Blacks have never understood one very important thing. You create your own value in life.

If you want to be loved, you had better start acting loveable.
If you want to be wise, you’d better starting thinking before you speak and begin some serious learning.
If you want a job, you’d better acquire some skills that will get you hired.
If you want to be rich, you’d better get a job that pays reasonably, and start saving and investing your money.

Nobody gives you anything for free in life except for your parents. Once you’re grown up and out of the house, it’s all on you. You have to create your own value.

If you behave like a jerk, everyone will hate you.
If you sound stupid, no one will listen to you.
If you’re lazy, no one will hire you.
If you spend every penny you have, you’ll be poor.

    It’s all on you.

BLM wants No police on their back, no police interventions and no legal repercussions for the myriad of bad black behaviors. They want to live free_range_blaq without the tptb aka whitey disciplining them. They want to be in the driver’s seat, disciplining whitey. Making whitey conform to the wild African norms of black behavior. The recent no bail laws are a fine example.

    (B) — BLM Via social media mobocracy, hound whites out of jobs so blacks can slot into them for racial equity.

    (C) The tail that wags the dog. At only 13% of the population, Blacks are doing a great job at increasingly raising the guilt tripping of whitey for fun and profit, for gettin’ paid and getting paid off to just go away. This guilt tripping temperature rises every year.

    >WP: I see. You don’t really want reparation. What you want is a raise. You want to live on the guilt of modern white people forever, but with the condition you get to demand a raise every generation. In fact, there can never be peace, as that would mean no more raises and maybe no more white guilt. After all, if we feel we paid our debts to you, we have no reason to keep paying you.

What you really want is tribute. I think I can speak for the majority of white people and say we would rather have the Dane. At least with him the issue was clear.<

I think I’ve figured it out. The long term goal amongst white liberals is to allow blacks to create their own ethno-state within the US that resembles an Indian reservation. The old Black Panthers either died from shootouts with police or diabetes so they’ve groomed this new crop of black nationalists. (A key phrase to listen for is “a return to the land” in some ethnostate manifesto. That’ll be the real estate developers talking)

It’ll be someplace extremely rural and free up the best real estate in the inner cities. Because they’ll essentially be their own thing, the US won’t need to pay enormous welfare and prison costs. But this theoretical nation will require a triple wall combo to keep the blacks inside it from illegally entering the US. The Democrats will then support Trump’s boarder wall for this hypothetical Wakanda. I’m going to bet that it’ll be somewhere in the former Confederacy.

While we are distracted by BLM – this kind of thing goes on. It’s only one thing among many that are possible, but it’s big, and it’s visible, if you know what to look for. Nice of BLM to be so distracting with the megaphone.

I was a schoolboy when I read that for the first time, and it stuck with me as well.

“ The idea that white Christian civilization is hated more for its virtues than its sins doesn’t occur to us, because it’s not a nice idea. Western man towers over the rest of the world in ways so large as to be almost inexpressible. It’s Western exploration, science, and conquest that have revealed the world to itself. Other races feel like subjects of western power long after colonialism, imperialism and slavery have disappeared. The charge of racism puzzles whites who feel not hostility, but only baffled good will, because they don’t grasp what it really means: humiliation. The white man presents an image of superiority even when he isn’t conscious of it. ”

I don’t think the next part is true for the lumpenPOC masses, though it is for the woke elites:

“ Destroying white civilization is the inmost desire of the league of designated victims we call “minorities.””

What they want to destroy is more limited to the feelings and symbols of superiority and resistance, like statues of our heroes and NASCAR. A cowed, subservient, apologizing white population as in South Africa and certain campuses, that keeps the power and water mostly on and stores stocked, suits them just fine. Before the 20th century, the prior big collapse of the West was the 400-800AD period. But the invaders, while they wrecked a lot, also kept a fair amount of the prior civilization.

Power is a guaranteed lady tingle generator. Double if it involves humiliation and pain on the recipient. Even more so if it involves death to the recipient. As the Ghetto dudes say, “you ain’t a man until you made a life and take a life.”

And that is where blm will end up.

Of course, Apple, Nike, Amazon, NBC etc. all back blm and never would if it hurt their bottom line. Look at what they do to avoid taxes. All the convoluted shifting money and profits around to subsidiaries and shell corporations just to avoid a few billion here and there for taxes.

