Here’s a more than subliminally phallic commercial put out by the UN Migration Agency instructing Europeans that they must open wide for African mass immigration.

Lie back and think of England and it won’t hurt that bad. Just close your eyes and tell yourself: “It’s INEVITABLE. NECESSARY. DESIRABLE.” And maybe you’ll start to like it. Remember, it’s not rape if we can make you too ashamed to say: “No.”

Steve awhen you made that post about Salma Hayek somebody said in the comments that if we had ONLY females of Hayeks caliber allowed to immigrate the gates would shut faster than a tax dodging billionaires wallet when the tax man comes around

We should have female immigration only. A lot of Arab women and Muslim women look good under the hijab.

Let em in and all the hot women from Asia and Latin America.....

The catch being they have to marry an American man....wanna gamble on how long itll take before we get an immigration moratorium?

It's not so much Hungary (only 10 million people)
or Czechia (10 million). The battle over the resettlement
of the migrants is primarily between Poland (39 million)
and the EU. Poland has accepted over one million Ukrainians
(and much smaller numbers of Belarusians and Russians)
on 6-month (but renewable) work permits but, apparently,
to the apparatchiks in Brussels white Christians don't count.
It'd better be Muslims or even better Africans. As it is, Poland
is already overwhelmed by the sudden influx of so many
foreigners, although in all fairness, they generally get high marks
on their behavior and adaptability. What helps is that the
Ukrainians, Belarusians, and Russians find Polish rather easy
to learn, and many young Ukrainians are studying at the Polish
    universities without too much difficulty.

By the way, Austria and Slovakia are also refusing to accept more
migrants, and they're next in line.

The original video was produced by the UN, which has an agenda, and it's definitely not concerned about helping Europeans.

Is Europe dumb? Partly. Even Angela Merkel who organized mass immigration to Europe, is trying to discourage mass migration from Africa to Europe. Even France and Macron slammed shut borders with Italy to stop African migrants from flooding in.

The pro-migration forces seem to be successful at shaming, banning, shunning the anti migration resistance in Europe and the US.

Poland and Eastern Europe have the governments that have presently blocked mass immigration from Africa, kind of like Japan and Israel. But I have work with engineers in Poland who are politically far left and would eager invite mass migration if they could.

In my home town of Austin, TX, the university and K-12 school district actively engage in in pro "undocumented" rights propaganda and legal services. That is beyond nuts that the government is financing a legal and political undermining of the government's own laws.

I wish this crowd had better ideas on what to do. Better contingencies? Everyone can have lots of kids in their private lives. What else can you do as an individual? Individuals have small say in the ways of the globe.

Considering that "self determination of nations" was one of the founding principles of the United Nations, it is especially bizarre that today the UN works for exactly the opposite purpose.

It seems Robert Conquest's 2nd Law is so true that it must be connected to a deeper metaphysical reality. "Any organization not explicitly and constitutionally right-wing will sooner or later become left-wing." Or maybe the Lefties/Commies/Transies/Globalists are just really good at what they do. Or very well financed...

Anypne who wants to see America survive as a more or less White, Secular, Non-Gangridden, Non-Industrial/Sweatshop, Single-Classed Country should regard Trumo's Executive Order as the absolute worst thing he's done.

Aside for the ban on Iran which would be a quid pro quo for their tourism ban on us, the entirety of this ban is terrible (including that it makes us rather than Iran look bad regarding how we treat each other).

The worst part is that as a goddamn "negotiator" he should have started Operation Wetback and then, if there's as much pushback as there is against this stupid EOrder he can compromise with building the wall immediately and with rounding up every illegal with a conviction of any kind.

As it is, he shot his wad on a counterproductive instead of just enforcing the existing laws (ike your right to decline visas, etc) and then executive order on NEW things!

Anyhow, I don't care (or at least I'd prefer to find it funny because the opposite is TOTALLY counterproductive to how I enjoy living my life) but if you happen to have any actual power of el pseudo presidente let him know what I think would ya?

The census shows Australia reached a “tipping point” in 2016 where only slightly more than half its residents had two Australian-born parents.

… More than a quarter of Australia’s population was born overseas in 2016 (26.3 per cent, up from 24.6 per cent) and for the first time since European settlement most of the overseas-born came from Asia rather than Europe.

If all this race stuff gets existentially serious, somebody might think about tweaking an already existing, frequently symptomless, race-specific pathogen that often makes those infected infertile, into something quite dangerous.
It might become possible to manipulate that sort of STI pathogen so that it would not only be much more virulent, but could also be contracted by airborne droplets as well as sexual contact. Someone sneezes in your vicinity and if you are of race X nothing happens, but if you are of race Y you become infertile -- and never know it until you try to become pregnant.
I don't think we have a clue how the population future is going to play out as we develop a more thorough understanding of and ability to manipulate life forms and perhaps pseudo life forms.
Stirring up racial animosities has always been a dangerous and foolish thing to do. But in the not-too-distant future it might result in the erasure of almost inconceivable numbers of human beings, not by them being killed but by them never being born. A quiet genocide.

