At the start of French Revolution, Bertrand Barère declared, “The revolutions of a barbarous people destroy all monuments, and the very trace of the arts seems to be effaced. The revolutions of an enlightened people conserve the fine arts, and embellish them […]”

Soon after, though, thousands of French statues were wrecked, and many heads tumbled into baskets. Barère, “The tree of liberty grows only when watered by the blood of tyrants.” The Anacreon of the Guillotine was lucky to escape with his own noggin.

Again, the defeated must watch impotently as their heroes are decapitated or come crashing down. At least they still have their own necks, for the moment, at least.

Washington, Jefferson, Grant and Francis Scott Key have been toppled, and even a likeness of Cervantes had red paint splashed on its eyes. “BASTARD” was scrawled on its pedestal. The woke vandal didn’t know that here was no conquistador or slave owner, but a slave of five years, not to mention a seminal writer in the Western canon.

Ah, but “seminal,” “Western” and “canon” are evil words now, you see, so maybe he did know, for this is, at bottom, an assault on every pillar, brick, cornice and baseboard of Western civilization. Burn it all down, for it is uniquely racist, sexist, genocidal and transphobic. I mean, for thousands of years, evil whites absolutely resisted the installation of all-gender shit holes.

Shut up already, and listen to Susan Sontag, “If America is the culmination of Western white civilization, as everyone from the Left to the Right declares, then there must be something terribly wrong with Western white civilization. This is a painful truth; few of us want to go that far…. The truth is that Mozart, Pascal, Boolean algebra, Shakespeare, parliamentary government, baroque churches, Newton, the emancipation of women, Kant, Marx, Balanchine ballets, et al, don’t redeem what this particular civilization has wrought upon the world. The white race is the cancer of human history; it is the white race and it alone—its ideologies and inventions—which eradicates autonomous civilizations wherever it spreads, which has upset the ecological balance of the planet, which now threatens the very existence of life itself.”

Later, Sontag regretted offending cancer patients with her poor choice of metaphor.

It’s essential that we be exorcised from “dead white men.” I remember when this idiotic term started to circulate. I had just dropped out of art school. While drinking Rolling Rock in smoky McGlinchey’s in Philadelphia, I told another art fag that he should know his art history, for how can you do anything if you have no idea what’s been achieved? Leering, this cipher smugly growled, “They’re just dead white men, man!”

In 2015, I taught for a semester at Leipzig University, so nearly each day, I’d walk by a hideous building that crudely approximated the destroyed Paulinerkirche. Built in 1231, this church survived all the vicissitudes, upheavals and wars down the centuries, only to be dynamited by Communists in 1968. So what if Martin Luther had officiated there, and Bach was a musical director? Of course, its rich history only made it more delicious to blow up, for iconoclasm is the orgasm of “progressives,” and that’s why I’ve never identified as one.

There’s one Leipzig neighborhood, Connewitz, that’s famous across Germany as the center of progressive politics, most notably the antifa movement, and guess what? It is thoroughly defaced with graffiti that are often anti-cop or anti-Germany. During clashes with police that Connewitzers instigate, shop windows are gleefully broken not just at multinationals, but mom-and-pops, because, you know, once you go berserk, it’s hard to stop. Reflecting on this in 2015, I knew it would only escalate and spread beyond Germany, and it has. Seeing photos of Seattle’s Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, I immediately thought of Connewitz.

When I wrote recently about the need for liberated zones, I meant, first of, the defense of your own communities, as happened in Philadelphia’s Fishtown and Italian Market, where locals banded together to block an invasion of vandals and looters.

Here in South Korea, local monuments and mores are safe. Here in Busan, there’s a huge statue honoring General Jeong Bal, who was killed by Japanese invaders in 1592. Losing with dignity is worthy of remembrance, though some contend he actually ran away. Historical debates are healthy.

More interesting to me are five sculptures of war refugees by Lee Hyun-woo, near the 40-Step Stairway. It was a shanty town during the Korean War, when Busan was a temporary capital after Seoul was overrun by Chinese and North Korean troops.

Depicted without hokiness, these are admirably realistic figures of a mother breastfeeding her baby while her naked son stood by, crying; two girls carrying water, one with a shoulder pole and the other with a jar on her head; two boys covering their ears as a man makes popcorn with a bomb-like contraption; a fedora-wearing accordionist, sitting on a bench; and two exhausted porters at rest. As public sculptures, they’re perfect, for they’re gracefully inserted into the environment as they dignify local history. Informative and fortifying, these bronze ghosts mingle with contemporary Koreans.

Across a Japanese-built bridge not far away, there’s a statue of Hyeon In. You can sit on a stone bench next to the smiling, suited singer, and hear his songs eternally broadcast from a bible-sized speaker.

In 1949, he made every man, woman, child and dog sob with his rendition of “Seoul’s Night Music.” “Walking through Chungmuro under a spring rain / Tears flowing down the window panes.” Oh, stop, stop! You’re murdering me! I can’t take it! A true legend.

As a refugee in Busan, Hyeon In wrote “Be Strong, Guem-soon.” It’s a message to his sister to stay strong until they meet again.

ORDER IT NOW

There is a street dedicated to the painter Lee Jung-soeb. He’s known for gestural paintings of bulls, and playful drawings of boys hugging fish and crabs pinching penises. Educated in Tokyo, his brief career started just after World War II and lasted through the Korean War.

Living all over, he starved, suffered from schizophrenia, drank too much and died in 1956 of hepatitis, at age 40 and alone, in a Red Cross Hospital. His wife and kids had been sent to Tokyo to escape the fighting. Although peripheral to art history, Jung-soeb matters to Koreans, and that’s enough. Meaning is local, above all.

Honoring their own culture and history, South Koreans also appreciate the finest from elsewhere. There are upcoming concerts of Saint Saen, Brahms, Beethoven and Vaughan Williams.

Rather bizarrely, Jin Ramen has a Joan Miro edition, and this made no sense to me until I noticed the Miroesque zigzags, wiggly lines and goofy shapes floating on its bright yellow packaging.

At Seomyeon Subway Station, there are reproductions of Ingres, Picasso, Modigliani, Manet, Caravaggio, Renoir, Turner, van Gogh, Monet, Canaletto and Goya. On an outside wall of a press die factory in Gamjeon-dong, a rather dreary neighborhood, there are reproductions of van Gogh, Magritte, Picasso, Mondrian and Lee Jung-seob, complete with labels to educate viewers.

The objective is not to present convincing facsimiles of great paintings, but merely to pique interest for further investigation. It’s similar to a street being named after a writer, painter, composer or scientist, as happens quite routinely in Paris, for example, but almost never seen in America, a country with a long, aggressive streak of anti-intellectualism.

We’re no longer talking about joe sixpacks sneering at pretentious bullshit, however. Thanks to Howard Stern, Jerry Springer, Rush Limbaugh, Honey Boo Boo, gangsta rap and antifa, etc., there is now a pandemic of cocksure loutishness, with frequent eruptions into violent barbarism. Ironically, the most militant driver of American anti-intellectualism is the academy, for nowhere else has thinking ceased more completely.

If we’re in a revolution, it’s one of enlightened barbarism, or woke savagery, carefully engineered down the decades. Yo massas enjoy the spectacle of y’all clawing at each other.

At Unz, there is a recent article by the Nation of Islam Research Group, “How Farrakhan Solved the Crime and Drug Problem… And How the Jews Attacked Him.” Whatever its flaws or biases, it is a fascinating expose of how Jews sabotaged an effort of blacks to help themselves. Immediately, I thought of the Jewish campaign against Craig Nelse n, who, against all odds, is desperately trying to save the most troubled, and even suicidal, white youths.

Connect the dots, people, before it’s too late.