White strivers in a declining, CONTRACTING economy are purging / canceling older superiors in various denunciations familiar to the residents of the Soviet Union and China under the Red Guards as its the only way to move up. Taking your stuff is sure to cause a fight, to the death, as there is no way to make it back. Meanwhile the corporate dream is every White man in America in a re-education labor campy with remote bio-shock devises making them work harder for the lowest cost (free, slave labor) to make the stuff formerly made in China by child slave labor. [China is seeing declining numbers of children as a result of the one child policy]

NBC says it wants 50% non White workforce in the next few years. How many Whites will they be firing to hire blacks? A LOT. Soon all TV and movies will be nothing but black black black black.

The replacement of the Constitution with Civil Rights by judicial decree, and the gutter religion of “fairness” by Upper Class Whites who discovered they did not have to actually work, they could just grift on the religion without taking vows of celibacy, wearing monk habits, etc. has made the government an ever expanding mutating blob outsourcing enforcement to corporations and the private sector. With ever more Rachel Dolezals on the grift. Beats working.

But eventually those Uighur Concentration camps will cause envy and a burning desire to put every White man in our own. By bllacks. By upper class grifting fairness Whites. By lesbians. By gays. By Nice White Ladies figuring they are much, much hotter than the sistahs and will snag their own Kanye West / Obama / Big Shot Big Man.

Probably one of the best snippets of cultural insight on masculinity, race, music, and feminism.

    Manliness and crime

Throughout the period in the 1990s when gangsta rap was supplanting rock in the headphones of white 15-year-olds, it consoled a lot of conservative social commentators to dismiss black urban culture as criminal, even pathological. Such condescension was getting the wrong end of the stick. As the Harvard philosopher Harvey C. Mansfield explained, black culture had remained mostly immune to the purging of manly virtues that white culture had undergone in the age of feminism. That was a plus. You might be right to call gangsta rap crass, but you would be shortsighted to ignore that its Beowulfian braggadocio had once been a hallmark of the “high” European culture that other Americans were heedlessly throwing out. America’s white upper middle class was producing so many “tough-minded” computer scientists and so few English majors that it had lost sight of some simple lessons that ten minutes spent with “The War-Song of Dinas Vawr” will teach you: Under certain circumstances, women prefer, and men follow, the kind of men who burn cities.

Having multiple classes per year group at school, “streamed” by ability.

The alternative is that the lowest achieving get left behind and confused, or the highest achieving are held back.

The problem though is that streaming reveals, very starkly, if there are differences in achievement which correlate with skin colour; and nobody wants to see that.

The solution, therefore, is that everyone be held to the lowest common denominator, which almost happens, but not with the level of care and attention that the lowest common denominator needs.

Everyone loses, but it doesn’t look racist.

  55. @Anonymous

I listen to his show and often find his ideas original and insightful. Other times, he’s just blathering a lot of nonsense. On a recent show, he talked about how great it would be for the economy and tourism to have a bike bath across the entire US, which is a flaky idea for any number of reasons. (Does he know how boring most of the US is to drive through?) He talked about the wonders of Kanye West, and how he could decide who the next president will be. Then he said we could end racism if only black mothers would say to their children, every day from infancy on, “Education is key.” With that, and fixing the schools, blacks will be well educated and great employees and racism won’t matter anymore.

This is freshman dorm room-level bullshitting.

And as you mention, his insouciance about destroying all statues. Like, “Who cares? It’s just a statue.”

He’s really an odd guy, which is probably why he often has interesting things to say and often makes no sense at all.

There are lots of different ways of thinking about history, and different schools of historiography. One of them is a way of thinking about history as the study of events that had firm repercussions, viz history is the study of how our world got to be the way it is. We still study the First World War because it still affects the way we live now, but nobody studies the War of the Spanish Succession looking for clues about the present day regime.

In the ancient Celtic world, there were plenty of local clan wars between Irish petty kings, but no one remembers them; the Irish role in history (outside the local history of Eire, that is) largely consists of the Irish being dragged into the British Empire, and later the Anglo-American empire, where they had significant impact. The long-term result of the Irish famine was mass migration to America, which resulted in major changes in American urban politics and labor relations. It wasn’t the famine itself.

In the same way, most of SSA history of the Bantu speaking peoples was local history: nobody remembers the war between Mali and Dahomey in 1162 because it didn’t change anything. African slavery is pretty much the only thing that ever happened to the Bantu peoples that was of world-historic significance. For them, history literally begins with slavery. They can’t or won’t think about anything else.

