From CNBC:

Twitter commits that 25% of its executives will be minorities or women by 2025
PUBLISHED THU, FEB 18 20216:19 PM, by Salvador Rodriguez, @SAL19

Twitter is committing to having at least a quarter of its executives be underrepresented minorities and women by 2025.

Approximately 13% of Twitter’s current leadership employees are Black, Latinx, Indigenous or multiracial, according to the company’s most recent inclusion and diversity report.

Although I notice in the fine print that Twitter includes “multiracial” in “under-represented minorities,” so maybe Jack Dorsey plans on hiring a bunch of half-Asian/half-whites and hope the SJWs are too low IQ to notice.

Kids nowadays, in full flight from being white, will claim that they are NOT white based on one parent from West Asia/North Africa. By that criterion, Steve Jobs, whose birth father was Syrian, would not be white.

  2. So currently more than 75% of them white males yet the company is worth over 40 billion dollars……..how did such a backward misogynistic and racist outfit manage to buck the scientifically proven reality that in business diversity and inclusion are prerequisite for success?

~30% Twitter employees are white males today, far less than the 70% you suggest. Not even 60% of their employees are male today and the majority of the men employed at Twitter are non-white.

Asians are not part of the stated 25% goal, which specifies "underrepresented" minorities. This excludes South Asians and East Asians. Today only 60% of the employees at Twitter are male and only about half of the male employees are White...

I suspect Steve is correct, most of the growth will occur among "mixed" race executives , who will typically have an Asian mother and a white father. Those with a Indian father and East Asian mother will also qualify as mixed race and be considered an "underrepresented" minority, despite neither parent not qualifying as an "underrepresented" minority. Already 38% of the leadership positions at Twitter are held by women, so it will not be easy to grow the female category much.

Read the article , 38% of current leadership positions are already held by women and Asians are not counted as under-represented minorities. Only 40% of Twitter employees are currently white, 60% are non-white.

If we had an equitable quota system Twitter and the other tech firms would be forced to hire more whites to get to 65% white.

White males represent no more than about 30% of the overall population and fewer than 25% of births.

Allowing a publicly quoted company have up to 50% of its board members as white males is disgracefully regressive and racistly misogynistic when Surely white males should be limited to no more than 30% of board positions in Fortune 500 companies with an aim to progressively limit it to 25%?

After all, we want companies to "look like America"don't we?

whites males are already hold under 30% of the Twitter leadership positions as stated in their most resent diversity report. The problem at Twitter and Google and the rest of the big tech firms is they have too many Asians. The true goal of the woke is to get more Blacks and Latinos into leadership roles....currently just 4% of the leadership positions are held by Blacks. If they had actual quotas based on race these firms would need to fire Asians and hire Blacks and Latinos...the number of white employees would actually need to be increased to match thee white proportion of the US population. Only 40% of Twitter employees are white, it needs to be increased to 60% to match the US population.

  6. Asians and Indians don’t count for diversity and inclusion points however much Big Tech wants to claim them while accusing me of racism. I live and work around black descendants of American slavery while they structure their lives and companies to be as far away from them as possible. It’s time to demand BLM return the protection payola they receive from corporations and start doing the activism to force these liars to increase the real numbers of black descendants of American slavery to at least 15% of their workforce.

  7. The obvious question is why stop at 25%? Is the country 75% while/Asian male?

    Of course not!

I demand racial justice from all corporations. Every company’s workforce – including management – must reflect our country’s wonderful diversity.

Czech Republic scraps plans to reopen shops, mandates DOUBLE masking in public

“The pandemic situation is not good, the UK variant is still spreading. That’s why we decided not to open closed shops for now,” the country’s industry minister, Karel Havlicek stated on Twitter.

Protip: The variant that spreads best is, by definition, the one which is spreading.

The Czech Republic has been heavily hit by the ongoing pandemic, registering more than 1.1 million cases and nearly 19,000 deaths – meaning effectively one tenth of the country’s 10.7 million population has been infected. It also currently has the worst infection rate in Europe, reporting 968 new cases per 100,000 people on a two-week basis, data by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) indicates.

Seeking to halt the ongoing spread, the government is also set to tighten up masking rules, Health Minister Jan Blatny revealed. Starting from Monday, the country’s residents will be required to wear either respirators or two surgical masks while in high-traffic public spaces, such as on public transport.

It'd be interesting to know exactly how much of the wealth those 30% produce.