Nothing wrong with ‘smashing culture’ because ‘culture’ must be forward looking and some facets/components of ‘culture’ must be smashed:
    –Polygamy, footbinding in old china…
–RC church theocracy in medevial Europe, serfdom and lama theocracy in old Tibet, serfdom in old russia
–Slavery in many parts of the world. Sheiks from Qatar were attended by their slaves at the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.
    –Aztec Cannibalism(Cuisine is definitely culture)
    ………
Mao tse tung’s cultural revolution was excessive but had the right spirit; smashing old temples no
    big deal, just rebuild them.
His worse mistake was not starting a 2-children/couple policy to limit population in the 1950s. Most people don’t have much intuition regarding demographic ‘momentum/inertia’.

  5. The White Party, the Republicans, haven’t a clue as to what’s really going on. As reported by Tucker Carlson, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, in the face of the toppling of statues and the nationwide anti-white riots, proposed additional sanctions on Basher Al-Assad.

Later in his monologue, Tucker said that the only hope for our side is the same Republican Party. If that is all we have going for us, we might as well raise the White Flag now.

Its a fucking big deal. Rare books, genealogies record that were compiled through many centuries of family clans that were burnt can never be recovered. Antiques that were smashed can never be restored. Cultural Revolution is a wholesale rejection of Chinese culture itself. Who gives the right for that traitorous piece of shit to do what he did?

Sorry I apologize for calling you a moron. There is no call for that. Anyway this narrative that the cultural revolution is somehow needed in order for China to modernize has no leg to stand on. If that is the case Taiwan, South Korea and Japan and Hong Kong wouldn’t be able to modernize because these societies never went through the trauma of cultural revolution.

This is a narrative pushed by the CCP nowadays to cover up for Mao because the CCP feels that Mao is synomynous with the CCP and hence to denounce Mao is to delegitimize CCP itself and that is the only reason this narrative is propagated.

The reason Mao launched the cultural revolution is to instigate mob violence and used the cultural revolution as a pretext to manipulate himself back into power after a hiatus of ten years when he was sidelined and to settle old scores of his old political rivals and people who has crossed him, whether intentionally or not.

Cultural revolution also significantly weakens China because schools and universities were closed and economic activities were severely curbed because the people were whipped into a frenzy of so called class struggle pitting children against their parents, students against teachers and generally against each other. At the height of the cultural revolution China was basically in a state of low level civil war with different factions of red guards fighting against each other and each side vowing they were more loyal to Mao then the others. It is during these times, in the seventies that many islands in the South China Sea were grabbed by various countries in South East Asia and occupied to this day. When Mao died China was among the poorest countries in the world, poorer than some of the Sub Sahara countries.

This is the REAL reason of the cultural revolution. It has NOTHING to do with changing old culture (which is the narrative pushed by the CCP nowadays) but everything to do with Mao setting up the proper environment to settle old scores, in particular LiuShaoqi who Mao felt has rubbed him the wrong way.

TW,HK…are different story and have different econ history. Its not about defensive of Mao as such, rather more of the fact that Chinese society(the ML was sure more rural than TW, HK…) has great inertia(still shown in the male to female ratio) to overcome. I consider the cultural revolution as an excessively radical last chapter of the May4th Movement.

Cultural revolution also significantly weakens China because schools and universities were closed and economic activities were severely curbed

Correct but china in the last few decades also shows great ability to recover; overall a short dent.
    ……………….
Had Mao started 2 kids/couple in the 50s, Chinese popn would be only about 750 millions in 2020.
China popn might drop to 1.o to 1.1 billion in 2100. Because of his mistake, china suffers popn size related pollution, environment problems and commodities import vulnerability. Even with the radical 1kid/couple later policy, china popn will suffer a time lag of almost 2 centuries

Shanghai in the late 1940s before the Communist takeover was much more cosmopolitan than Hong Kong or Taiwan ever was.

The last few decades are great. But the island grabs of the South China Sea in the seventies by the various SE Asian countries is harder to deal with. I don’t think China will ever get them back. One thing to note. The CCP almost never talks about the land grab of South Tibet and the islands in the South China Sea because it is downright embarrassing.

  17. The so-called Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution(which should have been called the Stupendous Moronic Cultural Demolition), as horrible as it was, wasn’t as frightening in its implications as the current Desecration in the West.

Chinese were acting retarded but still acting in the name of the Chinese nation. It was an attack on the Old but also against the Foreign and Imperialist. Thus, at the very least, it was pro-Chinese on some level. It had no use for Old Chinese Culture, but it was for Chinese unity and power. Also, it was all about Chinese acting out in China.

In contrast, the Psychotic Desecration in the West is a harbinger of the de-nationalization of Western/white nations. It forebodes a future where the US and its vassals will be demographically transformed by the Other. This will be especially horrible in Europe as black Africans will be the main newcomers. This demographic replacement/conquest will be accompanied by neo-satanism of the new spirituality with its main objects of worship being globo-homo queers and black gangstaz(as proxies of Holy Holocaust Jews as god-men). At the very least, the Chinese Red Guards felt no shame about being Chinese. In the new Western Order, whites will be allowed to feel only shame as cucky-wucks.

So, when the madness finally ended and the dust cleared following the Cultural Revolution, China was still a nation of Chinese who came to their senses and acted rationally to build and grow under Deng and his successors.
In contrast, the madness will never end but only grow worse as the West undergoes ever greater change with more mass invasion and more anti-white nuttery.

Another thing… is anyone really in charge anymore in the West? As vile as Mao and CCP got in the 1960s, they still had the power and could finally bring the madness to an end when they wanted. Mao and the military had just about enough and put an end to Red Guard terror. Many young lunatics were sent to the countryside to work with peasants.

But who’s in control in the West? Jews got the top power, but they insist on hiding their power. The narrative says White Privilege rules the West, but that means white authority is invalid and has no legitimacy to clamp down on the madness. (Trump and GOP sure aren’t doing anything.)
Some may say the Deep State is in charge, but while it may unleash something like Maidan-like violence in the US and the West, can it control it when things get out of hand? Deep State is good at doing things behind the scenes, but can it change events on the scene?

When push came to shove, Mao could send in the troops and mow down the worst of the Red Guards. But once the Jews and Deep State unleashes mass lunacy in the West, do they have sufficient means to restore order?
What happens in an Order when Jews with power pretend they got no power whereas whites who cuck to Jews must pretend they rule through ‘white privilege’ when their only ticket to preserving privilege is by cucking to Jews, sucking up to homos, and kneeling before Negroes?

English title is “Nowhere to Hide” which turns the movie into a police story, but not what the director said the point of the movie is about.

    Hi Дима Трамп,

I’d assume all statues erected by the Japanese during their occupation have been removed. A commenter like “Hacienda” can probably clarify this for us all.

Here’s a current news item to show how extremely sensitive Koreans are about Japanese invasions of their country:

tvN’s show stirs controversy for introducing symbol of Japanese samurai family

“Amazing Saturday,” a show on cable channel tvN, apologized for making a minor actor wear a costume bearing the family symbol of a samurai who invaded Korea in the 1500s in its latest episode, suspending a rebroadcast.

In the episode broadcast Saturday, Kim Kang-hoon, a child actor famous for his roles in multiple dramas and movies including “Mr. Sunshine,” wore a costume with the family crest of Ishida Mitsunari, a high-level Japanese official under the leadership of Toyotomi Hideyoshi.

Recently in Waegwan, I ran into a banner that said, “Which country invaded Hawaii / It’s Abe-ism in japan”!

Some remnants of Japanese occupation still survive. Almost all symbolic relics were destroyed, because the occupation was bitter; as you’d expect given the Japanese and Korean starting points.
Japan was only 20 years from Perry’s attack to attacking Korea. But Korea kept the useful things.

Like the Shinsegae Dept Store in Seoul was originally Japanese Mireukksi department store, which was bought by Lee Byung Chull the founder of Samsung. Shinseqae is now run by his youngest daughter. Chull, btw, attended Waseda University.

If you’ve seen the Badge of the Court, the insignia on police stations, you’ll see that’s derived from the Chrysanthemum throne.

As well as awful clothing and grooming, piercings, dreadlocks, etc. It is as if people made themselves and their environment uglier than they would naturally be, on purpose.

There must be a psychological explanation for that. Perhaps they know, deep down, that they are vile, and that their world consists entirely of lies. So they embrace ugliness a a form of suicide.