I think it's more a matter of fear. Just as a child will work overtime trying to please the parent who is more critical or withholding, or our society at large won't hesitate to criticize Christians but won't say a word about Muslims, so many women will, out of fear, not criticize their abusive husband or boyfriend but instead will heap criticism on a safe target such as you describe. It's a weakness of human nature, not limited just to women. Where do you think the stereotype about the man who gets abused by the boss at work and comes home to beat up on his wife or kick the dog comes from?

certainly Trump should only accept female refugees. They are less likely to be terrorists and more likely to be victims of the Islamists. Trump should also restrict H1b visas to females only , since we have such a lack of females among tech workers. The current h1b visa program promotes sexism by importing sexist men which creates a hostile working environment for females.

It's a very good question you ask, and a major irony is that a big step would be to elect a truly disruptive president. We sort of did that. The decent, productive people of this nation--bound hand and foot for two generations--delivered a swift kick to the corrupt Establishment. But as we've seen, it's not enough.

I believe that Donald Trump is our last best hope, despite his many, many flaws. After him, the deluge--the demographic deluge. It's unlikely that we'll ever get a chance like this again.

This is why I overlook his flaws as far as I am able. We still have men like Steve Bannon and Jeff Sessions in power. It's a minor miracle imho. We have to do everything we can to defend them. Now what's that?

Everyone can have lots of kids in their private lives.

No, not everyone. After all, it "takes two to tango", and there's definitely a skewed sex ratio in "this crowd", for one. As I asked before, in comment on another Sailer post, in reply to someone holding this forth as "a strategy every person of child bearing/supporting age in the alternative right can employ",

For example, how am I, an atheist ultra-right-winger, a mid-thirties virgin of nigh-nonexistent sex drive with Asperger’s, unable to move from my present low-population, male-skewed locale (in Alaska) for multiple reasons, and supported by SSI/disability (and other govt. benefits), supposed to “employ” this strategy?

Take the long march through the institutions, especially in the corporate sphere and the government bureaucracy.

Except that the Left, being themselves masters of the "long march", have developed a variety of sophisticated defenses against such entryism. And further, there's the fundamental assymmetry of such tactics. Because a large part of why the Left was able to do such takeovers is because of our greater respect for hierarchy and authority. 'Respect the office, if not the man', 'respect the rank, if not the officer holding it', etc. Even after Lefty entryists take over a formerly Right Wing institution and move it Left, it still retains it's power and authority for at least some times afterward. But the reverse is not true, as the Left operates not as any sort of solid hierarchy with clear centers of power to be seized by entryists, but a leaderless "prospiracy" of like-minded folks operating by principles of "holier than thou", whereby one gains authority by being further to the Left. It's the principle of the French Revolution, whereby Robespierre guillotines the king for insufficient Leftism, then is guillotined by folks further to his Left on the same premise. Any attempt to move a "Left institution" Rightward destroys it. As with the example when someone proposed we on the Right attempt "entryist capture" of a prestigious university such as Harvard, one has to see that even were we to pull off the massive acts of deception and flawless 'masks' necessary to get our people into place, the moment said Right entrusts took action to use Harvard's authority to start pushing Rightward — or even just slow the Leftward movement — said authority instantly dissolves. The Left declares any Harvard degree issued after this point to be a useless, worthless piece of paper, and gets corporate HR departments to make it so, and Harvard's prestige and societal influence drops immediately to the level of Falwell's Liberty University. On the Right, your boss is your boss even if you disagree with him; on the Left, your boss is your boss only so long as he's sufficiently "woke", and if you can position yourself clearly to his Left, then you become justified in ignoring him, defying him, sabotaging him, or even overthrowing and replacing him. It's all holiness spirals to the Leftist Singularity.

One does not erect a building with the same wrecking ball, demolition charges, and other tools one uses to knock a building down. Some techniques and strategies are only effective for one side, not the other.

In my experience, much more the latter - though whether out of genuine conviction or staying within PC boundaries, I couldn't tell you. In general, I find them a lot more reluctant to talk about the subject than native-born Australians; and the most over the top, emphatic rejections of my "racism" I've experienced have come from this crowd. Overall, they're a welcome demographic injection (even if globally it's just reshuffling the deck chairs), but they're not shoring up anything I'd recognize as traditional Australian identity.

Is the place being Ellis Islanded and if so, who’s the symbol? The Greeks? The Italians?

Do you mean in the sense of the event or the (decades-later) symbolism? The event occurred in the 50s and 60s, the two main sources being southern Italy and Greece, both symbolizing it roughly equally (well, Greeks had funnier surnames, so were easier to mock). I wouldn't say that anything like a "Great Waves"/Ellis Island mystique has grown up around it, though. There was enormous anti-Anglo sentiment among this group (and Yugoslavs and Lebanese, two other important accompanying source countries), which in my opinion has only begun to wane significantly in the last decade. It's not at all uncommon to find staunch anti-immigrationists among these people today. Among millennials, I'd say the mutual resentments have faded into nothingness (with the exception of the Lebanese, who even so are not as bad as is often advertised).

  47. There are two main reasons for the lack of push back in Europe:

-immigration has yet to undermine the economies of Northern Europe – Holland, Sweden, Belgium and Germany are doing fine economically, despite the increasing problems with immigration

-France, Spain, Italy and Greece are dependent on the EU to prop up their struggling economies, thus the reluctance of people to vote for nationalist parties and the surprisingly high tolerance of immigrants (more immigrants equals more EU subsidies, in Greece there is also a lot of money coming in from foreign NGOs).

