-D Tweet Chess skills, there is no way for the Democrats to shift the blame.

    PEACE 😇

This disturbing shift to the fringe left is something I would never have predicted in the mid 1990’s. At that time the nation was turning against affirmative action and unafraid to deal with black crime. Even the Republican party held out the prospect of abolishing it in the run up to their historic 1994 electoral victories before chickening out like always.

Where does Biden stand on anti-Asian discrimination?

Of course, conservatives care nothing about whites being discriminated against. Whites are 60% of the population but only 20% of the student body at Harvard and a few other ivy league schools. Asians are 5% of the population yet comprise 15% of the student body, so it’s real obvious who’s being discriminated against.

Now the Democrats want to get rid of the debates which is understandable since Biden would just drool and stutter the whole time about corn pop and hairy legs.

If the measure carries, California returns to a racial spoils system.

    good!

Where does Biden stand on destroying statues of Presidents Washington, Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Lincoln, Grant and Theodore Roosevelt?

that is an hilarious question, and sort of goes to the heart of the matter..

Does Biden believe, with Elizabeth Warren, in wealth taxes on the rich and wealth transfers to close the Black-white wealth gap?

Now Pat, was that perhaps a bit of ‘slight of hand?

Wealth taxes on the uber-rich, are a good thing, whereas reparations (race-based taxes on middle and working class whites) are not. Please don’t comingle these separate issues. One is a very good idea (in this era of .01% mass-looting of the economy), and the other a catastrophic wedge to sow hatred and division.

One can only imagine how frustrating it must be for Pat, not feeling free to use the ((echoes)), when referring to the ((liberals)) controlling the media, and the ((liberal elite)) controlling the universities.

    {in case you’re wondering Pat, yes- it is very liberating to be able to write freely outside the ((strict strictures)) of “respectable” journalism ; }

The tone of this article is one of cold, amused mockery, and I enjoyed it.

And, more precisely, what he intends to do about it.

I remember reading something once from a Jewish writter speaking about the post Russian revolution, and how in Tsarist Russia, when a Christian and a Jew were walking past each other, in Tsarist Russia, it was the Jew who was expected to step aside. But after the revolution, it was the Christian who was expected to stand aside.

I remember at the time wondering, ‘why does either have to stand aside?’ But that was when I was young and naïve and didn’t understand Jewish supremacy.

What they want, and what Biden is going to have to demarcate, and then champion- is that we now live in a New Time. A time of racial reflection and national soul-searching. A time of repudiation for the evils of the past and present. A time of penance, and comeuppance.

No longer is America going to be a Euro-centric society, giving praise to slave owners, colonizers and oppressors, past- and present.

2021 America is going to be the year of the Great Reckoning. For far, far too long has America and its white denizens enjoyed their privilege on the backs and persecution of people of color.”

    blah, blah..

But that is what Joe Biden has to give words to. That is the lesson of George Floyd and BLM and all the untold blacks lynched past and present.

From now on, when a black and a white cross paths, it won’t be a mutual nod that’s expected, but rather a perfunctory gesture of genuflection from the white. Sort of the way the Indians during the Raj were expected to genuflect to a Brit, now all in reversed- in the Great Reckoning.

Now white people are to symbolically kneel (with lowered eyes and contrite body language), every time they encounter a person of color (especially black) whether at work, out shopping, or just passing each other on the sidewalk.

This is what Joe Biden has to give meaning to, and hail as our collective New Society; built upon justice, not racism. LGBT Pride, not privilege. Righting historical wrongs, not continuing them. Uplifting the persecuted and marginalized, not their oppressors.

Perhaps someone from Joe’s campaign might even read this column, and decide to borrow some of Rurik’s talking points for Joe’s upcoming speeches.

Don’t get me wrong, whites are discriminated against too, but the legacy children of the well connected rich and powerful, who donate tens of thousands to their alma mater, get in when they don’t deserve it. You want to make it sound like Buchanan supports the establishment. He is one of a few people who have pushed the anti-immigration and anti-war ideas the most, but sure.

A third party candidate. Funny. It doesn’t take much to realize why this would never work. There is a reason Trump ran within the Republican Party. And why Bernard Sanders ran within the Democrat Party instead of as an independent or a member of some communist party.

Buchanan knows this. And for that you claim he supports the establishment. The duopoly!

That’s true but still doesn’t change the fact that non-elite academically gifted whites are being prevented from attending the Ivy League or other universities of their choice due to the color of their skin. When white men founded the Ivy League something’s seriously wrong when they are underrepresented in the student body by a factor of 3.

Asians care only about Asians. They aren’t preoccupied with and sentimental about whites being discriminated against in higher education admissions at universities they founded and built, so I don’t see why you and others feel the need to champion their cause with regards to affirmative action at the Ivy League.
