[Excerpted from the latest Radio Derb, now available exclusively through VDARE.com]

Earlier: Biden Calls For Nation-Busting Amnesty In Final Debate

That President Trump will lose his re-election bid is a common opinion among people who wish otherwise. It’s not just me. I got an email from an old friend who is nine times smarter than I am, and a Trump voter.

On the side of the Democrats are: The FBI, the CIA, the federal bureaucracy, academia, Facebook, Twitter, Google, Hollywood, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, NPR, the NYT, every magazine on the shelf, BLM, Antifa, 50 million illegal aliens, and now, the Chinese Communist Party.

If they can’t steal an election with that group of supporters, what does it say about their general level of competence?

So Trump has an uphill battle—but he also has poor mountaineering skills. That’s what mainly got my attention in Thursday night’s Trump-Biden debate

Some of this has already been elaborated by my VDARE.com colleague James Kirkpatrick here..

The number is likely closer to twenty million; and with chain migration following, that twenty million would bring in another forty, fifty, a hundred million. Why didn’t Trump say that?

  • And then, all the fluff about prison reform. Is this really a popular item with voters?

Biden mocked Trump for having said, twenty years ago, “There’s not enough people in jail.”

What Trump said in his book The America We Deserve, (2000) referencing James Q. Wilson’s work, was “No, the problem isn’t that we have too many people locked up. It’s that we don’t have enough criminals locked up.”

Trump was right; and I think a great many voters, most of them Trump voters, know that.

Do we really want fewer people in jail? To judge from crime rates, we need to put way more people in jail.

  • Likewise with the business of separating children from their parents at the border.

Trump did, to be sure, remind us that the Obama Administration did this too.

He could, however, kill the whole thing dead by asking the lefty moderator what she thinks should be done with children brought across the border illegally by their parents. Put them into adult jails with the parents? Just release parents and kids together into the population with a stern reminder to the parents to show up for their court hearing two years on?

What would you do, lady?

  • The biggest ball Trump dropped, though, was the moral case.

The U.S.A., as every foreigner notices, is an intensely moralistic nation. If you can make any kind of appeal from personal morality, that’s a big plus.

Trump can—but he doesn’t, I don’t know why.

This is the case: These two guys on the debate stage, Trump and Biden, are both stinking rich. How did they get that way, though?

It’s not a mystery in either case. Trump got a head start from his Dad, a successful businessman. However, he did not do the Prodigal Son thing and waste his substance with riotous living; he learned the commercial real-estate business and parlayed his Dad’s gift into a huge fortune, creating hotels, resorts, golf courses, and such, for the convenience and enjoyment of his fellow citizens. Then he ventured into show business, and was successful there. Trump’s fortune has been honestly earned.

Then, at a point in life where many of us get a good pair of carpet slippers and relax by the fire to read Trollope and bore our grandchildren, Trump transferred his energies to public service, offering himself to voters as a guy who could fix things that many of us thought were wrong with our country.

That’s Trump. Now, how did Joe Biden get rich?

From politics, that’s how. He’s been in politics for fifty years, well-nigh his entire adult life.

Politics doesn’t actually pay that well, salary-wise. A conscientious politician, in the older Anglo-Saxon tradition of public service, will live decently well, but he won’t get stinking rich. I gave a couple of examples in my book We Are Doomed:

When Harry Truman left office in 1953, he had no income but his army pension of $112.56 a month. He had to take out a bank loan while negotiating a deal to write his memoirs. That was the way of things all over the Anglosphere. It was part of the tradition of modest Anglo-Saxon government. When Bob Menzies, Australia’s longest-serving Prime Minister, left office in 1966 after 18 years in power, having given up a lucrative legal career for politics, he could not afford to buy a house in Melbourne.

Well, that was then, when notions of gentlemanly restraint and duty were still current. Ours is a cruder, coarser, more cynical age.

Gentlemanly restraint nowadays would be hooted down as “toxic masculinity.” A President who left office with nothing but an army pension to fall back on—and who, like Truman, would not accept offers of extravagant speaking fees or company directorships because it would demean the Presidency—would nowadays be regarded as a sucker.

So if Joe Biden didn’t get rich on his politician’s salary, how did he get rich? We’ve been getting some insights into that from these recent revelations about his hobnobbing with Russian and Chinese kleptocrats.

Even setting all that aside, though, being a U.S. Senator for 36 years and then a Vice President for eight can be mighty remunerative. You don’t have to be sensationally crooked: A U.S. Senator has enormous influence, a Vice President even more, and the money will come looking for you.

Forbes has the details of Biden’s post-Vice-Presidential income growth:

How The Bidens Earned $16.7 Million After Leaving The White House, by Michela Tindera, October 22, 2020

Absent the principled restraint of a Truman or a Menzies you just have to sit back and let the gifts, the fees, the favors, the “contributions,” the stock options roll in. (Barack and Michelle Obama’s net worth is estimated at $40 million—each! [Barack and Michelle Obama net worth 2020, by Margaret Abrams, London Evening Standard, February 19, 2020.])

So comparing these two guys, there is a strong moral case in favor of Trump.

Why doesn’t he make it? Poor mountaineering skills.

John Derbyshire [email him] writes an incredible amount on all sorts of subjects for all kinds of outlets. (This no longer includes National Review, whose editors had some kind of tantrum and fired him.) He is the author of We Are Doomed: Reclaiming Conservative Pessimism and several other books. He has had two books published by VDARE.com com: FROM THE DISSIDENT RIGHT (also available in Kindle) and FROM THE DISSIDENT RIGHT II: ESSAYS 2013.

  5. However, he did not do the Prodigal Son thing and waste his substance with riotous living; he learned the commercial real-estate business and parlayed his Dad’s gift into a huge fortune, creating hotels, resorts, golf courses, and such, for the convenience and enjoyment of his fellow citizens.

Nonsense. He was a disaster at commercial real-estate and went bankrupt. Every business venture he touché has been a disaster – the USFL, Trump Air, Trump University, the golf course in Scotland, etc. As has often been pointed out Trump would be wealthier today if he had just invested his inheritance in mutual funds. The Apprentice saved his ass and saved his brand at a point when he was almost broke.

