Well, it turns out that police shootings made up 7.1% of all white homicide victimizations compared to only 1.7% of black homicide victimizations. So whites who die by homicide are about four times for likely to be shot by a cop than blacks who die by homicide and about twice as likely as Hispanics who die by homicide.
Why are the cops shooting so many whites relative to the the threat that whites are in and/or pose?
My guess is that suicide-by-cop is much more common among whites, while the contrary black tendency toward homicidality helps gets them shot by scared cops more.

Your guess is right on the money. My home town is proof.
A fellow was dogged by student loans, his wife taking off, and his health getting bad. All this and he wasn’t 30 yet. He called the cops from his cell, and told them a “gunman” was loose in the the neighborhood. It was after dark.
The cops pulled up and saw him between two houses with a handgun. They fired enough rounds to kill a football team. After which they discovered the gun was a blackened old squirt gun and the cell phone in his pocket was used to call them.
What impressed me was how white guys plan so meticulously. Even in the depths of despair and anger. Nothing sloppy about it; as soon as police see the shadow of a gun at night the story only ends one way.
The woke term for police-involved shootings with a white victim is “suicide by cop” because we cannot ever be allowed to have sympathy for white victims of violence in any way.
Unless the victim is transgender, of course.

A lot of obvious points to be made on this subject, but innumeracy – whether deliberate or not – is a fundamental element of modern mainstream journalism, often paired with a distinct lack of curiosity in phenomena beyond the talking points of favored advocacy groups.
Obviously our cultural guardians want to keep certain inconvenient facts away from the public, but from my own interaction with younger journalists, they simply are not that smart nor do they view it as their responsibility to try to determine if the ‘facts’ presented to them actually make sense. Possibly their editors know better, but obviously they don’t demand more from their staff.
During Floydmania, the WaPo diligently assembled a database of all fatal cop shootings and sorted them by race, and even at one point admitted in an article that in 80% of the killings of blacks who were classified as unarmed, the deceased had been actively assaulting or threatening either cops or other people at the scene. Despite having a lot of fairly accurate data at their fingertips, Post journalists and editors continued to pump out ‘news’ articles and op-eds painting America as having an epidemic of unjustified cop-on-black killings.
Based on my anecdotal YouTube viewing of police shootings, your suicide-by-cop theory seems sound.

In the U.S., Pakistanis tend to be Medical Doctors or something similar, while in the UK they’re the “Asians” which engage in street crime and gang activities.
Is there something about the UK immigration system that selects for the worst Pakistanis, and the U.S. system the best? I can’t imagine anything about the U.S. system that would knowingly be beneficial to the U.S. when it could otherwise be a detriment.
In the US, most Pakistanis are educated professionals immigrating legally.

I think that the UK just got a lot more Pakistanis than the US. They got a mix of educated professionals and lower class ones. Don’t ask me why anyone thought that was a good idea.

A group came at end of the 19th century. My understanding is that it was a reward for siding with the British in the Indian uprising.
They’re a small minority in India and don’t particularly get along with the majority Hindus. So they did not participate in the uprising, in fact they are sided with the British.
However there weren’t that many that came at the time.

Bringing in Pakistani doctors IS knowingly detrimental to the U.S. They displace White doctors. They bring White salaries down. They take White places in our medical schools. They bring their families here, and soon enough their stupid cousins.

The same is true for nursing. The hospital execs cry nursing shortage, petition congress for an increase in visas. They don't like the costs of training new grads. Many used to have in house nursing schools. That is now rare.
When the smart fraction arrives, their children compete for admission to the top schools, which haven't increased their enrollment. So everyone has to grind like an Asian to get in, and the pressure works its way down the levels.
But we didn't need to grind like Asians to be wonderfully innovative throughout the 20th century. You don't need a huge population to compete, only a decent smart fraction.