Reminds me of that stat from the world of pop/rock music where the British make up less than 10% of the singer-songwriters who publish music, but account for over 60% of those who dominate the charts.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if even a fraction of that 30% accounted for the bulk of the company's innovation and wealth. That sounds about white to me.

  20. Here is something you need to do some thinking on Sailer– We are about to get Biden’s immigration wave. But in reality, the US is not a favorable country for immigrants at this point. Our economic system is bound around yet another Fed Wall Street game with money… Fiat currency chasing assets… one of them being housing and that is the worst thing for the permanent underclasses we have.
Rents are skyrocketing around most of the urban areas where the no skill immigrants will flock.

At what point does this dumpster fire of a country get to the point where it isn’t attractive to the world’s poor huddled masses? True, but Honduras is sensible enough to protect their borders and citizenship. Unlike America.

    , @epebble
    @Stonewall Jackson

Your argument is correct in a theoretical sense but it does not work like that in modern U.S. immigration. Today's immigrants to U.S. mostly come in these categories.

    1. Largest share of immigrants are relatives of people already here (wife, husband, father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister). Since these people already have a close relative here, the impact of economic crisis will not be the first thing they will face.

    2. Next group is the employment based. Most are well educated STEM workers from Asia and Europe. They tend not to feel the economic crisis as deeply as ordinary workers. If anything, they are considered more valuable by employers as our economy is going bimodal with a majority of unskilled labor and a small number of highly skilled workers (with the middle getting hollowed out).

    3. Refugees, asylees etc., won't be affected much as they are coming from really distressed backgrounds and anything here is superior to where they are coming from. Also, they get government/sponsor help.

    4. "Investors"/ Well off people - won't be affected by economic crisis as they are already well off.

So the 19th century model of free immigration based on economic opportunity does not apply anymore.

One place where relative economic dynamism does matter today is emigration.
More people are leaving U.S. now than before. Unfortunately, they are not the kind of people whom we wish to see go.

I wish. But Stonewall this is just wrong--ridiculously wrong.

The US is still wildly more pleasant to live in than most of the planet--and essentially all of Africa. 500m+ people would like to move to the US, right now.

At what point does this dumpster fire of a country get to the point where it isn’t attractive to the world’s poor huddled masses?

When it is worse than every other place on earth.

This is the cold hard, implacable mathematical logic of "nation of immigrants"--of why that particular piece of anti-white, minoritarian propaganda is so abjectly stupid. "Nation of immigrants"--i.e. immigration forever--means you keep taking in more foreigners until your nation becomes so crowded, so riven with ethnic friction, so mediocre ... that no one else in the world wants to come.

Not sure. But that's probably going to take something at least in the neighborhood of 500 million Africans. We are--thankfully--nowhere near that ... yet. The US is still a better place to live--dumpster fire and all--than most of the world.

I don't know about the foreign hordes but Americans should start emigrating to greener pastures or cheaper countries South of the border or Asia. Starting a small business, living off your savings or teaching English are the main sources of revenue for expats. Just keep a low profile and live frugally in a place like Ecuador, Chile or Thailand. You won't even need your wife in those places, lol!

This is the stuff AMERICANS, WHITE AMERICANS are still doing. Their "leaders" and their "owners" know little about this, and they are not capable of understanding or appreciating the magnitude of its significance.

Instead, they have their controlled media shout to us about the Chinese lander on the fucking Moon. The fucking Moon that WHITE AMERICANS walked on, lived on and worked on for three days at a time -- half a fucking century ago.

We are so far beyond anyone else that we ourselves cannot comprehend it. The rovers and that helicopter are being run from Pasadena, California. The Pluto spacecraft was run from Boulder, Colorado, across the street from the first micro-brewery I drank from, on Walnut Street. My girlfriend designed their first four beer logos (which, last I checked, were still hanging on the wall there.)

Though executives motivated to pitch unending ethnic activism into everything they do might well have lots of ideas for initiatives.

Coke Cola has it’s employees doing ‘anti-racism’ training that includes slides imploring them to ‘be less white’. That might sound very esoteric but they also have a list of what that means practically.

Again, I think what the CRTers mean by this is ‘be less core’, ie, autodisplace yourself, take the side of ethnic outgroups in their attempts to displace and take from your group. Sit down and let us abolish you.

Over and over, your collective interests are illegitimate and wrong, other groups are of the highest morality and most pressing legitimacy and should be the prism through which everything in society is seen.