That is quite a remarkable coincidence. Maybe the Gibbs messaging you. I’m only half-joking. I’ve experienced odd coincidences like that too. Not with songs, though. For me it was knowing, just knowing that a person would step in the elevator at the next stop and it was really the most unlikely thing to happen. But there was something about the guy’s presence, he seemed to give off high psychic energy, darting eyes, a knowing smile. A few other less gripping coincidences, each hard to explain away. Taken together, it’s into the Twilight Zone.

Yes, that is a great scene on the stairway. The lightning flash and the disappearance of the schoolgirl, the sword cutting through the umbrella like a flash and killing the man (the father of the disappeared girl?).

Robin Gibb thought the Gibbs’ misfortunes could be attributed to being too influential, that their music was globally influential and it was karmic pay back.

  35. While Anglin is right about nearly everything, and more honest than literally everyone writing about these things, Spencer is right that this is an outbreak, or full metastasis, of “latent energies” within “Western civilization” – from obsolete non-white labor and unchecked individualism up to the amoral, all-devouring entity known as the LLC and its modern megacorporate form (which Rahan did a lovely job describing in metaphor on another thread), exemplified by none better than BlackRock and the social media giants.

I sympathize with the urge to hang one’s hat on statues of great men – the loss of Teddy Roosevelt is greatest of all – but one must take the longer view: this was always going to happen. Did you think we were getting out of these problems, that America would become some sort of utopia, or that we’d at least remain at the 90’s level of “tolerance”? Anyone honest with himself would have to answer no. But that means one is not entitled to surprise or remorse over cultural defacement.

Anglin and Spencer, and I believe everyone, agree: this is the tipping point toward full South Africa. Five years hence, statues will seem a very minor tragedy.

I think Mr. Linh Dinh is wrong when he equates the demolition of statues in the French Revolution with the current situation.
In France, the statues were destroyed by the new class that would rise to power – the bourgeoisie. The French bourgeoisie hated the king’s dictatorship but appreciated art, culture, music, honor, hard work and honesty, knowledge etc . They had a largely correct list of moral values.
The bourgeoisie was prosperous and already demonstrated by its own achievements and successes that has real value before they demolition statues. The king just blocked their and France development.
The bourgeoisie demolished something but put something better in place. French art and culture flourished after the French Revolution.
The horde that demolishes the statues now has no ethical values and does not want to replace one system with another.
They just want to destroy and plunder.
What is music, architecture, moral values, etc. which BLM and Antifa proposes? What BLM and Antifa what to put better in place of the American Constitution and the first Amendament for example?

So what if Martin Luther had officiated there, and Bach was a musical director? Of course, its rich history only made it more delicious to blow up, for iconoclasm is the orgasm of ‘progressives’”…which Martin Luther – probably the single most influential person in history (& not to be confused with an intellectual & moral pygmy like Martin Luther King, Jr.) – knew full well. 1968 was a turbulent year with student rioters in the U.S. & France & other parts of Europe causing chaos & destruction & nearly toppling their governments. It was also the year of the Prague Spring & rumblings in Eastern Europe so not too many noticed when the godless commies took a wrecking ball to the historic Paulinerkircheit. It’s only recently in 2007 that a new cathedral modeled on the original was constructed on the same spot which is now an integral part of the Univ.of Liepzig & serves as the university chapel. If the BLM madness reaches the rest of Germany outside of Berlin perhaps the rabble will knock it down again. The immortal Luther might not recognize his native Germany today but he did know something about unchecked rebellion. During the Peasant Rebellion of 1625 in Germany he was at first sympathetic to the rebels believing that, as he put it, “You lords should unbend your stiff minds a bit,—for you will have to do that sooner or later whether you will or no,—and give up a little of your oppression and tyranny, so that the poor man can have a little space and air.”
But as the rebellion raged, Luther apprehensively came to the conclusion that: “Every man is at once judge and executioner of a public rebel; just as, when a fire starts, he who can extinguish it first is the best fellow. Rebellion is not simply vile murder, but is like a great fire that kindles and devastates a country; it fills the land with murder and bloodshed, makes widows and orphans, and destroys everything, like the greatest calamity. Therefore, whosoever can, should smite, strangle, and stab, secretly or publicly, and should remember that there is nothing more poisonous, pernicious, and devilish than a rebellious man. Just as one must slay a mad dog, so, if you do not fight the rebels, they will fight you, and the whole country with you.”

“The white race is the cancer of human history; it is the white race and it alone—its ideologies and inventions—which eradicates autonomous civilizations wherever it spreads, which has upset the ecological balance of the planet, which now threatens the very existence of life itself.”

It’s as much a load of bullshit today as it was the first time I read it. Only more so now considering the fake concern over racism, of which in the United States, there is very little when compared the the rest of the world.

Civilizations, no matter what prevailing race led them, have been horrifyingly destructive. The only difference now is technology. However, invaders and destroyers used the technology of their day. Mongols skilled themselves on horseback and combat strategy, Huns had elephants, cannibalistic tribes in Amazonia used nature, copying camouflage and predatory animal behaviours, and Zulus used the short spear.

Does anyone not think if any cunning non-white race had modern technology they wouldn’t have risen to dominate the world? The Arabs? And all of the Asian tribes? Dig into history in Myanmar and mainland SEA and you’ll find that entire peoples living only ten miles apart developed uniqueness in cultures and langues and when they met, guess what? They fought for domination.

What’s going on today is a violent Marxist revolution coupled with black hatred, racism and deadly ambitions against American people and white culture. If it is not put down now, it will have to be put down later, after many people have been killed. And what the fuck is wrong with Liberal White people? That’s the question? They are inviting and encouraging their own destruction. What a shame.

  60. Lin: “Nothing wrong with ‘smashing culture’ because ‘culture’ must be forward looking and some facets/components of ‘culture’ must be smashed: [list of things Lin doesn’t like]”

When human beings evolve new world views they destroy whatever symbolized their old ones. In the West, this happened once before, during the Christian takeover of classical civilization. Statuary of the old gods was vandalized or smashed, temples torn down, whole libraries of manuscripts burned, and pagan philosophers executed by Christian mobs. I don’t see that this sort of thing “must” happen in some kind of fatalist or metaphysical sense, but it just seems to be how the human mind operates. Similarly, it’s not clear that culture “must” be forward-looking, but it certainly has been for a long time now. The continuous advances of technological “Progress” have fostered the belief that something better is always coming next, and that past ways of doing things are obsolete, and always can be improved upon. In the West,a millenarianism derived from Christianity has meshed with this perspective very easily and well, amplifying its effects. The white man’s attempt to create heaven on Earth, a utopia for all mankind, begins with the Christian conquest of the ancient world.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millenarianism

Similar destruction would have to take place if Christianity were ever rejected. The Pope and his priests would be publicly tortured and killed, Bibles and any literature even mentioning it collected and burned, and the Vatican with all its artwork razed to the ground. This sort of total destruction is just how Cultural Revolutions work.

Here is another thing. Two days after Japan was nuked Stalin unilaterally abrogated the Japan – Soviet Union mutual neutrality pact and declared war on Japan and swiftly sent the red army into China’s northeast to grab more land from China. Stalin only withdrew the red army under pressure from Roosevelt. Had the red army stayed on after Mao came to power I am sure the fucker would conceded the northeast too just like the fucker conceded outer Mongolia.

The CCP’s brainwashed version is that the Soviet red army was sent to help China fight the Japanese army in the northeast.