Trump is hardly a selfless servant of the people. His career in politics started as a way to keep his sagging brand alive after The Apprentice fizzled our, and milk money from the taxpayer and rubes. His Presidency has been focused on getting sweetheart business deals in places like Saudi Arabia and China, restructuring his massive debt load and fleecing the taxpayer. He is corrupt at a Latin American or African level.

Derbyshire is too smart to actually believe the nonsense he writes about Trump. Or maybe as a mathematician he really is that naive about how business works in the real world?

  6. Sorry, but this article is utter rubbish. Trump never made much money in real estate. In fact most of the time he lost really big and was bailed out multiple times by Israeli, Russian and KSA investors.

Trump himself is almost $500M in debt personally and his family company has about $1B+ in debt, on assets of probably less than $2B at the very best.

The only place Trump made some money is from the Apprentice series, which was mainly the effort of Mark Burnett who no longer supports Trump politically.

Come on, man. All 6 Trump casinos went bankrupt, his listed company DJT went bankrupt and was delisted, Trump University busted, he lost Plaza Hotel and got his ass reamed by China over the Avenue of Americas deal, and you can still say he was successful in business?

Maybe because he has been able to cheat his way out of paying taxes for the last 20 years?? Trump’s dad left him probably $1B or $2B plus in assets and Trump squandered most of it on bad deals.

Come on man. Trump says he is worth $10B, but he can’t even come out with $20M or $30M for his own campaign now, that is running so short of funds now it can’t even advertise in the battleground states?

Bloomberg just threw $100M into Florida and also spent anothe $100M plus before this. Trump is on the ticket and he can’t even spend $20M to save his own fat ass?

There are so many other real property developers who have had real success compared to Trump. trump is just a guy who lucked into a big inheritance and a juicy part in a successful reality series. As a fly-by-night businessman and minor league property developer he does not have a good record of success at all.

Trump is a goner. He failed in business and now he’s failed in politics. He was so corrupt and dumb that he didn’t want to protect America from Covid-19, and he also started a useless trade war against China that has destroyed American agriculture and put American family farms all on govt welfare and bailouts forever.

He even dares to lie hilariously that China is paying the Tariffs! China is not paying the Tariffs. Every American study shows that American companies are paying 99% of the Tariffs as well as American consumers. His tariffs are just another tax on americans and it has caused a RECESSION in american manufacturing. China isn’t paying a CENT.

And China never devalued its currency because of Trump’s dumbass trade war(as Trump claimed in his last debate with Biden-it’s another fantasy). In fact, its currency strengthened. And the trade deficit? It got even worse. Utter failure by Trump.

And American Farms? All on govt welfare and bailouts, courtesy of the American Taxpayer, NOT China.

If the USA had Stormy Daniels as President, it would have done so much better than under fatass Trump.

People love talking down Trump as if he achieved nothing and his accomplishments have no value, but the man’s a billionaire and he took the presidency right from under the Democrat’s entitled noses. Regardless of whether he’s a good man or not, he pulled the covers off a heinously corrupt, hostile culture of subversion present within the American left and has inoculated millions of Americans to their effects. The left cannot work any further in the shadows, the alphabet organizations are known to be untrustworthy, self-serving cunts and normal people are now aware of Epstein after years of Alex Jones yelling into space about him.

And beyond that, the man’s a hero for stymieing the Zionist takeover of the middle east which the last 20+ years of presidencies have enabled. Greater Israel isn’t getting Syria while Trump is president.

  13. If you can make any kind of appeal from personal morality, that’s a big plus.

    Trump can—but he doesn’t, I don’t know why.

It’s way outside his wheelhouse, that’s why. Unfortunately, so are many other things even more germane to governing, not to mention running for office. He got lucky in 2016 because Hillary Clinton was even more of a horror show than Biden and Harris combined. We’ll see what happens this time–all too soon. The Forces of Reaction are particularly well-focused though.

Don’t mistake me. It’s not like Trump losing will be good for America. The Democrats already have their plans in place for cementing their rule as a permanent, single-party dictatorship. I’ve been working on a list of expected results and if anyone wants to add items I’d be grateful for ideas.

I agree with Derb’s point. Trump leaves a lot of red meat on the table. He should have a ready-made death blow for every subject, gotcha question and accusation that comes up, but he seems to be too impatient and undisciplined to more fully prepare himself. He also goes off on petty tangents now and then. I surely admire his energy, though. He’s fat and old enough to be my father, but there’s no way I could keep up with him. Regarding Trump’s “massive debt load”. Trump is a tremendous businessman who understands how the real world works well enough to succeed while playing by his own rules in bringing in buildings under budget and on time when no one else could. His numbers don’t tell the story because he gamed the system. Like all businessmen Trump is a shark, but he’s the the smartest shark.

In order to encourage enterprise, the rules were changed so a business person could come back from bankruptcy. Trump’s lawyer–son of an Orthodox rabbi Friedman who is now the Ambassador to Israel– drove a coach and horses through the newly lenient bankruptcy laws, enabling Trump to bilk his creditors like he always had his contractors (by saying ‘the project will collapse and you’ll get unless you agree to be satisfied with less that the originally stipulated amount).

Wall Street distrusted Trump as a result of his repeated rising like a financial phoenix from the financial ashes of tactical bankruptcies, so he paid a price in the denial of his access to new capital, which may have had an underappreciated effect on his thinking. He is a renegade and a traitor to his class, but not to his country.

My impression is, that Donald Trump does not understand this kind of subject at all. – And that that hangs loosely together with the – I can’t resist, sorry – huge (I hear him right in my ear now…) – with the huge fact, that he indeed, as you pointed rightfully out above, did make his money in business and that he is a businessman throughout. He is basically a utilitarian – and utilitarians act as if – morals and ethics, etc. would not be necessary really, not in the first place, for sure.

Maybe I missed something, but the cited article is about the Biden family’s investment in a Chinese business, not any preference much less effort of the “Chinese Communist Party” concerning the next Most Important Election Ever. Another Exceptional! example of this columnist’s obsession with his “Chicoms.” See also Ilana “WuFlu” Mercer’s newest, blaming and shaming the “Chinese PEOPLE” and their “wet markets” for this year’s and other viral infections. Donald Trump has paid Federal Income Tax of $1,500 over 15 years on 2 separate occassions –both at $750.