No whites in Western countries is socialised to feel racially superior to non-whites. You mistake the side-product of pro-immigration propaganda, that everything will stay exactly the same and their comfort with being the normal core population with a sense of superiority. I've been using Zoom since this whole pandemic. You need an invite to join a meeting, when you join you are put in a waiting room and have to be admitted, once admitted, you can be muted, your camera can be turned off, or you can be removed entirely. The person running the meeting has total control over everyone who attends.

Unknown participants, in masks, with unrecognizable names cannot just crash a Zoom meeting anonymously. And if they somehow did, they would not be able to remain in the meeting, mic on, to continue yelling slurs after she left for some time and then came back.

“Not only was I triggered in that way, it was a reminder of the lack of protection I’ve experienced at the University,” Simmons told the News. “You never are quite the same after something like that.”

Simmons logged off the Zoom call for a few minutes but returned after colleagues reached out to her urging her to come back. But she said the unidentified participants continued to yell at her when she spoke once more.

I’ve been using Zoom since this whole pandemic.

This, like most claims of racism today, is utter and complete bullshit.

In fact, the concept of "caucasian/white" already exist in North-africa and west asia more than 1000 years before it was "discovered" in England...
in V century, the Berbers already classify people in two groups Bidani (whites) and sudani (guess)...
the first book with racial classifications was writen in Bagdhad, in VIII century...
In Portugal, from the XVI to XVIII there was distinct laws to Black/Negros slaves and White/Brancos slaves... White slaves: mostly Muslims /Mouros (Berbers, Arabs, Persians, Turks, etc..), Jews (Judeus) Pagans/Pagãos (Parses and Bramans) and Chinese and Japanese are also included.
Negros: everibody south of the grand desert... sometimes dark south indians are put in the same group.
EX: - (Bodyguards) White slaves can´t carry weapons; Blacks are aloud...

whites males are already hold under 30% of the Twitter leadership positions as stated in their most resent diversity report. The problem at Twitter and Google and the rest of the big tech firms is they have too many Asians. The true goal of the woke is to get more Blacks and Latinos into leadership roles….currently just 4% of the leadership positions are held by Blacks. If they had actual quotas based on race these firms would need to fire Asians and hire Blacks and Latinos…the number of white employees would actually need to be increased to match thee white proportion of the US population. Only 40% of Twitter employees are white, it needs to be increased to 60% to match the US population.

Unbeknownst to most people, however, the science underlying this technology was primarily developed by two people: Albert Einstein, whose theories of special and general relativity both play an important role, and Gladys West, a still-living and largely unheralded Black woman whose scientific contributions enabled us to understand geodesy and the shape of the Earth well enough to make GPS technology possible. Here’s the science behind why this “hidden figure” of GPS is invaluable.

In particular, because you also need a (portable) atomic clock, aggravated cybernetics and portable digital computers, reliable rockets, plastics, aluminum, cars, fast food, coffee, taxation and I don't even know what else.

Originally a computer programmer, West specialized in large-scale computer systems and data-processing systems for the analysis of information obtained from satellites. She was the very first person to put together altimeter models of Earth’s shape to significant precision in the 1960s, and served as the project manager for Seasat: the first satellite to perform remote sensing of Earth’s oceans. She was recommended for a commendation for her work, as she worked extra hours to optimize her team’s processing algorithms; as a result of what she did, she cut the processing time for these remote sensing applications in half.

So she did the engineering work as did many many thousands.

But it's good work, above the cut. I dare say a lot of modern "computer science graduates" would be throw into a tailspin just be looking at the formulas.

Your argument is correct in a theoretical sense but it does not work like that in modern U.S. immigration. Today’s immigrants to U.S. mostly come in these categories.

    3. Refugees, asylees etc., won’t be affected much as they are coming from really distressed backgrounds and anything here is superior to where they are coming from. Also, they get government/sponsor help.

    4. “Investors”/ Well off people – won’t be affected by economic crisis as they are already well off.

So the 19th century model of free immigration based on economic opportunity does not apply anymore.

One place where relative economic dynamism does matter today is emigration.
More people are leaving U.S. now than before. Unfortunately, they are not the kind of people whom we wish to see go.

  101. I would absolutely love to see a ‘Diversity Investment Equality’ (DIE, of course) or #ShareCropper movement dedicated to getting companies to transfer 51% ownership to minorities. Think of all, the stock the slaves would have bought if they could have done so! Think of all the West African villagers who would be on corporate boards were the corporations not racistly founded by whites! Think of all those years blacks worked as sharecroppers for nothing. This time Sharecroppers should crop shares of stock.