Absolutely Wrong. The Japan-USSR nonaggression aggreement contained a clause that either party could withdraw but must give the other party one year notice. The USSR gave Japan that one year notice in 1944. The Allies wanted the USSR to declare war on Japan, but the USSR stipulated they would only declare war 90 days after Germany’s surrender date. Germany surrendered May 6, 1945, USSR declared war on Japan August 6, 1945 per the agreement. The USSR had sufficient surplus forces that they could have attacked Japan in May 1945, or earlier if they wished. The USSR had an agreement with The United States to jointly attack Japanese forces in Korea, with the USSR dealing with forces north of the 38th parallel, and The United States dealing with forces south of the 38th, and each becoming the Allied Occupation Government of North Korea and South Korea respectively. However, the advance of the Red Army was far ahead of schedule and the USSR could have occupied all of Korea before US forces were able to land. Despite that the Red Army stopped at the 38th, honoring the agreement. How different history would have been had the USSR cheated and took all of Korea. There would not have been the horrors of the Korean War, Korea would have been in the orbit of the USSR, rather like Poland, and would have broken with the Soviets in 1989 to become a fully independent, and undivided Korean nation.

You are also entirely wrong regarding Mongolia. Outer Mongolia declared independence from China, and fought a war to win it, in 1911. Inner Mongolia also wished join the new Mongolian State but China managed to hold on to it. The Russian Empire gave vital military and diplomatic assistance to Mongolia in its successful struggle to liberate itself from Chinese domination(the Chinese in the early 20th century planned a mass emigration of Han into Mongolia to cement their authority, resulting in the 1911 Declaration of Independence by Mongolia). The USSR continued the policy of The Russian Empire. This is in the joint self interest of both Russia and Mongolia, and continues to this day. The Mongolian people are not Chinese and don’t want to be. In fact they appear to be a, quite attractive, mix of Asian and Caucasian. Perhaps they are descended from the Tian Basin people of 3000BC who were a cross between Caucasian and Asian and wore wool clothing whose tartan check pattern and weaving tech is exactly like the Ancient Scottish style. It seems that you do not appreciate the British occupation of Hong Kong being a form of revolution and cultural revolution. The British only allowed the Chinese to be what the British thought Chinese should be.

Linh, I lived next to Connewitz in the Südvorstadt and then in Plagwitz, the other ‘Red Corner’ in Leipzig. In both neighborhoods there were lots of punks and Antifa goons, so I too am very familiar with these ‘ticks’, as they are called in German. I am sure that you must have experienced their rioting and vandalism- all sanctioned and even paid for by the Mayor, Burkhard Jung, a ‘Wessi’ and a socialist. Molotov cocktails, throwing stones, destroying police cars and beating people up- all without any legal consequences. The black ski-masks of their uniform are illegal in Germany, but in Leipzig it isn’t a problem. Seeing Antifa in action in the U.S. during the BLM riots reminded me of Leipzig too- especially they way in which they have acted with impunity as law enforcement stands by and watches their antics. It is as if Connewitz has spread to America like metastasis. I’ve heard that German Antifa are in the U.S. advising their comrades, which doesn’t surprise me either. Reminds me of OTPOR. At least for now the American franchise is not targeting and physically attacking politicians, but perhaps that will come before November! Yes, one sees the patterns and knows where this is going like the plot of a bad sequel. The Nazis were a reaction to this kind of thing in the 20’s. The Freikorps gave the Communist leaders a ‘swimming lesson’ in the Landwehr Canal, which settled things for a while. 😉 In the end, the powers that shouldn’t be left Germans with a choice between a ‘red’ or a ‘brown’ dictatorship. Robinson Jeffers is my favorite poet! He was unpersoned and “brown-smeared” (as the term was for slandering someone as a Nazi sympathizer) for his opposition to American entry into the European war.
This poem of his seems appropriate for these days:

While this America settles in the mould of its vulgarity,
    heavily thickening to empire,
And protest, only a bubble in the molten mass, pops
and sighs out, and the mass hardens,
I sadly smiling remember that the flower fades to make
fruit, the fruit rots to make earth.
Out of the mother; and through the spring exultances,
ripeness and decadence; and home to the mother.
You making haste haste on decay: not blameworthy; life
is good, be it stubbornly long or suddenly
A mortal splendor: meteors are not needed less than
    mountains; shine, perishing republic.
But for my children, I would have them keep their
distance from the thickening center; corruption
Never has been compulsory, and when the cities lie at the
monster’s feet there are left the mountains.
And boys, be in nothing so moderate as in love of man,
    a clever servant, insufferable master.
There is the trap that catches noblest spirits, that caught
—they say—God, when he walked on earth.

And this one, a sort of follow-up:

Then what is the answer?—Not to be deluded by dreams.
To know that great civilizations have broken down into
violence, and their tyrants come, many times before.
When open violence appears, to avoid it with honor or
choose the least ugly faction; these evils are essential.
To keep one’s own integrity, be merciful and uncorrupted
and not wish for evil; and not be duped
By dreams of universal justice or happiness. These dreams
    will not be fulfilled.
To know this, and to know that however ugly the parts
appear the whole remains beautiful. A severed hand
Is an ugly thing, and man dissevered from the earth and
stars and his history…for contemplation or in fact…
Often appears atrociously ugly. Integrity is wholeness,
    the greatest beauty is
Organic wholeness, the wholeness of life and things, the
divine beauty of the universe. Love that, not man
Apart from that, or else you will share man’s pitiful
confusions, or drown in despair when his days darken.

The West’s lowbrow culture that emerged after WW II, getting progressively lower as decades passed is consistent with Europe and the rest of the West’s steady decline, now possibly taking the USA down to something it may never recover from. This could turn into the biggest event since the collapse of the USSR and communism. I do not know if there is a counter force strong enough to fight the anarchists. The “revolution” is clearly strongly anti-white and racist but saying that falls on deaf ears. Most whites know their place and won’t speak up and know it’s dangerous to speak up.

The last time there was a conservative revolution was when Fascists rose up and threw the Communists out of various European countries but ultimately the communists won with the backing of capitalist countries. There was resistance against communism after the war but that was resistance against the new superpower, the USSR and it’s satellites. The communists (known as Cultural Marxists) and those close to them were eating away at the West by taking over its universities undermining nationalism, loyalty to your people, religion, family, anything that bound you to people like yourself. This is the result. There is no unified opposition to the white hating anarchists. Just as the author points to Jews opposing Farrakhan and his attempt to improve blacks lives with what could probably be called conservative values, I think Jews have played probably the leading role in bringing the west down.

But there are probably many Jews that don’t support the destruction of the USA, a country they almost have complete control over and a country that is Jews and Israel’s closest ally in the world. If the US ceases to be a superpower, Israel will have lost its biggest and most important ally.

I have many fond memories of Leipzig, and also of nearby small towns. When I first got to Leipzig, a leftist German warned me about the countryside. He made it sound like it was swarming with Nazis who would skin me alive, but all these places were lovely, and in just about every one, I’d run into a Vietnamese restaurant. As I was about to enter one, two middle-aged German women walked out, so one greeted me in Vietnamese! At the farmers’ market in the Markt, I’d buy sausages from this one man, and one time, he also said something to me in Vietnamese. He didn’t make any sense, but it was very sweet.

My one complaint is that most Leipzig bars don’t open until late in the evening. Should I be locked alone forever in a barren cell with nothing but cases of Ur-Krostitzer, I’d still call it heaven.

As Kennedy began to do before the Jews assassinated him, give strong, true support to all the ex colonies of Africa. Give American Indians perhaps 1/3 of the present continetal U.S. Stop futher immigration of Asians, Latinos and everyone else. Europeans need to become religious again it seems to me. The Jews ruined their religion–send them packing, the crooked mouthed, crooked nosed little shitsticks–now reclaim it. We’re only secular, money-grubbing, soulless idiots because we were mesmerized by Jewish t.v. and mass media. Jews hate Europeans intensely, especially united and strong Europeans. Blacks and Europeans mix as well as oil and water. We want our countries back.

    I agree.
They don’t seem to care. Netanyahu takes great pleasure in rubbing America’s nose in the fact that Israel steals American technology and sells it to Russian and China. He is quite blatant in doing so and seems to relish in this power. Ultimately, I think that is the heart of the matter: Jewish hubris. They seem to be incapable of NOT insulting others they have gained power over.
This brazen chutzpah will be their undoing. At a certain point, they will have incriminated themselves so much that it will be impossible for American Jews to continue to run interference for them. At that point it will become ‘Open Season’.