If you’ve earned anything more than a trivial income, you’d know about the Alternative Minimum Tax, which Trump paid to the tune of tens of millions of dollars after the legitimate loss and other deductions taken in his income tax calculations are backed out.

AMT is designed to ensure the rich folk who have lots of allowable deductions for income tax purposes still pay tax in some form on income they can legally shield. Ironically, it has come to screw far more upper middle class folks who don’t have an army of tax accountants and lawyers to ensure every loophole is taken advantage of. Joe Biden was a part of the coterie who wrote those laws, and he too uses them to the max.

BTW, income tax returns are not a reliable indicator of actual wealth, and provide poor insight into how wealthy someone might be. People like Trump live on cash flow, and lots of debt is an integral part of that.

To Derb’s point, for average, business is bad and politics is virtuous, because they themselves have never really engaged in legitimate commerce other than being a wage-slave and they see politicians as leveling the playing field for little guys like themselves.

It’s funny in a obscene way to see Trump’s most exuberant fans foist upon him the mantra “Drain the swamp!” What is he to do but run with it? The difference between the careerist swamp creature Biden and the outsider Trump is that while the one is highly corruptible the other is downright corrupt. If the social virtues of integrity, honesty, empathy, courage, politeness, magnanimity and so forth may be said to make the building blocks of high social organization and flourishing, the embodiment of antisocial forces of social decay – dishonesty, envy, greed, insecurity – would seem foolish to hold up as lead representative of some movement of revitalization. I must admit that I thought 6 foot tall Coulter — or 5 foot nine inch Ann Coulter — was telling tall tales about there being thirty(30) million illegal alien invaders in the United States. I guess she was right after all. Ann Coulter was using a banker estimate derived at by looking at transnational remittances and the like.

That President Trump will lose his re-election bid is a common opinion among people who wish otherwise. It’s not just me. I got an email from an old friend who is nine times smarter than I am, and a Trump voter.

    I say:

Baby boomer TREASONITE TRUMP will lose to Globalizer Geezer Boy Biden on November 3 or whenever the Hell the dust settles from the election.

Trump and the rancid Republican Party must be electorally crushed to pave the way for a new political party called White Core America. The putrid Republican Party must be destroyed to clear political space for a political party that will explicitly advance and protect the interests of Whites as Whites.

The European Christian ancestral core of the USA is under attack from the JEW/WASP Ruling Class of the American Empire and the rancid Republican Party is controlled by the corrupt Ruling Class.

I wrote this in January of 2020:

The soon-to-be-dodo Republican Party will not explicitly advance the interests of the European Christian ancestral core of the USA.

The dead-political-party-walking Republican Party will not advance the interests of the historic American nation.

The rotting and stinking carcass of the Republican Party will not advance the interests of the White Core of the USA.

Whites must allow the Republican Party to be crushed in November by refusing to support or vote for the treasonous cowards in the Republican Party.

Martin Scorsese filmed The Last Waltz movie sometime around 1978. The USA had a population of 220 million in 1978. The USA now has a population of 330 million and the majority of the births are to non-Whites and Whites are now a minority in public schools.

The Republican Party is a corrupt pack of bought and paid for swindlers — led by baby boomer Trump — and the Republican Party is controlled by Jew billionaires and other money-grubbers who push mass legal immigration and mass illegal immigration and multicultural mayhem.

White Americans born after 1965 have to turn their back on the nation wrecking politician whores in the Republican Party and give their allegiance and vote to the new political party called White Core America.

White Core America will explicitly advance the interests of the European Christian ancestral core of the USA.

White Core America will defend and protect the White Core of the USA.

It’s OKAY to be a WHITE CORE AMERICAN.

Sad to see yet another TDS victim. And I guess not surprising that a socialist can’t do basic math. Here’s some help: to determine the net worth of an individual, you need to add up their assets and then subtract their liabilities. In other words, if Trump liquidated 100% of his assets and paid off 100% of his debts, what would be left? If only someone could such an analysis… well, it turns out the Forbes has done it, and “In April of 2020 Forbes estimated Trump’s net worth—that is, assets minus liabilities—at $2.1 billion.”

Also the core premise of Derbyshire is that Trump made his living in private enterprise, that’s $2.1B made over a lifetime NOT working for government. Not bad if you ask me, but I bet the “GreatSocialist” has done better…

The entire post is a giant deflection from the true issue of how Joe Biden really got rich being a politician his entire life. We can’t have people thinking too much about that. And China never devalued its currency because of Trump’s dumbass trade war(as Trump claimed in his last debate with Biden-it’s another fantasy). In fact, its currency strengthened.

You clearly don’t understand what you are talking about here.

China pegs their currency instead of floating it and previous presidents did nothing to stop what is blatant market manipulation. China has basically taken the position that they don’t have to play by the rules if they don’t feel like it and Obama/Bush went along with it. Both Obama and Bush took it as an anti-market position to punish China with tariffs even though no one denied they were manipulating the market. Only a position so stupid that both Con Inc and US-last Democrats could support.

After Trump launched his tariffs (and China retaliated) the two finally agreed to a deal that involved China lowering its currency. I’m not sure if “devalued” is the correct term since it was never market valued in the first place. But this description is overall correct.

He even dares to lie hilariously that China is paying the Tariffs! China is not paying the Tariffs. Every American study shows that American companies are paying 99% of the Tariffs as well as American consumers.

The same lousy libertarian rationalization that both Bush and Obama bought into. Don’t punish Chinese market manipulation cause “Muh free market” ideology. Tariffs don’t simply raise prices of imported goods, they also encourage manufacturers to look elsewhere.

  59. “You Know Sometimes Words Have Two Meanings” -Led Zepplin

A linguistic hat trick. Liguistic corruption for purposes of fraud and political tyranny. Maybe the French are onto something with preventing the mis-use of language. There is a need for the prevention of language within the legal system. If the words mean nothing, or opposite or mis-understood meanings, the laws mean nothing and contracts mean nothing. Are we going to spend the rest of our lives debating what the meaning of is is?

