Donald Trump “appeals to racism.”

“[F]rom the beginning … his campaign has profited from voter prejudice and hatred” and represents an “authoritarian assault upon democracy.”

If Speaker Paul Ryan wishes to be “on the right side of history … he must condemn Mr. Trump clearly and comprehensively. The same goes for every other Republican leader.”

“Maybe that would split the (Republican) party,” but, “No job is worth the moral stain that would come from embracing (Trump). No party is worth saving at the expense of the country.”

If Republican leaders wish to be regarded as moral, every one of them must renounce Trump, even if it means destroying their party.

Who has laid down this moral mandate? The Holy Father in Rome?

No. The voice posturing as the conscience of America is The Washington Post, which champions abortion on demand and has not, in the memory of this writer, endorsed any Republican for president — though it did endorse Marion Barry three times for mayor of D.C.

Anticipating the Post’s orders, Sen. Marco Rubio has been painting Trump as a “scam artist” and “con artist,” with an “orange” complexion, a “spray tan” and “tiny hands,” who is “unfit to lead the party of Lincoln and Reagan.”

The establishment is loving Rubio, and the networks are giving him more airtime. And Rubio is reciprocating, promising that, even if defeated in his home state of Florida on March 15, he will drive his pickup across the country warning against the menace of Trump.

Rubio, however, seems not to have detected the moral threat of Trump, until polls showed Rubio being wiped out on Super Tuesday and in real danger of losing Florida.

Mitt Romney has also suddenly discovered what a fraud and phony is the businessman-builder whose endorsement he so avidly sought and so oleaginously accepted in Las Vegas in 2012.

Before other Republicans submit to the ultimatum of the Post, and of the columnists and commentators pushing a “Never Trump” strategy at the Cleveland convention, they should ask themselves: For whom is it that they will be bringing about party suicide?

That the Beltway elites, whose voice is the Post, hate and fear Trump is not only undeniable, it is understandable.

The Post beat the drums for the endless Mideast wars that bled and near bankrupted the country. Trump will not start another.

The Post welcomes open borders that bring in millions to continue the endless expansion of the welfare state and to change the character of the country we grew up in. Trump will build the wall, and repatriate those here illegally.

Trump threatens the trade treaties that enable amoral transnational corporations to ship factories and jobs overseas to produce cheaply abroad and be rid of American employees who are ever demanding better wages and working conditions.

What does the Post care about trade deals that deindustrialize America when the advertising dollars of the big conglomerates that benefit are what Big Media fat and happy?

The political establishment in Washington depends on Wall Street and K Street for PAC money and campaign contributions. Wall Street and K Street depend on the political establishment to protect their right to abandon America for the greener pastures abroad.

Before March 15, when Florida and Ohio vote and the fates of Rubio and Gov. John Kasich are decided, nothing is likely to stop the ferocious infighting of the primaries.

But after March 15, the smoke will have cleared.

ORDER IT NOW

If Trump has fallen short of a glide path to the nomination, the war goes on. But if Trump seems to be the near-certain nominee, it will be a time for acceptance, a time for a ceasefire in this bloodiest of civil wars in the GOP.

Otherwise, the party will kick away any chance of keeping Hillary Clinton out of the White House, and perhaps kick away its future as well.

While the depth and rancor of the divisions in the party are apparent, so also is the opportunity. For the turnout in the Republican primaries and caucuses has not only exceeded expectations, it has astonished and awed political observers.

A new “New Majority” has been marching to the polls and voting Republican, a majority unlike any seen since the 49-state landslides of the Nixon and Reagan eras.

If this energy can be maintained, if those throngs of Republican voters can be united in the fall, then the party can hold Congress, capture the While House and reconstitute the Supreme Court.

Come the ides of March, the GOP is going to be in need of its uniters and its statesmen. But today, all Republicans should ask themselves:

Are these folks coming out in droves to vote Republican really the bigoted, hateful and authoritarian people of the Post’s depiction?