You correctly surmise that the Zionist Jews are driving the racial problem. They desire more than anything else to destroy the white nations. Let us not help them along. The remedy you suggest would not only cause massive dislocation, hatred and chaos but would also devastate our economy, families and rule of law.

I live in Texas which is considered a southern state. I have been established on my home stead here for many years and plan on leaving my property to my children. Stalin was a big fan of exactly what you propose. Moving millions of people of divergent ethnic groups such as the Ukrainians to the steppes of Asia. This is just one of many examples. I can hardly think of a more totalitarian, elitist, social engineering fiasco than this. However I think its would be wonderful for you to practice this with your own property as a noble sevice to the black community. As far as the Europeans, I believe they should round up the recent migrants that are not contributing anything to the society and deport them back to the countries from which they came or a reasonable facsimile thereof. Kennedy was not involved in African immigration. However the 1965 Im. Act was the work of Jew Jacob Javits and other Jews in Congress. You jump from one thing to the next but I suspect that career criminal LBJ is the prime suspect in the queer JFK’s murder.

Your desire to give Amer. Indians perhaps a third of the country is so insane it sounds like the unhinged rhetoric of a leftwing lunatic. Giving people things is not usually a good idea. Go to an Indian reservation (a socialist anachronism) and see for your self. Better yet why don’t you claim to part Indian like Senator Warren and maybe they will let you move in. The big majority of Indians in this country just assimilated, intermarried with the whites as is the case with my grandmother who was a full blood Indian. By the way, no one ever made a big deal about it one way or the other. I agree that all immigration should be stopped and then only admit immigrants on a very selective basis according to qualifications.

As far as booting all the Jews to Israel, (Palestine) this is a land that the Kazars have invaded and occupied. To boot them back is to tacitly condone this evil and the murders and theft of the Palestinians land. The Jew only represent 2% of our population. The big majority of them are not a problem. As far as the wealthy zionist contingent the white people could take back the country starting with the House of Rep. if they were not so apathetic and stupid.

The Bolshevik (Jew) take over of Russia enabled by Jewmerica and the global Jew bankers was the greatest plundering operation ever undertaken. Still it required about 8 years of slaughter and lots of “humanitarian aid” to get the whole country under control.

Russia was making lots of progress before being liberated by the Jews. It had an agricultural surplus every year and produced more oil than the U.S. A little more time and the Bolsheviks would not have succeeded in overthrowing the country even with all the U.S. and bankers help. After the Jews took over, the whole economy stopped and starvation set in. Only constant agricultural, financial and industrial aid from the U.S. kept it going.

More than just a giant plundering operation it was also a NWO social engineering project. Millions of people from different ethnic groups were moved around to make a bad situation even worse. All large construction projects were done by slave labor provided by the enormous Gulag system.

The Zionist criminal conspiracy wants a system of total surveillance and control. The Chinese are ahead of everyone else in this regard as they move millions into the cities and are applying the social credit system. The Zionists are using the standard tactics of demoralization, destabilization to overthrow the western countries. The fake virus is a cover for a 6 trillion dollar theft by Wall St. and sanctioned by our shabbos goy Congress. It is a conditioning device also because it teaches the goys to obey their rulers. Fake Floyd just like Arbery, Breonna Taylor were all gov. psyops to inflame further racial division, divert the goyim’s attention and get more federal control.

Here’s a current news item to show how extremely sensitive Koreans are about Japanese invasions of their country …

It’s true that the Koreans remain very sensitive about the Japanese incursions.

As Linh Dinh will be aware, one reason for the sensitivity is that almost all the leading families in Korea were loyal Japanese subjects – i.e. “collaborators” from the viewpoint of Korean nationalists. This is a history that everyone knows but few care to discuss openly.

Many of the Japanese zaibatsu industrial combines remain in operation to this day. In Japan, an attempt was made by the U.S. occupation authorities in the 1950s to break up the combines into individual companies.

Linguistically, the Korean and Japanese languages show striking structural similarities. Moreover, both languages feature a heavy overlay of Chinese concepts and vocabulary traditionally written in Chinese characters. Korea (like Vietnam) has largely done away with using Chinese characters, but the underlying concepts and associations remain largely intact, to say nothing of the rich heritage of legends, stories, customs and beliefs shared among the peoples of East Asia.

The Chinese cultural heritage continues weighs heavily on both Japan and Korea despite more recent overlays of Western culture and government-sponsored attempts to create a more independent Korean cultural identity.

Even though her views were extreme on this matter, she wrote this in genuine sympathy with the Third World. This was when the Vietnam War was raging and when the Non-West was seeking alternative paths to development. Also, even those on the Right may recognize a kernel of truth in Sontag’s characterization of the Modern West. All this talk of ‘growth and more growth’ at the expense of all other considerations is a kind of cancer. After all, those on the Dissident Right are sick of ‘muh growth’ rhetoric of the globalists, libertarians, radical capitalists, and etc. GOP is only about GDP.

Sadly, where Sontag was wrong was that this cancer could spread from white nations to non-white ones as well.

it is the white race and it alone—its ideologies and inventions—which eradicates autonomous civilizations wherever it spreads

If only it were true. Today, non-whites have joined in globalism and are taking part in the destruction of all autonomous societies. Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea, under Western influence, have ended up with barren wombs and high suicide rates. They now welcome mass immigration. And Filipinos and others scramble to Japan and will demographically take over, and what had once been a unique Japanese people and culture will be lost. Hindus are all over the world taking part in globalism, from African cities to San Francisco to New York. Indeed, at this point, even if every white person were to suddenly vanish from the face of the earth, the cancer of globalism will likely spread and spread.

In a way, white ‘racism’ was a check on the white cancer. As long as whites offended others with supremacist attitudes, non-whites pushed against white power and influence. But then globalism came along, and the white empire was willing to welcome, extol, and promote non-whites to the highest ranks. White ‘anti-racism’ emboldened non-whites to join in the white-made globalist world order. (Indeed, it’s likely Gandhi and others would have joined with the British Empire if it hadn’t been ‘racist’ toward their ilk.) White ‘racism’ and Western nationalism posed as both the enemy and model for non-white nations. Against white ‘racism’, they needed their own racial identity as a weapon. And non-whites realized that the national system is most ideal for organizing modern societies. So, the struggle for ‘national liberation’ was also an enterprise in national formation. Some peoples, like the Vietnamese and Thais, already had a genuine sense of ethnicity, culture, and territoriality. Others, like the Indonesians and those in Middle East and especially much of Africa, had to work at creating new national identities. Still, as long as whites were in ‘racist’ and nationalist mode, non-whites felt compelled to emphasize their own racial-national identities as bulwark against the ‘cancerous’ Western Power(and, to be sure, rival non-white powers). Thus, the white cancer was limited to the white world. And maybe the New Order would have turned out poly-national after World War II. With the end of European empires, whites would have their world, and non-whites would have their own.

But the post-war story wasn’t dominated by Western Europe, a fading power, but by the US and USSR that competed for Universalist Hegemony. Both were empires that claimed to be committed to ‘anti-racism’. USSR was about communist brotherhood of man, comrades all around the world. US claimed to represent liberal democratic values and individual liberty applicable to all. As such, if European Empires had sought to dominate and exploit non-white colonies, US and USSR reached out with a vision of Enlightened Imperialism whereby non-whites would be treated as equals of whites. In some ways, this sounded good on paper, but it was one sure way to spread the white cancer as the white cancer cells were now willing to merge with brown cells IF the brown cells agreed to join with the white cancer.

While Sontag meant ‘cancer’ as damnation, there is a repressed awe of Western Civilization in her characterization. After all, cancer is no simple disease like a minor headache or sprained ankle. It isn’t just a case of the flu or toothache that a dentist can fix. Cancer is a GREAT disease, an awesome disease. Until relatively recent times, it could not be cured. It started small but spread all throughout and led to sure death.

