As the dust from the Ferguson outrage-a-thon settles, we enter a lull in what I have dubbed the Cold Civil War: that is, the conflict between whites who see things like this and whites who see things like that, with colored auxiliaries recruited by one of the sides to groom the horses and dig field latrines.

Even in the lull between big set-piece battles, there are raids and skirmishes going on. Here are some recent ones.

Dead white males not dead enough. New York City’s communist Mayor Bill de Blasio works in, of course, City Hall. City Hall has an art collection.

There are portraits of past presidents, former mayors, military heroes and others who had a significant connection to New York City.

[De Blasio wants to revamp the art collection at City Hall, by Yoav Gonen and Josh Saul; New York Post, December 13, 2014.]

Most of the subjects of those portraits were of course persons of whiteness. So:

blasio“The Mayor and First Lady believe the art at City Hall should reflect the vibrant diversity of New York City, and discussions on how to update the building’s collection to celebrate that diversity are underway,” Mayoral spokeswoman Marti Adams [pictured right] said Friday.

Do people still say “vibrant diversity” non-ironically? I guess they do.

There has been some timid push-back against the co-mayors’ proposal.

bogart“The premise is stupid,” said Michele Bogart, [pictured white] an ex-vice president of the Public Design Commission, which oversees the portrait collection.

It’s not the insult to worthy municipal ancestors that bothers Ms. Bogart, though; it’s the missed opportunity to preach Politically-Correct sermons to City Hall visitors.

“You take down the dead white men because they represent something you don’t like in history instead of the portraits being a point of conversation. Use it as a teaching tool.”

[Former city design head blasts mayor’s plan to remove portraits, by Jennifer Bain; New York Post, December 14, 2014.]

Not even wrong. Russell Brand is a British showbiz airhead, a Lefty, of course, and rich, of course. Nigel Farage is the leader of the immigration-patriot U.K. Independence Party (UKIP) over there.

The two of them appeared recently on a TV program—I beg your pardon: programme—called Question Time, in which celebrities take questions from a studio audience.

One question was: “Is Britain really overcrowded?” Farage was the first panel member up:

If you have a country in which the population goes up as a direct result of immigration, what you find is not a shortage of green fields … you find a shortage of primary school places; you find a shortage of GP surgeries [i.e. general-practice physicians]; you find congestion, whether it’s on the roads, or the London underground [i.e. subway], or wherever you go … Having a proper immigration policy, controlling the numbers, doing what nearly 200 countries in the world do, namely controlling the numbers that come and the type of people that come, is the answer. [Applause].

The question passed to Russell Brand.

Brand went straight to the evils of capitalism:

There is a sense that there is a corrupt group in our country, using our resources, taking away our jobs, taking away our housing, not paying taxes, exploiting us. And there is … There was an economic crash and a lot of money was lost. His mates in the City [i.e. London’s financial district] farted and Nigel Farage is pointing at immigrants and the disabled and holding his nose. Immigrants are not causing the economics problems and suffering. (Loud applause from the mostly-white audience.)

Catch the harpy—white, of course—at 5m50s on the Politico clip shrieking that Farage is “a racist scumbag.”

For contrast, see the calm-spoken young fellow at 6m25s:

The point I want to make to Russell is, you say you stand up for the working classes, but … it’s the working classes that have been hit the hardest by immigration, mass immigration. Wage compression, the change in communities over a short period of time, has led to tension in the communities … It’s the people at the bottom of society that have been hit the hardest by immigration. [Scattered applause].

These exchanges illustrate a number of things.

Foremost among those things:

  • The sheer stupidity of the modern Left.

Does Russell Brand really not know that all the world’s billionaires are united in support of Open Borders: that uncontrolled mass immigration is, to put it in Brit-speak, fundamentally a bankers’ ramp?

Yes—he really does not know. His immigration position is, as physicists say, not even wrong.

  • Also the left’s coarseness. I enjoy a good fart joke as well as the next person—as well as the next male person, anyway—but there’s a proper time and place. And that foul-mouthed harpy!

This tendency has come to Cultural Marxism from actual Marxism: from Karl Marx himself, in fact. The founder of Scientific Socialism was free with low scatological abuse against those he disagreed with.

If you have the patience to watch the other panelists responding to the immigration question on YouTube you also get a look at the cringing pusillanimity of British elites, at their eagerness to give away their country rather than be accused of harboring Bad Thoughts.