Or is this not the same old Post that has poured bile on conservatives for generations, now in a panic that America’s destiny may be torn away from it and restored to its rightful owners?

Patrick J. Buchanan is the author of the new book “The Greatest Comeback: How Richard Nixon Rose From Defeat to Create the New Majority.”

  1. While I’ve traditionally opposed many of Mr. Buchanan’s views, I’ve come to support him on the fundamental issues of anti- militarism and trade which ‘trump’ all other issues, since our survival is dependent upon us not getting into nuclear war with Russia over defense of el qaeda barbarians, the view threatened by Hillary and GOP neocons, and our health, safety and prosperity is dependent upon us not being subject to “trade agreements” which allow private arbitrators to decide whether we have hormones in our milk or whether companies can shut down and move to slave wage third world locations.
Trump seems to be right on these two key issues and the attacks on him by the lamestream media and by establishment lackeys are based more on the fact that he is not under the control of the corporate power structure. Though incidents occur at his meetings and though he has made some “politically incorrect” statements, I think that much of the reaction to him by the power structure is based on the fact he won’t play by the rules. Since the overthrow of Khaddafi engineered by Hillary has created a failed state largely run by el qaeda type barbarians, the fear of the power structure is that she will face a candidate who can truthfully attack her bad judgment and war crimes on this issue.

  2. Thirdeye says:

The “new majority” is independent and doesn’t give a rat’s ass if something is called liberal, conservative, or socialist. The Trump voters are part of it. The Sanders voters are the other part of it.

  3. The racism quote in the opening sentence is the key. The fact is, what terrifies the DC Establishment et al. is that Donald Trump appeals mostly to white people. An energized group of white people pose a genuine threat to the continued dominance of the governing establishment in a way that blacks, Hispanics, Asians, etc. cannot. It’s the reason that ethnonationalist parties in Europe are so demonized–they have the power to actually change things. Donald Trump, perhaps unwittingly, has awakened white racial consciousness and no one knows where it may lead.

I’m reminded of Japanese naval commander Isoroku Yamamoto’s reported quote in the aftermath of Pearl Harbor: “I fear that we have awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve.”

    Long live the Trumpening!

  4. TheJester says:

The Trump phenomenon and the deafness on the part of the Republican establishment reminds me of the demise of the Whigs and the emergence of a new Republican Party in the 1850s. The current Republican establishment has clearly laid bare that they are now just as irrelevant. Rubio for President … who is kidding whom?

Deny Trump his nomination and I predict a revolt on the part of Republican voters. They will write in Trump’s name or Trump will accede to the rancor and run as an independent … perhaps as the standard-bearer of a new party. We’ve needed that new party for a very long time.

  5. @Diversity Heretic

Yep. The level of fear and anger from the establishment – both Dems and GOP – is simply too emotional to be just about policy differences. They recognize that Trump is a rallying point for whites, that he is showing them that they can fight back, that they can demand that their country – their people – not be thrown into the dustbin of history.

This has always been the great fear of the establishment (particularly, of course, the Jews), which is why they have been working for decades to marginalize whites. Now, with their goal so very close, whites are waking up – if only a bit. TPTB know that racially aware and galvonized whites are their ultimate enemy. They will burn down the GOP before they will let such whites take over.

And why shouldn’t they. Destroy the GOP, keep whites down and wait it out. It’s a winning long-term strategy. TPTB can pick up the pieces later. The demographics are moving in their favor. Whites will slowly fall as a percentage of the population. Trump will die or just go away sooner or later. At that point, it’s business as usual.

  7. I’m a Trump supporter. Everything the Post says about Trump they are saying about me. Trump’s enemies are my enemies. And here’s the thing Washington Post. I am not a Republican. You are making new enemies among Democrats and Independents. When this election is over we will still be your enemies. I’m pretty sure you will reap the whirlwind.

The level of fear and anger from the establishment – both Dems and GOP – is simply too emotional to be just about policy differences.

This is a heck of a lot clearer to me using the template of religion to understand it.

