West Virginia was the last state in the U.S. to have a patient. From CNN:

How one woman fought to get her husband tested while her state was applauded for having no coronavirus
By Mallory Simon, CNN

Updated 5:17 PM ET, Sat March 21, 2020

(CNN)Carolyn Vigil was lying in bed next to her husband when she first saw the meme. It noted West Virginia had no reported cases of coronavirus, and jokingly pleaded for its people to hang on.

She remembers it so well because it’s the day her husband James began to feel sick in their Shepherdstown home in the West Virginia panhandle.

Her husband was sick from Covid-19. But her “coronavirus-free” state wasn’t set up to test him.

He would become the state’s Patient #1. They didn’t know it then, of course, nor did anyone else. But in the following days they felt like that they were the only people in the state who wanted to find out. From medical professionals who simply had no information to health administrators in the same boat, all the way up to the President saying the state was doing a good job for having no cases.
And all the while, Patient #1 — James Vigil — was there for the testing.

New test criteria: Only those almost certain to have severe Covid19 illness will be tested. So, the test is more a confirmation of disease than a diagnostic tool.

There are many good reasons besides scarcity to be “reticent to test.”

In any case, the number of actual cases is not “due to” (caused by) the number of tests done.

  11. The good people of West Virginia now need to be lectured by media to avoid backlash against skiers.

They need to be told to ask themselves, “What did we do to cause this skier to bring Corona-chan to our state and infect us?” They should be admonished and reminded to be sensitive to the needs of the oppressed skier. They cannot possibly understand things from his perspective, because they enjoy coal miner privilege.

It is time to add ski history to the West Virginia public school curriculum.

  12. And this is why we are getting locked down. Nationally. Pelosi, Trump, Biden, Schumer, Warren, McConnell etc. are all OLD. And very vulnerable. Hence the lock down, which go on until the virus ends.

This is not about flattening the curve. Its not about saving other people’s lives. Its about saving THEIRS. And to hell with the economy, working people who will starve, ordinary people victimized by the crime wave about to be unleashed, the tyranny unleashed under “emergency” orders that never end. Its about THEM.

Its why Biden just disappeared. Why Pelosi went from ranting on TV about removing Trump to … disappearing. Trump dominates the news and has a morning briefing showing “action” which really is all about protecting rich and powerful people at the expense of ordinary ones.

The National Guard is being prepped for lockdowns nationally. Prisons are scheduled to be empty, already Philly has told criminals that they won’t be arrested for home invasions and indeed anything short of murder. Police were already on drive/wave mode with criminals (read: vibrant youths culturally enriching people), this is that on steroids. With a side order of HGH, Stallone-style.

A gun confiscation bill is being pushed through by Hank Johnson. Yes “Guam will tip over” Hank Johnson and it stands an excellent chance of passing and getting signed into law by Trump (who is no friend to gun owners due to his idiot daughter who has the typical female hate hate hate of ordinary men much less such men armed). All those casual laborers are not getting paid. By a few weeks they will be raiding the suburbs with home invasions and since everyone’s home, it will be “heavy” and our rulers can’t have White suburban dads killing vibrant home invaders. Our rulers hate us and want us dead, is a good rule of thumb.

Meanwhile Mexico is falling apart, with the loser of the Sinaloa – Jalisco Cartel New Generation fight sure to take refuge in the US and seize a great part of it along the border like Pancho Villa a century ago. Mix in Corona-Chan raving a place without even the hope of medical care and you could have 40 million infected Mexicans rushing the border and being ordered to be let in by a Hawaiian judge.

And here is where it gets dicey. The young and vibrant wing of the Medium Party which wants to be the new Inner Party is young and non-White: AOC, Ilhan Omar, Stacey Abrams, Rachel Maddow, etc. [The latter is yes technically White but also is a lesbian, thus honorary non-White] They want the old White leaders dead dead dead and themselves in charge. They figure a big helping of Corona-Chan is just the ticket. Botox Nancy and Chucky Schemer, both strangely absent from TV cameras, are scared and desperate. They might just sign off on the US Military’s plans (they have many in fact) to institute Martial Law and rule for a few generations. All to stop Hawaiian Judges from instituting Mexican Boomer Remover with the connivance of dudes like Saikat Chakrabarti and other non-White money men pulling the strings of the would be new rulers.

Once Generals take over they rarely give back power quickly. Those thinking this would be positive should bear in mind General Casey’s dictum that the real tragedy of Fort Hood would be a lack of commitment to more diversity. We are likely to get diversity, good and hard, with vibrants quartered in your homes at the least under the military. The Generals like Petraeus and Casey hate us as much as Louis Farrakhan.

Governor Newsome dismissed as crazy talk the idea of a lockdown enforced by the National Guard today. So you know its coming.