Europeans will push back when they are in economic pain, either because of incompetent or troublesome immigrants running their economies into the ground, or because Germany runs of out of money to subsidise Southern Europe. Hungarians are pushing back because they are already relatively poor and don’t receive large amounts of EU subsidies. Working class American whites are pushing back because they are highly exposed to global competition and don’t receive a lot of welfare.

A big recession in Germany will set of a chain reaction that will result in the collapse of the EU and a major populist revolt. The Nazis got about under three percent of the vote in 1928 but were voted into power in 1933.

Speaking of the Nazis I didn't realise there were so many parallels between the election of Trump and the election of Hitler, which include:

-a high proportion of support from workers in small towns and cities

-a lack of support from voters in big cities

-a lack of support from the unemployed, but a lot of support from provincial workers fearful for their jobs

    - a surprisingly high amount of support from females, especially in small towns and cities (provincial females ignored mainstream leftists parties and played a decisive role in getting the Nazis into power).

-a lack of support from affluent conservatives that traditionally vote centre-right

There's a lot good nationalists can learn from bad nationalists.

Hitler had already gained the Chancellorship in January 1933 in a sort of cabinet coup. The March 1933 election still only gave the Nazis 44% of the pop vote. (The last free and fair election, five months earlier, had given the Nazis only 33%.)

So it's a little bit of an overstatement to say the Nazis were "voted into power". They were more allowed in by a self-regarding elite who thought Hitler would serve their purposes.

If these people's mentality shifted from "I'm not white, so screw whites" to "I'm not black, so screw blacks" it would be a complete game-changer, not least because it would allow intimidated whites to realize they don't stand alone.

Someone sneezes in your vicinity and if you are of race X nothing happens, but if you are of race Y you become infertile — and never know it until you try to become pregnant.
I don’t think we have a clue how the population future is going to play out as we develop a more thorough understanding of and ability to manipulate life forms and perhaps pseudo life forms.
Stirring up racial animosities has always been a dangerous and foolish thing to do. But in the not-too-distant future it might result in the erasure of almost inconceivable numbers of human beings, not by them being killed but by them never being born. A quiet genocide.

Do you know if Australia’s more recent Anglo immigrants are shoring up the Australian identity or are they pro-immigration across the board?

In my experience, much more the latter – though whether out of genuine conviction or staying within PC boundaries, I couldn’t tell you. In general, I find them a lot more reluctant to talk about the subject than native-born Australians; and the most over the top, emphatic rejections of my “racism” I’ve experienced have come from this crowd. Overall, they’re a welcome demographic injection (even if globally it’s just reshuffling the deck chairs), but they’re not shoring up anything I’d recognize as traditional Australian identity.

I wouldn’t say that anything like a “Great Waves”/Ellis Island mystique has grown up around it, though. There was enormous anti-Anglo sentiment among this group (and Yugoslavs and Lebanese, two other important accompanying source countries), which in my opinion has only begun to wane significantly in the last decade. It’s not at all uncommon to find staunch anti-immigrationists among these people today. Among millennials, I’d say the mutual resentments have faded into nothingness (with the exception of the Lebanese, who even so are not as bad as is often advertised).

  60. @unpc downunder
There are two main reasons for the lack of push back in Europe:

-immigration has yet to undermine the economies of Northern Europe - Holland, Sweden, Belgium and Germany are doing fine economically, despite the increasing problems with immigration

Hungarians are pushing back because they are already relatively poor and don't receive large amounts of EU subsidies. Working class American whites are pushing back because they are highly exposed to global competition and don't receive a lot of welfare.

A big recession in Germany will set of a chain reaction that will result in the collapse of the EU and a major populist revolt. The Nazis got about under three percent of the vote in 1928 but were voted into power in 1933.

    Replies: @unpc downunder, @Hippopotamusdrome, @Almost Missouri

Speaking of the Nazis I didn’t realise there were so many parallels between the election of Trump and the election of Hitler, which include:

-a high proportion of support from workers in small towns and cities

-a lack of support from voters in big cities

-a lack of support from the unemployed, but a lot of support from provincial workers fearful for their jobs

    – a surprisingly high amount of support from females, especially in small towns and cities (provincial females ignored mainstream leftists parties and played a decisive role in getting the Nazis into power).

-a lack of support from affluent conservatives that traditionally vote centre-right

There’s a lot good nationalists can learn from bad nationalists.

    • Replies: @Almost Missouri
    @unpc downunder

I agree that there is a lot that "good nationalists can learn from bad nationalists", but we should also remember that though Hitler promoted himself as a nationalist, he harbored substantial transnational ambitions. He sought out foreign entanglements, was on an ideological quest to rid the world of Judaism, and desired lebensraum in the East--even though when the German military unexpectedly conquered said lebensraum, hardly any actual colonists could be found from Germany. All of these extra-national ambitions brought Hitler, the Nazis and Germany to grief, obviously. Had Hitler confined himself to actual nationalism within actual Germany, he--and many others--would have died peacefully in their beds, and he would be remembered today with mixed regard as a German Franco or Pinochet. So maybe lesson #1 is: be a real nationalist, not a fake nationalist.