The two-party oligopoly is simply a religion without a god (Buddhism is similarly a religion without a god.) Democracy and Equality are its fundamental dogmas, Lincoln & FDR its saints and its sacraments include War is Peace, Slavery is Freedom and Ignorance is Strength.

War to spread democracy and equality to all the Earth’s peoples.
Open Borders to welcome all who desire the sacraments.

And an Empire of Debt to pay for it all.

And Poe’s Law proves this theocracy has its Satan, too… Adolph H.

Trump (and Trumpism) isn’t the competition. It is blasphemy and heresy. No wonder they foam at the mouth in apoplexy and call him [Satan] and his supporters [Satanists.]

  9. @WorkingClass

People who end up working for (and managing, owning and running) News organs don’t give a rat’s ass about you. “Let them eat cake” is their response to any criticism you may make.

The progressive agenda will not tolerate conservative ideals. In the tradition of Struass, Bauer, Marx and the other nihilists, the old edifice must be criticized and torn down to make way for the march to the man-god of the progressive dream.

Neocons have the disease, no surprise considering their Pragmatist/Marxist roots.

“What’s stale? To disregard conventions, even the most innocent is not stale; on the contrary, to the disgrace of every one, so far it’s a novelty,” the girl-student answered instantly, darting forward on her chair. “Besides, there are no innocent conventions,” she added with intensity.

  12. BobX [AKA "Bob who~wishes he had done more for PJB"] says:

Rubio has used ‘the children of the Reagan revolution’ line, but Bush the elder turned such out long ago with the Reagan men. In 92 & 96 PJB tried to reclaim it, but sad to say it was not to be and then he went off the rails 2000 in his despair at what the party of Reagan had become. Reagan was a man and flawed as are all such not a saint, but at that he stands head and shoulders above those that came after. The best we have had in my lifetime. Rubio & Cruz are nothing of that revolution.

What Trump has like Reagan is a clear vision of where we are at, and where we may yet go if we shake off the vultures that are happy to see us wither and get rich feeding from the carcass. I will hope & pray that he does such, and forgive him his trespasses.

  13. @dc.sunsets

Agreed. I decided long ago that the Cult of Equality was the new state religion, believed deeply by both Dems and GOP.

This is why discussing racial differences is the kiss of death socially. It’d be like trashing on Jesus at a part in the 16th century. It wouldn’t go over well.

The thing is that the Cult of Equality is going to run up against genetic research sooner or later. Granted, the church elders will suppress and harass that research quite effectively for a long time, but facts are hard to stop, even if they take a couple of decades.

Stop exaggerating. The wars cost a trillion dollars. GDP is 17 trillion dollars. The whole thing cost about 5-6% of GDP. That does not bankrupt the country. 5 thousand troops were lost but to put that in perspective about 40,000 die every year from auto accidents.

The overthrow of Iran and possible WW3 with Russia are also on the agenda.

    2. To keep the FED money printing debt machine and Wall Street casino of financial instruments an high-frequency trading coursing-on uninterrupted, extracting whatever is left of value out of the non-parasitic classes.

    3. To grant amnesty to millions of illegals, opening the borders to all comers in the name of anti-Racism, with the real purpose being to put a steak in the heart of White America, making Whites a minority and the United States into a multicultural paradise-cum-hellhole of coffee-colore 90IQ proles ruled-over by a Jewish elite and their moneyed sycophantic shabbos goyim 1%ers.

How ironic, Patrick Buchanan used to be the so-called ‘Republican Establishment’ not long ago. Now, he is complaining because he has been shunned by the pro-Israel group for criticizing Barack Obama for sponsoring an Israel’s proxy war against Syrian president Bashar al-Assad.

On February 28, 2014, Patrick J. Buchanan wrote a post on his blog, entitled ‘Intervene? Or End Syrian War?, in which he said that Jewish Lobby which is crying for American military intervention (no fly zone or military boots) in Syria on the so-called “moral obligation” – is not good for the US interests in the region. He also said that since Israel, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states are calling for American intervention in Syria – shouldn’t they be sending their armies as part of their “moral obligations” to invade Syria.