The attack being used by Fascists and Marxists which both produce the same end result has been the attack on Liberalism and Neo-Liberalism. We keep hearing people say that Liberalism has failed and that Neo-Liberalism has failed. I would agree that Neo-Liberalism has failed, because Neo-Liberalism is Liberalism without Liberty, which is what Liberalism is and embraces an end to tyranny and an end of monarchies and feudalism starting from The Age of Enlightenment and espousing the rights of the individual and the Bill of Rights.  Neo-Liberalism, or Liberalism without Liberty, is fake generosity controlled by the government and fake inclusiveness and fake non-discriminatory practices and mandates. Neo-Liberalism is essentially equated with sunscreen directions as in apply liberally, but the only thing that they are applying liberally in actuality is bullshit.

Marxists and Fascists love to try to convince people that there is a difference between Marxism and Fascism just as Republicans and Democrats love to try to convince people that there is a difference between the two parties when the differences are miniscule.
Marxists like to say that Fascists exert power over the weak and hand power over to corporations and that Marxists like to empower the people. The outcome was the same. Volkswagon was a German Nazi project which was owned by the state. Siberia is filled with people that were forced to work in enslavement camps, and the Marxists brutally murdered untold numbers of people as well as the Fascists.

What Neo-Liberalism actually is is Liberalism without Liberty. It is fake generosity controlled by the government and fake inclusiveness and fake non-discriminatory practices and mandates. Neo-Liberalism is essentially equated with sunscreen directions as in apply liberally.

The attacks stemming from Marxist economists are basically bullshit because they admit that there is parasitism taking place by corporations and the financial sector. The Marxist economists are ferverent supporters of parasitism though, and would like parasitism to be the job of government and the surveillance state, rather than the corporate sector and the financial sector. The attack is on liberty, because they know that Marxism cannot occur simulatneously with liberty, and neither can Fascism. Marxism and Fascism are both systems of parastic tyrants.

Liberlaism is not the problem. A lack of Liberalism is the problem! Liberalism as in The Bill of Rights! They cannot survive with Liberalism because they are parasites dependent on violating our constitutional rights! They are the problem!

What if I just reject parastism regardless of where it is coming from? It is of no benefit to me to trade one group of tyrannical parasites in for another group of tyrannical parasites.

The same Marxist economist con-artists are claiming that China has succeeded economically because of government management of financial assets and the surveillance state by locking down Wuhan for the coronavirus, depriving the Wuhan residents of any and all rights and autonomy, and have criticized the U.S. stock market and corporations, but China would still be in destitute poverty if it were not U.S. corporations and the U.S. stock market, because most of the U.S. corporations are in China, and most capital gains from the U.S. stock market have flowed directly into China as a result of it. They conveniently overlook the fact that Wuhan never should have been locked down in the first place, and that the coronavirus is not a life-threatening diseease that warants such measures of absolute tyranny. All of those things are fact inconvenient for Marxist economists and when the facts are introduced, their arguments disintegrate into a pack of lies and absolute tyranny.

We must kill the beast! The stock market that has been responsible for almost all of the corruption within the government and businesses! Since March 17th, 2020, 43% of small businesses have had to at least temporarily close, and  small businesses have had to reduce staff by 40%  as a result of the scamdemic. Small business also only have two months worth of cash on hand as a result of it. This is all being done in order to transfer assets over from the honest and competent, over to the corrupt and incompetent. It is keeping the parasitic beast on life support at everyone elses expense. Since the lock down, Americas 538 billionaires have increased their networth by over $860 billion. The FMAGA  tycoons networth surged by over 38% in a fraud scam of data theft and perverted spying program psy-opped as contact tracing. Kill the beast! Or be killed by it! Those are America’s two remaining choices! It devours everything in its path, and is responsible for $21 trillion in accounting errors in a Pentagon, Treasury, Wall Street money laundering circuit with more dirty laundry than the Netenyahus visiting the White House! Not to mention all of the bail-outs!

The God damn thing is killing us! It provides a criminogenic petri-dish for corruption and it always has! It just keeps getting worse!

No we don’t know how much money Biden has because it is looking likely that he was in on “pay to play” deals where the checks went to Hunter. Did Hunter blow millions on hookers and cocaine? I doubt Joe let him have that long of a leash. I am certain there is some family wealth stored somewhere in gold or an offshore account.

What the press fails to mention is that Trump doesn’t take a salary as president which amounts to 400k a year. But that doesn’t seem to count as paying taxes even though it is a free check to the government.

Biden’s tax return shows that he contributes very little to charity which is common for Democrat politicians. He cares so much about social problems but not enough to spend his own money.

Biden is a classic slimeball politician that is not equipped for the presidency. He couldn’t remember Kim Jong’s name in the last debate (“that north korean guy”) and the Democrats have selected this guy for the most important position. Biden also forgot Romney’s name recently even though he and Obama ran against him. This is all so insulting. Oh but Trump is a jerk so we should go along with their Manchurian candidate who can’t remember the name of our most formidable enemy.

Orange man bad so please vote for Biden even if he isn’t medically competent. That is really the message. This is the first candidate where we actually had Democrats arguing that he shouldn’t debate.

Ignoring the specifics of Trump and Biden, the issue that there is a moral distinction between making money in business and making money in politics is totally absurd, because these are today the same thing!

Most modern wealthy people do NOT make their money competitive industries: they basically get it by stealing from the public treasury. Tens of trillions in Wall Street bailouts and ongoing subsidies, trillions in endless pointless winless wars that serve only to enrich politically connected defense contractors, “public-private partnerships” where the public puts up the money and takes the risk, and the “private” rich get guaranteed profits no matter how it turns out… The robber-barons of the 19th century at least built things, and had to compete, the modern rich are just welfare queens on a vast scale.

But the rich only get away with this because they have bribed politicians like Joe Biden to let them! So both “businessmen” and “politicians” are morally the same thing.

The worst thing to do is give the Democrats a supermajority.

They would raise taxes even higher and they would also ban most guns instead of facing the harsh truth of Black crime. California has some of the highest taxes and yet they still blame their education failures on Whites for not paying enough.