Even the speakers who think Britain is overcrowded hasten to assure us that immigrants are wonderful people who have enriched Britain immensely, and that the speaker’s view of the overcrowding topic has nothing whatever to do with race. Heaven forfend!

For a glimpse of non-elite opinion on the subject, see blogger Robert Henderson:

The think-tank British Future has recently published the report How to talk about immigration based on research conducted by [polling organizations] ICM, Ipsos MORI and YouGov …

One finding is truly startling. Faced with the question “The government should insist that all immigrants should return to the countries they came from, whether they’re here legally or illegally” the result was Agree 25%, disagree 52% and neither 23%. (P17 of the report). In addition, many of those who said no to forced repatriation were also firm supporters of strong border controls and restrictive immigration policies.

[ British Future report says 25% of British adults want all immigrants repatriated, November 23, 2014]

Got that? A quarter of British adults polled want all immigrants, legal and illegal, repatriated.

ORDER IT NOW

Segregation tomorrow? Political scientist Robert Weissberg, who wrote a fine perceptive book about education titled Bad Students, Not Bad Schools, has ventured to the edge of the PC precipice in The Unz Review, arguing for selective, “culturally sensitive” law enforcement in neighborhoods populated by lower-class blacks.

No law needs to be altered and I’d guess that local police cooperation would be forthcoming. Just pay no heed to petty drug-dealing, hookers soliciting johns, illegal gambling, broken bottles, groups of feral children wandering around past midnight, open public drinking, or motorists disregarding traffic lights.

[Eliminating Future Fergusons: The Unspeakable Solution, by Robert Weissberg, December 17th 2014.]

The logic of the argument leads Weissberg to propose an increase in voluntary segregation.

What all of this adds up to is that if avoiding large scale racial confrontations is the over-riding aim, race/class segregation is probably the best solution. Moreover, judging by the reactions of most African Americans living in overwhelmingly black cities, such non-coerced segregation is an acceptable cost/benefit arrangement … Those who doubt black antipathy to racial diversity need only look at their resistance to white gentrification.

Such freely decided segregation is undoubtedly cheaper than past (and failed) solutions like Urban Renewal, Empowerment Zones, Model Cities, Head Start, gold-plated schools and all the myriad efforts at eliminating the root causes of poverty and crime. And contrary to what Mr. Holder and President Obama insist, culturally sensitive policing will certainly out-perform national dialogues on race, mandatory sensitivity training , similar measures to alter America’s racist psychology. In a nutshell, the issue is not one of white police brutality; it is whose laws will be enforced. [Links in original]

Hey, maybe it’s worth a try.

John Derbyshire [email him] writes an incredible amount on all sorts of subjects for all kinds of outlets. (This no longer includes National Review, whose editors had some kind of tantrum and fired him. ) He is the author of We Are Doomed: Reclaiming Conservative Pessimismand several other books. His most recent book, published by VDARE.com com is FROM THE DISSIDENT RIGHT (also available in Kindle). His writings are archived at JohnDerbyshire.com.

  1. Dear Mr. Unz,
Please publish more Derbyshire pieces here (and, ideally, in their entirety). Derbyshire could, in time, draw alot of eyeballs, *and* intelligent commentary, to this site. He could become as big as Sailer. He’s definitely, IMO anyway, as good.

One way or another, you need to do something to make this site look like something other than Steve Sailer and the twenty ignored dwarves.

  2. roo_ster says:

I second IJ above. Derbyshire is some high-quality writing.

Also, please publish the whole article on unz.com, as many content filters filter out vdare.

Last, how about some unz.com author interaction? Perhaps a couple authors from different points of the compass hashing out an issue. Maybe a Sailer/Napolitano inquiry into the practical effects of immigration? Or a Derb/Arrellano cultural romp.

    @roo_ster

Actually, the VDare people requested that I only release a teaser version of Derb’s columns for the first three or four days after they appear as part of our republication arrangement. The system automatically switches to providing the entirety after that.

As for other suggestions, I’ve unfortunately been *totally* preoccupied with a major software project for the last few months and haven’t been able to devote any significant time or effort to The Review. When that changes, there are certainly all sorts of things I’d like to do to enhance and extend it, both on the content side and also on the software side.