Bonus points: not many people today remember that Hitler was a stateless illegal alien refugee facing deportation in Germany! He left Austria claiming political persecution (sound familiar?) and lost his Austrian citizenship. It was only years later that Germany reluctantly granted him German citizenship, allowing him to run for political office. I wonder why the UN doesn't include Hitler in their photo montage of "undocumented", "discriminated", "ignored", "grateful", "compassionate", "hopeful", "resourceful", "skilled", "ambitious", "successful" migrants? Surely a better case could be constructed for applying those adjectives to him than to the lot in the UN's silly advert.

Finally, since we are Comparing Stuff to Hitler, the Left bears some important Comparisons to Hitler. Foremost is that upon gaining power, Hitler and the Left waste no time in setting about obtaining their massive, totalitarian goals. "Conservative" political winners are usually content to hang out in office for the duration of their terms, acting in practice merely as a softer version of the Left. Say what you want about Trump half-assing things; half of Trump's ass has already accomplished more than most "conservatives" ever do.

It’s not so much Hungary (only 10 million people)
or Czechia (10 million). The battle over the resettlement
of the migrants is primarily between Poland (39 million)
and the EU. Poland has accepted over one million Ukrainians
(and much smaller numbers of Belarusians and Russians)
on 6-month (but renewable) work permits but, apparently,
to the apparatchiks in Brussels white Christians don’t count.
It’d better be Muslims or even better Africans.

It's not a "conscious conspiracy". The Africanization is most advanced in the West itself because the West is an extended phenotype of Africans, and the roots of the West in the Mediterranean have had contacts with Africa for millenia now. Given the history of the West promoting the interests of Africans relative to others and serving as a vector for African displacement of others, there's no reason to expect this won't continue, especially as the Africanization of the West continues and the Sacred Cow status becomes more explicit.

“The Nazis got about under three percent of the vote in 1928 but were voted into power in 1933.”

Hitler had already gained the Chancellorship in January 1933 in a sort of cabinet coup. The March 1933 election still only gave the Nazis 44% of the pop vote. (The last free and fair election, five months earlier, had given the Nazis only 33%.)

So it’s a little bit of an overstatement to say the Nazis were “voted into power”. They were more allowed in by a self-regarding elite who thought Hitler would serve their purposes.

    • Replies: @unpc downunder
    @Almost Missouri

Okay, technically correct, but going from three percent to 33 percent in four or five years is still a dramatic turn around. They got more than any other party in 32/33 and that certainly helped them in their efforts to get into power.

The really interesting thing from a contemporary perspective it that even though Germany was a pretty culturally and racially homogeneous by modern western standards, there was still a big ideological gap between big city people and those in small towns and cities. And despite over half a century of liberalism and continuing urbanisation their is still a pretty big ideological gulf between big city whites and provincial whites in the US.

    Replies: @Almost Missouri, @Altai

I agree that there is a lot that “good nationalists can learn from bad nationalists”, but we should also remember that though Hitler promoted himself as a nationalist, he harbored substantial transnational ambitions. He sought out foreign entanglements, was on an ideological quest to rid the world of Judaism, and desired lebensraum in the East–even though when the German military unexpectedly conquered said lebensraum, hardly any actual colonists could be found from Germany. All of these extra-national ambitions brought Hitler, the Nazis and Germany to grief, obviously. Had Hitler confined himself to actual nationalism within actual Germany, he–and many others–would have died peacefully in their beds, and he would be remembered today with mixed regard as a German Franco or Pinochet.

I wonder why the UN doesn’t include Hitler in their photo montage of “undocumented”, “discriminated”, “ignored”, “grateful”, “compassionate”, “hopeful”, “resourceful”, “skilled”, “ambitious”, “successful” migrants? Surely a better case could be constructed for applying those adjectives to him than to the lot in the UN’s silly advert.

Finally, since we are Comparing Stuff to Hitler, the Left bears some important Comparisons to Hitler. Foremost is that upon gaining power, Hitler and the Left waste no time in setting about obtaining their massive, totalitarian goals. “Conservative” political winners are usually content to hang out in office for the duration of their terms, acting in practice merely as a softer version of the Left. Say what you want about Trump half-assing things; half of Trump’s ass has already accomplished more than most “conservatives” ever do.

  98. Wait, a film was adapted from Starship Troopers and it was anti-white propaganda?

I’m curious how it was even done; I mean, for instance, how could one adapt A Christmas Carol into a film advocating materialism and selfishness, or Anthem into a film advocating collectivism and totalitarian government? I can think of certain approaches, but I would call the result a parody, not an adapatation. (And maybe it is so; certainly, Peter Jackson’s dreck about the female elven ninja who lusts for dwarven weiner is at best a parody or a mockery of The Hobbit, and little or nothing to do with the great book.)

In the second place, I am wondering whether and (if so) why Virginia Heinlein agreed to such a travesty…? (Then again, maybe she didn’t mean harm; to continue the comparison, Christopher Tolkien famously objected that his father’s works were not suited to cinematic adaptation, but I think he only realised and regretted what he had wrought after the ink was dry in the releases….)