You see this in the warped unhealthy centrality that it still takes up in black people’s minds. Slavery happened everywhere, in all places and times, yet their thought patterns betray that they think it only happened to them. They would need something like their own Second World War to create a historic memory of equal significance. Some alteration in their mythos has to happen, in order to exorcize this Demi-childish obsession with what was, in human historical terms, in reality a minor blip on the radar of the world stage.

As the Harvard philosopher Harvey C. Mansfield explained, black culture had remained mostly immune to the purging of manly virtues that white culture had undergone in the age of feminism.

Black women wear the pants in their sub culture. They control what little money there is, the jobs, and almost all the government largess that is given to blacks. The black family is totally matrilineal to the point that men are basically useless outsiders who often barely know their children.

Black men get such a raw deal that I am not surprised that they are pissed off. The problem is that they target their hate at whites instead dealing with themselves. I am not making any predictions but if Trump manages to siphon off black votes, they will be entirely black men that vote for him.

It evolved after 1944 as a means of determining in which of the three types of secondary school—grammar, technical, or modern—a child should continue his education. I believe the real goal of BLM is some sort of de facto slavery system whereby blacks and their white-woke allies can dominate and humiliate “unenlightened” whites. I believe that for many blacks, the humiliation of slavery and perceived second-class status, has fed a long simmering rage such that nothing (not even reparations) would satisfy their lust for revenge beyond a similar humiliation of whites. Of course, slavery such as it was in 1800s in this country, would likely not be allowed by their white-woke allies, but a subjugation of white people/culture would more than do. Black political leaders have created a feral underclass and they know the ‘jig is up’. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means, it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. ”

I’m not persuaded that’s the case. Reply to Anonymous[218]’s comment on the earlier “Scientific Study of Police Shootings Is Retracted” thread, as this is an oblique answer to “What Does BLM Want?”

Anon linked a police-blotter-type story from today’s Quad City Times, the local paper for Davenport, Iowa: Bettendorf school district, staff sued over assault on high school bus. The lawsuit filed by the high school’s former baseball coach alleges that on the return trip from a tournament on June 1, 2019, his 16-year-old son was assaulted by a 15-year-old teammate. It’s not pretty:

[The] 15-year-old boy was seated in the back of the bus, watching pornography on a cellphone. The teenager pulled down his shorts, exposing himself as he masturbated. He then rose from his seat, sought out Nau’s 16-year-old son, and slapped the teen’s face with his hand, smearing semen into the other boy’s face and mouth.

The young man then made remarks about his victim’s deceased infant brother.

“The first thing [the 15-year-old] tried to do was say my son called him the N-word,” [former coach Brandon] Nau said. “They (school officials) told him he was lying. There’s video from the bus, and that didn’t happen.

As with many police excessive-force lawsuits, this episode grew legs because it’s captured on video.

And relevant to “What BLM Wants:” Who-Whom. The aggressor is black, the object of the assault is white. The assailant gets special treatment from the school district due to his race.

A Jena Six reboot, set in the Nice Midwest instead of the rural South.

From the February 2020 Opinion piece:

Despite the disturbing and clearly sexual nature of the offense, the teenager was not charged with a sex crime. He was charged with simple assault, a simple misdemeanor, and indecent exposure, a serious misdemeanor.

Nau said it wasn’t enough. The teen who assaulted his son should have faced a sex-assault charge and should have been expelled, he said. Instead, he remains active in school sports and continues to ride the bus with other students, Nau said.

    And from today:

In addition to the school district, the lawsuit names baseball coach Blake Hanna, who was on the bus when the assault occurred and who ultimately took over Nau’s position as head coach. Nau moved his family out of the district following the assault and the disputes that followed related to Nau’s position as coach and teacher.

Also named are Bettendorf High School Principal Joy Kelly, former athletic director Colin Wikan and parents Kevin and Glenda Trettin.

The coach, principal and athletic director all were mandatory reporters at the time of the assault, the lawsuit states, meaning they had a legal obligation to report the incident to the Iowa Department of Human Services. They did not report it.

Nau’s petition and demand for a jury trial also cites anti-bullying and harassment policies, which require investigations. But Nau and his son were not notified of any investigation, the document states, and the boy never was interviewed. The incident was not reported to the Iowa Department of Education, either, which is contrary to policy.