    Roger that.

More than fair for re-publishing Derbyshire’s columns. Those stuck behind content filters–which are breeding at many wifi access points–will just have to be patient.

Good luck with your software project. Unz.com is already ahead of many big name political/news websites in terms of usability.

  5. Anonym says:

Even if Steve wrote at the NYT it would look like that. The Derb is very good though.

well its pretty sweet page ya got going Mr Unz, drives itself you say , I wonder how long until the pre-medative type sallys forth & claims something must be done about this unbroken, freedom of speech herein uniquely contained on the very fine open thought cetaneint articles WITH feedback threads “intact, probably some gorgous thing with the ultimatums finer points OR some schmucky mutt from the riot & nightmare on false flag avenue & status quo boulavard drive, lol, carry on!

White people have to stop shrinking whenever the “racist” epithet is thrown at them. You’re damned in the eyes of your enemies no matter what you do, might as well own the insult, besides there is nothing wrong with racism (it is an evolved, beneficial trait) and leftists are as racist as anybody I know. Leftists are racist, blacks are racist, asians are racist, Jews are racist, latinos are racist. Generally, they are all racists, in ways that are often more so than your typical quivering white man.

I freely and forthrightly acknowledge that I am a racist whenever I deal with leftists or timid, faithless “conservatives”, then I immediately accuse them of racism too, and I have a number of rhetorical strategies with plenty of statistical and anecdotal information relative to their own lives that make them cringe and immediately shut up and move away from me.

Do not try to persuade or convert leftists to your view, they are hopeless, they are so caught up in their self regard that they are superior to the white prole, aim to destroy and humiliate them, a better tactic.

  9. @Daniel H

I’d be interested to hear more. I could use some rhetorical weapons. I usually just shut up, which is frustrating and prevents possibly useful conversation.

… that make them cringe and immediately shut up and move away from me.

Ah but that’s no good for me. All my friends and family are leftists, with maybe 1 in 50 a timid conservative. I don’t want to drive everyone away and end up all alone!

Re: Derb, as many may already know, there’s more content at the link below, including many Taki’s magazine articles and podcasts, and occasional contributions to other publications such as the Claremont Book Review and The New Criterion:

All good points. And like others around here, I wouldn’t mind hearing some of your rhetorical parries. Ironically, my own dealings are as often as not with “faithless” conservatives, those of the “I don’t see color” variety, as opposed to a constant stream of lefties.

Regardless of the person’s political affiliations, I find pointing out that their rhetoric doesn’t match their life is a good strategy. Things along the lines of:

    1. If you’re so color-blind, why do you live in a neighborhood that’s 90% white? There a lot cheaper neighborhoods that have a lot more diversity. Why didn’t you choose one of them?

    2. I find that if you really want to know what a person believes, don’t ask if they’re liberal or conservative, look at what they do with their money and their kids. And you, sir, send your kids to a school that’s nearly 90% white and Asian. If you really believed in diversity, you’d send your kids to a more mixed school. Why don’t you?
_ Btw, most people reply that they didn’t look at the school racial mix, they were just looking for a good school. It’s just by chance that this good school is mostly white and Asian.
_ The comeback is to ask them if they can point out any majority black and/or Hispanic school that’s good. They always answer that they have no idea because they’re not obsessed with race.

I also find that people really hate to have their intelligence questioned. Apparently, the only thing worse than being a racist is being seen as unintelligent, so I like to use the Darwin Defense when someone says, “So you’re a racist?!” I reply:

    1. No. I believe in Darwin and the theory of evolution. Don’t you? Are you saying that humans just stopped evolving after they left Africa? That we’re different from every plant and animal in that we don’t evolve as we face different environments? So you’re a creationist like the evangelical Christians that you mock?

I tend to like to force them to answer a question. It puts them on the defensive and forces them to explain themselves rather than just calling you a name.

Another stab at their intelligence is:

    1. I’m not so much a racists as someone who can do fourth grade math. I can look at statistics and recognize an obvious pattern. Apparently, that’s a bit much for you. What about blacks committing violent crime at nearly eight times the rate of whites is so difficult for you to understand? What about the abysmal scores of blacks on any test that measures intelligence?
_ Often the answer is that these are the result of the legacy of racism and mean white people. Here’s the reply: Perhaps. But if that’s the case, shouldn’t be trying to remedying that through your own action. Why don’t you move a black neighborhood so that they can see that not all white hate them? Why don’t you have your kids in a majority black school so that blacks can get to know decent white and your kids won’t succumb to racism?