    • Replies: @guest
    @Autochthon

Starship Troopers the movie was directed by Paul Verhoeven, known for making mildly satiric action movies like Robocop. This one wasn't anti-white propaganda, as argued above. It was more like a parody, but not of the book, exactly. It diverged wildly from the book. It was more a parody of patriotic WWII movies. Intentionally cheesy, about a group of good-looking, personalityless youngsters who may or may not be bamboozled into fighting bugs for no good reason. That's left unclear.

I say unclear because, though there are obviously satirical elements, most of the movie plays as a straightforward action war teen romance. There's a pervasive feeling of Bad Fascism to the movie, with copious visual Nazi references. They don't really take the state ideology seriously, they make fun of the propaganda shoved down the would-be citizens throats, and at various points you're led to believe the whole war is a put-on. Certainly everyone's being lied to. But this is atmospheric stuff. The meat of the movie, like I said, is pretty much played straight. It's your average boot camp to front lines war movie from 1944, only with nudity and CGI bugs.

Funny thing, when it was released plenty of people who should've known better took it for actually promoting fascism. To this day, I think that gives the film an unearned reputation for being subversive. People didn't get it, so it must have been deep, right?

No, because first of all it "falls between the stools," so to speak. It's not consistently cutting or funny enough to make for good satire, like a Dr. Strangelove. On the other hand, it's too cheesy to be taken seriously as a straight war/romance story. The thing they were parodying--old war movies, not the book--wasn't taken seriously by anyone in 1997 or whenever Starship Troopers came out. So there wasn't much point, except to beat on the dead Nazi horse.

The only captivating character of the movie is the rah-rah sergeant who used to be the kids civics teacher. He was the one promoting the culture's values earlier in the movie, and he's brave and sympathetic later in the movie. So it's not all Heinlein-bashing.

This idea of concentric loyalty is realistic and indeed admirable under such circumstances, as Ronald Reagan later pointed out in a famous speech.

What utter nonsense. Also,"extended phenotype" does not mean what you seem to think it means:

    Words have meanings, you know.

The West/Africa is a threat to the rest of the world and threatens to Africanize it, as in the past when the British Africanized places like Jamaica and replaced the Taino and Arawaks.

they imported African slaves because they were more robust than the Indios when it came to plantation work and there were more of them.

given that the "Africanization" is way more advanced in the West itself, pardon me if it's hard for me to see this as a European conspiracy (genetically motivated or else) targetted at poor, poor non-Europeans.

    Replies: @Anonymous

It’s not a “conscious conspiracy”. The Africanization is most advanced in the West itself because the West is an extended phenotype of Africans, and the roots of the West in the Mediterranean have had contacts with Africa for millenia now. Given the history of the West promoting the interests of Africans relative to others and serving as a vector for African displacement of others, there’s no reason to expect this won’t continue, especially as the Africanization of the West continues and the Sacred Cow status becomes more explicit.

I must add my wild conjectures of what might be possible if a powerful maritime force existed to repel invaders from other continents. We could call such an organisation a navy from the Latin navis, meaning ship.

    Naaaaah. That's a nutty idea.

(Of course, we would have to use this navy to repel invaders and protect its own nation, rather than to ferry in invaders and hasten that nation's demise. As it stands, the politicians and admirals involved all seem to be taking a cue from Theodoric of York about the best means to alleviate bad situations.)

The insigjtful literary analysis of Wikipedia notwithstanding, those of us who have actually read the novel can tell you:

    • The protagonist’s being Filipino is so unimportant it is not even revealed until the final few pages.

    • The global government served largely to organise humanity against an existential threat from extraterrestrial horrors; that government was not portrayed as a good thing in and of itself. This idea of concentric loyalty is realistic and indeed admirable under such circumstances, as Ronald Reagan later pointed out in a famous speech.

    • The novel’s major themes are meritocracy and the importance of personal responsibility (and, a societal level, the importance of meritocratically rewarding and encouraging only personal responsbility and ability).

So, no, there’s not an iota of anti-white sentiment in it that some hare-brained reader hasn’t projected there himself.

Wait, a film was adapted from Starship Troopers and it was anti-white propaganda?

I'm curious how it was even done; I mean, for instance, how could one adapt A Christmas Carol into a film advocating materialism and selfishness, or Anthem into a film advocating collectivism and totalitarian government? I can think of certain approaches, but I would call the result a parody, not an adapatation. (And maybe it is so; certainly, Peter Jackson's dreck about the female elven ninja who lusts for dwarven weiner is at best a parody or a mockery of The Hobbit, and little or nothing to do with the great book.)

In the second place, I am wondering whether and (if so) why Virginia Heinlein agreed to such a travesty...? (Then again, maybe she didn't mean harm; to continue the comparison, Christopher Tolkien famously objected that his father's works were not suited to cinematic adaptation, but I think he only realised and regretted what he had wrought after the ink was dry in the releases....)

    Replies: @guest

Starship Troopers the movie was directed by Paul Verhoeven, known for making mildly satiric action movies like Robocop. This one wasn’t anti-white propaganda, as argued above. It was more like a parody, but not of the book, exactly. It diverged wildly from the book. It was more a parody of patriotic WWII movies. Intentionally cheesy, about a group of good-looking, personalityless youngsters who may or may not be bamboozled into fighting bugs for no good reason. That’s left unclear.