Both parties are in fact evil but giving one side complete control is a very bad idea. That is what not voting would do. The Democrats can always get the votes of people that are desperate. I agree with your assessment, overall, but in reality, the US dollar is manipulated since the end of the far from perfect gold standard. Iraq, Iran, Libya, Venezuela, etc are all about oil not being sold in dollars, which would, or does de-value the USD. As reserve currency, a transaction between, for example, the UK and India is settled in USD (and held in the New York Fed) which artificially inflates the USD. China’s manipulation is linked to USD manipulation. Both are bad, but one is more obvious.

  76. @GreatSocialist

Completely agree with your statements regarding this article; piece of rubbish…

The way I understood it some years ago, Trump inherited about 450 million dollars from his father allowing him to go into the Real Estate business on his own. According to some studies done at the time (early to mid 2000s or so), Trump, even by then, had so many failures accrued on his corporate bank sheet that his personal wealth never went beyond the original, personal, fortune he inherited.

Aside from all the “alleged” fraud he has committed with his taxes, I imagine the other reason he does not want to release them is the fact that then the world will know that he never increased his wealth at all, leaving him far less the billionaire he claims to be; another aspect of his fraudulence in his presentation of himself.

Why anyone would write such nonsense about Trump is beyond me but it must be from a sense of self-loathing that Trump somehow frees them from…

Biden was living large long before his “legitimate” income spiked (how?), and the fact that “book deals” are just another back-door bribery scheme is well understood by the non-dolts.

Looks like Ukraine’s economy is collapsing.

The Ukraine is a bust-out operation, and everything worth owning was stolen by a handful of Jews in the post-Soviet collapse. The same way they did it in Russia, only Putin has been able to claw some of it back for the people that it was stolen from.

Ukraine is still just a Jewish bust-out operation. The true story of the post-Soviet “oligarchs” (e.g. criminal Jewish mafia) has been very deeply buried.

Actually, Harold believes that the “anti-white stuff” (the “anti-white stuff” that most people who use these terms are referring to), as damaging as it may be to victims, is in essence just another calculated red-herring. It is apparently intended to distract the benighted masses from the real anti-all-life-on-earth-stuff that is the substance of the satanic jewish-supremacist agenda; the agenda that Trump enthusiastically implements using the illegitimate power that’s been consolidated into the office he holds. This would explain why Trump isn’t “doing anything about anti White racism.”

Thanks for allowing me an opening to bring this important point to light.

  101. Morality has nothing to do with it. Trump is as much of a crook as Biden. A person who can afford to spend $100 million on his wedding, yet paid less in taxes over the last 10 years than most Americans who won’t earn that much money over a lifetime of honest work is a crook. However, Trump is right: it was all in agreement with the law. No wonder: American tax laws were written by crooks for crooks.

The difference in the consequences. Trump would mean continuing slow decline of the Empire, likely w/o any major wars. Biden would mean accelerated decline, possibly a catastrophic crash, possibly involving WW3. As someone rightly said, senile Biden would easily press the red button: some neocon would tell him that it’s to order pizza with extra mushrooms on it.

So, any sane person would vote Trump or not vote at all, but not for moral reasons.

  107. I like Trump – I have since The Apprentice, which surprised me at the time. I like the way he communicates as a politician. When people say they don’t like his tweets, ask them why they follow him on Twitter? “I don’t.” “Then how do you know what he tweets?” “Uhhh…” The lightbulb should turn on about now…..

Here are some things I know Trump has done well: is hated by both parties; beat out 19 other candidates for the nomination in 2016; put on a great show through the whole 2016 campaign; got corporate income tax down from 35% (2nd highest rate in world!) to 21% – if you remember, many corporations as a result gave employees bonuses, higher pay, and better benefits. He reduced the personal income tax rate, which I hope becomes permanent, which put $200 more per month in my pocket. He created a booming economy that was best ever for minorities. He was the ONLY candidate last time round talking about immigration – how much he has done I don’t know but I think it is better than anyone else would have done. He has nominated good Supreme Court justices with another one on the way and lots of conservative federal judges (I saw the lib 9th circuit recently made a decent decision for a change because of a more conservative judge Trump had appointed to it). Trump pardoned Lt Lorance who was serving 19 years in Leavenworth for having served in Afghanistan and getting railroaded and scapegoated on unjust charges. Trump hasn’t gotten us into another crappy war.

Recently a young African-American man told me Trump, whom he is behind, was the first politician who ever energized him politically. I feel the same way.

Good if Trump failed in many things….if you haven’t failed you haven’t tried….

If he is owned by AIPAC, find a candidate who isn’t…

I think the reason so many people have a visceral negative reaction to Trump is because he holds a mirror up to them and embarrasses them to themselves because he is comfortable in his own skin and has been successful in this world. Just my amateur opinion.

like many people, JD says “jail” when he means prison. Prisons and jails are not identical. They differ, crucially, in many ways.

Whether there are far too many or far too few men and women in prison depends on the types of crimes and nature of the offenders. Far too many whites are in prison who are not violent and dangerous, first-offenders convicted of nonviolent and often victimless and mala prohibita crimes.

In contrast, far too few violent and/or recidivist criminals, virtually all black and brown (including Muslims), are in prison. But, lamentably, the overriding purpose of “criminal justice reform,” as now enacted, is to release from prison myriads of violent and/or recidivist criminals, overwhelmingly black, many if not most of whom will commit more violent and other mala in se crimes, and to send fewer of them to prison for shorter periods of crime, a major reason for the surge in crime since the death of Saint George in interaction with the lies and delusions about “systemic racism” and “police brutality.”

The irony and tragedy is that there should be “criminal justice reform” -rational, equitous, honest, realistic, and humane reform that would release from prison myriads of men and women, overwhelmingly white, who are not violent,, first-offenders convicted of nonviolent and often victimless and male prohibita felonies, few of whom will re-offend by committing more nonviolent and victimless and mala prohibita felonies or misdemeanors, and virtually none of whom will re-offend by committing aggravated assaults, muggings, armed robberies, rapes and gang-rapes, abductions, home invasions, acts of torture and mutilation, and murders.