The salient characteristics of the disease are that it is horrible for the vulnerable, and that it is mild or even not noticeable for the young and healthy. Thus it is not unlikely that there is a mortality rate not that much higher than that for other respiratory illnesses coupled with a high number of total cases.

  16. Anon[278] • Disclaimer says:

I’m rather curious about Wuhan’s status. They’re shutting down temporary hospitals and seem to be relaxing quarantine, but presumably they still have people getting the disease. My guess is that once the most vulnerable people died in the initial wave, the people getting it now are more resistant, and are less likely to need the hospital. They may be recovering with just normal home bed rest. Either that, or a more deadly version of Covid-19 has pretty much died out in Wuhan, leaving a less-deadly version of the virus to dominate. You would think China’s leadership would be paranoid about Covid-19 spreading to their other cities. It’s possible that the other cities are lagging behind enough they’re more in the situation the US is in right now, not really hit hard yet.

New strains pop up in one part of the world and thanks to the business travelers / skiers / cruisers it covers the world? By summer time, the viruses burn themselves out, and then each winter we start over again? I'd find it hard to believe this is the first time a disease has spread this way.

They might just sign off on the US Military's plans (they have many in fact) to institute Martial Law and rule for a few generations. All to stop Hawaiian Judges from instituting Mexican Boomer Remover with the connivance of dudes like Saikat Chakrabarti and other non-White money men pulling the strings of the would be new rulers.

Once Generals take over they rarely give back power quickly. Those thinking this would be positive should bear in mind General Casey's dictum that the real tragedy of Fort Hood would be a lack of commitment to more diversity. We are likely to get diversity, good and hard, with vibrants quartered in your homes at the least under the military. The Generals like Petraeus and Casey hate us as much as Louis Farrakhan.

Shepherdstown is one of two counties – Jefferson and Berkeley – that actually were part of a lawsuit after the Civil War to determine if they should belong to Virginia instead. I'm rather curious about Wuhan's status. They're shutting down temporary hospitals and seem to be relaxing quarantine, but presumably they still have people getting the disease. You would think China's leadership would be paranoid about Covid-19 spreading to their other cities. It's possible that the other cities are lagging behind enough they're more in the situation the US is in right now, not really hit hard yet.

All those casual laborers are not getting paid.

Governor Newsome dismissed as crazy talk the idea of a lockdown enforced by the National Guard today. So you know its coming.

And this is why we are getting locked down. Nationally. Pelosi, Trump, Biden, Schumer, Warren, McConnell etc. are all OLD. And very vulnerable. Hence the lock down, which go on until the virus ends.

This is not about flattening the curve. Its not about saving other people's lives. Its about saving THEIRS. And to hell with the economy, working people who will starve, ordinary people victimized by the crime wave about to be unleashed, the tyranny unleashed under "emergency" orders that never end. Its about THEM.

Its why Biden just disappeared. Why Pelosi went from ranting on TV about removing Trump to ... disappearing. Trump dominates the news and has a morning briefing showing "action" which really is all about protecting rich and powerful people at the expense of ordinary ones.

The National Guard is being prepped for lockdowns nationally. Prisons are scheduled to be empty, already Philly has told criminals that they won't be arrested for home invasions and indeed anything short of murder. Police were already on drive/wave mode with criminals (read: vibrant youths culturally enriching people), this is that on steroids. With a side order of HGH, Stallone-style.

A gun confiscation bill is being pushed through by Hank Johnson. Yes "Guam will tip over" Hank Johnson and it stands an excellent chance of passing and getting signed into law by Trump (who is no friend to gun owners due to his idiot daughter who has the typical female hate hate hate of ordinary men much less such men armed). All those casual laborers are not getting paid. By a few weeks they will be raiding the suburbs with home invasions and since everyone's home, it will be "heavy" and our rulers can't have White suburban dads killing vibrant home invaders. Our rulers hate us and want us dead, is a good rule of thumb.

    Crowder's parody song/video are funny.

But if you think someone got this from eating a bat or some other weird animal, you've been hornswoggled.

This was a bioweapon released from a research facility. Blaming "weird peasant" diets is a cover story---both to cover up the bioweapon origins, and also because the Chinese government has been pushing China to modernize for many years, so criticizing/blaming "backwards" peasant beliefs and practices is now a standard propaganda there---the same way here, "racism" is a catchall attack.

In “Riding the Iron Rooster” Paul Theroux describes a street market at which he sees a little, caged owl for sale—as food—shivering with fright. “Good for eyes!” His guide exclaims.

Maybe someone ate bat thinking it would be good for their hearing.

  79. The picture suggests that the Vigil family are skiers. Had they been skiing lately? Had they been to Vail or Aspen? Even Italy? This strengthens the Steve Sailer theory that the well-to-do are moving this disease from place to place, even to West Virginia.