I say unclear because, though there are obviously satirical elements, most of the movie plays as a straightforward action war teen romance. There’s a pervasive feeling of Bad Fascism to the movie, with copious visual Nazi references. They don’t really take the state ideology seriously, they make fun of the propaganda shoved down the would-be citizens throats, and at various points you’re led to believe the whole war is a put-on. Certainly everyone’s being lied to. But this is atmospheric stuff. The meat of the movie, like I said, is pretty much played straight. It’s your average boot camp to front lines war movie from 1944, only with nudity and CGI bugs.

Funny thing, when it was released plenty of people who should’ve known better took it for actually promoting fascism. To this day, I think that gives the film an unearned reputation for being subversive. People didn’t get it, so it must have been deep, right?

No, because first of all it “falls between the stools,” so to speak. It’s not consistently cutting or funny enough to make for good satire, like a Dr. Strangelove. On the other hand, it’s too cheesy to be taken seriously as a straight war/romance story. The thing they were parodying–old war movies, not the book–wasn’t taken seriously by anyone in 1997 or whenever Starship Troopers came out. So there wasn’t much point, except to beat on the dead Nazi horse.

The only captivating character of the movie is the rah-rah sergeant who used to be the kids civics teacher. He was the one promoting the culture’s values earlier in the movie, and he’s brave and sympathetic later in the movie. So it’s not all Heinlein-bashing.

This Stephen Hunter may or may not have been one of the film critics so distracted by Nazi aesthetics--which are undeniably present in and a big part of the movie--that they missed the point. There's a lot of mid-20th-century, good American, ethnically/culturally mixed types in Starship Troopers. For example, "Career Ship's Sergeant Jelal. Jelly was a Finno-Turk from Iskander around Proxima -- a swarthy little man who looked like a clerk...."
Then there are lines like, "Jelly glanced over at Sergeant Migliaccio, first section leader. 'Five minutes for the Padre,' he stated. Some of the boys dropped out of ranks, went over and knelt in front of Migliaccio, and not necessarily those of his creed, either -- Moslems, Christians, Gnostics, Jews...."
The variety of surnames among the protagonists indicates a lot of ethnicities blended into one smoothly functioning, egalitarian nationality, kind of like...um...what's the name of that country? Oh, right! America! The America that used to be, that is.
Of course, there's the gender thing:
"Then the ship's braking program hit us and I stopped shaking. Eight gees, I would say, or maybe ten. When a female pilot handles a ship there is nothing comfortable about it; you're going to have bruises every place you're strapped. Yes, yes, I know they make better pilots than men do; their reactions are faster and they can tolerate more gee. They can get in faster, get out faster, and thereby improve everybody's chances, yours as well as theirs. But that still doesn't make it fun to be slammed against your spine at ten times your proper weight. But I must admit that Captain Deladrier knows her trade."
    Women drivers...whatayagonnado?
To me, Starship Troopers is not even remotely fascist, fascism being some stupid old Eurotrash crap. Troopers is pure 20th-century, apex American idealism -- everybody is included in (but individuals can opt out if they choose) and participates in protecting and perpetuating the society, male or female of whatever race, creed, religion or nation of origin. There are lots of products of those latter mixing together but nobody cares, e pluribus unum and all of that. I kind of like it. I guess by today's standards of ginned-up race grievances and gender hatreds that makes me a Nazi. Okay.

Women constantly make excuses and even violently defend their abusers from outside intervention; as long as the abuser makes other men afraid and is dominant. Dalrymple observed this with even or especially his educated nurses. Meanwhile women have a fit over some nerd making a dongle joke or asking them for coffee in an elevator. While excusing rapes by rapefugees.

Conclusion -- the mass of White western women want this, good and hard, and tingles uber alles.

Because of women (and gays) there will be no government action. If the West is to be saved, it will be in some home-brew DNA lab where some angry White dude brews up some virus that targets those without say, Neanderthal DNA residual fragments. Or some such. That's pretty much it.

On World Refugee Day, which falls every year on June 20, the UN released a video called “We Stand Together With Refugees” on its official Sina Weibo account, appealing to the Chinese public to pay more attention to the issue.

The UN’s appeal was actively responded to by a few media outlets and several celebrities, invoking an intense discussion about whether China should receive refugees on a large scale.

The Chinese public generally holds that currently China cannot accept a large number of refugees, although many are sympathetic toward these victims. The reasons are complex, rather than being seen as lack of internationalism and humanitarianism. It is related to China’s economic development, population, ethnic composition, legal mechanism and history.

The priority for China is still development. An excessive influx of refugees will have a huge impact on social order. If terrorists infiltrate China among the refugees, the safety of 1.4 billion people will be under threat, a fear that can be proved by the current European refugee crisis. Accepting too many refugees may deprive China of a stable environment for development.

The true way out to solve the refugee problem is to achieve stability and development in refugees’ own countries and help them return to their own homes.

The commercialization and marketing of this from the highest levels is just shameless and blatant now. Is Europe this dumb?

No, not everyone. After all, it “takes two to tango”, and there’s definitely a skewed sex ratio in “this crowd”, for one. As I asked before, in comment on another Sailer post, in reply to someone holding this forth as “a strategy every person of child bearing/supporting age in the alternative right can employ”,

So no, not everyone on our side can “have lots of kids”.

If these people's mentality shifted from "I'm not white, so screw whites" to "I'm not black, so screw blacks" it would be a complete game-changer, not least because it would allow intimidated whites to realize they don't stand alone.