Again, put the onus on them to explain their own behavior. It works well. However, that’s the problem, isn’t it. It works too well. Nobody’s eyes light up and tell you that they were wrong and now they see the light. They just get pissed that you called them out. And everybody else in the room gets pissed that you called that person out because they’re all doing the same thing. Nobody wants to be reminded of their hypocrisy.

Basically, what they’re thinking is, “Why can’t you just shut up. I don’t want to face this in my head. We’re all upper middle class here. We don’t have to deal with these things. You’re making a scene for no reason.”

That’s why I’ve laid off these attacks over the past couple of years. I wasn’t getting any converts and it was causing social problems for my family. Yep, it’s always the family where you’re the most vulnerable.

Anyway, I still tweak people every once in a while.

  11. @Daniel H

Leftists are racist, blacks are racist, asians are racist, Jews are racist, latinos are racist. Generally, they are all racists, in ways that are often more so than your typical quivering white man.

This point has been made before– on Broadway, no less.

  13. @Citizen of a Silly Country

I hear you! It’s a a very old rule to avoid religion and politics, les sujets qui fâchent, if you want to keep things friendly. But the disconnect gets wearisome: “We are all right-thinking people who agree on these basic tenets of polite society, that this is good, this is bad…” No we are not and no we don’t agree, but I won’t say anything except in the most indirect of ways, because I don’t want to start a fight and be banned from polite society or my job etc. I just hope you’ll come around some day. The sooner the better. And yeah I feel more than a little uncomfortable about practicing such hypocrisy.

  14. Geoff says:

I thought Derb was going to mention the Eskimos. He still doesnt get it that illegal immigration is a perfect tool if destruction of Caucasian countries is the desired end state.

  15. @European-American

Yep, it’s a damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation. I can either speak up and get my family ostracized, or keep my mouth shut and feel like one of the few remaining humans in Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

However, I agree, it’s really is hard to follow along once you’ve seen the truth. I wish someone would have asked me beforehand if I wanted to take the pill. I took it more or less by accident and now I’m stuck.

What continually surprises me is just how tightly conservatives hold onto the narrative. They just change it slightly. Instead of the white racism, it’s culture and a lack of a free market that keeps blacks down. The conservatives don’t get nearly as much smug self-satisfaction from the narrative, but they still won’t give it up. They don’t have much mentally invested in the narrative, so they should see the truth. But they don’t. It’s weird. I get the lefties, but the conservatives confuse me.

It does make me wonder if NW Europeans really are wired differently. It seems like tribalism has been cleansed from our DNA. OTHO, we certainly were nationalists up to the mid-20th century, and books from before ~1950 seem extremely race aware. And, yet, at this point in time, it’s as though whites can’t even conceive of the idea of being members of a tribe, a people. As far as I can tell, they rather die out as a race than admit to being a race.

As a good HBDer, I have to entertain the idea that whites evolved in the Middle Ages in a way that was awesome for the period of 1500-1950, but that many of our attributes that worked so well in the past, just don’t in this environment. So either we evolve again, or we’ll get wiped out.

  16. There are always multiple lines of logical attack against a leftist argument but we in and on the right have a far greater problem than looking for the non-existent one best argument. We lack leadership at the national, state and local levels. There is no Goldwater, Reagan, JFK or Ike around whom to rally. (Yes, I know JFK was a democrat but he was a leader from the get-go. Americans still admire him and he’s been dead 40 years. Nobody misses Teddy though do they?)

What have we? Two fatsos in Christie and Bush both of whom are AKs (ass-kissers) of the first magnitude. Christie is a typical prosecutor/bully type who sucks up to Hussein and the NYT types. Bush is a racist who loves Latinos and wants more millions of them ahead of people of any other group while simultaneously decrying racist Republicans. Plus he gives medals and accolades to Hillary. What was he thinking? Rubio is still a kid; Paul and Cruz don’t lead; they argue. Neither Bush president was much of a leader either though the Father was respected by other nation’s leaders. He literally had none of that vision thing and thus, by default, had no place to which he could lead us. George was helpless and hopeless; leaders do not mumble for one thing. Ryan is already a sell-out; a suit type. McConnell? You can’t be serious; as weak as his jowls are flabby. Santorum? Huckabee? Yuk. Scott Walker? Doesn’t make an impression or hasn’t.