A May 2016 feel-good story on the attacker’s family can be found.

[In addition to their two biological children,] Kevin and Glenda have fostered over 33 children in the past 6 years, and have adopted four of the children they once fostered. Their family has grown so much that they can no longer all fit in the same vehicle. They are asking for donations to buy the 15-passenger van so that the whole family can travel together…

    Curtis Yarvin:

Let’s look at four anthemic themes: victory, punishment, rebellion, and largesse.

Victory is the theme of taking power. An anthem of victory is a tautology. If winning isn’t important, it isn’t winning. If it is, it leaves you more powerful than before.

Punishment is the theme of enforcing power. An anthem of punishment is an excuse for cruelty. What could be sweeter?

Any punitive act, even symbolic, builds strength and confidence in the punisher, while humiliating and weakening the victim. There is little a chimpanzee enjoys more than forcing another chimp to suffer. Our cousins may share a sense of right and wrong. Surely, as they bite off some rival’s balls, they feel they are imposing justice. They certainly feel important.

Rebellion is the theme of disrupting power. To destroy another’s power is inherently a demonstration of power; to use or show power is to gain it. The disruptor need not hope to gain, nor even be a subject of the power. Rebelling from the inside is insanely dangerous. Helping other folks rebel is almost as exciting, and a lot safer.

Largesse is the theme of building power. Power is made of social obligations. The way to build social obligations is to help out other folks for free—in cash or in kind.

Black Lives Matter, even in a Davenport suburb.

The truth is –and this is coming from a Greek– that had Agia Sofia not been converted to a mosque, it wouldn’t have been standing where it is now (same goes for the Acropolis of Athens that was used as a church for centuries). Noone had a sense of preserving older buildings for the sake of it in urban areas before the modern age, unless they had a practical use.

And frankly, I don’t care if it’s converted to a mosque once more. It’s never going to be in the hands of Greeks again. We had our chance 100 years ago, but fell short, no less because our leaders back then took democracy too literally.

Black women wear the pants in their sub culture. They control what little money there is, the jobs, and almost all the government largess that is given to blacks. The black family is totally matrilineal to the point that men are basically useless outsiders who often barely know their children.

As of December 2019, about 51.5% of all employed blacks were women age 20 and older, 45.5% were men age 20 and older, and 3% were between their 16th and 20th birthday (male and female). The number of employed black women exceeds the number of men by about 1.2 million. About 1/3 of the difference is attributable to incarceration rates.

I have no clue how you got the idea that the ‘government largesse’ among blacks is given only to women. The one welfare program that specifically excludes adult males (with odd exceptions) is TANF (as did its more consequential predecessor, AFDC). Less than 4% of the black population was at the end of 2019 living in households with TANF income. State and local expenditure on TANF has been running at about $30 bn per annum in recent years, of which about $10 bn have been going to black households. That’s a shotglass in the bucket compared to expenditures on Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, SSI, unemployment compensation, SNAP, housing vouchers &c, which do not exclude adult men or have more severe eligibility requirements for them.

They don’t want to be punished for their crimes they want someone to say ‘its ok, just try again’. They want to be given things. Because kids in single parent homes never have what kids in solid families have. They clearly need skills like coping, coflict resolution, commitment and integrity. They want to challenge someone stronger then get slapped down lovingly. They want to talk to men who have achieved something and be heard. Rather than doing the bidding of the only men that loosely fill that role, college professors. BLM, if they were honest, would call themselves Black Dads Matter. Because nothing could be clearer than the fact that they are entirely the product of fatherless homes. They are the chickens of America’s destruction of family values come home to roost. I don’t know any thief who has a very obvious parade as a pretext for stealing something. You steal under cover or subterfuge. So while I like Steve I acknowledge he deserves all the negative attention he attracts with idiotic statements like this. This is not about taking your stuff. People already steal all the time. And banks and politicians are orders of magnitude more guilty of that than all the blacks in the world. If only it were that simple. THAT problem could be fixed. But with these kids you can’t go back in time and put a father in every home. The damage is done. This is the outcome. And the only solution is getting our shit together about what really matters and fixing our family values before we have multiple generations of fatherless rogues occupying the majority. Ultimately, What Does Black Lives Matter Want?