“And if there is a “moral” obligation to intervene, why does it not apply to Israel and Turkey, Syria’s nearest neighbors? Why does that moral duty not apply to the European Union, upon whose doorstep Syria sits? Why is it America’s moral obligation, 5,000 miles away?,” asks Buchanan.

If forced-feeding and forced-marriage are wrong, forced-love is also wrong. Honest hate is better than forced love. Seek divorce from forced marriage with what you hate.

PC is forced marriage of whites with all the peoples and things that harm them. And whites are forced to love what harms them, hates them, and mocks them. This is what Forced Integration and massive immigration are about.

It’s like being stuck in a marriage that cannot be broken off.

If hate is so bad, then divorce should be made illegal since it is the product of a couple coming to hate one another. But the fact is some couples really do come to hate one another.

If love is so good, then people should be FORCED to love one another even when there is no real love.

PC is about forced/arranged marriage that white masses cannot say NO to.

But forced or coerced love isn’t real love.

Also, hate can be liberating. Eastern Europeans hated being part of the Soviet-dominated Empire. They hated Russian occupation and were glad to seek divorce from it. US got its start by the hatred that the Founders felt for the British Monarchy and Colonialism.

But globo Jews are now acting like that nut Rev. Mhoon and arranging massive weddings of Europeans and Third World masses through massive immigration and migration. Well, at least the nutty Mhoonies volunteered for these nutty pre-arranged mass weddings, but Europeans have no say in what Soros and Merkel have in mind for them. Forced love isn’t real love.

Just like Eastern Europeans used the liberating power of Hate to say NO to Russians and told Russians to go home, it’s about time white folks around the world lit the fire of Honest Hate and told Globalists and Collaborator Traitors to go to hell and burn in hell.

Being free to hate is million times more valuable than being forced to love. Forced love is essentially rape, and the Rape of White Race must end.

Besides, who says you have to LOVE anyone? If a Jew is sitting over there and if a Palestinian is sitting over there, and if they hate one another, fine. I don’t want to FORCE them to love one another. Now, it’d be nice if they can learn to understand one another, but if they can’t and if they hate one another, they should be free to.
And there is no reason why whites should be forced to love Jews, blacks, Muslims, Asians, etc.

Lawrence O’Donnell despises Mormonism and Mormons. He hates them. He hates them as much as ‘anti-semites’ hated Jews. OKAY. I don’t say anyone should be forced to love Mormons. I find the religion pretty kooky and ridiculous myself.
But in the US, we are not allowed to feel the same way about Jews, homos, and Negroes even though they’ve caused a lot more problems than kooky Mormons.
We MUST LOVE Jews, Negroes, and homos no matter what to do or what they mean to us.
But was it the Mormons who destroyed the Middle East and started new cold war with Russia? Did Mormons destroy the Palestinian people? Do Mormons go around raping and looting all across America? Do Mormons degrade public education by turning it into homo propaganda? (O Donnell attacks Mormonism for being ‘racist’ and not having welcomed blacks until 1978, but who says a religion has to accept all peoples? Jewish religion and Hinduism are exclusive too?)

    Video Link

Anyway, I’m fine with O’Donnell hating Mormonism, its creed, its founders, and its followers. I say if he honestly hates that stuff, fine. But for some reason, we are not allowed to honestly certain peoples who do us great harm.

Hate need not last forever. If a couple divorces and go separate ways, their hate may abate in time. Sometimes, hate and separation are the best cure for conflict. Once separated, they can come to respect one another again.

It’s like there’s peace between Turkey and Greece since Turks no longer rule over Greeks. And there’s peace between Britain and India since Brits no longer rule over India. But there was hatred against British among Indians during British Imperialism, and it was this hate that led to Indian Liberation.