To say 100% if that’s due to bad vaccine and not due to something unrepresentative about who got those batches, you’d just need a little extra data on the recipients. Raw body camera footage is precisely what got the reality TV show ‘Cops’ bounced off A&E a few years ago. Roughly 16,000 physicians have graduated every year in the US since 1980, as the population has increased by 40% or so, and has gotten older. Medicine has become more complex and specialized. We need more doctors. Our solution has been to recruit foreign doctors when we need more medical schools. There was a big increase in the 60s and 70s, but it stopped.
We harm ourselves, and the countries that lose their bright fraction suffer too.
The same is true for nursing. The hospital execs cry nursing shortage, petition congress for an increase in visas. They don’t like the costs of training new grads. Many used to have in house nursing schools. That is now rare.
When the smart fraction arrives, their children compete for admission to the top schools, which haven’t increased their enrollment. So everyone has to grind like an Asian to get in, and the pressure works its way down the levels.
But we didn’t need to grind like Asians to be wonderfully innovative throughout the 20th century. You don’t need a huge population to compete, only a decent smart fraction.

Blacks were running about 30% of (American) police shootings--about twice their (young male) population %--but commit a much higher proportion of violent crime. Homicide is perhaps the best--and most easily counted--correlation with the "asshole waving a gun around" scenario that gets criminals shot. And blacks were through the roof in that department--50%+ of American homicides--even before Saint George's OD.

Which, unfortunately, is perfectly rational if the cop perceives an imminent threat to themselves and/or others. If a young black man refuses to follow police instructions and reaches for something in their pocket or car, it would be rational for a cop to shoot more quickly than they would if an old Asian women exhibited the very same behavior. It’s very sad but it’s life because young black men are, on average, much more dangerous than old Asian women are and cops are not God and thus can’t immediately look into people’s souls on every single occasion.
Just like it makes sense to prevent a minor-attracted person without any criminal record (even in a scenario where child sex dolls/robots are made legal) from becoming a teacher. They might never harm any kids, but the risk of them doing so could still be perceived as being too high to warrant taking this risk in the first place.
If you are a cop and you shoot and kill a white person out of fear, incompetence, or negligence, you might get in serious trouble. If it was justified you should be alright.
If you shoot a black person for any reason you will have your career and life ruined. You might end up a national object of hatred. If you are sent to prison you will likely get shivved with the full approval of the media and a good section of the public.
Even if you were completely justified and defending your own life and the lives of others.
This is enough to make cops think twice, and that’s all it takes.
These days the happiest, Saileriest, and most on-topic headline out of Detroit is that homicides are way down — possibly approaching a sixty-year low — following a decision to prosecute crime and do basic police work, which decision is a reversal of a Lockdown-era law forebearance. Unfortunately, the wise talking heads aver, we cannot know what this means or how it happened, nor can we compare it to major cities like Chicago or New York, because those cities are exploiting new federal reporting requirements, which require no reporting. In the absense of such data we have no choice but to assume that Detroit is superior to your current burg and your business should move here before you get (quietly) murdered.

My impression is that Detroit’s mayor and police chief kept their heads in the summer of 2020 better than most.
Mayor Dennis Duggan has been pretty damn good, but his record competes with literal arsonist Coleman Young and self-described thug Kwame Kilpatrick, so he'd win if he just avoided sunlight.
James Craig was probably the then-best police chief in the country, his response to Floydapalooza was both law-enforcement perfect and diplomatically perfect (while cucks knelt, he respected protest while standing, but said from the beginning, if you break a window you will be arrested), and the reason he is not the current governor of Michigan is in-party Republican treachery. He is truly a great man, opposite in gender, race, and virtue to our current local Ardern.

Also, perhaps cops in white communities are going to have far less experience with seriously dangerous situations, and so are more likely to react inappropriately.
I knew a guy whose father was chief of police in Coos Bay, Oregon — perhaps a tough town, but decidedly white. Some guy came out on his porch holding a BB gun, and all the cops opened up. No charges resulted, but the chief gave the cops involved a real tongue-lashing. He’d picked up more than sixty shell casings.