Something along the lines of the All-Russian Extraordinary Commission to Combat Counterrevolution, Speculation, and Sabotage (CHEKA). Black lives matter has no leadership that can be negotiated with, yet its tactics are corruscatingly effective. For a Bolshevik revolution happening in the US, people must think it can’t. Two thousand and twenty isn’t 1918, but may turn out to be 1905: a harbinger of the total overthrow of all political arrangements.

    https://www.acton.org/publications/transatlantic/2017/11/10/book-review-russian-revolution-new-history-sean-mcmeekin

As radical as they were, the Bolsheviks were at the beginning a very small group, so small that others did not pay attention to them. But they were bold, intolerant, and despised any limitations imposed by morality, religion, democracy, and public honor.[…] “Bolsheviks were liquid buyers.” Their supplies to the Red Army (6 million in 1920) and Cheka (280,000) were uneven in the first year-and-a-half of the revolution but resumed to exceed their rivals’ quality of ammunition, dress, and pay. In the book, one can read that some of the gold was spent on the lavish lifestyle and luxury goods of the Communist Party’s top brass. Lenin’s Rolls Royce (confiscated from one of the dukes) and the black leather jackets of Cheka uniforms were a priority. Rival White armies in the civil war had no such gold reserves. Often their commanders were bought off to lead or train the Red Army. An almost equal amount of gold fell under the control of Admiral Kolchak’s army, but as a gold in private hands, it required a massive discount before it could become liquid, to purchase necessary supplies.

How BLM might be quenched or at least have the steam taken out of it would be useful to define. First and foremost it would be an end to ever increasing escalation of policing based on the theories of James Q. Wilson, whereby everyone in an AA area loses their job along with their driving licence when subjected to targeted–ostensibly anti drug–traffic stops on their way to work. Dollar General moving in signals the doom of that community. Second: concentration of freed up resources on removing violent criminals and protect people in AA areas. Third: have have an auxiliary corps of black community workers who ride with the police or even take over low level policing of blacks. American Indians already have their own law enforcement system that ties into the Federal one so the principle has been conceded. Fourth: halt recruitment of police officers from the military (as Chauvin was). The army is a killing machine, not law enforcement.

But more than that, it’s the world I live in. The buses in Harlem heave under the weight of wrecked bodies. New York will not super-size itself, so you’ll see whole rows in which one person is taking up two seats and aisles in which people strain to squeeze past each other. And then there are the middle-age amputees in wheelchairs who’ve lost a leg or two way before their time. When I lived in Brooklyn, the most depressing aspect of my day was the commute back home. The deeper the five train wended into Brooklyn, the blacker it became, and the blacker it became, the fatter it got.

I was there among them–the blacker and fatter–and filled with a sort of shameful self-loathing at myself and my greater selves around me. One of the hardest thing about being black is coming up dead last in almost anything that matters. As a child, and a young adult, I was lucky. Segregation was a cocoon brimming with all the lovely variety of black life. But out in the world you come to see, in the words of Peggy Olson, that they have it all–and so much of it. Working on the richest island in the world, then training through Brooklyn, or watching the buses slog down 125th has become a kind of corporeal metaphor–the achievement gap of our failing bodies, a slow sickness as the racial chasm.

The paramedics came in and took my blood pressure. They were moving to get me on a stretcher. I told them I could stand. They told me I could not as my blood pressure was such that I would likely faint. So they hauled me up and off, got me to the hospital, ran some oxygen through my nose and put an IV in my arm. When I got the hospital the doctors took great care of me. Two points: First, my theory of assholes clearly should be revised; the kindness of strangers is always amazing. Second, America, whatever its flaws, is very often amazing in its efficiency and compassion. It did not escape my mind that in some other place I might have died. This is not chest-thumping or jingoism. It is a fact of my residency.

When I fell out on the train, everyone on the car was white. So were all the paramedics and all the doctors and nurses. The challenge for someone trying to assess America, at this moment, is properly calibrating how far we’ve gone with how far we have to go. Too much optimism renders you naive; too much pessimism makes you cynical.

    https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2015/07/tanehisi-coates-between-the-world-and-me/397619/

Serious history was the West, and the West was white. This was all distilled for me in a quote I once read, from the novelist Saul Bellow. I can’t remember where I read it, or when—only that I was already at Howard. “Who is the Tolstoy of the Zulus?,” Bellow quipped. Tolstoy was “white,” I understood him to say, and so Tolstoy “mattered,” like everything else that was white “mattered.” And this view of things was connected to the fear that passed through the generations, to the sense of dispossession. We were black, beyond the visible spectrum, beyond civilization. Our history was inferior because we were inferior, which is to say our bodies were inferior. And our inferior bodies could not possibly be accorded the same respect as those that built the West.