Frankly, Republican women are better leaders than the men. They have that vision thing; can argue their case well and are unassailable on many points as even Sarah couldn’t be tagged with the rape culture mantle or the war on women. For those reasons the left loves Warren and Clinton.

Who do we have? Nobody. The Derb is right. We Are Doomed. For a while longer. Someone shall arise from the ashes but, so far, (s)he is not in sight. No Churchill or Maggie.

    That’s the problem unfortunately.

  17. @Citizen of a Silly Country

I wasn’t getting any converts and it was causing social problems for my family. Yep, it’s always the family where you’re the most vulnerable.

I stay out of discussions with my wife’s family, who are uniformly liberal. The problem is that their basic assumptions are so different than mine, and the sources they trust for information, which are confined to NPR and the NYT, means that whatever points I make will be so alien to them that I might as well be speaking gibberish. Whatever facts I present will be ignored if they haven’t been validated by liberal sources.

I am open to new information and over the years have changed a number of my views as a result. However, most people I know on the left define themselves by their membership in good standing within that group and are not really interested in changing any of their views.

  18. Svigor says:

I freely and forthrightly acknowledge that I am a racist whenever I deal with leftists or timid, faithless “conservatives”, then I immediately accuse them of racism too, and I have a number of rhetorical strategies with plenty of statistical and anecdotal information relative to their own lives that make them cringe and immediately shut up and move away from me.

I used to do that. Now I just go straight into calling them racists, and highlighting the ingrained racism of the left. I figure their accusations of racism aren’t worth bothering with. Sort of how being a leftist means never having to say you’re sorry.

Ah but that’s no good for me. All my friends and family are leftists, with maybe 1 in 50 a timid conservative. I don’t want to drive everyone away and end up all alone!

You won’t. The ones worth having will still be there.

Regardless of the person’s political affiliations, I find pointing out that their rhetoric doesn’t match their life is a good strategy. Things along the lines of:

Animals that are “color-blind” go extinct. I want my kind to continue to exist. On the other hand, it’s probably the best that the “color-blind” types leave our gene pool, which is something that I make sure to tell them. Jews are a great tool here. Show all the ways in which they are the opposite of “color-blind.” Force the reality of Jewish behavior into close proximity to the taboo against criticising Jews for anything, ever.

So, they’re fine with lying because they’ve found a way to make plausible denial work for them. Maybe just tell them pretty lies don’t work for you, and leave it at that.

Personally, I find the fact that libs have placed the collective blame for black failure on whites, and have restructured the system to reflect the presumed guilt of the white race, to be too much to ignore. I’m one of those people who, if I see someone being falsely accused, feels the need to speak up. Unlike some folks. That’s what I’d say to them – that I’m not okay with injustice, even if they are.

If libs wanted color-blindness, they shouldn’t have accused whites of causing black failure. They shouldn’t have lined white children up to take the fall for black failure, in perpetuity. They made race-realism a moral imperative when they did that.

You forget that they called you stupid/racist in the first place. This silence would be a great time to remind them.

You might want to work in a, “I bet Jews in Germany before WWII didn’t want to talk about it, either. I bet they thought it was making a big fuss out of nothing, too. Bet hindsight is 20/20, though. Why wait for hindsight? Why not get out ahead of it? Idiots wait for problems to become fatal before addressing them, but why should we? This as an answer to people who scoff at the idea of things going badly for whites in future.

I hear you! It’s a a very old rule to avoid religion and politics, les sujets qui fâchent, if you want to keep things friendly.

The problem with that is libs incessant calls for “Amen!” They’re always throwing their politics (religion) on the table for everyone to see.

But the disconnect gets wearisome: “We are all right-thinking people who agree on these basic tenets of polite society, that this is good, this is bad…”

Precisely. They bring it up, and that’s your opening. If they’d learn to STFU about politics, it’d be different.

I’d just needle them all the time about how close-minded, insular, and parochial they are. And how laughable the liberal delusions of open-mindedness are. Or, just speak generally about “people like that,” might be even more effective.