    Sontag wrote:

The truth is that Mozart, Pascal, Boolean algebra, Shakespeare, parliamentary government, baroque churches, Newton, the emancipation of women, Kant, Marx, Balanchine ballets, et al, don’t redeem what this particular civilization has wrought upon the world.

Yet, the implication is that THOSE THINGS are part of the cancer. Indeed, what is the nature of cancer? It strives for total domination. It is obsessive, unrelenting, aggressive, expansive, maniacal, and totalizing. It must express itself to the fullest extent, and that means spreading all throughout the body EVEN IF it means death for the body. In one of her essays, Sontag associated sex with death. Sex(and orgasm), in its striving for the fullest sensuality and pleasure, takes the body to the furthest limit, beyond which lays death. It’s no wonder Sontag had a special thing for Yukio Mishima who was also obsessed with sex and death. The boy who got his first orgasm staring at a picture of St. Sebastian shot full of arrows ultimately died in much the same way albeit with a blade. Cancer is like the Terminator. You can’t bargain with it. It seeks total and ruthless domination, and nothing better stand in its way.
But that very mindset is at the heart of Mozart, Pascal, Shakespeare, Newton, Kant, Marx, Western Arts, Western Ideologies, and etc. Western Artists, more than those of other cultures, were most powerful in individuality, egoism, vanity, and even megalomania. Mozart did it his way, even truer of Beethoven and Wagner. Western scientists insisted on pushing further and further without end to get closer to the stars and atoms. Western explorers and discoverers searched further and further, even out into space. Western ideologies have sought to arrive at the ultimate truth, emancipate all of mankind or liberate every individual soul. Whether communism, capitalism, libertarianism, or feminism, they are about more liberation, more freedom, more justice, or the Permanent Revolution. So, even if one might find much that is good about them, they are essentially ‘cancerous’ in that they know of no limits. They must keep pushing further and further, even when it appears all possibilities have been exhausted.

However, the reason why the West became especially ‘cancerous’ was due to the stabilizing influence of Jewish Culture via Christianity. Western drive toward super-competitive excellence via individualism and universalism may have begun with the Greeks, but such extremes of ambition tend to burn themselves out. Thus, the West, like the Rest, went through cycles of rises and falls. Like the Tower of Babel, the pagan West rose high but fell to earth again. But then, Christianity came along and provided an emotional, moral, and spiritual gyroscope to Westernism. Christianity’s powerful moralism emphasizing humility and devotion could be heavy and repressive, thereby suppressing individual expression and excellence, but it also had a stabilizing effect on the Western pagan drive for no-limit exploration, discovery, conquest, and experimentation(the biting into the Forbidden Fruits). It provided a humble heart to the egotism of pagan pride. Thus, a kind of balance was formed between the liberal will to explore and conservative desire to preserve.

Paradoxically, the Christian element that dampened the pagan spirit of individuality actually made the Western Light burn brighter in the long run. It’s like an overly ambitious person may feel resentful about being told to get some rest, take it easy, spend time with family, and go on vacation. So obsessed with winning, he may want to work 24/7. And yet, that is a good way to burn out… as Alexander the Great did. But in being forced to balance his drive for excellence with some time set aside for peace of mind, his energy will actually last longer. It’s like an athlete who plays too hard all the time won’t last long in the ring or field. And Christianity, a religion originating from heretical Jews, provided a kind of balance to the highly aggressive Western pagan spirit for excellence. Many scholars see this Hebraic influence as having set back European advancement, and that is partly true. In the Muslim world, Islam did end up holding back progress. And Christianity in the Byzantium was too heavy and stifling of innovation and individuality. But in the Renaissance West, a balance was reached between hunger and humility. This way, instead of civilization as short bursts of sprints that soon peter out, the West set upon a long-term marathon of advancement with Christian humility serving as a stabilizing force to Pagan hunger. So, the West broke out of the cycles of rises and falls and embarked on a long journey of progress to more progress to more progress. (But in the post-Christian age, we are witnessing how the drive for more experimentation, more freedom, more power, and more wealth WITHOUT the stabilizing force of some great spiritual-moral counter-force is leading to the Great Fall. The Post-Christian West seems to intuit this danger on some level and grasps for new spiritual truths, but worship of the Super-Jew, Holy Homo, and Magic Negroes just doesn’t cut it.)
It was that combination of Hellenistic drive and Hebraic spirit that made the West truly ‘cancerous’. It led to endless rise and rise and more rise, and more expansion and more growth and etc. Though, as the story of Galileo tells us, the influence of religion often held back the power of reason, it also prevented the secular forces from growing too vain, arrogant, adventurous, impatient, and reckless. When religion mattered in the West, homo artists made the great works of the Renaissance. But in our time, homos just celebrate their degeneracy without shame, and such narcissism is promoted as the new spirit of the times. The moral rot from this in times to come will be incalculable. Generations raised with drag queen story hour. Churches festooned with sodomy-glorifying banners. Maybe, in some ways, this is a good thing in the long run. Maybe it is time for Western Civilization to fall to ruin and start again. Maybe the hellenic-hebraic cancer had a great long run, and now must end.

In a way, life itself is like a cancer. Like cancer, life seeks to grow and grow. Any organism is ‘cancerous’ in multiplying without limit to take over the whole world. But life could not be cancerous because organisms all balanced each other out. Countless plants and countless animals all canceled out one another. So, even if one organism wanted to take over everything, it couldn’t as it was balanced by or depended on other organisms. The first truly cancerous organism arrived with mankind. When Sontag wrote her piece, she probably had no idea how destructive even primitive man was upon the Earth. Archaeologists now believe that the migration of prehistoric men led to the extinctions of most mammal species in all five continents. So, humans were cancerous before the arrival of the white race. But among the human races, the white race became the most cancerous of them all.
Again, by ‘cancerous’, it’s as much a compliment as an epithet because cancer is a great awesome disease. While all human groups built empires and conquered and killed many — Huns, Aztecs, Mongols, Ottomans, etc — , it took the white race to finally conquer every piece of land on Earth, split the atom, and send men into space. While non-white races were also ruthless, aggressive, and cruel, their ‘cancerousness’ was limited. Mongols conquered so much but couldn’t expand further and couldn’t sustain their pace and then soon faded. Ottomans seemed to be on the verge of conquering and overtaking Christendom but reached their peak and then began the long decline. They remained locked in cycles of rises and falls experienced by most civilizations. (To be sure, the Muslim world, like the Christian world, experienced a long continuity due to the stabilizing power of the words of the Prophet. But Islam was bound to be more stifling of innovation and progress for one crucial reason. Whereas Christianity developed as a universal religion by dumping the narrow tribal laws of the Jews, Islam combined universalism with the local customs of Arabs & Judaic laws. Christianity dropped the particularity of culture and emphasized the universality of spirit whereas Islam attached Arab-Judaic customary particularism to a universalist creed. As such, there was too much cultural baggage in Islam for it to allow much in the way of creativity and innovation.)

When Sontag wrote her piece, the white world seemed distinct from the non-white world. Also, whites were clearly in control of the white world. Jews didn’t control the US or Europe, though they were clearly influential. So, one could speak of the West vs the Rest. But over the yrs, whites cucked to Jews and even cucked to blacks. And whites now cuck to Diversity, or mass migration-invasion.
As such, it’s no longer the case that whiteness is the cancer of humanity. It is no longer whiteness or white power or white ways that are threatening to control all the world. Rather, whiteness is now like a cuck-cancer bridge to Jewish cancer, black cancer, and homo cancer. Whites are now like the god Atlas. It is no longer the active god of the world but the supportive and servile god. White managerial shoulders now serve as the bridge of Jewish supremacist cancer that spreads wars, predatory capitalism, hegemonism, and genocides(especially against Arabs and Muslims). But under the control of Jews, white shoulders also serve as the bridge for non-white invasion of white lands. Billy Boy Clinton and Joe Biden welcome the browning of the West. Even Donald Trump who ran on border controls says he wants more legal immigration. Brexit led to shutting UK to other Europeans but welcomes more blacks and browns. On the bridge of white shoulders, the Jewish cancer spreads all over, and of course, Jews spread globo-homo cancer as their proxy disease all around the world. Jews figure homos in each nation will make the best collaborationist agents for Jews. And whiteness also serves as bridge for the spread of Afromaniacal cancer all over the world. Would there be blacks outside Africa if not for the white bridge? White folks used to spread white power around the world. Now whiteness as cuck-cancer spreads Jewish power, Negro might, and homo sickness around the world. What do Chinese boys worship most? Negroes in the NBA.
That is why, if whites cannot bring about white liberation from Jewish supremacism and black monstrosity, it would be better if the white race just vanished from Earth. In our times, whiteness is most dangerous not because of ‘white supremacism’ but because of white cuck-ism that helps to spread Jewish supremacism, black ghastliness, and homo degeneracy all around the world. Does the world really need to worship BLM and ‘Muh Israel’? Does the world really need to be instructed by fruits and trannies whose main mode of being is tooty-toot-toot vanity?