I mean, it would be great if Apple would replace enough of the people who think they are white with blacks and Hispanics, but they would still be hard at work increasing the value of the company. They would be enriching whites! Is that fair? Nothing would show Apples devotion to Black Lives Matter like giving stock to blacks and Mexicans. so that the workers were creating all that wealth for the real Real Americans, recent Hispanic illegals.

Humorously, corporate owners would likely do better in the long run if they were diluted 50% ownership than if all these companies truly put lots of NAMs into important positions. Anyone can cash a dividend check, but Apple needs really smart people to stay valuable. The minimum ‘value added’ of an employee is not zero. The minimum is the entire value of the company. Horrible employees can drive a company into bankruptcy. Witness Barrings Bsnk. He was not a diversity hire, but he managed to kill the company. One guy!

Here is something you need to do some thinking on Sailer-- We are about to get Biden's immigration wave. But in reality, the US is not a favorable country for immigrants at this point. Our economic system is bound around yet another Fed Wall Street game with money... Fiat currency chasing assets... one of them being housing and that is the worst thing for the permanent underclasses we have.

I wish. But Stonewall this is just wrong–ridiculously wrong.

The US is still wildly more pleasant to live in than most of the planet–and essentially all of Africa. 500m+ people would like to move to the US, right now.

At what point does this dumpster fire of a country get to the point where it isn’t attractive to the world’s poor huddled masses?

When it is worse than every other place on earth.

This is the cold hard, implacable mathematical logic of “nation of immigrants”–of why that particular piece of anti-white, minoritarian propaganda is so abjectly stupid. “Nation of immigrants”–i.e. immigration forever–means you keep taking in more foreigners until your nation becomes so crowded, so riven with ethnic friction, so mediocre … that no one else in the world wants to come.

Not sure. But that’s probably going to take something at least in the neighborhood of 500 million Africans. We are–thankfully–nowhere near that … yet. The US is still a better place to live–dumpster fire and all–than most of the world.

When you start to see Americans streaming out to emigrate to even Haiti or Niger, you’ll know we’re getting close.

This, like most claims of racism today, is utter and complete bullshit.

In particular, because you also need a (portable) atomic clock, aggravated cybernetics and portable digital computers, reliable rockets, plastics, aluminum, cars, fast food, coffee, taxation and I don’t even know what else.

But it’s good work, above the cut. I dare say a lot of modern “computer science graduates” would be throw into a tailspin just be looking at the formulas.

Have you ever looked at Tom Holland or Patricia Crone or the whole Islam history revisionist school of thought? I find it very fascinating. Took a course in ME history in the military and it was all the "standard account", not the new revisionist history.

The so-called revisionist school are simply applying the disciplines of historical, documentary, archaeological and other research to the Islamic narrative……and unsurprisingly finding it to be wholly and entirely bogus, a back reading into the 7th century from the Abbasid empire. Largely an “islamisation” of Talmudic law and lore.

Islam is simply an attempt to “Arabise” the Jewish and Christian story with the koran being nothing but a random collection of retellings of mostly talmudic but also biblical and Christian apocryphal stories

One guy!

I guarantee Tech companies would jump off the diversity bandwagon if diversity wanted Equity Equity.

Trump was more or less on house arrest during the last weeks of his holding office and would not have been allowed to start a nuclear war.

Unfortunately, although everybody who actually knew him realized he was insane, and had been for quite a long time, nobody in a position of power really wanted to bite the bullet and have him removed from office, as this would be so denigrating for the United States.

Removing him from Twitter, Facebook, and other mass media needed to be done because he had used them so irresponsibly for so long.

Democracies, and indeed human civilizations are remarkably fragile things, and they have to do certain things to protect their own existence.

Wanting to violently overthrow the government of the United States probably qualifies as one of those things. Terrorism is another. It just makes sense to ban avowed terrorists from Twitter.

Although some people would have liked him to stay in office, there really doesn't seem to be a massive grassroots opposition to Biden moves to reverse Trump policies, such as rejoining the world health organization, for reinstating the Iran nuclear agreement, or the Paris accords on polluting emissions.

Again, that doesn’t make sense since underlings hired on merit may or may not have the capacity to take their superior’s job while EVERY underling hired for racial identity poses such a threat. There is no incentive to hire unqualified tokens.