To give but one of many examples: no “criminal justice reform,” no “first step act,” no early release for Abigial Simon, a former H.S. tutor in Grand Rapids, MI, convicted at trial of having sex with a 15-year-old male student whom she claims raped and bullied and terrorized her and sentenced to 8-25 years in prison and a lifetimes of electronic parole-monitoring with an ankle-tether she can never remove and public sex-offender registration -in a state in which, every year in Detroit alone, low-IQ brutes and savages, predators and psychopaths, who belong in prison, virtually all of them black and most of whom should have been buried in prison years ago, commit hundreds of rapes and murders and thousands of other violent and mala in se crimes.

  121. There still appear to be some really ignorant Trump asslovers that think he somehow did great on his Trade War against China and other countries, even though everybody in finance has accepted that it has been an utter and complete failure.

Trump failed so badly in his Trade War, that it’s not possible to fail any worse than this.

Trump said in his last debate against Biden, that his Trade War made China pay Tariffs to the US farmers. He claimed that his trade war forced China to “devalue its currency”, his own words.

That’s hilarious. In the middle of 2018, USDCNH was abt 6.50. Now its abt 6.60+. Where’s the fucking devaluation? There was never any devaluation, except that USDCNH moved around a little bit in 2019, in line with other asian currencies.

Now he says China paid the Tariffs to US farmers. Well, every single American economist and bank, and every single study by various finance houses, including the fucking Federal Reserve itself, all say that 99% of the tariffs were paid by American consumers or American importers as a tax. China never paid a CENT. Not a CENT.

    https://www.marketwatch.com/story/fed-study-finds-trump-tariffs-backfired-2019-12-27

    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-fed-tariffs-idUSKBN1XZ2A4

So where did the welfare and bailout money for US farmers come from?

Answer: The great American Taxpayer bailed out US farmers and supported US farmers as they all went on welfare because of the the great Donald Trump and his mighty Trade War against China.

Those Tariffs simply became another TAX on Americans.

And hardworking American farmers who were looking forward to a good harvest and record sales to other countries like China were made instantly into Welfare Queens, like Jamal the Urban Pimp, or Latisha the Octomom.

If anyone doesn’t believe this due to TAS(Trump Asslicking Syndrome), just look it up yourself. I don’t need to because my job was trading stuff during that period. I saw it happening right in front of my eyes.

Donald Trump screwed up really, really badly.

Then when he saw he was losing, He pretended to create some great bullshit deal, that the Chinese never agreed to, but it sounded great enough so he could spin it as a great victory to US farmers and his supporters.

China never intended to follow through on any part of the deal and so far it hasn’t at all. Not the slightest bit AT ALL. In fact, they said it exactly like that.

But every time China buys a little bit of grain or pork, Trump’s pet monkey “SoiCowboy” Navarro will scream out that China is submitting to our great manly Trump trade power.

China hasn’t followed anything in the deal at all. They’ve only bought a bit of stuff here and there when it was cheaper to buy American than buy Russian or Brazilian. That’s who China will be buying from in the future, because they can’t trust America anymore.

Look at the economy now. Did his Trade War help at all? Bring back any factories? Increase any business for America? Fuck, everything went down. In fact it was going down even before the virus. the virus just accelerated everything.

    And the trade deficit?

    https://apnews.com/article/donald-trump-global-trade-north-america-china-united-states-c6d5a4d935d8d3bca966d2395deee68d

“WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. trade deficit rose in August to the highest level in 14 years.

    Oct 07 2020

The Commerce Department reported Tuesday that the gap between the goods and services the United States sells and what it buys abroad climbed 5.9% in August to $67.1 billion, highest since August 2006. Exports rose 2.2% to $171.9 billion on a surge in shipments of soybeans, but imports rose more — up 3.2% to $239 billion — led by purchases of crude oil, cars and auto parts.

The U.S. deficit with the rest of the world in the trade of goods such as airplanes and appliances set a record $83.9 billion in August.”

And now everything is just a shitshow owned by Donald Trump.

Seems that some suffering from TAS(Trump Assloving Syndrome) keep buying the childish Trump argument that Tariffs will somehow make everything great again.

They don’t. They kill business on both sides, in this case killing mostly US business, putting US manufacturing into recession, while China simply directs its business elsewhere, after of course putting retaliatory tariffs back on the US.

And yes, that’s what the Federal Reserve said, check it yourself. This WSJ article sums it up well:

    https://www.wsj.com/articles/china-trade-war-didnt-boost-u-s-manufacturing-might-11603618203

“WASHINGTON—President Trump’s trade war against China didn’t achieve the central objective of reversing a U.S. decline in manufacturing, economic data show, despite tariffs on hundreds of billions of dollars of Chinese goods to discourage imports.

The tariffs did succeed in reducing the trade deficit with China in 2019, but the overall U.S. trade imbalance was bigger than ever that year and has continued climbing, soaring to a record $84 billion in August as U.S. importers shifted to cheaper sources of goods from Vietnam, Mexico and other countries. The trade deficit with China also has risen amid the pandemic, and is back to where it was at the start of the Trump administration.

Another goal—reshoring of U.S. factory production—hasn’t happened either. Job growth in manufacturing started to slow in July 2018, and manufacturing production peaked in December 2018.”

Trump really, really screwed over America with his foolish trade war and now his delusional refusal to do anything abt the virus. Its hilarious that some folks still suffer from TAS(Trump Assloving Syndrome).

I mean, I get it if u r a White Supremacist or White Nationalist and think that Trump represents your so-called values. Hey, sometimes I get irritated with immigrants also. But don’t go around saying Trump did great in his Trade War or did great on the Virus. That just sounds dumb.

It certainly helped Trump that his Father was a millionaire. Yet his siblings all had the same benefits, yet none of them became billionaires.

Donald Trump’s father did not pass away until 1999, and his four children each get around $50 million each when his estate was liquidated. So the inheritance could not have been the source of Donald’s wealth, which was already valued at close to a billion when his Father passed away. In 1996 the Forbes 400 indicated that Trump was worth $1.4 Billion. Thus the $50 million he inherited in 2001 was not a significant contributor to his net worth. By 2015 Forbes listed his net-worth as $4.5 billion..