Cancer isn’t infectious, but it seems as though the white cancer came to submit, serve, and transmit the Jewish cancer, black cancer, and homo cancer as the hegemonic forces to every corner of the world. BLM protests even in Iceland? Huh? But then, with Hollywood as the new vatican, the new faiths are the Wonder Jew, Magic Negro, and Holy Homo.

If dx/dt is large, could be called evolution
Like it or not, regardless dx/dt is large or not; fast or slow, cultures change, like from hunting food gathering to farming. Just if dx/dt is large, the jolt could be uncomfortable to some.

You reference serfdom, but seem unaware that serfdom provided land and a means of survival to people in exchange for some, not all, of a daily or weekly labour. Not ideal, perhaps, but better than the wage slavery the current system provides

I can’t comment on the ‘system’ you’re in because it’s a separate huge issue.
Serfdom means agricultural slaves that could be sold or bought; might be one can put oneself up for sale or better still, remind the poorer descendants of slaves “Your ancestors didn’t do that badly; well, you’re homeless? You ancestors had a roof over their head at least. Ever consider the honest profession of picking cotton? (Harvester)Machines are evil and godless you know.

Everyone makes bizarre guesses about the nationalities of others.

At one point Biff himself believed I was living in Nevada. Others believed I was Australian, which I wish I was.

    My question is this.

Why is America now a bigger shit show than Australia, New Zealand, Singapore or other developed countries?

Why does America have more problems than other countries? Is it only our minorities?

For example, why is the rural and urban divide worse than it is in other countries?

Also, what will happen as the dwindling white population of America ages? How long can US military spending continue for?

Why don’t other countries have abandoned derelict cities like Detroit?

Why are US whites poorer and less educated than white people in Australia or Finland?

Why are so many people homeless in America? Can anyone answer these questions.

Why is the infrastructure so bad in the US? Certainly the potholes in airport runways cannot be blamed on minorities so what is the reason?

Why did the situation seem to worsen after George Bush was elected 20 years ago? What would happen if Al Gore had been elected instead? Would it have mattered.

And why is America rapidly falling behind other countries such as Australia and New Zealand in terms of living standard?

Why are there less white homeless people in Australia than in the United States?

Does America even MATTER to the rest of the world?

    My questions require answers.

Of course Koreans and Japanese are similar-the Jomon people came from the Korean peninsula and killed most of the Ainu. And then there was another wave of ancient migrants from Mongolia into Japan for some reason.

I suspected something was off, because Asians tend not to be directly disrespectful to others — only indirectly. My wife is Chinese, so I’m tied into her huge network of friends and family. They think thoughts quite differently than what you expressed.

I don’t think we racists are on high horses. It’s likely just genetic behavior and it is quite common. I asked my wife why almost all of her friends and family are Democrats, yet have dim views of beggars and underachievers. She said “because we are voting against white people.” Like you, I guess they want to knock us off our high horses. In my view, research shows all behavior has a genetic factor, so it doesn’t do any good getting even with someone, for perceived wrongs. I’ve noticed in dealing with my children that you can’t really punish them to correct bad behaviors, because it leads to conflicts and resentments with them. They must learn to correct it on their own. But, that leads to problems too.

I’ve traveled to Australia, a few years ago. Like America, they are swamped with immigrants. From Brisbane to Sydney, I encountered far more immigrants than natives. Sydney seems like a Middle-Eastern city. I enjoyed Australia, but it didn’t seem like Australia anymore.

Our rural areas in America are a problem, because over the past few generations, the smart rural kids leave the area, for good jobs in the cities. So, the rural areas are filled with not-very-bright people. Because they aren’t bright, they struggle with life’s problems, often resorting to meth and other drugs. Meth is a hug problem in rural areas. It’s destroying schools, families, and likely America.

That rural problem explains some of the homelessness in America. Much of it is due to people unable to cope with problems and with too much isolation. I know people who are homeless. It’s hard to help them, because they mostly suffer from mental illness and a lack of comprehension because they are not very bright.

I don’t disagree that cultures change, but they change for different reasons. Invasions cause cultural change, but what those changes are, vary. Until 50-60 years ago, large numbers of Inuit were still essentially hunter gatherers, as they had been forever. Rifles, introduced 100+ years ago changed the manner of the kill, but not much else. The ulu knives became metal, but the process of dismembering didn’t change much. Snowmobiles were the game changer, and allowed them to be in permanent residences. The permanent residences have led to some occupational changes related to permanent residences. The permanent residences have also allowed them to have a more varied diet, but they aren’t farmers, and never will be. All of those changes were opportunistic changes done voluntarily.
That type cultural change is significantly different than forced cultural change such as Roman or Ottoman invasions. Despite European colonialism, there are, in Africa, places where culture has superficially changed, such as clothing or living accommodations, but the tribal cultural attributes have never been penetrated, despite planned intervention to “civilize” them. IMO, Hong Kong was a forced change, by the UK, that has morphed into a new HK culture, just as the Maoist takeover was a forced change that morphed into a new PRC culture. Both are “Chinese” as is Taiwan which has, it seems, changed opportunistically. I make no judgement on which is better, as that is an opinion that can the affected populations have to decide, only that the manner of change, has been different in the three. Your reference to time is included in the manner. Hong Kong has a much longer time line, relatively speaking.

Serfs were never slaves, and the only sale they could be involved in was the sale of the land they farmed, to a new owner. In that case, the tithe changed from the “old” owner to the new. The new owner could continue the tithe or evict the serf.

A question raised:Is the car inherently evil?

I suspect it would be as inherently evil as cotton, a knife, a gun, or a rock.

    Overall, you’ve problems of lexicals.

    Invasions cause cultural change

Should it be invaders bring their own culture ?
The origin/birth of the ‘new’cultures often didn’t involve conquest. Good examples are the birth of Christianity, its initial spread and industrial revolution.
Overall, invasions only account for a portion of cultural spreads/change(.Eg, the arabs imposed Islam on some of their vanquished subjects but Indonesians turned muslims without wars.)
and the causes could be complex; exactly what trigger the ‘Color Revolutions’? Scheming, financial support planned inside CIA conference or something boarder ? Falungong is openly supported by the American establishment; in this case you’re correct it’s war under the cover of ‘culture’.

but seem unaware that serfdom provided land and a means of survival to people in exchange for some, not all, of a daily or weekly labour. Not ideal, perhaps, but better than the wage slavery the current system provides.

The main tones of your original statement is that serfdom was benevolent even compared to livinghood of the poor in modern developed societies. This I think the descendants of the serfs/slaves can judge. Other than the harsh conditions(like those inflicted on the Tibetan serfs), let me put it this way:The serfs were sold together with the land they ploughed, OK?

Chinese and Indians are the smartest people.

India clocks in at 82. Mexico is 88.

India does have a smart fraction but said smart fraction does not overcome all the Indian dummies on left side of distribution curve.

Immigrating Indians is not wise social policy due to regression to the mean.

Immigration is only to acquire low wage labor.

Many Americans (average IQ 98 and falling due to third world immigration) are easily duped….

Easy brainwashing of whites may be peculiar to the “trusting” nature of white races, where trust is an adaptation from the ice ages.