Rents are skyrocketing around most of the urban areas where the no skill immigrants will flock.

At what point does this dumpster fire of a country get to the point where it isn't attractive to the world's poor huddled masses? Pretty sure you could live better in Honduras for cheaper than Washington DC, LA, any Texas city etc... Or do the transfer payments you get here still warrant the move nord? Yes yes I know... ask Unzie your host... illegal immigrants don't use welfare... Baloney... but where is the breaking point of cost versus hordes still walking across the border?

It’d be interesting to know exactly how much of the wealth those 30% produce.

Reminds me of that stat from the world of pop/rock music where the British make up less than 10% of the singer-songwriters who publish music, but account for over 60% of those who dominate the charts.

Wouldn’t be at all surprised if even a fraction of that 30% accounted for the bulk of the company’s innovation and wealth. That sounds about white to me.

In any event, what we’re witnessing is the first time a civilization is directed by a hostile elite fuelled entirely by envy. Oh, and greed, of course. Lots of greed. But mostly envy.

    Replies: @IBERIAN, @Guest007

Well, Iranians, Turks, Arabs (and Berbers, Armenians, Greeks, etç)are called Brancos, Blancs, Blancos, Bianchi…centurys before the concept of “White”arise; and all this words are translated by the word “White”… the ideia that Bosphoro or Gibraltar are racial borders is a very modern and Anglo-american ideia. In fact, the concept of “caucasian/white” already exist in North-africa and west asia more than 1000 years before it was “discovered” in England…
in V century, the Berbers already classify people in two groups Bidani (whites) and sudani (guess)…
the first book with racial classifications was writen in Bagdhad, in VIII century…
In Portugal, from the XVI to XVIII there was distinct laws to Black/Negros slaves and White/Brancos slaves… White slaves: mostly Muslims /Mouros (Berbers, Arabs, Persians, Turks, etc..), Jews (Judeus) Pagans/Pagãos (Parses and Bramans) and Chinese and Japanese are also included.
Negros: everibody south of the grand desert… sometimes dark south indians are put in the same group.
EX: – (Bodyguards) White slaves can´t carry weapons; Blacks are aloud…
    – If you rape a Black slave girl (that not belongs to you..) you must pay a penalty.
    – If you rape a White slave girl, you can be deported to Angola (a death penalty)…

  138. Both my parents are from the same town in Italy. I take tremendous pride in that, if I wasn’t so disaffected by what’s been going on in the states I would have gladly married a girl from my parents town and brought her over. Unlike my brother who impulsively decided to get engaged (again) to his on and off south american girl friend of nine years. I cringe at the fact that his children will be bi racial, and am irritated that my parents are condoning the relationship. Mehh maybe they will break up again…

Instead, they have their controlled media shout to us about the Chinese lander on the fucking Moon. The fucking Moon that WHITE AMERICANS walked on, lived on and worked on for three days at a time — half a fucking century ago.

We are so far beyond anyone else that we ourselves cannot comprehend it. The rovers and that helicopter are being run from Pasadena, California. The Pluto spacecraft was run from Boulder, Colorado, across the street from the first micro-brewery I drank from, on Walnut Street. Americans have not landed on Mars. They have just put a tiny toy drone helicopter on Mars that has a rotor that revolves at fantastically high speed to be able to fly in the thin atmosphere of Mars and is remote controlled.

This is a pretty impressive achievement, to be sure, but a long way from putting Americans on Mars.

What NASA should now do is inform Donald Trump that he has been selected by universal acclaim to be the first man worthy to be on Mars, and that he will be able to hit his drives a mile, and to send him on his way before he realizes that there are no golf courses on Mars, that his lottery prize is a one-way ticket, and that Mars is infested with spiders.

Why any self-respecting person with even a modicum of common sense stays on that platform is beyond me.

    Replies: @Jonathan Mason

Although some people would have liked him to stay in office, there really doesn’t seem to be a massive grassroots opposition to Biden moves to reverse Trump policies, such as rejoining the world health organization, for reinstating the Iran nuclear agreement, or the Paris accords on polluting emissions.

I don’t know about the foreign hordes but Americans should start emigrating to greener pastures or cheaper countries South of the border or Asia. Starting a small business, living off your savings or teaching English are the main sources of revenue for expats. Just keep a low profile and live frugally in a place like Ecuador, Chile or Thailand.
