  3. O/T Urgent message to Steve Sailer:

    You have a golden opportunity, tonight, Steve, to reverse the ctrl-left’s anti-white agenda that has been building over the last few years. These people are not just anti-science, but also scientifically and numerically illiterate. Here’s what you do: Bring some of that donation money we’ve been sending you, head post-haste down to Western Union, and send out a mess of tweets to all the usual ctrl-left haters, Amy Harmon, Sarah Jeong, Tim Wise, all elected officers of the Kings of Hate at the $PLC, and so on… it may cost you….

    “Let it be known to all those who don’t like the white man – ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! If this anti-white hatred does not CEASE AND DESIST by 0512, Greenwich Mean Time on the twenty-first January of the Year of Our Lord 2019, I will proceed to completely blot out the moon! There will be no more moon, period. If receive words in agreement from all recipients of these tweets* by that hour, lo and behold, I will release the moon back into the custody of mankind. You’ve been warned. So let it be tweeted, so let it be done!”

    Hat tip, Cristobal Columbus.

    Who is Anne Helen Petersen?

    She claims to be “based in Missoula, Montana.” My first thought was “California refugee”? Not sure. Perhaps her parents were. But by the late 1990s at least, she is in Montana. Here she is briefly sketching out some biographical details:

    I was born in 1981, which places me on the far end of what marketers call “old millennials” […] I graduated from college in 2003 and spent the next decade moving all over the place: Over my graduate career and following attempts to secure a job, I moved to Seattle, Oregon, Texas, Vermont, and back to eastern Washington state before ending up in New York.

    Here is a Lewiston, Montana publication claiming her:

    After graduating from Lewiston High School in 1999, [Petersen] studied film and media at Whitman College, went to University of Oregon for a master’s degree and got her doctorate at University of Texas in Austin.

    Education:

    Lewiston High School
    [Lewiston, Montana] (2000 Census: 95% White, 0.3% Black)
    Graduated 1999

    Whitman College, 1999-2003
    [Washington State]
    B.A., Rhetoric and Film Studies, Summa cum laude; Phi Beta Kappa

    University of Oregon
    [Eugene, Oregon] (2000 Census: 91% White, <1% Black)
    M.A., English and Film Studies
    2005 – 2007

    The University of Texas at Austin
    Ph.D., Media Studies
    2007 – 2011
    Dissertation: “The Gossip Industry: Producing and Distributing Star Images, Celebrity Gossip, and Entertainment News, 1910 – 2010.”

    Ensconced in the education-bubble-world all through her 20s. Turned thirty the year she took her Media Studies PhD. Has been bubbling along since.

    This is a a MAJOR part of the hidden story here.
    No doubt the vast majority of Americans know nothing of these people.
    By contrast, those who have spent time in downtown DC, Philly, NYC or maybe Boston, I think, are well acquainted with them. But most “educated” whites who spend time downtown in those cities tend to be “progressives” of some sort. Even if they realize perfectly well that those crazy black guys hate them, they have no “official narrative” that allows discussion of this.
    The entire ACTUAL “confrontation” here (as opposed to the story behind the median spin) seems to arise from the confused responses of the Native Americans and the Catholic boys to the vitriol spewed by the “Hebrews”.
    Here is one reposting of the long vid originally posted by the Black Hebrew videographer:

    Definitely take a look if you’ve never this crew in person.

    “I write about culture, broadly defined — with a focus on the Mountain West and celebrity culture.”

    “Broadly defined” give a tiny hint that she may know she doesn’t really write about – or probably even know about – actual culture. There used to be a good site called martinlutherking.rg that had all the truthful information but it is sadly no longer on line.

    Garrow, his biographer, admitted that he was a massive plagiarist:

    HOW KING BORROWED
    By David J. Garrow
    November 18, 1990

    THERE IS little that is either pleasant or simple in the controversy concerning Martin Luther King Jr.’s extensive plagiarism in his graduate school term papers and doctoral dissertation in the early 1950s.

    It is unpleasant both because plagiarism is a distasteful subject, and because this scholarly discovery provides longtime opponents of the civil rights movement with one more opportunity to call into question the goals and meaning of the struggle that King came to symbolize. Perhaps the one bright spot is the commendable frankness with which both the King Papers Project researchers and the press have handled the story.

    Nor is the King plagiarism a simple matter. First, neither the project editors nor those of us in the scholarly community who have reviewed their findings have any dependable explanation for why King did what he did, nor can they say how aware King was of having done wrong. There is no getting around the fact that the scale of King’s unattributed borrowings — almost word-for-word copying of sentences and whole paragraphs without benefit of quotation marks on scores of occasions, often without minimal footnoting — is extensive and substantial. In particular, King’s heavy reliance on an unpublished dissertation completed three years earlier by Boston University doctoral candidate Jack Boozer is especially egregious.