While Trump’s casinos did declare bankruptcy, Trump di not escape without losses.
When Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts went Bankrupt in 2004, Trump himself was a major shareholder, so he lost out in the bankruptcy and lost control of the firm to the bondholders. Trump, who had been the majority owner, would reduce his stock ownership from 60 to 25 percent. Bondholders exchanged some of their debt for stock, and Trump was removed as the CEO. The Bondholders now owned and controlled Trump Entertainment Resorts.

Nobody is claiming that tariffs are some magical thing that they solve everything. Of course not, they only help a little bit. US manufacturing is in deep trouble. US cars do not sell oversees. US is hardly exporting any manufacturing product. Some planes maybe but that is not enough.
The reason for it is that companies years ago reduced R&D departments and some companies even did cancel their R&D departments altogether. Typical example is Chrysler where where a new General manager reduced the Engineering department to almost zero. For two or three years company made very nice profits. The down way spiral has started. Where is Chrysler now?
US is paying now for the attitude of management ” lets make the biggest profit now, and who cares for the future”.
The future is now. US is already at the point at which US export items are almost totally agricultural.
Like all shithole countries that export only food.

There is more to make senile Joe abhorrent. He pushed his wayward son Hunter Biden (who was dishonorably discharged from the US army) to a cushy sinecure in Ukrainian ostensibly gas/oil company Burisma. He was paid ~$50,000 per month in a country where average monthly salary was between 10,000 and 12,000 hryvna (i.e., $350-420; see https://tradingeconomics.com/ukraine/wages).

What’s more, when Ukrainian prosecutor general office started investigating Burisma, Biden demanded that then-president Porky dismiss prosecutor general. Indeed, prosecutor general Shokin was dismissed, and investigation of Burisma was terminated.

In essence, his financial dealings and abuse of the office of vice-president he held under Obama are just as abhorrent as his sexual shenanigans.

Indeed; and that (under the present circumstances) may be his redeeming quality, IMO.

Although his calling Putin and Xi thugs was arguably the stupidest thing any candidate said in debates in the last 20 years.

It’s certainly stupid, but that’s standard U.S. “government” enemy du jour boilerplate (to which we could add “thug” Maduro and “thug” al-Assad).

Problem is, as he is senile and venal (and pretty cheap, to boot), Biden “presidency” would be the rule of Dem puppet masters. Those are worse than any other force in the US: warmongers in foreign policy, supporters of Antifa and BLM criminals internally.

I see the situation completely differently. As I see it, the same evil people control both parties. Antifa and BLM rental mobs are just some of the stage props in the political Punch and Judy show.

I am no fan of Trump and those who stand behind him, but from my perspective these forces are a lot less evil than those pushing for walking dead moron.

This is exactly what our masters want you to think, IMO. This is why they’re running Biden against Trump in the first place (rather than someone more electable). I believe they want Trump reelected; 2020 is 2016 redux.

Now that the constitution and the rule of law are defunct, now that most or all political power has been de facto consolidated into the executive branch, the “deep state” is constrained by only one thing in its increasingly risky agenda for world domination and control: the character of the person holding the office of president.

With U.S. military, economic and political power on the decline and Russia and China rising, the “deep state” is desperate as time is not on their side. Thus the front man in the white house is perhaps more important to them than ever before. He needs to be not only a liar and a calculating, cold-blooded mass murderer, but he needs to be willing to take personal responsibility for giving orders which risk WW3. And he needs to be a self-righteous hypocrite who has no problem being in the world’s face with it all.

The person they need in the white house to challenge Russia and China at the risk of WW3 is Trump, not the “senile” “nonentity” Biden, IMO.

  158. Biden against Fracking? But Trump colluded with the Saudis to CRASH the oil price and kill American Frackers!

Hilarious that Donny is going around PA saying that Biden will ban fracking. It was Donny himself who kept pushing for lower oil prices until Prince Salman of the KSA(MBS) said, let’s use this chance with a compliant Donny to crash the oil price and kill American Frackers who are competing with us.

So KSA with OPEC extra pumped so much crude that crude collapses from $140 down to below $20, killing all the American Frackers, that need abt $40-50 to break even.

And what did Donny do? Absolutely nothing. Well, it’s hard to do anything when Prince Salman’s dick is stuck deep in your bowels, like was the case with Donny Trump.

Prince Salman owns Trump’s ass, because his money backstops the bank loans to Trump’s family company.

And did Trump say anything to Russia which also colluded with OPEC to kill the US Frackers?

    Nooooooo……

Because Putin also owns Trump’s ass. And Putin’s dick replaces Prince Salman’s dick in Trumps ass the moment Prince Salman pulls out.

    1. The same scum (those you call “our masters”) owns our lugenpresse and other MSM. All American MSM are more anti-Trump than Iranian Ayatollahs.

Well everybody knows that the MSM is an organ of the “deep state” right, so if Trump is to be portrayed as opposed to the “deep state” – which seems to be their continuing strategy – what else (besides anti-Trump feint) would you expect from them? Trump’s supporters surely expect it.

But anyone paying attention can see that the MSM is not “anti-Trump” when it comes to his many serious crimes and controversial and dangerous acts, e.g., attacking Syria, starving Venezuela, serially violating the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, trying to start a war with Iran, self-destructive trade war with China, exiting nuclear treaties and threatening all life on earth with dangerous nuclear brinkmanship, etc.; rather they’re anti-Trump when he doesn’t wear a mask or insults somebody, or tells a particularly ridiculous lie or something like that.

The MSM spends hours and hours railing against him for something silly, e.g. retweeting a video where one of his apparent supporters is heard yelling “white power,” but when the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists says were closer to nuclear armageddon now under the Trump administration than at any time in the past it’s apparently not even considered newsworthy. Doesn’t that seem a little odd to you?

Can you imagine what would happen to Trump politically if CNN gave some serious airtime to subject matter experts who are opposed to Trump’s belligerent foreign policy and could explain in plain language the risks he is taking? Of course they must avoid these subjects like the plague so they create all kinds of distractions and controversies and attack Trump for not wearing a mask.

What’s more, American media lie through their teeth, calling obvious banditry “largely peaceful protests”.

Of course they lie, and many of the lies need to be laughably absurd; that’s part of the psyop.