Take the long march through the institutions, especially in the corporate sphere and the government bureaucracy. The objective should be to get a few hundred thousand shitlords into middle management over the next ten years. That will be a game changer.

    Replies: @Kevin C.

Take the long march through the institutions, especially in the corporate sphere and the government bureaucracy.

Except that the Left, being themselves masters of the “long march”, have developed a variety of sophisticated defenses against such entryism. And further, there’s the fundamental assymmetry of such tactics. Because a large part of why the Left was able to do such takeovers is because of our greater respect for hierarchy and authority. ‘Respect the office, if not the man’, ‘respect the rank, if not the officer holding it’, etc. Even after Lefty entryists take over a formerly Right Wing institution and move it Left, it still retains it’s power and authority for at least some times afterward. But the reverse is not true, as the Left operates not as any sort of solid hierarchy with clear centers of power to be seized by entryists, but a leaderless “prospiracy” of like-minded folks operating by principles of “holier than thou”, whereby one gains authority by being further to the Left. It’s the principle of the French Revolution, whereby Robespierre guillotines the king for insufficient Leftism, then is guillotined by folks further to his Left on the same premise. Any attempt to move a “Left institution” Rightward destroys it. As with the example when someone proposed we on the Right attempt “entryist capture” of a prestigious university such as Harvard, one has to see that even were we to pull off the massive acts of deception and flawless ‘masks’ necessary to get our people into place, the moment said Right entrusts took action to use Harvard’s authority to start pushing Rightward — or even just slow the Leftward movement — said authority instantly dissolves. The Left declares any Harvard degree issued after this point to be a useless, worthless piece of paper, and gets corporate HR departments to make it so, and Harvard’s prestige and societal influence drops immediately to the level of Falwell’s Liberty University. On the Right, your boss is your boss even if you disagree with him; on the Left, your boss is your boss only so long as he’s sufficiently “woke”, and if you can position yourself clearly to his Left, then you become justified in ignoring him, defying him, sabotaging him, or even overthrowing and replacing him. It’s all holiness spirals to the Leftist Singularity.

One does not erect a building with the same wrecking ball, demolition charges, and other tools one uses to knock a building down. Some techniques and strategies are only effective for one side, not the other.

You're way overthinking this. I had something much simpler in mind.

All I meant was that middle managers are the sergeants of society. They run the platoon-level squads that actually get stuff done. A good office manager, a good store manager, a good shop foreman, have a lot of influence over how the culture actually operates at the ground level. If we had more guys in place who would do the little things---like look for a reason to round-file that AA application, or disparagingly wink at the mandatory diversity stand-up---that would make a big difference. If you're trying to wriggle out from under an avalanche, you first make yourself an air pocket. This is the air pocket. It will give you the breathing room you need to work on getting a limb free.

"The Nazis got about under three percent of the vote in 1928 but were voted into power in 1933."

    Replies: @unpc downunder

Okay, technically correct, but going from three percent to 33 percent in four or five years is still a dramatic turn around. They got more than any other party in 32/33 and that certainly helped them in their efforts to get into power.

The really interesting thing from a contemporary perspective it that even though Germany was a pretty culturally and racially homogeneous by modern western standards, there was still a big ideological gap between big city people and those in small towns and cities. And despite over half a century of liberalism and continuing urbanisation their is still a pretty big ideological gulf between big city whites and provincial whites in the US.

The insigjtful literary analysis of Wikipedia notwithstanding, those of us who have actually read the novel can tell you:

    • The protagonist's being Filipino is so unimportant it is not even revealed until the final few pages.

    • The novel's major themes are meritocracy and the importance of personal responsibility (and, a societal level, the importance of meritocratically rewarding and encouraging only personal responsbility and ability).

So, no, there's not an iota of anti-white sentiment in it that some hare-brained reader hasn't projected there himself.

It all just stands to reason. After all, the fact that my brothers and I will instantly come to one another's aid in the event one if us is assaulted by a third party means we sleep with each others' wives.

And meritocracy only makes the point a fortiori. Who can forget how the Apollo programme succeeded not by identifying the best and brightest Americans and recruiting them to become scientists, engineers, and astronauts toiling in Houston, Cape Canaveral, Huntsville, and eslewhere, but by administering standardised tests in Bangalore, Shanghai, Tel Aviv, and Seoul (everyone around here knows da Joos and the Orientals are all way smarter than silly white people, and that's how come all modern scientific advancements come not from Europe, but Asia and the Levant...).

Indeed, the very idea a meritocracy can exist among any group of size n where n is less than the entire human population is silly. Why, just yesterday my employer named our leading competitor's CEO as our CEO, too, because, hey, that guy was smarter, and one cannot let silly things like trade secrets and conflicts if interest get in the way of meritocracy.

(Many of the most active propagandists likely are too young to remember) Denmark had some different public policies (Even beyond asylum, foreigners of any nationality have to put a higher down payment on mortgages, even EU and non-citizens can’t buy certain holiday cottages) and managed to stave off the worst of the storm the last 20 years. Yes, they can. Most of the movie is played straight. The satirical parts aren't exactly subtle, but they don't overwhelm the rest of the movie.