    He was not an honestly hooded Ph.D, his real name was not Martin Luther King, Jr, and he was using church funds to buy prostitutes and often beating them up. Also, known communist Stanley Levinson said King was “a slow thinker”, leading many to conclude King’s pattern of textual appropriation was because he was simply incapable of writing coherently otherwise:

    The FBI file, titled “Martin Luther King, Jr. A Current Analysis” and dated March 12, 1968 was part of 553 files relating to the assassination of former president John F. Kennedy, released by the US National Archives this week.

    Under the heading “Strong Communist Influence,” the FBI report discussed how King’s “principal advisor” was a Jew named Stanley David Levison.

    The FBI report said:
    Another complicating factor in the picture is the degree of communist influence on King. One of King’s principal advisors is Stanley David Levison. Ostensibly only a New York City attorney and businessman, Levison is, in fact, a shrewd, dedicated communist. Levison has spent the major part of his life advancing communist interests.

    He has actively involved himself in fund-raising drives for King, served as his legal counsel in certain-matters, suggested speech material for him, discussed with King demonstrations in which King was involved, guided him in regard to acceptance or rejection of various public appearances and speaking, and helped him with mattets related to articles and books King has prepared.

    Levison edited most of the chapters of King’s new ‘book entitled “Where Do We Go From Here; Chaos Or Community?” Levison wrote one chapter of this book and the publisher’s representative complained to King and Levison that it was obvious certain sections of the book were written by different, individuals.

    The FBI report also makes it clear that Levison was the one who effectively controlled all of King’s public utterances.

    Stanley Levison has told Clarence Jones, another advisor to King, that under no circumstances should King be permitted to say anything without their approving it. Levison also informed Jones that King is such a slow thinker he is usually not prepared to make statements without help from someone.

    Under the heading “Subversives Attracted,” the FBI report provided further background to Levison, dealing with his formal position within the Communist Party, USA (CPUSA):
    Stanley Levison was attracted to King and SCLC when King gained national attention. Levison soon developed a close relationship with King and was known in King’s group as “Assistant Chief.” In 1961, he was assistant treasurer of SCLC [Southern Christian Leadership Conference].

    Prior to joining forces with King, Levison led a double like for the Communist Party, USA (CPUSA). Outwardly he was a successful businessman but he was also the clandestine fundraiser for the CPUSA. He was entrusted with raising and handling secret funds for the Party and used some of these funds to finance his own activities.

    The reason King enjoyed this close relationship with communists is best explained by the fact that Levison, in February, 1962, passed the word to Gus Hall, General Secretary, CPUSA, “King is a whole-hearted Marxist who has studied it (Marxism), believes in it and agrees with it, but because of hi being a minister of religion, does not dare to espouse it publicly.”

    white women are a kind of class enemy.

    Understand, these are not White Women.

    What we are dealing with is a subclass of White women who are (including but not limited to): overeducated, spoiled, entitled, “family-last” careerist, rotating-polyandry-ist, urban, de-Christianized, and radicalized by regime media to hate Middle America and virtue-signal against it.

    The polling and exit-polling data is clear that there is little/no political gender gap for married White women. The gap is with the type I describe above (in polling, a workable proxy for this destructive subclass is “single White female with college degree”).

    It does seem Petersen is one of these. I doubt she is, deep down, very proud of herself. In her defense, I think she would be a fine person given more favorable political conditions. Sadly, it is too hard to extricate herself from the political-psychological muck she has swum around in for at least twenty years.

    What a waste. If reincarnation exists, better luck next time, Anne.

    Thanks. Click and (the younger) Petersen do have remarkably similar trajectories.

    (Some reading this may not remember that Click’s firing from U. of Missouri for apparent promotion of / coordination of violence against non-left-wing media. The frivolous, malcontented, far-left protests at University of Missouri in fall 2015 were so bad optically as to be notable in any political biography of MAGA, as they came right during its to rise to dominance, fall 2015.)

    Melissa Click Bio (cf. Anne Helen Petersen bio, on which comments follow):

    1969: Melissa Click is born in southwest Virginia to parents without college degrees;
    1988: Graduates high school (Cave Spring High School, Roanoke County, Virginia) and reaches her adult height of 5’0″; begins to attend her home-state James Madison University in Virginia (2.5 hours southwest of Washington DC);
    ca. early 1990s: “While in Washington [presumably DC] for a feminist punk-rock concert, [Click] marched for women’s rights” for the first time;
    1993: Graduates with BBA in Marketing from James Madison University, Minor in Women’s Studies (the first-ever such minor awarded by this university);
    2000: Graduates with MA from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Thesis: “Who dunnit?: The utility of theorizing (in)visible identities in feminist action.” Late in 2000 would earn a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Feminist Studies University from Amherst;
    Early 2000s: Begins PhD work at Amherst, with a dissertation on Martha Stewart. “While writing her dissertation, [Melissa Click] moved to Missouri to follow her now-husband, Richard [‘Chip’] Callahan [pic at link], an associate professor of religious studies at the public flagship. The transition from Amherst to the Midwest was difficult. But eventually, Ms. Click
    found a farmers’ market, she says, became a visiting instructor at the university, and
    befriended other East Coast transplants”;
    2003: Hired by the University of Missouri;
    2000s: In her CV and other documents, her research interests are listed as: “Media Audiences and Fans * Television Criticism * Popular Culture * Gender & Sexuality”;