  19. One way to talk to “leftists” is to frame it that by you’re actualy more left wing than they are. Immigration is bad for workers wages. Immigration is good for billionaire profits. Immigration is bad for affordable family formation. Diversity is bad for worker cohesion which makes unions ineffective. Black crime hurts other poor people the worst. Etc.

Conservatives” arent going to automatically hate you for being racist so you can basically go nuts. Just remain calm and pleasant. One good think is to ask them whether they would rather have the Dow at 30,000 or have more grandchildren.

  20. Harold says:

On another Question Time someone answered in response to the information that the most popular boy’s name is Mohammed (and its variants), that Britain has “always been diverse”.

One day it’s: Isn’t it wonderful how all these different peoples have so cultural enriched our boring, monochrome country? The next day: We’ve always been diverse, what’s the big deal?

  21. Old fogey says:

Disgusting.

Thank you so much sir! I am amazed. Congratulations to you and to your highly-efficient processing software!

A happy and prosperous new year to you!

  25. Most westerners already believed firmly in sacred bleu-Bubble-narrative as it was true, leftism, exactly same thing, Christianism created by schizophrenic jews like leftoidism. Christianism is a cultural co-evolution, like leftoidism now. But people generally are unconsciously irrational, even the ‘high iq ones”.

  26. Only a new ”holy” war, a modern ”religious” cisma like in middle ages. Leftoidism is a new christianism, literalized christianism.

Bs: religion in their pure concept is a ”search by God, by all answer, true, harmony, etc…”. Even Science can be called ”rational religion”.
Christianism is a culture more than ”religion”. The closest REAL religion is a Buddhism.

  27. Gordo says:

“So either we evolve again, or we’ll get wiped out.”

Heck no, we are perfectly evolved, altruism included, to do well in a White country.

Once we have a White country again there are no limits to what we can achieve.

  28. I agree that what we lack is a true leader. But how does such a leader arise in a world where the media is exclusively leftist? I can’t even watch Fox News because of the outrageous leftist spin on everything. They can never speak the Truth That Shall Not Be Named (TTSNBN – not even a good acronym). Human biology is absolutely central to human behavior. Without acknowledging biological differences in populations, we cannot rationally discuss ANY aspect of politics, education, policing, etc. So EVERYTHING in public discourse is predicated on fantasy.

Honestly, it’s to the point where I just can’t stand to live in such a world any longer.

that is, the conflict between whites who see things like this and whites who see things like that:

Ah, the Derb applies his razor-sharp analytic skills to the problem of White vs White. Yes, sure, Tim Wise is white. Just like Karl Marx, Franz Boas, Stephen Jay Gould, Leon Trotsky, Saul Alinsky, Sabrina Rubin Erdley et multissimi alii. And Obama is half-white, so presumably he’s part of it too. In fact, given that we’re all the same under the skin, is it not really a case of Human vs Human?

Strangely, though, this White vs White isn’t taking place in the thoroughly white nation of Israel. I wonder why that is?

I’m an American that wishes Britain would send us Nigel Farage and take back the annoying and unfunny Russell Brand.

  31. I don’t even bother with proselytizing. One of my enduring rules for living is, “Never argue with an idiot because people watching might not be able to tell the difference”.

When somebody starts in with some of the left-lib idiocies, I just look at them incredulously and remark, “I didn’t think anyone actually believed any of that stuff” and leave it at that.

  32. “Liberals say we should end employment discrimination. I say we should end employment. Conservatives support right-to-work laws. Following Karl Marx’s wayward son-in-law Paul Lafargue I support the right to be lazy. Leftists favor full employment. Like the surrealists — except that I’m not kidding — I favor full *un*employment. Trotskyists agitate for permanent revolution. I agitate for permanent revelry. But if all the ideologues (as they do) advocate work — and not only because they plan to make other people do theirs — they are strangely reluctant to say so. They will carry on endlessly about wages, hours, working conditions, exploitation, productivity, profitability. They’ll gladly talk about anything but work itself. These experts who offer to do our thinking for us rarely share their conclusions about work, for all its saliency in the lives of all of us. Among themselves they quibble over the details.” Black

War is going to make work where there was leisure. That is going to create more debt all in order to invade other nations. That’s exactly why Russia is having lots of trouble. France and Europe are having trouble thanks to US invasions in middle east. Robotics are going to kill more jobs and create more leisure.