Some of the fat cats and companies owned by them give huge amounts of money to BLM bandits. None of this agrees with the desire to see Trump in office.

On the contrary of course it does. They need to create such a domestic “threat” so as to: (1) distract attention away from what should be an object of serious scrutiny: Trump’s dangerously confrontational “foreign policy”; and (2) to try to create a pro-Trump election issue by framing Biden as being “sympathetic” to BLM/Antifa rental mobs while portraying Trump as a paragon of law and order who’s going to protect us from this evil.

    2. Overall, the plot you suggest is way too complicated for our degenerate elites.

Seriously? What’s so complicated about it, especially for an experienced con man like Trump?Deception is what the “deep state” is all about, and as the historical record shows, they’re pretty good at it.

Their dealings with Russia, China, Venezuela, Iran, Syria, and other non-vassals shows sandbox mentality of a three year old.

Exactly! But Trump’s con game is the same mentality IMO so I’m surprised you can’t see it.

  161. @Travis

I think the most recent Forbes? article had some reporter calculating the quantum of Trump’s assets or rather his family company’s asset by some very rough valuation guessing based on income.

We know that Trump owes abt $400M+ personally in loans(from his tax returns), and that his family company owes abt $1B+ in loans which are almost for sure guaranteed by some of the directors personally. So maybe Trump has even more liabilities beside that $500M in direct debt.

As a director of my family business, whenever we ask for a loan, invariably any bank will ask all directors to guarantee the loan, so if it fails, then after forceselling whatever is left, we make up the shortfall. That should apply to Trump also.

You may be right that Trump only got a bit after his father passed on, but it is very likely that his dad had already passed up to $1B to him before his death, through shares and cash.

When Donny’s bankrupt casinos were under management by the banks, when they weren’t making enough cash, Trump writes in his book, that his dad walked into a casino and bought $3M in chips to help his son. If true, this would indicate his dad’s attitude to passing the family wealth to Donny.

In the 90s, Trump went through the forcesale of his Plaza Hotel to the KSA and a Chinese billionaire. His family company might still have $1.4B in gross assets as u noted but it would be under huge debt, making the net position zero or minus.

In fact Trump wrote himself in his book, that he told Ivana that a beggar on the street was richer than him because the beggar had nothing, but Trump owed the banks hundreds of millions.

So Trump always has been difficult to analyze when it comes to his net worth. I think Deutsche bank once said Trump/Trump’s family company was worth at most, abt $700M.

In the 90s and early 2000s, Trump was literally selling his ass to anyone who would pay him, Trump university, Trump steaks, Trump fragrance, Trump condoms.

This is not the way a billionaire behaves. It is the way a person short on money behaves.

The most recent Forbes? article has the Trump family company valued at abt gross $2B+ based on guessing by looking at income. It also has abt $1B+ of debt. So the net is probably less than $1B.

How much of those assets were funded by Israel, Russia and KSA, we’ll never know.

Trump gets to fly his airplane and live in above average properties thru his family company and using its income for his personal expenses. His tax-cheating also allows him to totally use all his family company’s income for his expenses.

Its a simple trick, but will probably open him to criminal charges and jail time if he loses the election.

Without his big daddy and Mark Burnett, nobody would even hear of Trump.

The father never had a net worth greater than $400 million, mostly in real estate. The estate was split equally among his children after he passed away in 1999.

you are stating two contrary theories.
    1. Trump inherited Billions from his Father.
    2. Trump is not a Billionaire

Trump was able to borrow a few million from his father on several occasions. Fred Trump aslo gave each of his 5 children a trust worth $1.2 million back in 1970 when they were all in their early twenties.

Most people were well aware of Trump in the 1980s and 1990s, well before his television show. This is why they gave him a TV show, he was a well known billionaire at the time.

His fathers wealth helped him tremendously , just as it helped Trumps 4 siblings. Yet none of them became billionaires. If Trump was like his brothers, we would never have heard of his name. Takes more than access to a few million dollars to become a billionaire. most children of millionaires fail to become billionaires.

  163. On this trail of comments appears “pedo-joe”, “incestuous paedophile”…
    Woo…These are grave accusations.
    Sources ?

  164. Sorry Travis, still have to respectfully disagree.

I don’t think any of us knows what the terms of Trump’s daddy’s will were, only what was reported in the media based on what unknown people said, but I am pretty sure that Daddy had alrdy passed most of his wealth over to Trump before he died.

I believe that Trump’s dad had much more than $400M before he passed away, and most of it was already passed to Trump personally or put into companies under Trump’s control.

So once again, I reiterate that Trump actually got control of $1B+ from his daddy, thru his inheritance and mostly the biggest part long before his daddy’s death and later, lost and squandered most of it in bad deals, like his 6 bankrupt casinos, his bankrupt listed company DJT, Trump University, losing his Plaza Hotel to the Arabs and Chinese at a huge loss, and also losing his Avenue of Americas deal to the Chinese again.

The FT has done some analysis of Trump’s assets and debt, I think they are too kind to him. With so much debt, literally a mountain of debt, I think we better leave off the “Billionaire” nametag for the moment. Maybe we can call him a “Billionaire of Debt”.

In any case, people often confuse Trump’s personal wealth with the assets under his family company.

Sorry to say this, but I think if Trump loses this election, he and his family company will be in a lot of trouble with his loans and may even go into bankruptcy or jail. They have a mountain of debt and if the Israelis, Arabs and Russians refuse to continue backstopping trump’s debt, and call it in, he will for sure have bad liquidity problems that may well lead to bankruptcy.

Trump has always been at best a mediocre businessman, and the big players in the property business have never been impressed with him.

He did real well in the reality series “Apprentice”, but IMO, very badly as POTUS in actual reality, esp over his Trade War and the Virus, which were probably his two biggest deal as POTUS, and he failed horribly, horribly at both, so horribly, it’s not possible to fail anymore horribly than he has failed. Just horrible.

Really the stupidest development over the past 20 years is American “dissidents”, whether far left or nationalist right, deciding that Putin is an ally. Putin is the toxic scum that Globalism produces. And without Globalism where would Putin hide all his ill gotten billions?