Likewise, it is about time white Americans began to feel some hatred and sought divorce from the hideous globalists who’ve only duped and exploited them for nefarious interests that actually did them great harm.

End of empire did wonders for world peace, but globalist Jews are trying to mix up entire populations once again since Jewish power is essentially globalist than nationalist, thus it is imperial in nature, and minority imperial overlords rely on using ‘divide and rule’ strategy among the diverse subjects who, in mutual conflict with one another, fail to unite against the imperial overlords.

Why is the Boss of the Federal Reserve always Jewish ?

The US is a giant without a own will. The real decision-makers are not politicians, are not elected :
(Medias,Banks,Rating Agencies,Investment-Banks,NGO’s,Councils,Leagues,ThinkTanks, Lobby-Groups like AIPAC , Billionairs like Murdoch and Soros etc.)

But there is a miscalculation in their plan.Democracy and Demography is only a matter of majorities – and the Islam is growing very fast.In Europe it will take about 40 years until it is lost and the “original crew” is changed. The future of the Europeans is fading, a lost continent who becomes daily more a Province of Asia and Arabia.Supported by Saudi-Arabia and Turks who are behind the new colonisation and do what their Book is telling them – turning the World in their kind of green believing.

US has turned since the 80’s from a Democracy into a Plutocracy.
It is time that the average citizen becomes a voice and reduces the illegal power from the rich Plutocracy Establishment.
The Power belongs to the people – not to the rich and most influential.

Real Democracy is like Switzerland – the average citizen is asked in every important case.

A half-century of enabling racist mass-rape, murder, and assaults against whites that has seen tens of thousands dead, hundreds of thousands raped, and tens of millions assaulted (Google “The U.S. Race War of Black Against White by Paul Sheehan”). Many of these victims have been children. The Post lied and children died, that’s the bottom line on the morality of the war criminals at the Washington Post. Give criticism from such a source its proper moral weight.

George Clooney or Looney says Trump is a ‘xenophobic fascist’. (In truth, I’m the only true fascist, and nationalism isn’t ‘xenophobia’. Nationalism is ethno- or geno-protection, the opposite of genocide. Globalists are ethnophobes who hate the idea of culture, history, identity, and nation.)

Super-rich whites like George Looney can afford to talk ‘generous’ and pretend to care about Sudanese and travel around the world with the likes of Bono and act the celebrity saints while living in giant mansions, making 20 million per movie, and staying in five star hotels.

But when working class Americans want some job security and border control in a globalizing world of endless scab immigration/migration and globo-Zionist war-mongering, they are demeaned as ‘xenophobic racists’ supporting a ‘fascist’.

The moral narcissism of the globo-Liberal elites is hilarious.
This is why humanist fascism is the only thing that will work. Humanist fascism is the only real force that can take on globo-elitism dominated by the GLOB

Also, nationalism is best since, when used properly, it is anti-imperialist. It says every nation should defend itself and mind its own business. But globalism is a form of imperialism, and it uses the homo agenda as ‘moral’ weapon to attack the cultures and values of other nations. Homo flag is the victory flag of Globo-supremacism. And Clooney is just a Hollywood dog of the Studio moguls who support nationalism for Israel but globalist destruction for Palestinians, Europeans, and American working class folks.

Racism is present to some degree everywhere, but in Israel it exists deep within the spirit of the laws. It’s taught in schools and colleges, spread in the media, and above all and most dreadful, in Israel the racists do not know what they’re doing, and because of this, feel in no way obliged to apologize. This absence of a need for self-justification has made Israel a particular prized reference point for many movements of the far right throughout the world, movements whose past history of anti-Semitism is only too well known.”

Wait, so those whites who merely hate lower class whites who support Trump are “anti-white”? That’s it? That’s the definition, or a part of it?

Is it not reasonable to assume that those whites who despise their fellow whites who trump Trump are merely opposed for factors other than race? How in the world then will whites unite against non-whites in the future Battle Royale for our country when whites apparently are conflicted as to what is and what is not white?