"The soldiers never express that they feel exploited"

They wouldn't if they're being tricked. It's been a long time since I saw the movie, but I remember there being a sense that the whole war was possibly a put-on, and that there's no real danger from the bugs.

For that to be true, they'd have to have faked the attack on earth, which admittedly the movie doesn't come out and say. I don't know how much is being implied, but certainly we're not getting the full story. And doubly certainly, the soldiers aren't being told everything. But they never are, I suppose.

"The propaganda films we see in between scenes don't have the effect of removing this"

Those scenes give us ironic detachment from the characters. They don't see what we see in them, which is their government manipulating them. The fact that we have a different perspective from the characters doesn't deprive their actions of all meaning. But it does deny them the meaning you'd find in an old WWII film, for instance.

Whenever I'm in Copenhagen a major Western European city with the highest indigenous population (~76% ethnic Danish, not that it's a good standard, but it feels like a real place still) I like to think that the removal of this reality, of a rich prosperous and homogeneous western urban environment must make it all seem like progress to these people. (Many of the most active propagandists likely are too young to remember) Denmark had some different public policies (Even beyond asylum, foreigners of any nationality have to put a higher down payment on mortgages, even EU and non-citizens can't buy certain holiday cottages) and managed to stave off the worst of the storm the last 20 years. It's a point I always make, do we want to go further in the direction of being more like Copenhagen or Dubai? My own home city is now a parody of itself, selling kitsch to tourists as one hears fewer and fewer native accents in the city centre.

There’s a lot of mid-20th-century, good American, ethnically/culturally mixed types in Starship Troopers. For example, “Career Ship’s Sergeant Jelal. Jelly was a Finno-Turk from Iskander around Proxima — a swarthy little man who looked like a clerk….”
Then there are lines like, “Jelly glanced over at Sergeant Migliaccio, first section leader. ‘Five minutes for the Padre,’ he stated. Some of the boys dropped out of ranks, went over and knelt in front of Migliaccio, and not necessarily those of his creed, either — Moslems, Christians, Gnostics, Jews….”
The variety of surnames among the protagonists indicates a lot of ethnicities blended into one smoothly functioning, egalitarian nationality, kind of like…um…what’s the name of that country? Oh, right! America! The America that used to be, that is.
Of course, there’s the gender thing:
“Then the ship’s braking program hit us and I stopped shaking. Eight gees, I would say, or maybe ten. When a female pilot handles a ship there is nothing comfortable about it; you’re going to have bruises every place you’re strapped. Yes, yes, I know they make better pilots than men do; their reactions are faster and they can tolerate more gee. They can get in faster, get out faster, and thereby improve everybody’s chances, yours as well as theirs. But that still doesn’t make it fun to be slammed against your spine at ten times your proper weight. But I must admit that Captain Deladrier knows her trade.”
    Women drivers…whatayagonnado?
To me, Starship Troopers is not even remotely fascist, fascism being some stupid old Eurotrash crap. Troopers is pure 20th-century, apex American idealism — everybody is included in (but individuals can opt out if they choose) and participates in protecting and perpetuating the society, male or female of whatever race, creed, religion or nation of origin. There are lots of products of those latter mixing together but nobody cares, e pluribus unum and all of that. I kind of like it. I guess by today’s standards of ginned-up race grievances and gender hatreds that makes me a Nazi. Okay.

But the audience can still admire the order, cohesiveness and power of it all. The soldiers never express that they feel exploited, never waver in their mission. (Except for token coward soldiers who die horrific deaths as karma for trying to flee.)

Other entries in the series make it more explicit and the world more crapshack to compensate. The point is our main characters don't feel betrayed or forgotten by their society, they like it and derive meaning and valour from their actions. The propaganda films we see in between scenes don't have the effect of removing this.

For younger people who don't remember when society was more cohesive and their parents felt, conformist, stifling and unfair to those who didn't fit in, there is a strong desire for more order in the world. That's the generation gap, it's the 60s in reverse.

    Replies: @guest

“the audience can still admire the order, cohesiveness and power of it all”

Yes, they can. Most of the movie is played straight. The satirical parts aren’t exactly subtle, but they don’t overwhelm the rest of the movie.

“The soldiers never express that they feel exploited”

They wouldn’t if they’re being tricked. It’s been a long time since I saw the movie, but I remember there being a sense that the whole war was possibly a put-on, and that there’s no real danger from the bugs.

For that to be true, they’d have to have faked the attack on earth, which admittedly the movie doesn’t come out and say. I don’t know how much is being implied, but certainly we’re not getting the full story. And doubly certainly, the soldiers aren’t being told everything. But they never are, I suppose.

“The propaganda films we see in between scenes don’t have the effect of removing this”

Those scenes give us ironic detachment from the characters. They don’t see what we see in them, which is their government manipulating them. The fact that we have a different perspective from the characters doesn’t deprive their actions of all meaning. But it does deny them the meaning you’d find in an old WWII film, for instance.

They have an average IQ a standard deviation or more lower than Europeans and the majority of children of a nation being the products of such a union will turn the country into a worse Mexico. You are not very smart if you promote this kind of miscegenation under these terms and are thinking with your pecker. Maybe go move to their countries if you want to spread your seed that way. Don’t take a gigantic heaping dump in our gene pools that will destroy us and anything we can even recognize as civilization.