And so I came to Howard toting a new and different history, myth really, which inverted all the stories of the people who believed themselves to be white. I majored in history with all the motives of a man looking to fill a trophy case. They had heroes, so we must have heroes too. But my history professors thought nothing of telling me that my search for myth was doomed, that the stories I wanted to tell myself could not be matched to truths.

And now I looked back on my need for a trophy case, on the desire to live by the standards of Saul Bellow, and I felt that this need was not an escape but fear again—fear that “they,” the alleged authors and heirs of the universe, were right. And this fear ran so deep that we accepted their standards of civilization and humanity.

TNC had a “Horde” of white sycophants in his former comment section, but he no doubt knew they were humoring him and preening to each other. Among other causes, it likely made him angrier and angrier. He called for racial ‘reparations’, cashed in, and quit his Atlantic blog.

Dominion over oneself is a separate matter.

No. One can’t have dominion over oneself, in a practical sense, if one doesn’t have power over others. Going with your example: You can’t keep rapists out of your / your wife’s / your children’s pants without some wielding sort of power. It can be personal power over others, e.g. you carrying a gun with the ability to apply deadly force, or it can be delegated power by paying taxes for a police force that carries guns and is a deterrent, or failing that, is a posse that will chase down identified criminals.

Even if you are unarmed and living in a small peaceful town, you are wielding power over others, whether you realize it or not.

Blacks have no rational grounds for their hatred of Whites since any wrongdoings inflicted on blacks by whites are many many years in the past and Whites have done more than enough to make amends.

The actual reason for blacks’ antipathy towards Whites is because they can see that White people are intellectually superior to them. The quality that separates us from other animals is our intelligence, and since intelligence is what makes us human, then any Race that is less intelligent must consider itself to be less human.

Furthermore, blacks realise that they, as a race, have accomplished nothing but have instead been given everything – food, medicine, modern technology – by the White man. Whites have made them into enemies by doing them favours, which is apparently the best way to make an enemy.

More intelligent, competent groups are always at risk from less intelligent groups who are consumed with nihilistic rage by constantly being reminded of their own relative inferiority. It is nihilistic rage, blacks want to destroy everything that Westerners have created because it is all a constant reminder of their own inferiority.

On this apocalyptic analysis it is clear that there is no other solution but separation. Nothing will work, because blacks won’t want it to work.

African slavery is pretty much the only thing that ever happened to the Bantu peoples that was of world-historic significance. For them, history literally begins with slavery. They can’t or won’t think about anything else.

Most likely, “won’t”. Their history includes the Bantu expansion throughout most of SSA, an ethnic replacement and genocide on a continental scale. It also includes the enslavement of other Bantu people, and their sale to anyone who would buy, typically the Arabs. While the Atlantic slave trade to the territory of the modern USA lasted less than 250 years, the Arab slave trade lasted over 1,000 years. While this history is rich and interesting, it is as bloody and vicious as our own. It is far more comforting to believe that Bantu history began with Kunta Kinte.

The statistics about what black fathers do to their children are appalling. Incest of very young black girls by fathers as well as the rest of the family is very high.

Why do you think that so many black kids are in foster homes beginning as toddlers? . Black girls have very high rates of STDs at very young ages and it isn’t 10 year old boys that infect them. Black girls and women dominate the exploited skank street hooker trade. Why? Because they figure they might as well get paid for what they are forced to endure at home and run away.

Influence of black fathers on boys in my experience as a probation officer.

I began in 1968. They were 20 to 50 years old more or less. Almost all had fathers with long criminal records including state prison for serious felonies. They were born between 1918 and 1948 when marriage and husbands and wives living together was the norm for blacks. And many, maybe one third had been sent to foster homes because of serious beatings by the fathers.

There are good, average and bad fathers who live with their kids. It’s not true that just because a man lives with his children and their mother he’s a good father.

Yes, until 1960 the black crime rate was down, especially in the south. But that was because police and Whites kept strict control of blacks with long prison sentences informal curfews and kept roaming blacks out of White neighborhoods.

Women talk among themselves about harassment incest rapes and rapists we managed to fight off . Even though black women hate White women, they do talk to us about the incessant customary incest by male relatives including their fathers.