    Nov. 2015: Deeply involved in agitation on campus of University of Missouri that was making international headlines. Resigns from University of Missouri following media revelation that she was coordinating “muscle” to intimidate media. (Formally hired by university panel, Feb. 2016);
    Summer 2016: Hired by Gonzaga University to teach Communications 100 and other courses (still at Gonzaga as of at least Fall 2018 semester);
    2017: Click’s latest published article is “‘You’re born to be brave’: Lady Gaga’s use of social media to inspire fans.” Click’s husband Chip Callahan the Missouri Religious Studies professor takes a yearlong leave of absence, presumably to be with Click; Meanwhile, back at Missouri, “freshman enrollment for the fall 2017 semester was down 35% compared with two years earlier. Seven dormitories were temporarily closed and 400 positions were cut” following the chaos and bad press of 2015.

    [Correction, edit window expired before time allotment]:

    – Melissa Click was b. 1970/1971; HS class of 1989 in Roanoke, Virginia.

    ________________________

    Brutusale is right that Melissa Click’s bio is very similar to Petersen’s.

    The main differences I see:

    [1.] Click is ten years older than Petersen;

    [1a.] (Comment: There are probably, per-capita, a lot more such women in the b.1981 cohort (Petersen) than in the b.1970 (Click) cohort; What are b.1991 and b. 2001 shaping up to be?);

    [2.] Click has stayed in academia longer, and remains there. Petersen taught for several years after getting her Celebrity Gossip PhD but now seems to have transitioned to The Media full-time, a perch from which she is a willing participant in any and all Anti-WhiteMale Two-Minute Hates that get bullhorned at us;

    [3.] Click has been in a long-term relationship since around her early 30s with her husband (their twenty-year anniversary of meeting will be in the early 2020s) and has three children born when she was in her mid 30s to early 40s; Petersen is unmarried with no children and it’s unclear what degree of relationship stability she has as age 40 approaches.

    This is what Petersen (soon turning 38) wrote on her blog in early Jan. 2019:

    This year I took a vacation over those dumb in-between days [late Dec. 2018 to early 2019] and did my favorite thing on New Year’s: went out to a very good dinner, got slightly blitzed on champagne, talked with my boyfriend about all our favorite things of the year and the favorite things to come, and then fell asleep before the streets of Tulum [Mexico] filled with fireworks and revelers burning effigies of Trump

    This implies, to me, that Petersen is not only not married but has no children, and no likelihood of the latter in 2019, meaning that if she does get around to it, it’ll likely be a birth with the mother (Petersen) past age 40, if by then it’s even possible for her. (But, then, getting a Celebrity Gossip PhD is life’s gold-standard, tomorrow never comes, and we never get old, so why worry?)

    [4.] Petersen speaks with distinct “vocal fry” [see a Petersen lecture on celebrity gossip on Youtube] while the older Click speaks more pleasantly (sans vocal fry) [see interview with CBS, “I believe that video does not represent who I am as a person.”].

    Here is Petersen in her early 30s:

    ___________________

    Comment: For all Click’s faults, her family orientation (longterm stable relationship, three children) is still admirable and are a positive mark in her favor, say what you will about her quasi-Marxist politics (in the Chronicle of Higher Education interview, she defended using a textbook that “featured a Marxist critique of the media,” and reported surprise that Missouri students had grumbled at it.)

    Petersen is a downgrade.

    Eventually, our system have to turn this around and produce, per capita, a lot fewer of these people (overeducated, entitled, social-justice types). If these two women are indicative of their age cohorts, the b.1981 cohort is ‘worse’ than the b.1971 cohort, continuing a slide several decades old.

    (In fairness: “It’s not their [White b.1980ers’] fault,” as they came of age in pretty unfavorable political conditions.)

    I await better news on the b.1991 and b.2001 cohorts. Hope springs eternal for the b.2011 cohort now turning eight years old, and the not-yet-conceived b.2021 cohort…

    Which neighborhood are they a blight on?

  111. @Anon

    Yes, I got that. Only the first paragraph of the comment that I submitted went through. (Truthfully, that might have been for the best.)

    The original comment was:

    Where do you live? In Miami, public-school kids get a four-day weekend for MLK Day.

    Is this a national trend, or what? Will the schools just keep adding more and more days to the MLK holiday until eventually it becomes the replacement for “winter” break? We already have Black History Month; can Black History Semester be far behind? Black History Year? Black History Decade? Black History Century? Black History Millennium?

    No doubt your children agonized over the decision to send your grandkids to private school, knowing that they would be denying their progeny the delightful benefits of exposure to government-enforced diversity. They must have tossed and turned for nights on end.

    After all, how could any conscientious parent deny the kiddies such a valuable opportunity to revel in the wonders of the Negronomicon? Are not the children of Ham the true elect of our age?

    Repent, all ye pasty deplorables! Repent!