Please remember that the U.S. ruling class’ military arm has destroyed enormous amounts of statues, museums, cathedrals, palaces, monasteries and so on by simply dropping innumerable numbers of bombs upon them during the last world war. You describe a few modern Korean statues, but the fact is that most of Korea was obliterated by U.S bombers during the Korean War. Their public and private art and structures went up in smoke. This was extremely tragic because before the war, Korean cities and towns possessed some of southeast Asia’s most ancient and beautiful architectural treasures.

The Jew only represent 2% of our population. The big majority of them are not a problem.

Really? That 2%runs the whole country! Look up big university presidents, to mention nothing of their legions of professors. Look at the Supreme Court. Look at Hollywood. Look at all the networks, big newspapers, music industry, all big media. They run it all. Every presidential candidate has to stick his tongue up the ass of AIPAC before being officially blessed.
Do you know any Jews? I’ve worked for many, and on the whole they are insufferable. They only like Europeans as their slaves.
And not only Stalin tried to find reasonable solutions to these great problems. Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and the great Louis Farrakhan agree that blacks should have a separate country, and most sane people in history have wanted the Jews to be as far away from them as possible. And don’t discuss Indians either. You only see them in their modern wrecked state. I won’t go on.

Good point. What’s interesting about it, though, is the disorder. The shift from local communities to national communities, helped by the newly completed interstate freeway system in the 1950s – 1960s, brought a spike in crime and loss of communities — people were more transient and unconnected to others. But, the national connections and national chain stores gave us superior goods at a lower cost. And the increased economy brought more job opportunities. So, people’s economic well being increased at the cost of loss of structure in communities. A good question though, has the amount of order in the country changed and how do you measure that order? One possible measure of order is the productivity per capita, it’s going down. Based on this, the economy optimizes well being, but it doesn’t optimize the amount of order in a society.

  152. ‘Good point. What’s interesting about it, though, is the disorder. ‘

Then too, there’s the question of the magnitude and suddenness of the shift. It’s one thing if five percent of a given population moves off to the town over the course of a generation — another if fifty percent do it within ten years. Various sources from the twenties through the sixties point to the sheer volume of such movements all over America.

Not to mention, these changes always or at least often have been disruptive. See the English peasantry of — say — the sixteenth century transmogrifying into the drunken urban lumpenproletariat of eighteenth century London — as in Hogarth’s ‘Gin Alley’ prints or whatever they are. It’s not like the past was some smiling, unvarying vista of social harmony and happiness.

‘No, Old Sport; they used to stay home and run the family farm/ranch, or follow dad into the mine.’

Not always. This goes way back; cities have always been magnets for the rural population. It’s just that in pre-modern times the death rates for cities were so high that they didn’t necessarily grow even though the peasantry kept pouring in.

But it’s always gone on. See the legend of Dick Whittington and his cat. That one dates back to the beginning of the seventeenth century — and refers to an even earlier figure. Here’s the synopsis from Wikipedia:

‘…Dick Whittington was a poor orphan boy, languishing in Lancashire (B), or some unnamed place in the country (H, C).[b] He set off to seek his fortune in London (B, H, C), enticed by the rumour that its streets were paved with gold (C)…’

I imagine Fulvius Rusticus did much the same in First Century BC Rome. Else cities wouldn’t last. As I say, in pre-modern times their indigenous population chronically decreased rather than increased.

It’s a trade off. See Aesop’s fable of the town mouse and the country mouse. The city is attractive — but perilous. This probably has always been the case. The young and the restless (or desperate) keep getting pulled in,

I suppose the next generation can then attach a sticker to the sticker criticizing our values.

I find it exasperating. Of course people from the past did a lousy job of living up to our values. They weren’t trying to; they were trying to live up to their values.

If we were to be fair, we wouldn’t ask, ‘Did Columbus enslave the Indians’ or whatever. We’d ask. ‘Did he make sure they were baptized? Did he tell them about the Virgin Mary and Our Lord Jesus?’

It’s idiotic to judge people by standards that aren’t theirs. In fact, of course, there should be a statue of Columbus, and it should at least be benignly ignored, even if one isn’t inclined to honor it. He was a pivotal figure, one whose courage and determination helped to bring our world into being.

What world are all these swine who attack his statue bringing into being?

    We can see that.

No, change was far from a smiling, unvarying vista of social harmony. To often, the change is uncontrolled and not seen properly. In pre-revolution Russia, the intelligentsia embraced the Marxist ideology creeping into Tsarist Russia, because the ideas were popular, not because the change was systematically understood. That’s happening today, in America. Women seem to be the drivers of much of it. In schools, girls are stigmatized if they don’t follow popular thought and popular girls. I can see that parroting in the mindless women embracing BLM. And, in teachers.

Several years ago in my youngest daughter’s Girl-scout troop, the troop leader led the troop into a Target store, where the girls were given the assignment of approaching boys, to tell them they should try girls clothes, and approaching girls to say they should try boys clothes. Surprisingly, all the girls complied, except my daughter. She told the troop leader “I’m not going. I like to dress in girl’s clothes, and I think you are a psychotic freak.” Normally, I would reprimand her for talking that way to an adult, but couldn’t help but laugh.

Change is dangerous when led by what is popular. This government doesn’t work at all. I think the nation needs to find measures of disorder, and then revise the government to control it, as the Fed controls monetary policy through a scientific approach.

Depending on the time and the place, serfdom often was benevolent. It imposed on the lord an obligation to protect, as well as a right to extract labor from, the serfs.

And that could matter. I particularly remember some letters from a medieval monastery. They’re complaining of the local peasants. When times are settled, they’re ‘free’ and don’t owe the monks a thing. If some robber baron in the neighborhood is running amok, all of a sudden they’re serfs of the monastery, and the monastery is obliged to protect them.

Obviously, depending on the circumstances, people could suddenly find serfdom extremely attractive.

‘In Europe the land was always owned by nobles, therefore cities grew…’

You’d be mistaken about that. For starters, in medieval Europe, there wasn’t the unitary concept of landownership we have today. One person would have the right to fell timber, and another to graze cattle. A third would have the right to administer justice, and a fourth the right to keep bees.

So in such a society, it’s meaningless to talk about who ‘owns’ the land. I suspect this is one reason modern Western colonialism and institutions of land ownership could be very disruptive. In places like Palestine and Algeria, Europeans would come in and impose their modern notion of unitary land ownership — then ‘buy’ the land from some one party in all these webs of rights and dues. Thus, to take the most dramatic example, Palestinian peasants would find themselves suddenly forced off the land.

What the hell? Sure, they knew some Jews had bought up the right to collect feudal levies on the land. It had never occurred to anyone that meant the peasants wouldn’t keep farming that land and paying the dues just as they always had. The right to collect dues had been sold; no one took that to mean the right to farm the land had changed hands.

Categorically I agree. Ephesians 6:5: ‘Bondservants, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters’. Slavery and gender inequality were dictated by economic conditions and technology. Whatever apostol Paul possibly said about slavery just couldn’t change the realities.
    …………….
I understand the recent racial tension, however to compare the ‘merits’ of slavery over a span of 1000s of years isn’t appropriate, like:

Obviously, depending on the circumstances, people could suddenly find serfdom extremely attractive.

Why Saudi Arabia with their oil wealth didn’t abolish slavery until 1962?

  160. @Colin Wright

The Enclosure Acts beginning in 1604 stole all public ‘commons’, huge tracts where everyone could legally farm and graze their animals, and sold them off to uber wealthy private individuals, leaving only the postage stamp-sized modern commons we can see in Britain now. These individuals were mostly made super wealthy by looting the Catholic churches and monasteries for roughly 70 years before that.

In Chicago, it is generally pronounced go-thee. This fact was ridiculed once by Tony Randall on the Tonight Show. He came to Chicago once and wanted to take a cab to his friend’s apartment on Goethe. The cab driver didn’t know what street he was talking about since Tony pronounced it correctly. Finally the cab driver said “Oh, you mean Go-thee!”