Why do black men do it? Ah guh mah knees. I got my needs. The girls are right there in the house. Think of it like peeing in a bush instead of waiting till you walked 2 blocks home.

Just look at how the sons of all those respectable black home owning black affirmative action couples turn out. You’d be surprised at how many sons of $15o, 000 combined income black government employees end up in prison. Reversion to the norm.

I assume you have spanked your kids? Blacks don’t spank their kids the way other races do. It’s a full out rage fueled beating and not with the hands. The black term for extension cord is whipping cord. When the boys and bigger girls turn 12 the parents go after them with baseball bats. Ever spoken with alleged middle class affirmative action blacks about the physical punishment they endured as children and what they do to their own kids? They brag about the whippings they got and give.

Well paid affirmative action jobs, life long marriage, education church anger management classes parenting classes, nothing will change them.

Great post it’s so true. You can’t have any job you want because it’s the employer who decides. You can’t buy or rent any home you want because it depends on how much money you can spend. Your safety from crime depends on where you live and work and how pro crime the community is.

About the only thing you can control is your weight, clothes hair cut and grammar.

I’m surprised to see that Ontario is one of the least restrictive provinces when it comes to home-schooling. As in my state, parents only have to submit a letter of intent to the school district.

My smart kids receive no formal education while my tards attend public school, where they’ll receive diplomas if they keep their chairs warm through twelfth grade. That’s my version of “streaming”.

This must be a bit of a letdown for the teachers, who thought they’d be indoctrinating the vanguard of the proletariat but instead ended up babysitting tards.

If you were our now 40ish children and grandchildren you’d be just fine. We’re oldest boomers. In 1967 and 68 with the Philadelphia Plan and affirmative action law we realized Whites were destined to be untouchables.

So we decided to take care of our children’s future instead of trusting to a White hating society to be fair. Of course we were always skeptics. Old French saying. “ Don’t listen to what he does, watch what he does”

One of the good things boomers have, which you may want, is basic education. For example, the word millennial has two n’s. Don’t say no boomer ever did anything for you – for free, too! You’re welcome. It’s advisable for one to speak at least one language passably well, to differentiate us from animals. There’s also this relatively new invention called the world-wide web. Among other fascinating features, it has numerous free or low-cost self-education resources. Knock yourself out, li’l ennial [sic].

Of course, even in this evident autumn of America, you could have become a plumber or an electrician and earned many times your current pay. Also, your current position will be replaced by algorithms any day now. Not everything is someone else’s fault, nor is everything out of your control. Turn some of your anger inward and review your own lack of drive to do better, using all of the resources available to you – especially youth – including, presumably, at least a modicum of testosterone.

Blacks have never understood one very important thing. You create your own value in life.

If you want to be wise, you’d better starting thinking before you speak and begin some serious learning.
If you want a job, you’d better acquire some skills that will get you hired.

Oh, Blacks understand all of this. They see how Whites act – real Poindexter, uptight, on time, short breaks, staying late, clacking away at their keyboards. Opening books and then reading them. Fuckin’ … nerds.

Blacks understand that all Whites (including progressive Whites) want them to act the same way. They see some of the same TV commercials you do, with intact Black nuclear families acting super White and square in a big suburban house. Those commercials are made by, and paid for by, progressive Whites.

Blacks understand this perfectly well. They don’t have the desire, IQ or temperament to do what Whites want them to do, except for short spells.

    R-E-S-P-E-C-T is the correct answer.

It is more primal than money. Blacks don’t want to feel humiliated and humbled.

Humiliation drives much of the world’s discord. Young men who feel humiliated are a dangerous force.

Blacks in particular are sensitive to being disrespected. As I have said before, white liberals have to believe ever subtler forms of racism must have a powerful effect on people, and so they invent things like stereotype threat, and microaggressions, many blacks are just delighted that white liberals agree that they are not allowed to be disrespected.

If blacks didn’t take being asked to do something by the police as an act of disrespect things would go a lot smoother.

On some level it is humiliating to be black. Their ancestors were enslaved, there are no successful black countries, blacks are poorer wherever they are. The main complaints of American blacks is that white people don’t give them jobs or let them live in white neighbourhoods. Which is pathetic and humiliating. By this logic if whites decided they would never give blacks jobs or let them live amongst them or lend them money etc. that blacks would be unable to create their own successful communities.

Incidentally, I’m glad Booker T Washington is getting a Trump statue and not Dubois.

Some Muslim young men get past their feelings of humiliation by feeling morally superior to the decadent sinful Westerners.

Has anyone read Resentment Against Achievement, by Robert Sheaffer? Is it worthwhile?
    An old article about it
    https://reason.com/1989/07/01/nothing-fails-like-success1/

“Throughout recorded human history, the ebb and flow of the love of achievement—and the resentment against its success—have been major forces behind the rise and fall of civilizations,” Sheaffer writes. “While a civilization is in ascendance (which is to say, when the morality of achievement has the upper hand), people tend to derive their cultural and social ideals from the class above them.…But if and when resentment-morality gains the upper hand, civilization enters a slow decline.…lower-class values begin to spread upward.” “If the achievers,” he argues, “begin to identify more strongly with the complaints of these losers than with the accomplishments of people like themselves, they will become paralyzed by guilt, and the future will look bleak.”

In addition, they are not members of any public works union, so they’re scabbing someone’s job. (Even if creating more work for them.) That was the NYPD’s r&f’s view of the Guardian Angels.

It might have been easier to use yellow paint to change “lives” to “liars”. A JV baseball team once spelled out their nickname, (Yellow) JACKETS, on a hillside with painted stones. Some gremlins came through in the night to change the J, A, and T to F, U, and R.

The team discovered it before class began in the morning and rushed to repair. But the bell rang, and they were left with “JACKERS” until the next day.

I like the “they’ll take your stuff” messaging because it cuts to the heart of the matter. Uh, because that’s something that doesn’t need to be said. People with the chops to be entrepreneurs don’t require evangelical life coaches to get them started. Black women do the work, black men live a life of leisure consumption and animal sex.

Again, no. The employment-to-population ratio for blacks is usually about 10% lower than that for the other racial groups. The difference is not that radical. The working population among blacks as of December 2019 was distributed as follows: 3% persons under 20, 45.5% men over 20, 51.5% women over 20.

Fuck off twice, millenial. I’m a pre-boomer and I did have it good because I was taught to have a work ethic by my parents who lived through the Depression. I started working at 12 years of age, paid for my college expenses with money saved from several years of earnings from multiple paper routes. My typical lunch during graduate school was a 15 cent can of corn or beans. When I was professionally employed, I saved 50% of my salary. Your generation and the older members of Generation Z are characterized by consumerism based on credit. I don’t feel your imaginary pain, and am ready to defend my justly acquired wealth to the death.

A black friend of mine, who has a high-level LEO job, said of his upbringing: “The way my mother used to beat me would be considered child abuse now.” Fortunately he married a woman with an incredible amount of good sense, and they raised two sons to be decent men. One of the sons is in my judgement the most duty-oriented person I’ve known, excepting only a workaholic German. Such child rearing can be done by blacks if they are not filled with rage. BLM is fueling rage that will foreclose the opportunity of some black children to be raised correctly.

Now, you said, “the extent to which seemingly decent and intelligent people go to not understand things has become very frustrating.”

Alden – You are a rare voice of truth and wisdom here among all the fools at Unz. They all profess a certain degree of race realism but it’s all a game to them. They truly believe, deep down, that culture matters more than genetics, and just the right degree of social intervention/education will make everything right. You can show them adoption studies, you can show them the marriage/rape/illegitimacy/crime stats for blacks going back to the 1800s (Those Who Can See blog), none of it matters. Despite their outward ‘intelligent/educated’ persona, their opinions are just as much based on feelings as your average airhead female BLM protester. Genetics>culture>religion>politics. Race is shorthand for genetics. The outliers they love to cite (Sowell, Williams, etc.) have all their own excuses for their race’s dysfunction (Sowell wrote an entire book blaming it on the Scots-Irish) because none of them can bear the truth – their black children – despite every benefit of affluence and education – will revert to the mean. Their grandchildren will be pulling the race hustle and claiming discrimination.

Man and modern travel put together what God far more wisely split asunder. We were made differently. Or, for the muh science aficionado, we evolved differently. We are distinct and separate subspecies (differences in bone structure, hip ratios, lung capacity, illness susceptibility, etc. ad nauseam). We think and act differently. We were meant to live separately. White man’s very existence is an affront to them and must be eradicated. Most of the fools here will still insist they’re goodwhites, or universal Christians, or whatever. They’ll die still clinging to their cherished narrative. Good riddance to them all.
